The kids were now in the forest around the compound, trying to kill time. This was hard enough as it was...
"Well, we really have no money and the last thing we'd want is our powers randomly popping out of nowhere" Rahne said
"OK i mean all we gotta do is find somewhere...secluded." Jason said
"I mean we're at the compound in Upstate new York...among the woods how secluded can you get?" Peter asked and then thought for a minute.
"I have it, if we go through the woods...should be a place like a small campsite or something" Peter said
"Smart" Illayna said
"Great lets go then" Kim said as they head into the woods
"By the way, will Tommy be here?" Peter asked
"She said she'd be here in our location in an hour" Trini said
"Great!" Peter said as they reached their destination
"Aha! Just as i figured" Robbie said
"OK so who's powers do you wanna show first?" Peter asks
"I guess I'll go since mine is probably the most harmless" Rahne said as her eyes changed and eats pointed. Her bones cracked and changed shape as she grew fur finally growing a tail.
"You're a werewolf?...Cool!" Sonic said as Rahne howled and Dani petted her.
"She can also do this" Dani said as Rahne morphed back into a half wolf, half human state.
"Whoa...OK that's actually cool!" Peter said "enhanced senses and claws?"
"Yep" Rahne said
"That's actually a really cool mutation Rahne. I wondered what you had as far as powers" Kim said
"Now what about you Sam?" Jason asked
"Oh...um mines a bit more harmful so i need y'all yo please stand back if im gonna show you" Sam said taking off his cap.
"OK, not gong to lie...im a little worried." Sonic said as Sam started shaking as a purple aura engulfed him and he darted off at a super speed hitting several small trees then stopped.
"Whoa...that was dope!" Trini said as the others started applauding.
"You. Me. Race." Sonic demanded/begged.
"Maybe later."
"I'll take it!"
"Alright Robbie, your turn" Peter said as Robbie smiled
Robbie first made a small fire ball and threw it at a boulder.
"You make fire? That's pretty useful!"
All turned to see Tommy said as she walked in on the scene.
"Hey Tommy, how was the ride here?" Kim asked hugging Tommy
"The ride wasn't bad...definitely could be worse" Tommy said causing Jason to laugh.
"So who are you guys?" Tommy asked
"These are our new friends...they showed up earlier today." Kim said
"And..." Tommy then noticed someone she KNEW should not be there. In spite of being elated to see them again, the rational part of her mind overtook her and she demanded:
"HOW IN THE WORLD IS PETER BACK? I SAW HIM TURN INTO DUST NO LESS THAN A MONTH AGO!"
"Its OK Tommy, its OK, Magic brought Peter back...exactly how is anyone's guess but what matters is he's back!" Trini said
"It isn't like a Pet Cemetery thing...right?" Tommy asked, a worried look on her face.
"No it isn't" Peter said as Tommy slapped him and then pinched herself. "Ow! What was that for?"
"Sorry just had to make sure you were real and not a dream...its been crazy" Tommy said
"Understandable" Peter said
"OK, now that that's out of the way, how'd that guy make fire...do they have powers?" Tommy asked.
"Oh boy...we going be here a while..." Sam said as everyone laughed.
30 minutes later
"So they were born with powers and are called Mutants? That what im getting?" Tommy asked
"Yep, that's essentially it" Kim said
"And it turns out they're really nice people" Trini says as Rahne and Dani are sitting together. Sam and Robbie are playing hacky sack and Illayna is just laying down.
"So what about the Avengers? How are they gonna fix the snap?" Tommy asks.
"Time travel and Alita is with them helping out" Kim explained
"Makes sense. And I reckon Mr Stark doesn't know about...?" Jason said, pointing to Peter.
"As far as we know he doesn't but it wouldn't surprise us if he did" Peter said
"Fair enough" Tommy said
A phone suddenly rang and Kimberly answered.
"Hello?" Kim asked. "OK, are you sure he's ready to find out? I don't want anyone fainting when he sees him... OK, if you think its gonna work we're in...see ya when we get there. Alright guys, show and tell is gonna have to wait...Mr Rogers needs us."
