Stolas Pov
'I hope Octavia is feeling alright after that dreadful business with the assassins at LooLoo Land' I left our guest in the kitchen before going to check on Octavia.
I came to her door door knocking on it before coming in, as I pulled down the handle and opened the door I could hear Octavia sniffling "what's wrong my little owlet?" I go and sit on the bed. Looking at my daughters face her tears caused her makeup to streak down her face "dad your not going to leave me alone are you?" her eyes full of desperation I gently hug her "your not going to leave me and run away with that red weirdo" her grip tightening on me" I look her in the eyes "no I would never leave you my sweet child you are the world to me my shineing little starfire" I wiped a tear from her cheek.
We just sat there for a few moments in silence until "what happened between you and mom you were so close but now you both fight all the time?" her voice quiet while looking at the ground 'how do I say this this' I took a breath "Octavia your mother and I..we never were..Im sorry I don't have the words" putting my face in my hands in shame.
"Will things get better or worse dad" she looks at the floor "I don't know but I will be here and nothing will ever make me leave" I hug my daughter to comfort her which she gives a small sigh and smiles "are you feeling okay about what happened with the ruffians at LooLoo Land?" she let go of the hug "I'm okay but if it hadn't been for that Sinner then I don't wannaknow what would have happened if he wasn't there" Octavia shuddered remembering the fear she had felt in those moments.
"There is something that weirded me out before I got away he was using some kind of magic that felt weird" now that caught my attention aside from the fact that sinners are unable to leave the Pride Ring this is even more evidence for suspicion "is that so" I raise my brow "he's alright for a sinner" she smiles.
She turns to me again "and dad thanks for the talk" I give her one last hug before getting up feeling like we managed to break the tension that has been there for some time "any time you need to talk dont be afraid to talk to me" I stood up from her bed and left her room 'now while some questions have been answered Im only left with more towards Blitzo's new employee with the evidence now gathered it seems I have to speak with our invited guest' I made my way back to the kitchen to see him jumping away from one of my carnivorous plants "Jesus christ, okay staying the hell away from that thing" he walked to the table as I could see that he had prepared water for some mugs.
He doesn't notice me as I came up behind me "making yourself at home I see" he jumps "ahhhhh ha ha ha don't do that you nearly gave me a heart attack he held his chest "but no I just had a feeling that some tea would be good after what happened today" he pours the water from the kettle into the two mugs.

Stolas gave Niall a small nod "quite as exciting as the day has been distressing on all of us" Niall gave a small chuckle "that's for sure I need to learn how to use a gun from work because that's the..." he paused counting on his finger "yeah the 4th time I've nearly died in 3 days wow I need to get better because If not people are going to start getting sick of saving my ass" chuckling again to himself with this news causing Stolas to be surprised.
Niall finished making the the tea and handed a mug to Stolas "wouldn't you rather sit it would be easier to relax and talk" Stolas suggested which Niall just shrugged "I don't mind" they both took a seat at the table "thank you for saving my daughter today Niall she means the world to me" Stolas told him before taking a sip "it was my job but I would have done it anyway I can't stand by seeing good people getting hurt" he explained slowly drinking his own before speaking again "we talked for a bit and I managed to find out what was bugging her and convinced to talk to you about them she reminds me of myself when I was younger" Stolas saw his smile turn sad.
"She's a strong girl but she's been struggling seeing her mother and I fighting" Stolas explaining the situation that is causing Octavia's distress making Niall's curiosity grow "why are you and your wife fighting..if its okay for me to ask that is" Niall started ringing his hands slightly in worry as he anticipates his host's answer.
Stolas shudders "that is a fair question, when I was a child I was assigned what my duties to undertake for the Ars Goetia family which were to study the Stars and what prophecy surrounded them and to provide an heir in the case of my death...this was resolved by my father as he set up an arranged marriage between myself and Stella" as Stolas continued his explanation Niall just sat there taking it all in and processing it.
