Chapter 9: I'm what you need

Its nearly three o clock in the afternoon and instead of doing anything productive, Lucy and I are sitting in front of the t.v. eating junk food. Once Klaus had gone, we went to the grocery store and got ice cream, root beer, licorice and chips. It seemed my cousin thought that after my break from Damon that I would need all of the essentials to help me get through it. But really, I think I was just numb to it all right now.

I didn't feel nearly as bad or sad as I would imagine I would feel after a big fight with someone I cared about. Instead a I felt like a weight was lifted off my shoulders. If we could patch things up in time that would be great, if not then at least I knew that I wasn't to blame and I could move on from that.

Currently we're lounging on her couch while reality t.v. played in the background.

"So what are you gonna do?" Lucy asks just as a I stuff my mouth with licorice.

After chewing I swallow and look over at her. "About what?"

Lucy grabs the bag of chips and starts opening it. "I don't know Bon, about the fact that some no name person knocked you on the back of the head," Lucy says irate. "The vampire who is supposed to be guarding you looks scared as all hell." She tosses a look out the window and then motions for me to look as well. Josh did look a bit frightened, but then again he worked for Klaus, he was probably scared every single second. It was well known Klaus had a notorious temper.

She lets out a sigh and then turns back to me. " Or we could talk about the hybrid who wants to date you or the best friend who just flipped the switch on you." Lucy says exasperated. "You pick one."

I bring my feet underneath me. Anger rises quick at the mention of what had occurred the night before. I hated feeling weak and that was what being knocked out had made me feel. I hadn't been knocked out in a long time and the fact that it happen in general pissed me off. "How in the world had someone gotten the jump on me?" I wondered aloud. "I'm at the most power I've ever had and someone was able to attack me. "I'm strong, my magic is at it's peak."

Lucy nods thoughtfully. "Maybe, but you're not in M.F. anymore, someone could easily be stronger than you." Pause. "This place is the heart of magic and maybe, someone stronger came along."

I mull over her words, she's right, but it still bothers me. "All I know is that, I'm not leaving here until I find out who knocked me out and why." I admit determined.

My cousin looks pleased by my words. "When we find them, they will know better than to attack a Bennett witch." She says with a promise in her voice. I'm touched by her words. "How do you feel, really?"

I lean over. "I feel embarrassed. But mostly, I feel fine physically." Pause. "Klaus gave me some of his blood." I say in a rush. It's clear by the look on my her face that Lucy had put two and two together.

Lucy nearly drops the bag of chips she had opened. "So now he's giving you blood and the D." Lucy muses. "I'm all for you getting it in, but be careful when it comes to blood, bonds form and next thing you know, you're supernaturally married."

The sharp look I send her only causes Lucy to tilt her head as she says I'm just saying.

"He only gave me his blood because my head was hurting, I don't plan to make it a habit."

"And?" Lucy asks with a brow raised.

Gotta love Lucy. "I'm good! I'm alive and that's all that really matters." I let a smile flit to my lips. " Between the two of us and Klaus, I think we can find who did this. Besides, I heard Klaus screaming into his phone, he's out for blood."

Lucy rubs her forehead.

"But, I do plan to safeguard this body so what happened last night never happens again."I say motioning to myself.

Lucy bites her lip. "Protection spell." She says knowingly. "Are you going to wear an amulet or drink an elixir."

"Both." I say easily enough. I wasn't taking any chances with my life, not after everything that had happen in the past.

"We can do the spell together." Lucy suggests. "You just need your book."

The suggestion is a good one, one that I would happily do. However, I didn't want to go home right now. I was still mad at Damon and I didn't want to see him. Most importantly I didn't want to fight with him. And we would fight because, I wasn't backing down, not this time.

"I don't really feel like going home right now, I don't want to run into Damon." I say and Lucy looks at me still stunned by the revelation.

"I still can't believe you guys got into a fight that bad." Lucy muses. "Over Klaus no less."

