Chapter 2
One Years Later (X778)
One year has passed since he mastered the Rasengan. His Kenjutsu training was going well, but was finding his mother's style to be challenging and the jutsu's she left him were quite dangerous indeed and hasn't worked on them yet without destroying his house. He had finally been able to mature his Sharingan to three Tomoes now and find out that he could cast Genjutsu or illusions on people along with being able to copy attacks as well, but isn't able to do it since no one else possesses chakra so he that ability is somewhat useless now. His speed has increased tenfold as well with his resistance seals at level 10 right now out of 20. He has quite the Ninjutsu arsenal along with sealing as he's now a level 7 in the arts. He still hasn't started working on the Hiraishin yet as he would need to reach level ten to be a seal master. The biggest thing was that he was finally able to make contact with the Kyuubi.
Flashback to a year ago
Naruto was sitting in a lotus position meditating once again trying to get access to his mindscape to meet with the Tailed Beast and tyro to get to know him. Naruto appears inside what looks like a sewer. Looking around he doesn't see anything wondering where he is until he realizes where he's at, but doesn't see anything. He then hears a voice saying.. "Come here boy. Yes that is it. Come closer to me, so we can talk." the voice says. Naruto walks towards the voice when he sees a giant cage. He goes closer to see only red eyes bearing down into him as if he was looking into his very soul.
"So my jailer decides to finally greet me with his presence. I know you've been trying to get here for a few years now. It is nice to finally meet you, Naruto. As you probably know, I'm the Kyuubi No Kitsune, the Nine-Tailed Fox. He says as he releases his killer intent which brings Naruto to his knees as he gasps for air.
'I've never felt anything like this before. It's overwhelming.' He thinks to himself.
"It's nice to finally meet you as well Kyuubi. My name is Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze, but you know that already I assume. I hope we can get along and become friends in the future." Naruto tells him.
"Why do you want to be friends with me? Most people only try using me for my power. Don't you want my power?" He asks his host, wanting to make sure he has a pure heart like his parents, but from what he could sense from his host he is more than like them.
"I want to be friends with you because you are misunderstood. According to what my father said was that you only wanted to be left alone, yet were sought after for your power. I want to be your friend like my parents were because you may have hatred in you, but I want to take that away. I only want your power to be able to protect my guild and my family. I don't want to force your chakra for me to use. I want to work for it and to master it. I want us to be partners and to work together. I also know that Kyuubi is just a title. What is your real name?" Naruto asks him.
"Very interesting boy. Aren't you afraid I will take over your body and use it to hurt everyone you care for? You would be right though. I was good friends with your parents and told them right before I was sealed in you that I would look out for you. I want to train you to use my chakra. I am glad you are not wanting my power for power itself, but to protect what is dear to you. You are a lot like your parents. You have your mother's compassion and her temper, but your father's looks and smarts. They were the kindest people to me that I'd ever met. I'd like to work with you as well, Naruto. As for my name, you're right, Kyuubi is just a title. My name is Kurama. Let's get along, partner." Kurama says to his new partner as Naruto spends another hour or two just talking to him in getting to know more about him.
End of Flashback
Now Naruto is looking at a flier that was given to him by his grandpa to get rid of a demon that's disturbing a town and has been asked to deal with it. Right now he can use up to three tails while maintaining control. The hardest part is getting the fourth tail to come out without being overwhelmed by the malic.
"Well let's get this job underway shall we?" Naruto says to himself. "Okay, so now I'm here, let's go talk to the mayor shall we and see what's going on?"
"Excuse me. I'm from Fairy Tail and I would like to speak to the mayor about the request he sent out. Is he available right now?" He asks the secretary who sees the Fairy Tail symbol on his arm.
"Oh yes. He's in his office right now. Go on in and he'll tell you about the request." The secretary tells him.
"Thank you for your help, miss." He tells her politely.
Naruto walks up to the door and knocks on it to let the mayor know that someone is there. It doesn't take long for someone to say something.
