Chapter 3: Susan Bones
It's 6:00 in the evening of July 26, 2002, Auror Susan Bones is on her way in a zodiac to stop a wedding that happening between Harry Potter and Romilda Vane which is happening on a Cruise Ship called Norwegian Gem that is on route to Bermuda. After speaking to Harry's friends who noticed that he has been acting weird ever since he started dating Romilda Vane. They knew Harry was depressed after Ginny lost her life to Bellatrix Lestrange in The Battle of Hogwarts and now suddenly, he is marrying Romilda after dating her for a year and a half. This was enough to suspect Romilda as the culprit and arrest her for her crimes. As Susan nears the Cruise Ship, she contacts her teammates fellow Dumbledore's Army members that survived the Battle of Hogwarts like Cho Chang, Dean Thomas, and Anthony Goldstein who are participating this operation.
"Bones here I'm approaching the Stern now" Susan said on her earpiece as she cuts off the engine of the zodiac then she asks, "How are you guys on your end?"
"I'm climbing up the Port side of the boat now" Dean said
"I'm approaching the Altar from the Starboard side" Anthony said
"I'm at the altar already everyone is waiting for the bride to walk down the aisle" Cho said blending in with the crowd.
"Okay I'm hooking up now I'll see everyone at the altar Bones out" Susan said as she fires her grappling gun and the hook landing some solid structure then starts climbing up the boat, once she was on the boat she cast a delusionment spell around her sneaking past the guests and the guards as she heads to the bow of the boat where they are having the altar.
Meanwhile, in Romilda's room, Romilda was getting ready for her big day Marrying Harry Potter the Boy Who Lived the Man who defeated the Dark Lord. After two attempts of trying to get Harry's attention in her 6th year but finally the third time was a complete charm.
She was sitting in front of the Mirror laughing evilly as she brushes her long wavy shiny black hair. She says to herself
"Yes, finally the day is here I get to marry the one and only Harry Potter the chosen one, the boy who lived, and the man who concurred and every title he goes by." Romilda then gets out a heart shaped glass bottle which is filled with love potion It was all thanks Amorentia love potion that I kept giving him ever since I met him at the London Bar and Lounge last year when he was feeling down and heartbroken over the death of that Weasley bitch which was a blessing by itself and comforted him over that moment in his life." Romilda smiled maliciously as she remembers that day
"Once I have the Potter Betrothal ring on my finger, I will have access to the Potter family vault and Harry and I will move to Jamaica to the Potter family beach house and I will set up wards to keep that Granger bitch and her glutton lanky Weasley pet from sniffing-" Romilda was interrupted when she hears a knock on the door which was her father who is going to walk her down the aisle she lets him and he asks
"Romilda are you ready? The sun is about set, and everyone is waiting for you"
"Just about daddy let me put on some lipstick and put on my veil and my bouquet" Romilda replied
As Romilda puts on her lipstick Mr. Vane smiles and says "My little girl is getting married today"
"Yup she is daddy and it's to the man of her dreams" Romilda smirked and asks, "Were you nervous at your wedding with mum?"
"Oh yeah I was terrified so was your mother and I'm sure Harry is too but don't worry once this wedding is over the real magic happens between you and Harry." Mr. Vane replied
"I really hope the magic happens between me and Harry too and thanks dad" Romilda giggled then says as she puts on her veil grabs her bouquet also her wand "I'm ready dad let's go"
Romilda links her arm with her dads as they walk upstairs to the front of the boat where the wedding is being held. At the front of the boat, Susan takes her seat next to Cho, Dean, and Anthony who are waiting for the bride to walk down aisle. She sees Harry who looks handsome in a tuxedo but is under control by the love potion. As they wait for Romilda Cho says to Susan "Glad you can make it before the Bride"
"Yeah I didn't have any trouble on my end" Susan said then asks "Did you bring the elixir"
"Yup I have it right here" Cho said showing off a vial filled clear liquid then giving it to Susan .
"Okay good I can't wait to see the look on Vane's face when we bust her for dosing Harry with the love potion" Susan said putting the elixir away.
"Me too" Cho said, "Especially when Hermione told us what was going on with and why he is acting like a robot all the time."
