Chapter 37: Expedition Captain James Vs Pmurt
Date: May 18th, 2023
Since we're all still on duel boards, it was time to get things rolling. Paradox is a robotic man with crazy blonde and purple hair, a red mark thing around part of his right eye, light skin, yellow eyes, a chest bones themed sleeveless shirt with dark blue straps and whatnot featuring some buttons, incredibly long dark blue fingerless gloves that go to his elbows where buttoned armbands are, a golden back piece sort of thing, a white and gray double sleeves cape attached at the waist and down secured by a gold clip thing, dark blue pants, and spiked dark navy boots. He is flying in the sky thanks to Malefic Truth Dragon. I sigh: "I don't think beating him in a duel will be enough. If this is anything like in Duel Links, we'll have to fight him separately. All of us will. I see that my counterpart is somehow fast enough to keep up with our duel boards. Well, that certainly makes things more interesting. Regardless, special summoning extra deck monsters should in theory allow one to deal extra damage to Paradox. But we will only have 5 turns before we get blown away so we gotta make our duels count. I think I'll start." That's when we see the life points of Paradox. Soulburner gasps: "Is that 12 million life points?" I sigh again: "Damn it. In that case, I must not use my decoy deck." I have the duel board accelerate greatly. Llenn screams: "Slow it down, slow it down!" "Not until we get close enough." And soon we do and I slow the board down. Malefic Truth Dragon is laying waste to the entire city around Evermore's castle. The guards can only watch helplessly as the dragon destroys more of the city but this is going to end now. One way or another, we're going to stop Paradox. Once I get Llenn and I close enough, I yell: "Paradox! I won't allow you to have free reign over this world. I will duel you. The field has been set! Are you ready?!"
Paradox looks down at me and Llenn and glares: "So another duelist wants to get in the way of my plans?! I'll take you on and when I win, Malefic Truth Dragon will completely destroy you!" "*unison* Let's duel!" "It's my turn! I summon a monster! *Baby Dragon is summoned* I end my turn! Attack me if you dare!" "It's my turn! I will draw a card! I will now begin the creation of a nightmarish composition by first setting the Pendulum scale with these 2 monsters! The readers already know what one of them is! I now summon the 3 other monsters in my hand whose names I don't have to introduce! *time skip* Now that Regnes is on the field, I'm going to deal you some serious pain, Paradox! After all, extra deck monsters deal 3 times the normal damage in Raid Duels like this one! I have to make this count! I will now alter the rules of this battle! Regnes, it's time! I rebuild the Overlay Network! Chaos Xyz Evolution!" "What kind of insane summoning is this?" "*time skip* Now that Regnes has been transformed, you're in even greater danger! I use one of his abilities to take control of Baby Dragon! The nightmare is set! Regnes and Baby Dragon, attack Paradox directly!" 16200 damage is inflicted. "You annoying heroic duelist and knight! You look outdated so I will have to discontinue you when the time is right!" Several turns later, I run out of turns to inflict Paradox during. As a result, even though I have dealt so much damage, I lose. "Prepare to face the power of Malefic Truth Dragon! Prepare to be destroyed like all of duel monsters will soon be once I escape this after I figure out why I was brought here! *Paradox uses his Raid Duel skill to forcibly end the duel with his dragon's power.* And that is why you cannot hope to stop me in doing what I must to save the future by destroying Duel Monsters!" The attack by Malefic Truth Dragon was enough to cause my duel disk to temporarily malfunction. So that's how Raid Duels end in Duel Links if the Raid Boss is defeated.. As if that weren't enough, the blast from the dragon hits me directly.
I pulled out my shield to help reduce the damage but it was one hell of an attack to deal with. Llenn and I along with the duel board were knocked quite far. Soulburner glares at Paradox. "This isn't over! We're all going to fight you one by one to stop you! I will blaze my circuit and even though that won't be enough to stop you, it will still be enough to make a difference! For the future of this world and Duel Monsters, you must be defeated! I've heard all about you and what you tried to do in the past. I can't allow you to destroy the history of a game that so many people love so much! Flame, it's showtime!" "Yes, it is Soulburner. I am generating a data storm." Paradox gasps as a storm of data appears: "What is this power?! Just what am I going up against now?" And so, several duels against Paradox are commenced but he still uses low level monsters for some reason. It's like the difficulty on him wasn't set high enough. But he still sent everyone packing. My armor only took a bit of damage so Llenn and I were okay but the others weren't so okay. Paradox laughs: "No one can stop me! This is the end of all of you! Malefic Truth Dragon, prepare to destroy these fools who dared to interfere in my plans! And eventually, we will find the King of Games and his friends from his future and destroy them all! Revenge will be mine!" I get back up at last and smirk: "We're not done yet. Duel disk, activate Battle Mode. Now that that format actually has a name, things will get a lot more interesting. This will save my Artist monster friends the trouble of teleporting here themselves. The action field Crossover remains in effect and we managed to take about 1 million of your life points away, Paradox!" Paradox has his dragon try to kill me again but my armor only gets damaged a bit more. "Persistent knight! Why don't you just return to your own era and stop interfering?!" "I'm from the modern era, doofus. And I don't take orders from others. Consider this the start of the real battle!"