"Come in." He tells him.
"Thank you for coming so quickly my boy. It means a lot to know that this problem will be handled now." He says to him which makes Naruto wonder what type of problem they're dealing with exactly.
"Well what is it that you need me to do exactly?" He asks him.
"Well we have a demon problem and her two siblings who are nothing, but trouble. We need you to go to them and deal with them." The mayor tells him.
"Do you know where they are, so I can deal with it?" He asks him having a bad feeling about the whole thing.
"They're over in the woods at a small house. You handle them and I'll pay double for your services." The mayor says to him.
"I'll take care of it." He says and leaves the office to his own thoughts. "Something doesn't feel right about this whole thing." He says to himself. 'Did you sense something off as well Kurama?' He asks his partner through their link.
'Yes I did. It feels all too familiar a feeling that the other Jinchuriki's would feel from their villagers. We'll have to see when we get there though.' He replies back to his partner.
He heads to the woods to find the house and it takes him about fifteen minutes before he sees a small house in it that didn't look the best of shape. He walks up to the house and knocks on it hoping to get to the bottom of door opens and what he sees makes him curious. The door open to reveal a woman of his age with a hood over her head to cover her face with her arm hidden in the cloak as well, but manages to see something on her arm..
"Who are you and what are you doing here?" She asks since no one sees her or her siblings.
"I'm Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze and I was asked to be here to deal with a demon, but I don't see any demons here. Do you know why the people would refer to you as such when that is clearly not the case here.
"Why do you want to know? You'll just think like everyone else does about me being a demon." She says angrily at him as she remembers what they'd done and said about her.
"Well I can sense demonic energy in your arm and personally that doesn't make you a demon. I would be able to tell if someone is really a demon and it's not based on what someone looks like even if they say they are one, but what they do is what defines who they are." He tells them to assure her.
"How would you know what it's like?! You don't have to worry about people thinking you're a monster or a demon when you have no control over something that happened that wasn't your fault!" She shouts at him.
"Actually I do." He says. The next moment Naruto activates Kurama's chakra where his eyes change into red slits and his fangs enlarge and his whisker marks thicken. "This is how I know what you are going through." His voice now more demonic sounding, surprising the woman not expecting someone else to be like her. He then goes back to normal.
"You really do know how I feel, but how do you deal with it?" She asks begging for an answer and what she should do.
"I find people who are precious to you and prove to everyone that you aren't what they think you are. When I was born I had a demon sealed inside me to save the village from being destroyed. The people would've seen me as the demon itself rather than as me. I've been able to prove them wrong and I know you can do the same thing. Besides, the demon that is sealed inside me is not what everyone thinks he is as well. May I get your names as I want to ask you something." Naruto explains to her.
"My name is Mirajane Strauss, this is my little brother Elfman, and my little sister Lisanna. It's nice to meet someone who is like me. It helps me to know that I'm really not what people think about me or my siblings." Mira tells him.
"It's a pleasure to meet you all. I hope we get along well. What I want to ask if you want to join the guild I am a part Fairy Tail. It's a guild where you can belong to as a family where we look after each other and treat each other like family. They know about my situation and don't treat me any differently and as if I'm me. I know they would treat you like family as well. What do you say?" Naruto asks.
"What do you say, Elfman and Lisanna?" Mira asks.
"I think we should go with Mira-nee. This could be what we would need for a new life." She says with a smile.
"Lisanna is right nee-chan. This sounds like a place we could call home now." Elfman agrees with her sister.
"Well you've got yourselves some new members for the guild. That form you had shown us now that I think about it. You looked more like a fox with a tail." Mira asks him. She would never say out loud when he first came to them, but he was really cute with those whisker marks, but when he went into his one-tailed state form. He looked hot with his feral looks.
"That was my first form. I can go up to three tails without going berserk for now. See, what I have sealed in me is a Nine-Tailed Fox." Naruto tells them much to their surprise.
