Author's Note: Wow. I never expected so many favorites and follows in just one week. Thank you, everyone.

Now, before we begin, I'd like to address a couple of things.

First of all, I've had some people say that Moon Girl is better off paired with Static Shock than with Recess. That is not the point though. I feel like I've had to explain this a hundred times, but I'll say it again: this series here is based on Lilo and Stitch as well as the Disney shows they're crossed over with. That includes Kim Possible, American Dragon, Proud Family, and Recess. There was no Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur in that list. I need a Recess crossover. I hope I made that very clear.

Secondly, I'd like to say give you heads up on my Spider-Man/Proud Family and Moon Girl/Recess fanfics. Since the Disney shows are mainly a series of one-shots, I'm going to have to write them as original, multi-chapter stories that will take place before the Lilo and Stitch episodes they show up in, Lax and Spats.

I hope I made everything clear. Now, let's get on with this fanfic. Any and all comments are welcome.

"Like a true nature child

We were born, born to be wild

We have climbed so high

Never want to diiiiiiiieeeee

Born to be wiiiiiiiiiild

Born to be wiiiiiiiiiild"

Peter's music played across the Milano as it drove out into hyperspace. Despite the music being played, his expression hadn't raised from discontent.

"Is something wrong, Peter Quill?" Drax asked as he suddenly appeared right behind him.

"GEEZ!" Peter gasped jumping out of his seat. "What are you trying to do? Give me a heart attack?"

"Oh. I apologize if I made you soil your pants again." Drax said.

"Don't say it like that, Drax. You just made me spill orlo juice on myself." Peter said. "What did you want anyway?"

"You have been quiet ever since we left Turo." Drax said. "Mantis, Groot, and Gamora were concerned. I don't know about the creepy beast. He's been extra quiet. I am just curious."

Peter let out a soft breath before sitting back down at his seat. "I guess I'm just not looking forward to this job."

"Is it because it involves going back to Earth which you have been avoiding to do for the past thirty years?" Drax asked.

"Yeah. Obviously."

"Bad memories." Mantis commented from her seat as she came in with Gamora and Groot.

"That's an understatement." Peter said. "The last time I was on Earth, my mom died. Exactly one minute later, the Ravagers showed up and abducted me. I joined their ranks, went decades of space adventures, and I haven't looked back."

"That seems improbably to me." Drax said. "Surely, you would have had to turn your head around to look behind you some time in your life."

"No, Drax. He means he never wanted to go back to Earth." Gamora said.

"There's nothing there for me anymore." Peter said. "Why would I go back?"

"Just because there's nothing there now doesn't mean there could be." Mantis advised. "Maybe you can make something there you'd like to come back to."

"Like what? Another family?" Peter asked. "I already have you guys. What else could I ask for?"

Groot placed his wooden hand on Peter's shoulder. "I am Groot."

"I really wish I could understand you, big guy." Peter said. "By the way, where's Rocket? We'll be coming up to Earth any minute."

"I AM GROOOOOOT!"

"What?!" Rocket asked from outside the bridge. He crawled out of the lower levels of the ship and entered before sitting in his seat. "I was working."

"What were you working on?" Gamora asked.

"A special weapon called 'nunya'." Rocket answered.

"Nunya?" Gamora asked.

"'Nunya' business!"

"Wow. Even I saw that one coming." Peter commented. "Anyway, we'll be approaching Earth in three… two… one…. Now!"

Both Peter and Rocket pushed their levers and ended the hyperdrive. Just before them now was the planet Earth, with its vast blue ocean and green lands seen from above.

"So that's the mudball you were born in, huh?" Rocket asked.

"Pretty much." Peter said. "So does anyone want to go to the bathroom first before we…"

"Peter, stop stalling." Gamora interrupted.

"Actually, I do have to go to the bathroom right now." Drax stated.

"Can't you hold it?" Rocket asked.

"I don't think I can. I've been holding it in for an hour and eight minutes."

"Why didn't you go earlier?" Mantis asked.

"I'm trying to go for a personal record." Drax said. "My longest wait was one hour and ten minutes."

"We didn't need to know that, Drax… WHOA!" Peter said before a ship rushed right by.

The speed of the ship was enough to rattle the Milano. Gamora, Mantis, and Groot hung onto to whatever was sturdy nearby to keep from falling. Rocket was rattled so hard, he fell off his seat. Drax stumbled backwards until he fell on the ship's sofa.

"What was that?" Rocket asked as he and everyone else regained their balance.

Gamora looked out the front window and saw the black-and-yellow ship which flew right past. "That ship. That's the one described as Gantu's ship. He must be there."

"All right then." Peter said readying himself to fly. "Let's go catch this fish-faced… HEY!"

Another ship flew past. This one was bigger, red, and white. It chased after Gantu's ship and fired blasters at it.

"I am Groot?"

"I don't know. It looks like a Galactic Federation ship, but I thought there weren't any agents already here." Rocket said.

