Hello and Welcome too Chapter 14 of Naruto: The Dark Prince.
Man those exams were sooooo long but I managed to get through them and I deserve a rest after all that, but that doesn't mean that I can't upload a chapter for you so here it is!
Before we start, I don't know if anyone notices but last chapter I got rid of the part where Naruto used his dark powers against Neji in his fight.
I was reading the comments and some said that they were disappointed in Naruto for using his external powers against Neji and it was just like what happened in cannon but instead of the Nine-Tail's chakra, he used his dark powers and the same people said what was the point in his training then if he just used his dark powers to win.
To tell you the truth I wasn't going to make Naruto use his dark powers against Neji, I just had some Ideas for future chapters and that made me change what I wanted in last chapter, also i wanted apologize for my stupidity, again for last chapter, the same people pointed it out that Neji hit all of Naruto's chakra points even when he didn't use his Byakugan, AND, Naruto used his darkness to cover his whole body so Neji can't see his chakra network and his two new energies. Again im sorry for that, i don't know what was going through my head when i typed that in but i did get rid of it from my chapter.
So thats about it, I just wanted to clear that up and with out further ado let's get on with the chapter.
Chapter 14: The Invasion begins
Naruto watched as medic ninjas took Neji on to a scale and started to bring him to the infirmary. He then looked at Neji with a pity look and sighed.
"I hope you will know what im talking about some other day." He muttered.
"I'm sure he will, we just have to hope he gets it. Nicely done by the way, to think you've grown exponentially in just a month of training." Keiran complemented, Naruto nodded.
"Thanks, but it was because of you, the Nine-Tails and the Pervy Sages training that got me where I am now." Naruto said and Keiran chuckled.
"Modest aren't we?" Keiran said.
"Am I wrong though?" he asked.
"Not necessarily, but you were the one that did the training, not us." Keiran said.
"...I guess your right." Naruto said, he looked around to see the huge crater and the whole in the wall he made during his fight.
"I... might have gone over board a little." Naruto muttered, Genma then spoke gathering the attention of everyone.
"Alright everyone, we're going to take a short break, that would give us some time to get the battle field prepared for the next fight." He said, Everyone nodded before getting out of thier seats.
"You don't have to worry, I can fix up the arena." Naruto said catching everyone's attention as he walked towards the crater he made.
"Don't worry about it we can repair-" Genma said before his eye's widen in surprise along with everyone else in the stands who saw what Naruto was doing.
Naruto lifted his hand too the crater as a glowing white circle with markings appeared in the palm of his hand. (Magic Circle).
"Reconstruct!"
The crater began to fill itself up making it a flat surface once again. Naruto then pointed the circle at the whole in the wall and it began to reconstruct itself back together, he took a look around him and he nodded in satisfaction. The battle field looked good as new as if the damage he cost was nonexistent.
"Okay, that should do it" Naruto said as he began to walk to exit, but not before sticking his hand out and his sword that was still floating went towards him as he grabbed it and put it in his scabbard on his waist.
Everyone just watched all of this until he disappeared up the stairs as they had an expression that looked like they got smacked.
(Scene Change: Kage booth)
"So what do you think?" Jiraiya asked, he was standing to the side of Hiruzen who also had a shocked expression as the audience.
"How did he get this strong in just a month of training?" Hiruzen asked as he looked at Jiraiya.
Jiraiya smirked.
"Me, Keiran and one 'other' made a schedule for Naruto and we worked him hard this past month, and believe me I was surprised at the rate he was progressing as well." He said.
Hiruzen narrowed his eye's at Jiraiya, he wasn't told of another person was going to train Naruto.
"What do you mean one 'other', who else was training Naruto this past month?" He asked or some what demanded Jiraiya, the Kazekage was silently listening to thier conversation.
'So Jiraiya is here... this is a problem. The invasion will start soon, and it seems he trained Naruto, but who is this Keiran and one 'other' he was talking about? It seems they trained him as well' he thought.
"That... information is complicated to answer right now, but I'll tell you everything that happened after all of this is over." Jiraiya said and took a quick glance at the Kazekage then back towards Hiruzen.
Hiruzen knew what Jiraiya was referring too when he took a glance at the Kazekage and he nodded.
"Alright but I expect an explanation." He said
Jiraiya nodded.