"Are you able to speak to it?" Mira asks curious if he can speak to it.
"Yes I can and it's a he by the way. He's not just some monster like everyone makes him out to be. He's a living being like us." He explains to them.
"Let's head out then. Meet me at the edge of town since we're heading to Magnolia. I'll meet you, guys there. I'm going to get the reward money from the mayor and then we can get out of here. I won't be long I promise." Naruto tells them with a smile.
Thirty minutes later
They just left the town and the three siblings couldn't be happier to finally be away from that town and excited to become mages. They were enjoying the blondes company, especially Lisanna. She had asked him if he could be her big brother like Elfman and he couldn't say no to her since she was adorable.
"Naruto, can I ask you something?" Lisanna asks nervously.
"Of course Lisanna. What's wrong? You seem nervous about something?" He asks her, concerned for her.
"I was just wondering if I could call you nii-san from now on." Lisanna asks while looking at the floor, not meeting his gaze when he looks at her.
"Of course little Lisanna. I'd love to have a little sister." He says, then pulls her into a hug with a big smile on his face, happy to have someone to call his little sister. "You know if my mother was here today, I know for a fact she'd adore you as her daughter and spoil you all rotten, but Lisanna more than us three." Naruto tells them laughing.
"Really?!" Lisanna asks with stars in her eyes.
"Yes really. I"ll even show you a picture of my parents when we get back. I do have a question for you Mirajane if I may ask." Naruto asks her as he turns towards her.
"Sure I don't see a problem with it, but call me Mira instead, it would be easier that way instead of saying my full name all the time." She tells him which he nods at.
"Can you take the hood off? I would like to see what you look like completely if that's okay Mirajane?" He asks his new friend with a grin.
"I-I suppose I could. She says shyly when she sees him grin and blushes from his smile.
When she removed her hood from her head. Naruto's jaw dropped on the ground when he saw her. She was a beautiful woman with pale skin, deep blue eyes, a purple bow with her hair in a ponytail, going for a goth look with a black skimpy outfit where you can see her stomach, she's wearing short shorts and high boots to complete the outfit. He couldn't imagine how someone could think she's a demon when she just has the power of one. He couldn't keep the blush quite down. It was the same way with Cana when he'd get like this, but now it was the same with Mira.
"Wow. You're gorgeous." He says out loud without thinking until he realizes what he just said and blushes in embarrassment.
"T-Thank you. Not many people say that about me." She says with a blush on being complemented. It was true, not many did say it because of her arm. This was a nice change of pace.
"What are the members of Fairy Tail like?" Elfman asks him, curious about what some of the people are like.
"Well, there's beginning to be more and more kids around our ages. We have a variety of mages ranging from a dragon slayer, an ice-make mage, requip specialist, one who uses card magic who is also my best friend, the rest are much older than us, we have two geezers where one likes to smoke and the other drinks more than he should, but they're cool guys. Our Ace of the guild is Gildarts Clive who uses Crush Magic, but sucks with his control over it ha ha ha. The master is a grandfather to me. He raised me since I was a baby. He has awesome magic known as Titan Magic. We have a lot more members than that, but I'm not as familiar with them. That's pretty much it." He says after listing everyone that he knows of.
"What about you though Naruto-kun?" Mira asks him using the suffix since she finds him attractive and nice since he didn't hate her for her arm.
"I don't use Magic, but another source called Chakra. There are many aspects to uses of it that I have been learning such as Kenjutsu which is swordsmanship, Taijutsu which is hand to hand, Fuinjutsu the art of sealing, Ninjutsu which involves doing hand signs to create attacks or different jutsus whether it's for defense or to escape someone, lastly is Genjutsu which means illusions. I do however possess a form of eye magic, but it's called a Dojutsu which is utilizing eyes such as this." He answers detailing what he's training in currently and he activates his Sharingan to show them in Dojutsu which kind of scares Lisanna and Elfman, but Mira seems drawn to it like hypnotized by it. She can feel the power coming off them as well.
