Chapter 5: Boyfriend/ Girlfriend
The night life out in NOLA is another level. It kind of reminds me of the magic that surrounds you whenever you step one foot in Vegas. The difference though is that here, in this place magic is everywhere but mostly its in the nightlife. Every where you look is lit up with this energy that is so bright, weather it be in the spirit of those of once lived or those that are still living.
All I knew is that, I liked being here and I loved partying here.
"You ready to turn heads?" Damon asks as he grasps my hand and pulls it over his shoulder.
"Always." I say yanking him backwards. "But first we have to set some ground rules."
I watch as Damon tilts his head back sulking already. "But I hate rules." he whines.
I shake my head at him but still bite back a grin. "Doesn't matter, we still have rules that need to be set." I say crossing my arms in front of my chest.
"Fine." Damon says mirroring my image. He crosses his arms in front of chest and stands tall. "Lay it on me."
I toss my hair out my face to get a good look at him. At least he was taking this seriously. "Rule number 1: No fighting." I say gaining a groan from him. "I will not fight my way out of a club because you think someone is getting too close to me." I remind. "We're at a club, people dance close and hands sometimes wander. I'm not above bringing on the heat if someone needs it." I say as a spark dances at the end of my finger nail.
Damon rolls his eyes but nods his head. "Continue."
"Number 2: Chill out on this thing with Klaus." I say causing his face to go dark. "We're in his city, he stronger than you and he doesn't like you too much." I say causing Damon to scoff. "In other words, don't start none won't be none."
He says nothing.
"And lastly." I say holding up my finger. "We're on vacation, lets just have fun." I say with a grin.
He soon grins back at me. "Now that, I can get down to." He says swinging his arm around me. "Come on Bon, its time for me to get my groove on."
BB-BB-BB
The club is located in one of those brick buildings without a sign or anything. In fact that place is so elite or underground that you have to give a special password to get in. Once Damon utters the words, the brick wall opens as by magic and the two of us are making our way to the club.
He grabs a hold of my hand holding me close as we get into the crowded area, knowing that at one time grabs made me nervous.
"You okay?" Damon asks against my ear.
I offer a reassuring smile. "Yeah." I say easily because that chapter of my life had been closed and vaulted shut. "Come on, maybe here I can finally teach you how to dance," I say causing him to tilt his head back and laugh at me.
"You know my hip movements have you mesmerized." He grips.
"More like I don't think I've ever seen anyone dance like you do, you look like you've been electrocuted." I snap back playfully.
Damon stops us to look me in the eye. "You're a rude girl Bonnie B. What am I going to do with you?"
I grin. "Buy me a drink?" I ask causing him to kiss my forehead.
"Come on."
BB-BB-BB
Once we've gotten to the bar we see Lucy who is waving us over with her friend and regent of the district, Vincent.
"Glad you guys could make it," Lucy says eyeing the two of us. "Both of you." she says eyes settling on Damon.
I hold my breath waiting for the next move when he says "Good to be seen." that has Lucy grinning and shaking her head.
"First round's on me." Lucy bellows while Damon and Vincent start to talking like they don't text each other all day. It's actually pretty nice to see that he has a friend. In fact I think Vincent is the only other person who can handle Damon the way he does because lets face it the vampire could be a bit much, however Vincent seems to handle it with an ease that I had never seen before. It had nearly taken me years to get to where I am at this point with Damon while Vincent beat him at a game at poker in the early days of our stay here and they had been buddies since then.
Once our drinks are ordered and then placed in front of us, we do a quick toast before downing it all in one go.
Music vibrates against the walls as classic jams from the nineties play. My body starts to sway on it's on violation at the mere selection. Lucy saddles up to me with a quirk of the lips.
"Thanks.' I say causing Lucy who was looking out at the mass of bodies dancing to the beat to look my way.
"No problem." She grins turning to me. "You look cute." She says eyeing my attire. Which consists of a gold dress which shimmers just the right way against my skin. My hair is straight and showing off the layers I had cut into it. My lips are painted a bold shade of red, that makes me feel empowered.
I look over at her and do the same. "So do you." I say and its true. Lucy can pull off just about anything its no wonder she has been engaged so many times. She's wearing a little black dress that was definitely a head turner.
"Are you two done talking, Bon, Bon here promised to show me some moves as if I need help." Damon says pumping his hips and fist in the air at the same time.
I share a look with Lucy before the two of us bust out laughing.
"She's all yours lover-boy."
Quickly I grab a hold of his and bring him to the middle of the floor where I show him, exactly where his moves fail.

