Note: I finally wrote chapter three… but I'm not too sure I like the chapter… well I like it but I think it could use some work, maybe. Anyways please enjoy the 3rd chapter :)
Chapter Three
Tabitha Anderson VS Yami Yugi

Tabitha let out a soft moan as she rubbed her head. She slowly open her turquoise colored eyes and found herself surrounded by darkness. Something had knocked her out because she was on the ground… but why couldn't she see anything? She blinked her eyes a couple of times, but still saw nothing but darkness. Slowly she got on her hands and knees and got up, but she felt weak in doing so. "What happened to me?" she wondered out loud as she slowly began to walk forward into the darkness. She than heard a soft feminine voice.
"Tabitha!"
Tabitha turned behind her and saw a beautiful woman and she looked like she could be Tabitha's twin! Except she was a little older, around twenty-four or so with long straight snow-white hair that reached her ankles and narrow crimson colored eyes. She wore a white tube top with gold trim on the bottom, a long white skirt that reached her ankles with slits on both sides that went up to her mid thigh. Gold upper arm bands and gold bracelets on her wrists and gold anklets on her ankles. A pair of Egyptian earrings are attached to her ears and she is wearing white slip on shoes. Even though her hair and eye color was different and the fact she looked older, but in her face she looked just like her! (meaning Tabitha.) "W-who are you?" Tabitha asked as she narrowed her eyes. The woman had an emotionless look on her face as she look at Tabitha.
"Beware of Namu… he is dangerous, he is not what he seems."
Tabitha blinked at her words. "What?" What does she mean by that?
"Do not get close to that boy! Stay away from him and guard the Pharaoh!" Warned the woman.
Pharaoh? What was she talking about? "What are you talking about? Why should I stay away from Namu?" Tabitha asked clearly confused at the woman's words. The woman shook her head. "I am sorry, I cannot tell you why, right now… but you must guard the Pharaoh from any harm or mankind will be no more!"
"What..." a shocked look went across Tabitha's face. "What are you talking about? Guard the Pharaoh?" But before she could get her answer from the woman, she vanished into the darkness. "Hey, wait!" Tabitha cried out, but it was too late, the woman was gone and than everything turned black… knocking her back into unconsciousness.

Bakura watched as Tabitha slowly opened her turquoise colored eyes, only - they were lifeless looking - Bakura had always liked this girl's eyes, they were beautiful and bright but now they look dead, because of the millennium item that Marik was holding. The Millennium Rod. Her mind was being controlled… and for some reason it didn't set well with Bakura that Marik was using her for his dirty work, normally he wouldn't care - she was friends with little Yugi and his group as well as with the Pharaoh. But there was something different about this girl that he couldn't place. And the fact that there was a strange aura surrounding the girl, an aura that felt familiar to him somehow… did the boy feel her aura as well? Bakura than looked at Marik. "So - this girl is going to help us?" he wasn't about to let Marik know that he knew this girl from before.
Marik nodded. "Yes… she may not look like it, but she is a strong duelist. She already has seven locator cards."
Bakura raised an eyebrow at him. "Really? Who is this girl?"
Marik frowned at him. "You do not need to know who she is…"
'Hmm, he's happens to be quite protective of her, for someone that is just going to use as a toy for his dirty work…' Bakura thought to himself. "If you say so." Bakura said simply. But then he gave her a closer look, ignoring the annoyed look on Marik's face. "There is something about her though. Something strange." 'I really do feel like I seen her before Duelist Kingdom… a long time ago.'
"You mean her aura?"
Bakura turned around and looked back at the teenager. "Yes. You have felt it?"
Marik nodded his head. "I have felt it. But I'm not to concern about it." Marik then looked at the Millennium Rod. "With the power of the Millennium Rod I can control her to do my bidding."
'But will that be enough, I wounder?'
The Millennium Rod began to glow and at the same time so did Tabitha's eyes. She than looked up at her master. "Now, go! Find Yugi Mutou and Duel against him, win and bring be back the Millennium Puzzle!" Commanded Marik. She nodded her head. "As you wish… Master Marik." she then left the ally to go find little Yugi.

