Chapter 8
The walk back to the guild with thoughts running through everyone's mind, but with the group except for Erza, Gray, and Natsu had a lot of questions that needed to be asked and they were not happy with what they had heard, especially Lisanna since it was her sister's fault for starting it all, but she was glad that there were some who stuck by her nii-san's side and would need to thank them. Now they were at the entrance with Lisanna preparing herself for what was going to happen.
Everyone walked in and they could see everyone was acting like usual with the usual things going on. It was at that point that they heard a scream coming from Mira who was tearing up and seemed to be pointing at something.
"What's wrong?" Elfman asked.
They all followed her gaze and where she was pointing and they all saw Lisanna which stopped all noises as they all didn't know what else to do. Mira was the first one to break out of her stupor as she ran towards her sister that she thought was dead.
"Lisanna!" Mira cried as she went to hug her little sister, but was stopped when Lisanna glared at her, making her stop in her tracks.
"How could you?" Lisanna asked, confusing her and everyone there.
"What do you mean Lisanna? It's me Mira, your sister." Mira said, trying to calm her down, but that seemed to anger her more.
"Oh I know it's you. You have a lot of explaining to do. So, I'll ask again. How could you do what you did to Naruto-nii?" Lisanna asked, causing her to flinch, but also Cana who looked down at the floor.
This question caused an outburst.
"Why are you bringing up that thing?!"
"He's a monster!"
"He doesn't deserve to be a member of this guild!"
These were the many shouts of protest that she received, but she saw the look of regret in her sister's eyes at what she had done. She was getting tired of the insults when she glared at everyone, making them flinch and shut up.
"Shut up everyone! Nii-san didn't kill me! I'm here aren't I?! I can't believe that you would treat him like this! I heard everything about what happened after I disappeared and I'm disappointed and angry with you all! You never gave him a chance to tell his side and didn't believe Elfman-nii when he explained what had happened! It's like you wanted him gone or dead despite what others said. You just accepted what she said without a doubt and just assumed the worst. Especially his "friends and girlfriends!" Lisanna said, referring to Natsu, Gray, Erza, Cana, Mira, and others. "I thought you were all better than that, but apparently not! I thought you were all smarter, but I guess not. Just know that I don't want anything to do with most of you and hope that Naruto-nii forgives you since he never did anything wrong." She revealed getting gasps from them as many of the guild members looked down in shame for what they said and did to Naruto.
"Lisanna. I know I messed up, but.." Mira was cut off.
"Not now Mira. I want nothing to do with you right now. I know you were hurting, but to take it out on your boyfriend who only helped you. I can't believe you would do something like that, but I guess you never really cared about him if you turned on him that quickly." The younger sister said harshly, making Mira tear up.
She wanted to deny it, but the truth is that she did turn everyone against him. She was the cause of all of his pain and self-exile. Oh how she wishes that she could go back in time and redo that whole thing and make things right with him.
She turned towards Cana who flinched and started tearing up as she felt so much regret and knew that she also blamed him like everyone else.
"I'm sorry Naruto-kun. I'm so sorry." She whispered as she silently sobbed with her and Mira leaving the guild in tears.
No one said anything as they never expected Lisanna to ever be angry with them, especially at her sister like this. They had begun to realize that they had been wrong this whole time and now they had lost a friend because of anger and hatred over something that wasn't his fault.
"Oh god what did we do!"
Lisanna ignored what was going on as she wanted to go see specific people along with Wendy and Lucy. They ended up finding who they were looking for and smiled seeing them at their own table.
"It's good to see you guys again." Lisanna smiled at Levy, Fu, and Anko who smiled at her back.
"Lisanna-chan! I missed you so much!" Fu shouted in excitement as she got up from her chair and hugged the white haired young woman. "Thank you for what you said about Naruto-kun. It means a lot to us to hear that." She said, smiling at her.
Anko whistled with an impressed tone. "It's about time that they finally understood that they were wrong, but damn I didn't expect you to lay it on them so thick, especially your sister and I'm impressed." Anko grinned at her.
"I'm just glad that they now know they're wrong, but it'll take a long time before we or Naruto-kun can forgive them, especially Mira, Erza, and Cana. They really hurt him with they're betrayal, but he learned a lot the last two years." Levy told her who nodded at what she was told.
"I can't believe that they would all treat him like that. I always believed that they treated each other like family and would always help each other out, but to find this out makes me feel disgusted and horrible." Lucy said coming into the conversation.
"Yeah well, he didn't deserve it after everything he did for the guild and everyone." Levy said.
"What is Naruto-san like?" Wendy asked wanting to know the blonde shinobi more.
"He's a very kind, caring person who would go through hell itself for those he cares about. I've known him for five years and he is the most selfless person I've ever met and a great lover too." Anko smirked seeing the little dragon slayer blush at the last part.
"Anko!" Levy shouted blushing as well.
