There was a lightning that appeared across the sky, followed by a loud cracking sound. Tiifu was scared as she covers her eyes, Zuri went to see her parents for the night, she was welcome to go with her girlfriend, but Tiifu objected and told Zuri she would be okay on her own. Zuri just shrugged her shoulders and left, however she realized that she should've had gone with her. Lightning and thunder were repeating itself; she whimpers, she finally remembers her adopted mothers comforting her while a storm like this happened. But how can she get comforted by them? Their away in a special mission, they can't comfort her unless…

She sighs in frustration; she surely misses her adopted uncles but she's still upset with them for wishing this stupid wish even if it wasn't their fault. Thank the great kings of the past that where she and Zuri started to live wasn't far from Hakuna Matata Falls, she waits for it to calm down. When the lightning and thunder ceased, she went for it, running as fast as she could (despite it would ruin her tuft a little bit more). Whimpering because she's afraid, whimpering because she feels alone and needs some comfort. She sees Hakuna Matata Falls a bit from distant and cheers happily.

Meanwhile, Pumbaa was nuzzling a little Timon's womb as the meerkat smiles, but then looks up at the sky, "Pumbaa… do you think the great kings of the past are furious with us, right now?"

Pumbaa ceases to nuzzle Timon's belly, "What makes you think that, Timon? It's probably Simba, they're furious at, not us," he wraps both his forelegs around Timon, "and besides… you're feeling stressed, I'm I right?"

"I guess so," Timon looks down at his womb, caressing it, then chokes back a sob, "but I miss my baby cub so much, and our niece…"

Pumbaa kisses Timon, "Don't forget what Kopa told you."

Kopa from a little further, cracks halfway an eye, smiling, "See? Grandpa is agreeing with me, Grandpops."

Timon sternly takes a quick glimpse in his grandson's direction, "You, young lion needs some sleep. Stop listening to our conversation."

"Alright, sorry, but with all those lightning and thunder, I can't sleep," Kopa groans, switching position, "how do you two sleep through all that?"

Timon and Pumbaa giggles, Pumbaa replies, "Simple. You get used to it. You know you could've sleep with your parents and sister…"

"No thanks, I prefer staying here," Kopa stubbornly says and then does an eyeroll, "besides, there is too much love over there… too many couples for my taste."

"What about us?" Timon queries and both he and Pumbaa kisses on each other's lips, Kopa rolled his eyes again but with a smile.

"Like I've said, I prefer staying here."

They hear a twig crack nearby them, Kopa and Pumbaa went in a fighting position rapidly, Timon shielding his womb from whatever is lurking near them, the lightning and the thunder have returned, the rain coming down faster. Kopa growls, "Show yourself!"

They hear instantly some whimpering, the trio stares at each other before returning to stare at what's going to appear in front of them. Realizing that it was their niece, Pumbaa asks to be sure if it's really her, "Tiifu? Is that you?"

Tiifu appears before them, tears flowing down her cheeks, sniffling, "I… I… I'm…"

Timon and Pumbaa's eyes have snapped wide opened as they registered that Tiifu was afraid of lightning and thunder, they also used to comfort her when she was a baby. Timon raises his arms to her, "Come here, sweetie."

Tiifu obeys him and while she walked to him, Pumbaa and Kopa, thunder was heard and she has done a little jump, wailing. Kopa goes to her, nudges her a little as if he's saying he will be next to her, while she will walk. Tiifu bobs her head and wobbly goes to Timon. She lays down right in between Timon and Pumbaa. Timon sitting down, petting Tiifu's cheek, "Don't worry, you're safe now."

Kopa is looking everywhere, "Where's Zuri? Isn't she with you?"

Timon and Pumbaa who were comforting their niece, gives their oldest grandson a glare, Pumbaa says nonchalantly, "Now's not the time, Kopa…"

"She's visiting her parents for the night, she's returning before noon tomorrow," Tiifu quickly states, feeling a little better, now that she's safe with her uncles, she then lays her head down, falling asleep, running did exhaust her.

"We all need to sleep," Timon chuckles, and points to his little belly, "especially me," and then kisses Tiifu on the cheek.

"Goodnight," Kopa replies, nuzzling his two grandfathers before heading to his spot.

"Sleep tight." Timon yawns and drifts off to sleep.

"Dream of bed bugs tonight." And Pumbaa starts to snore, Kopa on the other paw is staring at his sleeping family, looking up at the sky with bitterness, he thought, I hope this raining storm will calm down.