"Whoever they are, I don't think they're a friend of Gantu's." Peter said. "Let's see if we can help them."

The Milano flew towards the spaceship fight and fired alongside the red-and-white ship. Rocket turned to try and get a good look at the people who were piloting it. One was a blue, fluffy creature and the other was a little, black-haired girl with a red muumuu that had white leaves on it.

"It's a kid and a dog." Rocket commented with a confused expression.

Over at the black ship, Gantu noticed he was taking fire from another ship. He looked back and growled. With a flip of a switch, his ship deployed a laser cannon which was aimed at both ships that were chasing him.

Gantu fired his gun which both ships dodged. He kept firing until he managed to hit the red-and-white ship belonging to the girl and the animal. Their ship drifted into the Milano's path, so Peter and Rocket quickly changed course. Unfortunately, Gantu counted on that, so he fired his gun directly at where the Milano was going to be. Sure enough, it hit causing the Guardians' ship to electrocute and beep wildly like the other ship.

"We just lost all our power!" Rocket cried out.

"That's not all!" Gamora yelled. "I think that Gantu's about to…"

She was cut off by the explosion caused by Gantu's ship going into hyperdrive. The resulting shockwave caused both ships to plummet closer to the lower planet.

"We're gonna crash!" Mantis yelled.

"Chill! I installed my ship with parachutes in case we lose power!" Rocket said as he pressed a few buttons on his chair's arm.

"Since when is this your ship?" Peter asked. "I had this thing way before I met you guys!"

"Considering how often I fix this wreck, it might as well be mine!" Rocket argued.

The parachutes were deployed just in time. Just then, the red-and-white ship had the same idea. Both ships dived down through the night sky and landed in the middle of the Hawaiin island.

"I am Groot."

"Yeah, I know it could've gone better." Rocket said with disdain.

"Peter Quill, how fond were you of that couch in the central room?" Drax asked.

"That's a weird question to ask. Why?" Peter responded.

"Well… when Gantu's ship passed, I fell on it and… Well… Let's just say I no longer have to use the restroom."

"You're disgusting." Gamora commented.

Once they were safely on the ground, the Guardians manually opened up the ship's hanger door and walked outside. They looked around just as the rain began to pour.

"So this is Earth." Mantis said. "It's much… rainier than I expected."

"Don't get used to it." Peter said. "Right now, I want to know who was on the other ship."

"Um… Hello?" a girl's voice called.

The Guardians turned and saw the same ship that landed beside them. The human and blue creature walked out and approached them strangely.

"A kid?" Peter asked. "What? Was there anyone else on the ship with you?"

"Just Stitch." The girl said pointing at the blue creature.

"Eh… Uh… Hi." The one called Stitch greeted.

"I was not aware that Earth children were allowed to fly spaceships that young." Drax said.

"They're not." Peter said. "Kid, what were you doing up there? That guy you were after was dangerous."

"I know how dangerous Gantu is." The girl said. "He tried to take Stitch away some time ago, and now, he's taken Jumba."

"Wait." Rocket said. "You're telling me that blue furball is Experiment 626?"

The girl looked at Rocket with amazement. "Whoa. Is that a talking raccoon?"

"Uh, kid. Ix-nay on the accoon-ray." Peter said.

"What was that supposed to be?" Gamora asked.

"Pig Latin." Peter said.

"How did that sound anything like a pig?" Drax asked.

"Earthlings are so weird." Mantis said.

"I am Groot."

"Who are you guys?" the girl asked.

"Right. Of course." Peter said. "Kid, we're the Guardians of the Galaxy. I'm Peter Quill, but you can call me Star Lord. This is Gamora, Drax, Mantis, Rocket, and…"

"I am Groot."

"He is Groot."

"Nice to meet you. My name's Lilo. Say, can you help us save Jumba?"

"Couldn't if we tried." Rocket said. "That fish-faced jerk short-circuited our power supply just like yours."

"Not only that, but we have no idea where his ship went when it went to hyperdrive." Gamora pointed out.

"Oh. Okay." Lilo said with a frown. "Hey, think you can come with us? Maybe we can find out why Gantu took Jumba."

"So we're just listening to a humie girl?" Rocket asked.

"I am Groot."

"So what if there's a dog running Knowhere? What does that have to do with anything?"

"I am Groot."

"…All right. I see your point."

Lilo and Stitch lead the Guardians to her home, a shack-like home with a metal tower reaching high. Once they were out of the rain, they walked in to find a teen boy sitting on the couch watching TV. He muted it when they came in.

"Lilo. I knew you were okay. And I see you have some new friends."

"Is this your brother?" Peter asked.

"No. This is David. He's going out with my sister." Lilo said before turning to David. "Speaking of which, does Nani know I was out past my bedtime?"

"Yeah. She's out looking for you."

"Something tells me we're going to get an earful just by being here." Rocket said.

"Jumba was kidnapped by Gantu." Lilo informed David.

"The big dummy?"

"Yep."

"Aw, you and Stitch can handle him. And it looks like your new friends can help."

