Chapter 6: Chunin Exam Finals and Invasion
The month went by quickly and Naruto couldn't have been any happier with how his training had gone. Itachi was a slave driver that was for sure and pushed him to the absolute limit. They had gotten to know each other as well during the month training together. Naruto had learned many things about him and his mother who was best friends with his mother. One thing that he mentioned that was important was about a group of S-Ranked Shinobi that would be going after the Jinchuriki in the future.
*Flashback two weeks ago*
"Naruto-kun. Come here for a moment. There's something important I need to discuss with you." Itachi called out.
"What is it Itachi-sensei?" Naruto asked.
"I need to talk to you about a group that I'm apart of. They're a group of all S-Ranked criminals called the Akatsuki. Their purpose is to gather the Jinchuriki's and seal the Tailed Beasts into a statue. I'm telling you this so you can be prepared because they will come for you eventually, but they don't know that I'm here." Itachi explained.
"Hm. That's important alright. I appreciate you telling me this. What about the members themselves? Is there anything you can tell me about any of them?" Naruto asked.
"I will try. They will work in pairs for starters and will be wearing black robes with red clouds on them. This will identify them as Akatsuki for one. There's Deidara of Iwa who uses explosives from clay that he makes with his hands that have mouths on them. His partner is Sasori of the Red Sand. He uses puppetry that he can turn people into. I don't know what kind of puppets he has. My partner is Kisame who used to belong to the land of water. He uses a sword called Samehada who can absorb chakra so Ninjutsu will make things difficult to fight him. He is known as the tailess beasts having the reserves of a tailed beast without being one. Hidan and Kakuzu are next. They are referred too as the immortal zombie duo. Hidan uses a scythe as his weapon and whatever you do don't get cut by him. All he needs is one cut for him to ingest as he can start his ritual. Once he creates his ritual he can inflict pain on himself, but it affects the person who's blood he ingested and not him. This had made him immortal, but he can still be defeated if you can take his head off. Kakuzu is the other immortal. He doesn't get his immortality the same way as Hidan, but he gets his from having more than one heart. He takes the hearts of who he defeats and uses their hearts to keep him alive. Than we have the leader and his partner. Pein is his name that he calls himself. What makes him so dangerous is he has what is called the "Rinnegan". It's the Legendary Dojutsu that the Sharingan and Byakugan derived from. It has similar abilities as them, but different from both as well. His partner is named Konan who uses paper Ninjutsu. If you meet any of them, you call for help immediately. You may be able to handle one of them, but not both of them at the same time." Itachi explained.
"I understand sensei. I will remember that." Naruto said.
"Good. Let's continue than shall we my student? I'll be pushing you more than ever now with you as I want you to unlock the next stage of the Sharingan that is normally forbidden, but with them you'll need every advantage you can get. I hope you're ready" Itachi said with a small smirk that Naruto returned whole heartedly.
*End Flashback*
He hadn't slept well that night thinking about the group now known as the Akatsuki and the different reasons for wanting all the Tailed Beasts aside from power since it's obvious that's part of the reason, but that can't be the only one.
It motivated him to train harder so he would be able to handle any of them. He would also think about letting the Raikage know since he has two Jinchuriki's when the exams are over along with Fuu since she'd want to know too.
His training had gone really well. He had improved his hand sign speed to nearly only needing one or two hand signs or none at all. His speed had also improved as Itachi had proven why he was S-rank. He didn't need the Sharingan to rely on it all the time like others had from what he told Naruto. He had taken him to the Sharingan tablet and explained that if he ever were to awaken his Mangekyou that he would need to read more about it, but Naruto told him how he had a copy already when he was being sent to Earthland since they knew he would awaken the Sharingan along with the Mangekyou. He had taught him some new Fire Jutsu's too and improved his shurikenjutsu as well.
Naruto's look had changed a bit too. He was now wearing a black shirt with red stripes on the ends of the sleeves, black anbu pants, combat boots, along with a black haori with blue flames at the bottom. He had his father's headband strapped to his forearm. He wanted to show Konoha that he really was Minato's son since many had doubted him thinking he was trying to use the name.
"Right now. Neji and Fuu's match should be starting soon. I better hurry so I don't miss it." Naruto said to himself as he left the compound.
Line Break
Naruto appeared in the stands to see Fuu standing over an unconscious Neji, but had some cuts and bruises on her indicating how hard of a fight it had been for her. Naruto looked around the stadium to see Fairy Tail there with Natsu looking ready to jump in the arena to fight, but had Gildarts there keeping him at bay. He spotted Makarov with the other kages. It wasn't just Obito and Makarov who were there, but the Raikage who had his guards being Killer Bee the Eight Tails Jinchuriki and Darui who was the kage of the Land of Lightning and lastly the Kazekage who was the kage of the Land of wind. Naruto narrowed his eyes the Kazekage remembering the conversation that he had with Gaara and the Hokage, the Raikage, and Master Makarov the week before the finals started.