Paradox groans as Gelina literally recovers next and heals herself and everyone else. Soulburner also activates Battle Mode on his duel disk. Beerus yells: "Forget this dueling stuff! *begins charging Haikai* I'm going to destroy this mortal and his damn dragon myself! Just you watch! Soon, there will be nothing left of him! Soulburner and I swiftly summon as many duel monsters comrades as we can before powering them up to the max and letting them do battle as they see fit. Meanwhile, we both jump into the action. Gelina and my counterpart had helped hold the line for the time being. But now that everyone was fighting, it was all in now. Cluu screams: "Aaaaaaaa! I'm scared! I can't fight or anything! I admit it! Swiftdrawer does all the work! Okay, just please let me survive this battle!" "..." My counterpart's only sounds are the grunts and things they make as they fight in the ongoing battle. But I couldn't focus on that. Most of us could not reach Malefic Truth Dragon on account of the dragon hovering by flapping their wings as Paradox stood on top of them. "Damn it! We can't do anything! We have to bring the dragon down here or get ourselves to higher ground! Easier said than done because we're being chased throughout the city now and our duel boards are trashed! Wait, Crossover is in play. And it's everywhere!" I jumped up onto one of the platforms generated by the activation of that action field. Thanks to that, the others catch on until we're all standing on platforms on level with Paradox. "Why do you people dare to stand in my way?!" "Like hell we'll let you do what you want to do! Pegasus Meteor Punch!" "I will destroy you all! If you want to play it that way, then be my guest. Don't hesitate, attack me! I dare you!"
Seiya's attack does no damage as it slams into Malefic Truth Dragon. And then, Paradox holds up some cards. "You're not the only ones who can bring things to life! Behold! Malefic Paradox Dragon, Malefic Stardust Dragon, Malefic Red Eyes Black Dragon, Malefic Blue Eyes White Dragon, Malefic Cyber End Dragon, and Malefic Rainbow Dragon. Now, it's time to get serious! I activate this! Welcome to Malefic World! You will do nothing against me here! Nothing!" Malefic World transforms Evermore into a more colorful and voidy look. Cluu screams: "What's going on now? Those are a lot of scary dragons!! Aaaa! What can we do against LITERAL DRAGONS?!" Skips sighs: "Why does none of this surprise me?" Roach replies: "Welcome to my life. I had to fight virus monsters all the time with my friends. Oh well, let's get them! They'll face the power of the Roach!" Flame speaks calmly: "I do not think that your level of strength will be able to do anything against those dragons!" "Go, my Malefics! Destroy them all and this whole world with them!" The dragons fly towards us and begin to fire powerful attacks from their mouths. "Look out! Those look powerful!" "Hold on! I have this! Mind Transfer Jutsu!" Somehow, Ino manages to take control of Malefic Red Eyes Black Dragon to attack using them. This holds off the other dragons for about 20 seconds as they focus their efforts on putting an end to Malefic Red Eyes. "No! Not my Malefic! You will pay for taking control of my Malefic! Malefic Paradox Dragon, destroy that girl!" I run in and protect Ino as she returns to her body. My armor is able to withstand the dragon's might. "Hey Paradox, I seem to fit in pretty well for a knight, don't you think? Anyway, I won't let you hurt anyone if I can help it!" "My Malefics! Forget the others! Just destroy that pesky knight who can't help but get in my way!"
The others attack. "Hey time traveling jerk face, you forgot about us!" "Why is it that you humans are so stubborn? Go, my Malefics! Just destroy them all! I don't care anymore! They have been getting in my way for too long!" My counterpart jumps in too. We all use the Crossover platforms to leap around and dodge whatever we can while we head for the dragons. Because of that action field, the dragons are having a hard time flying much higher above our current height above ground. But then, the Artist as well as the Salmangreat monsters get in the way of the dragons. Regnes shouts: "Leave this to us! Go, fight Paradox! We can handle these dragons as they are still duel monsters just like us!" We nod and head toward Paradox who has been forced off Malefic Truth Dragon. He is now on the ground, moving away on his futuristic duel runner. Lucille gets to him using Crossover and her powers and agility. And Llenn shoots at his runner from a distance. "Where do you think you're going?!" Lucille and Llenn are enough to destroy the duel runner, causing Paradox to crash into Evermore's fountain of all things in the center of it. It still maintains it's form despite Malefic World being overlayed with the city. He screams: "Nooooo! This is impossible! I have to succeed to save the future!" The rest of us catch up to him as he struggles to get up from the crash. In fact, he's partially damaged, revealing the fact that he's a robot now. Sparks are flying from his missing right hand and arm. I speak: "Your timeline has been averted. Yusei Fudo was able to erase your era and prevent it from coming to pass." "That's not possible! The only way to save the future is to destroy Duel Monsters!" "Even Antinomy, Aporia, and Z-One came to believe in the future Yusei and his friends would go on to create."
"..They may have failed by giving up on their methods to save the future but I will pursue mine no matter what! Any sacrifice is worth it to save the future!" "Then why don't you at least leave Ni No Kuni alone?" "I'm trapped in this dimension! I remember now.. Those duelists! Judai, the Pharaoh, Yusei! They bested me twice! But it doesn't matter anymore! When I destroy this world, I will find a way to Duel Links or my original dimension and destroy it too! I can't believe I foolishly started believing in those 3 when they bested me in Duel Links! How such I be so naive?!" Beerus tries to destroy Paradox with Haikai but Paradox throws his duel disk in the direction of the blast to take the hit after knocking all his cards out of it. Malefic World vanishes, returning Evermore to its normal state. Well, as normal as a city partially revenged by Malefics can get. Evermore guards rush over and detain Paradox before one of them turns to my counterpart as well as Cluu. "Who are these strange outsiders you have with you?" Cluu sighs. But then, the battle raging above gets louder and fiercer. All of the guards look up along with us. The Malefic Dragons are fighting all the summoned Artist and Salamangreat monsters, a total of 12 in total. It's a battle that is destroying taller things as well as Crossover platforms. The top guard in all of Evermore runs out of Evermore castle. Her name is Edelian. She has a formal guard outfit, brown hair or so, blue eyes I think, and mostly white fur. She looks up too: "We need to evacuate the kingdom. Guards, begin evacuating the kingdom immediately! As his majesty is still missing, it is my responsibility to give orders around here now. Wait a second, who is this person you detained?" Paradox breaks free and begins trying to run away. Llenn shoots him in the leg. "Again, where do you think you're going?!" "Curse you little girl!" Edelian turns to my counterpart and Cluu: "You two, I need you to detain this robot for us. We have the evacuate the city immediately. Can you handle that?"
