Chapter 11
"Tell me, Nami-san, are you Luffy-san's girlfriend?" Shirahoshi asked her, putting on the top of her uniform that Nami had just recovered at the torn places.
" Eh ? " Nami wondered. "Not at all! Who told you that?"
Yet, you both seem to be very close.
"We're just friends." Nami retorted, without hesitation. "In truth..."
Repeating all the times Nami felt like killing Luffy because of his stupidity or the trouble he created, Nami said.
"In truth, if he manages to get married, I wish Luffy's future wife good luck! She needed it to support him."
"Don't you like Luffy-san?"
"If I didn't like him, I wouldn't consider him my friend! Luffy is kind, and he is an honest person who thinks of his friends before himself! However, he is very very very annoying."
" Really ? "
"Yes! He keeps getting in trouble! He's never been serious at school! He sleeps in class! He skips class! In fact, for the past two years, I've spent my days assisting Ace in order to monitor him and make sure he avoids repeating a year or being expelled from high school.

At that moment, rethinking that it was Luffy, Law and Nami couldn't help but think what happened.

However, none of them suspected what had really happened and the danger that awaited their friend.
At that moment, Luffy slowly opened his eyes. For the first few seconds, he found that his vision was blurry and his left eye was surrounded by dried blood. He had a terrible headache, even worse than after receiving Nami's most powerful punch. He had the horrible feeling that someone had just hit him with a huge hammer. He wanted to put his hands on his poor head, but he couldn't move them.
" What is happening ? " He asks himself.
Gradually recovering his senses, he began to feel the impression that his whole body was floating in the air and he never saw land in his field of vision. In fact, his feet didn't seem to touch any patch of ground.
" Am I in heaven? »
Finally, his eyesight returned to normal and he was able to understand his situation. He had been tied up, like a sausage, and hung from the branch of a tree at the very top of a cliff. But what frightened him the most, was when he noticed that the branch, where he was tied, was above the void. He swung fifty feet above the ground, with only a piece of rope to hold him back.
"But… But what am I doing here?" He wanted to know.
Suddenly, he remembers his attack while he was walking near the plane.
"I remember someone knocked me out, with I don't know what, and I lost consciousness! But why did he come after me? »
In any case, given the situation he was in, he doubted that his attacker had contented himself with bringing him here so that he could admire the view. He would surely come back to finish him off. Yet surprisingly Luffy remained calm.

Wearing a red mask that covers his entire face above his mouth, he blocked Luffy from seeing his eyes, which were hidden behind a yellow filter. He was dressed all in red, with an open shirt, which revealed his tattoos on his chest. Her hair was light pink and flowed down her back. He also wore yellow earrings and a cigarette that was visible between his lips.
"Finally awake?"
"Hey, who are you?" Luffy insisted, ready to settle accounts with him. " Why did you hit me? I did absolutely nothing to you! Wait till I break free, I promise I'll kick your ass. "
He didn't answer her. To tell the truth, he seemed to ignore her completely and preferred to pick up a large stone that was lying at his feet.
"Hey, I'm talking to you." Luffy roared.
" It'll do. " The stranger declared, sitting down cross-legged on the ground.
The masked man took another stone from his pocket and began to smash them together.
" What are you doing ? "
" I'm starting to get scared now! If it is, he wants to create sparks to set fire to the tree and burn me with it! »
"Hey, Mask-guy!" Luffy called out, because of his mask. " What are you planning to do by breaking these stones?"
Still no response from him.
"But who is this guy? He's an adult... is he one of the teachers? No, I don't recognize him! But then, is that one of the people building the bunker near the plane? Is he an inhabitant of this island? "
"Are you going to answer me?"
"Mugiwara... you're annoying." The stranger asserted, exhaling a column of smoke. "Don't you know how to be quiet?"
"Be quiet ? Hey, it's your fault I'm here! Because of this, I'm going to scream until you release me! And then, after I punch your face, you tell me who you are." are and where are we."
Hearing Luffy keep screaming, the stranger heaved a sigh of annoyance before turning back to him.