"Naruto seems to be quite skilled in using a sword. Did Keiran teach him how to wield one?" Hiruzen asked and Jiraiya nodded again.
"Yep, that was all him, he even taught him how to do 'that' as well." Jiraiya said referring to what Naruto just did to the arena.
"Speaking of what was that just now? I've never seen it before." Hiruzen said curious but Jiraiya shook his head.
"I have no idea, Naruto or Keiran haven't told me what it was." Jiraiya said with shrug.
"Okay... what about that 'Sword Art' he used?" he asked
"Well there really called sword skills or that's what Keiran called it, there like another set of sword techniques but they kinda use what Naruto just did." Jiraiya tried to explain "Keiran has to tell you the rest, I can't really explain it in detail." (Neither can I)
"Hmm" Hiruzen nodded.
Hiruzen thought about the information he just received... or parts of it, to think Naruto has grown so much in just a month. That shouldn't be possible but he is Unpredictable at times. Hiruzen smiled, he did wonder who this other person was that trained Naruto, but he wasn't going to get any answers untill the exams are over.
(Scene Change: Spectator Stands)
"Yeah! Naruto's fight with Neji was awesome!" Kiba said.
"Yes, it was enjoyable, N-Naruto has gotten so strong." Hinata said shyly.
"Well I'm going to get some food, do you want something Hinata?" Kiba asked as he stood up and stretched.
She shook her head. "No I'm fine thank you. I think I'm going to go by Kurenai-sensei and the others over there." Hinata stared at the direction of her sensei.
"Well alright, I'll come join you in a little bit then, see ya!" Kiba said walking away and Hinata nodded, she stood up herself and made her way to the group.
"Naruto's match was something else huh." Shikamaru said.
The girls nodded "Yeah he's gotten stronger since the last time we saw him." Sakura said
"Yeah, he even knows how to wield a sword" Yukino said 'I wonder if he can teach me how to use one as well?' she thought.
"I wonder how he fixed up the arena though, and what that glowing circle in his hand was." Ino wondered.
"Well, your just going to have to ask him yourself, I am curious on how he learned that Jutsu he used though, that was clearly wind chakra." Asuma said with Kurenai nodding along side him.
"But it was also something else as well, I could sense it." Ino said
"Can you identify it Ino?" Asuma asked but Ino shook her head
"I see..."
"We can just ask Naruto directly when he gets here." Ino said
"That's if he wants to, remember he didn't answer any of our questions regarding that power he showed in the forest or the preliminaries." Shikamaru said
"Well he can surely answer some of the questions regarding his fight with Neji, it's not like we're asking about that power anyway so whats the harm?" Sakura said
"It doesn't matter, it's still his decision if he wants too or if he doesn't want to answer Sakura." Yukino said.
"Yeah... but it wouldn't hurt to try right?" She asked
"I... I guess not." Yukino said not to sure
"Alright! so how about we go too him right now? He's coming to the Spectator stands anyway so we can meet him half way." Ino said with the group agreeing and stood up
"U-umm." a voice said
The group turned around to find Hinata standing there with a blush.
"C-can I come with you? Too see N-Naruto!" Hinata said causing the group to look at each other, then back to her.
"Sure you can, after all he did fulfill the promise he made." Sakura said causing Hinata to blush.
Yukino had a small frown, she had that feeling in her stomach again as she looked at Hinata. Unknown to anyone she knows Hinata has a crush on Naruto, probably the only person who knows while everyone including Naruto is oblivious to her feelings. She also thought they would make a great couple just like her and Sasuke back at the academy... but now because of these new feelings she has she doesn't feel the same way anymore.
"Alright then let's go!" Ino said and started walking and the others soon followed.
(Scene Change)
'Why do I feel like I'm going to be questioned or more like interrogated in a little bit?' Naruto thought
"Well you did give them quite a performance, you will be getting a lot of attention now." Keiran said
(He's right, you will know doubt be getting a lot of attention because of your fight with the Hyuuga.) The Nine-Tails said suddenly
'Well I guess there's no helping that is there?' Naruto said, he sighed and looked up
'So what am I supposed to say to my friends if they ask what I think there going to ask' Naruto said
(I think you should just tell them what you want them to know and not beat around the bush about it.) The Nine-Tails said
" I agree, there's certain information that is best not to say, for example your 'Magic' and your 'Dragon Arts' it'll be hard to explain what it is and how you manage to learn it, but your 'Sword Skills' and 'Storm Style' you can tell them since that would be more easier to explain." Keiran said
'Alright.' Naruto nodded mentally
"Naruto." a voice said
Naruto was broken out of his thoughts and looked up to see Shino leaning on the wall, It looks like he was waiting for him.