Cluu sighs again: "Looks like we have no choice.. Why must we always do errands for other people? It's so annoying! Hey, Royal Protector! Why are you grinning like that?! Do you think that is funny?! Arrrrrg!" Edelian then turns to us: "And who are you people?" Beerus groans: "We're here from other universes to help deal with the problems that your planet shouldn't even be facing. Don't ask, it's complicated and we don't have the time nor do I have the patience to explain. We're not here to cause trouble, we're here to stop trouble." "I don't trust you people." Seiya speaks up: "Don't worry, what he said is true. As a knight of Athena, it is my duty to protect Athena and save worlds that are in danger." Skips adds: "You don't have to trust us. As long as we don't cause any trouble, there shouldn't be any need for you to question us. Look, we've all been through our own challenges in life. Can you just let us show you we aren't the bad guys here?" "I suppose it wouldn't hurt to give you the benefit of the doubt. However, if you step out of line.. *turns to Cluu and my counterpart* They have to deal with you." Paradox gets back up and starts trying to run away again right as Malefic Blue Eyes White Dragon is completely destroyed. Cluu yells: "Hey, where do you think you're going?! We have to stop him!" Edelian starts running towards some where people are: "I'm counting on you! I must make sure the guards evacuate all of the people to the Eastern and Southern Heartlands. It will be safe for them in those areas. Good luck! And strangers, don't cause any trouble!" Paradox is restrained by Skips with ease. However, something else happens too. A huge corrupted dragon which is the corrupted form of Natrum, the World Keeper of Earth appears over Evermore and begins attacking.
However, that's when Pmurt Nedib appears with a twisted grin on his face and cards in his hand. He reveals one of them. "Let the conquest begin! I activate Fusion!" I sweat heavily: "This is really bad! That's the Fusion spell card from the Sevens timeline!" "I fuse myself with these numbers in my hand, Natrum, Paradox, and all these Malefic Dragons in order to create my most powerful and divine form yet! I am your superior god, freaks! And you will obey me or you will be exterminated!" A different looking fusion portal appears, sucking in all of those mentioned. Seconds later, a version of Paradox is revealed with wings that are a mix of Natrum's as well as that of the Malefics'. Pmurt laughs: "I am now Paradox Natrum Malefic Pmurt! And you will bow before me if you wish to have a second chance, wokeist freaks! Just give up wokeism and you will be sparred! Don't defy me any longer! Serve me, worship me, battle with me!" Beerus groans again: "Why the hell would I, a God of Destruction want to serve you?! I could have easily destroyed this planet by myself if I so chose to!" "I know that but you are still a wokeist freak! I won't spar you even if you submit though because I want your power! I will be the only god left when this is finally over! So many failures, disappointments, and more! I'm tired of you freaks always standing in my way! For the better part of 2 years, I have had to deal with almost everything I try be foiled! But soon, I will be the sole god left in all of existence! All will come to worship me but if they are inferior or refuse to, I will make sure they get exterminated! Every hero in every timeline will die! That means all of you because I just changed my mind! Even if you promise to give up the fight and serve me, I won't spare any of you! It's time for me to become supreme with no one in my way! America will dominate every universe, dimension, reality, multiverse, realm, and timeline!"
Pmurt charges a huge energy blast with his hands and fires it upon us. I scream: "Not this time! You won't kill us that easily! I'm taking the hit with my armor! Damn you, Pmurt! All you do is make life worse for everyone else and as a knight, I cannot allow your tyranny to continue no matter what world it's happening in! I don't know how you got Fusion but that doesn't matter to me. What matters to me is defeating you once again and trying my best to help kill you! You're so twisted and cruel that the pain that would be caused trying to reform you just would be too great a price!" Regnes interferes with my interference. "Swiftdrawer. No, I'll take the hit before you do." "Regnes! You can be destroyed by him because numbers were merged into him, you know?!" "Yes I do but.. My friend, you have to keep fighting. All of you have to keep fighting. Artists and Salamangreats, we have to endure the force of Pmurt's insane stolen powers for now to ensure the others have a better shot of winning this battle today." The other duel monsters nod and also get in between us and Pmurt. "You freaks! Monsters like you should be in service to me! I should have conquered the Duel Monsters Spirit World long ago! Then, all duel monsters would have had to obey me! But no, I was too focused on conquering other worlds and failing almost every single time! But no matter, all of you are going to die today! Once you're destroyed, you'll be gone forever!" As they all focused on defending us, we started putting our heads together about how we could even possibly stand a chance against Pmurt in his newest form. I form a huge Kamehameha, ready to release at any moment but I knew it would barely do a thing if anything at all. After about half an hour, the duel monsters are all defeated. "Finally! Those annoying monsters are gone forever! Now I can exterminate you freaks as well!" "KAAAAAAAAAAAME HAAAAAAMEEEEEE HAAAAAAA!" My huge energy wave barely puts a dent in our foe. He laughs: "Isn't that just sad?! Your friends are too busy dealing with my forces in Miitopia to come help!"
I stare at him: "I admit it, I'm often very afraid but I won't back down from you. None of us will. We'll fight with or without anyone's help. We have no choice because if we surrender, you will just kill us anyway. But if we fight back, we can at least stall you long enough for someone to come help or at least weaken you or waste your time. All of that is incredibly valuable to us at this point. Pmurt, you will not kill us so easily. We will fight you until we have absolutely nothing left to give. Anatomical Disruption!" "That's right! Burn my cosmo! Burn to your very peak! Pegasus Meteor Punch!" "You mortal posing as a god will be destroyed! Haikai!" "I'll kill you even more brutally than I killed Pito in GGO! I'll make you pay for what you've done to others in your life! Just you wait! Just you wait!" "CEO jerk man, now it's time for you to really face the Roach! *Roach makes his fist as big as possible and goes in for an attack.* Take this, evil CEO!!" "Swiftdrawer, hurry! Join the others in fighting! Let's go!" My counterpart begins perform a series of attacks while being backed up by a fire attribute familiar. "Hey Flame, let's do this!" "I'm right behind you, Soulburner!" "*unison* Burning Data Storm Punch!" "Let's take care of this foe as quickly as possible! Enchant Deadly Poison! Sonic Blow!" "I cast Elemental Burst! Feel the power of a once forbidden spell in the Lost Academia!" "Don't forget about me! I can't help that much here but I'll try my best. I will make sure Sakura is proud of me! I survived the 4th Shinobi World War! I can do this!" We all attack with some of our best moves but Pmurt just stands there and lets the attacks hit him. They do nothing and in seconds, he destroys the Crossover action field's many remaining platforms without even trying. "Damn it! Not even my cosmo at its highest point was enough to stop him! What is happening?! How is he this powerful?!"