"That's incredible, there's so much you know or are learning right now!" Lisanna says with stars in her eyes at her new brother.
"What can those eyes do exactly?" Mira asks, fascinated by his Sharingan wanting to know more about it.
"Well I can predict movements with them, can copy different jutsus that are used, but can't do anything with that since no one can use Chakra, but me. I can also see chakra outlines and magic within people, lastly everything seems to slow down for me when they're activated where I can predict what'll happen, but it's useless if I can't react accordingly so speed is very important, and lastly if you stare directly into my eyes I can cast illusions over people.
"That's amazing Naruto-nii-chan!" Lisanna shouts at her which makes everyone else laugh at her antics.
They talk for a while longer until they are able to reach Magnolia much to their disappointment. More specifically Naruto and Mira since they had enjoyed getting to know each other better.
Well here we are. You'll love it here and when you're able to start taking missions we can take some together. All four of us. For now I'll take you to jiji and he'll get you set up in the guild okay?" He tells them that they nod their heads. While they go talk to Master Makarov, Naruto goes to his seat at a table with Natsu, Erza, Gray, Cana, a new girl with blue hair wearing glasses reading a book he'd never seen before. 'She must've joined while I was out on the job' He says to himself.
"Hey guys." He says when he gets to their table.
"Hey Naruto, fight me!" Natsu challenges him as usual with a grin, hoping to fight his friend and rival in fire attacks.
"Maybe later okay Natsu. I just got back from a job barely a minute or two ago." He chuckles at his usual antics before he gives him a high five..
"Sup Naruto. How'd the job go?" He asks him as he notices he walked in with three people he had never seen before as they fist bump.
"It went well. It was them wanting me to get rid of a girl who was similar to me, but had the power of the demon. Goes to show how biased people really can be if they can't understand that when a kunai is sealed in a scroll that doesn't make it the kunai. It's the scroll still. Why can't people understand that before judging someone?" He tells them with passion that they shouldn't be surprised given his situation and what they know about him. Sorry, everyone. I got carried away rambling.
"It's fine Naruto. Oh this is Levy McGarden. She recently joined the guild while you were gone." Cana introduces her.
"It's nice to meet you, Levy. I'm Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze." He introduces himself.
"Likewise Naruto. I hope we get along." She says with a smile which he returns.
"What type of Magic do you use, Levy?" Naruto asks his new guildmate.
"I use solid script writing. I also like reading and studying runes." Which makes Naruto excited to find someone who studies an art similar to him.
"You do huh? That's awesome! I study something similar to runes. It's called Fuinjutsu, the art of sealing." Naruto tells her with excitement that he could meet another person who could understand something complex like runes and seals.
"Fuinjutsu? I've never heard of it before. Could you show me some of these seals that you may know? I'm quite curious about it now." Levy asks him.
"Sure. Let me show you something that was in the first level I had to do is create something called a storage scroll. The purpose of it is I am able to store stuff in it so I wouldn't need a bag. I'd apply the seal to my wrist or arm." Naruto explains as he has out a brush, some seal paper and ink. Everyone is watching him draw the seal on the paper with the brush wondering how it will work, especially Levy. You guys see my sword here? Watch what happens when I activate the seal with my sword on it." Naruto tells the group. A puff of smoke appears making everyone but Naruto cough at it. When the smoke clears they find the sword gone with Naruto smirking and pointing to the sword indicating that it's in the seal.
"That's just a basic storage scroll, but it comes in handy when I have too much too carry at a time. I have more complex seals that I've done and even ones that my father had done. One of them would only be for an emergency as a last ditch effort." Naruto explains to everyone, making them wonder what type of seal it is.
"Come on Naruto! It can't be that bad right? What makes it so dangerous to use as a last resort?" Natsu whined wanting to know what it was.
"Although I can see how serious you are about it being dangerous. I am curious about it too." Cana says.