"Oh hey Shino, did you need something?" Naruto asked, Shino shook his head.
"Nothing in particular Naruto. I was just curious about your recent change and those jutsu's you used earlier." Shino said while Naruto nodded to him understanding how seeing his current changes would make many curious especially since it all happened in a month.
"I can't really go into details about my personal changes at the moment, but I can tell you about the Jutsu I used. It was something I've been working on that took me awhile." Naruto said, Shino nodded and payed close attention.
"First-" Naruto was about to start but was cut off by
"Naruto!"
"Huh?"
Naruto turned around to see Ino who pounced on him as she nuzzled his face making him stumble for a bit untill he got his bearings.
"Ino?" Naruto said confused
"You did great, I thought you were gonna miss your match but you showed up and won. Congratulations!" Ino said smiling at him.
"...Yeah... thank you" he said as he tried to pull Ino off of him.
Meanwhile a blazing dark aura surrounded Yukino as she watched this with a glared on her face, Shikamaru sweat drop as he slowly moved away from her.
"Do you think you can get off now." Naruto asked
"Oh come on Naruto, don't be so mean" she said holding tighter, Naruto sighed he can easily get her off because of his strength but he didn't want to hurt her while doing it.
"Ino, back off!" Yukino said through gritted teeth as she stomped over and pulled Ino off Naruto, who sighed in relief at no longer feeling Ino's hands on him.
"Thanks Yukino." he said, Yukino smiled and nodded at him
Naruto saw that Sakura, Shikamaru and Hinata were also there with him. He saw Catra walk up to him and jumped on his shoulder.
"What was that about!?" Ino said
"You were in Naruto's personal space, so I was just getting you off of him." Yukino said
"You sure that's the only reason?" Ino asked with narrowed eyes.
"Why would there be any other reason" Yukino said and narrowed her eyes too.
"That's enough you two, why are you here anyway? I was going to the spectator stands after I was done answering Shino's question." Naruto said
"They wanted to meet you half-way, so we decided to make our way over too you." Shikamaru said and Naruto nodded
"What did Shino ask about?" Sakura asked
"He just wanted to know what was the Jutsu I did earlier in my fight with Neji" Naruto said
"We had some questions as well" Sakura said
"But only if your willing to answer them." Yukino quickly said
Naruto nodded "I can answer some of the questions you have."
"Are you sure?" Yukino asked
Naruto nodded
"In that case, what was that Jutsu you used in your fight?" Shikamaru asked
"This was Shino's question as well. First, I have three chakra natures." Naruto said
"You have three!?" Yukino said shocked, Naruto nodded
"Yeah, I have Wind, Water, and Lighting natures, what you all saw was a jutsu that requires me to combine those three together."
"What is it?" Shino asked
"It's called 'Storm Style' now usually it would just be Water and Lighting i have to combine but I made a mistake of combining Wind to it as well which allowed me to create a storm just like you saw." Naruto explained
"Thats incredible... and you manage to do that in only a month?" Ino said
"Surprisingly yes, it did take me most of the month to just do one Jutsu though." he said
"Well either way that's impressive Naruto. I had to take more then a month to make my 'Ice Style' Jutsu's" Yukino said
"Thanks... is there anymore questions you have?" he asked
Shikamaru thought for a minute before looking at the sword on Naruto's waist and the one from before on his back and asked "What was that Sword attack you did on Neji?"