"Wait, Captain America Rogers or Fred Rogers?' Sam asked, the getting looked at. "...What? They're both great."
"Is it time?" Jason asks
"Well...here goes" Peter says as the group walks through the forest and back to the compound
Meanwhile at the compound
"So...what exactly are we doing Mr Lang?" Alita asked as Scott who was backing up a 70s style van.
"Well it is quite simple...Quantum realm can allow us to travel from one point in time to another... If we can get this JUST right maybe we can do that but first we need to run some tests." Scott says
"What kind of tests?" Natasha asked
"Well...to be quite honest. A test to see if i can still get in there, or maybe i wont have to." Scott said looking at Alita.
"Why are you looking at me like that?" Alita asked as two more figures entered the room.
"So...we at the right place?" Reed Richards asked
"As a matter of fact you're just in time Dr Richards!" Steve said shaking his hand.
"Well that's good! This is my associate Ben Grimm" Richards introduced the being made of Rock
"Whoa..." Alita said in amazement as she walks up to the being made of Rock. "If i punched you, would you shatter or would you withstand?"
The newcomer rose an eyebrow; not expecting such a question. Still, as unexpected as it was, he welcomed it.
"Well to answer you're question lady I'm unsure, you're welcome to try though" Ben said as Alita chuckles and got ready to punch as Steve held her back.
"Let's not and say we did...Thor don't get any funny ideas either" Steve said as Thor chuckled.
"Yeah best not to test that theory Ben" Richards said.
"Are those ranger kids here?" Ben asked
"Nah we sent them out 20 minutes ago since there wasn't anything they could do to help out aside from helping out in the city" Natasha said.
"Ah, OK that makes sense, so what can i help with?" Richards asked
"What do you know about time travel?" Steve asked
"I don't know a whole awful lot but enough to help you guys out. Time travel is a very well known myth and a very well documented one. Seeing as though we're dealing with quantum mechanics as our form of time travel we need a quantum matrix and a flux capacitor, We'll also need plutonium and lots of it."
"Hm, this may be easier said than done Steve" Alita said.
"We need plutonium but how are we gonna get it?" Scott asked as a green portal opened and plutonium shot out of it.
"What in the name of?" Ben asked as a voice is heard
"(burp) Save the flipping multiverse, many worlds depend on it...BURP!" a voice of an older gentlemen is heard
"Who the hell are you?" Natasha asks
"Remember these letters and numbers dipsticks, C137! Remember those letters and numbers" the voice faded as the green portal closed
"That was completely random. But hey we'll call it a win, we HAVE PLUTONIUM!" Bruce said as Thor chuckled
"Who was that though?" Scott asked
"No one we'd know but we don't have time to figure it out! C'mon we need to get started on blue prints, get that plutonium somewhere safe" Steve said
Later in the city
The gang walks throughout town sharing stories of the past
"So...this flying guy was actually your former crushes dad? How crazy is that?" Sam asks
"Yeah, thankfully he and his goons are facing serious jail time! However it wasn't all bad, my guy in the chair aka my best friend had a hand in helping me out with that." Peter said
"Gee, that is some story, still doesn't beat ours though" Robbie boasted which earned a smack on the head from Illayna
"Yeah, you guys still haven't exactly told us about yourselves beyond the super powers" Kim said
"Well...it isn't a pretty story. We all did things we aren't proud of" Rahne explained
"Well mishaps it would get a load of your shoulders if you did" Trini said
"Well alright, here goes... I...accidentally killed my girlfriend, i got too hot and i haven't been able to live with myself since. My Dad sent me to where we were because he believed i needed help and i haven't seen him since. Not that he wants to see me" Robbie said with a tear shedding down his cheek.