The argument wasn't just about Klaus, although on the surface that was what it was about but if you were to dig a bit deeper you could see the tiny cracks we had worked so hard to seal up were starting to crack all over again.

Leaning over I grab a pillow and hug it to myself. "Lets not talk about him, what about you and Elijah?"

Lucy shifts on the sofa. "Or we can talk about you and Klaus."

My brows raise tremendously. Lucy was usually one to spill all the dirty details of her love life and now she was mum. "Seriously, Elijah came home like he had just climbed the highest mountain ever." I say grinning. "I've never seen prim and proper Elijah so laid back and the dude was smiling, like full on smiling." I say noticing Lucy is trying to hide a smile of her own.

With a huff she speaks. "Fine." She says rolling her eyes. "We went to the roof," Lucy says with a smile now falling to her lips. "And we looked at the stars." She says blissfully.

Oh my goodness, it seemed the same bug that had bit Elijah, bit Lucy too. I shuddered at the thought of ever being like that again.

"Well, I guess that explains the twin dreamy looks you two are sporting." I muse causing Lucy to stick her tongue out at me.

Silence kind floats in while both Lucy and I are content just sitting together. It felt good, better then good. It was just nice to have someone like Lucy on my side. I was really going to miss her when I went back home. I hoped we could keep in touch this time. This relationship was important to me and I wanted us to nourish it. We were always family but now we were friends too.

When Lucy runs over to me and plops down next to me I realize that I've been lost in thought.

"Thinking about Klaus?" She asks resting her head on my shoulder.

"No!" I say causing her to chuckle at how fast my reply was. "He asks me to spend the rest of my time here with him, whatever that means." I say biting at my fingernail.

Lucy popped her head up so fast that I looked her way. "Girl we both know what that means, he's gonna bend you over every surface."

I nudge her as we share a look before busting out laughing. "He's taking me out tonight." I admit.

Once again Lucy sends me a look. "Just be careful, we have to at least make an elixir for you before you go out tonight."

I suck my lips together. That was the plan, the sooner the better.

Lucy

The moment she saw Bonnie and Klaus on her doorstep she knew something was up. Of course she thought it had to do with Bonnie deciding not to flaunt the fact that she was stills screwing Klaus in the face of her best friend. The actuality of it all, was much worse then even she had imagined.

That, of course was why she and Bonnie were at the magic shop. She had hoped that together they could put together a spell that could help protect Bonnie. She had heard all about the horrors of M.F. and her cousin had been the only person who seemed to get hurt by it all. That would never happen on her watch. She'd fight everyone to make sure Bonnie was safe.

"How about we spell my turquoise earrings, and necklace?" Bonnie calls while sifting through one of the spell books.

"Sounds like a plan." She throws over her shoulder all the while gather ingredients.

The bell over the door soon rings making it known a customer had come in.

"Luce, we got a problem, I just came from seeing Damon and he is, in a whole lotta pain." Vincent says stopping once Lucy gives him a wide eyed look.

Looking over to the side, Vincent notices that Bonnie was indeed here, looking through a spell book. She looks up at the mention of Damon and then looks back down as her phone pings.

"Oh," Vincent says covering his mouth. "I didn't know you were here Bonnie."

The girl in questions smiles though it hardly reaches her eyes. "It's fine."

From her position on the ladder, she watches as Vincent gives Bonnie a hug. "I'm glad your alright."

Bonnie puts her hair behind her ear and this time smiles a real smile. "I'm glad too. If it weren't for Klaus..."

Sensing where the thought process was going she hops off the ladder. "That's why we're making an elixir and spelling your jewelry for protection."

Vincent lets Bonnie go as her cousin finds a nice place to sit down.

"Need any help?" Vincent asks. "Three heads are better then two." He grins.

She tilts her head to the side. "I don't know Bon, what do you think?"

Bonnie grins. "I'm game." She winks in the direction of Vincent. "It's always a pleasure to be in his company."

She can only snort. "Say that any louder and your boyfriend will blow down my magic shop.

