-Remnant, Soltias, Atlas, Schnee Manor-

Within the white rooms of the Schnee manor, the camera zoomed down several hallways until it reached the far corner, where the door was opened and a figure sat on a velvet chair near the window.

This figure was a short pale skinned young woman with long white hair that is pulled back into an off-center ponytail on the right side of her head, pale blue eyes, a B cup chest and small ass, wearing a white thigh-length strapless dress with a faint pale blue color gradation at the hem, a small piece of black lace on the front of her neckline, a scalloped snowflake-like hem, several layers of white tulle under the snowflake shaped skirt, a thin white sash with a pouch around her waist, a bell-sleeved white bolero with red lining and a ruffled collar, a white snowflake shaped emblem on the back of the bolero, a silver chain with a red apple shaped pendant on it, thin rectangular silver earrings, a silver icicle-shaped tiara, and white red lined wedged heeled boots with a small silver snowflake across the top of the foot, who seemed to still be in shock and...worried for something.

This was Weiss Schnee, the 'W' of Team RWBY and one of the survivors of the Fall of Vale, which just happened only days ago and for her...she felt like a coward for not helping her team and instead being dragged back to Atlas by her father in a sign of 'kindness'. But for her, she was back in her prison and was conflicted about leaving to find her friends or keep up appearances for her family's legacy.

So far things had gone back to what they were before she left for Beacon, except her father has been very firm in her forgetting about what happened and just doing what she's had to deal with for years.

And this wasn't helping her survivalist's guilt, at all.

'Just...what is my purpose anymore?' she thought before her body glowed green along with her eyes for a brief second. 'Eh?'

'Huh. This...is actually unexpected.' said a voice reminiscent of the late headmaster of Beacon from within the back of Weiss' subconscious. 'And here I thought I would be older, and maybe a bit taller too.'

"EH!?" she let out, looking around her room and standing up. "Who said that? Show yourself!"

'Relax Miss Schnee.' the voice said, sounding a little amused at her scared expression and mannerisms. 'I am not a threat, nor am I a delusion of your frankly disturbed mind. I mean by the gods, this place is like a mirror full of twisted dreams in here, and that was just the daydream section, you really don't want to know about the subconscious desires section...ugh. And there I thought Qrow was the disturbed one.'

"Who are you!?"

'Ah yes, that little question. You know me as Ozpin but as you can see, that's not really the case anymore. And no, I'm not a ghost, I am a soul trapped in your head.'

"..." she smacked her cheeks and shook her head. "Ok Weiss, stay calm. The stress is just making you hear Ozpin's voice in your head, that doesn't mean you're going nuts...does it?"

'To the outside observer looking in, yes.' 'Ozpin' said with a chuckle. 'But given the fact that we are in a room with no cameras, video recordings or the like to minick my voice and the clear motive for why someone would do such a thing, right after an invasion no less, to the Schnee's most talented singer. I find it unlikely you are in any way 'nuts'.'

"..."

'Look, I know it's a lot to understand, but-'

BAM!

BAM!

'Miss Schnee! Stop banging your head against the wall!' he yelled as the white haired girl started to bang her head on the nearby wall.

"I'm not mad, I'm not mad, I'm not mad, I'm not mad-"

'Miss Schnee!'

"Shut up!" Weiss yelled while banging her head on the wall even harder as her aura shattered. "Just shu-"

Wooom.

Weiss' eyes turned green as the voice gained control of her body and groaned. "Well, this isn't the first time someone tried to hurt themselves when I revealed myself...but this is the first time they used a wall. And a marble one no less."

'WHAT GOING ON!?'

"Miss Schnee, I need you to CALM. DOWN." 'Ozpin' said sternly, making Weiss stop yelling and gulp in her head. "Sorry for the tone, but this 'I'm mad' line of thinking is getting old."

'What else can it be?! I'm literally screaming in my own head while you're talking through my lips!'

"True. But I'm not the one trying to bash my, I mean your, brains out."

'...'

"If you want an explanation, I'm willing to provide."

'Then do it.'

(One explanation later)

"And that Miss Schnee is my origins."

'...so your name is Ozma.'

"Yes."

'You're a wizard.'

"More of a Warlock really. I was a powerhouse in my day."

'There's a Queen of the Grimm that was your wife.'

"Ex-wife."

'She became immortal trying to save you from death but saw humanity destroyed.'

"Yeah, I don't have many memories of that time but she did do that...although the gods did most of the work."

'And you, a being that reincarnates, was supposed to unite humanity with...four relics?'