Stolas takes a drink from his tea before speaking on "We well I tried to make it work, I worked for years trying to make things comfortable but Stella was never happy always tormenting and insulting me for years and when Blitzo showed up I felt a passion in my life I hadn't felt for years and Stella found out after he fell from my balcony telling her sorry I fucked your husband-" Niall does a spittake to the side coughing hard into his arm while making a timeout with his hands "I could tell Blitzo has done some stuff but that is a whole new layer of stupid" rubbing his temples after listening to the chain of events "if this has been going on for years why haven't you left taking Octavia with you?" wondering why the hell this demon prince of hell would put up with abuse for over a decade.
Stolas finishes his tea "I wanted to give her a somewhat normal life but now I have no idea what's going to happen" Niall reached over holding Stolas by the shoulder "Stolas you've done the best job you can and your stronger than you think most people would just leave not wanting to deal with this shit especially with this sort of marriage which only makes you deserve more respect, things will work out eventually" he finishes with drinking the last of his tea.
Stolas levitated the mugs away into the sink before looking back towards Niall "while I do thank you for help with Octavia it is time we get down to business on which I have requested you here for" Niall sat there confused his curiosity about to be answered "I know what you are human" Stolas stated "what come on we both know humans can't get to hell "that isn't precisely true as several mortals have achieved this such as Dante and furthermore what happened yesterday proves that you are human" thinking on humouring him despite Hydranoid whispering quietly enough so Stolas doesn't hear "Niall don't be stupid" Niall ignores him "alright how am I a supposed living human in hell?" smirking but Stola's look remained "no sinner is able to leave the Pride Ring and your disguise while good cannot fool higher classes of demons" he interlocks his hands placing his elbows on the table.
Niall freezes "told you" he hears Hydranoid's whisper 'FFFFFFFUUUUUUUCCCCCCKKKKKK' he gulps hard "what are you going to do then since you know?" Niall panicking internally wondering what Stolas's next move will be "I will do nothing" Niall was shocked to hear this "you were willing to sacrifice your own life to save my daughter a demon which the act itself would damn your soul so I owe you and keeping you and your little friend a secret" Stolas eyed Nialls shirt pocket sensing some form of energy emanating from it "awri Hydranoid come on out we've been made" Niall groaned as the bakugan flew from his shoulder pocket "I told you that this was going to happen" he said to Niall as his partner looked continually more annoyed.
Stolas watched as what to he saw was a human and and a toy arguing laughing to himself and the sight covering his mouth while doing so "I can't think of every possible outcome especially when it comes to stuff I haven't even had a week to learn about any of it" Niall argued with Hydranoid "I think we are starting to get off track" Hydranoid said after noticing Stolas laughing at the situation making Niall go quiet and looks the same direction as Hydranoid noticing Stolas "your right time to get back to business" Stolas finishes laughing composing himself.
"How did you come to find yourself in hell and since arriving for just over half of the week been living?" Stolas asked being direct and getting to the point "the first one some shadow thing brought me here through a portal in its words for a game through some portal, and for where I'm staying I'm at the Happy Hotel that Princess Charlie set up" his answer bringing a smile to Stola's face "Princess Charlotte she used to be good friends with Octavia at least they were before Charlotte set up her hotel" his smile fading as quick as it had come.
"How have you not been able to return home if you've been able to receive help from the Princess" Stolas asked as if Niall had arrived by a portal he should have been able to leave by one. Niall sighed reaching around the back of his head "that's where things get complicated by some magical mumbo jumbo when I was brought here the portal split my soul in half had put one half into my bakugan granting it life and powers with a connection to me I'm able to use the power of the Darkus attribute and because I don't have a complete soul I can't go through portals" explaining the situation that he was in.