*Flashback*
"Thank you for coming on short notice Lord Kage's. I wanted to discuss something that my father has planned. He plans to start an invasion on Konoha with the help of the Sound Village with Orochimaru being the leader. He doesn't know about my upgraded seal and I won't be showing it to him. He plans on having me release Shukaku in the middle of it as a big contender for them. I'm telling you this so you know that me and my siblings aren't wanting to be a part of it." Gaara said.
"That's troubling to hear. We'll make preparations for the invasion when it happens. Is there anything else we need to know about it?" Obito asked.
"None that I wasn't told. I was mainly told my part really, but expect them to have some extra precautions." Gaara said getting nods from them.
"We appreciate you coming to us with this information. Does anyone else have any questions regarding the invasion?" He asked with no one speaking up.
"This doesn't involve the invasion, but I do have information that concerns all Jinchuriki." Naruto said getting the attention of everyone there especially Makarov and Ay.
"What kind of information?" Ay asked.
"There's a group of S-ranked criminals known as the Akatsuki that plan on capturing the Jinchuriki and plan on sealing the Tailed Beasts inside the Gedo Statue for something that I haven't figured out yet." Naruto told them.
"How do you know of this and is it reliable source?" Ay asked skeptical about it.
"My sensei is part of the group acting as a spy. I trust him with my life." Naruto said.
"May I ask who this sensei of yours is? To be able to infiltrate such a group is impressive." Ay asked.
"Itachi Uchiha. He trained me this past month and has been a spy for Konoha since he was branded as a criminal." Naruto said getting a nod from Obito confirming this.
"If you trust him that much, than I won't argue against it, but if he does something that I don't like. I'll personally take him out." Ay said.
"Understood. He's undercover so he may have to keep the act up. I would like to tell you something in case your Jinchuriki's need to hide somewhere if you'll hear me and Master Makarov out." Naruto said getting a nod and curious expression.
Naruto than goes on to explain how they're from a different dimension and how Naruto was taken there when he was born with Kakashi and Obito being able to cross dimensions like that with their Sharingans.
"If you ever need to send them away to hide or if something happens. Contact Hokage-sama and he'll be able to help you get there. I'd like offer the same to you as well Gaara. I want to protect my fellow Jinchuriki's as they're family to me even if I haven't met them yet." Naruto said.
"I know some on the council would love to get rid of one of them or both of them, but Bee is considered a hero in the village, but Yugito is still not liked by the people, so I may take you up on the offer if something happens. I love her like a daughter, but I care for her safety. Do you know when they plan on going after them?" Ay asked surprising Obito since Ay was considered stubborn about his Shinobi.
"I was told in about three years since they were still needing to get funds. I'd keep a closer eye on the council in case they decide to do anything to Yugito involving the Akatsuki." Naruto said.
"Thank you for this information. I wouldn't be surprised if they would do that if it saved themselves, so I will have to keep an eye on them." Ay said.
"I'm gonna decline your offer. I can't leave my siblings or my village even if the village fears me. I'm not leaving them alone against this threat." Gaara said.
"That's okay. If you change your mind, the offer is always there and your siblings would be welcome to come as well." Naruto said before looking at Ay. "I've read many things about you from my father's notes. He spoke highly of you as his rival in speed." Naruto complimented getting a grin from him.
"Yes. We were rivals as he was the only person who could keep up with my top speed. His damn Hiraishin. He was a proud man and one who would do anything to protect what's important to him." Ay complimented with a grumble.
"If this is all. Then I'll be heading back to the hotel to check on everyone." Ay said leaving the office.
"Us two. Naruto hasn't been able to see Mira-chan or Cana-chan yet, so they're anxious to see him again." Makarov grinned seeing Naruto blush knowing how his girlfriends can be.
*End Flashback*
After that meeting had happened. Makarov and Naruto had explained everything to the members of Fairy Tail so they'd know what to expect and to be prepared for when the invasion happens. They were not expecting to be told that an invasion would be happening, but accepted it and were preparing for it. Natsu was excited to fight people along with Gray and Elfman, but were told by Makarov that they would need to be helping with evacuating everyone out.
"Winner Fuu of Taki!" Genma announced receiving cheers from everyone except for the Hyuuga's who were stumped at seeing their prodigy beaten.
"Great work out there Fuu. You did really well." Mira cheered.
"Thank you Mira-chan. I wonder where Naruto-kun is though? He's gonna miss his match if he doesn't get here soon." Fu said in worry.
"I won't miss my match as I'm here now Fu-chan." Naruto greeted them.
"Naruto-kun!" Fu shouted as she hugged him making him smile as he hugged her back with a blush.
"I'm sorry I missed your match. I came across a black cat and I didn't want bad luck, so I had to take the long way around." Naruto said with Fu, Mira, Erza, and everyone else deadpanning at him before everyone else heard someone sneeze looking to see it was Kakashi.
'I think someone's talking about me or someone joined my cause.' Kakashi said to himself.
"Are you alright my rival?! You should be more careful so the you can be more youthful!" Guy nearly shouted.
"Hmm. Did you say something guy?" Kakashi asked lazily.