"I know I can't believe Vane would sink this low after Harry lost Ginny two years ago." Susan said
"Uh-uh people say that I would do something like this because I couldn't get over the break up that Harry and I had because of our debacle of a relationship in my sixth year and his fifth year." Cho said
"I know that you and Harry made amends and remained friends, right?"
"Yes, we did, and this mission is personal for because I know that Vane would accuse me of making a love potion because I want to 'start over' with Harry but I'm not doing that"
"Okay I understand that you're a little heated about this and you want to-"
"Shh look guys the bride coming" Anthony interrupted as Romilda walks down the aisle with her father to the altar once there she stands with Hermione who is the Maid of Honor and Romilda's friends as the bridesmaids they were standing one side of the altar and Harry was standing on the other side with Ron as his best man and Neville, Seamus and Cormac as the groomsmen, she gives Mr. Vane a kiss on the cheek and then he sits down with Romilda's mother.
The official walks up to the podium and gets out his book, he looks at both Harry and Romilda who nodded their heads at him to start the wedding as Harry and Romilda holding each other hands. The official begins the wedding with "Dearly beloved we are gathered here on the Norwegian Gem Cruise Liner for the unification of love between Harry James Potter and Romilda Andrea Vane" the official turns to Harry and asks "Harry James Potter do you take Romilda Andrea Vane as your lawfully and wedded wife for better or for worse, to have and to hold, to love and to cherish, for richer or for poorer, for sickness and in health till death do you part"
"I do" Harry said in a monotonous tone
The Official turns to Romilda and asks the same thing he asked Harry "Romilda Andrea Vane do you take Harry James Potter as your lawful and wedded Husband for better or for worse, to have and to hold, to love and to cherish, for richer or for poorer for sickness and in health till death do you part"
"I do" Romilda said gleefully
"Now before we get to the magical part of this wedding is there anybody in the audience that objects these two beautiful young people from getting married speak now or forever hold your peace"
"WE OBJECT!"
The everybody gasped and turned their heads to see Susan, Cho, Dean and Anthony take off their disguises, walk down aisle, draw out their wands and points them at Romilda.
"WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS ABOUT" Romilda Howled
"Romilda Andrea Vane you are under arrest" Cho said
"What for Chang and Bones" Romilda snarled
"For the use of the Amorentia Love Potion on Harry Potter" Susan chimed in
The guests were shocked even Romilda's parents were shocked at the revelation of what she done to the Chosen one.
"I would never do that Harry I love him with all of my heart" Romilda said
"Oh yeah how come Harry's friends told us that Harry has been acting very strange ever since he has been with you for 18 months" Susan replied
"That's because he is in love with me the most beautiful and caring he has ever known" Romilda said
"Yeah that's only in your head because you've trying to get with Harry ever since he has been announced as the chosen one in our sixth year" Susan said
"How should you know you're not even a Gryffindor and who the fuck invited you and the weeping slut Chang" Romilda demanded
"It was me I called Susan and the others" Hermione said joining Susan, Cho, Dean, and Anthony
"What Hermione! Why would you do that?" Romilda gasped
"Because I can't let you destroy Harry's life, and I knew something oddly was going on this past year and half" Hermione said
"You Bitch I trusted you how could this to me." Romilda hissed
"I'm his best friend I can't let you have him as your slave" Hermione snapped
"Well I think we heard enough it's time wake Harry up" Susan said as she takes the elixir out walks up to Harry opens it. She tips his head pours the liquid down Harry's throat. Harry's eyes started to clear up for the haze.
"What the hell where am I" Harry groaned and swayed
Susan held him upright and Harry looks at Susan whose smile and her shoulder-length auburn hair was shining bright in the sun for a brief moment She asked him "Are you okay Harry"
"Susan is that you? ugh what the hell is going on? Why am I dressed in a tuxedo? Am I on a boat?" Harry asked
"Yes, you are on a boat, you look very handsome in the tux and you were about to get married" Susan said
"Um thanks but who am I getting married to?" Harry asked
"Romilda Vane" Susan said
"Romilda Vane! What?" Harry gasped "I remember I was having a drink with her at the bar and I went to the bathroom and-" Harry paused as recollects the memories of meeting Romilda then asks "She spiked my drink didn't she?"