"What we know it's true. Don't you remember our vacation to the Akame Resort we stayed at for two weeks? He has some great hands, and the way he used his tongue was out of this world." The purple haired woman said with a smirk as Levy and Fu smirked and giggled pervertedly.
Lucy, Lisanna, Wendy, and Carla blushed at the implication.
"Please stop!" Lisanna yelled in embarrassment not wanting to hear what her brother did, blushing like a tomato that could match Erza's hair.
"Okay okay. I'm done, but he'll always put others before himself. You should talk to him when you see him. He could use more friends." Anko suggested looking at Lucy, eying her up and down.
Lucy felt a shiver go up her spine seeing the look that Anko was giving her wondering if it was a good idea to talk to her.
Lisanna spent the next few hours getting reacquainted with them was getting to know Lucy, Wendy, and Carla. Juvia came by later feeling like she was hurt by what she learned about her beloved Gray. She still cared about him a lot, but now wasn't sure about him anymore and would need to think about it. Lisanna caught up with Makarov too and thanked him for staying with him and even helping him out by supplying him with missions so he could provide for himself.
Levy, Lisanna, Lucy, Anko, Happy, and Fu had gone to Naruto's home where Anko, Fu, and Levy lived to keep it clean and it was their home. What none of them expected was to see Naruto in the living room reading something.
"NARUTO-KUN/NII/SAN!" They all shouted in surprise, but happy to see him there.
Naruto looked to see the group standing nearby with a smile on his face.
"Hey girls, Happy." He didn't expect to get nearly tackled by four of them with Lucy not moving having not seen them move at all and Happy not wanting to get in the way of four girls..
"When did you get here?" Fu asked happily.
"How long have you been back for?" Anko asked.
"We missed you Naruto-kun." Levy smiled at her boyfriend.
"Good to see you again nii-san." Lisanna grinned at him in excitement.
"Well aren't you four so excited? As much as I like this, we seem to have some company with us." He mused when they blushed in embarrassment having forgotten that Lucy and Happy were there.
"It's good to see you again, Lucy-san. You too Happy. I heard you never believed I did anything to Lisanna and for that I am grateful." He said to his fellow blonde and cat with a grin.
"You as well Naruto-san." She smiled at him, but moved she saw Happy flying towards him with tears in his eyes..
"I missed you Naruto! Things weren't the same without you and I'm glad that you're back now." Happy said as he flew at the blonde and clung to him happy to have his friend back.
"I take it if you're here with them and not with the others then you found out everything?" He asked her as he put Happy on his head which she nodded with a frown on her face.
"Yes I did and I'm sorry that you had to go through all of that. I still can't believe that you were treated so horrible." Lucy said with a frown on her face feeling bad for her fellow blonde.
He waved her concern off though. "It's no problem, but thank you. I can't face them otherwise I feel like I'll explode at them, but I can't hide from them forever, especially those three." He spoke with all of them, with Anko nodding knowingly, but Lucy was confused about what three people he was talking about.
"Who are you talking about?" Lucy asked.
"He's referring to my sister, Erza, and Cana. They used to date until that incident happened." Lisanna answered, surprising Lucy.
"You also dated Mira, Erza, AND Cana?! How many girlfriends do you have?!" Lucy asked, her jaw dropping on the ground.
"He had six at one point." Anko smirked seeing Lucy's jaw on the ground in pure shock at the news.
"H-how?!" Was all she could ask.
"Such an amazing man, but it wasn't his idea to have a harem." Levy said, getting the blonde's attention.
"It was Mira and Cana's idea. It was originally them who he got with first and they seem to like the idea of him having multiple girlfriends. In time we fell for him and then the rest is history." Levy explained as Lucy was blushing finding out of Naruto being intimate with multiple women.
Anko saw this and had a smirk on her face. Oh she was going to have fun with this.
"You seem curious about it. Would you want to give it a try?" She asked with a perverted grin on her face.
"W-what?" Lucy asked. She wasn't expecting to be asked something like that and wasn't used to that kind of teasing.
"Anko-chan. Stop teasing the poor girl." Naruto said, flicking her forehead getting a huff from her.
"You're no fun." She murmured, pouting and getting chuckles from the others.
"What were you six up too? I take it Lisanna and Happy had nowhere to go and so they wanted to stay here?" They nodded. "That's fine with me. They can stay as long as they want. What about you Lucy? Are you here just for a visit?" He asked.
"I'm just visiting, but can I stay here for a few days? I don't want to see Natsu since he would barge into my apartment." Lucy said.
That made sense to the blonde male. "I have no problem with that. I can understand not wanting to speak to them after learning things about them. Do you need to go back and get some clothes?" He asked her.
"I do, but I will do that later when I know that Natsu, Gray, or Erza won't show up." Lucy reasoned which got nods from everyone else.
