Being inside the dark room, Law inspected the premises. However, apart from a few empty crates, he saw nothing of interest. Yet just this empty room was something he didn't expect to find.
"So this bunker exists." He remarked, as he was inside.
"The weapons were in the wooden boxes." Nami assured him. "The others took the swords and other weapons that were there."
" And there really were no firearms? "
"I haven't seen anything like it." Nami assured.
Along the walls of the room, Law began to tap the plaster, while pressing his ear against the wall. Moving slowly, he tried to hear a noise different from the others.
"What are you doing?" Nami questioned him.
"This bunker...I'm trying to find out if it has a secret room! If so, it should make a noise..."
He suddenly fell silent, while tapping an area of the noise produced a much louder sound.
"It's hollow." He remarked.
"What does that mean?" Nami questioned, approaching. "Do you think there's something here?"
Putting his hand on the wall, Law noticed that this area was much more fragile.
"It's placo."
And with a kick, he pulverized the wall area. Immediately, he saw a small cavity where there were some additional weapons. So he grabbed a sword and what looked like a fighting stick.
"Other weapons?"
Finally, exiting the bunker, Law and Nami noticed that there was no one around the building.
"Where's Strawhat-ya?" Law asked.
Immediately, a figure dropped from a tree.
"I'm here." Luffy affirmed. "So, you're done exploring this place! Did it have any interesting stuff?"
"There's nothing down there." Nami stated. "Just two weapons! However, this bunker can become a safe place for us! Don't you think so, Law?"
" No, it's dangerous to stay in there. " The young boy retorted thoughtfully.
"Huh? Why?"
"Think! The monsters attacking us are so-called 'prehistoric' monsters and yet there is this bunker that is on this island."
Trying to come up with an explanation, Law groaned as a headache began to set in.
"I don't understand anything about it anymore! This island is not supposed to exist and many extinct animals live there! Let's admit that it was never discovered - which is impossible - how did this bunker appear here ? Someone has to build it. "
"Maybe the person who built it landed on this island and died without being able to leave it." Luffy suggested.
"Baka! This bunker is mostly made of metal, concrete, and plaster! These kinds of materials are not found on an island."
"People have discovered this island and settled there." Nami understood. "And this bunker must surely be a shelter to protect against animals! But, in that case, why is it empty?"
"What do I know about it?"
Growling again, Law finally declared.
"Moving to this bunker might not be a good idea! There's no corpse or trace of blood in there, and nothing around that looks like a grave! So there's no evidence that the people who built it are dead."
"Do you think they're on the island?" Nami asked.
"If it is, they managed to leave the island" Luffy remarked.
"Leaving behind weapons?" Law questioned. "That's completely stupid."
"In the end, examining this bunker only increased the number of our questions." Nami remarked.
"Let's forget that for now." Law advised, hooking the saber he had just found to his belt. "Currently, we will focus on surviving and staying on the plane."
"Great! And when do we eat?" Luffy asked.
Holding the baton, Nami groaned before using it to smack Luffy in the head.
"You and your damn stomach."
" Luckily there are plenty of fruit trees around. " Nami remarked, while cutting some sort of large mango. "With all this, I can easily make several fruit dishes! Luffy, pass me one of those that look like kiwis, please."
"There's no more." Luffy managed to articulate, while trying to swallow the fruit he already had inside his mouth.
Immediately, Nami turned to him before roaring.
"You brainless hamster! I thought I said we had to save the food! Do you really think I'm going back to this forest until your stomach is satisfied?"
"If you want, I can..."
As he spoke with his mouth full, Luffy gulped. Immediately, he began to cough and spat out, at the same time, some of the fruit he still had in his mouth. When the crisis was over, his heart skipped a beat. In front of him was Nami, with her face covered with pieces of fruit he had just spat out.
Strangely, Luffy saw him smiling. then, second by second, many veins of anger appeared on her face, as she grabbed her new combat staff.
Then, a second later, a crashing noise was heard, as Luffy's body flew out of the plane part he was on.
"That I don't see you hanging around here again." Nami warned him.
Understanding that he couldn't go back to eat some fruit, Luffy walked away and joined Law, who was sitting at the top of the evacuation slide, in the frame of the exit. Seeing him typing on the keys of his computer, Luffy stared at the screen.