"Man, I-I don't know what to say... That's horrible" Sonic said
"Story of our lives" Dani said as Illayna hugged Robbie
"Well if we have time we could probably train you guys, how to use your powers i mean" Jason said
"That sure would be nice since we never were properly trained" Sam said taking off his cap
"What about you Rahne? What's your story?" Trini asked
"Well, because of my mutation...i was considered an outcast of my religion, my...pastor if you will did things...things i don't wanna think about again and i...killed him, so i ran until i found where we used to live" Rahne said as Trini had a face of shock as she looked at Peter
"Since we're telling stories, I'll tell mine... I was a miner in Kentucky with my dad, my dad's co workers made me so nervous that my powers triggered and caused a cave in...everyone died but me so i fled while i could...mass guilt, i was found and taken to that hellhole we lived in" Sam said "i still feel like i shouldn't be here to this day" Sam said as Jason put a hand on his shoulder.
"It's OK, it's normal to feel that way. It wasn't your fault Ya know?" Jason said, gently patting his friend on the shoulder. Sam collapsed and started crying causing the group to slow down.
"Is...he gonna be OK?" Sonic asked as Trini looked at him.
"I honestly don't know...i need you to get us some tissues" Trini said as Sonic zipped and appeared with a box of tissues.
"Thanks" Trini said.
"Sam, everything's gonna be okay" Peter said as Jason picked Sam up off the ground.
"Ya man! we got ya!" Robbie said as they continued their way.
"Thanks guys..." Sam said sniffling as they spot a gang of thugs surrounding a teenager
"Uh guys... Muggers 12 0 clock!" Kim said as she got ready to morph
"Wait! These guys are just thugs...doesn't make sense to morph now" Peter said
"Wanna take care of that?" Robbie asked
"Yeah, I'll take care of it" Jason said
"I'll help!" Illayna said as Trini walked up as the thugs got closer
"Hey! Losers, pick on someone your own size!" Jason said to the thugs
"Like you, dumb-ass?" One of the thugs said as he grabbed a crowbar
"Ya don't wanna do that. I'm warning ya, it won't end well." Jason said as the thug ran at him with the crowbar
Jason dodged the crowbar as he chopped the thug in the back knocking him down.
"I warned ya."
"He did." Peter pointed out, Tommy and the others nodding in agreement.
"Who's next?" Jason said as the thug he knocked down and hit him in the leg with the crowbar causing him to scream in pain and get on one knee as the thug got ready to hit him in the back with said crowbar. Trini then grabbed the crowbar and bended it and throwing it aside and then grabbed the thug by the shirt.
"Leave him alone and we might let you outta here with all your bones intact! Got it?" Trini threatened the thug.
"I ain't scared of you ya crazy broad! Let me go!" The thug said
"Alright then...i warned you" Trini said as the thug was let go and Trini pulled out her complete arsenal mix of Kung Fu and Karate as the thug fell down in pain
"Anyone else?" Trini asked as the gang of thugs picked up the battered thug and ran away scared.
"You OK?" Peter asked the almost victim.
"Thanks! That was kinda scary!" The teen said, gratefulness clear in their tone.
"What's your name?" Kim asked
"Spencer Gilpin!" Spencer introduced himself
"What were ya doing before those guys showed up Spencer?" Peter asked
"I was just trying to get to my friends at this hotel, we're staying here in New York on Vacation" Spencer explained
"Wow, some people are just too cruel" Rahne said
"Yeah, they just came outta nowhere but thankfully i didn't get mugged! Again thank you!" Spencer said
"No problem Spencer! Happy we could help! We have to get going but it was a pleasure to meet you, hope you get there safe man! Robbie said.
"Yeah thanks!" Spencer said as he went about his day.
"Jason, are you OK?" Dani asked
"Yeah I'm fine! Due to the power coin i have, i can't get hurt too bad although i can still get hurt. I'm just glad Trini came to the rescue when she did!" Jason said
"Man, tell ya what Pete! All that karate movie stuff ya girlfriend pulled was kinda cool! Ya think you can teach me that?" Sam asked
"Well...it is an advanced type of karate/kung fu but I'm sure we can teach you all how to somewhat fight when there's time" Peter said
"Hm, so where to now?" Kim asked
"Hm...take a right here and we should be on our way there shortly!" Peter said
"Alright! Let's hit the road!" Sonic said with excitement as the group headed out
Meanwhile at the compound
Scott wearing the ant man suit had a confused look on her face.