Stolas processed the information "I haven't heard something like is before, I may be able to find some in my grimoire if that may help" Nialls eyes shot open wide "Yes please I need any help I can get right now". Stolas stood up from his chair "good now that this has been dealt with I will have someone take you back to the Princesses hotel it's been refreshing to have someone over to the house" Niall followed him as Stolas took him outside "today has been exciting so talking with you was a nice change of pace and thanks for this I can't imagine how much of a position I'm putting you in" Niall standing by the car ment to take him home looking back over at his host which waves his hand "its nothing I don't already deal with and you have helped me more than you realise now it's time for you to head back before the Princess gets worried" Niall freezes "ssshhhhiiittttt" he whispers nearly sounding as if he was hissing practically jumps into the car with it driving off quickly.
Stolas watched the car leave laughing at seeing the personality of the human Niall is chaotic and if not slightly cartoonish but frowns quickly "many will be after him for his soul and if not his bakugan it would be best if I start right away to see if I can find a way to get him home" he turns and enters his home with his destination being his library which housed his collection of arcane lore.
Niall's Pov
"I can already feel the future lump that's goin in the back of my head" knowing that I'm going to get whacked upside to the head "a day you don't get in trouble will be a miracle" Hydranoid groans at my frustrations. I calmed down and thought back on the events of what happened during the job 'so first thing tomorrow I have to go and collect my pay, then I need to do more training today was evidence enough of that' I rub my chin feeling my beard starting to grow back and I lift up Hydranoid "today was a start we are going to get stronger and be ready for anything that comes our way" he nods at my declaration "we are unstoppable when we work as a team" I finally felt it was time to try out something I've been cooking up since Hydranoid was disappointed that he couldn't do much in his ball form.
I raise my hand channeling the power of Darkus through me with the goal clear in my head and focusing on in it remembering the power of when Hydranoid transforms but using a fraction of it I transferred the energy into Hydranoid "Niall what are you doing?" Hydranoid's voice raising in worry so I calmed his nerves "trust me if it works you'll thank me" he freaks out and shouts "IF IT WORKS?!" as I finished the transference there was a flash of light blinding me for a bit . I opened my eyes "Niall I don't know whether to to hit you or thank you" I see that Hydranoid has become a chibi form of himself but there seems to have been a cost.
I sweat drop "Hydranoid we have a little problem it seems that to gain this ability it well your back to your first form" Hydranoid just falls over in my lap "that's not good" I shake him a bit however I get interrupted by the driver "sir we have arrived" the door opens and I get out of the car "thanks for the ride" giving my compliment he drives off with very few words "it's my job sir".
So now I am standing in front of the hotel I open the door to see Alastor in the Lobby talking to Husker but seems to have heard me opening the door and turns around "ah Niall my boy the princess is worried about you when you didn't show up from that assassination business and it seems your little fellow has gotten bigger" referencing Hydranoid who is in my arms "I was speaking with the guy who hired us for the job since I saved his daughter and he had a servant give me a ride back" Satisfied with my answer he went back to Husker but not before giving me a piece of advice "I would recommend that you go and visit Charlotte to calm her worrys she's been frantic for the past 2 hours which has been quite annoying".
Taking his advice I go up to Charlie's room and knock on her door "Charlie you there I just got back from work" I wait for an answer 'damn Hydranoid gets heavy after a while' the door opens revealing Charlie wearing casual clothes instead of her business suit with a pout etched into her face "I was so worried about you I thought you got into trouble again" putting her hands on her hips "Charlie I was fine Prince Stolas wanted to talk to me after I saved his daughter when I was on the job " she raised her eyebrows and her expression shifts to surprise "you saved Octavia" I smile "yeah shes awri made her leg it while I held off the assassins and as a bonus from the pay I have to collect tomorrow Stolas is looking for a way for me to get home" she beams into a smile and gets excited hugging me "that's amazing and oh my god he's so cute" she grabs Hydranoid from my arms cuddling him close to her chest.
Hydranoid wakes up right in the middle of this predicament but doesn't complain about it "I used a new trick I came up with now he change change from ball to that form at will but he's now a lot weaker and will have to work to regain his evolutions" she pets Hydranoids spines which me gave a strange growling purr "Charlie can you stay with him for a while there's some stuff I want to take care of in my room" she looks at me weirdly before saying "that's okay but come by later Vaggie and I need to speak with you later" this wasn't surprising since its happened a few times now "sure" I leave her room before going up to my own.