Bonnie only groans. "He is not my boyfriend!" The words are said with so much distaste it makes her wonder what happened with the last boyfriend. She'd have to get the Bonnie love life run down soon enough.

She takes the ingredients over to a nearby island and begins to put things in a pot. "Girl please, I say the two of you together last night." Grin. "I even saw you getting hot and heavy on my porch."

Vince lets out a loud whistle stopping the conversation all together. "I really don't want to hear about you and Klaus." He says looking at Bonnie. "Or you and whomever you were with last night."

She lets out a scoff. "What makes you think I was with anyone?"

Vincent gives her a pointed look, just as the door to the magic shop opens again. This time it's Josh and he looks just as scared as before.

"These are for you." The vampire says handing her a box. "Elijah sent one of his guys over and I'm here already so, I just decided to give it to you myself." The vampire rambles.

When Josh leaves everyone is left blinking.

"As you were saying?" Bonnie says wagging her head.

She only chuckles. "Says the girl who was sent underwear." Grin. "Tell me did he take them off with his teeth?"

Vincent throws his hands in the air. "Too much yall!"

Opening the box she grins upon seeing what's in it. She holds up a chocolate chip cookie. "Well, at least he has good taste."

Soon she's bombarded as both Bonnie and Vincent are seduced by the sweet smell of freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. She holds the box out of reach from both of them.

"Why should I share with you?" She asks holding the box tightly.

Vincent reaches for the box. "I didn't do anything."

She nods. "Fair enough, cookie for you." She says opening the box for him.

She looks over to Bonnie who sighs. "Someone knocked me out, I got into an argument for the ages with my best friend and I have a date with Niklaus Mikaelson in mere hours, I need chocolate and probably condoms, but then I don't even know if they would fit him."

Her lips twitch as she holds back laughter. Bonnie was so dramatic, but she loved her for it.

Opening the box she watches as Bonnie takes one cookie. "When you put it that way, maybe you need two cookies."

Damon

Space, it's not a word that he is entirely fond of. Space gives people time to get over him, to decide if they want him in their lives. It gives people the swift kick in the ass to make hard decisions.

One tiny amount of space could turn into a full-blown hole if you really think about it. It was, what had happen with Stefan and Elena after all. He had seen the tiny bit of space Elena had in her heart for him and then easily ripped that hole open so that the only thing left was, he and her, and the wreckage they left behind.

When Stefan needed space, which was appropriate given the fact that he did just snatch the guys' love of his life, he acted like it meant nothing but watched as his broken brother had gone. In reality, that space had opened Stefan up to be the thing that had led his brother to the ticking time bomb that he is now. While he had been enjoying, the space a Stefan free environment had brought to him and Elena, Stefan had been drowning over and over again. And in the end Stefan was never the same.

Now, Bonnie wanted space and he didn't know what to do.

He had never liked giving her space even when they tolerated each other. He had found every reason to crowd her, so much that in conversations she'd often snap, back the fuck up Damon! As they became friends he offered her little to no more space as he was always at her side, unless they were on the outs. Now, that they were close, it was harder to offer her what she wanted, which was essentially separation for him period.

He had never felt like this before, it was like he was waiting for the other shoe to drop, wait for her to end things with him, and the kicker was she was never his girlfriend. He felt brokenhearted for something that was never really his to begin with.

Had this been another woman he had cared about, he would've shrugged and continued doing what he wanted to do. But with Bonnie, he had seen that look in her eye, the look that said "If you keep playing, you're going to lose me for good." And he didn't want to lose her.

So he gave her, her space. He hadn't called, although he wanted to hear her voice. Or texted, despite the fact that his fingers were itching to send her something, anything.

Now, here he was out here looking lost without his friend and for the first time he felt alone.

Sitting on a park bench he pulls out his phone, his finger hovers over her name, he thinks about it, really thinks about it and remembers what Vincent had told him. He needed to get his shit together. Instead of calling her, he dials his brother, whom he hadn't spoken to in a while.