"Why can't Alita do this?" Scott asked
"Because we don't know what'll happen to her if she did...besides your van, your test. We just need to make sure we're doing this right" Richards said
"Yep so fire up the van thing" Bruce said
"Fair enough." Scott said
"OK now I'm gonna set this stuff up because i don't wanna lose tiny here in the 1950s" Bruce said silently
"What?" Scott asked
"He's kidding, you can't make jokes like that!" Natasha jokingly said
"Yeah just a bad joke" Bruce said as Natasha took him aside
"That won't happen right?" Natasha asked
"Nat, we're talking about time travel here, either all of its true or none of it is!" Bruce said.
"And my unease grows by the second..." Alita mused.
"OK count down, Reed and Scott!" Bruce called out.
"...Three...Two...One" Reed said as Scott disappeared into the van as Alita had a face of shock.
"OK, return in Three...Two...One" Reed said pressing a button as a preteen Scott returned
"Uh...guys...this doesn't feel right!" Preteen Scott said.
"OK? That was odd" Alita said as Reed pressed a button as Scott entered the portal again only to return as an elder man
"Oui, you Whipper Snappers! Bring me back!" Old man Scott said as Reed pressed a button again and Scott returned to the portal only to come back as baby.
"He's a baby..." Steve said
"It's Scott!" Bruce said as Reed messed with buttons
"As a baby!" Steve said "Dr Richards, please bring Scott back!"
"When i say cut the power, cut the power!" Bruce said as Alita walked to the power switch as Reed pressed the button "OK now!"
Reed and Alita pulled the switch and Scott returned to normal again.
"He's back!" Ben said as Alita wiped her forehead
"...my suit is wet. But i don't know if it was baby me or old me...or just me me" Scott said as Alita chuckled
"Time travel!" Bruce loudly declared with pride, only to see no one else was. "...What? I consider this a win."
"Halfway point at best." Reed sighed.
"Long way to go til what I'm used to." Alita sighed. "Well, What's gonna happen now Steve?"
"I don't know Ally, i don't know..." Steve said as a Ferrari arrived and Tony Stark exited it
"Let me guess? He turned into a baby?" Tony guessed
"Among other things yes" Steve said as he opened the trunk
"Reverse time influx, instead of him flowing through time. Times flowing through him which is very dangerous" Tony said as he put on a watch device on his wrist "a working time and space GPS"
"Wow...why are you helping us though...what about Pepper and the baby?" Alita asked
"Grudges are pointless and toxic and i hate em" Tony explained, his attention on Steve.
"Me too Tony" Steve said as Tony pulled out Steve's shield
"This belongs to you...dad made it for you, and honestly i need to get rid of it before I turn it into a sled or fancy plate" Tony said giving Steve the shield, then pulling it back and adding:
"Two things i need, one get back everyone we lost, i hope, two keep my family at all costs!
Speaking of which, i heard the kid came back...please tell me you aren't busting my chops?"
"Yes...thankfully that's true, and he's in the city with the rangers right now as we speak along with a few...guests" Alita said
"Well i guess Tweedy bird might have been happy about that" Tony said
"Oh I'm soooo calling her that from now on! Can i use that?" Alita asked
"Also Ms Alita since you're here i taken the liberty of making something for ya!" Tony said giving Alita an arc reactor
"What is it?" Alita asks with Tony smiling
"Something for you! I'm sure you'll know how to work it but it's something i developed inspired by your Android technology." Tony said
"Wow, Mr Stark i don't know what to say...thank you" Alita said with a smile
"Anytime Battle Angel! Figured you'd like it, it'll help you out a lot!" Tony said as she walked inside
"So we are getting A TEAM, right?" Steve said
"We're working on that too... I'll call the kids and i can send Bruce and Nat to get Thor and Clint" Steve said
"Alright, let's get this started" Tony said as Steve pulled out his phone
"Hey, Kim...It's time, bring him in!" Steve said as the phone hung up and Steve walked inside
30 minutes later
Peter and the gang arrives at the entrance at the compound where they're greeted by a familiar face.