"Yep."

'But you failed, got your wife pissed off, and ruined the world.'

"...yeah in highsight, I should've told her about my mission instead of playing with her emotions."

'And now, after you were killed by a Maiden, one of four to be exact.'

"False Maiden, Miss Schnee. There's a distinct difference between a true Maiden and a false one."

'And...you expect me to HELP you stop your immortal wife!? That's bullshit! You took over my body and you expect me to kill an IMMORTAL!? Does anyone else know about her immortality besides you!?'

"..."

'You idiot! You dolt! You green eyed idiotic son of a-'

"Alright alright, I can see why you're upset, but cursing won't solve anything." Ozpin sighed. "Besides, in my current state, I have no control over the other members of my inner circle and even if I did, why would they suspect me to be...well a Schnee."

'And why wouldn't they?'

"Well..."

'Let me guess, my father's hold on the company and its negative impact on the world?'

"Yes."

'...damn it. He is such a...ugh!'

"Trust me, I already know." Ozpin sighed. "And I have a proposition for you."

'What?'

"If you allow me to use your body for a while, I can guarantee that I, with my knowledge of the human condition, can repair the Schnee name and possibly your familiar connections."

'...eh?' She replied in confusion. 'What do you mean?'

"Simple, I can reconnect the family and fix the mistakes of your father."

'Really? That's...not possible.'

"Miss Schnee, I've been in your head for days now, looking at your memories and I dare say that it's worse than the Branwen Tribe." he said while getting, although he almost tripped due to having heeled shoes on. "But I have to admit, you're partially to blame for a few things."

'What do you mean!?'

"No need to yell." he said sternly. "And to answer our question, you haven't been the star pupil in this family. Yes, you are trying to help fix the company, but do you even know about the people? The conditions they face every day? The hardships and need for work?"

'Well...'

"You, Miss Schnee, lived in luxury while others had to survive by the skin of their teeth. You know nothing of poverty and even if you knew, the family fortune fixed it all up." he said while moving towards Weiss' sword and used it as a replacement cane. "Despite not being like Jacques Gélé, you are unwilling to step into someone else's shoes."

'I am not like him!'

"I know, but you do have is stubborness and, pardon my words, snobbishness. You look to your older sister for support even when she wants nothing to do with the family name, your younger brother wanted a friend but, with your actions, pushed him to the wayside and into your father's ways, and poor Willow Schnee." he sighed while Weiss looked very confused. "I see someone that really wanted the best for you, only for the truth to break her down to her weakest form."

'What do you mean?'

"She tried to stand up to you, on your tenth birthday as I recall." Ozpin said while Weiss recalled that very old memory, buried away by hardship and loneliness. "But upon hearing the truth, she became an alcoholic. Miss Schnee, while I don't condone her neglect, as a former alcoholic myself, I can say that you really didn't give her a reason to stop and remake her life. If you, or anyone else for that matter, looked past the facade of a drunk woman and saw her as a lonely woman, maybe things would've changed for the better."

'...'

Ozpin sighed, knowing that his words might've been harsh to the young girl. "I know this is difficult to understand but to better repair your relations with your family and fix the honor the Schnees once had, perhaps it's a good idea to allow me to take control and show you what a little thing called empathy can do?"

'...are you sure letting you do all of that will help?'

"Well, perhaps, but it is better to try than to do nothing at all."

'Ok...fine.' Weiss sighed. 'But for how long?'

"Mmmmm. About three months, maybe a year."

'WHAT!?'

"You can have some control over your body during certain private moments. I'm not that heartless." he said while Weiss looked a little vivid, especially when she had to spend a year as a backseat driver...to her own body.

'And how do I know it won't be longer?'

"Miss Schnee, I might be an immortal secret keeper but I am a man of my word." he said in disbelief.

'Except to your wife.'

"Details detail!"

'...just keep the damage under control and I won't be screaming in your, I mean my ears every night, kapish?'

"Deal." He said before hearing a knock at the door and saw Whitley Schnee open it, seemily with the intent to 'mock' Weiss.

"Ah, sis-"

"I'm sorry." 'Weiss' said as Whitley looked confused.

"What? Sorry for what?"

"For acting like a complete idiot to you." 'She' said before walking over and hugging the surprised boy tightly. "For leaving you alone and not considering your feelings since you were born. I want to apologize for all of that."

Whitley went wide eyed, looking at his 'sister' with confusion and surprise. "I...uh...just wanted to inform you father wanted to see you."

"I see." 'She' said while still hugging him. "Thank you brother, I will see him in a minute."