"CURSE YOU KAKASHI WITH YOUR HIP ATTITUDE!" Guy shouted as he started crying anime tears with everyone sweat dropping at the scene.
Skip Choji vs Shino. Winner is Shino.
"Can we have Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze and Sasuke Uchiha come down to the arena?" Gemna asked.
Nothing happened for a minute until they saw a familiar Tri-Pronged Kunai land in the middle of the arena making the shinobi gasp remembering their Fourth Hokage using it in the past. All they saw was a red flash when Naruto appeared where the kunai was as he picked it up smirking at the dumb founded crowd before they started cheering.
"He really is Lord Fourth's son!"
"We love you Lord Naruto!"
"I can't believe he knows the Hiraishin like Lord Fourth."
In the Stands
H-He knows Lord Fourth's Hiraishin." Asuma stuttered as his cigarette fell to the ground.
"How'd he teleport like that and what's the Hiraishin?" Sakura asked confused.
"The Hiraishin was the Fourth Hokages technique that ended the third ninja war when he defeated 1,000 Iwa Shinobi in seconds. It allowed him to teleport to where those special kunai were placed as they have a marker on them" Kurenai explained to the genins.
"Even if he has that, Sasuke will still be able to win. He has the Sharingan after all." The fangirl sighed dreamily.
"Oh please. It's not everything. It can be used as a tool, but shouldn't be overly reliant on it. It's what Naruto always told us otherwise it would become a crutch." Mira explained rolling her eyes at the pink haired fangirl.
"We'll have to see that won't we. Sasuke-kun will beat that loser and than we'll know who's better." She fangirled out.
'Oh jeez. Fangirls are the worst.' Mira thought.
"Well he needs to show up to prove him wrong." Mira said.
"You'll see Sasuke-kun beat him. No one can." Sakura shrieked having everyone cover their ears.
In the Stands
"Interesting. I never thought I'd see the famous Hiraishin be used again and he did it with such ease too." Ay commented with a grin.
"He is surprising that's for sure, but he has a lot more to show us than just that. I think we're in for a show." Obito commented with Ay agreeing.
'Damn brat. He's this strong already? I'm going to need to kill him quickly before he can get anymore powerful.' Orochimaru said to himself. "I agree with you."
"Do you know how strong the boy is Makarov?" Ay asked.
"I don't know the full extent of his abilities, so we'll have to wait and see what he can do, but he is one of my best and is very promising." Makarov explained.
"Sasuke hasn't shown up yet and he's taking too long. He'll have to be disqualified." Obito said.
"I agree. If he can't be here on time when he needs to be than he isn't ready to be a Chunin." Ay said not liking how late he was to the match.
"Now. Now. Hokage-Dono. Why don't we give Sasuke a few more minutes?" Orochimaru asked.
"No it wouldn't be fair to the others if I show favoritism when he needs to understand that he needs to on time." Obito said nodding at Genma.
'Damn it.' Orochimaru thought.
Back to arena
Naruto was waiting for Sasuke to show up, but was taking a long time to get here.
"How much longer should we wait? He should've been here by now right?" Naruto asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Yes. By order of Hokage-Sama, I hereby disqualify Sasuke Uchi-." He was interrupted when Kakashi and Sasuke appeared in a swirl of leaves.
"You're lucky. I was about to disqualify your student Kakashi. Next time be on time when you're needed to be." Genma said.
"Sure thing." Kakashi eye smiled disappearing to the stands.
"Ready to lose dobe. I'm going to beat you and take your women who belong to an elite like me." Sasuke said arrogantly with a smirk activating his Sharingan.
"Is that so. We'll see about that won't we?" Naruto said with a neutral expression.
"Both contestants ready?" He asked getting nods from both.
"Begin!" He shouted jumping back to his spot.
Sasuke charges becoming impatient for Naruto to do something and leads with a right hook, but Naruto pushes it to the side and kicks him in the side sending him skidding back. Naruto rushes him as Sasuke does the same trading hits with Naruto not taking any blows, but Naruto is giving them all with Sasuke becoming frustrated at being outdone so he jumps back going through hand signs.
"Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu!" with Naruto doing the same, but his is bigger pushing more chakra into it to be able to overcome his making Sasuke avoid it.
"Is that all the "Mighty Uchiha" have to offer? All that talk and you're barely putting up a fight." Naruto said angering Sasuke.
"Shut up! You're just a loser. I'm from the Uchiha clan I can't be beaten by the likes of you!" Sasuke shouted.
Naruto shakes his head. "We'll see about that." Naruto said disappearing in a flash.
Naruto appears where he kicks him in the air where he throws his kunai past him appearing behind him following with an ax kick into the ground.
Naruto waits for him to get up, but sees his unconscious looking at Genma.
"I don't think he's getting up anytime soon." Naruto said.
"Winner by knockout! Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze!" Genma announced.
The crowd cheered at the display of power from him with some others disappointed in Sasuke's performance.
In the Stands
"No way! Sasuke-kun never loses!" Sakura shrieked making others wince covering their ears.
