"Wait, this can't be…"

Makini was in shock, this is just so unnatural, how can he be…? She glanced at the couple, "How did you guys make this happened? Timon, you're not sick because of a bug but because you're pregnant."

Timon and Pumbaa's eyes have widened, Rafiki enters just in time with Kion and Simba (who looked in concerned about his Pops), when Kion told him that… he just shakes his head. Timon blurts out, which was out of his control, "How could I be pregnant? This doesn't make sense, I'm a male, damn it!"

If it wasn't for Kion who made his father lean against him, Simba would've collapsed, even though Kion was also as surprised as his father.

"One question," demands Rafiki as he taps his foot, "have you two been joking while having sex on the night that the shooting star appeared?"

Timon and Pumbaa's eyes have widened as they gaze at each other before returning to Rafiki, Timon sighs as wipes away his tears, "We don't know, Rafiki," he then remembers hearing Thurston telling the former lion guard that he saw a shooting star while they were getting him out of a tree, "oh shit."

Rafiki shakes his head as he facepalmed, "What had gotten into you two, doing those sorts of jokes while doing-"

"Yeah! We get it Rafiki, we messed up big time," Timon throws his arms in the air, Pumbaa putting a hoof on his shoulder, Simba is now concerned about Timon, he's still in shock by hearing his Pops is pregnant, Timon can feel this and tears escapes his eyes as he pivots to his older son and grandson, "We're sorry about that, we didn't know that the shooting star..."

Simba sighs in exasperation and turns to Timon, "Look Timon, you and Pumbaa have done the joke and that's it, you can't change the past," then calms himself a little, "hakuna matata, I guess."

"That's right, Simba. Hakuna matata," Pumbaa beams up while rubbing Timon's shoulder, "we'll go through this together."

"Yeah," mutters Simba, brushing some tears away from his eyes, he rotates to the aging mandrill, "Rafiki… is there some kind of consequence if they go all the way…" he couldn't speak more, Rafiki had guessed it, anyways.

"If you think the Pridelanders will accept this news, you are wrong," Rafiki shakes his head, then breaths in and out, "there might be some but I do not know," and then takes a glance at Kion and Simba's direction, "if that's the case, they'll have to be very careful if the news spreads out."

"It will never be revealed that Pops is… pregnant," announces Simba with difficulty, "only close family will only know about this," he then raises a little his voice, "he… they… I've changed my mind; I don't accept this, and I don't think I will never accept this thing Timon is carrying."

"Simba!" Pumbaa chides him, Simba's reaction visibly hurting Timon's feelings, one of Pumbaa's forelegs is around him. Simba did a circle and then took one last glimpse at his adoptive fathers and left in a huff.

"Grandpops, how could you and Grandpa…" Kion begins but was abruptly interrupted by Timon who raises a hand, "No Kion, I don't need you to be on our backs, too."

He continues with tears flowing down his cheeks, "We weren't aware of the shooting star. Now excuse us, we'll tell the news to Bunga and Binga."

Rani was coming towards them, but she ceased when she sees that they're very upset, she had the urge to ask them, "Timon and Pumbaa, what's the matter?"

The meerkat wipes his tears away, smiling weakly, "It hurts that no one is on our side so far, our baby cub is mad at us and Kion…" he bits his bottom lip, he looks up at Rani, "I'm not looking forward to see Bunga's reaction and the rest of the family," his eyes have widened as he turns to his mate, "oh! Pumbaa, do you think that would affect Kiara, Kion, Bunga and Tiifu's relationships? If they hear I'm…" he then looks up at Rani again, "pregnant."

Rani vocalizes, "What? How could it be possible that…?"

Pumbaa let's out an exhausted sigh, it looks like he aged ten years older, "Makini or Rafiki will explain it to you, we're not in a mood to explain anything right now."

Rani embraces them, not knowing else to do, she then looks at them with half-closed eyes, "Everything is going to be fine, I'm pretty sure your philosophy will save you from," she then whispers, "anything."

She continues with a yawn, "But now it's getting late and I seriously need some sleep. Goodnight."

Timon looks at his flat abdomen, putting a paw on it before taking a glance at Rani, "Yeah… you're right, granddaughter-in-law, I'm pretty sure our philosophy will pull us through," and kisses Pumbaa on the cheek, then the two told her goodnight before heading off to Binga's den.

Rani with a huff goes inside the tree of life and has given her mate a stern glance, Makini and Rafiki leaving them in their privacy, "Alright Kion, you should accept that you'll have a little aunt or uncle in a couple of months."

Kion replies with anger, "I know that! It's just that how could they have been so careless? I mean, it's not that I refuse to accept my future aunt or uncle, it's just that…" he feels tears cascading down his cheeks, "what if this causes my grandfathers' deaths, you know that the Pridelanders and the habitats of the Tree of Life…"

"Kion," yawns Rani, covering her mouth, "there's always going to be things that they will loathe. I don't know why you are so worried," she then gives him a scowl, "but now let's really get into slumber."