"Only one person knows the name of it and what it does and he even doesn't want me using it. That alone should tell you how serious I'm being about it." Naruto tells them.
"But why would he prevent you from using it at all?" Erza asks him, being confused on why he must never use it despite knowing it's dangerous.
"You guys want to know why it's to never be used and only as if there is no other choice left right? The name of the seal is, "The Reaper Death Seal." He says which makes everyone widen their eyes at this understanding that alone makes it extremely dangerous to use.
"What kind of name is that?! That's a terrifying name for one of those seals of yours Naruto!?" Natsu shouts out when everyone in the guild is now listening to their conversation since anything regarding Naruto's seals makes it worth hearing about.
"The seal involves me summoning the Shinigami and he always wants payments, so my soul is payment for him taking the magic or chakra of something and having the Shinigami take it with my life as payment for him. It's the very same seal that cost my father his life, when he sealed half of Kurama in me and the other half in him when he gave his soul to the Shinigami." Naruto further explained seriously so they understand what happens when someone uses it.
"Naruto! You better never ever use that seal! I can't lose my best friend even if it's a last resort. You are to never use it at any given time. You promise me now!" Cana shouts at him with hot tears running down her face at the thought of losing her best friend would break her heart.
"That's insane Naruto! Why was such a thing created in the first place?!" Gray asks, wanting to know more about it.
"He used it since it would save the village and me in the process. Kurama being the strongest of the Tailed Beasts, no other seal except the one I have and that one could be used against him. My father was already dying during that time as well." Naruto tells them sadly of his father's death.
"Naruto. Promise us you won't use it. I can't lose the brother I've gained this last year. I won't lose someone else dear to me." Erza tells him.
"I know guys. I had no intention of ever using it. I was merely informing you of what it was and what happens when it is used." Naruto says with a smile which they reciprocate back to him.
Naruto was about to say something else when he saw Mira walk out of the guild. Wondering what she's up too follows her until he figures out she's heading towards the edge of town.
"Mira!" Naruto calls out to her. She stops and sees Naruto was the one to stop her.
"Where are you going? You weren't thinking of leaving when you had found a place you could make a home at?" Naruto asks her worried about what she's up to.
"I'm leaving Naruto-kun. My siblings will be well looked out for here and by you as well. I don't belong here because I'm a demon and my arm looks disgusting." She says with a frown as she looks at her arm.
"You know that's not true. You aren't a demon, but only have the power of one. You could learn to control the power like I've been doing with Kurama who's my partner actually. You aren't disgusting and you are still human. Never let anyone tell you otherwise Mira. I know how you feel about it. If I had found out about my circumstances I would've had the same thoughts as you do now. You merely host the power, not the demon itself Mira. Always remember that and that you aren't alone in this. Besides, I've enjoyed your company since we met and would hate to see you go so soon when we just met. I'd like to get to know you more and I'd be willing to help you control your powers too if you want to train together." He says with a smile hoping she decides to stay.
She was about to say something to him when they both heard someone shout Mira's name and they both turned around to see Lisanna and Elfman running at them happily about something. What they show them next makes Mira happy and tear up from her siblings going so far for her.
"Look Mira-nee, Naruto-nii we can do take over magic as well like you sis." Lisanna says as she turns into a little pig while Elfman turns his arm into a giraffe which makes Naruto smile at the scene of the siblings hugging at their new resolve.
"I'd like to take that offer Naruto-kun. I'd appreciate you wanting to train me, but could you also work with my siblings as well? I'm sure they'd like to get stronger as well right?" Mira asks them which made the other two siblings look at Naruto as he nods willing to train them as well as to help them grow stronger.
"I hope you three are ready because I won't go easy on you, but I will not go too far either to hurt any of you, especially my little sister, isn't that right Lisanna?" Naruto asks them which Elfman nods at and Lisanna jumps at him hugging the boy with all she's got which makes him laugh at her antics.