"Sasuke let Naruto's taunts get to him and his impatience didn't help either. Naruto took advantage of it and ultimately was a lot more prepared than him." Kakashi said.
"Not only that, but Naruto wasn't wasteful in his chakra he only ever used just enough to overpower him and not use more than necessary. That shows restraint shows he can keep a cool head in a situation." Kurenai said.
"I knew Naruto would win. I could tell that Sasuke isn't used to someone being better than him. That does make me wonder, why is he so arrogant and thinks he owns everything and everyone?" Mira asked.
"Sasuke was treated like the "golden child" for years by the villagers and it boosted his ego thinking no one could beat him." Kurenai said disgusted with how he acted towards everyone especially women.
"It wasn't just his attitude that helped in his loss. Naruto has a lot of experience in going out on missions. He's been doing them since he was 10 and mainly now they were either B-rank or A-ranked jobs." Erza said surprising the group.
"Eh?!" The genins shouted.
"How has he been taking missions since he was 10?" Kiba asked.
"Ever since he started training he has been able to take jobs. It started out with D-rank ones around the city, but he improved and proved capable enough to do tougher ones. He's one of our best in his age group yet he doesn't let his strength blind him to know what's important." Mira said with a smile looking at her boyfriend approaching them.
Kage's Booth
"Well that was disappointing of a match. The Uchiha let his opponent anger him which caused mistakes to be made. He also didn't take him seriously either. He isn't ready to become a Chunin." Ay said.
"I couldn't agree more. He rushed in blindly without a plan thinking he would be able to win easily." Obito said disappointingly.
"The Namikaze was smart about his movements and how he played the Uchiha to his favor. Didn't waste any chakra and used a little bit more to overpower him which will tells me he has great control over his elemental manipulation. He's Chunin material." Hiruzen said.
"What about you Makarov?" Obito asked.
" I had no doubt that Naruto would win. I won't be giving my thoughts since I've seen his skills and watched over his training. The Uchiha kid could learn patience and not to belittle his opponents and give in to his anger so quickly." Makarov said with everyone agreeing.
'This is good. This will help push him towards me for power.' "Kazekage" thought to himself.
Gonna skip over majority of the fights.
Fuu beat Neji. Shino beat Choji. Samui beat Shikamaru. Erza beat Temari.
"Can we get Mirajane and Gaara to the arena?" Genma asked.
Mira jumped down while Gaara appeared in a swirl of sand.
"Are both of you ready?" Genma asked getting nods from them. "Begin!" He shouted.
Before anything could happen feathers flew down as a Genjutsu was casted over the entire stadium causing many of the spectators to go unconscious with everyone from Fairy Tail had already helped with the evacuation so they'd be safe with all the seals keeping anyone out of the bunkers that Naruto had set up. The only ones left were Naruto, Mira, Erza, Gildarts, and Makarov and they like Konoha and Ay were prepared for the invasion thanks to Gaara telling them about it.
Naruto and Erza appeared with Mirajane when Kakashi appeared ready to give orders for the invasion.
"We can handle the arena here. I need you three to head over to town, Oto Shinobi are fighting Suna Shinobi once they found out that Orochimaru killed their Kazekage and help them secure the village." Kakashi instructed.
"What about Master Makarov?" Erza asked.
He put a hand on her shoulder getting her attention. "He'll be fine. He's with the Raikage-ama, Sandaime-sama and Godaime-sama along Gildarts reaching them by now." Naruto comforted as she nodded.
"But for now I want you and Mira to head to the academy to protect the students. I know they'd go there, so I'd rather you'd be there to take care of them." Naruto said.
"What about you?" Mira asked.
"I'm going deal with that barrier that's keep everyone out and than help dealing with Orochimaru." He answered getting a nod from her.
"Do be careful though, I'd hate for something to happen to you." Mira said as she kiss his cheek and taking off.
'I'll be careful.' He thought.
Naruto made his way to the rooftops where the fighting was taking place, but as expected he came across the four prison flame barrier keeping everyone out.
"So this is the so called impenetrable barrier I've heard about that if someone touches it they'll get burned." Naruto said getting people's attention.
"Naruto-sama." An anbu stated.
"Don't give me that -sama crap. I'm not a fan of honorifics. What's the situation here?" Naruto asked.
"This barrier is keeping the kages in their leaving them alone to fight Orochimaru. We haven't been able to get in as none of us have anything strong enough to get past it" He said.
"Hmm. I might have something strong enough for it, took me a year to generate enough power for it and another year to actually use with ease. Stand back, this won't be pretty." Naruto said as the anbu that were there stepped back a bit.
Naruto went through hand signs and held his hand up with lightning forming around his hand as clouds started forming with lightning following it not long after like a storm was coming out of nowhere.
"Incredible." One person said.
"To think someone has this kind of control over lightning to generate it out of the sky like this." Another said.
After getting enough of lightning a dragon started forming and when it was done.
"Vanish with the sound of the thunderclap, now begone! KIRIN!" Naruto shouted as the lightning dragon crashed into the barrier shattering it completely letting Naruto jump through to get to them.
