Hello and Welcome to Chapter 15 of Naruto: The Dark Prince.

I hope everyone is having a bless day today and thank you for talking the time to read my chapter.

Also this chapter is going to be short this time because...too tell you the truth...I've been slacking while trying to make this chapter because I've been thinking of what to do for future chapters, and that's why it's short, now I've kept you all waiting long enough and so I had to upload something and so here it is.

I have a plan after this, so I'm going to tell you at the end of the chapter.

Next chapter it's just focusing on the fights for Keiran and Naruto kinda like this one but it's Flare's fight. So I hope you guys like the scenes in it.

Now i kept you all waiting long enough for this chapter, so lets get right too it, shall we?

Chapter 15: Hard fought battles, Part 1

Chaos and destruction continued in the Leaf village. The Sand and Sound ninja kept battling against the Leaf Shinobi's as they tried to protect their home from the invaders.

Some of the leafs forces were fighting the enemy, some were trying to get the civilians to safety. In the Hospital, the medical ninjas were treating the wounded who had gotten badly hurt during the invasion, and still, more continued to show up making the medics work extra harder.

"Hey! We got some more wounded over here." A male ninja said caring someone on his shoulder.

"A-Again, already... I-I mean yes, we'll be right there!" A female nurse said quickly going to get some help.

The nurse came back with some medics and began to treat the wounded.

As they were doing there job, none of them noticed that they were being watched from a distance. The creature stared at them for a moment before advancing toward them. It was only when the creature was getting closer that it got spotted by one of the nurses who screamed, she gathered the attention of everyone as they looked to see what she was looking at.

"S-snake!" A Civilian shouted, the rest of them began to panic.

"Protect the civilians at all cost!" A male ninja shouted as he got out a Kenai and was ready along with his comrades to fight the giant snake.

The Snake slithered its way over to them and opened its mouth to show two pointy fangs as it began to strike.

"Get ready!"

As the snake was about to strike, it was then grabbed by the neck and thrown to the opposite side of the civilians and ninjas.

The civilians and the ninjas looked up in shock to see a red dragon standing in front, protecting them from the snake.

"Rrrroooooaaaaarrrrr!!!"

The dragon let out a ferocious roar at the snake. This was Flare, she was the dragon protecting the civilians.

"I-is that a d-dragon?" A civilian said

"How did it even get in the village?" A ninja asked

"Is it... protecting us?"

"I'm not sure."

The snake got back up and hissed at Flare, showing its sharp fangs again and charged at her.

Flare growled at the snake and charged as well, wind bursted everywhere as she flapped her wings.

(Flare's-Pov)

As I was charging at the serpent, I gathered my dragon energy into my tail as it glowed green.

"Dragon arts: Dragon Tail!"

The snake was in front of me and I turned around fast making my tail smack into the snake sending it back into some shops.

'Hopefully Naruto won't get mad that i destroyed some stuff during my fight.' I thought to myself. To be honest, i don't think Naruto will get mad. knowing him he would be too focused on my safety more then the facilities.

I sighed. Dispite not being a dragon himself, he surely does have the traits of one. Always putting his loved one before himself. I wonder why he cares about me though? I mean I taught him some dragon arts for his training, but he only knew me for a month...and yet.

"!"

Just then, I felt my senses act up and I instinctively took to the sky, avoiding a collision with a second snake that appeared.

'There was another one?!' I thought

I heard some movement and I saw another snake coming up by the two other's. The one I just smacked got back up, the three snakes were looking at me with there slited eyes as they hissed.

'You gotta be kidding me!' I growled and rushed towards the three snakes.

One of the snakes rushed at me and opened its mouth to bite me but...

Crack!*

I found myself grinning inwardly, because the snakes sharp fangs have been chipped in half, after coming into contact with my skin.

Unfortunately for them, it's not that easy to pierce my dragon skin.

I retaliated by biting the snake hard by the neck and throwing it up in the air, followed by piercing it through the body with my claw.

