[Late in the evening.]
5Pb. And Cave are walking in the hallway of the hospital…
"How are you feeling?"
"Better..."
5Pb have a bit of difficult in walking, something usual that happen after exiting form a coma, even if Makers tend to be harder to kill than average humans due to their unusual physical proprieties, they are still humans after all and can still suffer of humans problems, on a lesser extent
"You're okay at least. You will thanks Bethesda."
"What he did?"
"He saved your life."
"How?"
"Enough said, you will ask him for details."
"Oh o-ok okay!"
They walk for a while
"You are sure that you can still sing?"
"I think I can..."
"Perfect, because the concert is tonight."
"Uh?! They still planed it with what happened?"
"After that they knew you would be back on your feet today. Aren't you a bit anxious?"
"About what?"
"If there is another person going to try to kill you."
"Y-yes but… I cant-t just give up the people."
"Don't worry, this time there will be a maximal surveillance."
5Pb. Exhale "I'm a bit reassured… by the way Bethesda returned?"
"Affirmative. He said that the candidate needed a guide for traveling trough Leanbox so I don't expect him to stay here."
"Oh. I guess I can still say hello to him."
They exit form the back of the hospital, they did it to avoid the paparazzi, there is a car that look like a Chevrolet bel air form the 50s waiting for them, there is Obsidian outside of it, he salute the two girls
"I see that you reestablished well." He says
"Hello..." 5Pb. Says in a hesitating voice
Obsidian opens the back door and let the idol seating inside, cave turns around the car and goes for the front seat, they get their belt on and the Scientist turn on the engine and rolls off
"So we didn't have a lot of time to talk last time we seen each others."
"What you want to talk about?"
"Oh, anything, you know I'm open."
"...W-what are you working on right now?"
"Not much but just before Bethesda came back I finally managed to recreate the microchip."
"The microchip that allow to hit me even I dodge everything normally?" Cave asks
"Exactly that one. I see you still have a bad taste of the time you trained with Bethesda."
"What you want me to do against an aim bot?… Anyway and does it works?"
"I didn't have the occasion to test it but I hope so. I wasn't supposed to tell you these things since its a bit classified."
"Oh that's fine." 5Pb says
"Its not like we were ASIC spies." Cave says jokingly
They laugh to that
"How many time it took tough?" 5Pb. asks
"Chika ordered me to work on that since Bethesda was gone so… 3 years and few months." Obsidian explains
"Damn." They both says
"Yeah I know, it was a pain to remake that, microchip like these are very rare and only Bethesda father managed to make ones like that."
"Looks like its not longer the case." Cave comments
"I was wondering. Why Bethesda didn't came to see me?
"He was "busy". But I'm sure you will see him tomorrow"
[At the same moment…]

THE PUB NEAR BETHESDA APARTMENT
EVENING
At the same time Bethesda is sitting on stool, where he is usually when he's a the pub but he's not drinking alone this time…
"Hand me another glass of HIC Whiskey!" IF says while raising her glass
The barmaid fill her another glass
"He he Hups, I told you that you would love this."
"I got an occasion to relax after everything happened so better take it."
"You are totally right." Bethesda says he then drink his glass of whiskey
A few moments after Compa enters the Pub
"So you two were here?" Compa says "The concert is tomorrow and after it we are going to seek for the mascot don't get drunk now!"
"Oh come on Compa! Come with us and drink a little." IF responds
"Alcohol bad for health! You two told me that you were just going for a walk and you does that" Compa says while she walks towards them
Compa grab them by the arms and drag them to the exit
"Wait Wut Wait! I didn't even paid!" Bethesda pleads
"I don't want you two to have a bad hangover after waking up!" Compa says in an unusual firm way
[Later.]
Compa enters the apartment with Bethesda and IF, RL-3 comes to them
"WELCOME BACK."
"Can you please put Beth in a bed?" Compa asks
They effectively both fallen asleep when they were in the elevator
RL-3 walks to them and grab them, it carry him over its metal shoulders and heads for Bethesda bedroom
Compa goes to the kitchen and get a glass, RED walks up to her
"You're awake?" RED asks
"I had to go get them… They were in a PUB." Compa responds as she get a bottle of water out of the fridge
"Oh. They were drunk?"