"alright well here we are! Home...sweet...home" Peter said as Tony was in view
"Mr Stark?" Peter asked as he walked up to the group
"In the flesh...which is ironic because you're back...how is that even possible?" Tony asked
"It's complicated but ya know Dr Strange?" Peter asked as Tony crouched down
"Yeah of course kid...he got wiped out too, how does this involve you though?" Tony asked
"Well, when i got dusted i entered this black void and this guy in a gold helmet who was a lot like strange, he said he mustered up magic to bring me back, along with some new faces and a ZORD Mr Stark! I have my own Zord! Although i have no idea where it is at the moment. Anyway, Mr Wong said that i was chosen for a "grander destiny" and was granted a new life as if the stones didn't turn me to dust at all" Peter said
"And that's why you're here now?" Tony said
"Yes sir, Pete brought us here since this was the one place we could go." Sam said as Tony looked on
"Well then...seems like we have a team somewhat, Bruce is getting Thor and Nat's getting Clint as well
"Wait THOR's gonna be here?" Rahne asked
"Yeah" Tony said
"As in the god of thunder?" Rahne asked
"Yeah, never met him? I can tell ya he's a riot!" Tony said as the group walked inside the compound and entered the main hall.
"Welcome back" Steve said
"Yeah, had to make a detour but we made it" Sonic said
"Any trouble while you were out?" Steve asked
"Not exactly, we had to stop a group of muggers trying to rob some kid, otherwise it was quiet" Trini said
"Well I'm glad you're all in one piece, now that you're all here, I'm gonna go over the plan for the new people in the room, we gonna travel through time to retrieve some stones...and We're building a time machine...you guys wanna help?" Steve asked
"Wait, Captain America is asking US for help" Dani asks
"Yes, but only if you want to, i must stress this is very dangerous and won't tickle. I understand you all are young and don't understand what's going on but I'm not gonna put you all in danger when it's unnecessary." Steve says
"Well we can't exactly fight or anything like that but we do what we can" Illayna said.
"That's all i expect, Parker...i trust you'll train them?" Steve asked
"Well i mean mutant powers are kinda outta my expertise, training rangers was one thing but training mutants... I don't know" Peter said as Trini grabs his shoulder
"You have us Petey! And you have whatever Avengers are available to help us! We're all you'll need to help. Sides these guys are at least have some grips on their powers" Trini said
"Yeah, we may not be pros but we can learn a bit" Robbie said
"I accept the challenge Sir!" Rahne said saluting Steve as Sam walked up
"Me too Sir" Sam said
"I wanna help" Sonic said
Illayna, Tommy and Dani shake their heads
"Alright then, what i understand is Stark has something for you all! Go see him immediately" Steve said as the Rangers walked over to Stark
"You kids need all the help you can get, so i built some stuff for you guys" Stark said as they smiled and Trini picked up one of the items
"What's that?" Peter asked
"That is a device that converts from a laser blaster to a sword, blast force of 30 meters per second and the blade self sharpens and unlimited charges." Stark said
"Sweet!" Jason said as Peter looked at a device that looked like a web shooter
"That is a web shooter 2.0, 2,000 web shooter combinations and even an electric sting option" Stark said "and has a map of different parts of the world and a communicator built in" Tony continued
"No training wheels?" Peter asked
"No training wheels what so ever" Stark said
"As for the rangers i also made these communicators, they look like simple watches so you can keep your ranger lives a secret but they have holographic projection and even can hack into your zords so you can summon them" Stark said
"Wait I'm sorry, Zords?" Kim asked as Wakandan carriers and opens to reveal new and improved zords.