"Yup she did Harry if you two would have kissed right now it would have been game over" Susan said
"Get the fuck away from him" Romilda ordered then rushes to Harry and pleads "Baby don't believe Bones come on let's get back to the altar and have our magical wedding"
Harry pushes her off and tells her "No Romilda you drugged me and I can't be with someone that loves me as a prize to be won I'm sorry if I said that but the wedding is off"
Romilda stood there in horror as now a fully conscious Harry calls off her fairytale wedding. As Dean and Anthony were about to arrest her, she looks at Hermione and Susan with anger and hatred for ruining her wedding with the chosen one she then pulls out her wand and casts two non-verbal jinxes at Dean and Anthony who were caught off guard and knocked down.
Cho tells the guests to get out of here and joins in the fray and fires the impedimenta charm at Romilda, but she blocks it and casts smoke bomb charm at Cho. The former Gryffindor launches a non-verbal confringo at Susan but the former Hufflepuff dodges and retaliates with Stupefy but Romilda blocks the spell with Protego and transfigures two tables into tigers to deal with Susan and Cho while she deals Hermione who betrayed her.
She points her wand at the brainy golden trio member who was cursing herself for forgetting her wand in this situation.
"What's the matter Granger you forgot your wand? too bad I hope you will see that weaslette bitch in the next dimension" Romilda cackled she then gives an evil smirk and says "This is for betraying me Avada Ked-" she was interrupted when somebody casts expelliarmus which makes her wand fly out of her hand then she looks at Harry who casted the spell and then casts stupefy and knocks Romilda out cold.
After defeating the two tigers Susan and Cho came to where Romilda was knocked out and placed magic suppression handcuffs and puts them on her when she gets up she looks around frantically "What the hell let go of me I have a wedding to complete"
Susan replies with "Can't let you do that Vane not only you used Amorentia Potion on Harry, you assaulted us and you tried to use the killing curse on Hermione"
"Which lands you in a lifetime stay at Azkaban Island Prison Resort where the bogggarts will always keep you entertained for all of eternity, also you will spend it with other likeminded individuals like Death Eaters, my ex best friend Marietta Edgecombe, Former Journalist for the Daily Prophet Rita Skeeter, Former Minister for Magic Cornelius Fudge and Former Head of the Muggle-Born Registration Delores Umbridge. So, come on it's fun for the whole family unless if you're the Malfoys who are also enjoying themselves as well." Cho interjected
"Good one Cho" Susan chuckled then tells Dean "Dean set up the Portkey back to the Ministry"
"Alright Susan" Dean said as he set up the Portkey "Okay it's set is everybody ready?"
"Yeah" Susan, Cho, and Anthony said in unison
As the four aurors and a Handcuffed Romilda were about to leave Harry calls out to Susan "Wait Susan"
Susan asks, "What is it Harry?"
"I was wondering if want to have some coffee tomorrow morning"
Susan blushes "Harry are you asking me out"
Harry gives her a lopsided grin and responds, "Am I not?"
Susan giggles and says "Okay sure I'd like that Harry, but I have to take Vane back to the Ministry and to a holding cell"
"Don't worry Susan I'll take Vane back you enjoy yourself with Harry" Cho said
"Okay Cho thanks" Susan said as she watches Cho, Dean, Anthony, and Romilda leave for the Ministry, she turns to Harry asks "What about Ginny aren't you still sad about what happened to her"
"I'm still sad about that moment but Ginny would want me to live my life and not mope about her death" Harry assures Susan
"Okay" Susan Said as she smiles at Harry and he smiles back as the Boat continues to Bermuda Island.
Three Years Later
On a clear and sunny day on the Norwegian Ariel Cruise Line Harry once again in tuxedo stands at the altar waiting for his bride to walk down aisle he smiles at his best man Ron and the maid of Honor Hermione who made everything possible again. There she was the audience turns to look at the Bride walking down the aisle with Arthur Weasley who volunteered since her father died in the first wizarding war. Harry unveils her veil and it was Susan who looked amazing in her wedding dress. After their coffee date on the cruise Harry and Susan have been spending time together, she helped him through his depression over Ginny's death and found Bellatrix where defeated her and Ginny, Tonks, Sirius, and Molly were avenged. As the official was done reading their vows Harry and Susan shared a passionate kiss and everybody cheered for the newlyweds.