Klaus
He rolled into the club with his brother and sister in tow. His son was next time, while a few hybrids were close as he had eyes and ears just about everywhere. The place was packed, which was a usual thing for them. It was nineties night which meant that more people than usual would show up. And lucky for him, Bonnie decided to be one of those people.
He had caught sight of her upon arrival, she was in the middle of the floor dancing with that whiny fool to a hip hop song. The two of them appeared to taking turns doing dance moves, before the latter had given up and just started pumping his hips and waving his hands in the air.
Damon was disgusting.
Sitting in the VIP lounge he had a good enough seat that he could see her every move, and he had indeed followed her every move. The way she held her own on the dance floor was a captivating sight. Bonnie danced just like she screwed, which was with her every being. She through herself front, back, side to side and then he watched as she dipped it low. His eyes zeroed in on that delectable arse of hers in which his hands had kneaded.
"You okay buddy?" Marcel asked while walking though to the lounge area. He had a big smile on his face as he was given a glass.
He turns his eyes away from her, and the spotlight that seems to shine all over her. "Just fine." He says looking over at his son. "You see, Marcel I am savoring the hunt." He says turning back to face his latest addiction, which was Bonnie Bennett in any way he could have her. Preferably tonight he would like to have her on all fours, but he was an easy man to please.
Marcel joins him in looking out at the magnificent sight that is Bonnie and her cousin Lucy for that matter. The two women laughed and moved around never noticing the attention they were drawing. Being the only two women to the very prestigious Bennett family had made them that much more alluring. Especially in a city like this, full of magic.
"She doesn't look like the type to be hunted, she looks more like the huntress." Marcel calls breaking though his thoughts.
He smothers a smile but Marcel can see through it. "In that case, then it would be a pleasure to be taken down by her."
Marcel leans back laughing. "I've never seen you like this," Pause "It's unnerving."
Rebekah soon pops up placing her head underneath Marcels arm. "What are we talking about?"
Marcel looks down at her. "Your brother was just informing me he's on the hunt but, he's willing to be hunted."
Rebekah only makes a sound. "I'm still having a hard time believing your after," She stops mid sentence upon seeing the look Bonnie gives as she tosses her hair back over her shoulder. The witch may not have a clue that they are watching her, but the sex appeal she was serving was at an all time high.
He smirks over at his sister. "You were saying?"
Clearing her throat she speaks. "I still haven't seen the two of you in person, until then I'm going to stay skeptical."
He grins seeing blond hair, and a smile that has always been comforting. "Well sister dear, watch and learn."
As he descends the stairs he runs into Elijah who looks like he had a question to ask, instead of answering him, he keeps walking. Camille was here and now it was time to let the games really begin.

My hips sway to the music as I feel someone come up behind me. It's Damon he smiles at me before saying he's off to get us drinks.
"Don't get too lost in the crowd." I throw over my shoulder before turning my attention back to the music.
I had been one of those girls who had obsessed over music from the nineties way before Damon and I got stuck in 1994. It did help me however foster my love for all things that decade. For instance when we were stuck on the other side we had record stores and I would spend hours laying on the floor listening to music with my noise canceling headphones and my portable disc player. It was a way for me to escape yet I was still in the confines of our bubble.
My love for the music of course had only intensified since returning home. The nineties was truly the best decade ever and I was a fan of eighties happy go lucky music as well.
"Oh my gosh!" Lucy calls causing me to spin around wondering what happen.
"Wh-"
"Klaus is here and he's coming this way." Lucy rushes out.
I look behind her and sure enough Klaus is walking through the crowd. My eyesight goes further to see that he's in fact here with Elijah, Rebekah and Marcel as well. Lucy too, looks back to see the same thing before turning back to me.
Suddenly I'm filled with butterflies at the thought of running into him, possibly, accidently on purpose. Like, he had sent me flowers and the lingerie was one of the most beautiful pieces I had ever seen. I didn't even know how to react to the gifts, saying thank you would be the right thing to do, but it was what would come next that had the butterflies swarming in my belly.
And then I remembered who was with us.
Damon was going to flip and I really did not feel like getting in the middle of a fight tonight, but I knew my boy and he was so dramatic. "No, no no!" I say flinging my hair over my shoulder to see that Damon and Vincent are still in the long, line for drinks. "Damon can't see Klaus, he's already acting weird, this will just make things worst."
Lucy puts her arm around me. "What's the plan, and please tell me it does not involve us going to another club because this place plays the best music."
I had already made it perfectly clear to Damon that I did not want to fight my way out of a club because he was on one. The bigger part of me also didn't want to give into his whims and leave a club that was so good.