No Ones Pov
Charlie stroked Hydranoid neck as she sat on the bed as her thoughts drifted on ways to get more sinners to join the hotel 'maybe some fliers or another musical would work...no but there has to be something I can't give up because If I do the cycle of slaughter will never end' Hydranoid looks up at her nudging her with his head.
She feels something poking her and looks down to see it was Hydranoid "Niall got hurt again, I could see the blood on his clothes" she received a grim look from her scaly companion "unfortunately so he's getting stronger with the training I've been giving him but he's still putting himself against risks he knows he's likely going to lose if he doesn't stop he's going to go against someone that will be the end of him sooner or later" Charlie couldn't help but wonder why a human would in the span of only a few days risk his life numerous times.
So she asked "do you know why he's doing this?" Hydranoid thought on the answer for a moment and came to an idea based on what he has learned so far "he's damaged which we've learned and he was once in love with a girl called Alicia I've heard him say her name in his sleep with it sounding as if he was having a nightmare. This must have went south as you remind him of him since we heard him when he thought he was about to die that he saw you as her dye to some resemblance or from blood loss and was regretful I believe that due to whatever happened between him and his ex has made that he refuses to lose anyone he cares about to an extreme that he would go to whatever length in near obsession to make sure they are safe" hearing this concerned as he would co tinge to recklessly endanger himself unless he comes to turn with his issues but due to his experience would feel that these tendencies are necessary.
Charlie stroked Hydranoids back seeing his tail sway from side to side from getting an itchy spot on him "what do you think we should do Princess?" she was asked and knew what already had to be done "we should enroll him into the Happy Hotel he may not be a sinner but we can make so he has the best chance to live a happy life in heaven" her solemn expression turning into a small smile silently hoping that her residents could find some form of happiness and peace.
When she finished her train of thought she cuddled Hydranoid a bit too hard with his eyes bugging out 'he's so cute' however Hydranoid had a different opinion on the matter 'Niall HELP MMMMEEEEE!' the lack of oxygen turning his face blue Charlie oblivious to his plight continued to hold him tight to her.
VoxTech Headquarters
Three Overlords sat a table with two wondering why they were there "Val why did you call us here I have a new line of merchandise being released and I need to get back to oversee it" Vox wanted an explanation as to why he had to be drawn away from work "Yeah Vallie I was having fun seeing what my latest patch of potions"
Valentino gave his sharklike grin "Voxy baby I wouldn't have called you and Velvet here for a social call, something interesting has been come on down to us from above a human has somehow come to hell every single high ranking demon or powerful overlord felt its arrival and a human soul in hell especially the energy from this one can give anyone enough firepower so that anybody that fucks with us for good.
Velvet and Vox's expression shifted as the realised just how much of an opportunity lay before them "I could finally wipe out that radio relic Alastor showing him the superiority of modern technology" Vox grins maniacally at the thought of finally getting rid of the thorn in his side while Velvet giggled "oh this is going to be so much fun".
Valentino took out a map "thanks to my bitches on the street I've got some info on where the rat may be hiding, he's been sighted at an office building in imp City and in alley near that stupid hotel that the princess set up" Vox took out his phone "I'll get my cameras to monitor anything on him but it'll be useless if I don't have a picture of the human"
Velvet raised her arm jumping "I've seen some pictures of him on voxstagram my followers have to seen them somewhere I wonder how loud his screams are"
Valentino could see it now with this plan the three of them could become untouchable by any of the other Overlords permanently with the only threat being the royalty of hell 'now where is Angel he owes daddy some money' pulling out his phone and opening it to Angel's contact before calling.
A deadly plot transpires will Niall manage to survive not just the plan of the mysterious Shadow Entity that brought him to his current stay in hell, can he thwart the plans of the triple VVV. In the midst of chaos will he find romance in the most unlikely of places find out on the next chapter.