Whitley blinked at the calm tone before seeing her smile at him, a first for the boy.

"Say, perhaps later we can do something fun, anything you want." 'She' said kindly as the younger brother was not only confused, but thought this was a dream.

"Uh...o...k?" He said sheepishly as 'Weiss' let him go and he slowly walked out of the room, very much confused. '...what just happened?!'

"And that Miss Schnee." Ozpin said while Weiss was a little stunned. "Is how you rekindle a sibling bond."

'...'

"As for my feminine voice, this isn't the first female body and it won't be the last." he said with a chuckle.

'I...have no words.'

"You know, my last host said the same thing."

'In this exact situation?'

"Not exactly, at the time I helped him with paperwork when he was only twelve, as the youngest headmaster in Beacon. He looked ready to pass out from the stress until I stepped in." He said while Weiss was too busy being in shock to respond.

'...'

(A few days later)

-Atlasian Military Base HQ-

Knock knock.

Winter grumbled, her attire currently a white nightgown that revealed her nether regions and her hair a mess of white, as she got out of bed, expecting it to be a soldier sent by the general. 'I hate early morning assignments.'

But as she opened the door, she saw it was her own sister, who seemed to have green eye contact lenses on and holding a familiar clock shaped cane in her hands.

"Ah, sister." She said calmly. "Am I interrupting something?"

"Weiss? What are you doing here? Don't you know how early it is? And...why did you put in contact lenses?"

"Yes, which is why I came here. And yes, they are contact lenses." She lied while walking into the room. "And I have a good reason to visit."

"Wait, how-"

"Ironwood let me in." She said while taking a seat on the bed. "Now sister, let's discuss our...relationship."

Winter raised an eyebrow, but shut the door and moved over to sit beside her. "What do you mean?"

"I'm going to be frank with you." Weiss said calmly. "We aren't close anymore, at all."

"What? But we are close."

"In the past maybe, but at this point in time, no. I mean every single time we meet, you appear to me as a soldier, not a sister. You are cold, detached and just dismissive on occasion." she said while the older sister looked a little stunned at her words. "You don't visit, even when father is around, keeping me under his strings. You are just...detached, unwilling to visit or even act like the older sister that hugged me when I was sick."

"I...I still do that, but my work-"

"Is your work more important than your family?"

"..."

"That rests my case." Weiss said while getting up. "Apparently, you're a soldier first, a human being second. And here I thought I could get you to open up a little, but if you want to be like that, I can leav-"

"Wait wait!" Winter said quickly while grabbing Weiss' left arm. "What are you even talking about? How am I being-"

"Being a soldier first? Well, part of it is Ironwood's reliance on machines. I mean look what happened in Vale, machines going rogue because of one coup from an unknown force aka the Grimm." Weiss said with a calm tone. "If that shows the flaws of keeping the human condition bottled up for so long, then that reveals the incomplete actions of holding the burden of the entire world. Sister, I'm not saying to question Atlas, much, but you need to step back and contemplate the actions you give others, the good and the bad. If you don't, then why bother being human at all?"

"I-"

"You are young, experienced, well taught. All the traits for a perfectly good human being, and yet you dive into your work most of the time, never have time for family or friends, and the relationships? My gods, you might one day find yourself alone-"

"OK! I get it!" Winter frowned. "What does this have to do with anything!?"

"Simple, you're acting like father too much." Weiss said as Winter's face paled in horror. "You are neglectful of mother, Whitley and most of all, me. All in the line of 'Atlasian Duty'."

"Take that back...take it back!"

Weiss' smile changed to a frown, one that made Winter shiver a little. "I think I will not. Unless you want to try and make me? I mean a Schnee gets everything they want, even take backs. So come on sister, show me that aggression that father taught you, make me take my truthful words back."

Winter frowned in anger as her mind was conflicted between hurting her sister for making a fool out of her or being the bigger person and taking the words to heart.

"But know this, if you strike, I strike back." Weiss said while Winter frowned.

"You wouldn't."

"I would, I'm a huntress like you. One that saw her team break during an invasion." she frowned. "I'm more than capable of defending myself from a coward like you."

And like that, Winter saw red and grabbed her sword from the nearby nightstand and swung it at her sister in a blind rage.

Only for it to be blocked and thrown across the room by Weiss' cane, seemily with the grace and skill of a master swordswoman.

"See? I told you." Weiss said before seeing Winter's stunned expression, her hands shaking as she realized that she was more like her father than anticipated. "Now, is your head clear enough for a proper discussion or are you going to take out your pistol and shoot me?"