Timon was the first to wake up and smiles brightly at his sleeping niece. He still has some hopes that his baby cub will accept his future little sisters. He and Pumbaa are positive that they'll have daughters, like Pumbaa had joked. He whispers to his womb, "Don't worry lovies, I'm pretty sure that your oldest brother will accept the both of you."

Then a thought occurred, he didn't think about it at first but… "Pumbaa?"

Pumbaa wakes up with a smile, Timon goes to kiss him, then the meerkat allows his mate to nuzzle his belly, "Pumbaa, I'm now thinking about our sisters and the rest of the family will think."

Pumbaa glares at him, "Timon… you know very well that my father and brother doesn't want to do anything with us. My mom? Well, if she doesn't accept our daughters as her granddaughters, it's going to be too bad because it's our choice, not hers."

Timon snaps, "I know!" and then checks if his sudden outburst had wakened up Kopa and Tiifu, it didn't. Tiifu only stirred in her sleep. Tears starts to rise again, "I… I… it's just that even some weight is off my shoulders because my Ma (even if we know very well she would accepted the girls) and Uncle Max have passed away some time ago, I'm still concerned of what my little sister will say to me."

Pumbaa scooted away from Tiifu to bring Timon into a big hug, "Timon… I'm pretty sure that she'll accept the girls. We must tell our little sisters, they're family to us."

"I know…" breaths in Timon as he gives Pumbaa a kiss on the cheek, "it's just with Simba-"

"Again, with Simba? What is the problem with you mentioning Simba?" Pumbaa (even though that he mentioned Simba last night) snaps at Timon, this causes Kopa and Tiifu to wake up, he just sighs in frustration, "Right now, Simba doesn't-"

"Don't you say what I'm thinking you're going to say, I don't want to hear it, he's still our CUB, rather you like it or not," tears flowing down Timon's cheeks, snapping back at his mate, "did you forget hakuna matata, by the way?"

Pumbaa just sends smoke out of his nostrils, he seethes, "Did you see the way he is treating us? I'm usually positive and all but…" tears also flowing down his cheeks, "right now, I don't think our hakuna matata is helping us."

Timon sends daggers at Pumbaa, "Let Simba digest the news, dear. It may have been already two weeks, but I still have a feeling he'll accept me being pregnant and," he puts a paw on his belly, feeling stressed out, "our little girls."

"Can I feel my cousins?" asks Tiifu suddenly, trying to calm down her uncles, Timon and Pumbaa gives her a frown, following by Timon shaking his head, "Not now, Tiifu. We're busy here."

Tiifu was visibly hurt, she was just trying to help, Kopa went next to her, patting her back, she looks back at him with a weak smile, they then continued to watch the duo's arguments. Timon scowls at Pumbaa, "You didn't even notice that Simba was feeling ill!"

"What do you mean I didn't notice him ill? Of course, I did!" Pumbaa spats at him, "You really think I'm too dumb to realize this? Seriously Timon, I thought you knew better."

"What's going on here?" asks a voice from behind Tiifu and Kopa, Kiara and Kovu are there with concerned looks on their faces. Kopa explained that it's about their father and both the future king and queen groans at this, Kiara with anger, replies, "I knew daddy would have caused some arguments between our grandfathers."

Zuri comes to Tiifu as she snuggles her, then gives her a small glare, "You should've had come with me to visit my parents, instead of…" Zuri finding good words, "watching this argument."

"No, actually, I'm happy that I came here last night," Tiifu smiles sweetly, ignoring her girlfriend's glare, "I felt secured here."

"Tiifu… we need to discuss in private, let's go back to our home," Zuri whispers into her ear, the freckled lioness gives a huff and leaves, Zuri trotting behind her.

With some minutes of silence Tiifu turns to the one that she wants to marry someday, "What do you want to talk about?"

"Let's wait…"

"No! Now!" Tiifu gnashing her teeth at Zuri, which this has taken her by surprise, this isn't the one that Zuri knows, her childhood, her mate, what's going on with her? She notices that it's just after they left Hakuna Matata Falls. Timon and Pumbaa. That's what.

Zuri bitterly gazes at Tiifu, "That you're overreacting because some rat is pregnant!"

Some Pridelanders went to look at the scene the girls are creating, Tiifu is trembling with anger, how could Zuri insult her uncle like that? She knew very well that when she began to date her, she was Timon and Pumbaa's niece- and way back when they met each other. The duo introduced her to Zuri and Kiara. She snaps at her, "Uncle Timon is not a RAT but a MEERKAT!"