Compa nods while filling her glass, she then drink it and put the glass in the dishwasher. She then head to the living room with RED
RED sits down on an arm chair, adjusted to make a makeshift bed Hiroi; her pet dragon is sleeping on the top of it, Compa lays on couch, the couch who have been also made into a makeshift bed
"Hope this will be over soon."
"Yeah! So I can marry my wifeys!"
"…RED I was wondering… what made you into being a waifu collector?"
RED thinks for a moment "…My mom…" She takes a breath "I one time was in festival with my mom, everything was going fine until..."
RED and her mom are at a festival in a village near a jungle, RED write on a colored card a wish, the wish that she could be always happy with her family in the form of a poem, she then put in the leaf of a tree in the center of the village

The ground tremble
"Mom? What is happening?"
"Its just an earthquake."
A gigantic monster emerge form the ground, it looks like more a plant than an animal, it stands by using a lot of gigantic vines that at the end of it have hooks, it use them has limbs, controlled by one central body that looks like a pink rosebud
The civilians looks at the gigantic plant that took their attention
"Wow you have seen it?
"What is that?"
The plant start to rise itself in the air, its bud opens and reveal a mouth similar to a carnivorous plant, but with a very long tongue like the chameleons have, it roars and catches a man and it sallow him
The fascination and confusion of the villagers turns to panic, the monstrosity start to grab more and more villagers, RED and her mother run away form the massacre, some people try to hide in their homes, but get directly dragged out of their houses by the hoked vines of the monster
After minutes of unfinished run, RED mother's falls on a rock
"MOM!" yells RED
"Run! don't stay here!"
RED runs to her mom, but as she was about to reach her, he get grasps by the hook and dragged away
"MMMOOOMMMYYYYYYYY!" RED yells out, powerlessly
RED then snaps back and decides to runs away as her mother told, with tears running down her face
"On that day, I decided to avenge my village, that' s why I want to have many wifeys as possible, I want to create an army of them."
"That's horrible!"
"THIS IS FAR FETCHED." A robotic voice says
RL-3 is on another side of the room "MY PROGRAMMING DON'T ALLOW ME TO UNDERSTAND WHY A ARMY OF GIRLS SPECIFICALLY."
"I never particularly trusted boys. They are awful and gross."
"...PLAUSIBLE."
"Wait a minute… You not shutdown for the nights?"
"NO, I'M JUST IN A INACTIVE STATE BUT IN CASE A EMERGENCY HAPPEN I HAVE TO STAY ON SO I CAN LISTEN AND RECORD EVERYTHING THAT HAPPEN."
"Oh!" The two girls says
"BY THE WAY, YOUR DRAGON, ISN'T HE INTIMIDATED BY BETHESDA?"
"No?" RED responds
"HE HAVE SEEN THE DRAGON HEAD?"
"THE DRAGON HEAD?!" the waifu collector yells
"You didn't notice it? its pretty big, Beth got a certain skill at killing dragons." Compa says

BASILICOM
LATE MORNING
The makers walks into the Basilicom, its busier than the usual, they head into Chika office
"Hello Chika." Bethesda says while heading inside
Chika is sitting behind her desk
"Hello everyone. Take a seat."
"What we need to do about the concert miss Chika?" Compa asks
"The thing is that we can't be really sure that the concert will be totally safe for the idols, you know why?" Chika says
"Yeah, she must be terrified to get back on a scene right now." Bethesda says
"Not actually that, she fine about it I have seen her this morning. No its rather about possible next assassinations attempt, if the ASIC planed it then I doubt that they are going to give it that easily."
"I see."
"So to prevent that we got Mojang to secure the area of the concert."
"And?… Wait, Mojang works for Leanbox now?"
"Yeah it will sound a bit weird but he was depressed about getting bad reactions of people for some reasons when he was trying to his things, so I contacted him and convinced him to work for us. Remember that I few days ago I told you that we started to hire makers."
"Fair enough, and what's the problem?"
"I fear that It might not be enough, do you have some ideas?"
"Do you have a plan of the concert?"