"I...I...I..." Winter stuttered out as Weiss placed her right hand over Winter's left shoulder and sighed.

"I think you need some time to yourself." She said while walking towards the door, only to stop and turn to Winter with a sad smile. "If you want to talk, just stop by the manor. Say hi to mother and Whitley, maybe have some tea with us as a family?"

Winter was silent and just silently watched as her sister walked away. "...what just happened?"

(Later)

'Oh gods!' Weiss 'yelled' from within her own mind, Ozpin currently walking down the street back towards the Schnee estate. 'Oh gods! You just nearly killed me!'

"Yet I didn't 'nearly kill you'. All I did was point out faults in her own world view and gave her some criticism."

'You raised a hand against Winter!'

"After she raised her sword against us." Ozpin said calmly while walking down a rather quiet street, devoid of people to overhear them. "It was either let her stab us in the eye, possibly scaring your right eye this time, or, as Ms. Goodwitch says, put her in her place. To be honest, I thought you would be happy venting out your frustrations through me, not getting upset."

'You almost killed my body!'

"Yet that didn't happen. Plus, with her rosy tinted view of the world shattered, she might change for the better, even get James to settle down a little."

'Ugh!' Weiss groaned while noticing that her body was moving towards a local cafe. 'What are you doing?'

"Getting some hot chocolate."

'Um...why?'

"To give to your mother of course. Something that might make her stop and talk to us." Ozpin said while smirking. "Besides, it's better than coffee."

'Don't diss my favorite drink!'

"I would never dream of that, although coffee is just another word for caffeine in a cup." 'she' said with humor in her tone, knowing 'she' was just having fun with the Schnee.

'Oh stow it!' Weiss 'huffed' while Ozpin walked into the cafe. 'At least coffee helps with the mornings.'

(A bit later)

-Schnee Manor, Willow's room-

Knock knock.

"Who is it?" Willow called out while currently trying to get out of bed, still clothed and having a nasty hangover.

"It's me, mother dear, Weiss."

"Weiss?" She said in surprise, before groaning in pain. "Ah...come in. The door's unlocked."

Creak.

And just like that, Weiss entered the room...wearing green contacts and emerald colored attire, as she had a clock like cane in one hand and a SchneeBucks bag in the other.

"Hi mother." She said with a smile. "I brought some hot chocolate for you."

Willow tried to sit up and rubbed her head. "Really? Well, that was sweet of you."

"Well, I wanted to spend some time with you." She said while walking over to her mother. "Need help?"

"I...no Weiss, I'm fine." she admitted, surprised at her daughter's sudden concern. "I can-"

"I insist." Weiss said while placing the bag on the nearby nightstand and helped her mother stand. "It's a daughter's duty to help their parents, even if they don't need it."

"Um...thank you?"

Weiss smiled before giving Willow a hug, making the older woman visibly shocked and unsure what to do. "Thank you for trying to be there for me, and I'm sorry for being a brat towards you."

"...Weiss, are you feeling alright?" Willow asked with a confused look on her face.

"I'm perfectly fine, mother. I'm just trying to apologize to you, that's all."

"But...where did this come from?"

"The affection? Simple, it just grew up." Weiss said while Willow raised an eyebrow. "I re-evaluated my life and...I now realize I was causing you a lot of pain."

"I...it's not you that caused my...habit. That all came from your father."

"Mother, I understand." She said while smiling. "And while I can't take back the pain I caused you, I wish to reconnect again."

"That sounds lovely, I'd like that, very much." Willow said with a faint smile. "But I must ask, why are you wearing green?"

Weiss shrugged. "Because it looks good on me. Plus it shows individuality."

"Well...if you say so." Willow sighed before looking at the bag.

"Oh and mother, I propose an immediate intervention." She said while Willow looked perplexed. "Starting now, you will not drink anything alcohol related."

"Wait, why? This is kind of sudden."

"I know, but I really want to make sure you live to see my grandchildren." 'Weiss' said while the older woman's eyes widened. "And no I don't have anyone special...yet. I mean I could be bi or I could be a lesbian. I...really don't know, but I want you to be around in my life. Meaning no more alcohol, please?"

"That's something easier said than done."

"I know, but I'm willing to help you." Weiss said while giving her mother a kiss on the cheek. "It's a daughter's job to make sure their mother is happy, isn't it?"

"I...well yes, but-"

"Then allow me to help you." Weiss said with a calm tone. "And I talked to Winter just recently, she's going to be talking to you again...well hopefully that is."