"Yeah it looked like it just went through his defenses when he did his own jutsu" Ino said
"That was a 'Sword Art' It's a type of skill that doesn't use chakra but something else. As you saw, it was a wind style type of skill that i used against Neji... because it wasn't chakra it caused my attack to go through his jutus that was supposed to repel or reflect anything and chakra. But since i didn't use that for my attack it went right through it and made contact." Naruto explained
"What is this 'something' you use then?" Shino asked but Naruto shook his head
"Sorry, but i can't answer that." he said
"Why not?" Sakura asked
"Because its personal information that you don't need to know." Naruto said
"Okay what about what you did when you fixed the arena?" Ino asked
"I can't answer that either, but what i used is the same thing i did for my 'Sword Art' " Naruto said
"Anymore questions?" he asked and looked around
"What was that 'Dragon Art' you did" Sakura said
"That's personal information as well" he said
"Okay, who trained you then?" Sakura asked again
"That guy i landed with, he was a student of the old man when he was a sensei, his name is Jiraiya but a pervy sage should be his real name, he is the one who trained me" Naruto stated simply
"Why do you say that?" Yukino asked
"Because when I first met him he was peeping on the girls in the hot springs" he said
The girls had a disgusted expression on thier faces while Shikamaru and Shino had a sweat drop.
'Understandable.' Catra said while nodding as she saw thier faces.
They were about to speak up but Naruto beat them too it "I know what you are about to say but you have to admit that with out him I wouldn't have gotten stronger for the exams."
"Yeah but still" Sakura said
"Naruto/Naruto/Naruto" Yukino, Ino and Hinata said too sweetly, Naruto and Keiran felt a chilling feeling all of a sudden as they looked at Naruto with dark sweet smile on thier faces.
Catra quickly hid in Naruto's red jacket out of fear, this reminded her so much of how Iris looked at Keiran like that for some reason.
'Don't leave me to deal with this!' Naruto said
'I'm sorry!' was Catra's only reply
"Y-yes?" Naruto said stuttering and the girls came close to him that made him back up a bit.
"I wouldn't want to be in Naruto's position right now." Shikamaru whispered to Shino who just nodded
"You better not become like him okay?" Yukino said with the same dark sweet smile as Ino and Hinata who nodded the same time at her words.
(Dear Kami, that is horrifying to look at.) The Nine-Tails said
Keiran was shook up remembering the same sweet smile on Iris's face that one time when she said she doesn't want him to become a pervert like the ones they saw "I still remember that death smile" he said
Meanwhile
(Scene Change)
Celeste and Iris just got finished eating lunch as they were now walking in the street in a village, It was time for Celeste's training but she and Iris suddenly stopped and looked in the direction of the hot springs they had in the village and saw some men trying to peep on the girls side.
Celeste saw this and had a frown on her face "I don't understand why they do this?" she said and sighed.
"Well that's just how certain men are, but some like my beloved and hopefully his partner are sweet and caring and I know he'll never become one of them." Iris said definitely
Celeste moved her head to the side "Just for my curiosity, what would you do if he did become one?" She asked curiously but then had a frightened expression as she saw the dark sweet smile on her friend/teachers face.
"I-iris?"
"There's no need to ask that because I know he won't turn into one. and if he some how did... well maybe if he sees me again he'll reconsider" Iris says too sweetly making Celeste shiver more.
"Now its time for your training, and as a bonus I'll teach you how to make sure the one you fall in love with some day doesn't become one of them." Iris said walking and Celeste just nodded fearfully.
Iris looked up in the air and smiled 'My beloved, I love you, but hopefully you remember not to become one of them, or else I'm going to have to remind you why you shouldn't become one in the first place and I know you don't want that right?' she thought smiling still as she continued to walk.
(Scene Change)
Keiran looked around himself fearfully as the chilling feeling increased ten fold for some reason 'Why am I feeling like this?' He thought trembling.
The girls finally calmed down and Naruto sighed in relief, that was the most horrifying scene he has ever saw and hopefully he never sees again along with Keiran and Catra.
"Okay Is there anymore questions?" Naruto asked and no one spoke up
"Alright then we should get back to the spectator stands for the next match, i think our short break is almost over" Naruto said composing himself and began to walk with the rest soon following plus Shino.
"Naruto i forgot to say something." Shino said
"What is it?" Naruto asked
"I wanted to say thank you." Shino said surprising Naruto
"What for?" he asked
"For keeping your promise that you will win against Neji" Shino said
Naruto looked at Shino and then infront of him while the rest of the group just listened.
"No problem, i wasn't going to let what Neji did to Hinata slide" He said unknowingly made Hinata blush because of his words
"T-thank you N-Naruto." Hinata said softly
"No problem Hinata." Naruto smiled softly at her which made her blush again.