Chika looks at her computer and she use it to generate on a holographic project on the desk a plan of the area of the concert, there is buildings all around of at stage in the city center
"Thanks." Bethesda says and leans in
"You can see that we posted guards on the top of every buildings, there will be also in the public." Chika says
"Hum… the problem is that guards have to react very quick if they see someone pulling out a firearm, a force field screen on the stage so it will stops bullets in case that happen."
"I note that."
"Also make sure that nobody as weapon in the crowd."
"Its already planed."
"Okay then it should be good."
"Further about the concert… what the candidates will do exactly?"
"I organized the show, there will be various performers, we keep the best for end, 5Pb will sing with the candidates."
"And you told Nepgear about that?" IF asks
"I told her this morning." Chika responds
"This morning? You thought that it would be good to her to have one day to learn?"
"Not one day. 8 hours. She is learning it right now."
"That's even lower! And the others Candidates, are they aware?" Compa says
"Of course! Why they wouldn't be?" Chika responds
"Okay that's a good thing. Where Nepgear is?" IF asks
"In Vert room. She's lucky that I allowed her to sleep there."
"Yeah, you surely wouldn't have let her if I wasn't here." Bethesda responds
"Certainly. So Bethesda, this is taking place at the same area so you know what you have to do now." Chika says
the makers walk to an elevator and Bethesda calls it
"Aren't you suposed to go help with the security of the concert?" IF asks
"I can't say hello before doing so?" Bethesda responds
"You can see her later, you know?"
Bethesda doesen't elaborate further, later, they step in the elevator and it bring them to the top floor they then exit it and walks to Vert room, he knocks on the door
"C-come in!" Nepgear says
Bethesda opens the door and let the girls walks in, Nepgear is sitting on chair reading a text on a paper, they are is welcomed by the hot guys posters on the walls
"I forgot that she was into Yaoi." Bethesda says
"That's surprised me the first time I entered her room." Nepgear says
"Don't worry me too… Anyway… How the repetition going?"
"The decoration could have been better if it was remplaced by girls." RED comments
"…When Chika told us that she wanted the Candidates to participate in a concert, I have a had bad feeling about it. I don't see myself on the top of a stage..." Nepgear says
"Why tough?" IF says
"I just feel embarrassed."
"You gotta get used to it you, you are the successor of Neptune, you will probably do public speeches and after all, the first time I saw you was on a tv show." Bethesda says
"Tv show? Oh right! You mean Nepstation?"
"This should be that." Compa says
"Well It was fine since I always was with Neptune."
"…How much you love your sister?" Bethesda says
"A lot. She's one of the things that I value the most."
"Okay… I think you have some dependency to her."
"You think?"
"Yeah, I think you shouldn't let anyone influential your life or your decisions."
"A bit ironic hearing that form you." IF comments
"We will see what we can do to help Gearsy." Compa says
"Well then good luck girls, I have to place force fields the concert stage. See ya later." Bethesda says
"See ya." The girls responds
Bethesda exit the room and takes the elevator
[Some walk later.]
Bethesda arrive to the area where is the stage, its a big place, no wonder that they decided to put it here. He takes the measurements of the stage
"Hey." Someone says
Bethesda looks and see Mojang, he almost look identically as he last saw him
"Long time no see." Bethesda says seeing the tall man
"Yep. I didin't expect to see you here since the ASIC is still running."
"I know, but its due to special circumstances that I'm back here. So you got hired by Leanbox?"
"I have a special status."
"...Can you explain me further?"
"I'm on an undetermined time contract."
"Oh okay, no need to say more." Bethesda says while returning to make the measurements
"And… What are you doing?"
"Making a burger."
"No I mean, why are you making measurements?"
"...I'm not sure that I should tell you."
"What its about?"
"When we were at Planeptune I suspected you to be secretly supporting the ASIC."
"..." Mojang thinks and then remembers "Oh that? I meant that they had good motives but I never said that I was supporting them."
"Of course. A traitor would never say that he is one."
"No! Really! Before they invaded Planeptune I was pretty neutral about them. Which is not longer the case."
"...Actually I got no actual clues that you are one. And what do you mean before? They were still funded by illegal activities…" Bethesda says
"… Something tells me that you not longer seem to be THAT hateful about them."
"Don't get me wrong, I still hate them, I just not longer want to systematically make them suffer or send them to the graveyard."