That's when something unexpected happens. A guide from the village of Yule in the Winter Wonderland runs to our position. He's dressed in a mostly white and brown warm outfit. He has light skin, green eyes, nice short brown hair and a longsword in his right hand. "Swiftdrawer! Cluu! I came as soon as I heard the call from the World Keeper Luxerion!" Cluu screams: "Aren! What are you doing here?! It's too hot and dangerous here for you!" "Who is this wokeist freak?! Oh great, another sword user! I've come to hate swords so much because of the irritating amount of times swords have been used to ruin my plans and destroy the guns of my pawn armies! You can die along with everyone else here!" Pmurt tries to kill us all. However, a golden energy prevents him from doing so. Luxerion appears and waves his finger. "No no, I don't think so. I won't allow you to do as you please. I am the World Keeper of Light, Luxerion after all." "I don't care! You will die to me too! Don't you sense Natrum's power within me?! I could easily destroy you since his power is now a small portion of my own!" "Yes, I do see that and know that I can't defeat you alone. I made sure to call upon some more friends and allies to help these brave fighters from different worlds defeat you." A woman with light blue hair, light skin, and green eyes(I believe) in match blue and white clothing appears. "I am Aquarius, the World Keeper of Water." "How many of you World Keeper freaks are there?!" A man with light skin, amber eyes, dark red hair, and a outfit matching the color scheme of the inside of a volcano appears. "You have forced me to leave my dwelling, leaving the Ardor monster free to cause trouble and I won't forgive you for that. I'm Ignis, the World Keeper of Fire and I do not appreciate you getting in the way of my trying to keep Ardor down myself." And the World Keepers manage to hold back a bunch of the villain's attacks.
While this happens, more help arrives. A tanned man with dark hair, a large stature, a lot of muscles, brown eyes(I think), and no shirt on appears with a whole tribe of people just like him. He yells: "We Waivro are here too! Me Sir Fierce Fists! How dare you threaten the entire world, villain!" And then, a bunch of Sky Pirates appear as well as a group of players led by a talking raccoon named Varum. Cluu groans: "Varum, what are you doing here?!" "Hey relax, I'm not interested in recruiting your friend. Im here for the same reason everyone else is here. To stop that lunatic." Even some witches from a magic academy appear next. Then there was James of the Arcana Expedition. An unexpected addition to the team. He has a pretty nice and simple outfit with light skin, short dark hair, glasses, and blue eyes(I believe). He's smirking for some reason. Cluu gasps: "What's wrong with you, James?!" "I found out who took the expedition's funds. It wasn't the coffinpickers. Why did you know who have to get you guys to steal our funds?! He must have been desperate for that legendary treasure! It was fortunate I managed to acquire some as much of it was taken by those coffinpickers and a flood of hundreds of monsters. I'm not mad at you. I'm mad at him and this foe standing before us. I know it was him who agitated all of those monsters. Our camp has been overrun by them and now, I'm here to help end this villain." Pmurt finds his situation amusing. "You freak! That's so pathetic and hilarious! Your tale is so pitiful that I might as well exterminate you first!" He tries to destroy us all but the Mechadragon appears with the Black Circle's leader Cyrus on it and takes the hit, sending him to the pavement. He gets up. He has interestingly shaped hair, light skin, blue eyes(I think), and a black outfit with a scythe like weapon in his hand. Cyrus grins: "I'm only here to eliminate a threat to my revenge and conquest! That bastard Dark Lord is going to pay for what he did to me! He stole the Sword of Discord from me and sent me plummeting! I can never forgive what he did to me! I'm back! And this time, no one will stand in the Black Circle's way!"
A bunch of Black Circle people appear. There's a dark haired man in goggles named Hector among them in what is basically the legged counterpart to Eggman's usual mode of transportation. There's others too. As if that weren't enough, the Dusk Syndicate appear. "Luxerion! Why did you call these guys too?! They're our enemies!" "I didn't. I think they just found out on their own!" Dio, a furry and tough looking creature in green and black clothing who is the Dusk Syndicate's leader speaks: "The Dusk Syndicate is here too since this madman is in the way of reviving the great genie! We'll set aside our differences for now and help defeat him!" The Cooking Witch appears next. "I'm brewing up a troublesome stew for this foe of ours. *laughs* Ni No Kuni will be saved from him by us all." Dio groans: "Saving this world? So annoying but I'm willing to do it if it means the Dusk Syndicate gets to live another day!" And then, a short catgirl with dark fur and a cute appearance with a friendly white hog like creature appear. "Hi everyone! I'm Gosling! I can read your fortunes and send adventurers into Sirius! *she holds up a artifact* Inside Sirius, there are Void Beasts so we can release them as a buffer! It'll be fun! This little guy is Hedgie btw!" And then came the Dream Witch as well as Goldbeard. Goldbeard has a white beard, huge size, dark skin, and octopus lower half. "The seas have been unstable lately and I've been forced to come here with my pirates!" A bunch of half monster pirates appear with cutlasses and flintlocks. Luxerion speaks: "I think that's just about everyone. Time to start fighting. Even I'll help fight. *Luxerion dual wields 2 swords* Let's begin." And so, the World Keepers start fighting instead of holding back Pmurt. The battle is so chaotic but I have to focus on attacking with everything I have. I must do so in order to increase the odds of us winning and defeating Pmurt here in Ni No Kuni. But of course, another group shows up led to a blonde haired man whose eyes have become void black. The Legion and he's the Dark Lord. "So this is where Natrum went?"