The kages a few minutes ago
"So you decided to show yourself Orochimaru? It's about time if you ask me." Ay said.
"I couldn't agree more with my fellow kage, this is where you'll end here." Obito said his Sharingan coming to life.
"Kukuku, so you think, but I have something that can make things more fair." Orochimaru said going through a few hand signs as four coffins came out of the ground startling Obito and Hiruzen.
"Stop them now!" Hiruzen shouted in anger and fear.
It was too late however as the coffins fully rose up and they opened to reveal Hashiram Senju, Tobirama Senju, with the last two surprising everyone even more with them being Naruto's parents Minato Namikaze and Kushina Uzumaki.
"Hiruzen. You got old my student." Tobirama said.
"I did indeed sensei and I'm sorry for what my foolish students actions.
"It seems someone is using my jutsu on us brother." Tobirama said.
"I told you that creating such a thing wouldn't be good, but you didn't listen to me." Hashirama said.
"We can't do anything about it now though Lord First and Lord Second. We've been summoned here for a reason." Minato said seeing Orochimaru.
"You! You brought us back?! How dare you bring us back to attack our own village." Kushina shouted.
"Kukuku what not better than allow the past hokages and the wife the fourth to destroy the village they loved so much. I'm sure Naruto-kun would be happy to see you though." He said with a smirk.
"Naru-chan!?" She shouted.
"How dare you defile the boys parents graves! My grandson has already been through a lot and now with this happening, I'll destroy you myself you monster!" Makarov shouted in anger as his magic power flared.
Before anything else could be said they could see clouds being formed with lightning being generated around someone's hand as the lightning formed a dragon.
"By god. This is incredible, I've never seen anything like it." Minato said in awe.
They saw the dragon get sent towards the barrier colliding with it destroying it instantly as they saw someone jump through.
Present
Naruto approached the group emotionless and cold expression knowing where he's going as he needs to be serious when he sees his parents and they saw him making him go wide-eyed.
"Naru-chan? Is that you?" Kushina asked tears leaking from her eyes as she saw her son, who looked identical to her husband as he smiled sadly at her.
"Hai kaa-chan. I'm happy to see you and tou-san, but I'm sorry it had to be under these circumstances." He replied.
"It's good to see you son. It seems we'll be fighting you. You'll need to use everything you can to ensure victory." Minato said seriously at the end.
"I know tou-san." Naruto said as his Sharingan came to life fully matured, but than it kept spinning until it changed to his mangekyou, which had a small red circle in the middle with a four pointed shuriken.
"The Sharingan and Mangekyou!? My my you have quite the eyes Naruto-kun. Maybe I should've marked you as well knowing you advanced so far already in them." Orochimaru said licking his lips making his skin crawl.
"I had a feeling you were a pedophile, but you're taking this to a whole new level." Naruto smirked seeing him growl at the insult.
"Enough! You know what to do. Kushina, take care of your son as he pushed the last kunai in each of their heads.
"No! I'm so sorry sochi. I don't want to fight you, but I don't have a choice in this." She said as she charged at him with jonin speeds with her sword.
Naruto brought his own sword out which was the same as hers making her smile at him knowing that he uses it to block the attack as she swung it down when Naruto parried the attack to the side redirecting it. Naruto threw leg sweep as she jumped over it, but wasn't ready for a punch to the face and was sent flying. What she didn't notice was the hiraishin seal place on the back of her neck when he punched her.
"You're really good son. You're able to keep up with me at these speeds despite me not going all out." Kushina said with a smile, but it changed to shock when he disappeared in a red flash appearing behind her kicking her in the air and flashing above her as he created a Rasengan instantly and pushing it into her back sending her crashing down to the ground.
Kushina got up like nothing happened which didn't surprise him knowing the technique he's using. Naruto had a seal tag out that he planned to use that had kyuubi's chakra input into it to cancel out the effects so she wouldn't be controlled anymore.
"I see that seal tag you have there, but can't help, but wonder what it's used for." Kushina said curious about it.
"You'll see what it can do soon." Naruto said as he disappeared again except she was ready for it and she sent an uppercut to his stomach making him cough out some blood before she sent another punch that Naruto caught as he pulled her in with a knee to the stomach giving her the moment to apply the seal to her neck and went through hand signs.
"Fuin!" He shouted as it glowed brightly making some who could see it cover their eyes before it disappeared.
Orochimaru saw this and wondered what he did, but didn't have a chance to do anything as Kushina and Naruto appeared before him with their blades in hand as she went for a slash and Naruto followed suit with his own, but Orochimaru ducked under the swings and rolled away from them.
"Kushina!? What are you doing?! You're supposed to follow my commands!" He shouted frustrated and confused.
"Hehe. My son is really brilliant. Apparently he knew about this technique and accounted for you using it and devised a seal to counteract yours giving me my freedom back bitch!" She shouted
Orochimaru cursed under his breath at losing a valuable tool, but wasn't too worried as he still had the others with him, but not before he noticed Minato stopping his attacks with Naruto doing the same thing to him making him getting more upset.
