A/N: Hi. So I was reading...and I came across this story. And I thought to myself, "wow, this story seems interesting. I would add this and that etc." Then I find out it was my OWN story lmao. So yeah, next chapter is here!

Chapter 5
Ginny Weasley would become a problem. That girl had to be eliminated, and fast.
Fleur Delacour quickly flipped through Hermione Granger's diary, trying to find any information about the Weasley girl.
"Ginny…kidnapped…saved by 'Arry…crush on 'Arry…likes sweets…"
Fleur let out a groan of frustration, furiously flipping even more.
"Nothing!" She exclaimed. "Useless! Useless! All useless!"
"Fleur? Is everything okay?"
At the sound of the voice, she quickly slammed the diary shut and shoved it underneath her desk.
She turned around to see Harry walking into her room with a worried look on his face. "Nothing ees wrong!" Fleur said hurriedly.
He frowned a bit. "Are you sure? I heard shouting."
Fleur gave him a reassuring smile, and got up from her seat to head towards him.
"I was just a bit frustrated," she said softly, grabbing his hands. "Was there something you need, 'Arry?"
Harry seemed a little dazed, but still managed to nod his head. "Ye-yeah," he stammered. "I, actually, I was having a bit of trouble with the spell you showed me yesterday…"
"Oh! I will of course 'elp you 'Arry! Why don't you 'ead outside first?"
"Sure. I'll wait for you."
Fleur watched as Harry left and finally let out the breath that she was holding in.
If he saw anything belonging to the Granger girl, then there would be questions that she wouldn't have answers to.
Well, she would have the answers. However, they weren't exactly answers that she'd want to give to Harry of all people.
Fleur sighed as she turned around to grab the diary. However, she paused slightly, her eyebrow raised when she saw the page it had been left open to.
"Oh?" Fleur picked up the journal, skimming the contents.
"Ginny Weasley…frequents around the chamber…" Fleur mumbled. "Noticed weird potions lying around 'er bedside…"
Fleur closed and stowed away the diary. A small smirk was held on her lips.
She finally found something! Fleur had an idea of what the girl was like now, and plans can start being made.
But now…she had to get her man trained first. A rush of excitement coursed through her as she thought of everything that had happened since her mentorship with Harry.
A few days had already passed since Fleur became Harry's mentor.
In the short time they spent together, she had been able to steadily grow even closer to him. The more she spent time with him, the more she knew that she made the right choice.
He was a lot smarter than he let on. Harry absorbed everything that she taught him like a sponge.
If he kept going at this rate, he could even become stronger than her!
At first she was worried, but then her worries were immediately gone after what had happened last night.
It didn't matter how strong he would become. Matter of fact, the stronger he was, the better for her!
Because Fleur knew that at the end of the day, she had all wrapped around her pretty little finger.
Especially with what happened the night before.
Line break - the Night Before
It was another hard day of training with Fleur for Harry. She worked him mercilessly, putting information after information inside his head.
The French pronunciation of the spells were a bit hard for Harry to get, but eventually he did. After all, one or two words of French being repeated constantly wasn't impossible to understand, especially when you spent hours doing it.
Fleur had told him he could use the shower in her room first, and she'll use it after.
When Harry finished, he got dressed and headed off back into Hogwarts.
Dumbledore would be giving a speech tonight after all. A speech about Hermione.
Harry had heard from Hagrid. He was one of the very few people that Harry still talked to and the one who found her body.
The gentle giant was just as devastated as Harry. The two of them would spend time together, reminiscing about Hermione.
Harry eventually reached the Great Hall as people were finishing up dinner. Eyes immediately stared at him and whispers began starting up.
He slid into a seat at the end of the Gryffindor table, and immediately the entire table went quiet.
A few minutes later, Dumbledore stood up from his chair and began his speech.
"As some of you know," Dumbledore started. "We have lost a beloved student this week. Miss Hermione Granger was found dead just outside the Forbidden Forest by our Care of Magical Creatures Professor, Hagrid."
Gasps erupted throughout the hall. Harry had to keep himself from jumping however, when he caught a snicker from Malfoy over the Slytherin table.
"Some of Miss Granger's belongings were also found inside the Forbidden Forest," Dumbledore continued. "It was concluded that she went out to perform some sort of experiment, and was promptly…killed. By some sort of creature in the forest."
Whispers all around the hall began. The students who knew Hermione, weren't too surprised that she was doing an experiment. However, they were surprised that the girl got herself into trouble, especially with how smart and able she was to avoid such a thing.
"-let us speak, Dumbledore!"
"I'm afraid-"
"She was our daughter!"
Harry looked back up to the front of the hall. He noticed a man and a woman, wrestling with Dumbledore for the spot in front.
"Hermione's parents." Harry thought.
The two of them managed to win by their superior number, and Dumbledore was forced to concede the head of the teacher's dining table.
"Our daughter…" Mrs. Granger began tearfully, "was the best daughter anyone could ask for. But she was taken away from us…by HARRY POTTER!" She screamed the last words.
All eyes in the hall turned to Harry.
Harry just stared at the woman in bewilderment.