Yukino saw this and frowned, ever since the forest Naruto hasn't shown her that smile he always gave her, it was just a straight face and never with that same look he gave Hinata.
"Hey Naruto, your new outfit looks good on you by the way" Yukino said and Naruto looked at her and saw she was in a new outfit as well.
"You look beautiful as well" Naruto stated simply
Yukino stopped and looked at Naruto with wide eyes. 'B-beutiful he thinks im beautiful?'
"Something wrong Yukino?" he asked
"N-no im f-fine, its just you called me b-beutiful all of a sudden." She said blushing
"What's wrong with that, i always thought you were" Naruto said causing Yukino to blush more
"A-alright!" She said and started to walk again
Ino narrowed her eyes at Yukino out of jealousy.
"Hey Naruto" Ino called to him
Naruto turned to Ino
"How do i look?" She said trying to look sexy

"Same as ever." he said and continued walking
Ino had a down cast expression after his answer
"But you look good still." Naruto continued
Ino looked at him, she smiled and continued to walk with the group.
"Hold on." a cold voice behind them said
The group turned around to see the sand team and Garra looking straight at Naruto, Shikamaru and Yukino bodies stiffened at the sight of Garra, during the month that was used for training they went to go see Lee in the hospital for a little bit but then they saw Garra about to kill him and so Shikamaru used his 'Shadow Possession Jutsu' to stop him from doing anything else to Lee, it looked like things were about to get ugly between them but then Guy-Sensei showed up before anything can happen.
"Do you need something from us?" Naruto asked
Garra didn't say anything but walked towards Naruto along with his siblings, Yukino was standing next to Naruto incase anything happens.
Garra was right in front of Naruto as he looked up at him while Naruto was looking down.
"You better be prepared, because when im done with Sasuke, im going to kill you when its our turn so i can prove my existence." Garra declared coldly making everyone have shivers as he said it, Yukino instinctively grabbed Naruto's new jacket, Naruto looked to see Yukino was shaking slightly and then turned to Garra who was walking away with his siblings
"You can try but I'll doubt you'll succeed... number 1." Naruto said causing Garra's two siblings to look back at Naruto in shock while his group looked confused.
Garra slowly turned to Naruto with a glare but then slowly widen his eyes in surprise as the room was now dark, Naruto's eyes were green as Garra saw a massive figure with black hair with a little bit of red and a black outfit behind Naruto looking down at him with it's own green eyes. Garra turned around and didn't say anything and started walking away from the group.
The group was silent for a little bit as they watch Garra and his two siblings walked away.
"W-what was that all about?" Sakura asked trembling
"That guy...something is wrong with him." Ino said and Shino nodded
"My team encountered him in the forest, we watched him kill three ninjas with out any hesitation." Shino said with Hinata nodding.
"We should go." Naruto said and started walking again
The others nodded and started to walk as well. As they made it to the spectator stands it was now time for Sasuke's match to begin as they each took a seat.
'There all around us' Naruto said
'Yeah, what are you planning to do?' Catra asked
'Nothing right now, but I can tell there hiding as some of the civilians' Naruto said
"It's not just that but there's even something strange about that Kazekage. You might want to be ready just incase, who knows when they will strike" Keiran said
(My guess will be that they will start this invasion when it's the Uchiha and Garra's turn to fight) The Nine-Tails said
'What makes you say that?' Naruto asked
(I think the sand are apart of this invasion and they partnered up with the sound and there planning to use Garra as the signal to start.)
"If that's true then we don't know at what point in the match is the signal for them to start." Keiran said
'We should just keep a look out for now, that's all we can do.' Catra said with Naruto nodding
"Okay it is now time for the last match, will Sasuke Uchiha and Garra of the sand please make thier way to the arena." Genma said gathering the attention of the spectators.
They watched as Gaara made his entrance with the sand again, but Sasuke still hadn't shown himself. The crowd was getting restless and Genma was getting close to calling the match in Gaara's favor until a gust of wind circled the stadium. Everyone in the stands watched as the wind gathered in the middle with Kakashi and Sasuke standing there in the middle and Sasuke in a new outfit. While impressive it wasn't as dramatic as Naruto's entrance falling from the sky.
"Sorry, we're not late are we?" Kakashi asked with Genma shaking his head no.