Pmurt groans: "More freaks to destroy! This is not what I had in mind! It should have been so easy! All those monsters worldwide and your differences should have prevented all of you from coming together to defy my holiness! How is this possible? How could you freaks still stand against me despite hating each other?!" Cyrus laughs: "It's really simple. We hate you more than we hate each other and we all want to survive. We have no choice but to work together! How else could we ever hope to stop you, someone who we dislike so very much?! You should have been more careful when plotting your schemes because we all know what your plans are and who you are now." The Dark Lord adds: "As weak and pathetic as Cyrus is, he's speaking the truth. We will destroy you even though our goals clash." Dio further adds: "You seriously make me so angry! You nearly overran Sky Island with a bunch of monsters, robots, and humans! You're trying to conquer this world which would prevent the Dusk Genie from ever reviving! Once we get our hands on that lamp again, we will revive him! But for now, destroying you is priority!" And the fighting continues but no one is able to do any damage to Pmurt. Not even Continuous Great Infernal Tornado Slash: 18 did anything. It impressed a lot of individuals, good and bad but it still did nothing. After 15 minutes of this, Pmurt frowns: "I'm tired of you freaks trying to hurt and best me! You are doing nothing to me and yet, you still fight! You still keep going and it's irritating! You freaks should have died long ago! But no matter, I will send in my troops to dispose of all of you themselves for me! I'm tired of all of you society destroying wokeist freaks! Not even that Sword of Discord is doing anything against me!" James takes the chance of his ranting to deal a critical blow somehow. "You will not impede the work of the Arcana Expedition! I will make sure of it!" "Why you! Just die! All of you lawless freaks, just die! Die! Die! You inferior creatures! I will exterminate all of you... Aaaaa! This pain! What have you done to me?!"
"I am Expedition Captain James and I'm tired of relying on Swiftdrawer and Cluu all the time. While I do forgive them for stealing the expedition's grant funds, I don't forgive you for what you've done and are trying to do!" James single-handedly starts beating the crap out of Pmurt Nedib. "How is this happening?! You weakling! You mortal freak! I am divine and you are nothing! Nothing! How are you doing this to me?! Answer me if you want to live a little bit longer before I exterminate you for good!" Beerus is shocked: "I can't believe I'm saying this but I also want to know how this is possible. Where did this Expedition Captain get all of this strength from?! How can a mortal like him suddenly fight on such a level?! I need to know!" I reply as we watch this play out: "I have a theory. It's probably some kind of emotional transformation that shouldn't even exist like Madeline's Berserk mode which resembles Broly and Kale's Super Saiyan transformations despite not being a Saiyan herself." Several minutes later, James has defeated Pmurt Nedib all by himself. Even Dio, Cyrus, and the Dark Lord are speechless. None of us have any words. But then, Pmurt gets up. The sky goes black and every light in Evermore goes out. A tower begins rising from below the fountain we've been fighting by this whole time. James doesn't look exhausted at all. He looks like he can just keep going. The tower breaks through the fountain and soon reaches the clouds. Cyrus utters: "That's so much.." The Dark Lord finishes: "chaos as well as mechanical parts." Cluu sweats: "What is that?! I'm scared!" Dio takes a step back: "I can't believe my eyes.. This feels more powerful than the Dusk Genie.. Far more powerful.." Pmurt laughs and points at James: "I don't know how you managed to defeat me but it doesn't matter anymore. You freaks! I'm going to kill all of you right here and now very soon! Not even prison would be enough to punish all of you for your sins! You have sinned and you will repent by being exterminated! That's how the rules work!"
Pmurt Nedib absorbs the chaos energy from the tower. Cyrus yells: "Just where did you get this much chaos?! This is impossible!" "Oh but it is vert much possible, you miserable excuse of a evil leader! While you were all so busy on me, I had my pawns drill to the center of this world and force the combination of all elements down there. When they did, this tower you see was created with the help of mechanical parts from my own robots and androids! Do you understand now? None of you can ever hope to defeat me now! Not even someone with nonsensical anime powers like you! *points at James* That's right, I figured out the secret to your hidden and mysterious powers. I had to know how someone like you could defeat me like you did!" I activate a card: "Not so fast! I activate Defusion!" Soulburner adds: "And so do I!" Pmurt laughs: "You think that's going to be enough to split my form back up?! That's so sad! No wonder you are wokeist freaks: the rejects who are trying to destroy society by making it more tolerant, Inclusive, and more!" The Defusion cards have no effect. The Dream Witch speaks: "You think those kind of things would destroy a society? I love to make kids suffer in their dreams but even I know that's not how you destroy a society." Cyrus laughs: "It's really pathetic you think something as worthless as inclusion can destroy society!" The Dark Lord adds: "Only destruction can destroy any society. The Sword of Discord is meant for something along those lines. I will rule over this world in time." "...Even the likes of you freaks don't agree with me! In that case, you will all suffer my divine punishment at once! There is no escape! Once I'm through with all of you, this world will be mine! All mine and cleansed of all sinners and deviants and more! This entire world will be mine to control very soon and there's nothing any of you can do to stop me now that I'm far more powerful than I just was!"