"Your plan? What plan?"
Staring at Luffy, the man smiled.
"I will eliminate all weak people from this island."
"Eliminate? Why are you behaving like that in such a situation? How long are you on this island? Instead of having fun killing us, you don't want our help to leave this place? Anyway, as soon as Law and the others find out that I have been captured, they will come to rescue me."
"Tsss! Because you really believe that your friends will come to save you?"
"Of course! I could always count on my friends to help me out."
With another weary sigh, Who's Who retorted.
"No matter what, you will die tonight."
" No, I don't want to. " Luffy retorted. "And why do you want to kill me? I'm not weak. "
"It's not just you, everyone will die on this island! All the passengers on the plane will all go through it one by one! And the only way for them to prevent that would be to kill me."
"He wants to kill everyone? »

"Of course! I know everything about you, as well as the other people who were with you, on the plane, whether it was your friends or... your brother."
Showing a sadistic smile, he declared.
"And that's him! The man who killed the pilot...he's your brother."
Hearing this, Luffy's eyes widened. Then, showing nothing but anger, he roared.
"Stop talking bullshit! Ace is not a murderer."
"Yet you saw it, didn't you? The camera footage showing your brother killing the pilot! You can deny it all you want, but your brother is . .."
"ACE IS NOT A KILLER;" Luffy roared.
Seeming to appreciate seeing the rage on his face, Who's Who simply shrugged.

"Don't worry! " He said to him, hooking the handaxe to the end of his branch before wrapping it with the vine. " You won't be alone for very long! You'll see that your friends will join you soon in the afterlife. "

A large drop of sweat ran down Luffy's forehead, who was really starting to get scared.

It had been more than two hours that Luffy's companions had been looking for him without finding the slightest clue explaining his sudden disappearance. They were far from suspecting that he was hanging from a branch, above the void, with only company, a madman who wanted to become the greatest serial killer in history. The only thing they did know, though, was that he was definitely in danger.
"That jerk! Where the hell did he go?" Law wondered. "However, we searched everywhere, whether on the plane or in the surrounding area."
"Law, we need to explore the forest more." Nami affirmed.
"No way!" Retorted Law. "It's far too dangerous to go out after dark! If the andrewsarchus ever came back to fill their bellies again, that would be the end of us! We have to wait for the sun to rise so we can continue the searches."
"Do you think he got lost?" Shirahoshi asked.
"It's entirely possible." Law asserted, knocking a seat. "This idiot will always find a way to freak us out.
" No, it's not that. " Nami retorted. "Luffy gets in a lot of trouble but... knowing him a little, I know very well that he wouldn't make such kind of mistakes! By getting lost in the forest, he knew that we would go find him and that We'll be in danger because of him! He's not the kind of person who would enjoy doing that. And ... "
Looking down, she looked at a straw hat she was holding in her hands. "He would never have left without his hat.""Then where is he?" Law asked.
" Something must have happened. " Nami affirmed. "He may have been attacked and someone kidnapped him afterwards! Law, we really need to find him, before something bad happens to him!
The boy was about to reply when a huge jolt was felt. It was so sudden and powerful that it pinned the three companions against the ground.
"What was that?" the boy questioned, after the phenomenon had stopped as quickly as it had come.
Getting up, he passed his hand over his face and found that he was bleeding from the nose after hitting the ground too hard.
" Is it me or something big seems to have hit the aircraft head-on?" »
"It's starting again." Nami panicked, clutching a seat to get up.
"What are you talking about?" The high school student wanted to know.
Suddenly he remembered what she had said to him yesterday which had left us all perplexed.

They measured at least sixty centimeters and were endowed with such great force that they crushed the entire left side of the porthole in order to enlarge the small opening.
"What are these things?" Shirahoshi yelled, close to fainting.
" That's the real reason, why no one came back. " Law exclaimed, falling backwards. "We are in a territory where titans live."