"Téa!" Yelled Yami as he jumped out of the helicopter and than he began to run towards her but was stopped by a voice.
"Don't come any closer, Pharaoh!"
Yami looked towards the voice and a girl with shoulder length brown hair with blonde highlights and turquoise colored eyes- only her eyes looked lifeless… she looked a little different but it was Tabitha! But why did her eyes look so dead? "Tabitha-" Yami than narrowed his crimson-violet eyes, something was off about her. An evil grin formed on her lips. "Why, hello Pharaoh." Her voice seemed off like someone was controlling her… than Yami suddenly realized who it was that was doing this. "Marik!" He must be controlling Tabitha! "Remove your control from her at once!" he scowled. It was one thing to control other people to duel him, but to control the minds of his friends was another matter altogether!
"I don't think so, I quite like my control over this girl."
Yami gritted his teeth. "What do you want Marik?"
"The Millennium Puzzle, of course and this girl will get me what I want and than I will become Pharaoh." Marik laughed evilly, while Yami had to hold himself back from lashing out. From all the people that he could control, why did it have to be Tabitha? "Now, if you try anything - you're friend over their will die." Marik said as Tabitha pointed over at Téa. Mokuba Kaiba who had exited out of the helicopter along with his older brother Seto Kaiba looked over at Téa and gasped. "Téa!" Mokuba cried out to his friend, she was strapped to a chair with a big cargo box above her head. She didn't say anything as Mokuba called out to her, her normally beautiful blue eyes dim and dead looking. "And if anyone of you make a move to help her, all that my servant has to do is push the button and she dies." said Marik with a chuckle.
"…"
Tabitha walked over to the docks and took her spot, Yami followed and stood on the other side of the docks, facing her. Then suddenly a chain hooked itself on to his right ankle, while a chain hooked onto Tabitha's left ankle. "What the!?" Gasped Yami, what was Marik planning?
"As you can see, you and the girl are chained, keeping you both in place. In front of you is a little box with a key to unlock the chain. If my life points go to zero you're box opens and you are able to unlock you're chain, if you're life points go to zero I can unlock my chain… and who ever loses will drown. Oh! Before I forget, above us is a timer - If the duel isn't over with and the timer reaches zero… the hatches underneath us will open and both you and the girl will drown." said Marik through Tabitha's voice. Yami narrowed his eyes. Dammit! There had to be some way around this! "Also, let's not forget your dear friend - let's make her conscious of what's going on, shall we? It's more fun that way." a grin formed on Tabitha's face as Tea's eyes went from dead looking to their normal beautiful blue color.
She blinked. "What's going on-?" she looked up and saw the big cargo box above her head. "Aiiieee!" she screamed
"Now, let the duel of death begin! LET'S DUEL!" said Marik

{ Near The End of The Duel }
Dasha, Abbie, Hiro, Joey, Serenity, Tristan, and Mai ran up to Mokuba and Kaiba. "Téa! Yugi!" Joey shouted.
"Don't go near her, Joey." Mokuba said in warning. "And why da hell not!" Joey asked with narrow brown eyes as he stared at the younger Kaiba brother. "Because, that guy other their-" Mokuba pointed to a rare hunter with a device in his hand. "Will push a button if anyone gets near Téa and that cargo will fall on top of her and kill her!" Mokuba finished, not looking happy at the situation. Téa was his friend too, but he couldn't do anything! This whole set up was messed up!
"Damn!" Joey cursed in his breath. Couldn't something be done? He than looked at the harbor and saw Yugi and Tabitha? Why were they dueling in this messed up situation? Something wasn't right… wasn't Tabitha their friend? No wait, maybe she was being controlled like Keith was? This could be bad….
"Sis!"
"Aunt Tabitha!"
Joey watched as a girl with dark colored skin and long black hair that was pulled into a ponytail was keeping two kids back from reaching Tabitha. The little boy had tears in his onyx colored eyes - did he just call Tabitha sis? Tabitha was his sister!? They didn't look anything alike! Joey looked dumbfounded.
"You have to come to your senses, Tabitha!"
Everyone stopped what they were doing and watched was going on between Tabitha and Yami.
"I have come to my senses, Pharaoh…"
Yami gritted his teeth and he narrowed his eyes. There had to be something he could do to make her snap out of it. Trying to think back when they had first met - when she knew right away that he wasn't Yugi Mutou but someone else entirely different. When they first dueled against each other and it was a tie and how they laughed about it, for the first time he saw her truly smile and her laugh was bell like. He felt at ease around this girl for some unknown reason and she seemed to feel the same way. He wanted to see that smile on her face again, not this dull and dead look. And he remembered there promise that they had made.
"Let's have a duel, between us. Not when the steaks our so high and have a real battle!"
"You have to remember! This isn't the duel were are supposed to have!" For just a moment her eyes seem to flicker to her normal shade of turquoise, but then went back to being dull and lifeless. There was some hope still! "Yami, let me try something." Yami wasn't sure if he should let Yugi try whatever he was going to try. "Please…" Yugi said through their mind link and Yami sighed. "Alright." Yami closed his crimson-violet colored eyes and the puzzle glowed, one moment Yami was standing before everyone and now Yugi was. Yugi then began to slowly walk towards Tabitha - he was tired, tired of Marik trying to hurt his friends.
"What are you-?" Tabitha narrowed her eyes at Yugi, but Yugi just smiled as he stood in front of her, he pulled the Millennium Puzzle from around his neck and placed it around hers. Her eyes widen. "I can trust you with this right?" He said softly, the puzzle around her neck seem to glow lightly. "When you win, I want you to take the key and save yourself. I'm glad I met you Tabitha." He said with a bright smile and then slowly began to walk away, back to his spot. Tears began to welled up in Tabitha's eyes and she slowly grabbed her head.
NO!