"I..." The words die in my throat as I see Klaus has not only breezed past everyone but the mere fact that he was suddenly accompanied by another woman. Instantly my eyes are narrowing at the two of them. They seem friendly, she's got dark blond hair, but what is most startling is how he's smiling down at her. Looking further, I realize that they all but match in the colors they're wearing. But what is even worst is the body language the two share. They are certainly familiar.
Heat rushes to my face as my stomach drops.
"Who is that?" I ask nodding in the direction to where Klaus and the girl disappear to.
At my outburst Lucy has enough tact not to give me too big of a shit eating grin. She also manages to keep the words I know she dying to say to herself. Though its still very visible. She turns her head to get a better look and then faces me. "Word on the curb is that's Camille."
I furrow my eyebrows and nod, silently asking for more information.
"She owns that bar we like to go to," Lucy continues. "But you don't care about that." She says chuckling softly. " I hear her and Klaus are close, or at least that's what my hair dresser says but you know Danny is a gossip."
I lick my lips. "He practically took me on a table today and shows up with another woman, who does that?" I say eying the Mikaelson lounge.
Lucy grins again. "I'm pretty sure Damon would do the same thing." Lucy bites back then holds her mouth open. "When did he practically take you on the table and why am I just now hearing about this?"
I can only curse because I let that little tidbit slip out. I'd make sure to tell her all about it later. However right now, all eyes were over at the Mikaelson lounge area. It looked like they were having a party. I wonder if they'd like two new attendees?
Lucy follows my eyesight and leans close to me. "You're not jealous are you?" Lucy asks way to excited for her own good. I swear she looking at me like this whole thing is more exciting than her daily dose of her soap operas.
I realize that maybe just maybe Lucy is right. I had never had a reaction to anyone the way I had a reaction to Klaus, wether that be sexually or the fact that he was here with someone else. I didn't get jealous, it just wasn't me, yet here I was fuming. He wasn't my boyfriend and I certainly wasn't his girlfriend, however I would think he would be my stealth in his game especially since he had gone through all the trouble of sending my flower and fancy lingerie.
"N-no. Of course not." I stutter out. Though I suspect that Lucy can see right through me. Whatever, I was gonna fake it till I made it. "However, I do think that it would rude of us not to say hello."
Lucy takes a step back and looks me up and down. "You're serious?"
I grin. "Very." I look down at my clothes then back at Lucy. "We're all adults here and it was just sex." I say as nonchalantly as possible. In reality I'm low key freaking out. I had never really done anything like this before but the urge to do so was stronger than my usual reasonable mind.
"Ok, it's settled then, you can go crash Klaus and his girl while I get some alone time with Elijah." Lucy says giddy.
I realize then that Lucy is serious and resist telling her to do better. It wasn't like she knew the sordid past I shared with the original and who was I to rain on her parade, especially when I had wild thoughts about his brother.
Lucy starts to drag me in the direction of the VIP area when I stop her. "Wait, how do I look?"
My cousin ever the observant one, walks around me. "You look great, however you can toss your hair back so that the layers you had cut show a bit more, also I want you to raise the hem of your dress two inches so that every time he looks at your legs he thinks about them being wrapped around him, and lastly," Lucy says standing in front of me. "Remember you brought him to his knees, and you can again."
I can only smile after this pep talk. This is what it meant to have family at your side. I loved Caroline but I doubt my best friend could hold a candle to Lucy, she was just one of a kind. I had spent so much of my life being invisible that, at time I went back into my shell, but at times like this I needed someone to remind me, to live and I was about to live it up.
When we make it the Mikaelson area everyone is laughing, drinking and dancing. Rebekah is huddled up in a corner booth with Marcel whispering in her ear. Elijah is bobbing his head to the music, which is kind of funny but what surprises me the most is he seems to know the words to the rather sensual song. I never would've pegged Elijah for the r&b type of guy but he's mouthing the words like a pro. I already know Lucy is turning into a puddle next to me.
Klaus and Camille are sitting close talking. Or rather Cami is talking while Klaus is listening intensely. Who comes to a club to talk? Not me, I was going to come over say hi and then dance till my feet hurt.
The hybrid that is standing guard motions for us to come through. "Ms. Bennett, right this way."
Lucy and I share a look as the hybrid ushers us in.
Once we get into the area the party continues for the Mikaelson crew but they do spare us a glance.
"Sorry to interrupt," I say causing Rebekah to sit up, Marcel to rub her hands together and Elijah to pick up his drink and down it. Klaus still seems enthralled with Cami while she looks at the two of us realizing we go to her bar every other Friday night, for girls night.
"Lucy and I were out on the dance floor," I say when Klaus finally looks up at me. He's got fire in his eyes, it almost throws me off my game, but it doesn't. "We saw you guys and wanted to say hello."