Predictable and reliable, Stefan picks up.

"Damon, you're calling me, what's wrong?" Stefan asks knowingly.

He lets out a bitter sigh. "Bonnie and I got into a fight." He breathes into the phone. "She wants space." He says simply, though it's not simple at all.

Stefan lets out a dry chuckle. "I'm sure the two of you will be fine. Speaking of making up– maybe you should, I don't know try to make up with E–"

He stops him right then. He doesn't want to talk about Elena not right now, not when Bonnie and the impending doom that surrounds him is on his mind. "I have a question to ask you," He says cutting Stefan off. "Out of the two of us, you're obviously the better brother," He swallows hard. "The better person, and despite that, your ex boyfriend is Klaus Mikaelson, what's so great about him?"

He can tell by the silence that he's hit a nerve because well, that's what he does when it come to Stefan, however when his brother speaks again he's all ears.

"I don't know why you want to know, or what you've gotten into,"Stefan says. "But the reason someone could be so attracted to Klaus wether that be friendship or more is because Klaus wants his companion to be themselves. With him, it's not about being better or badder, it just about indulgence and whatever it is you want at that moment." Pause. "When he wants you, he just wants you and he wants you to be whoever you are." Sigh. "No smoke or mirrors."

The curse that leaves his mouth is instant. "He's got his sights on Bonnie." He whispers the taste rotten in his mouth. "They've been screwing."

Silence.

"Stefan!"

Sigh. "He's always had a thing for witches, I'm surprised he hadn't noticed her earlier." Pause. "I'm just surprised she went for it."

He licks his lips. "How do I beat him?"

"You can't win against Klaus, you might as well throw the towel in and come back so you and Elena,"

Once again he cuts him off. "Elena is a vampire Stefan, the three of us have eternity to go round and round in our circle of doom." He snaps. "The only reason why she even fell in that damn hole was because she was upset you started seeing someone new and I didn't care at all! She wants us both." He finally admits. "Which shouldn't shock either one of us because well, that's how we ended up here in the first place."

Stefan breaths heavy. "She's your girlfriend now, you wanted her, you fought tooth and nail, even stabbed me in the back to get her, so you come home and take care of her." Stefan growls.

He chuckles. "Why when you're doing such a good job at it?" He snaps. "I have to keep an eye out for Bonnie, you take care of Elena . . . you were always better than it then I."

And with that he ends the call.

Bonnie

At the magic shop we hand managed to make an elixir that tasted like a strawberry milkshake which was fine with me. Between, me, Lucy and Vincent, the process was rather quick. We also managed to retrieve my turquoise earrings and necklace. I had been able to teleport myself from the shop back to the house, and not only grabbed my jewelry but my spell book as well.

Vincent had also volunteered to keep his ears open to any information about someone attacking me. Though he thought not a single soul would brag about that because it was beyond stupid. I had graciously thanked him for helping as much as he did. After all he was Lucys friend but he appeared to care for me like I was one of his own.

Now we were preparing me for Klaus.

I was oddly nervous which never happened. The last date, or something that may have resembled a date that was not with Damon had been with Enzo and that night, had been the night I had ended things with him. Sometimes I could still hear him screaming after me to come back whenever it rained really hard.

"Are you excited?" Lucy asks as she curls my hair with the flat iron.

"Kind of." I say before I apply my lipstick, which was a bold shade of red. Since coming here this was starting to be one of my favorite shades to wear on my lips. Usually I would wear nude colors as to not stand out, but with every day that passed I was distancing myself from the old Bonnie. "Why he needs to take me out is beyond me?" I mutter.

Lucy finishes my hair and then runs her fingers through it. "Maybe he likes you?"

I send her a look from the mirror. "He likes me just as much as I like him, in bed."

Raised brows she speaks. "So you say, but you've been grinning every single time you get a text message and I bet if I took a look you were getting messages from Klaus."

My mouth is open ready to deny it and stop all together. "We have an agreement, whatever is going on between us is easy and fun, no strings attached, no promises of love, just fun."