"That's fine with me. I'll leave you five to yourselves. I'm going to get some rest for the night. I have a feeling that tomorrow will be a long day." Naruto said, surprising them.
"Does that mean you're coming back to the guild then?" Fu asked with hope in her voice.
"Yes I am." He smiled at her who nodded excitedly at him.
"What about Erza, Cana, and Mira?" Lisanna asked worriedly.
"It was bound to happen eventually, but know that things won't be easy for them." He said making them happy.
"Good. Don't want to make it easy for them after they broke your heart." Fu said with distaste with the others nodding in agreement, even Lucy was in agreement.
"Very true. You girls have fun. Let's go Happy. I'd like to hear from my favorite cat about what he's been up to for the last two years." Naruto said as Happy was grinning at him.
"Do you have any fish?" Happy asked, making him chuckle, but nodded answering his question as they left to get some sleep for the night.
Next Day
Naruto had many things going through his mind as he along with his lovers, Lucy, and Happy were walking towards the familiar guild hall that he hasn't been to in two years.
How would they react to seeing him? Would they attack him? What about Mira, Erza, and Cana? What will they do when they see him? Those were the many questions he was asking himself. He was shook from these thoughts when they had made it to the guild. He never realized that they had gotten there as he was too into his thoughts.
"Are you ready Naruto-kun?" Levy asked, wanting to make sure he was okay.
"As ready as I'll ever be I suppose." Naruto said seeing them all look at him with concern, but smiled at them in gratitude for their worry. "Let's do this." He said as he opened the doors.
Everyone looked at the door to see Levy, Fu, Anko, Lucy, and Happy who was sitting on top of Naruto's head who they hadn't seen in a long time except for the group who was in Edolas who was looking down in shame with tears threatening to appear on Erza's face.
He had grown a bit in two years and looked even more handsome to the women especially to Erza, Mira, and Cana who couldn't help the blushes appearing on their faces, but glares from his girlfriends stopped it with them gaining sad looks.
No one said a word about him. I mean how could they, most of the guild had treated him like a criminal and had even gone as far as to kick him out. It was revealed though that they had been wrong and that Elfman was telling the truth about what really happened. The only people aside from his girlfriends who believed in him were Master Makarov, Macao, Wakaba, Elfman, Laxus (Who he noticed wasn't anywhere to be seen), his Thunder God Tribe, Gildarts who found out from Makarov telling him.
The newer members that had found out about it had lost respect for many of the guild members, but more specifically his ex-girlfriends and his friends since they were the closest to him.
"It's good to see you again, Naruto. I'm glad to see you're back." Makarov smiled at his grandson, happy to see him again after two years. Sure he'd given him missions ,but that was through his crows.
"You too jiji." He said as hugging the man who raised him.
Naruto looked around the guild and was amazed at the changes he could see already. He heard about the reconstruction to the guild hall, but to see it in person was different. He would need to check it out later.
He could see everyone in the hall and many looked familiar to him with some he hadn't seen before. The ones who he did know were the ones that accused him of killing Lisanna except for the few that stood by him. You could see the look of regret in their eyes for what they did, but none more so than Mira, Cana, and Erza having broken up with him as they never gave him a chance. It was only after Elfman explained things that Mira and Cana realized their mistakes, but the damage was done by then..
"Naruto-kun?" Mira called out walking up to the blonde whom she had loved yet threw to the side without a second thought. She had gotten even more beautiful than he thought was possible, but he couldn't tell her that since he was still upset with her. She was about a foot away from him and wanted to hug and kiss him for all that she could muster, but she knew that it would be a bad idea and didn't deserve to have his had spent two years thinking about her actions and she hated herself for it along with how she wanted to make things right, but didn't know how to go about it.
Cana was looking at her ex with a blush on her face, but her eyes were full of sadness as she stared at the man she loved as much as Mira and Erza did. She had come to regret what she did to him. After her realization she wasn't seen at the guild for days as she stayed at her apartment crying over her foolishness and wished she could've taken it all back. After that, she started drinking more than she had done to help with the guilt and pain. Now that he was back, she wanted nothing more than to apologize to him, but didn't know what to do or if he'd even talk to her.
Erza, much like the others, couldn't help, but look at Naruto with sadness and regret knowing how he would react to them after they found out that everything that happened wasn't true. She cursed herself for not believing in her boyfriend and letting him explain things and giving him a chance. She would like to make things right and be with him again, but it would be a long time before they could get back to where they used to be.
Naruto just stared at Mira as she fidgeted under his stare wondering what's going through his head as he simply held an emotionless gaze on his face.
"Naruto-kun?" Mira called out wanting to hear him say anything.
"Don't use my name with such affection, Mira. You don't have that right anymore after what you did. You hurt me in more ways than possible and that is something I can't forgive. I no longer hold the same love for you or the others like I used to and I'm not sure I could ever come to love you three again like I had before. For now, don't come near me or talk to me and the same goes for Erza and Cana." He told her, walking past her as she fell to her knees in tears at what he said.