She hears some Pridelanders talking each other about her uncles in a negative way, especially Thurston, who she thought he was her friend, trying to be on her side, but alas it doesn't seem that way, well who cares, finally? When she already has two best friends already. Tiifu ears burned when she was hearing the Pridelanders talking in a negative way. Zuri continues, while examining her claws, "Well, who cares? I should've never left you alone, look what they made you-"

"SHUT UP!" Tiifu yells as she raises her paw in the air, Zuri dodged Tiifu's paw just in time, more Pridelanders came to watch, Tiifu takes shaky breaths as she takes a glance in Zuri's direction with blazing eyes, "Do not ever talk about my family like that, again!"

"Or else what?" Zuri provoking her, Tiifu had enough of this foolishness, she roars and then lunges at Zuri, which the beauty lioness moves on the left, Tiifu barely touching her. Zuri does a tsk-tsk before smirking, "Oh Tiifu… you know very well, that your uncles are probably going to die, anyways," and then retorts, "I think we should take a break, your mind is too clouded, right now."

Tiifu weakly gets up and snaps at her, "Fine with me!" and then leaves, sobbing uncontrollably. She runs past Simba, who at his turn is in shock, he calls to her, "Tiifu!"

"Not now, your majesty, later," Tiifu calls back, sobbing, "I'm going to visit my mommas, and I don't care if they aren't at the jungle yet!"

Zazu arrives in repugnance, "This pregnant male…" he then gulps when he saw his king's face, "Timon needed some help from Rafiki because he was too stressed or something like that."

Simba's face has paled while Zazu was saying that Tiifu and Zuri had an argument, but small. He couldn't believe that he's been such a jerk, especially to his adopted fathers, hoping everything will be fine with Timon and… his baby sisters.

He knows it's not smart of him for not going to Hakuna Matata Falls but he's not in a mood to get scolded at, his nauseous has returned and has excused Zazu so he can return to his den, he thought that today would be a day that he'll be alright with no nauseous but sadly, this isn't the case. When he lays down on the cold spot he usually sleeps, he takes a glimpse from outside and sees that the sky is getting dark, the wind getting louder. Simba through tears knows that the great kings of the past are furious with him, not showing up to give some support for Timon. He instantly began to sob.

At Hakuna Matata Falls, two hours later…

Pumbaa was laying right next to his mate, tears rolling down his cheeks but too exhausted to cry more, he cried enough hysterically earlier, he didn't care if the whole Pridelands- no, wait! The whole SAVANNAH had heard him, it's all his fault if he had stressed Timon out, he looks to see Kopa sniffling in his sleep. They all have eaten but not that much, too much anxiety, Nala kept vomiting after she has eaten some meat, so she ate at least a bug. It's not good for her state either, hoping his future grandcubbies are going to be alright.

"P… Pumbaa…" a voice that the warthog recognizes very well had stammered, "I… I… I'm sorry."

Pumbaa stood up excitedly but remembered to be careful with him, he nuzzles Timon with delicacy, "Timon, I'm so glad that you're okay."

Timon weakly smiles at his mate, his eyes waters a little, "What about the pups?"

"Our daughters are going to be okay," Pumbaa continues to gently nuzzle Timon, "don't worry," he feels more tears coming up, "Timon, I'm sorry…"

"No Pumbaa, it's my fault," replies Timon, weakly shaking his head, he doesn't know why he fainted, did the stress really did that to him? He lays a paw on Pumbaa's cheek, while Pumbaa touched it with a hoof when he lays back right next to Timon, "I shouldn't have…"

"No, no, Timon. You're right, I'm pretty sure Simba will accept the pups soon," Pumbaa smiles, while kissing Timon, making the meerkat blush.

They heard a fake retching noise coming from Kopa, "Seriously, you two? This must be the sappiest and grossest scene ever," but then quickly changes to a grin, "But I'm glad that you're alright, Grandpops."

"Same here, grandbaby." Timon raises his arms to him, and Kopa went to do a gentle hug to Timon, Timon pets his mane, he just had to ask a question, "I'm guessing everyone knows?"

Kopa jabs a thumb in Pumbaa's direction, "Well, as you know Grandpa sobbed loud enough for the whole savannah to hear him, so yeah."

"Can I feel my cousins?" This was a question asked by Tiifu two hours earlier, when him and Pumbaa were in their heated conversation. Even though the pups were too small to move or kick, he shouldn't had pushed Tiifu away, hope… no, no! He doesn't want to get stressed again. Tiifu! He gazes at Kopa, urging to ask another question, Kopa notices this and bobs his head as if he read his mind, "Go on with the question, Grandpops."