" What are you doing ? "
"I'm working on a virtual map." He explained to him, still looking away from his computer. "It will surely be useful to us, sooner or later."
"A virtual map?" Luffy repeated, seeing the image of a 3-D island begin to take shape on his screen. "Sounds fun! Can I help you?"
"Do you know how to use Java?"
" What is that ? "
Sighing, Law said.
"I thought so! So I would appreciate it if you don't help me! I'm afraid you'll destroy my computer."
Annoyed, Luffy walked away while sticking his tongue out at the boy.
"They both piss me off. " He thought, walking down the aisle of the plane. " They say 'brainless' or 'idiot' all the time! I may be a brainless idiot but… but I admit it! I'm getting bored! What can I do now?"
At that moment, he thought of Shirahoshi.
"If I remember correctly, she told us that she had failed her recruitment exam several times! So there may be someone more stupid than me on this plane." He thought, as he left looking for her. "I wonder if she'll want to play hide and seek."
After a few minutes of searching, Luffy saw Shirahoshi outside, with several medicine bottles and boxes around her, and in the company of the two flying squirrels she had seen yesterday. Apparently, the two animals were not at all frightened by the young woman and vice versa.
"What..." Luffy wondered. "What are you doing, Weakhoshi?"
"Luckily, a lot of medicine remained on board the plane," the stewardess told him. "I'm making a list of what we have."
"And them?" I asked, pointing to the two creatures, who were curled up on those knees.
"I feel like they got attached to me." She told him. "At the end of the day, I find them pretty good company, those two little furballs! They look like hamsters."
"But… do you know anything about medicine?"
"Not at all." Shirahoshi confessed to him. "Law asked me to do this."
Trying to sound confident, she declared.
"If Nami and Law are doing what they can to ensure our survival, it's normal that I help them! After all, I'm weak, fearful, not very intelligent, not enduring..."
Listing her faults, Shirahoshi ends up sobbing.
" I am useless. "
"Huh…do you want me to help you?" Luffy questioned.
"I don't mind." she said, taking out a notebook and a pen. "Read me the labels of the bottles right next to you so I can transcribe them."
Luffy immediately took one of the vials she was pointing at him. Quite large, it measured ten centimeters in diameter and contained a brownish liquid. When he tried to read the label, he noticed that the name of the medicine was very long and written in English.
" Huh? I don't know how to read this. »
"What's wrong?" Shirahoshi asked him, noticing that Luffy didn't say anything.
" I can't read. " Luffy confessed to her, falling on all fours.
" It's shameful! I really am the dumbest of the bunch! »
"Damn it!" Luffy growled, playing on a PS-Vita, which he had just picked up off the floor of the plane.
Being back on the plane, Luffy was behind Law, while he questioned him.
"Tra-o, can we go explore the forest?"
"No way." Law replied. "And didn't I tell you to go somewhere else?"
" But I'm bored. "
"Go help Nami."
"She forbade me to return to where her fruit was stored."
"Go help Shirahoshi with the medicine."
"I can't read their labels."
Growling, Law affirmed.
"I can't even imagine the hell you must have put your brother through! Me, after three days with you, I want to hang myself! Couldn't you just play with your console without making a sound ? "
"It's not working." Luffy told him.
In fact, since earlier, he pretended to play on a broken console, whose screen was cracked. It was completely stupid. But mashing the buttons took away some of my frustration and helped calm her down a bit.
Letting his forehead tap the keyboard of his computer, Law cursed his misfortune to find himself alone with him.
"How is a guy like you a popular student, who is always surrounded by his friends?"
"That's mean." Luffy affirmed.
Then, seeing a khaki green backpack, Luffy grabbed it.
"Let's see what's interesting in it."
As soon as he opened it he saw a manga.
" Cool ! A manga. "
However, leafing through the first few pages, he finally saw an image of a man flirting with another man, while the couple were surrounded by several flowers, which accentuated the romantic scene.
"Huh? A yaoi?"
Hearing that word, Law turned around before roaring.
"Hey, don't go through my bag."
"Huh? This is your bag? And since when do you read manga?"
"I don't need anyone's permission to read it."
"I didn't think you liked reading these kinds of books."
"What? Manga? Or yaoi? Do you mind these kinds of stories?"