"You boy! What are you doing?! You're ruining everything!" He shouted in anger.
Naruto turned towards him with a smirk pissing him off even more. "Is that so? Is the big bad Orochimaru getting upset at losing this fight so far? Quit being such a crybaby." He said as he still had his Mangekyou eyes on.
"Amaterasu!"
Black flames appeared on him as he was screaming in pain and agony not knowing how to put them out when he spit up another body of his looking a lot more beat up than before.
"What's that?" Kushina asked.
"That would be Amaterasu where he summons black flames that burn for seven days and seven nights unless the caster ends it. It's one of the abilities of the Mangekyou of the Sharingan. To think he has it at such a young age." Minato explained in awe and sadness and would need to ask him about how he got them.
"Our son is amazing Minato-kun. We should help him though since we're free from his clutches." Kushina said.
"We could since Ay, Hiruzen, Obito, and two unknowns are fighting Lord First and Second. I wonder who the last two people are as I've never seen them before." Minato said as she nodded stepping up next to her son with Minato following suit as well glaring at the pale man who was boiling at this point.
"YOU STUPID BRAT! YOU RUINED EVERYTHING! I WILL HAVE YOUR BODY AND HAVE THE SHARINGAN!" He yelled frustrated and furious by this point.
"We'll see about that." Minato said as the three charged as him making him step back in fear of facing the family of three knowing his chances wouldn't be good, but Naruto held his hand up to his parents to stop.
"Let him come at me." Naruto said getting surprised looks from his parents.
"Sochi you can't-"Kushina started to say.
"I'll be fine mother." Naruto said.
Both parents sighed and stepped back with Orochimaru smirking at his chances of getting a new body.
''Tch to think I would be losing to someone like you… but I must say I will enjoy using your body… because it's now mine!'' Orochimaru screamed while shedding his skin revealing a giant white snake that rushed at Naruto.
''Whatever happens keep everyone were they are I'll finish it here." Naruto said to his parents not panicking at all as the other kages showed up.
''I'm trusting you son." Minato said while extending his arms preventing anyone from moving.
Orochimaru rushed towards Naruto and saw that Naruto didn't even move but thought nothing of it since he would soon have the only body he'll ever need. To the shock of everyone Orochimaru succeeded in entering Naruto's body which soon turned pale and his eyes turn snake like.
"Yes I did it this body, this power it's all mine hahaha! I finally have the Sharingan!" Orochimaru laughed in the body of Naruto everyone was ready to jump to him but Minato stopped them.
"Just wait Naruto has a plan just wait he wants to make sure Orochimaru can never return.'' Minato told them making them hesitant for a moment before nodding.
That when they saw Naruto/Orochimaru do some hand signs that no one recognized.
''I don't need anyone anymore with this body I can really achieve immortality…
CURSE MARK REMOVEL!
That when everyone understood what Naruto was doing, he was waiting for Orochimaru to remove the curse mark from everyone else. That when they saw him laugh even harder until they saw him stop and grab his head everyone saw one of his eyes turn back to sky blue.
''What's going on I'm i-in control of th-this body?'' Orochimaru said while grabbing his head in pain.
Everyone saw him fall to his knees and that's when everyone rushed toward him to see if he was okay. Gildarts and Minato jumped in front of Naruto preventing them from coming any closer to him.
''What are you doing get out of the way my son needs me.'' Kushina said in desperation.
''Enough no one is to touch Naruto right now for there is the possibility that Orochimaru can escape via that method.'' Gildarts said making everyone nod if forced.
Inside Naruto's head
"W-What's going on?!" Orochimaru asked fear in his voice.
"That would be me you snake. You will not take over my host and you will die here." Kurama said grinning maniacly at the snake sannin.
"T-The Ky-Kyuubi. No! This can't be happening! I'm Immortal! I won't die like this! Curse you Namikaze!" Orochimaru shouted in anger and disbelief.
The tables had turn rather fast for Orochimaru since now he was the one being sucked in by his own technique. Naruto merely looked on with a bored expression looking at Orochimaru as he sank lower in his own technique.
"Hmm this was easier than I thought it would be letting you take over and you destroying those blasted curse marks man that was to easy… Thanks to you, you yourself will never be able to come back no matter how much anyone tries since you will soon be a part of me… and thanks to Kurama you can't affect me ever." Naruto said while Orochimaru couldn't say anything.
Just when he was second from dying for good he heard Naruto say something.
''Bye, bye Orochimaru your tale ends here too bad I was your opponent." With that Orochimaru of the Sannin was no more.
Real World
Naruto stood up looking at everyone with a passive expression making everyone nervous.
"N-Naruto is that you still?" Kushina asked hopefully.
"Yes it is kaa-chan. I'm here and Orochimaru will never be coming back. You can thank the fuzzball for the help." Naruto smirked seeing everyone's eyes go wide in realization.
"So that was your plan huh? You knew that the Kyuubi would take care of him since he wouldn't be able to take over your body. How'd you know he'd help you though?" Minato asked curiously.