Lucy only chuckles. "Good."

Once I'm ready, I had settled upon something that was casual enough so that I didn't look like I was trying too hard. A white romper that crossed the back with turquoise belt.

Vincent pops his head in to check on us when it gets too quiet only to see me and Lucy sitting together whispering. He shakes his head but still grin at the two of us.

"Wait a minute, I need a mans perspective, what do you think?"

Vincent stands before the two of us, looking me up and down. "You look good, your lipstick is a bit red but the guy your date sucks blood so, you got this."

With that Vincent leaves Lucy and I alone where we look out at each other grin. Gotta love Vincent, he was straight up all the time.

Klaus

After sending out the order to find who had hurt Bonnie, he had spent the rest of the day with his family. Haley had brought Hope over which had made things much better seeming that everyone was now under the same roof. Everyone had seemed to take much joy in the fact that dear old Elijah was smitten over a simple kiss. It was quite entertaining to watch his prim and proper brother squirm under the intense lens Bekah had put on him.

What was even better was the fact that both Hope and Marcel were with him now. He watched as his son colored with his now six year old daughter. It was times like this he liked the most. Hope was talking about one thing or another and Marcel being his charming self had managed to get his little one to light up. For all he knew they could be talking about sweets, which was a Hope Mikaelson favorite, or they could be talking about cartoons which was still a favorite for just about everyone. Marcel still liked to watch the cartoons from the 1970's to early 1990's while his daughter watched anything you put in front of her.

"Aren't you the proud papa?" Rebekah calls walking up to him. She rest her head on his shoulder while he continues to just watch in awe of the current scene in front of him.

He puffs out his chest. "Well, when you know, you know and I have good kids." He says a proud look on his face. "Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to join the two of them before they forget all about me."

Soon he joins his children, but not before closing the double doors to the t.v. room. Upon his entrance Hope hops up and runs over to him. In that moment he realizes, he couldn't possibly be happier.

Once he had been finished fulfilling his fatherly duties he had set up everything for his outing with Bonnie tonight. Originally he had planned on taking her to one of his homes further out, in a more secluded area so that the two of them could be as wild and free as they wanted to be. He had no doubt she would enjoy it, carnal pleasure was always fun. But, she'd expect that of him. He certainly made it no secret that he itched to have her again.

However, a change in direction would do no harm, and hence the reason why he had set up the best night she'd had since leaving his bed. He promised to make her crave him and he intended to make good on his promise.

Stepping out of his car, he makes it to the doorstep in mere seconds. He wonders if she's nervous, if she spent the whole day wondering what he had in store for her? A smile finds it's way to his lips. She'd never see this thing coming.

When he was done with her, she wouldn't just crave his body, his taste, she crave his everything, his time, his presence...him.

He rings the doorbell, followed adjusting his leather jacket. Today he had opted for something different altogether. He's wearing dark blue jeans, a white v neck shirt and a brown leather jacket. He finished off his look with brown combat boots, because, well one must always be ready for combat.

When the door swings open, the smile drops from his lips. He was expecting to see Lucy at least, Bonnie, maybe, but Vincent Griffith, not at all.

"They aren't ready yet, but you can come in, Lucy said it's cool." The warlock says opening the door.

The first thing that comes to mind is that this is some kind of set up. It wouldn't be the first time someone set him up. In fact he and Bonnie had first fought during a set up. However, he knew the witch was one that was honest to a fault, and after what occurred this morning, it was easy to deduce his paranoia was just showing its ugly head.

Stepping over the threshold, he is ushered to the sofa while Vincent sits in the chair. The warlock looks him over weary.

"How long have they been at this?" He asks looking down at his watch.

Vincent looks bored but speaks. "Longer than you've been sitting, but" The warlock says with a shrug of the shoulders. "It's a girl thing."

He hums in response.

Vincent takes this as a sign to continue speaking. "Listen, I don't really know what's going between you and Bonnie and I don't need to know," The warlock says with a shudder.