"No, but you were cutting it close," Genma spoke with Kakashi nodding before he disappeared up into the stands to sit next to the group and Gai along with Lee, he had just recently arrived with his sensei with him missing the first few matches because of his injuries but he was here now.
"Hey Lee, how you feeling?" Naruto asked
"I'm okay, just you wait, when I get better I'm going to train extra harder for now on!" Lee said with fire in his eyes
"That's right Lee! I'm going to give you a more harder training schedule so your flames of youth will burn bright as the sun!" Guy said smiling and a thumbs up
"GUY-SENSEI!" Lee shouted
"LEE!" Guy shouted as well
Everyone around them had a sweat drop at thier actions.
"Okay... don't over do it then." Naruto said and turned around
"I'm glad Sasuke's here and didn't miss his match." Sakura said
"He was cutting it close." Shikamaru said
"Well either way he's here, I hope he'll be okay against Garra." Yukino said
"Don't worry about Sasuke, i trained him so he can stand a chance against Garra" Kakashi said, he turned to Naruto and was surprised to see a sword on his waist and a big one on his back along with him in a new outfit as well as Yukino.
"Wow Naruto you look great, and it seems you know how to wield a sword now, you look good as well Yukino." Kakashi commented
"Thanks Kakashi-Sensei" Yukino said and Naruto nodded
"So Naruto, Yukino, how did your matches go?" Kakashi asked
"It went good, I won my match." he said
"Same as me." Yukino said
"That's good, that will increase your chances at becoming a Chuin." Kakashi said, Naruto and Yukino nodded and looked down to the arena
'Let's see how this goes.' Naruto thought
"Alright. Let the match between Sasuke Uchiha and Gaara of the sand commence. Begin!" Genma said while jumping back since he did not want to be in the middle of the massacre that was going to happen soon.
The battle started with Gaara shooting his cork out at Sasuke with him catching it. Tossing it aside he watched as Gaara commanded his sand forward but with a burst of speed Sasuke was gone and reappeared. He entered into a stance that made one particular green pair gasp.
"That's my taijutsu stance." Rock Lee claimed while watching Sasuke copy his movements and while not perfect he managed to move as fast as Lee with his weights on. Gai looked to his "Eternal Rival" with frown on his face.
The fight continued on with Sasuke moving quickly and managing to get a few strikes in but was driven back by Gaara's sand. Everything then changed when Gaara encased himself into a ball of hardening sand around his form with an eyeball made from sand appearing above them. Sasuke jumped back up the wall behind him before going through hand seals. His left hand started to be coated in Lighting.
"So that's why you had him copy Lee's style and speed. Your own personal technique." Gai said to Kakashi glancing up from his book to the man before hearing Sakura question what it was that Sasuke was doing.
"Right now he is performing a Jutsu that your sensei developed himself. It is known as 'Lighting Blade'. It gained that name because it said that Kakashi used that same technique to split a lightning bolt in half. Sasuke is using a powered down version known as 'Chidori'. It is called that because it gives off the sound of a thousand birds chirping." Gai explained to the genin around him while true to his words everyone heard the sound of birds chirping and watched Sasuke run down the wall, Sharingan blazing, and headed straight for the ball.
Kankuro smirked and shook his head. "There's no way he'll be able to pierce through. Gaara's sand is the ultimate defense."
"I wouldn't be too sure Kankuro. That's the same thing we thought about that Lee kid." Temari said back to him while being worried for her little brother as she watched Sasuke run through the field dodging all the sand that came at him. Sasuke got close to the ball of sand before throwing his hand forward.
"Chidori!"
Sasuke exclaimed with his arm going through the sand and pierced Gaara's shoulder. This caused several reactions to happen in the stadium. One was the gasp of surprise from Gaara's two siblings and the second was the scream that came from Gaara himself.
"MY BLOOD! ITS MY BLOOD! YOU MADE ME BLEED!" Garra yelled out with Sasuke trying to remove his arm before watching an arm push him out while seeing some creature inside the sand roar before staring at him.
'What the hell was that' Sasuke thought to himself while seeing the sand around him dissolve and Gaara down on his knees holding his shoulders.
Naruto quickly got to his feet then felt like he was frozen, his senses was flaring up as he slowly turned towards the Kage booth and saw that the Kazekage had a smirk on his face.