"Oh come tou-san, you should know we're friends and partners since you and kaa-chan were friends with him too." He said making them both nod.
"We need to finish this up now that my foolish student is done for, but what about you Minato and Kushina, why haven't you disappeared yet since the technique should've ended with his death?" Hiruzen asked.
"I'm not sure actually." Minato asked looking at his son for an explanation.
"That would be because of my seal that's on you two. It took control of the jutsu that was used on you both and now I can cancel it whenever." Naruto grinned making everyone looking at him in awe.
"Wow I never thought there would be a counter to the jutsu let alone a seal like that. I'm impressed Naruto-kun. You've surprised us all that's for sure. Let's finish this up as I'm sure you want to catch up with your parents and possibly introduce them to some people." Obito smirked as Naruto blushed knowing who he was referring too.
Minato and Kushina raised their eyebrows in confusion, but shrugged knowing they'll find out later.
It didn't take long for the rest of the Oto shinobi to be taken care of and the sand to surrender with Orochimaru gone and Gaara not releasing his Biju, and now we find Minato and Kushina talking to Naruto when Fuu, Anko, Makarov, and all of Fairy Tail that came with him approached the family.
"Hey Naruto!" Natsu shouted getting their attention.
"Oh hey Natsu. What's up?" Naruto asked.
"I want to fight you! I heard how you fought some strong people and I want to test myself against you." He shouted hitting his fist to his palm with fire igniting.
"Not now flame brain. He just got done with helping in an invasion. Besides you wouldn't last five seconds against him as you are now." Gray responded.
"Oh shut up ice princess. You wanna go!?" Natsu shouted butting heads against him.
Before he could say anything Naruto was tackled by four blurs who began sobbing in his chest.
"What the hell were you thinking putting yourself out there like that?! What if Kurama hadn't been able to help kill him huh?! What than?!" Mira sobbed.
You're an idiot you know that?! Why do you gotta be so reckless?!" Cana shouted hitting his chest with Fuu and Anko of the same mind, but more happiness from Anko.
"T-Thank you for killing the bastard! I can finally be free of him completely!" Anko cried tears of joy.
"What Mira-chan and Cana-chan said you idiot!" Fu cried not able to say anything else.
Minato and Kushina smiled and smirked at the scene with Naruto seeing the looks from his parents and groaning.
"So Naruto-chan, wanna tell us who these ladies are?" Kushina smirked.
Naruto got them off and was able to stand up to face them after promises of dates, kisses, and massages later.
"Well these amazing women are my girlfriends. This is Mira-chan, Cana-chan, Fu-chan, and Anko-chan." He introduced before looking at everyone else making Kushina squeal with Minato smiling.
"Everyone. This here are my parents Minato Namikaze and Kushina Uzumaki." He said getting confused looks and gasps from everyone except for Makarov and Gildarts.
"You're parents?! How are they alive?! You told us that they were dead?" Erza asked in disbelief.
"You can blame the snake-teme for that. He used a forbidden jutsu to bring them back to fight for him against the village. What he didn't expect was to run into me as he didn't know I was the Jinchuriki for Kurama." Naruto said before looking back at his parents.
Levy appeared in front of him with stars in her eyes at the parents.
"Oh I've been wanting to meet you ever since I heard about you. I heard how you both were masters at seals and wanted to ask you so many questions regarding them as Naruto only has so much and with you would know so much more. I'm Levy McGarden a rune specialist." She introduced herself excited to meet them.
'Well she's excited.' Minato chuckled to himself.
"Oh you are just adorable! Tell me are you dating my sochi too? If not I'll beat him for being stupid in passing up. You seem like a very smart girl. Are runes similar to seals?" Kushina squealed at her with how cute she looked.
"Yeah they are, but I also use solid script type magic." Levy blushed at the part about them dating, but smiled.
"Magic?" They asked.
"That's right. You wouldn't know where your son has been. It's quite the story and I'm glad it worked out as it did." Makarov said getting the parents attention.
He than went on to explain their world how they use magic instead of chakra and how Naruto got there with the help of Kakashi and Obito. Learning about his life so far in Fairy Tail.
"Wow. I want to thank all of you for looking after my son. It means a lot knowing that he is safe and has people who can keep him out of trouble." Kushina smirked at the last bit making his girlfriends snicker with his eye twitching.
"I couldn't be any more proud of you my son. You've made some good friends here with them. I wish we could go with you, but it's about time for us to be heading back to the other side don't you think?" Minato said sadly seeing him tear up at losing them again.
Minato pulled him into a hug making him gasp in surprised but returned it quickly with Kushina joining in as everyone else smiled at the scene with the family, but were sad that they were leaving him except this time he got meet them.
"Okay kaa-chan, tou-san. I'll miss you both and do my best to make you proud." Tears were streaming down his cheeks along with his parents.
"You've already made us so proud sochi. Stay on this path and you'll do amazing things in life." Kushina kissed his forehead turning towards his girlfriends.