She was running now, in the darkness. To where she was running, she didn't know.
Tabitha…
She suddenly stopped. Was that Yami's voice?
Can you hear me?
"Yes! But I can't see you… what's going on?" she asked as she held her hand to her chest. Why could she hear Yami but not see him?
Listen to me! You must not let Marik control you any longer!
Marik? Who was Marik? "Who is Marik?"
We don't have time right now! Think what is your fondest memory…
To be truthful she didn't have many memories that she liked to think about, but - the best memory she had was when she met Yami and his friends. "You guys." she said softly. Good, do you remember the promise we made? She nodded her head. "Yes." Think about that promise as hard as you can. Tabitha closed her eyes and let the memories flow through her mind and on that day. It was the day that she truly smiled again and the day she found a kindred spirit. She then felt someone take her hand into his. She then reopened her eyes and stared into crimson colored eyes. They were not his usual crimson-violet colored eyes but she knew right away it was Yami. She noticed that he was glowing a soft light in the darkness that surround them.
"I found you." he said softly as he took her hand and kissed it lightly, which only made her blush. He looked up into her eyes and he chuckled. "It's time for you to wake up."
"Eh?" And then everything went dark.

Tabitha's eyes blinked a couple of times as her eyes returned to their normal turquoise colored eyes, she glanced around. "Wh-where am I?"
"Tabitha!" Yugi cried happily. "I'm so glad…" then suddenly he collapsed on the ground. "Yugi!" Everyone cried out (that knew him, except for Kaiba.) She was about to run towards Yugi but stopped when she noticed that her ankle was chained. "What the hell is this!" she also noticed that she was wearing the Millennium Puzzle around her neck. "What on Earth?" Why was she wearing the Millennium Puzzle?
Dammit the timer!
Did she just hear Yami's voice inside her head? But when she heard timer she looked up and it had reached 00:00, both trap doors open as the anchor fell in the water so did they. While this was happening, the rare hunter was about to push the button, but Seto Kaiba threw a card at his hand knocking the device out of the rare hunters hand and he cursed as he held on to his hand. Mokuba quickly went over to Téa and unstrapped her wrists from the bonds and her ankles, they both made a mad dash away from the cargo that could fall… Joey grabbed Yugi's key since the little boxes had both opened up - he quickly dove into the water to save Yugi from drowning. Tabitha who had open her eyes slightly saw Joey unlocking Yugi's chain. Good, Yugi was going to be alright. The next thing she knew though, Seto Kaiba was in the water and was next to her unlocking her chain. 'Seto Kaiba…' Tabitha slowly closed her eyes as she felt like darkness was falling around her.