Soon there were several explosions that occurred in the village with one happening in the Kage booth and then feathers began falling in the stadium making the people fall to sleep. Soon disguised Sound and Sand-nin came out of hiding within the crowd before attacking the nearby Konoha shinobi.
Naruto quickly grabbed his sword from his waist and instinctively blocked an incoming attack from one of the Sand ninja with his sword, he twisted around to give a round house kick to the enemies head instantly knocking him out.
"So it seems they waited until Garra was out of control and that was the signal then" Keiran said
'Yeah, Catra hide in my Jacket for now' Naruto said and Catra nodded
'Okay'
Naruto then began to channel his dark powers as he was now coated in a dark aura creating a barrier around him so that he is unaffected by the Genjutsu,
"Release!" Yukino said with the others doing the same so they won't be affected.
Naruto's senses flared as he pulled Yukino close to him and blocked another attack from the enemy ninjas
"You alright Yukino?" Naruto asked
"Y-yeah, I'm fine thanks." she said, Naruto nodded and released her as they were now back to back covering each other.
Naruto looked around to see Kakashi and Guy and the other sensei's handling some of the enemy Sand and Sand ninjas.
Naruto blocked an incoming Kunai with his sword and saw that a group of Sand Ninja were infront of him, he briefly looked back to see some Sound Ninja on Yukino's side as well.
"Yukino when I say get down, you get down understand!" Naruto said as water started to surround his blade.
"What are you going to do?" Yukino said not taking her eyes of the enemy
"Just trust me on this" he said as his sword was now coated in water and then turned completely blue.
Yukino nodded and she saw the Sand and Sound Ninja rush towards them
"Yukino now!" Naruto said and she got down
"Sword Art: Water Style: Whirlpool!"
Naruto swung his sword as the charged water energy came out and surrounded the two making a Whirlpool that destroyed the ceiling above, protecting them as the enemy got caught in the Whirlpool and it blew them away.
Naruto sighed as he looked back at Yukino who was staring at him with wide eyes.
"You alright?" He asked and she nodded her head.
"Yes." she said and he nodded
Naruto looked down to the arena and he saw that the Sand siblings carring Garra and start to make there way to the forest and he saw Sasuke run after them he then looked to the kage booth to see a purple barrier appeared over the kage's booth so no one can get in or out.
'Shit' he thought before grabbing Yukino and jumping off the railings.
"N-naruto!" she said surprised
"Kakashi-Sensei! Sasuke is going after the sand team, there heading into the forest. Me and Yukino are going to chase after them" Naruto said as they started running.
"Wait!" Kakashi said but was too late as they were now gone "Damn, Sakura, Ino and Shikamaru, I want you three to go after them for support while we deal with these guys here" Kakashi ordered, they nodded and made there way towards the forest unknown to them they had some followers as well.
(Scene Change)
Naruto and Yukino ran out of the stadium to see the chaos that started in the village. They saw a huge snake running rampant in the village.
"Everything's chaos" Yukino muttered
Naruto looked back at the purple barrier and he saw that Hiruzen and Jiraiya were battling the Kazekage or more accurately Orochimaru who was in disguise.
"Damn, Yukino back up a bit." Naruto said, she did what he said and he then bit into his thumb to draw blood and did some hand signs.
"Summoning Jutsu!"
Naruto placed his hand on the ground and seals appeared then smoke erupted from it. Out came Flare in her human form looking beautiful as ever, she looked around to see the destruction of the village and the giant snake and turned towards Naruto.
"Do you need something Naruto?" she asked
Naruto nodded "I need you to deal with that snake right there and after your done I want you to help the civilians and get them to safety and help any leaf ninja dealing with the Sand and Sound ninjas." Naruto said and she nodded
"You got it" Flare said
"Naruto who is this" Yukino said staring at Flare
"Her name is Flare and I'll explain more later but right we need to go." Naruto said
"Also be careful" Naruto said to Flare who rolled her eyes
"Oh please, you don't have to worry, besides you know what I am. It will take a lot to take me down." Flare said with a smirk
"Yeah but that doesn't make me worried for you" Naruto said and began to run in a direction with Yukino unknowingly made Flare have a small blush.
"Idiot..." She muttered with a smile, she then ran towards the snake and began to get ontop of some buildings to get higher, as she jumped from the last building she was on engulfed by a red light and then surrounded by flames. As the flames died down she was now in her dragon form and let out a loud roar drawing the attention of the snake "RRRROOOOOOOAAAARRR!!"