"Not really ! The only manga Sanji reads are yuri! He says stories where no man can marry a girl are the best."
"It doesn't surprise me about him." Law stated.
Again there was silence.
" Tra-o ... "
" Huh ? "
" I am bored. "
Growling again, Law nearly threw his computer in Luffy's face, knocking him out. Nevertheless, managing to keep his composure, he contented himself with looking at the landscape around them before heaving a sigh.
" What's the matter ?" Wanted to know Luffy.
"I'm starting to worry! Nami swore to us that we were the only people she had seen for two days! And even today we have not seen any trace of a fifth person who would have survived And no sign of rescue either."
" If this island is not listed on any map while man has been traveling the oceans for decades, it is certain that we are not ready to see a plane for a while. " Luffy remarked. "As for the survivors, they must be too frightened by their bad encounters, who must not even know where the plane is anymore."
"Perhaps, but now that they know we are prey, we may get more and more attacks from the creatures of this island! We must not forget that we are on their territory! Andrewsarchus can return here at all times! Also, I remind you that our goal is not to survive here until we die, but to be able to leave this damn island before I become a grandfather."

This sentence surprised Luffy.

We are free to do as we please as if the cages in which we were locked up had just been opened! Heaving a weary sigh, Law pinched the bridge of his nose as he declared.
"I'm really going to congratulate Ace for being able to put up with you all these years! Mugiwara, have you ever seen movies about the end of the world? People don't hesitate to fight or kill others to survive."
"Tsss! This kind of thing is impossible, Tra-o! Whatever happens, I don't believe in any way that people can change that much."
"When we watched the collective fight that had been caused by the panic, I noticed that several people, whether boys or girls, fought against friends of theirs! For me, such a situation would never have happened in our normal life."
" Maybe it's not wrong. »

With his words, he walked away leaving him alone, while Luffy was lost in thought and trying to decipher what he was trying to say.

" What did Tra-o mean? " Luffy wondered, picking up a tin can.
Unable to find a better way to make himself useful, the boy had decided to pass the time, picking up all the trash that had been scattered around the plane. Stacking them in a corner, he managed to form a small pyramid with the boxes and plastic bottles.
"Why didn't Law want to explain to me what he wanted to tell me? He knows I'm an idiot though."
While once again circling the plane, he began to sigh when he saw that nothing was lying around.
"Besides, I can be bored here! On an island like this, I'm not ready to come across an arcade or a restaurant and there are no rooms movie theaters around! Honestly, there's really nothing to do on this damned island except survive! Besides, Nami and Law forbade me from exploring the forest! It's unfair."
Suddenly noticing some rubbish lying around near the edge of the forest, he walked towards them and began to pick them up.
"I don't want to become the island's garbage man," He remarked. "I want to be an explorer."
At that moment, a bush moved not far from him.
« Hum ? »
Another bush moved too.
" Could it be an animal?" Luffy wondered, trying to catch a glimpse of him.
Suddenly, Luffy remembered the moment when the Andrewsarchus had suddenly appeared and killed AO and the other others.
" Now that I think about it, what if those monsters had come back to fill their stomachs again?" »
at that moment, a normal person would surely have fled or, on the contrary, would have remained motionless so as not to make the slightest film. However, far from being scared, Luffy clenched his fists, before roaring.
" Who is here ? "
For a moment there was no movement or noise. He still didn't move, but Luffy continued to stare at the forest, trying to catch the slightest silhouette. However, he ends up quitting his fighting stance.
" Maybe it was one of the rodents accompanying Weakhoshi!" Or maybe the wind. »
Half reassured, he picked up the trash at his feet. Then, turning, he walked towards the plane.
Unfortunately, at that moment, a figure left the forest and rushed towards Luffy. Not even having time to react, Luffy received a blow to the head. He didn't know how, since the shock had literally knocked him out. He just felt a hot liquid running down his forehead and, without realizing it, he fell to the ground with a big wound on the back of his head. The blow echoed in his head like the Big Bang.
" What is happening ? »
Before losing consciousness, he could glimpse the outlines of a human face leaning towards him, with a pebble in its hand. Seeing the scarlet color on the latter, Luffy guessed that was what this stranger had just hit him with.
" But… But why? »
" On this island, there are no more laws! '' Law explained to him.
Luffy then passed out.