Rebekah leans forward. "Is that so?"
I glance in her direction before looking at Klaus again. "Very much." I say with a smile. "Since brokering the deal between the witches and you all, I thought it would be a good look for people to see us talking, wouldn't you agree?"
Klaus says nothing as he continues to sit back though he does lick his lips.
"I think the idea is a marvelous one." Elijah calls causing me to break eye contact to look off at his shady ass. "Ms. Bonnie Bennett, I hope that this can be a peace offering on my behalf." Elijah says getting up and fixing me a glass of something strong. I take it though I still look at him quizzically.
He then hands a glass to Lucy. "As for you Ms. Lucy Bennett, I hope this can serve as our introduction."
I watch as the two of them interact and resist the urge to roll my eyes. Instead I sip out of my drink only to see that Klaus is still watching me. "Klaus," I call causing him to sit up in his seat. "I received the package you sent me," I say causing everyone to tune in but still act as if they weren't listening to our conversation. "Thank you," I say with an easy smile.
He too smiles, dimple on full display. "Well, when I saw it- I thought of only you." Smirk. "And the delicate little thing you are."
I tilt my head to the side and moisten my lips."I can't wait to show it off when I get back home." I beam.
The look he gives me is pure murderous and I swear I hear a growl but chose to ignore it. Everyone else seems to be on full alert. Rebekah all but drained her glass. Marcel only shakes his head and Elijah looks between the two of us and then back at Lucy an uneasy smile on his lips.
"Wait a minute." Camille calls sitting up. "You're Bonnie Bennett, the woman that got him to say yes when all he ever says is no?" Cami asks. "Inquiring minds would like to know because this man," She says hitting Klaus on the chest. "Is a hard nut to crack."
I share a heated look with Klaus. "Well once you know the right way to work him," I say winking in his direction. "He can't help but say yes." I say my eyes landing between his legs and then back up at him.
Klaus stands up at once. "Why don't you say that to my face, instead of my crotch?"
I stand my ground as he peers at me that with eyes that leave me nearly naked. "I would, really." I say finishing off my flute of champagne. I look down once more to make my point and then meet his eyes. "However, this is my song." I say pointing to where the music is flowing through the speakers.
I then look over to Lucy. "Luce I'll catch you later."
And with that I left the lounge feeling the eyes a hybrid following my every move.

Lucy
Like everyone else she had watched Bonnie and Klaus was almost a bated breath. Although she had seen the two of them in action earlier today, it was this moment right here that was sealing the deal for her. It was beyond obvious that the two were attracted to each other. But the chemistry they had was undeniable. It was also very telling as to where this thing was going and if she could it would be as far as they wanted.
"You're sure?" She asks after pulling Bonnie a good distance away from the original family. After being heard earlier they had said a spell to make sure all their conversations were private. Couldn't have nosey people eavesdropping on them and whatnot.
Bonnie only smiled and almost knowing smile of her own. "Yeah." she says with a chuckle. "I know you and your track record and I know enough about Elijah," grin. "Make him beg for it." Bonnie says beginning to walk away.
"Is that what you plan to do with Klaus?" she asked causing her cousin to stop in her tracks.
For a fleeting moment she watched as Bonnie once again looked over to where Klaus was, he was now surrounded by a bevy a women who could not hold a candle to her cousin. "He should be so lucky."
With that Bonnie had disappeared out of the V.I.P. and made her way to the dance floor where he song was playing. She could only crack a grin because that move had only made the hybrid look on more intense.
It was no surprise that some ten minutes Klaus too had disappeared into the throng of bodies, probably hoping to find Bonnie.
No sooner than he left she turned to the original family. "I got a hundred bucks saying they wont make it back to his place in time to rip each others clothes off."
If they were surprise by her brazen words it didn't show, no Marcel only leaned forward a grin that was always permanent still on his lips. "Vampire speed comes in handy."
Rebekah who was wrapped around Marcel soon chimed in. "She's right, Nik took off like his pants were on fire, they won't make home." The blond bombshell bit her lip. "Bathrooms are disgusting and I cant possibly see high and mighty..."
She narrowed her eyes. Nobody talked shit on her cousin. "Watch it, Bonnie and I are family."
Rebekah glared, "Listen here–"
Elijah who had been watching the scene quietly finally speaks up. "Rebekah," He calls sternly. "Lucy is my guest, change your tone."
The blond rolls her eyes. "Fine, maybe they'll make it to the car."
Elijah frowns. "There is not enough room in any car to do what the two of them looked like they wanted to do to each other." He says plainly.