Once Kaiba was out of the water he placed Tabitha on the ground softly, he placed his ear to her chest - she wasn't breathing. "She isn't breathing, stand clear." what was Kaiba about to do? He breathed in a deep breath and placed his mouth onto hers (shocking everyone as he did.) and breathed air into her. He was preforming CPR! He did it several times before she started to cough up water. She went to her hands and knees as she tried to breath in air. Once she was able to breath normally, and saw Seto holding out his long cloak like jacket, to her. She blinked, did Seto Kaiba just save her from drowning? And why was he handing her his ridiculously long jacket… he smirked at her. "Who knew you wore such boring white underwear."
Huh?
She looked down and noticed that her normal baggy tee shirt was no longer on her… she was only wearing her white C cup bra and baggy pants, socks and shoes. She quickly grabbed his jacket it and slipped it on and then button up the jacket. No wonder the boy's were blushing red for! "Thanks." She said while blushing a bright red. "You owe me one now, Anderson. Remember that." her eye twitched. The jerk! "
Sis." she was suddenly hugged by her baby brother, with Abbie running up to her as well as Dasha. "We were so scared." said Dasha with a face that looked like she was about to cry at any moment. She looked at her little brother that had tears in his onyx eyes, she patted his head.
"I'm fine, don't worry." She looked at everyone who had worried expressions on their faces (expect for Kaiba) "Really, I'm fine." She then looked towards Yugi, he looked worn out and tired. "Are you alright, Yugi?" he nodded. "Yes, I'm fine. I'm glad you're fine as well." he said with a smile on his face. She let out a sigh of relief. She then untangled her brother from herself and stood up and walked over to Yugi. She took the Millennium Puzzle from around her and put it back around Yugi's neck. "I think this belongs to you." She said with a smile. He smiled at her in thanks. "Thank you- Ouch!" Tabitha then surprised everyone as she took a hold of Yugi's cheek and pinched it. She glared at him. "Don't you dare do that again! Giving me the puzzle like that!" Why was she so mad?
"But it made you snap out of Marik's control, didn't it?"
She stopped pinching him when the name Marik came up. Who was Marik again? And why was he controlling her? "Who is Marik?" Yugi rubbed his sore cheek as he looked at Tabitha. That was right, Tabitha probably didn't know who he was.
"Marik has been trying to steal the Millennium Puzzle… and he wants to kill Yami." Yugi said as he looked down, his fists tightening as he thought about the whole situation. And not only was Marik trying to kill Yami and get the puzzle, he was controlling the minds of his friends and put them against him and Yami. He than felt hands on his shoulders and looked up into turquoise colored eyes. "Yugi… count me in to help you and Yami and everyone. I'm not going to sit back while my friend is in danger - plus, I'm not to thrilled that this Marik took control of my mind, let just say I want to get my own little revenge on him."
Yugi nodded. "Thanks Tabitha."
She smiled back. "No problem." then out of the corner of her eye she saw something or rather someone. And she stood up and faced him with surprise written on her face. "Namu… Ryou!" she gasped. Namu was had Ryou's one arm over his shoulder and held him by his upper body, slowly walking him towards the group. Tabitha and Téa ran towards Namu and Ryou. "I found him on the ground. He's hurt badly - he needs to go to the hospital." said Namu as he looked towards the two worried girls.
"I'll take him to the hospital."
"Grandpa!" Yugi said with surprise. When did he show up? His grandfather called for a taxi and then he took a hold of Ryou and brought him to the taxi and slowly put him in the back seat. Ryou let out a groan. "It will be alright." he told Ryou and then looked at the rest of the teenagers. "Don't worry, I'll take care of him." They nodded and than the taxi was off towards Domino Hospital. Tabitha walked up to Namu. "Namu, what happen after I passed out? Did you see any one unusual?" asked Tabitha. Namu rubbed the back of his head. "I'm not to sure, someone knock me over the head with something, when I woke - you were gone."
Beware of Namu… he is dangerous, he is not what he seems.
What that woman said from before ran through her head and she frowned. Could Namu be telling the truth? Or was it a lie? She had not know Namu for very long, could he be trying to trick her or something? But there was no reason that she could think of why he would do that… "Hey, Tabitha! Is this you're friend?" Joey said with a grin. Tabitha half closed her eyes at him. "Yes, his name his Namu… what are you thinking, you dimwit."
"Hey!"
Kaiba chuckled at her comment.
Tabitha turned back to Namu. "Namu, the blonde is Joey Wheeler and the brunette is Téa Gardner." Tabitha said as she motion to two of her friends that were near him. Namu looked at the two of them, Joey is a sixteen year old short blonde hair and brown eyes, light skin, wearing blue and white tee shirt, blue jeans, white sock and white and grey tennis shoes on this feet. He stood at 5'10" in height, which was just an inch shorter than Namu was, for he was 5'11" in height. Tea on the other hand, the brunette, her hair was short and framed her face, she has big azure color eyes and light skin. She stood at 5'5" in height. She is wearing sleeveless white shirt that is tucked into blue jean short-shorts, thigh-high white socks and blue sandals on her feet. She is also sixteen. They both waved "Hi!" they said in unison.
"It's nice to meet you both." smiled Namu (A fake smile of course.)
Kaiba then spoke up. "Well I'm not going to stay around here any longer with you geeks. Come on Mokuba!"
Tabitha sighed at Kaiba's attitude, why was he such a stuck up jerk? And why did he end up saving her life for… than she thought of something, if they had all seven locator cards where were they suppose to go next?