The new king of the Tree of Life nods in approbation as he too let's out a loud yawn and lays down, thinking, his queen, however fell asleep. Kion thought with bitterness, there's four names that I can think of that can destroy my grandfathers' lives: Makuu, Ma Tembo, Zito and Thurston.

Timon who was the only one awake peers at his abdomen, he couldn't believe that he was pregnant! Timon's now concerned as he looks at his sleeping mate, the love of his life, the adoptive Pa of Simba (even if he's mad at them for having joked while having sex) and Bunga (even though the honey badger is still calling them "uncles"), the adoptive Grandpa of Kion, Kiara, and Kopa.

He and Pumbaa had difficulty announcing the news to Bunga and Binga, concerning for how they'll react (if it's the same as Simba's). Binga didn't know what to say but still congratulates them, still confusion on her face, while Bunga was just in shock, saying he's sleep on it for the night. He was thinking a couple of nights ago when the last time he and Pumbaa had sex.

Timon putting his lips hardly on Pumbaa's while the warthog has his forelegs around Timon, they're sweating, Timon moans as he earns a satisfaction from Pumbaa, he looks at his pungent mate and jokes, "Would it have been great if I wished I was pregnant?" and then Pumbaa jokes back with a grin, "And wished to have beautiful twin daughters?"

This causes them to laugh and continue to have sex, meanwhile they had joked a shooting star had gone across the starry night. Pumbaa placing Timon on the soft ground and he gently goes halfway on Timon, only his shoulders, arms and head is visible and Timon kisses Pumbaa on the snout, afterwards Pumbaa kisses him on the lips, trying to…

Ah yes, that night was memorable for the duo, he smiles, finally falling asleep…

Meanwhile Timon and the others were sleeping, Kiara and Kovu were taking a glance inside the den, where their non-lion family were sleeping. Kiara sighs and gazes in her mate's green eyes, "Kovu… I'm worried that there's something else is wrong with Grandpops."

"I'm pretty sure he'll be fine," replies Kovu in a low voice, Kiara nods in approbation, Kovu is taken aback, then Kopa appears as he lays down with them.

He looks also at his Grandpops in concern, not wanting to know what he has but, in another way, he does want to know. Kopa, Kovu and Kiara didn't know what else to say, Kopa to cease the tension in the air jokingly replies, "Who knows, maybe Grandpops is pregnant."

The future king and queen of the Pridelands have send him some daggers, he shrunk a little, suddenly a voice was heard, "Kopa has a point… I mean, he's right."

The three has jumped abruptly, they turn to the source of the voice and sees Binga coming out of her den, "May I join in the conversation?"

They all bobbed their head and signals to sit next to Kopa, Binga sighs and obeys, she wraps her arms around her legs, "Like I was saying, Timon's pregnant. And how? It's still a blur in my head, not just mine but Bunga's. He's still pretty in shock when he has learned the news."

Kiara slaps her paw on her muzzle to keep her from screaming, Kovu rubbing her back. Kopa's mouth slightly parted and a squeak just came out, Kovu glares at him as if saying he's making noises. Kiara, who looks in shock utters, "How… can this be… possible?"

"Like I've said it's still a blur for Bunga and I but they told us that they had joked about having twin daughters," Binga sticks her tongue out in concentration, "and being pregnant while a shooting star has come across the sky while they were having sex."

That made the three lions groaned in response, Kopa facepalmed, "What in the actual fuck were they thinking when they made this joke?"

Binga came to their defense, "It's not their fault, they weren't aware of that shooting star."

Kopa mutters, "Yes, I know but still…"

Binga just realized that she just blurted out the news to her new family, "Oh. Oh, I'm so sorry, I… I wasn't to announce it to you, it's supposed to be a secret until they announce it to the whole family."

"Look Binga, it's alright," Kiara reassures her (even though she's still in shock), "we'll… be still surprised when Grandpops and Grandpa will announce it to us," she then turns to her mate and older brother, "right, guys?"

They both bobbed their heads approvingly, Binga yawns and stands up, "Well, goodnight," and as she was going to go inside the den she says in a low voice, "Simba and Kion knows about it, they too have difficulty accepting the news," and she went inside the den to sleep.

Kopa felt his eyes watery, a tear leaked from his visible eye (the other one was hidden by a large dark red bang), "I've got to go back to mom and dad, you know, support them? I'm surprised that Grandpa, Grandpops and Uncle Bunga doesn't know mom is pregnant."

"Yeah, well, they'll tell them tomorrow morning," Kiara bitterly replies, shaking a little, she sadly has to sleep through this, "we'll still guard Binga's den, we promised dad we'll do it so…"

Kopa smiles, "Yes, I understand, sis. See you two tomorrow," and he left to be near his parents, so he can keep an eye on them. Kiara and Kovu also snuggled against each other and fell asleep.