Seiya yells: "Oh yeah?! Just you watch! We'll stop you even if it costs our lives!" Dio sighs: "I can't believe we have to fight with someone like you. Dust Syndicate, let's keep fighting to revive the Dusk Genie! The only way to defeat us now is to kill us! Come at us, Pmurt Nedib! Come at us! I dare you!" A teenage girl with light skin, blue eyes, long blonde hair, and a simple blue and white outfit shouts: "Oh Cluu! Watch me do great in battle! It's going to be fun!" "Chloe! Leave me alone! For the last time! Please just leave me alone! Don't get excited! This is dangerous and we have to check this guy seriously!" Varum speaks up: "Let Chloe have her fun. You aren't the boss of her." "Fine. But if she gets killed, don't blame me!" Pmurt laughs: "Having a little pointless feud over there? Sinners like you are the way I thought you were! You're so inferior to me that killing you and everyone else is going to be easy!" And so, the battle resumes but this time, everyone's fighting with everything they have. James is still by far the MVP which was a very strange thing to witness, that's for sure. Edelian then comes over with the Evermore guards. "We're here to help too. We have evacuated the residents to safe locations but it was difficult. It doesn't matter who we fight alongside right now. We have to stop this dangerous man. Is that understood, guards?" They all nod. Pmurt Nedib mocks the guards and Edelian. They aren't bothered. They just get ready to fight with the rest of us. And so, I get ready to swing my sword over and over like usual. "Haaaaaaaa! We wont let you get away with everything you desire, Pmurt! You bastard! You have selfishly inflicted pain onto and/or used so many innocent people. You deserve all the pain you caused but with the amount doubled or even tripled. We will not hesitate against you. Take this! Anatomical Disruption! This time, it will work! You'll see!" As the villainous CEO and ruler of an entire Earth is too busy fighting literally all of us at once, he is unable to stop me as I attack and as I put all of my strength into delivering damage to the joints around his knees, I hear and see many things. "Tomato soup. This oughta hurt you, Pmurt Nedib. Hehehe." Goldbeard's tentacles attack our foe. So many things happen.
I did a little damage but it wasn't nearly enough to have some significant impact. "Damn it! Just how tough is he now? I'm going to have to step back and request backup. I don't think we can beat him despite so many villains working with us to fight him.." I successfully get away from the battle for a second. I get out my phone and send out a message to the main BRAINS chat. It reads: "Everyone, we need your help. Pmurt Nedib has become so incredibly powerful in Ni No Kuni that even with the Legion, Black Circle, Dusk Syndicate, Sky Pirates, Evermore guards, witches of Witch's Woods, and more helping us out from all over Ni Ni Kuni, we aren't doing much damage to him at all. Come if you can and hurry. We are all in grave danger. -Swiftdrawer." I then put away my phone and run back into the battle as desperation fuels me. I pull out my sword from its scabbard attached to my armor again and get ready to go wild but also smart. Llenn is having a hard time keeping up with Pmurt's deadly attacks which mostly still get blocked. "Everyone! We can't give up! We have to push on even if it hurts like hell! As a knight of the people, I need to stop playing it safe. I need to do everything I can to fight. That's the only way I can have a significant impact in this battle.. Haaaaaa!" And so, anyone who wasn't giving their all before was doing so now. I swung my sword with ferocity and speed. I did everything I could to hurt the horrible villain. He just laughed at all of us. "You think that these attacks even tickle?! You wokeists are all the same! You think that everything you do to oppose the likes of me has any impact in the long run when it doesn't! I'm going to show you all that whatever powers you have or nothing compared to me! I am a good and all of you are inferior to me! I will kill you all then conquer this world to be mine! My forces are waiting to conquer everything! Once-" "Hey mortal pretending to be a god, didn't you say you were going to let your troops handle us for you?! Sounds like somebody is terrible at keeping promises!"
"Why you! Those troops became pointless to have join this battle very quickly. You freaks just won't give up! Give up and face your punishment if you still somehow have some dignity in you! I don't know how any wokeists would have dignity but if any of you have it, use it to just surrender to me and allow yourself to die at long last. That's the correct way for a dissenter of my rules to be punished! Submit! Now!" The Sky Pirates and other pirates went somewhere a bit ago but now, they're back in their ships, trying in vain to blast our foe with cannonballs or high tech energy blasters. This only allows us to have an opening to attack at full strength without being hit back as he couldn't see. So I used my best technique all over again. I took it up to such a high level. I felt myself almost die. *Arrrrrg! This hurts so much but we can't stop! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Take this! And this and this! I'm not holding back anything!" And then, Pmurt Nedib laughs at us again: "I'm done playing around too. Say goodbye, all of you! This is the end of your defiance! Strident Blast! The power of Malefic Cyber End Dragon! You're all going to die!" But then, the Sword of Discord flies out of the Dark Lord's hand who had been using it this entire time to fight. It flies to my counterpart. And when my counterpart touches it, they start absorbing all of the chaos inside of it, restoring it to the Sword of Unity. Luxerion smiles: "What a pleasant surprise!" The Dark Lord frowns: "Why does the Nameless Kingdom's Royal Protector get to have it?! This is an outrage." They wield the sword and it resonates with their sword skills. Pmurt Nedib looks surprised too: "What's going on? What is that sword doing?! Why is it suddenly so powerful?!" My counterpart wields it to deliver a series of blows to Pmurt and a blinding light clouds my vision. When the light fades, my counterpart is bleeding on the ground with the Sword of Unity back to being the Sword of Discord again and embedded in their chest. Cluu screams: "Nooooooo! This can't be happening!" Pmurt smirks: "Looks like I'm the only one truly worthy to use that sword!"