"Oh my god!" Trini said as they all got a good look at their zords
"They're just like new! How'd you-" Jason began to ask
"I called in a favour with the queen mother of Wakandan as well as Wakandas OTHER top scientist's to rebuild and modify your giant robots with Mr Olivers help as well" Stark explained
"Wooooow!" Tommy said as the zords departed the carriers
"Maaaam you guys git all the cool toys huh?" Sam said
"As for you kids, since you are were last minute i just got you guys some new outfits, made to work with your mutant abilities and reduce damage to you...a package with an X came in to my cabin and she said give these to you!" Stark said giving each mutant a suit
"Wow...that's kinda peculiar but neat!" Rahne said as Stark smiled
"Now i believe you all have some training to do so go so go ahead and do that at least til we letcha know, bring Alita with you as well" Stark said as the group smiles
"Wait, they get stuff and i don't?" Sonic asks
"Oh yeah i almost forgot about you! I specifically asked them to make some vibranium made and laced shoes. Guaranteed not to wear out for a WHILE and they make no sound what so ever so enjoy em" Stark says as he gives the shoes to Sonic.
"Sweet! Now that's what I'm talking bout!" Sonic says as he catches up with the group.
"Now we just need Clint and Thor" Steve said
Meanwhile in Tokyo, Japan
a masked figure runs through a section of the city as he slashes and shoots through several gang members as he gets near the leader
"What do you want, we did nothing to you?" The leader says in japanese unsheathing a sword
"You survived, Thanos got half of earth...i got the other half" the figure says in japanese as he unsheathes his own sword as four large figures watch from above skyscrapers unnoticed
"Alright guys, we found him, lets see how this plays out...if it gets hairy, we'll intervene and take him down" the blue masked turtle says
"Then we'll go for pizza later...right dudes?" The orange masked turtle says
"If there's time Mikey, we're not exactly here foe sightseeing, sides pizza is hard to find in japan unless you wanna get weird toppings" the purple turtle figure says
"Hey shellheads while y'all are chit chatting, this guys getting creamed! Lets stop this clown before he kills again!" The red masked turtle says
"For once Raph's right, lets go boys!" The blue masked turtle says as they jumped down
At the same time
"Wait, ill give you what you want" the gang leader begs in japanese
"What you want, you cant give me" the figure says in English as he gets ready to plunge his sword into the leader but not before some ninja stars get thrown at it
"Hey, buddy...i understand this guys scum, but if you kill him, you're no better than he his, im giving you one chance to surrender, otherwise, we'll have no problem knocking you out to make you!" Raph says as he cracks his knuckles
"I don't know what the hell you are but if you're looking for a fight, you just got one" the figure takes his sword and gets in battle stance
"You don't wanna do that dude" the orange masked turtle says as he whips out his nunchuku "he actually will knock you out, i should know he did it to me once" he continued
"Stand down...there's no need to fight unless you don't surrender" the blue masked turtle says
"I will not give in to giant turtles, i faced plenty of guys more ugly than you" the figure says
"Diiiid he just call us ugly?" The purple masked turtle asks as he dons his bo staff
"Never mind that lets get him!" Raph says brandishing his sai, slashing at the figure only for the figure to dodge them with ease and do a leg strike at Raph knocking him down
"Leo, this is embarrassing but...i cant get up!" Raph said to the blue masked figure who rushed at the figure
"Just a sec Raph!" Leo said as he and the figures swords clashed as sparks flew from them
"Who are you?" Leo shouted as the figure gained the other hand
"That's for me to know and for you to never find out, because you won't live to know" the figure said as he gave Leo a kick the gut sending him falling back to the wall. The figure the slashes at Leo as he tucked his head into his shell.
"Hang on bro!" Mikey said as he attempts to hit the figure with his nunchuku only for the figure to dodge but Mikey gets a good kick in and knocks the sword out of the figure hands.