Brows raised she turns to him. "Who knew you had it in you." She says grinning. "I thought you were prim and proper?"
Elijah grins. "I am, that is why, I think they'll check into a hotel." He says pouring her another drink. "That way if they get the master suite they can do it all over the place, the shower, balcony," He grins when she downed the drink in hand. "Floor."
Camille, Rebekah, and Marcel all shared a look.
She licks her lips. "What about the roof?" she asks breathing heavy. Goodness he was fine. How had Elijah Mikaelson slipped off of her radar. She was a connoisseur when it came to men, and although she had left a trail of broken hearts on her wake, something about this man in particular through her off.
Elijah leans close. "Never tried it, you offering?"
She downs the rest of her drink. "If you play your cards right."
Camille clears her throat. "Back on the topic, they will either kill each other or screw each other to death.
Marcel stands holding his drink up. "What a way to go."

When she leaves he tries to resist the urge to follow her. The whole time she was talking he had been observing her under heavy lidded eyes. He had watched as skin had flushed giving her bronzed skin and shimmering colors. Her green eyes had gotten more expressive with each word she had said. But what he watched most was what she didn't say with words.
He had told his siblings that Bonnie would come to him on her own accord and she did just that. Her actions had only proven what he had already known about her, about them; she was just as interested in he and he was in her.
Like a shark in water he maneuvers his way through the crowd dodging potential prey left and right. He knew what he had wanted, he had always known what he had wanted especially when she arrived here. The Bonnie Bennett of long ago, was long gone and replaced with her was this goddess that had his full attention everywhere.
When he finally spots her, she bewitching everyone on the dance floor. Her hips, hips he had once held in place as he moved forward and backward were calling out to him. Her skin was shimmering with gold flecks and his tongue had longed to lick it. Her mouth was partly open as she let the music take her to another place, and he had hoped on doing the same.
He steps forward when someone dares to move in her direction. The man has no chance in hell, she was his and he didn't share.

One of the best things about this club was that it played old school 90's r&b and late eighties new jack swing. At any given moment an oldie but goodie would be played by the d.j. and then it was on.
That was why I was still out here dancing. Damon and Vincent must've gotten stuck in the longest line ever because they were still missing. Lucy was probably spinning her web around Elijah. And Klaus...well Klaus was probably entertaining Camille. That just left me, myself and I. And to tell the truth I was fine with that. Put on some good music and I could be entertained for hours on. However, I could rightfully admit that I didn't like seeing Klaus and Camille together. It rubbed me the wrong way all together.
"Hey, you're a good dancer, I've seen you out here for like five songs."
I look up to see a cute guy, dark hair in a man bun, with greenish blue eyes. He looks like the type that thinks the world and women revolve around him. At some point I probably would've been one of those women who had adored him. However, at this point, I'm not interested at all.
You could call it learning from my past mistakes or it could be the Klaus effect, either way– I was good.
"Thanks." I say with a smile before deciding to move in a different direction. When I make a move, he goes in the same direction. He grins like this is a game that I'm enjoying, while I'm bored.
"I was hoping," Man bun says getting closer. "You might want to dance with me?" He smiles a knowingly smile, I bet he had nailed plenty of girls with his whole look, he won't be nailing me.
I don't have to say a word because soon two strong arms wrap around me, a familiar scent makes my head dizzy. I look back at him, as he winks at me before letting out a growl that is loud and clear.
Here I was suppose to be mad at him for the whole Camille debacle but the moment he growled something inside of me turned into jelly. It didn't help that he molded his body close to mine so that I felt every contour of his body. With a simple nudge forward he almost had me panting in public.
"Is this bloke bothering you love?" Klaus says against my skin. He lips are leaving kisses along my shoulder all the while he's still glaring at man bun. "You know how much I love to drain those who try and steal you away from me." Klaus says loud enough for womanizer wannabe to back up just a bit.
His fangs scrape across my collar bone and when he peers up our friend looks like he's seen a ghost. I can only imagine that royal blue eyes are flickering with yellow.
I can only grin.
Turning around I look up at Klaus a pout on my lips. "Babe, you promised I got to set fire on the next guy that hit on me!" I say in a sickly sweet voice.
Klaus leans forward licking my lips. "If that's what you want love, we can do it together and then make love afterwards."
I wrap my arms around his neck bringing his neck down so that our foreheads are close together. "You promise big daddy?" I say playing along. Klaus places his hands on my butt bringing me closer, a wicked gleam in his eyes.
"Anything for you sweetheart." He says cupping my face. "But first, I need a taste of that luscious mouth."
And then he's devouring my mouth and I'm doing the same.
Everything and everyone else around us, faded away, until it was only he and I.