"Winter too?" Willow said in surprise.

"Yes, but it might be more...positive conversation."

The older woman raised an eyebrow before the screen faded to white.

(Some time later)

-Schnee Manor, Weiss' Room-

"So Ms. Schnee." Ozpin said while currently sitting on the bed as he finely tuned his clockwork cane with a small screwdriver. "How did you enjoy your afternoon talk with your mother?"

'...it was...interesting.'

"How so exactly?"

'It just felt...nice talking to her, well you did most of the talking.'

"True, but I did use your memories to move the conversation along, and I must say." Ozpin said with a humorous chuckle. "If I was a few hundred years younger and she wasn't married to a lemming, I might have courted her-"

'GROSS! Don't say that!' Weiss 'yelled' in disgust. 'Plus you HAD a wife!'

"I'm just saying. She is beautiful."

'AND MY MOM!'

"Just stating my opinion." Ozpin said calmly. "But moving away from possible incest, tommorow we are going to meet with James."

'About what?'

"Oh just wanting to see him, get him to calm down a little and possibly end the embargo before he causes Atlas to become a scapegoat for Salem's plans. Knowing her, she will use this opportunity of paranoia and distrust to invade the Kingdom and destroy the only other threat to her power besides the relics."

'Can you really make it happen?'

"Possibly, but with time and a little bit of your charm." Ozpin said with a wink to no one. "It might lead to a better ending."

'Are you really sure?'

"...not exactly, he is a paranoid man, even with his semblance. We just need to do this in a calm and cooperative manner, meaning not taking over to scream about how 'rude' the man is or flinching under pressure. He can smell it like a bloodhound."

'...'

"Don't worry, I will be by your side every step of the way."

'Gee, no duh.' she remarked sarcastically.

"I'm trying to be supportive, Ms. Schnee." Ozpin deadpanned.

'Didn't help.'

"Yet you enjoyed the pep talks Miss Long said to you. Including the one where she explained to you how best to deal with her sister."

'Were you looking through my memories again!?'

"It's part of the fusion process, it can't be helped. Even if I really wish you stopped 'simping' over Mr. Vasilias, he has no interest in you besides flirting and, as much as I want to cut him some slack, he really isn't the best match for you in the long run." Ozpin said while Weiss 'jaw dropped' in shock at this sudden relationship advice. "If it was me, I would've just went with Ms. Belladonna or perhaps Ms. Ro-"

'DON'T GIVE ME ADVICE ON THAT STUFF!'

"What? I thought you liked your team?"

'NOT LIKE THAT!'

"I see...so it looks like Team STRQ's influence doesn't apply here. A pity."

'GAH!'

"Oh by the way, do you want me to wear one of your dresses for the meeting or some of...my personal tastes?"

'You mean bright emerald green?'

"Well yeah, it is my favorite color."

'Just go with one of my own or else you'll stick out like a sore thumb.'

"And wear the same attire as everyone else? Ms. Schnee, you forget that the fashion sense of Atlas is composed of navy blue, white, more white and a hint of gray. That is boring."

'Well excuse me for growing up in this environment, at least I wouldn't look like someone threw up on me.'

"Emerald green is the staple of Vale, and my personal favorite color."

'Still considered puke to me.'

"Ms. Schnne, I am still your teacher."

'And you are living in my body, pick a different color or I will not help.'

"You're just making this more complicated." Ozpin deadpanned. "Especially when it's just a color palette."

'Just pick another color!'

"Mmmmm, how would you feel if I decided to mimic Ms. Belladonna's attire?"

'Wait, you mean...oh don't you even THINK about it!'

"What? You wanted a different color, so why not Ms. Belladonna's rebellious attire?"

'Because then it'll look like I'm turning into a goth!'

"...so? You wanted to be 'freed from your father's influence', so why not attempt it?"

'...'

"Is that a yes or a no?"

'NO!'

"Not even with cat ears?"

'N-Not even with cat ears!'

"Are you sure?"

'YES!'

"Ok." Ozpin said with a smirk. "Then the cat tail then."

'WHY ARE YOU THIS ANNOYING RIGHT NOW!?'

"I'm just playing with you, I really don't do this to my hosts often." he chuckled with amusement. "Although I am serious about the cat ears."

'Don't you dare! Just let me control my own body for this!'

"Mmmmm. I don't know, the cat ears might wor-"

'NO CAT EARS!'

"Fine, then the cat-"

'NO CAT TAIL EITHER!'

Ozpin sighed. "And here I thought the idea of a Schnee faunus would be a wonderful prank. Oh well."