Cana and Erza weren't faring any better after what he said, but who could blame him since they had hurt him the most. Others were looking at him in regret while others were looking at him with how harsh he was to her and some would've said something hadn't not been for his glare shutting them up having no room to talk.
There was one person however who was upset seeing his friends cry. He charged at him hoping to get a hit in his face, but Naruto caught his fist with ease, before kneeing him in the stomach making him wince and stumble back holding his stomach gasping for air.
"Was there a reason you attacked me… Natsu?" Naruto asked blankly.
Natsu looked up with some sadness, but was mainly with anger in his eyes. After everything he heard said to Mira, he got upset when he saw them crying. He never liked seeing his friends like that, so he did something expected from him. He attacked the blonde to defend his friends.
"You made them cry, Naruto! I know what we did was wrong, but there was no reason to do that to them!" Natsu said it had no effect on him.
"I was merely stating my thoughts on it. They needed to know the pain I went through and that it will take a long time for me to forgive them and the same goes for you and the others." Naruto said again with no emotion.
Natsu didn't say anything, but attacked him again with a kick to the sides, but was blocked before throwing his own punch to the face, but Natsu dodged to the left, but wasn't prepared for his sudden appearance in his face where he got hit with a series of kicks and punches to the stomach and face before finishing off with elbow to his chest sending him crashing through the wall. All of this was done with the same blank expression on his face.
Naruto turned to the group he was with as Eflman approached him with smiles knowing that Naruto wouldn't do anything to them and was happy when they saw him smile at their approach.
"Eflman it's good to see you. How've you been big guy?" Naruto asked with a genuine smile.
"I've been doing good Naruto. It's good to see you as well and I would like to apologize for not being able to help you when you needed me." Elfman said in sadness.
"It's no trouble at all. You did what you could, but it was up to them to listen or not, so you're not at fault there. I also heard you were able to use a full takeover and I knew you'd be able to do it." He said proud of his friend.
"Yep. Well I gotta go. I have a mission to do and as a man I need to get it done." Elfman said as he, Happy, and Lisanna left the group alone.
"That reminds me. Me, Levy, and Anko have a mission to do today, so we'll be heading out too. Do you want to come with us Lucy-san?" Fu asked her new friend.
"That would be great, thank you." Lucy said leaving with them with just Naruto left as he went to the bar to go get something to drink.
"Good to see you again kid." Gildarts said as Naruto sat next to him with a mug in hand.
"You too old man. Despite everything, it's good to be back here. I missed this place." Naruto said with Gildarts nodding along.
"I know the feeling. I got back from my mission two weeks ago which if you remember correctly is what it was." Gildarts said remembering how he told him of what his mission entailed.
"I remember. How'd it go?" The blonde asked.
"Yeah. It was a failure. The bastard dragon barely had to do anything for this to happen." The older man said, showing his prosthetic arm and leg.
"Damn. Well I'm glad you made it out alive. This one failure won't hurt us much considering what the mission was." Naruto said while taking a drink.
Later That Night
Naruto was walking back to his house after he spent a few hours catching up with some people and meeting the newer members. It was good to catch up with Gildarts and Makarov after so long. They drank and talked about many things. They mentioned the upcoming S-class trials in a month and asked if he was going to be a proctor for it, but he said that he didn't want to help in it with his past close friends and exes not wanting to be around them much. They understood the reason completely and let it be, but if he ever changed his mind to let them know.
He got to know Juvia, Gajeel, and Lily and found out that they had impressive magic with Gajeel being a Dragon Slayer like Natsu and Juvia could turn her body into water along with Lily being an exceed like Happy. They talked about different things with what his "magic" was, but were blown away when they found out he didn't use magic, but something else since he was from another dimension. Naruto and Gajeel agreed to have a spar sometime wanting to test each other's capabilities which came to them agreeing they'd become good friends and rivals even. With Juvia they talked about different things, but one thing that was brought up was his water ninjutsu wanting to see if she could replicate or create different spells based on his techniques after she found out he had an affinity for water.
He also got to know Wendy a little bit, despite Carla's attempts at pushing him away, he came to find out that she was shy and had some confidence problems and he went and talked to Carla about it wanting to find out what they could do to help her knowing it would get herself in danger. They came up with different things and Carla liked him more than most of the members being more tolerant of him. After which they would need to talk to Wendy about it with Naruto being the one to do it since Carla tends to be more blunt about things and that isn't what she wouldn't need regarding it.
He had just made it to his house when he stopped knowing that no one was around them.
"You can come out now." He called out to no one in particular, but he saw three people walk out. They were Mira, Erza, and Cana getting narrowed eyes at them.
"What do you want?" He asked somewhat coldly, not wanting to talk to them.
"We wanted to talk to you about us." Cana said looking at her ex.