The Dark Lord glares at Pmurt. Cyrus glares at both of them. I run to my counterpart and slowly pull the sword out. But as I do, I feel my armor break apart in many places as I watch my own blood flow very fast. I collapse to the ground and drop my sword. I almost got the Sword of Discord out but I wasn't successful. Even my eyes bleed a little bit. "..Damn.. it.." I just barely manage to watch as Pmurt does the same to pretty much everyone else. Even Beerus in his fully powered up state where he's surrounded by destructive energy wasn't enough to resist. But I couldn't focus on how hurt any of them got. That's because I was hurt so badly myself. The villain laughs: "I've done it! Now all of you sinners are going to bleed to death and I will get to watch as this happens! This is the end of all your opposition to me! It's over! Ni No Kuni is mine and with its resources, I will destroy all resistance in Miitopia and win the war!" The Cooking Witch sighs: "I never thought this would be the way I'd go down. I've been around for a long time.." I struggle to speak: "D-did we just lose?!" Edelian stands back up despite bleeding. "As long as I live, I will do my duty even at the cost of my life." Just about all of us get back up too. I pick my sword back up despite my right hand being in really bad shape. "That's right.. It isn't over until we've given it everything we truly have.. If this is it then.. I want to go out fighting with hell!" I don't even care anymore. Right as my counterpart stands back up despite the fact they still have the Sword of Discord in their chest, I scream and run at our foe, slashing ruthlessly and so hard that my arms feel like they're about to be ripped off. "Haaaaaaaaaaaa! If we can't beat you, we can at least deal as much damage as possible before we die! Take all of this! This is my death battle! My sword will drop to the ground again when I die! I'm going to put everything I can!" "Go ahead! Fight all you want, freaks! Make your deaths come faster! You still won't be able to harm me for I'm superior to all of you! I am the only real god! All other gods must die so I can take their powers and places! Only I deserve to rule all of existence! Sinners, wokeists, and more will start being eliminated for real with all of your deaths!"
But after 20 seconds, he screams in pain. "What?! I'm feeling pain! No! No! No! No! How are you hurting me?! You're all so weak compared to me! This can't be happening! But still, you're all facing my divine punishment! You can hurt me all you want but you're still going to die and I'm still going to win! That's just how it's going to be! Yes! This is the best day ever! My next step to becoming the god of all universes, the sole person responsible for choosing who lives and who is exterminated! All freaks, wokeists, deviants, and dissenters will be exterminated! This is what I've wanted for so wrong! My dreams of crushing anyone I don't like or is in my way are coming true! My divine punishment can't be stopped! All of you are bleeding and it won't be long now until all of you die! That's right, die!" We keep fighting like hell. 15 seconds, I collapse to the ground and can't move. Everything hurts. I'm bleeding everywhere. I'm losing the rest of my blood so quickly. It won't stop flowing out. It just won't stop. There's no way I will survive long enough for any of my blood to clot. I don't think I even have a minute left now. I watch as my counterpart pulls out the Sword of Discord out of their chest and uses it to attack despite it being full of chaos and covered in their blood. "Swordsman Swiftdrawer.. No.." And as my vision starts to blur, I watch as the darkness in the sky is dispelled. What the hell is going on?! And that's when I see them. Abstractoa. Abstractoa levitates in the air and stares at what's happening. In an instant, all the damage done to Evermore is instantly repaired and I feel my bleeding stop out of nowhere. I'm so weak, injured, and on the brink of death. We all are. We're all barely hanging onto life at this point. I'm so overwhelmed by all the pain. I feel so dizzy. My counterpart collapses and gets impaled by the Sword of Discord again. But my vision stops blurring and they aren't bleeding. Is this the true power of Abstractoa? It's as I thought. Abstractoa stares at Pmurt Nedib.
The CEO was celebrating his win still, oblivious to the Guardian of Creativity. But then, he noticed and he was shocked: "Who are you? You look familiar! What have you done?! Why hasn't anyone died?! You freak! You freakish god! I'm going to kill you now and take your power! Your power will be mine so I can impose my will throughout every universe until everyone is dead or obeys me without question! I will never be annoyed by inclusion, diversity, hard truths, and more again! They will be things of the past! Just you wait! They'll be artifacts of the time before the Great Awakening I unleash onto every single universe!" Abstractoa replies: "I've been forced to take direct action myself. My very will is keeping all these mortals as well as Beerus alive. Do you understand me?" "No! That's not fair!" "Keep talking. It doesn't change what must be done about you. Now, I will handle you personally. After I heal all of these individuals myself." "No! You can't! That's not possible! No one can heal all these freaks! No one!" Abstractoa instantly heals all of us and briefly turns to me as they repair my armor: "What's a fully armored knight like you without their armor?" Pmurt is speechless at how easily Abstractoa is pulling this off. "How?! I can't believe this! This must be some kind of illusion! And I will dispel it!" The CEO tries to dispel some sort of illusion but nothing happens. "You can cease lying to yourself because I am going to defeat you and you won't even figure out how I did it when you are on the ground, humiliated by emotions I have long since discarded myself."
"How dare you stand in the way of my holiness! I am the real god! Not you, me! I'm the true ruler of all universes! The only person worthy of determining and controlling everything! The piece of the Shadow within me has blessed me, allowing me to realize my truth! My truth that I'm a god who is far superior to anyone else! All will bow before me if I allow them to live! All the freaks I kill will be hung up for display to remind those who continue to live to not question me and obey my authority! They will have no choice but to live their lives as I see fit because I'm the only one who knows best for any and all societies!" "No one truly knows what's best for anyone. You have only seen far less than 1% of my power so far." "..Less then 1%?! Then I will just become so superior that I will head the equivalent of 200% of your power when I kill you! Just you wait! Actually, I won't need that! I'm going to exterminate you with my full power right here, right now! Die, divine freak who doesn't deserve anything!" Pmurt Nedib unleashes so much power that the wings he sprouted break right off of him and some blood flows out of him. He concentrates it all in a huge energy blast. Abstractoa calmly speaks: "That energy blast is big enough to possibly destroy the entire galaxy around us. It would destroy the solar system around us. That's what I'm aware of for certain. But none of that will be happening." I don't know what happened but after just one second, the energy blast was gone and Pmurt was on the ground next to Paradox. Corrupted Natrum was on the ground, struggling to get back up. There were also 6 number cards which were retrieved by Abstractoa. Pmurt coughs up blood while Paradox literally dies in front of everyone. "How?! What just happened?! YOU! You.." Pmurt looks like he's completely humiliated and at a loss for words. But then, he gets back up slowly while struggling a lot.