'Just dress normal!'

"Fine. But it will be a little different."

'Just don't make it stand out.'

(Next day)

-Atlas Academy, Ironwood's Office-

Knock knock.

"Who is it?"

"It's me, Ozpin."

This caused the man, currently doing paperwork, to stand up in shock at what he just heard, before he narrowed his eyes and made his way over, hand on his gun.

Click.

Only to see Weiss Schnee, her eyes currently green and her attire...consisting of black and green instead of her usual white and navy blue colors, as in her left hand was...Ozpin's cane.

"Ah, still paranoid as always James?" 'She' said while walking inside. "Relax, I'm not going to suddenly attack you or anything."

"O...Ozpin?" Ironwood said in surprise, never expecting...this to happen before in his entire life.

"Yes, like the attire?" he asked while pointing to 'her' clothes. "Wanted to spice things up, but Ms. Schnee didn't want it too 'glaring'. But she is fine with this attire."

'No I'm not!'

"She says she likes it."

'I said NO!'

"I didn't think you'd be reincarnated in Miss Schnee's body, or expect it."

"Same, but it happened and to be frank." Ozpin said while looking at the General. "She needs it. Especially with the current state of Atlas, which is why I came here today, James."

"Well take a seat and tell me." Ironwood said while walking back to his table.

"Just be warned." Ozpin said while also taking a seat. "I'm going to reveal some...personal secrets to you, on behalf of my host's 'nagging'."

'It's called telling the truth!'

"What kind of secrets?"

"About me and...Salem." Ozpin said as the room became dreadfully quiet.

"What?"

"You heard me, James. I am coming clean."

"...what?"

Ozpin sighed before starting his long explanation of his life.

(One long explanation later)

"And that is how I started the Kingdom of Vale, and to this day I'm still shocked that most of the problems of Remnant were my doing, even though Salem was trying to magically start breeding humanity out. But that might have been the paranoia kicking in and I was reading too much into her desire for children." Ozpin said while Ironwood's eyes twitched with fury and horror. "So yeah, Salem is my...immortal wife. Heh heh...um James? Are you alright?"

'Headmaster, he's about ready to blow!' Weiss 'yelled' from within her own mind.

"Ozpin...you...son...of...a...bitch!" he yelled, jumping over the table and tackling Ozpin who narrowly held his gun away with his cane, but barely. "You knew! You knew this whole time! And you thought it was a better idea to lie to all our faces?!"

"It was better than letting you fall into despair!" Ozpin frowned. "I had to keep the secret because the last time I let anyone learn the truth, they all died."

"That doesn't give you the right to withhold ANYTHING involving Salem!"

"It doesn't, but at this point, I'm realizing that telling you the truth might have saved us all the trouble in the world."

Zoom.

That was when Weiss regained partial control over her mouth, her right eye returning to a pale blue color.

"I agree with the headmaster, but I also agree with you General Ironwood, he could've told us about Cinder Fall." She said while James blinked in confusion.

"Ms. Schnee, don-"

"He knew about Amber's killer but thought that we, Team RWBY, could stop her." Weiss interrupted. "But that didn't work, at all. And I'm STILL trying to forgive him for NEARLY killing us all!"

He lightened up on his weight, but didn't move off as he continued to glare at the immortal. "Let me talk to Ozpin."

"...yes General." Weiss said while giving up control for the moment. 'Ozpin, I really hope you can talk our way out of this. I mean I REALLY don't want to get my...brains blown out.'

'Relax, I'll keep us both safe.'

'Well it is MY body. I'd rather not die young.' Weiss deadpanned.

'Trust me.' "Right, before you say anything James. I have one thing to say."

"What?"

"You are more paranoid than me." he said while Weiss 'facepalmed' in her mind.

'OZPIN!'

'What?'

'Stop provoking the General!'

'I'm just being honest.'

"Me? Paranoid? I'm fine."

"So tell me this, why the embargo? Why take all the Dust of Remnant and hoard it into a tiny city like this?" he asked while the Atlasian headmaster frowned. "It not only causes the other Kingdoms to question your sanity but it will cause Salem herself to take notice and, knowing her, plan an invasion. Plus you do hold my Relic of Creation."

"Well-"

"Also, I know you have the Winter Maiden." Ozpin said while Ironwood's eyes widened in shock. "Well now I do, but after realizing that Fria hasn't been seen in a few decades and that her last location was around here, by careful deduction, it would be the most logical strategy to allow her to stay in Atlasian custody for her 'own' safety. Is that right?"