The snake exploded in a puff of smoke disappearing, leaving the two other snakes to deal with.

'One down, two more to go' I thought as I landed and got ready.

The snake that I smacked with my tail charged at me and wrapped me around with its body making me unable to move.

I tried to break free but the other snake took this chance and charged at me as well, rapping its body around my neck, making it hard to breathe.

'Damn it!'

Do too the lack of oxygen, my eyes were getting heavy to stay open, as they were about to close i suddenly here some explosions around me, looking through a small opening I was surprised to see the ninjas I saved throwing some Kunai's with paper attached to them, aiming towards the snake on my neck exploding on contact.

The explosion caused the snakes grip on my neck to lessened, which was enough for me to bite into the body of the serpent and threw the snake in another direction.

Looking down at the snake still wrapped around my body, I channeled my dragon energy through out my body, causing heat to enveloped in the area around me and the snake.

"Dragon Arts: Raging Flame's!"

My whole body then burst into flames, it didn't do any damage to me, but I couldn't say the same to the serpent that unwrapped me after it was caught on fire and was now on the ground.

After a little bit it stopped moving and poofed in a puff of smoke disappearing, only leaving the finale snake to deal with.

"Time to finish this." I said and rushed towards the serpent.

The snake didn't have time to react as I grabbed it with my jaw and started to fly up. The snake tried to break free but I didn't let it happen as I threw him up into the air and gathered my dragon energy together.

"Dragon Arts: Morning Star!"

I took a deep breath and unleashed a huge fire ball that morphed into a star, it was hurled towards the snake and made contact.

BOOOM!*

A big explosion erupted from my attack, sending shockwave's throughout the village.

(Third-Pov)

All the civilians and ninja had to brace themselves from the shockwave.

"Whoa..."

"What destructive power..."

Flare landed on the ground with a crack. She then lifted her head and roared to the sky in victory.

"Rrrrooaaaaarrrrr!!"

Flares body started to glow and then she disappeared, leaving the civilians anx ninja wondering where she went.

What they didn't know is that she didn't really disappear, but she turned into her human form.

"Wow...That fight was good, not as good as my fight with Naruto but still good." Flare said

Flare then heard the sound of something falling and got confused.

"What's that sound-"

Just then something pierced through Flare's arm, causing her to grit her teeth in pain.

"Ahh-what the hell!?" Flare said as she looked to see what had pierced her.

She was surprised because it was half of a snakes fang that pierced her but only a little bit of it went in her skin, reacting quickly she took the fang out.

"What? How did-wait..." Flare said but then remembered that one snake that tried to pierce her but failed, do to her dragon skin.

"Could it be when i threw it up in the air the chiped fang went up with it? But if that was the case then how high did it go so that it can pierce my skin a little bit?" Flare said as she looked at the fang and tossed it.

"Whatever, the fang only went a little bit in my skin so I don't have to worry about being poisoned." Flare said

"Well...I wonder how their fights are going?"

Alright that is the end of Chapter 15 of Naruto: The Dark Prince, I hope you guys enjoyed it.

Now here is my plan...After chapter 16 which is after both Keiran and Naruto's fights, you know from the anime where after the invasion, team 7 has a mission they have to do by themselves that causes Sasuke too go to the hospital. . . again.

Yeah I'm going to skip that one, and go straight too when Naruto and Jiraiya are going to look for Tsunade. The reason why is cause i want to get to the Sasuke retrieval ark and then after that is when I have to put my creativity to the test, since I won't have any help from the anime or anything for what I have in mind for future chapters until shippuden...So please wish me luck for that.

Also again I'm sorry that this is really late and I promise that chapter 16 will be longer like the other one's. . .except for this one of course.

Anyway guys and girls, thats my plan im going to be doing after chapter 16 so what are your thoughts about it and if you have any questions concerning my plan then feel free to ask and I'll try to answer to the best of my ability.