1 year later (X779)
Things had been going well for everyone at Fairy Tail, especially Mira, Lisanna, and Elfman. They had grown accustomed to Fairy Tail and to their antics. Mira and Erza had become rivals and started fights about the randomest things. Nothing really changed for Elfman except he made friends with Natsu, Gray, Cana, and other mages of the guild. Lisanna and Natsu hit it off as well and they found an egg sitting in the forest by itself and when it hatched, it was a little flying blue cat that they had named Happy who was adorable. Naruto and Mira had gotten closer as well and with the other siblings. He told them where he came from and how he was sent here to be safe from the hatred of the village and fear of them. Mira had been able to get closer to Naruto once she knew everything like that. The training had been going well too with all three siblings. Mira had been able to enter her first form of Satan Soul which made her exponentially stronger and faster. Elfman had gotten stronger like his sister, but it would take awhile before he could handle a full take over like Mira could. Lisanna was more of a support than anything he came to find out, so she could do takeovers as well, but nothing too crazy like Mira and what Elfman was wanting to do.
Naruto's training had been going well for himself too. His resistance seals had been changed to level 12 instead of 10. He had learned many jutsus regarding his elemental affinities and even some of the other elements but only one or two for defense mainly. He had mastered his manipulation training to such a degree that he only needed to use one or two or no hand signs for his jutsus which was astonishing for someone his age. This was possible for him though due to his Shadow Clones speeding up the process. He had finally managed to get to level 8 in sealing and was now working towards level 9 now. His Taijutsu for his Hummingbird fighting style had been perfected now since he'd been able to take on a lot of missions which he used to perfect his fighting styles and his Kenjutsu as well. He had gotten good with his mother's sword, but hadn't been able to get to the degree of mastering it since there weren't many swordsmen he could test himself against. He came to realize with his Sharingan that he shouldn't rely on it, but a tool to help him, but to not let it control everything he does to not become dependent on it. The last thing he had been able to accomplish was increasing the number of tails he can use to four before he goes berserk. With four tails, his appearance changes to where his skin starts shedding to where he looks like a miniature fox with white blank eyes.
Now every member of Fairy Tail was in the guildhall were all gathered together waiting for Master Makarov to announce the nominees for the S-class trials for this year hoping that they would get called. Well at least half of them hoped they'd get called. The others were there for support and to find out who'd be called for the excitement.
"Quiet down all of you. I'm going to announce this year's nominees for S-class so listen up as I won't be repeating myself again!" Makarov shotus to everyone with Gildarts and Laxus standing next to him since they were S-class already.
"Erza Scarlet!"
"Mirajane Strauss!"
"Cana Alberona!"
"Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze!" He finishes off everyone.
"We'll be heading to Tenrou Island at the end of the week so everyone will be ready and get plenty of rest for the trials." Makarov tells them as a warning.
Following week later
Everyone gets to Tenrou Island where they are waiting for their first challenge they need to do. Everyone is going to receive a letter of which cave to go through. There you will meet your opponent. The first challenge will be a fight between two of you facing each other. Erza Scarlet picked cave B, Mira picked cave D , Cana picked cave C, and lastly Naruto had cave A by default. Each go through their respective caves. Naruto goes through his cave while admiring the island.
"This island is beautiful. It is no wonder that the First Master chose this as her grave site to be buried. The plants and wildlife here are amazing. I can feel nature and the life energy emitted here as well. I'd love to spend time here just to relax and clear my head of things. Don't you think so, Kurama?" Naruto says to Kurama.
"I'd have to agree with you on that one kit. The island is truly something magnificent to see with my eyes as well." Kurama agreed with him.
Naruto walks in to where he needs to be and sees Gildarts there with his arms crossed.
"Are you my opponent Gildarts?" Naruto asks, narrowing his eyes.