"Tabitha, come out already!"
"No!"
"If you don't come out, I'm coming in to get you~" Mai gave a sing song voice.
"… Fine…"
Tabitha came out of one of rooms in her new clothes and she was embarrassed. Her hair that was normally down and went to her shoulders in waves was in a ponytail, she is wearing a black sleeveless shirt tucked into a short mini ruffled black skirt, tight black shorts underneath the skirt, black ankle boots and a black belt with silver beads on it. She hated wearing tight fitting clothing that showed off her curves. The outfit reminded her of a female version of Yugi's outfit… Yami who was not to far away saw what she was wearing and was a bit surprised. She looked different, but in a good way. He always thought she was pretty with her turquoise colored eyes and brown hair with blonde highlights. But she looked more feminine wearing those clothes. "You look good." he suddenly spoke up, she looked his way and a blushed formed on her cheeks.
"Thanks." she than walked over to where Yami stood. "I've been meaning to ask you something…" she said slowly. He just nodded.
"What do you need?" he asked her.
"Why do you think Marik wants the Millennium Puzzle?" she asked. "Is their something special about it?"
"He most likely wants it for it's power… it is a three-thousand year old item - one of the seven Millennium Items." for some reason the millennium items sounded familiar to her somehow, she of course knew about it when he told her about his puzzle when she had first met him… but she felt that she heard about it before then.
"It's weird - I feel like I've heard about the Millennium Items before I even met you… from somewhere." she said with a frown. Yami raised an eyebrow at this. "Oh? From where?" Tabitha shook her head. "I'm not sure, it's just a weird feeling I guess." Namu who wasn't that far from the group, overheard them talking and narrowed his eyes. 'She knows about the Millennium Items? Wait, she said it was a weird feeling that she has heard about them… Bakura had said something about her strange aura, I felt it too… but I ignored it, could she be more than she seems?'

{ On the blimp, where the finals are to take place}
As Tabitha walked to the main room on the blimp, she saw Ryou and she was surprised because of the way he was hurt. She made her way towards him. "Ryou… how are you feeling?" she asked and he looked up at her and smile. "I'm good." he still saw a worried look on her face. "Are you sure? You were hurt pretty bad." she said with concern. He just smiled at her. "I'm fine, really." Tabitha let out a sigh of relief. She had been pretty worried about her friend. "You look good by the way." Tabitha blushed. "Thanks. Everyone has been saving that…" she let out a sigh and he seemed to notice it. "Is something the matter?" he asked her. "I'm worried about this whole thing with Marik." she said as she looked at Ryou. "Marik?"
"He wants to kill Yami and take the Millennium Puzzle." Ryou's eyes widen at hearing this.
"What!?"
"Not only that, but he took control of my mind, as well as Téa's." Tabitha looked down with a frown on her face. "But even though, I was being controlled I saw- never mind." she said with a heavy sigh, but before Ryou could ask her anything else, Kaiba spoke up.
"Welcome final duelist! This is where we will continue the duels from now on. The next duelist who go against each other will be decided by lottery, so remember your numbers well." Tabitha watched as each of the duelist took a number from a box, Tabitha was the last to pick her number. She looked at her number and saw it was a nine. "What number did you get?" asked Yami "A nine. You?"
"Six."
Than she heard voice speak up. "For the first duel! '2' Ryou Bakura and '6' Yugi Mutou!" Tabitha couldn't believe it, Yami and Ryou were first up to duel! But she had a bad feeling in the pit of her stomach for some reason… "There is a special dueling arena on the deck on this blimp." Kaiba announced. Tristan grinned. "I'm so there!"