"..."

"I rest my case." Ozpin sighed while pushing the man off him with his cane. "You and I are kinda the same in that regard, paranoid about letting information out into the world, even with our allies. But what I don't get is why 'turn' against me? I might not be the best of leaders, hell I constantly blunder my way through paperwork half the time, but you, my second most trusted ally, turning Atlas into a centralized state and locking yourself in a tower of steel? James, this isn't the right way to deal with Salem at all."

"Then what would you suggest? You end up dead, reincarnate in the Schnee heir, and now reveal to me something that we should have been told from the start. So pardon me if I'm just doing what I can to keep my home safe from that witch."

"By letting Salem win?" Ozpin said with a raised eyebrow. "You must realize that during the invasion of Vale, your Atlasian Knights were hijacked along with the CCTS, meaning whoever helped the Fall Maiden, Cinder Fall, in getting that little 'battle' started is in Salem's 'employment' aka they are working for her. And if that is the case, then it has to be an Atlasian who has a grudge against your prized 'student' Penny Polendina and is willing to use your reliance on technology to cripple the trust of the other Kingdoms."

"I-"

"And another thing." Ozpin said while walking towards the window. "If Salem is indeed trying to sever humanity's bond with each other, what better way then painting Atlas as 'a paranoid Kingdom of anti faunus sympathizers'? It's only natural to plant the seeds of paranoia into every citizen, both Atlasian and Mantelian, that would sprout with distrust and fear. Meaning if you had a big plan to defeat Salem or escape, which I find more likely, then no one will come and save you once the war really starts."

"...gods above, she...she has everything figured out..." Ironwood muttered in horror. "She...outbested me."

Ozpin sighed. "Which is why I came here, to stop you from doing anything stupid. That and try to keep Atlas from falling farther into corruption and stupidity. I mean replacing all your Huntsmen with robots, making said Huntsmen cold and emotionless as you? It would never work and cause disloyal after a while. Believe me, I tried that and look what happened, one of my past lives caused an entire kingdom to fall. But unlike that event, you have time to fix your mistakes, James."

"But how? If she's thought about all of that, what's to stop her from thinking of a plan that involves you?"

"Simple, she would never expect in a million years for me to reincarnate in a Schnee." Ozpin smirked while turning around. "A cosmic joke perhaps but if I was Salem, I would be looking for someone in Anima, the home of the Relic of Knowledge and the Spring Maiden, not a Schnee that is within the enemy stronghold."

"What are you-"

"It's quite simple, Salem's gaze is focused on Anima at the moment, meaning she won't be gazing upon Atlas' 'reconstruction' plans." He winked. "If we play our cards right and use this time to restart relationships with the other Kingdoms and restructure the Huntsmen of Atlas into a more unpredictable force, then when the war starts, we can be better prepared for not only a counterattack but gaining the needed allies necessary to push back the Grimm before they even arrive."

"But what if she has contingency plans for all of those?"

"Then we have to change tactics, it's like chess really. But this time, we have time on our side." He smirked before looking at one of the reports. "And first things first, we need Robyn Hill and her Happy Huntresses on our side."

"WHAT?!"

"They are necessary for unification. Just help her and Mantle as a start and she will become your closest ally." He smirked while pointing to his current body. "Oh and before I forget, I'm also here to get Ms. Schnee's dream materialized. And that means getting Jacques ousted from the company and arrested for domestic abuse."

"That's easier said than done given how Willow Schnee hasn't filed any reports, that and his connections might get in the way."

"True." Ozpin shrugged. "But Ms. Schnee will help with the details."

'As long as you don't do anything stupid.'

'Relax, I would never do such a thing. All I was going to do was sneak into your father's office and steal his papers.'

'...'

'Ms. Schnee?'

'Just try not to get caught.'

(Some weeks later)

-Weiss' Room-

'So wait? You want me to attend my father's gala…..and roast him?'

"Well yes." Ozpin said while busy looking at some dresses. "It's a means of making him look stupid to the elites."

'Easier said than done.' Weiss 'said' with a sigh. 'Father is the spitting image of perfection during a gala.'

"Yet I've been around longer than him. I know how to roast a man to his core, with or without magic." Ozpin said before pulling out a white dress and a black dress. "Mmmm, which one, which one? Any suggestions?"

'White of course.'

"Ms. Schnee, you always wear white." Ozpin deadpanned. "It's unhealthy to wear only one colored attire."

'Says the one wearing just green.'

"I don't always wear green." He huffed. "I only wear green for special events."

'So everyday is special?'