"We know we were wrong and want to make it right with you." Erza continued as she looked depressed and hopeful.
"We miss you Naruto-kun. We know we messed up, but we want things to go back to how they used to be." Mira said with tears in the corner of her eyes.
"I already told you that it would take a long time before I'd forgive you, so what makes you think there's an us?" Naruto asked, narrowing his eyes.
"I know it would, but Naru-kun I realized my mistake and how wrong we were about it. It took Elfman to help realize mine and Cana's mistake. We want to get back together and make things right." Mira said.
"There's nothing to talk about. You three tossed me aside after something that I never did and blamed me for what happened to Lisanna, so you can understand why I'm so reluctant to do anything with you three. Now move away from my home. It's been a long day for me and I want to get some sleep." Naruto said looking at his ex-lovers.
Nothing happened for a few minutes until they slowly allowed him to get into his house, but when he was about to pass them, Mira and Erza grabbed his hands, getting his attention.
"Let go." He sternly ordered not looking at them.
"Just know that we aren't done with this. We'll make it right and prove that we won't hurt you again." Erza told him.
"I'm sorry Naru, but we won't give up on you that easily and like Erza said, prove that we won't repeat the same mistakes." Mira said.
"I know it'll take time, but we hope to show you that we're serious about it. And we're so sorry for everything about Naruto-kun." Cana said, brushing her thumb on his arm.
"Are you done?" He asked to see them nod. "Good then let me go." He ordered again and they complied as he walked inside his house and closed the door on them.
As soon as the door closed they had tears in their eyes, but also looks of determination in them. They had a mission to get their lover back and hopefully prove to him that they really are sorry for their actions.
One Month Later
He had been back for a while now and not a lot had happened. Every day he would be challenged by Natsu to a fight as a way to get him to accept him as a friend again, but Naruto would end it quickly not wanting to deal with him longer than necessary. Erza, Cana, and Mira would try to talk to him, but either he would ignore them or one of the girls would tell them off. He didn't want anything to do with them as he was still hurting over their words and actions towards him.
The guild members had also been taking missions nonstop to prepare for the S-class trials and so Lisanna and Mira have been busy handling those. Lisanna had made it clear to her sister that she didn't want much to do with her, but they'd be guildmates still, but nothing else for the time being. Makarov had asked him again if he wanted to help go with them as a proctor, but he refused again, but appreciated the offer. He also knew that Fu and Anko would be helping Makarov with the trials, so he didn't need to be there.
He was now getting ready to see Anko, Fu, and Levy off for the trials. Levy was nominated to participate and he was so proud of her. Others that were nominated were Natsu, Gray, Juvia, Elfman who he wished good luck and that showed how far he'd come along, Mest, Freed, and Cana. He knew about her past, in wanting to become S-class so she could feel like she could reveal herself to her father.
When he found out that Levy's partner was Gajeel he had a "talk" with him, no one heard what was said, but when they came back Gajeel had a pale face and was shaking a little. When everyone looked at Naruto he was simply humming a happy tune like he didn't do anything which scared many of them wondering what he said to the iron dragon slayer..
"Alright Levy-chan I want you to be careful and do your best. I know you can do this and I'm so proud of you for your progress under Anko-chan, and Fu-chan. You'll kick some ass for me okay?" Naruto asked as he held Levy in a hug smiling at his girlfriend who was nervous.
"I'll do my best, but I'm up against some powerful members and there's Erza, Mira, and of course Anko, and Fu too." Levy said, looking nervous about it.
"That's all you can do, but you won't do as well if you're worrying too much. Just do the best you can and no matter what happens I'll always be proud of you." He kissed her lightly not wanting to keep her from the ship.
Naruto let her go to the ship and looked to see Anko and Fu looking at him as if waiting for their turns who rolled his eyes, but nodded. "You two don't go too overboard as proctors, but kick some ass alright?" He asked as he hugged and kissed them. They pulled away and walked off when he saw Lucy who looked nervous.
"Hey Lucy-chan you okay?" He asked, seeing her looking unsure.
"Huh? Oh yes I'm fine Naruto-kun." She said, but he wasn't convinced.
"You look nervous. It's about the trials isn't it?" He asked, when she nodded slowly.
"I know I'm not the one who's been nominated, but I'm worried about not letting my partner down. Even if I didn't want to help her at first, I also don't want her to leave the guild." Lucy responded with a sigh.
"Ahh so, you spoke with Cana huh? I take it she told you her secret about who her dad is? Despite how I feel I do want her to achieve her goal as it's important to her. You'll do fine and I know that you will do fine. Just stay on your toes and be aware of luck." Naruto said, hugging the blonde girl who "eeped" at the hug not expecting it, but had a blush appear on her face liking the warmth he emitted.
She had gotten to know Naruto over the last month and she liked what she had learned about him. It also helped that he was an incredibly handsome and kind man. She would need to talk to Anko, Fu, and Levy about possibly having an interest in him knowing that she'd need to talk to them first.