Stitch raised his face up pointing his nose into the air. He sniffed around until he began crawling into the hallway.

"Where is he going?" Mantis asked.

Lilo and the Guardians followed him until they reached the nearest bedroom upstairs. They found him lifting a large chest and shaking it to his ear. He pointed at it.

"Pleakley."

"What?" Peter asked.

"Pleakley. That's another alien that's living with us." Lilo said. "You're saying he's in there?"

Stitch nodded before opening it up. Along with a bunch of assorted objects spilling on the floor, a living, green noodle-man with one eye fell out. He wore a pink shirt with a heart on it and blue shorts. Once he was finally free, he took very deep breaths.

"Oh, gosh! Oh, my! Breathing first, talking second!" He inhaled loudly before finally getting his breath. "OK. I'm ready now. JUMBA! GANTU KIDNAPPED JUMBA!"

"We know." Peter said.

"WAH! Who are you guys?" Pleakley asked.

"We're the guys who are after Gantu." Rocket said.

"That's a talking raccoon." Pleakley commented.

"Watch it, or I'm pulling your one eye out of your socket!" Rocket warned.

"Look, do you know why Gantu was here in the first place?" Gamora asked.

"Actually, yes." Pleakley said before picking up a spherical object covered in a blanket. "He was after this."

Stitch snatched the object and placed it on top of a nearby stool. He pulled the blanket off revealing what was underneath it. It was a blue, mechanical orb with a screen at its base. He then tapped on the screen which lit up a green light.

"Container ready. Select Experiment." A voice said from the device, which then opened up. Inside, there were several different balls the size of marbles circling around and over like a helix. Each ball had a different three-digit number imprinted on it.

"What is it?" Lilo asked.

"It's some of Jumba's evil science. It's more illegal genetic Experiments."

"More?" Peter asked. "There's more like this thing."

"Well, Stitch is number 626." Pleakley said. "These must be the other 625."

"They don't look like him." Lilo pointed out.

"They've obviously been dehydrated for transport."

"So this is what Jacques wants." Rocket said.

"Jacques?" Pleakley asked. "As in Jacques von Hamsterviel? Jumba's old partner? I thought he was dead?"

"Well, no. He's alive." Peter said. "In fact, he's the one who hired Gantu in the first place."

"And it must be because of this." Gamora said. "With an army of Experiments, anyone can take over the galaxy."

"How do they work?" Lilo asked.

"Well, they're dehydrated." Rocket said. "My units on that they need water to be released."

"Sounds like it." Pleakley said closing the computer. "If any of these pods get wet, they would instantly rehydrate into one of the 625 prototype Stitch Experiments, each with its own unique and highly destructive capability."

"Then the answer is simple." Drax said as he took the computer and lifting it overhead. He was about to slam it to the ground.

"Whoa, Drax!" Mantis yelled swiping it out of his head. "What are you doing?"

"Destroying the Experiments." Drax said. "Without them, Dr. Hamsterviel won't take over the galaxy."

"Smashing the computer isn't going to cut it, muscle-head. You'll just be scattering over 600 nearly-indestructible pods all over the room." Rocket said. "Right now, let's see this as an opportunity."

"I am Groot?"

"It's simple. We know that these Experiments each has their own unique power. If we select the right ones, we can take the fight straight to Jacques."

"And save Jumba." Lilo added.

"Yeah. That too."

"Are you out of your mind?" Gamora asked. "We don't know anything about these Experiments. We don't even know if we can control them."

"She's right." Pleakley said taking the computer back. "These Experiments are highly unstable and very dangerous. If those pods were to get wet, it could create mass mayhem and planet-wide panic."

"Nonsense." Drax said. "What we need is to display a show of dominance. Show the Experiments they should fear us."

"Maybe I can help." Mantis said. "With my empathic abilities, I could probably change their moods and…"

"What if it fails?" Gamora asked. "What if you just make them more unstable?"

"I am Groot."

"What? So even you're against me?" Rocket asked.

"I am Groot."

"We're the Guardians of the Galaxy. Surely, we can handle whatever furry thing comes out of there."

Gamora sighed before turning to Peter. "What do you think, Peter? You've been quiet during this whole debate."

Everyone turned their heads to Peter who turned to everyone taking their arguments into account. After some thinking, he sighed and came to a decision.

"Okay. Let's hold off on using the Experiments. Last resort only."

"Finally. Someone's using their head." Gamora said.

"So we're gonna keep these locked up safe and dry." Peakley said as he placed the computer back in the chest. He wrapped it in chains and locked it up rightly. "And as for you, you must never—repeat, never—open that container. Got it?"

"Got it." Lilo said.

"Smish." Stitch said.

"So what do we do now?" Mantis asked.

"We're just going to have to find another way to find and save the doc." Peter said.

While everyone kept talking, Rocket shifted his eyes back to the chained-up chest with the Experiment container inside. With Hamsterviel on his mind, he wasn't going to give up that easily.