"Let's go you damn serpent" Flare said
The snake began to advance towards her and Flare doing the same and clashed as she began her own battle.
(Scene Change)
"RRRROOOOOOOAAAARRR!!"
"What was that?!" Yukino said
"That's Flare, she's dealing with the snake right now." Naruto said
Naruto and Yukino were in the forest jumping from tree to tree.
'Naruto, your team mate and the sand team are just up ahead.' Catra said and Naruto nodded
'Thanks Catra.' he said and then addressed Keiran
'Hey Keiran, I need a favor.' Naruto said
"What is it?" he asked
'Can you go back to the arena and assist the old man and the pervy sage, I know they can handle themselves but I can't get the feeling something bad will happen to one of them' Naruto said worried
Keiran remembered from his past that something similar has happened before with Iris and he wasn't going to let that happen again.
"Alright I'll do it and don't worry, I'll make sure there both alive." Keiran said as he manifested himself infront of Naruto and Yukino who was surprised again at seeing another person.
"Thank you, and here." Naruto said, he grabbed the sword of Darkness from his back and handed it to Keiran who took it and nodded.
"Be careful now" Naruto said
"Okay and you as well, I'll be going now." Keiran said and unfolded his black and red wings and flew in the direction of the stadium.
'You better not die on me old man, pervy sage.' Naruto thought
"Naruto who was that?" Yukino asked and Naruto was about to speak up when 5 Sand and Sound Ninja appeared in front of them.
"Damn! I'll tell you later!" He said and drew his sword getting into a stance, the same with Yukino, but before they can do anything they saw some kunai and smoke bombs, go towards the enemy ninja who were surprised.
"What the hell!" One of the shouted
Naruto and Yukino looked back to see Sakura, Shikamaru and Ino coming towards them.
"Yukino, Naruto are you okay?" Sakura said
"Yes, thanks Sakura." Yukino said
"Did Kakashi-Sensei send you to help us?" Naruto asked and Shikamaru nodded
"Yeah, he asked us to be support when you go after Sasuke." he said and Naruto nodded
"Alright." he said and turned towards the enemy ninja
'Naruto I sense some other enemy's coming from behind.' Catra said
'You gotta be kidding!' Naruto said as he looked back
"We don't have much time, there's going to be some more enemy's approaching from behind us." Naruto said and his sword started to be enveloped in Lighting as it turned yellow
"Okay me and Ino will deal with the ones from behind while you, Yukino and Sakura head on ahead." Shikamaru said and Ino nodded
"Okay, be careful." Naruto said and turned towards Yukino
"Yukino I want you to freeze thier legs so they can't move." Naruto said pointing to the sand and sound ninja and she nodded.
"Okay." she said and made some hand signs
"Ice Style: Freezing Trap!"
Yukino slammed her hands to the ground as Ice made its way to the enemy ninjas legs freezing them in place.
"What!"
"I can't move!"
"Damn!"
The ninjas were trying to break free but then Naruto appeared infront of them with his sword raised.
"Sword Art: Lighting Style: Swirling Thunder!"
Lighting then came from the sky and it hit Naruto's sword, when it stopped he spined around unleashing the stored Lighting energy around him hitting the enemy who shouted in pain as they were electrocuted.
"AAAAHHH!!"
The ninjas dropped down unconscious as Naruto signaled too Yukino and Sakura so they can go.
"Come on let's go." he said, they nodded and began to run through the trees.
'So this is part of the stuff I have to face in the future to achieve my dream?' Naruto thought,
'That's just how it is right now, even after what Iris and Keiran did back then, all the hatred and destruction resurfaced in your era Naruto.' Catra said in a sad tone
Naruto closed his eyes as he remembered what he saw in the village, all the destruction he saw, all the fighting and dead shinobi on the ground as he and Yukino made there way to the forest to catch Sasuke.
'I'm going to change this world for the better, im going to make sure Keiran and Iris see there dream come true' Naruto said as his hair began to turn black with a little red with his red and blue jacket become black and red with some silver along with the rest of his clothing.
Naruto opened his now green eyes and he had a look of determination as he stared in the direction of where Sasuke and the sand team were.
'I Promise.'