He saw Happy was near Natsu who after some talking too had opened up a little bit to the pink haired teen not wanting their friendship to be destroyed after knowing each other since he hatched. He was going to be Natsu's partner for the exams. Happy may not have forgiven Natsu completely yet, but it's a start.
The rest of the guild was cheering for the group as they left. Makarov left Macao in charge while they were gone. He would've left Naruto in charge, but given the circumstances, he didn't feel like he should be since he still hadn't forgiven everyone yet and it would be awkward for him.
Next Day
Everyone was now waiting for their return since it's been a day since they left even Naruto was looking forward as he was wondering how Levy had done. He knew she would be okay. Hw wondered how Lucy had done since she was helping Cana out. He also hoped that despite how he felt about his friends that Anko and Fu didn't go too far if they fought any of them. What no one expected was to see someone from the Magic Council appear and one Naruto knew well. It was Lahar who he had worked with in the past.
"Hello Lahar. What brings you to Fairy Tail?" Naruto asked the captain.
"I've come with not good news?" Lahar told the guild.
"What do you mean?" Macao said standing next to Naruto.
"I'm sorry to say, but Tenrou Island was attacked by Acnologia who ended up destroying the island." Lahar said getting gasps from everyone including Naruto whose eyes widened at the news.
"W-What?" Naruto asked not believing what he just heard.
"What about the others?" Macao asked, hoping that there would be some good news of some kind.
"There were no survivors. We searched for hours, but we caught no sign of anyone. I'm sorry." Lahar said leaving the devastated guild.
"Levy-chan, Fu-chan, and Anko-chan." He whispered as tears slid down his cheek.
"Naruto." Macao said sadly as everyone else was struggling with the news of their friends gone.
"I-I was going to propose to them when they got back." The blonde Uzumaki revealed getting sad looks from several people.
One Year Later
A lot had happened since they had been told about the death of his girlfriends and grandfather figure along with his friends. He dedicated his time to taking missions to keep the guild alive and not losing money for it as it was his home. He had become depressed for months and didn't know how to deal with the loss, so he put his time and energy into missions. He had talked to a lot of people and had made peace with them. It wasn't an easy process, but he didn't want to lose anyone else like before and leave on bad terms.
Another thing that happened was his training in his Mangekyou had gone smoother. He could summon more of his Susanoo where he could, it looked a lot more like a person than just a skeleton rib cage and could summon four arms with ease, but he still felt a burning sensation in his eyes. He could use Kamui quicker where he could bring things into his Kamui dimension and send things out of it too. His Amenotejikara he could switch much faster and even increased the range of how far he could switch with something as long as he could see it. His control over Amaterasu had improved where he could now control the black flames and could now coat his weapons in them to add more damage and power to them. His skill over Tsukiyomi had improved where he could control the duration to three days in the world, but it would be three seconds in the real world. He was now 20% blind as of now, so he wasn't too worried about it.
He couldn't use his Mangekyou too often without his illness kicking in and making him worse off. Kurama made it more bearable, but he needed to find a cure to get rid of it permanently. He hadn't had any luck though with it so far. Speaking of Kurama he could use his chakra much easier after syncing with him where he could use it for hours in a day before he would get exhausted.
The last thing that changed was his relationship with Irene and that they were now dating. She had helped him get over his depression and got him to deal with his feelings over losing his girlfriends and friends. After a while of spending time together, Naruto took her out on a date, surprising her since not many thought of her in a romantic way when they'd find out that she could turn into a dragon, but he was different. He didn't care about that and didn't think differently of her. After they went on a few dates, they became a couple and had been together for about three months so far. Naruto introduced Irene to the guild and once they had told them about their relationship, he expected them to think badly of him with it having been not even a year, but they were understanding and happy that he was moving on since they didn't want him to be mourning forever.
Now Naruto was in the guild taking a break from missions and having just got back from visiting Irene for a few days. He along with everyone else that was there noticed a portal or sorts opening with Naruto and several others looking at it with familiarity wondering what Kakashi and Obito needed if they needed something. Kakashi came through, but instead of Obito it was someone else. It was a young woman who had blonde hair that was tied in a braid that went down her mid-back and dark eyes. She had a nice figure with a slender waist, nice, firm ass, and high c-cup breast that was concealed to her bindings. It was Yugito Nii, someone he hadn't seen in six years who was a Jinchuriki like him except she carried the Two Tailed Cat Nibi or Matatabi as he learned from Kurama and wondered what was going on.
"Kakashi? Yugito? What are you two doing here?" Naruto asked, confused.
Kakashi gave an eye smile at seeing his sensei's son after so long, but had a serious expression on his face along with Yugito who also had a look of sadness from what he could sense from her.
"Yugito was attacked by the Akatsuki. She had barely managed to get away from her attackers and get to Konoha and after explaining everything to us, we felt it was best to bring her here." Kakashi explained.