Pumbaa's eyes have widened to see what his mate was going to ask their grandson, Timon queries with concern in his voice, "How's… Tiifu?"

"Zazu told us that she went to the jungle after…" he stops himself from revealing the rest, his grandfathers have given him a stern look, gesturing him to go on, Kopa sighs in frustration, "Grandpops, are you sure that…"

"Yes, I want to make sure Tiifu's okay."

"Tiifu and Zuri had a heated argument, well a small one but it was heated enough so that Tiifu tried to claw and lunge at her."

This has surprised the duo as Pumbaa questions his oldest grandcub, "Do you know what the reason was?"

"Zuri insulted you two, well mostly Grandpops, and that you two caused brain damage to Tiifu or something like that, and then Tiifu left crying, leaving to see your sisters… if they have returned, of course."

Timon and Pumbaa stares at each other with concern, Timon afterwards stares at his small womb, caressing it, "Well, I hope that Malaika and Jameela will comfort her, she needs it," and the meerkat sighs, "I just don't get why Tiifu got angry only because of a little thing like that. It's not like her, she knows that there would be some Pridelanders who would insult us, in our faces and our backs."

He then looks up at his mate, while continuing caressing his womb, "Let's just hope that our sisters have returned to the jungle."

Hours later, in the jungle…

Tiifu had arrived in the jungle exhausted, she desperately needs her mothers' comfort, sure, she had eaten a half-eaten carcasses on her way here, but she still felt hungry, some meerkats anxiously stares at her, even though they know that she will never eat them, they're some who are afraid of her. A meerkat with spiky brown hair comes to her, "I'm sorry Tiifu but your mothers aren't here yet, I'm sorry."

Tiifu gives him a disappointed look, "Well thanks anyways, Kahawia."

A criniger bird named Njano comes right at this instant and dips his head forward, "Nice to see you Tiifu but I'm sorry to say this, but your mothers won't be there for a couple days, can you wait until then?"

Tiifu felt tears coming up, she wants to stay in the jungle, but she looks back at the direction she just arrived but waiting that long for her mothers to arrive is no, she doesn't need to be here if that's the case, "No… I'll return to the Pridelands if they'll be away for some days," and then hisses, "again."

Njano gazes at her sympathetically, seeing her in her valuable state breaks his head, "I understand that it can be rough for you to not see them more often, but I can guarantee you that they still love you."

"I know Njano, it's just that… I had a heated argument with my girlfriend and her insulting my uncles…" Tiifu replies sharply, "I thought that if my mothers would be there, they would…"

"Comfort you?" Njano and Kahawia both finishes her sentence together, Njano gives a stern look at the usual blabbering meerkat.

"Yeah." Tiifu yawns, looking at the sun going down before her green eyes.

"Well, you should rest then," Kahawia said with a smile, "I'm sure my family wouldn't mind it."

He takes a glimpse at his parents, and they shook their heads, his shoulders sinks, the freckled lioness puts a paw on his shoulders, "Thanks anyways, Kahawia. I'll sleep where I usually sleep when I visit."

Kahawia just shrugs his shoulders and leaves, when she started to stroll through the jungle, Njano follows her with concern, she's a friend of him and friends should be there to support each other, a question however pops into his mind, "I'm sorry to ask this, my friend but… how's your uncles?"

This question made Tiifu cease abruptly, nearly falling face down in the dirt, she gazes at him with wide eyes, she swallows hardly, "I… my uncles, well… how to explain it to you?"

"Explain what?" asks Kahawia, both Tiifu and Njano jumped at their friend's sudden outburst.

"I thought you were with your family," Njano irritably glances at his friend.

"Yeah but…" he twists one of his feet in embarrassment, "I wanted to be with you guys, I told my parents that I'll go comfort my friend, rather they like it or not," and looks up at his lioness friend, "but anyways, what's with your uncles?"

Tiifu continues to stroll in complete silence, until they were at her resting spot, Njano and Kahawia looks at each other with worry, Tiifu slumps on the ground in a huff, "Well, they have done a stupid wish when they were," she says, blushing, not wanting to get into too many details, "you know. There was this shooting star and they joked about having biological daughters or whatever-"

Kahawia vocalizes in shock, "Say, what? Don't tell me that your Uncle Timon or Uncle Pumbaa is…"

Tiifu nods tiredly, wanting to go to slumber, "Yes, pregnant," and then does another yawn, "and it's Uncle Timon that is carrying the future pups."