"No I'm not. Your opponent just hasn't gotten here yet. I am simply the judge of this fight. I gotta say kid, I'm curious about your abilities and what you can do. Master speaks highly of what you can do, but even he doesn't know everything, so I'm looking forward to seeing what you can do." Gildarts says to him and as he finishes, Naruto's opponent walks in who happens to be Erza which makes him excited to fight his sister in all but blood.
"This should be interesting, don't you think Erza?" He asks with a smirk at her which she smirks back at him.
"Indeed it will be Naruto. Let's do our best though shall we?" She replies back to him.
"ARe you both ready?" Gildarts asks them and they both nod at him. "Begin!" He yells and jumps back to watch the fight.
Erza quickly changes into her flight armor knowing that Naruto is fast and will need speed and charges at him with her two swords while Naruto pulls out his mother's sword from his back and he's countering her strikes. To Gildarts it looks like a dance is happening between the two. Their strikes are graceful and not wasting any movements with their blades.
Naruto jumps back from her to drop her sword and go through hand signs before saying, "Fire Style" Fireball Jutsu." as a fireball is shot from his mouth and connects with Erza as there's an explosion. It dies down where it shows Erza was in her Flame Empress Armor to counter his fire jutsus.
"That was quite the attack Naruto. Any later and that would've damaged me. It looks like I need to increase my speed when requipping or switching armors." She says with an impressed tone at the heat of the fire used against her.
"I think it's time we both get serious, don't you think Erza?" Naruto asks as he activates his Sharingan.
"You would be right." Erza replies to him knowing they can't keep warming up for long.
Naruto charges at her even faster than before with increased speed and before Erza can react he punches her in the stomach which sends her staggering back until she is able to stop and switching armors to her Heaven's Wheel and generates more swords around her before all the weapons converged on his location with a mental command thinking this would finish it, but with Naruto's Sharingan he is able to track the swords and their trajectories and uses his sword to knock the swords away while he dodges them at the same time. This goes on for another minute until the last of the weapons are now on the floor or stabbed into the ground.
"Come on Erza. Let's finish this with one more move. Shall we sis?" Naruto asks with a smirk.
"I couldn't agree more with you there brother." She replies with a smirk of her own.
Naruto creates a Rasengan while Erza switches again to her best armor known as Adamantine Armor and they charge at each other ending this with one final attack. When they collide there's an explosion and smoke covering the area with Gildarts not able to see the outcome of it yet until the smoke cleared with Erza crashed into the wall unconscious with Naruto still standing having his hand extended still.
"That was a great fight naruto, but now you gotta move on to the First master's grave. From there you'll receive your next challenge. Good luck." Gildarts says while picking up erza and goes to meet up with everyone else.
Naruto heads out to find the First Masters grave which would take him a while since he had no idea where it would be.
First Masters Grave
Makarov is waiting to find out who was the winner of the match between Naruto and Erza with Mirajane who won her match against Cana, but wasn't an easy one for her. He then starts to see a figure walk up to them who happens to be Naruto.
"Ahh Naruto you made it! Good. Now that you're here we can move on to the next part which will be you vs Mira here." Makarov tells them.
"Good luck eh Mira-chan." Naruto says with a smile.
"Yeah good luck. Besides, you're going to need it when I'm through with you Naruto-kun." She tells him with a smirk.
"We'll see about that, Mira-chan." He says to her with a smirk back to her.
"Gildarts will be watching the fight with me being the judge. Good luck to both of you." Makarov says. "Begin!"
"Satan Soul!" Mira shouts and when she transforms into her takeover form her appearance changes to something more revealing. She is now wearing a maroon suit that reveals her stomach area and chest with some arm guards, some designs going over her eye and thighs, with high maroon leggings up to her thighs with her now having a feral look which makes Naruto blush at her revealing outfit. No matter how many times he sees it, he always blushes at it.
""Resistance Seals- KAI!" Naruto shouts to release the weights that were on him which will now make him a lot faster than he was before. "Let's do this Mira-chan!"