"I couldn't trust anyone except the Raikage since I was basically sold out by the council. They gave me a false mission without his knowledge where I encountered the Akatsuki in a trap they had set up for me. After getting to Konoha and explaining what happened, I contacted the Raikage and he suggested I come here where you were as I'd be safe here." Yugito said in a frustrated tone.
"Sigh. I'm sorry for what happened and we'll do the best we can in welcoming you. Are you here only temporarily, Kakashi or are you here to stay?" He asked his dad's student, but shook his head.
"I can't. I'm needed in the village as the Akatsuki are becoming a major problem. They've already captured the One-Tails, Four Tails, Five-Tails, and Six-Tails Jinchuriki. " Kakashi said, getting wide eyes from Naruto, having not expected this turn of events.
"That serious huh? Don't worry, they won't get her here. I'm not sure what their plans are, though I'd have to talk to Kurama if he'd have any ideas." Naruto said with Kakashi nodding.
"Well good luck to you and it was good to see you again Naruto-kun. Be prepared though, the leader apparently from what Master Jiraiya said has the legendary Rinnegan, so he may with the help of Itachi may find a way here." He warned as he disappeared in a vortex going back to the village leaving the guild along with Yugito to ponder and worry about what could happen in the future.
"I'll miss my home, but I look forward to getting to know everyone here. I was told this was a guild I could join and is that available for me?" She asked with Naruto nodding as she led him over to Macao.
"Hey Master." He smirked seeing him groan at the name. "Yugito here would like to join the guild, can we get her set up?" Naruto asked him.
He looked over at Yugito as if he was analyzing her. "She can join. Welcome to Fairy Tail Yugito." He grinned at her who smiled at the two. "Kinana can you get the stamp, so she can become an official member?" Macao asked the barmaid.
"Sure. Come with me, Yugito." Kinana said with a bright smile on her face as she went to get the stamp. "Where do you want your stamp to be and what color?" She asked.
Hmm." She thought about it for a minute before she came with an idea. "On my arm please and in light blue." She said, rolling up her sleeve.
She pressed the stamp down where the mark appeared smiling at having a new member. "Welcome to the guild." She chirped happily.
"ALRIGHT EVERYONE WE HAVE A NEW MEMBER! LET'S CELEBRATE!" Macao shouted startling Yugito not expecting something like that as everyone shouted and cheered having a new member.
"You'll get used to this. Things get interesting all of the time around here. We like to celebrate and party a lot. You'll come to see this as a regular thing." Naruto said getting a stunned look from the other blonde, but nodded nonetheless.
"Of course. I can't wait to see what life will be like for me here now." Yugito said as they joined the party.
Six Years Later
A lot has happened since Yugito joined Fairy Tail with them becoming partners for missions as they worked really well together. With Yugito's fire and Naruto's wind, it would make their jutsu's that much better. They get along as well along with them meeting each other's Tailed Beast. When Naruto first met Matatabi, he found her to be such a nice demon cat who cares a lot for Yugito who is also a pervert he came to find out.
They became great friends and helped her adjust to the new life in Fairy Tail. A year after joining, she became an official S-class (mage) and helped with the workload of S-class missions since Naruto was handling all of them. It was two years of her being there when they confessed their feelings for each other. Naruto had introduced Yugito to Irene when he mentioned having feelings for her, but wanted her approval before doing anything. Irene and Yugito got along really well having flirty personalities enjoying seeing him squirm and get flustered from their teases. After getting Irene's approval, they started dating and were happy and quite close.
Naruto and Yugito were in the guild hall having just returned from a A-class job since there were no current S-class ones right now having completed them all. Naruto was wearing a black shirt with a black coat that covered his missing arm along with blue pants and black boots. Yugito wore the same clothes as before, having not changed much. She had done more S-class jobs since Naruto couldn't risk it with his eyesight as bad as it was getting.
They were attacked by the Akatsuki by four of their members with them being his teacher Itachi Uchiha, Kisame Hoshigaki, Hidan, and Kakuzu. It was a long and hard fought battle between him and them. He didn't want Yugito taking them on having gone against them already. It was a hard fought battle that lasted a whole day with Naruto using every trick he had learned including his Mangekyou. He first took out Hidan with him being the most annoying having his immortality in not being able to die. He then took out Kakuzu, the other immortal who had five hearts leaving Naruto having to take out all of his hearts to kill him. After that was Itachi and Kisame making things harder since Itachi was his teacher even if he didn't want to be there, Itachi was still a member and had no choice since he couldn't get away and Kisame was considered a tailless Tailed Beast having the chakra reserves of a Tailed Beast with the help of his sword Samehada. By the end of the battle, the entire area was littered with scars, scorched, and craters were scattered throughout the area.