And with that she has fallen asleep, her friends who were absent-minded, gave each a long sigh before going to bed at their own turn.

Meanwhile…

"I can't believe that you did that Zuri," Malkia, who's Zuri's mother, is scolding her, "Where are your manners?"

"Her uncles-"

"Silence!" Her father Maskini is also outraged by his first daughter's attitude, "Even if this is silly for a male…," he then calms down as he didn't want to cause any attention from other Pridelanders, "to be pregnant. You had no rights to do that to Tiifu, you know how she is with her family."

Zuri looks down at the ground in tears, she never meant to disappoint her parents like that, Malkia gives her a cold glare, "At least your sister knows to control herself, I should've never had spoiled you, the way you're treating this poor Tiifu…"

"Well, she…," Zuri stops, wondering what else to say, kicking a pebble, tears going down her cheeks, "I was wrong, okay? Why do you keep defending Mahaba like that? She too can have a sharp tongue-"

Her parents do a low growl at her, like if they were saying to her to shut up. Zuri guiltily stares at the direction of Maji Baridi Falls, she failed to impress her parents, like always, Mahaba is their favorite (she's sure of it, even if they declined), she wished that Afua was still alive, so she won't be alone in this. Malkia looks down at her, "So will you apologize to Tiifu when you'll see her?"

"Yes, mother," Zuri says, still feeling guilty, then with a nod both her parents left, in another way she understands that this is a way to tell her that this wasn't nice of her, she knows her parents loves Tiifu but not being her daughter's lover, Zuri takes a deep breath, going for a drink, cursing at herself for being mean to her Tiifu, her childhood friend, her soulmate. Hoping that she's alright.

Three days later, in the jungle…

Tiifu said she would have returned to the Pridelands the next day of her arriving at the jungle but finally, it's silly to just return the next day, she knows that her family and friends in the Pridelands could wait, plus it would make Zuri realized what she has done. Now, she's ready to go back, she said goodbye to her friends before beginning her traveling through the desert, while she just ate back at the jungle, she was feeling hungry.

When she finally arrives at destination, she sees Zazu coming towards her, she smiles weakly and the hornbill gives her a stink eye. She quickly shuts up and utters, "Someone is missing me?"

"Everyone, Dame Tiifu. You have given them quite a scare and in a matter of fact, you even made your uncles worried."

He continues, "Timon wasn't feeling well for two hours, and it started not long after you and Zuri had your heated argument."

Tiifu's was completely blown away, her voice quivers, "Is Timon okay?"

"Yes, of course," he turns to leave and turns a little his head towards her, "I believe I can announce everyone your return?"

"Y… yeah, I'll just eat first," Tiifu replies, glancing sideways, feeling a little embarrassed to having made her family worried about her, finally it was a bad idea to be gone that long. She sees Zazu departing to announce her return.

She went to see the royal family first, they were so happy to see her, they embraced her tightly, her belly grumbled for food as she laughed nervously, Simba said that there were some left, she couldn't wait, she needed to eat. While she was eating, she couldn't help but ask this to Kiara, "Kiara, how are Timon and Pumbaa?"

Kiara gives her a glare, "Meaning that you made us worried, including them? Nothing much," she then sighs, "Tiifu… what have you been thinking?"

"I just wanted to get some comfort from my mothers," states Tiifu as she continues to eat, "I'm sorry. It's just there were too many arguments for me in a day that I don't know what came over me."

Kiara does a bitter smile, "Yes, I have heard of your heated argument with Zuri, she had no rights to say this about Timon and Pumbaa. It's hard enough for them to receive insults from the other Pridelanders."

Tiifu finished her meal, covering her muzzle to belch, she then exhales, "Can I go to Hakuna Matata Falls?"

Kiara shakes her head, Tiifu knows that she'll fall asleep while she goes there, so there's no point of arguing with Kiara. Tiifu nods and follows Kiara, as the two lioness were nearly inside the den, they heard a roar that looks like it came from Hakuna Matata Falls.

"Tiifu, go inside, Kovu and I will go see what is happening, hoping that Vitani and her guard will be there." Then with that she and Kovu instantly left, Simba sits next to Tiifu, despite feeling sick a little, fear in his eyes, he breaths in and out, "I… hope, they… will be fine."

Tiifu takes a glance in Simba's direction and dips her head at him before she tries to sleep.