Outside on the desk, everyone watched as Ryou and Yami faced each other. But Tabitha felt like something was going to happen. Yami then noticed that the Millennium Ring appeared around Ryou's neck and his long silver-white locks seem to be spikier and his eye more narrow and dark looking. "Bakura!" Bakura smirked at the Pharaoh. "Took you long enough." said the spirit of the Millennium Ring. "But it seems you where not the first to notice me… hmm." he turned his attention towards Tabitha and she narrowed her eyes. "I had a feeling something wasn't right… so it was you, Bakura."
"Such a smart little cookie…"
She would have glared at him for that comment but the blimp started to shake. "Whoa!" then out of nowhere a man who looked around twenty-six, wearing all black stood in front of Tabitha. He stood at 6'2" with short white hair and lime green narrow eyes. He gave her an evil smirk. "Hello chosen one." Tabitha blinked. "What are you talking about?" she said clearly confused. The man on the other hand just smirked at her. "Ah! So you don't know then? That you were chosen to protect the Pharaoh of course!" Everyone looked up at that. Namu who is really Marik narrowed his eyes at this. 'What is he talking about? There was nothing about any protector in the writings…'
"What are you talking about! What Pharaoh?"
"Heh, you really don't know do you? That just makes things simple for me…" the man went to walk towards her, but suddenly grabbed his face in pain. "Arrgh! My face!" they saw blood slowly dripping down between his fingers. What had hit him? What ever had hit him was extremely fast. Then they heard a deep voice. "If you touch her, you will die."
Yami who had went away from the dueling area went to where Tabitha was. "You okay." She nodded. "I'm fine." he took her hand and quickly took her away from the scene. When they were far enough away, they watched what would happen next. The man with the deep voice that had spoken went in front of the man with white hair, not to close, but not to far in case he tried something. The man that had attacked the white haired man somehow (she didn't know how, she couldn't even see it!) was tall, 6'3" short messy brown hair and cold looking narrow brown eyes. He is wearing a white tee shirt, black jeans, black shoes and a black over coat that reached to his knees. The white haired man chuckled. "Mike Arc - I should I've known… that you would be here." he growled as he wiped the blood from his forehead and face.
"You haven't change one bit, Yash." Mike said as he narrowed his eyes at the man. "Nor you, now get out of my way - so that I can kill her!"
'Kill me? What!?'
Yami who was still besides her pulled her closer to him when he heard this, but Tabitha didn't seem to notice - she was too concern with what was going on. Mike reached to his side and drew his sword, ready to defend himself at any given moment or to protect Tabitha. "I will never stand down." Mike said as he ready himself. Yash glared at him. "Fine, then you shall die at my hand!" he drew his own sword and was about to strike - when all of a sudden, like lighting a short red haired girl with emerald-green eyes did a flying kick, right on the side of his face, making him lose his balance and dropping his sword in the process. She then fell to her feet like a cat would and took a hold of the sword and pointed it at his throat. "Make your move, if you dare…" she said with a glare. "Feh." he than vanished into thin air. "What a coward." she then turned to Mike and pointed a finger at him. "Where the hell have you been!" she yelled as she made a bee line to Mike. He gave her a bored look.
"Robeson? Why are you even looking for me? I said I'm doing this mission alone."
She came up to him nose to nose, she pressed her finger in his chest. "This is our mission, we are supposed to do it together! Damn you!"
Everyone sweat dropped beside Bakura, who only raised an eyebrow at the duo. Tabitha who had let go of Yami's hand, put her hands on her hips. "Can someone please tell me what is going on here!"
Mike and the red head turned to her. "I think you going to have to sit down for this."

I fixed some things in this chapter, but I'm glad to say this is a ten page chapter ^0^ I'm so sorry this took so long, I had the idea in my head for a long time, I lost my stories a couple of times and had to buy new computers.