That earns a hearty chuckle for him. He had no plans on sharing what he planned for Bonnie, not with anyone. They had agreed to go with the flow, but everyone with eyes knew what some of it was to entail.

"However," Vincent says leaning forward in his chair. "That girl has been through hell and back, far more than someone her age should've went through." Pause. "If you do anything to hurt her, you won't just have Lucy to deal with, you'll have me to deal with as well."

He stands at once as Vincent does the same. Not many people had the balls to threatened him. It was pointless because he did what he wanted to do when he wanted to do it. And the most important thing was that he could not be defeated, nor killed. But he could defeat others.

"You, a mere warlock are threatening me?" He says eyeing the man up and down.

Vincent shakes his head. "Yeah, a mere warlock is threatening you. I take care of my own, Lucy is like family, which makes Bonnie family as well."

He nods in return, impressed by the fierce look he sees in the warlocks eyes. He meant it, this was his truth. And he respected him for it. "Taking care of what's yours is an important trait. I take care of my own too, which means Bonnie will be fine with me." He says his lips hitching up in a smirk.

Before any more words could be shared the bedroom door swings open revealing Bonnie Bennett in all her tempting glory.

Bonnie

It appeared that once that our timing was perfect because as soon as we had made it to the living room, Klaus and Vincent were doing weird thing guys did when they stared each other down. I had to admit that although most would say that Klaus and his glare was scary but Vincent looked like he wasn't playing any games at all.

"What's going on?" Lucy asks coming to stand amongst the guys.

"Nothing, just a friendly reminder." Vincent says causing Lucy to nod.

As for Klaus, when he finally turned my way, I had to quill the sudden excitement I got at the way his eyes had dilated on sight.

"Hey." I say casually standing in front of Klaus.

He takes his time his eyes perusing me. My skin flushes at the sudden heat in his eyes.

"You ready?" Klaus asks stepping into my personal space.

I press my lips together and nod my head. "Yeah." I can feel my heart beat accelerating at the closeness and have to remind myself to chill out. This was Klaus, the same Klaus I had nearly defeated. He wasn't nearly as scary as he thought. However, he was also the one of the few people who had dared to save me, and I think that was making me feel all sorts of things some of it good, some of it bad.

When I turn to Lucy she's got her mouth slanted in a smirk. I give her the peace sign only for her to get in front of us. Klaus looks mildly amused, while Vincent has already gone to the kitchen for something to eat. I on the other hand am praying my very brazen cousin can keep it together.

"Lucy?" I say with a brow raised.

"Bonnie." Lucy says with her hands on her hips.

I share a look with Klaus then look back at Lucy. "We're on our way out."

Grin. "Of course you are but first,"

Suddenly Lucy whips out her cell phone "I need a picture for the scrapbook."

I frown. "This is not some school dance, where pictures and flowers are required." I deadpan.

Lucy licks her lips. "No." Grin. "But this night has to be captured."

Once again I look to Klaus who only chuckles. I look over at him like dude do not encourage her.

"The sooner we do this, the sooner your all mine." Klaus says breathing against my lips. "You have no idea what I have in store for you?" Klaus asks all at once gripping my hip.

In the background I can hear Lucy snapping away with her phone. Goodness now she had proof that I was about to melt in front of everyone. My eyes dart to his lips, and I'm dying to kiss them. His voice had me out here craving, and his touch, made me remember all the way his hands had moved all over me.

I quirk my lips to the side. "This better be worth it."

He chuckles and when we both turn to Lucy she snaps the picture.

BB-KM-BB

Like the gentleman I never knew he could be, Klaus opens the door for me. The car of choice is a midnight blue vintage convertible. Its nice, probably cost a fortune and I'm seriously afraid I'm going to pull to hard on the seat belt.

Upon entering the car, the first thing that caught me attention was a silk scarf. I looked over to Klaus with questioning eyes.

"I told you, if you played your cards right, you might earn a silk scarf."