"Anyway… So why are you doing the measurements?"
"To place force fields emitters, it will form an invisible wall between the stage and the crowd. The problem is that the smallest emitters have a max range of 2 meters so I will need to have multiple of them so they will connect to each others and increases the range."
Bethesda then gets up and stands next to Mojang
"Get a ladder, I will be back. We will need to place lot of them." Bethesda says
[Some hours of work later…]
"Look like we are done!" Mojang says while looking at the stage
The stage almost exactly looks the same but there is small circular devices placed almost everywhere around it in a rectangular pattern, Bethesda is looking on the screen of a small laptop with a full screen of a software with written on the center of it [DEACTIVATED]
He over the mouse cursor over it and press the text that turn into a [ACTIVATED]
Nothing happened on the stage…
"You are sure this is working?" Mojang asks
"Shot an arrow on the center of the stage."
Mojang walks a few meters back and get a bow and an arrow out of his inventory, he aim at the center of the stage, like if there where someone on it and shots the arrow
The arrow seem to be stopped in mid air when it was about to reach the invisible performers
"See? It just works."
"Looks like. You are sure that gonna stop a bullet?"
"The only thing it can't stop is a laser or a plasma bolt. These weapons are not found everywhere."
Mojang walks back to the stage and get on it
"It won't stop someone with a knife." Mojang comments
"With the amount of people there is going be he will take a whole hour to reach it, enough for the security to stop him." Bethesda responds
"Oh okay."
"Our work is done. I will still call Chika in case."
"Don't worry we are taking care of the surveillance." A voice says
Corvidae shows up to Bethesda with his mask like the first time he saw him
"Oh its you." Bethesda says looking at the man
"You know him?"
"He also works for Leanbox.."
"Corvidae… It doesn't sound like a real name." Mojang says
"Its surely a pseudonym." Bethesda says
"Exactly." Corvidae confirms
"I was wondering, on what service of the Basilicom you work for?" Bethesda asks
"The intelligence one. I'm an expert in concealing my real identity." Corvidae responds
"That's explain the pseudonym." Mojang says
"We are still going to report at the Oracle tough." Bethesda says while starting to walk away
Mojang comes with him
"That's weird… That edgy guy seem to know who I am. Its pretty normal for someone in the Intelligence after all IF knew who I am before we met but this guy really seem to personally know me… Who this is really?" Bethesda thinks
[Back at the Basilicom.]
Mojang and Bethesda enters in Chika office
"We completed our task." Bethesda says
"Good good. This show is gonna be perfect. Here a gift Mojang."
Chika handles a ticket to Mojang, its a concert one, Bethesda lean in to see better
"A ticket for the concert? Isn't a free street concert?"
"Yes. But this ticket will allow you to have a better view of it."
"A VIP place then."
Something picks off Bethesda attention on the ticket "Wait a minute Chika, among the idols that you invited. There is Juniper?"
"Yeah, it would be amazing to have them play."
"The main public of idols are male virgins weebs, they will only like cute girls idols, if is this the main audience at the concert things may go very badly." Bethesda explains
"Nonsense! The public will be a mixed one. They won't complain, my plan is absolutely perfect. And… I don't have orders to takes form you." Chika responds
Bethesda silently leave the room "Damn I forgot how stubborn she was."
Let's hope that Chika is right…
"…I still got a plenty of hours before going to the concert… Oh yeah I could finally put a rocket engine on my war hammer!" Bethesda thinks, he head to the elevator and press the button -4 with written Laboratory next to it.
And the elevator head to the underground part of the Basilicom, he then exit it once he reached his destination, he go to his space... Nothing changed since he left Leanbox, good for him, he sit down and quickly draw shematic of his warhammer he then add at the other side of the hammer a jet engine
"Hello mate." Obsidian says as he stop to him
"Hi Volcanic stone." Bethesda responds
"That's a nickname you got for me?"
"Kinda... I'm not working right now in case you wonder."
"What are you doing here then?"
"Doing some thinkering..."
Obsidian leans in to see better...
[Meanwhile... in Vert room.]
"Okay, i see that you are managing to memorize the the lyrics now?" Compa asks while holding a piece of paper
"..." Nepgear have her eyes cloes
IF and RED both exit the elevator
"You tell her or i do?" RED asks
"Its would be better than i say it."