"Please look after him for us. I trust you girls to keep him safe and out of trouble. I wish I had more time to get to know you all and I know you'll make him happy." Kushina hugged them as they teared up at her words.
"It's time Naruto-kun." Minato said as he nodded with Kushina moving back towards her husband.
"Goodbye." Naruto said.
"Kai!"
The two parents just smiled as they disappeared into dust making him tear up again.
"I'm glad you were able to finally meet your parents my boy. I'm sure you must be relieved to know how they felt about you right?" Makarov asked as he put a hand on his shoulder giving a comforting squeeze.
"Hai. It's something I always wanted and knowing they love me makes me content with everything else in my life. What are we going to do now that the invasion is over?" He asked.
"We will help with the rebuilding of the village and than head home ourselves as it's time to head back." He said as everyone nodded at the plan.
"Are you feeling okay Naruto-kun?" Mira asked concerned for her boyfriend.
"I'm alright. I'm happy I got to meet them and to have you meet them as well and approve of you girls like I had hoped they would." He smiled at them as they blushed remembering how Kushina teased them earlier.
"I'm glad that this whole thing is over now. We have a lot of work to do in rebuilding this place as it took quite amount of damage. Let's get to work!" Makarov shouted at everyone making them scramble to get to work.
Two weeks later
The last two weeks were pretty uneventful as it mainly consisted of rebuilding the village with everyone from Fairy Tail meeting others from the village. It quickly became known that Natsu and Gray would compete and fight at nearly every opportunity making people wonder if they were mentally okay. Makarov had met up with other Shinobi after seeing him fight were interested in his abilities when they saw him use his magic. Naruto had taken each of the girls out on dates and had enjoyed spending time with Fu, Levy, Erza, and Anko. Despite Anko being older than him and being sadistic he found her to be a caring individual who held her friends in high regards since she only had a few. She still hadn't made up her mind in going with him since she didn't want to leave her friends behind and he understood that, not wanting to force her into anything. The same was said for Fu except she had no friends until they met and with Fu coming back with him to Earthland, he knew that she'd be able to make a lot of friends and he could help her with working on her Biju's chakra. He took Levy and Erza on some dates as well and spent time with them finding out that they had started developing feelings for him which he had no problems with as he found both of them to be incredible and beautiful making them blush on more than one occasion.
He had been promoted to Jonin with his own vest, but would keep his father's as a memento to him. Naruto had met up with Yugito, Bee, and Ay and told them about the Akatsuki and the dangers and goals that involved the Jinchuriki's and their Biju. Telling them about the members that he was told by someone who was an inside man without disclosing who it was and assured them that he trusted the source. He told them that if they ever needed to get away and hide, to contact Kakashi and Obito and they'd be able to help them out, by sending them to Earthland as the only way to get there would be through the Mangekyou Sharingan with the ability of Kamui which they were thankful for the information. Now we find everyone at the front gates with Kakashi, Obito, and Hiruzen seeing them off.
"Well it was wonderful getting to meet you again Naruto-kun and to meet you Makarov-dono. Do please keep watching after him as knowing him he'll get into trouble as his mother was the same way." Hiruzen smirked seeing him blush in embarrassment making him laugh.
"The feeling is mutual Hiruzen-dono. You have a great village and I will do my best to keep this brat out of trouble." He smirked as Naruto grumbled about old men.
"I do hope you live your life to the fullest my boy and that you keep making everyone here proud of you as we all are right now. Keep getting stronger to protect your family and friends." He said with a smile getting a nod from him.
"Alright. Is everyone ready?" Obito asked everyone as they all nodded.
"Wait! Hold up whiskers!" Someone shouted getting everyone's attention.
"Yes Anko? What is it?" Naruto asked his friend.
"I'm coming with you!" She grinned as he pulled his face into her chest making him go red at the action.
"What?!" Everyone shouted not expecting that.
"You heard me. I the Sexy and recently taken Anko Miterashi is going with you to Earthland! I already retired as a Shinobi with Lord Fifth when I told him why I wanted to be done. I hope that's okay still." She said nervously at the end.
Naruto merely looked at her with an impassive looking making her squirm uncomfortable under his stare when she was surprised when he pulled her into a kiss making her moan into it.
They separated as Naruto smiled at her.
"The offer is still there Anko-chan and we'd love to have you with us." He said making her grin and smile. A real smile one that not many got to see that often.
"Okay than now we should get going since there are things that Lord Third needs to do still." Obito said with him nodding not looking forward to doing paperwork again.
Obito and Kakashi glanced at each other nodding before activating their Mangekyou's.
"Kamui!"
Everyone including themselves were gone leaving nothing left where everyone was once a minute ago.
And done! I'm sorry it took me so long to get this chapter done. I was stuck on how I wanted to proceed with this invasion as there were many things I wanted to do, but I hope you guys will like it. I'll be getting more involved with this story again. Also I'm sorry about the last story I started getting the names involving brother and sister. I'm probably going to be sticking with the English's instead of Japanese so I don't make the same mistakes again. I'll see you guys later. KillerSSGRed out!