This time, it was Mr. Granger who spoke. "All the dangers Harry Potter faced, he dragged our daughter into. The headmaster told us everything!"
"Now now, let's not be hasty-" Dumbledore started nervously. "-and go around telling untruthful things…"
"UNTRUTHFUL?" Mrs. Granger barked. "This is the truth! Harry Potter dragged our daughter to fight a possessed man! She was petrified by so-some sort of s-s-snake! All while trying to help him! And don't even get me started on those soul sucking creatures last year!"
Harry sat there. Still. It didn't matter that everyone heard everything and they all stared at him. No. He cared more about the anger boiling inside him.
Anger at Albus Dumbledore.
Why did he tell them? Hermione went to the deepest lengths to keep what happened at Hogwarts a secret to her parents. Dumbledore knew this. So why…why did he go against her wishes?
But he couldn't hold the anger. It slowly started to die down and was replaced with sadness.
Hermione's parents weren't wrong. All the danger that she faced was his fault. He was the one who dragged her through everything, putting her life at risk.
And now she was dead. Perhaps he had no direct hand in her death, but a big chunk of him still felt guilty. After all, she could've died so many times and it was only luck that she didn't. Maybe…maybe she WAS doing something for him in the forest - where she proceeded to meet her end.
Logically, it couldn't have been his fault that she died, but Harry wasn't exactly feeling like being logical at that moment.
And he wasn't strong enough to hear the rest of whatever they had to say.
Harry stomped out of the Great Hall while wiping tears from his eyes.
He didn't know where he was going. Harry just wandered until finally he found himself in front of a familiar carriage.
It was still a walk away. All he had to do was cross the grounds and pass the Black Lake.
However, before he could continue on, a voice called out to him.
"Harry!"
Said boy whipped around to catch a familiar head of red.
"Ginny?"
"Huff…there…you are…" Ginny panted.
Ginny Weasley looked a bit tired and dusty, but still managed to pull off a bright smile on her face. She was carrying a bag at her side, looking slightly heavy.
Harry blinked for a few seconds before he realized that there were still tears in his eyes. Quickly wiping them, he did his best to return the smile.
"Oh! Um, was there something you needed, Ginny?"
Harry said, forcing a smile.
Ginny had an…unsettling…look on her face. Harry couldn't deduce if it was worry, or strangely enough, excitement. The moonlight shining down upon them only made her seem more ominous.
"I noticed you running away, Harry…" Ginny whispered intensely. "From me…"
A confused look crossed Harry's face at the phrasing of the words. "Um Ginny? What do you-"
"I MEAN-" Ginny coughed violently, interrupting Harry. "You could always come to me for anything. I'm here for you." She said quickly. "And what happened in there tonight…"
Before Harry could even say anything, she had already reached into her bag and pulled out a box of chocolate. In one quick motion, Harry had found the box of chocolate already in his hands.
"Here! You should really try these. Chocolate always makes you feel better!" Ginny explained.
"Oh no, I'm not really that big of a fan of-"
"I made it myself!" Ginny interrupted. "I really put in a lot of…love…in making those!"
Ginny had already opened the box and held it in front of him.
A strange smell filled Harry's nostril. One quick sniff made him want to throw up instantly. However, the smell slowly started to get better until it strangely smelled like Ginny herself.
Looking up from the box, he was met with that strange expression of the girl once more. This time, her eyes seemed to almost look like she wanted to…devour him?
"Try it!" Ginny exclaimed, thrusting the box up.
He couldn't exactly say no, could he?
Harry hesitantly reached out to grab a piece, not noticing the gleam in Ginny's eyes. He slowly moved to piece into his mouth, prepared to bite it, and then-
"'Arry!"
A voice called out to him.
Harry felt a warm arm wrapping around his right side and turned to see Fleur Delacour next to him.
"What are you doing out here?" Fleur asked worriedly. "Eet is cold! Come back wiz me, 'Arry."
"Fleur?" Harry looked slightly surprised seeing her there. "I was actually just on my way to see you. Well, I ran into Ginny here…"
Harry turned around and gestured to the redhead, not noticing her shaking slightly.
"Oh!" Fleur exclaimed. A small smile appeared on her face. "Ees she one of your classmates?"
"Oh no." Harry shook his head. "Younger sister of my frie- ahem, actual classmate, Ron."
"Ah," Fleur nodded in understanding, beginning to pull Harry. "Well, if she ees not zat important, we should 'ead back-"
"Excuse me!" Ginny hissed, interrupting Fleur. "And just who are you to drag him away?"
Harry felt Fleur's hand on his side tighten, as she glared at the red head.
"I am 'is friend," Fleur said hotly. "'Is only friend."
Ginny growled and reached out to grab Harry's left arm, dropping the box of chocolate and almost yanking him away.
"I'm his friend as well!" Ginny growled, then turned to address Harry. "Harry, you need to come back with me to the castle. I'll be right next to you. I'll help you win the tournament! I'll help you get stronger! I'll even help you have children! You don't need her! You don't need anyone at Hogwarts but ME!"