IF and RED head to Lady green heart room IF sighs before entering the room, Compa quickly notice their entrance
"So where she is?" Compa asks
Nepgear opens her eyes and looks at her two friends coming back, IF and RED sit on some chairs next to compa
"Well... She basically told us that its not her problem and she will perform her way anyway." IF explains
"So Uni don't want to help us?" Nepgear says in deception
IF nods
"Or she's some kind of tsundere? I could go with that!" RED says
"Maybe, but if she wanted to help she didn't had to hiss at us. Everytime we encounter her i feel like she is constently mensutrating or something." IF comments
"Anyway! i think that now i fully remember the lyrics." Nepgear says
"Can you sing it with us?"
RED looks away
"Uh..."
"What is that?" RED asks while pointing on something
The thing that RED is pointing at is a strange looking helmet in the room, on the table next to the flat screen TV
"I think that's a VR headset." IF says
"Uhm... you could use it to train." Compa says
"UH?! No! I-i mean its Vert stuff so i don't think w-we should touch it..."
Bethesda enters the room with Obsidian
"Hello again girls." Bethesda says
"Hello. I never expected that Vert room looked like that." Obsidian says
The girls turns to the two ner... Scientists.
"Oh, hello obsidian." Nepgear says
"You took time to place some forcefields." IF comments
"Its harder than it sounds like... and i had other things to do. So, oh the repetition going?"
"I was about to start... but we were wondering if i should use the VR headset."
Bethesda and Obsidian looks at the machine
"That old rubish thing?"Bethesda says
"Old rubish?" Nepgear responds confused
"This is a old model of the Oculus Ravine, that was 8 years that this thing came out." Obsidian explains
"Oh." The girls says
"You can use it, Vert must use more recent models anyway. if there is Chika or Vert unhappy with it i will explain her why you needed to use it." Bethesda says
"Thanks."
Nepgear turns of the VR headset, its not really unfamiliar to her, its surely not the first time she use this kind of device, in the mean time Obsidian load up a simulation of a typical idol concert, Nepgear spent a few hours until managing to get something right...
The makers applause, Nepgear put off the headset off her head
"Good! Look like you are ready now." IF says
"What hour this is?" Compa asks
IF looks on her phone... at least one of them "Its 7PM." She says
"Should we start getting to the concert place?" Nepgear asks
"Yeah. Let's get some food on the way, i'm starving." RED says while getting up
The candidate and the makers progressively leave the room of the CPU, making sure that everything is in good state before moving out as the night slowy starts to fall on Leanbox...
So... this chapter was initialy posted the 28 and was removed a few days later, i did that because upon re-re reading this chapter i realized that it was shit due to one scene which implies a intercourse beetween two characters and also that the
Upon rethinking i was thinking that it was a very bad idea to include this (if not the 2nd worse i have ever had, the first one being to make some male makers OC's instead of all of them being female, including the protagonist), to be honest the when i finished this chapter i was partially drunk (another reason to don't drink.)
It would be also lying to say that i don't get tired with wirting this fanfiction, i still of course enjoy it but its mainly due to the organisation that requires and how time consuming this can be.
I remplaced that scene by others ones which in my point of view is a way better (at least 40% less shit), how about you guys?
However, i'm still not changing my mind on potential SMUT: its scrapped (and i think its against the rules of the site anyway)
RED backstory was inspired form the one in the very first original game, the difference being that instead of just being a test for IF, this time this is an actual thing that happened (in the context of the fanfic of course). Or maybe not, its RED after all.
The part two of this chapter is coming in the worst case the next week, in the best tomorow.

"Boss, i found the mascot, its deep in that volcano."
"Injuries?"
"None, some monsters tried to attack me but i managed to dodge them, expect one that i put in a disc."
"Okay... So don't destroy it now, i will tell you when you will do it."
"Why? shouldn't we destroy it now? before that cursed Candidate go get it with her friends of biggots... Not Compa tough."
"Let's say... i planed to provoke a massive riot a way later, but now you know what? i got a better idea in mind... If the Candidate manage to somehow get to the Mascot, don't hesitate and throw it into the lava."