I chuckle. "Well, it's nice, I might have to use it to tie your hands." I say causing him to snort. I, in the meantime put the scarf over my hair, because wind blown hair can go one of two ways, good or bad and I wasn't really feeling like taking any chances.

He lips curve into a smothered smile. "You assume you'll get that far with me."

I lean over to the side and whisper in his ear. "It's all but guaranteed."

BK-BK-BK-BK

We've been driving some time when Klaus finally pulls into a crowded parking lot. I expect him to park along with everyone else who is at the drive in, but Klaus pulls his car up in another direction and soon we're over looking the whole drive in.

It's on top of a hill where we can get a full view of everything and what makes it even more better is that I see that speaker is already set up for us.

"In case you haven't noticed, I'm taking you to a drive in." He says waiting for me to catch on.

My lips curve into a grin. "I thought those died out eons ago?"

He parks the car and turns to look at me. "Not this one. This is owned by a good friend of mine, you might like her, she's a witch." He says proudly.

My lips twitched. "Why do I get the feeling you've had a harem of witches at one time or another."

He leans close to me. "Jealous?" he asks his lips twitching to hide a chuckle.

I nudge him. "You wish." I say removing the scarf off my head and running my hands through my hair. When I look up Klaus is looking at me, really looking at me.

"What?" I asks as he runs his hand across my cheek.

When he cradles my face seconds later our lips meet and it's the kind of kiss that leaves you wanting more. My hands are gripping the hairs at the base of his neck, wanting and needing more, while he pulls away slowly, his eyes dancing.

"I hope you're in the mood for gore love," He says a satisfied smirk on his red stained lips. "Tonight is eighties horror movie night and we've got them all lined up." He says gleeful.

I lean back in my seat, my heart still beating fast from the way he held me, the way he kissed me.

"Sounds good to me, my grams use to have us watching this stuff when I was a kid. Sheila Bennett loved four things, her soaps, her horror movies, me and her alcohol."

He chuckles. "When I met her, she loved to dance as well."

I sit up instantly. "You knew grams?" I ask surprised. "And she like, liked you?" My brows are furrowed.

He grins wickedly. "I gave her the best flowers, but back then she was a burlesque dancer."

I'm leaning back in my seat now while Klaus is giggling like a fool. "Relax love, no penetration ever occurred."

I let out a disgusted sound that only made Klaus dimple in return. It seemed he found my reaction rather amusing, entertaining even. I was just trying to wipe the image of him probably trying and failing at hitting on my grams. I had one word for him right now, disgusting.

His eyes roam over my face as I continue to look forward.

"You look so rigid love, let me take care of that."

I send him a withering look which only causes him to dimple again. "Touch me, and you may pull back a limb."

This time he does grin. In fact he boldly puts his arm around my seat and me. "You are aware, that I enjoy feisty, jealous Bonnie," He grins again. "It gives me tingles." He says way too jolly.

Of course during his million or so years living he would have a bedded a bunch of people. I just didn't want to think about it. "You're like a million years old,"

He places his hand on my shoulder all the while rubbing it up and down. "Try over a thousand."

"Whatever," I say fixing him with my eyes. "I don't want to talk about your harem, it makes me itch."

He licks his lips. "I think it's making you jealous." He says chuckling when I send a withering look in his direction yet again. "And you brought it up, not me."

He's right, I said it as a joke though. I just didn't really think that joke through. He was probably with so many people, our time together was probably mediocre compared to his pasts conquest.

Klaus lifts my chin and turns it to him, causing our eyes to meet. "Hey, whatever you're thinking, don't think it." grin. "We are, easy," He says his other hand rest on my knee. "Breezy," He says as his fingers dance up my leg to my belly. "And fun." He says squeezing my breast.

He was right of course, I was just having a moment. It was a small moment, but a moment enough for him to tell that I was starting to freak out. Suddenly I shift in my seat and get a good look at him. "Why am I not surprised that you like horror classics?" I say changing the subject.