"Well...nice shot" the figure said as he cracked his neck. "My turn" the figure does a leg strike and kicks the turtle mid air making him fly into a wall making him land on Raph
"Mikey get off me!" Raph shouted
"Donnie its all up to you now!" Mikey said
"Alright pal, its you and me!" Donnie shouted
"Lets see if you put up more of a fight than your friends did" the figure says
"First off, they're my brothers and second i can hang with the best of em!" Donnie exclaims
"Prove it then, give me your best shot!" The figure says
Donnie then wields his bo staff and maneuvers it as he attempts to strike the figure, only for the figure to bob and weave away from every strike
"You're good, you were trained well i admit but...im better" the figure says as he grabs a hold of the staff and strikes Donnie with it making him fall flat on his stomach.
The figure turns to see his target has left the scene and sheathes his sword
"Well...crap...oh well you guys aren't worth the death" the figure says as he drops the staff near the defeated foe
"Alright, I'm calling this!" Leo shouted as he gathered his brothers
"Ninja shadow retreat!" Leo yelled as he threw a smoke bomb on the ground allowing the turtles to disappear
"Hey, you OK?" Nat says
"No...why are you here?" The figure asks
"Because we think we found something" Nat says
"Don't..." The figure says
"Don't what?" Nat asks
The figure takes off his mask to reveal the man formerly known as hawkeye
"Don't. give me hope" Clint says
"Sorry i couldn't give it to you sooner" Nat says
"Lets get in the quinjet and explain on the way" Nat said
"Agreed" Clint says
"Also what happened?" Nat asked
"I-I don't wanna talk about it" Clint asked
Meanwhile on the other side of the Tokyo sea dock
"Well that could've gone better" Raph said
"Ill say, Donnie and Mikey put up more of a fight than me and you did" Leo said "good try guys, but it seems as though hes heading off somewhere lets get into our handy dandy boat version of the shell raiser and follow them" Mikey said
"Mikey its not a boat version of the shell-raiser its called the turtle diver and yes we should do that because his heat signature indicates that hes heading...to new York." Donnie said looking at his device
"Then lets go guys, we'll follow him until we head home then we'll head to the lair to regroup" Leo says as they enter the turtle diver and follow the quinjet
Meanwhile at the compound
Scott, Trini and Peter are seen eating lunch outside as the Benatar landing causing Scott to break his taco
"Jumpy much?" Trini said
"I'm sorry I'm not used to alien spaceships, same with the dinosaur robots." Scott said as Nebula and Rocket exited the craft
Scott greeted the two as Nebula walks by Scott
"Rhodey, be careful on re-entry, Parker, Trini and an idiot are sitting in the landing zone" Nebula said on a communicator as Rhodey lands super quickly on the ground in his War Machine armour as Scott breaks his second taco
"Sup, regular sized man, Parker, Trini?" Rhodey jokingly greeted the trio as Bruce walked by and gave Scott two more tacos.
"Awwww, that was sweet" Trini said with a chuckle as Peter laughs.
"Yeah, yeah, yeah laugh it up!" Scott says as he gets up and leaves
Peter continues eating as Steve joins them.
"So, whats the game plan on training the newbies?" Steve asked
"Well i had a plan, i figured if you're not doing anything, you and Nat when she gets back could help me, ya know make sure they get trained right" Peter explained
"Makes sense, what do you know about their powers?" Steve asked
"Well, one of them has the ability to produce fire, one of them can turn into a wolf, one of them can propel himself into the air turning himself into a literal ball of energy and can't get hurt...much" Trini said as Steve raised an eyebrow "and the others we don't know since you called before we could find out" Trini continued
"OK...and again you want me and Nat to help train?" Steve asked
"Yeah and Logan as well...doesn't seem like he's doing anything important anyway, he knows way more about this mutant stuff than we do" Peter said
"Actually not a bad idea! I'll see to it" Steve said as Trini and Peter finish and head into the compound.
"So...where is the training room exactly?" Peter asked
"Well its down by the right, I'll be there soon as i can, just get them together and I'll get Logan to join up." Steve said as Trini and Peter gathered the group and headed to the training room.
"I'm heading with Rocket, going to get Thor. Be back in a bit" Bruce said as he and Rocket departed.
"OK, be careful" Steve said.