When Yugito came back to Naruto after she woke up, she found him with a jar of Sharingan eyes that Itachi had said to give to someone else that might need them and he was crying for his teacher's death along with Samehada next to him. (Itachi had EMS he gained after killing Sasuke since he was a lost cause to clear the Uchiha name.) What scared her was that he was missing his left arm. The battle cost him nearly all of his eyesight as he was now 75% blind by this point, but he couldn't get them transplanted since the only person he trusted to do it was gone for the time being. That was a year ago and she wasn't back yet. It made his sickness spike up even more with how much he pushed himself where he couldn't do anymore of his stronger techniques and use his Mangekyou without coughing up blood. He couldn't even use any of Kurama's chakra anymore and was now only capable of doing A-class jobs or lower. When Irene heard about his condition, she left Alvarez to be with him as he recovered. He tried to wave off her concern, but when she showed off her aura of a dragon, he paled and immediately changed his mind to let her help him with his recovery. She offered to do the eye transplant, but he denied wanting his grandmother to do it since she had studied on it and was prepared to do it when the time came. She stayed with him for two months before she had to go back. The guild knew about Irene, but not that she was acting as a spy for him, but knew they were married.
They were brought out of their thoughts when the doors were kicked open to see a familiar spiky pink haired dragon slayer who he hadn't seen in seven years. Soon after several other people walked in making him go wide-eyed at this hadn't not seen this coming.
"We're back!" Natsu shouted with a wide grin on his face with everyone else tearing up at seeing the missing group.
"Guys!" Romeo shouted in happiness at seeing his brother figure again after all these years.
"It's been a long time everyone." Macao said smiling with tears on the corner of his eyes looking at everyone.
Fu, Anko, Levy, Mira, Erza, Cana, and Lucy were looking around for Naruto who was smiling at everyone.
"Naruto-kun!" They shouted as they quickly hugged him when he saw them with him returning it.
He may not have the best feelings towards Erza, Cana, and Mira, but he was glad to have them back.
"It's good to have you guys all back. I missed you all." He said as he smiled at them, but noticed they were frowning. "What's wrong?" He asked.
They noticed his arm was covered and his eyes looked really dull.
"Your arm and eyes. What happened to them?" Fu asked softly, trailing her fingers around his eyes in worry.
"It's nothing. I'm fine." He said waving off her concern, but no one was having it.
"No you're not fine. What happened to you?" Anko and Levy asked in a sweet voice and narrowed eyes making him gulp in slight fear.
He may be a badass Shinobi, but women will always be terrifying to him.
"Just tell them Naruto-kun." Yugito said, getting their attention.
"Who are you?" Mira asked, raising her eyebrow.
"Yugito Nii Uzumaki. Jinchuriki for Nibi and Naruto-kun's wife." She said with a smile.
The girls were all speechless with Fu, Levy, and Anko looking at Naruto for confirmation, but he couldn't look them in the eyes. He surprised them with a hug, but welcomed it even if they slightly hesitated.
"I. I thought I'd never see you three again and when I heard what happened, I was devastated. Yugito was one of the few who helped me get back on my feet and after some time, we started dating and later on got married. I hope you can forgive me, but just know that I still love you three." Naruto told them as they teared up knowing how sincere he's being and couldn't help, but not be mad as they would've done the same.
"We forgive you Naruto-kun and we don't blame you for moving on, but what does that mean for us?" Levy asked nervously, getting nods from Anko and Fu.
Naruto looked over at Yugito nervously, but relaxed when he saw her smile and nodded at him, before turning back to the girls.
"If you'll have me still, I'd like to get back to where we were before you all left. I still love you three and would like the chance to pick things up." He said with a nervous smile.
He was tackled to the ground by the three who were crying into his chest even with tears in their eyes at what they'd heard from their lover.
"Yes!" They shouted as he smiled lovingly at them and hugged them closer to him and kissed their foreheads.
The moment was interrupted when they heard something surprising the Tenrou group.
"Daddy! Mommy! You're back!" An unfamiliar voice called out, getting their attention.
They all saw a little girl who looked to be 5 years old. She had blonde hair and blue eyes. She looked a lot like her mother, but the eyes were like his.
"Kushina dear. Did you have fun with Uncle Kurama and Aunt Matatabi?" Yugito asked the little girl who nodded frantically with a giant smile.
"I did and they let me ride on them." The little girl named Kushina said.
"That's great you had a good time." Naruto said with a small smile, but he was also sweating a little seeing their glares at him.
"Naruto-kun? Who is this?" Fu asked with an all too knowing smile on their faces making him sweat a little.
Kushina, not knowing the danger her father was in, looked around innocently. "Hello I'm Kushina. You're looking at daddy like mommy usually does when he's in trouble." Kushina said with a giggle, making him pale further as everyone except for his girlfriends had their jaws on the ground with the former three as they had dark aura's surrounding them with Lucy, Mira, Erza, and Cana looking at Yugito in jealousy.