Ginny released a torrent of words at him. Harry wasn't sure he heard her correctly, but it sounded like something about her having children?
"Oh? And just where were you when 'Arry really needed 'elp?"
"TRYING TO FIND HIM!" Ginny snapped. "I was right there for him when they found Hermione!"
More confusion erupted inside Harry. Ginny was already acting strange, but what was she talking about with Hermione?
Fleur had raised an eyebrow at that statement. "When was zat? I was ze one who was there wiz 'im."
"Um girls," Harry meekly tried interrupting. "Let's not-"
Ginny looked bright red as she shouted back, not even hearing Harry. "OUTSIDE THE HOSPITAL! I WAS THERE! HE THREW UP!"
"Just what was she talking about? Harry thought as the argument continued in the background. "The only person I remember who was there was Fleur."
Harry tried a few more times to get them to calm down, but none of them seemed to have heard him. While Fleur appeared calm and collected, retorting with sharp words, Ginny seemed to care only about shouting and getting as loud as possible.
"I do not recall anyone zere but 'Arry and me. Are you sure your memory is not…fragile?" Fleur mocked, ending with a French accent of the word fragile.
"FRAGILE? FRAGILE? I'LL SHOW YOU WHO'S FRAGILE!" Ginny screeched.
The match lasted for a minute, but it wasn't until Ginny dropped a bombshell mid way.
"-NOTHING BUT A WHORE! A VEEL-!"
SLAP!
…
The sound of a smack echoed across the lake, as Ginny stared back in shock, a red mark on her face.
What. Did. Ginny. Say?
Harry turned to Fleur only to see her face morph from a look of disbelief to hurt.
Harry turned to Ginny and for the first time in a while, Harry felt true anger.
"Go." Harry hissed.
Ginny had a look of shock on her face, finally hearing Harry for the first time. "What do you mean?" She asked angrily. "It's true! She's manipulating you! For crying out loud she's a Veel-"
Harry didn't even let her finish before his wand was already in his hand.
"LEAVE! I'm not warning you again!"
Ginny frowned. However, the look in Harry's eyes made her hesitate to say anything else, and she instead slowly backed away.
But before she left, Ginny pulled out a book and laid it out on the ground. "This is what she is, Harry." Ginny huffed. "You'll see it soon. Once she's done manipulating you, you'll become a mindless pet of hers!
And with that, Ginny angrily stomped away.
Harry just stood there in silence, watching Ginny storm away. When it was clear he could no longer see her, he turned to Fleur to see her eyes red.
"Fleur!" Harry said in a hushed voice, moving his hand up to her face. However, he hesitated at the contact, unsure if he should touch her. But his indecision was quickly ended when Fleur threw her arms around him.
"Oh, 'Arry!" Fleur sobbed into his neck.
Harry awkwardly soothed her by gently rubbing her back. "Hey…" he mumbled. "She shouldn't have called you all those things. I mean, why was she calling you a Veel? Whatever that means…
Harry felt Fleur stiffen up in his arms.
"Eet is..a 'armful word…" Fleur said slowly. "Imply zat someone is…around."
"Oh."
Fleur pulled away slightly and shook her head angrily, still a bit tearful. "She assumes just because of my looks! My people!" Fleur paused for a second before continuing. "Never say zat word. Or ask about eet. Eet is incredibly rude."
"She shouldn't have said that then." Harry said harshly. "I don't care even if you were! You're the only one who's helped me!"
"I am not!" Fleur exclaimed.
Harry stared back into the dark blue eyes of Fleur Delacour to see her looking almost defiantly at him.
"That's not what I meant." Harry said softly. "I don't care about what she says. I'm-I'm going to prove it to you.
Harry shakily aimed his wand at the book, doing his best to steel his resolve.
A small voice inside of Harry told him that he was making a mistake, that there was something that Fleur was hiding.
Something that would change everything.
But…
He couldn't.
It would break his world if that was true.
Fleur was the only one he had left. It couldn't be true.
So he had to make sure that it would be.
"Incendio." Harry whispered.
The book set aflame, as whatever knowledge Ginny wanted him to have was gone.
"Are you not curious?" Fleur asked, dumbfounded.
"I. Don't. Care." Harry said firmly.
Fleur looked at him incredulously until a small smile lit up on her face, and she hugged him tightly. She pressed her lips on his cheek, kissing him.
"Thank you, 'Arry." Fleur whispered into his ear sensually. "I'll be sure to…reward you for your…commitment sometime…"
Harry felt himself being pulled towards the carriage, Fleur leading in front. An almost goofy smile was etched on his face, as the warm sensation of her kiss still lingered on his cheek.
He failed to see the triumphant grin on Fleur's face, nor the smack of her lips for successfully bringing the situation into her favor.
A/N: Ginny is the angry yandere who uses her loudness to get what she wants. Fleur is the calm and collected one, who's more calculative. In other words, I tried to make Ginny sort of the noob yandere and Fleur the "experienced," one.
Don't expect anything from this fic as I said when we started. Because I'm not really expecting anything either lol. Actually, there is one thing to expect. For things to definitely get out of control and the train to crash.
Hope everyone have a good 2023!