He glares at all of us as he opens a portal. "You could have killed me, Abstractoa but you are so set with your pointless policies! This isn't over! If I can't conquer Ni No Kuni now, then I can conquer it after it is laid to waste of its residents and visiting heroes! I will return to this world when that happens but for now, I'm going back to my headquarters! You! You foiled me! I will become so powerful that not even you will survive next time we meet, Abstractoa! Woke gods like you will be the first gods to go! Just you wait! Miitopia will be all mine! All mine! Same with Ni No Kuni! Just you wait! I will conquer all existence so everyone will worship me if I don't eliminate them for good! Soon, Ni No Kuni will be ravaged by all those monsters! Treant and Ras are destroying the Nameless Kingdom right now and you can't stop them! You can't! By the time, you arrive, it will be too late! This I promise! And Ardor is destroying the Eastern Heartlands! The monsters below this city will soon destroy it once they escape the sewers which are the only places besides Hell where any of you belong! I can't wait to see you all fail! Abstractoa, I know you won't do much to help these weaker than you wokeists so enjoy being lazy! That's right, you're a lazy god because you could have ended the war of Miitopia as soon as it began! I win because I'm not lazy!" "Mortals should only need divine intervention when they can't do something important themselves. That's the rule I exist by. And if I intervened in every conflict, the mortals could never become strong and I'd be opposed by any mortal or god who disagreed with my level of interventions. If the mortals can't become strong, then they will become over reliant on the gods and the gods will slowly become worse off. If we gods are relied on for everything, mortal societies would eventually collapse because we gods can only do so much at a time. No matter how many worlds we help, we cannot help all of them. And due to this, being over relied on would make us stagnant too."
"Blah blah blah! Make your woke excuses as much as you'd like but it changes nothing! You're lazy and I'm not!" "You will never change. I have seen your future play out over and over again. Many mortals are being forced to reach god level strength and beyond. If we gods interfered in everything, they wouldn't have to at the price of The Plot winning the ultimate battle." "Curse you and your logic! It makes me sick! All of you freaks make me so sick! How can ever I wash out the secondhand tastes of your sins? How?! How?!" Pmurt then vanishes through the portal he opened right as more blood dripped from him. Abstractoa speaks to all of us: "I will remain in this world and aid all of you by helping take care of the monsters in the Eastern Heartlands with a very small portion of my power. None of this should happen and I cannot allow those in my charge to become stagnant in their growth." The Dark Lord speaks: "I have no desire in helping clear out the monsters. Let the destruction reign." Cyrus adds: "I hate him and I hate even more to agree with what he's doing as I'm going to do it too." That's when the monsters from the sewers attack and swarm around several Legion and Black Circle members, severely injuring them before we could pick them all off. Cyrus sighs: "These monsters are no fans of us either. So be it, they'll be the next enemies we crush in the name of revenge!" The Dark Lord also sighs: "I can't believe this. The Legion and I have to help stop these monsters too." Dio pales as he screams: "Sky Island is being destroyed by monsters and they're trying to kill the body of the Dusk Genie! Dusk Syndicate, we must go to Sky Island, NOW!" The Dusk Syndicate head there right away. It's an island floating up in the sky inhabited by most genies. The Dark Lord speaks: "Legion, to the ruins of my kingdom, Altrasia." Cyrus yells: "Black Circle! To the Rainbow Valley!" Sir Fierce Fists yells as well: "Waivro! We must return to our homeland in the Woebegone Wilds and use our strength! We can do this!"
The Sky Pirates head to Cloudcoil Canyon after their leader says: "Ahoy! All hands on deck! Sky Pirates! We have to go! Now!" Varum says: "Players! To the Allegra Plateau! We can handle the monsters there!" The Cooking Witch says: "Witches of Witch's Woods, I will assist you there as soon as we get there. I'm cooking up trouble for those monsters!" Gosling then speaks up: "Sirius will try to contain as many monsters as possible. But I hope someone can come over to my shop to help clear them out in time.." James yells: "The expedition and I can take most of the monsters in the Eastern Heartlands! Ignis, can you help us?" "Of course. Ardor must be stopped at all costs." Goldbeard speaks next: "Pirates, we will go to the Burning Desert and we will free it of the influx of monsters before we set sail for the islands. Do not disobey your captain!" All of the pirates nod and they're off too. The Dream Witch says: "I don't have much power over the waking realm. But if the monsters show up in nightmares, I will stop them. Only I get to torment humans in their dreams!" Aquarius speaks: "Aren, please assist me in dealing with the monsters around Yule and the Glittering Grotto. But we will need more help than just you. *turns to us* Could some of you assist us in this urgent matters?" Llenn speaks up: "I'll go! Sounds like fun!" Beerus says: "Do these monsters drop any delicious foods? Even if the answer is no, I will still go." That leaves the Boddly Archives, Evermore, the Southern Heartlands, the Nameless Kingdom, Golden Grove, and Serene Forest. Seiya chooses to help Edelian and the guards in Evermore. Flame and Soulburner take the Southern Heartlands. Gelina and Ino choose to help in the Golden Grove. Skips and Lucille go for the Serene Forest. I took the Boddly Archives and Abstractoa changed their mind about where they wanted to help and chose to help me in the Boddly Archives. Cluu and my counterpart plus Luxerion chose to go to the aid of the Nameless Kingdom.
Those of us who remained by the time the pirates headed for the Burning Desert didn't go anywhere until every place was covered by 2 of more individuals. Abstractoa spoke: "Remember everyone. Once you clear an area of all its rampaging monsters and any of Pmurt's troops still left behind, please go to the aid of those fighting in another region. That's how you will succeed without relying on me to do most of the work for you. Be smart and tough. Survive to the best of your abilities. Swiftdrawer, come with me. To the Boddly Archives we go." I nod and teleport with them there. The others split up at last as well. When we get there, I draw my sword: "Thank you for intervening, Abstractoa, you saved us all." "I did but remember. You must become strong enough to do the level of help I just demonstrated yourself before the ultimate battle begins. All of you mortals on the side of good and in BRAINS must." "I know. Let's get down to battling now. These monsters won't destroy themselves." "Correct." To be continued..