Mira rushes him with a right hook to the face when Naruto manages to dodge it by ducking under it with a punch of his own with Mira blocking it with her knee, but still sends her skidding back a bit. Naruto charges at him this time with a Rasengan ready where Mira charges up an attack of her and shoots at him. "Soul Extinction!" where Naruto pushes his attack against hers where there's an explosion from the two attacks. Naruto was sent into the wall creating a small crater from the impact. Mira doesn't waste any time from it and charges at him again hoping to end it quickly, until Naruto shouts at her with some power that pushes her back while Naruto appearance changes as well with him having a bubbly appearance surround his body with ears forming on him with two tails as well coming to life swinging almost hypnotically with his eyes turning red with slits and his fangs become more revealing along with him just looking more feral.
"I hope you're ready for round two Mira-chan because things are about to get even harder from here on out." Naruto says with a more demonic voice.
"Well this just got more interesting don't you think master? I know that he has the fox inside him, but I never expected him to have started using its power at his age. From what you told me, It's hard to use the power since it's so full of hatred." Gildarts says looking intrigued on Naruto's new change and power.
"You're not wrong about that. Normally it would be harder for him, but he has a life that's been filled with love and happiness to counter the hatred. Besides this isn't even his limit for the number of tails he can go. He can go up to four tails, before he loses control. And from what Naruto told me, the fox has been training him to use his power and not taking it from him. They have a bond which makes it easier for him to use that power, but each tail gets harder to control from what I could understand, so he'll have to be careful if he's wanting to be able to use all of his power." Makarov explains to him when he gets a nod at understanding him.
"Let's do this Naruto-kun! Show me what you fox-boy!" She shouts at him and all Naruto does is smirk at her.
He disappears from her view and reappears within a foot of her with a punch ready for her which connects to her stomach making her double over in pain and use the chance to to deliver another punch across the face this time, but Mira reacts in time to avoid the blow, but delivers a kick to the face which he barely dodges in time not expecting her reaction speed to be that precise. They continue hand to hand for a few minutes until they break off not being able to outdo the other in it. Naruto goes through hand signs before saying, Water Style" Water Dragon Jutsu!" a water dragon comes to life out of nowhere and heads towards Mira when she shoots her own attack shouting at him "Soul Extinction!" The attacks collide again this time Naruto's dragon goes right through hers and hits her head on which sends her crashing into the wall this time. She reverts back to normal and is about to hit the ground when Naruto catches her beforehand smiling at his friend proud of her strength with how far she has come along.
"Match set! The winner is Naruto! Well done my boy. You both did well in your matches. All four of you did, but unfortunately there can only be one S-class given. Makarov Dreyar Third Master of Fairy hereby grants Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze the title of S-class.
"Thank you Master." He says, but before he can say anymore he is pulled into a kiss by Mira not expecting something like that and when she pulls away from him his jaw is on the floor not sure what to think just happened.
"Congratulations Naruto-kun. I like you a lot, Naruto-kun. You did a lot for me and my siblings since we met and helped me come to terms with what I am and what I have. You were there for me when I was at my lowest and I wanted to say thank you with that.
Cana seeing this, not happy with what Mira just did, walks over to Naruto as well before pulling him into a kiss as well with him again not expecting it from his best friend.
"I feel the same way as her Naruto-kun. You made me feel welcomed here when we met and have been understanding of me and wanted nothing but the best for me pushing me to be better. I hope you accept me too, because I'm not wanting to be outdone or lose you to anyone.

While this was happening, Gildarts and Makarov were smiling and laughing at Naruto's predicament. "Well Master I gotta say, Naruto is quite the ladies man don't you think?" He says with a smirk before bursting out laughing again.
"Indeed he is. I'm so proud of my grandson for getting two girls like that!" Makarov says while crying tears of joy with some perverted giggling. "We should get going though and head back to the guild now."
They make their way back into Magnolia and when they get to Fairy Tail, they see two people who they haven't met or seen before.