Klaus then turns to me. "Probably because you know that I enjoy the thrill of the hunt." Pause. He reaches out to touch my face, a move that is not what I'm use to. "Of all kinds," He says as denim blue eyes fall onto my lips. "You do too." He says dragging his eyes up to my face. "You, like me enjoy the hunt, the game... that's why you're still here."

Those were powerful words, words that were all true. I enjoyed this game we were playing more than I thought I would.

"You think you know me, so well after a couple hours in bed?" I ask a brow raised.

He reaches for me then, when his fingers touch my skin, I feel like a light switch has been turned on. "You enjoy the spark at your fingertips, the rush you feel while crushing your opponents." He makes a move to grab my hand and place it between us. "And knowing, you did this to me."

My hand soon slides against hot skin. I realize that maybe, just maybe he's right. In fact I know he's right when he bucks up into my hand. I watch his face, as his eyes change colors and the way I feel about being able to do this and make him feel this way, proves his point.

Before things go too far, I pull away form him. If he's upset, I can't tell, no instead he looks at me like, I told you so.

I can't even hide my grin. "The movies about to start." I say innocently.

Out of the corner of my eye, I watch as he fixes himself, I nearly bite my lip spilling blood as the sound of his zipper echoes between us. When I finally dare to look over, he's already looking at me, knowingly.

Instead of saying anything, he just slides closer to me as the convertible will allow. "Well love, looks like you were right, the movie is finally ready." He leans close to whisper in my ear. "Let the games begin."

The movie appeared on the screen shortly after. We spent our time at the drive in watching horror classics I had seen a million times. The difference though was that Klaus had made this task much more fun then it had been before. Many times he had pointed out the villains flaws. He also claimed that he would've succeeded in everything he did, if he was in any of the movies.

I on the other hand only critiqued the movies, when the woman lead of final girl fell down or broke a shoe. I must admit, if I had ever been a final girl in a horror movie, I would get the most hits I could get in.

When the last movie is in its credits I can feel his eyes on me and for the life of me I can't resist looking over at him.

"You know, you're final girl worthy, perhaps even better." He muses. He's got this lazy smirk on his plump lips and I'm dying to just grab him and kiss him.

"Really?" I ask running my hands through my hair.

"Yes." Pause. "You fight with all you've got, and you never give up."

I feel my face flush at his words. "That's probably one of the sweetest things anyone has said about me in a long time." Smile. "You know," I say finally looking his way again. "For what it's worth, you're much scarier than those horror movie villains."

He looks so smug, so happy to hear that he's a good villain. He touches his chest, and my eyes go to the patch of skin exposed by the v neck shirt. How nice would it look to have my lipstick prints on his chest, maybe even more.

"I'm touched love." He says holding his chest again.

I wink his way. "I'm not afraid of you, and I could end you, but– you're in your own lane."

"Wow." He says suddenly, but he's got a gleam in his eyes that I like, I like it a lot.

He makes a move to grab me and soon is tinkling me causing me to giggle like nothing before. I'm super ticklish and squirm to get away from him, with no avail. Before I know it, he's got me hauled up from my seat and he's planted me on his lap, so I'm straddling him.

His fingers that were once ticking me, now push my hair out of my face. My head dips low causing our foreheads to touch. My hands touche his face. "What do you want from me?" I ask my voice coming out shaky.

He swallows hard, and I watch his Adams apple move. "The same thing you want from me."

That's all I need to hear. Our lips meet in a tender kiss, my hands wrapping around his neck, while his wrap around my back.

Th pace soon shifts as our kisses are much deeper, our touches more frenzied. We start to grind, our clothes being the only saving grace.

"I could take you right out here," Klaus breathes against my lips. "And you'd let me, with no care at all."

I peer into his blue eyes and smirk. "Only if you let me tie your hands later."

I expect him to say something, instead he just crashes his lips onto mine.

With each moment that passed, with each kiss we shared, I kept hearing the words whispered in the distance that this was just the beginning.