"Well...it's more like I'm obliged to wear green-"

'You have the same problem as me.'

Ozpin groaned while putting the dresses away. "Look, I like green. I can't help that, but maybe instead of talking about my fashion sense, you should be trying to help yourself in picking an attire that isn't white."

'And why should I?'

"Ms. Schnee. Wearing the same colored dress isn't going to help bring you out of your father's shadow, it's more likely it's going to keep you in that shadow." He said while shaking his head. "If you choose another color, it's a sign you're rebelling against your father's influence. A sign that you're maturing into someone else, one that can choose their own destiny, not the destiny preordained by anyone else."

'...fine.' Weiss 'grumbled'. 'But only because I want to shove it in father's ass-'

"Language young lady."

'I'll say what I want in my body!'

"And I'm your teacher."

'Former!'

"When I'm in this body I still am."

'Just give me control!'

"You agreed to let me have this body for a year unless it's a matter of privacy. And talking about cursing is not a matter of privacy."

'Gah! You're acting like a dad!'

"Mmmm, Mister Ozpin Schnee. Has a nice ring to it, right my dear daughter?" he said with an amused chuckle.

'I wonder if I can knock myself out…'

"I don't think that is possible." Ozpin said calmly before pulling out another dress. "By the way, do you want something revealing to spite your father or no?"

'Ugh, fine, do whatever you want.' Weiss 'frowned'. 'Just don't make me look like a fool!'

"I would never dream of it."

(Some weeks later)

-Schnee Manor, Ballroom-

Music, drinks and idle chat.

This was what the gala was all about and talks seemed to be positive for the elites, for the general seems to be backing away from the embargo and re-establishing trade routes with the other Kingdoms and with trade comes profits for their own livelihoods.

In short, the perfect time to relax and indulge themselves. Yet for one Jacques Schnee, he wasn't having a good time, for he was having issues.

For one, he seemed to be losing control of his own family, as Whitley hadn't been around him as frequently and Willow seemed...less subservient then normal.

And for his middle daughter, she seemed to be having a 'phase'. The kind that would be a disaster if it got out to the public.

This is especially true when she outright tries to dye her hair green! Who does that!? It would ruin her image as a singer!

'I need to curb her attitude before she causes a stir.' he thought while drinking his glass of champagne. 'This is probably after letting her go off and try to be a Huntress. Well once this is over I'll make it clear she will stop this, or else.'

That was when he noticed that the guests were...staring up towards the stairway.

'What are they doing?' he thought before turning around...only to see something that made him drop his glass on the ground in shock.

That being a short pale skinned young woman with long white hair that went down to her hips and had a black emerald studded headband on her head, bright green eyes with black mascara under them, pale green lipstick, a B cup chest and small ass, long green nails, long emerald green earrings held together with silver gear shaped chains, wearing a black off the shoulder dress that went down to her knees lined with emerald stitching near the sides, a gear shaped opening over the chest, a silver necklace with a rectangular emerald in the center, two interlocking gear shaped trails going down her back and towards the ground, thin emerald stockings and black high heeled shoes with an emerald green heel, walking down the stairs while holding a silver hilted cane in her left hand.

And...it was his own DAUGHTER!?

'What...the...HELL!?' He thought in shock as Weiss walked down the stairs and smirked at the stunned crowd. 'Why is she wearing green!? Why the contact lenses...and WHY IS SHE WEARING THAT DRESS!?'

"Evening." Weiss said calmly before walking towards the CEO, occasionally bowing to some of the Atlasian elites or just giving a tip to the faunus catiers. "Enjoying the gala? You look lovely Miss Marigold. Here's a little something for your trouble."

As the woman moved towards the older man, Winter and Whitley Schnee, currently conversing with their mother for the first time in ages, were also stunned by this development as well.

"Hello father, pleasant evening we are having." She said while bowing a little, in a very mocking way in Jacques' eyes.

"Weiss? What in all of Remnant are you wearing?" he hissed in a whisper with a sharp glare.

"A dress, what of it?" she said with a smirk. "You wanted me to go naked?"

"No! That is not what I mean!"

"Oh that." she chuckled. "I just thought I'd wear something festive and also tie in with the gala's theme of giving relief to Vale."

The man frowned at this but didn't find any faults in her logic, it was a charity event for the Fall of Vale.

"I must say father." she said while swinging her cane in the air. "I feel very dapper really. For all I know, this is the best dress I have ever worn in my entire life. Plus it makes me feel mature, don't you think?"

'It makes you look like a freakshow in drag!' he thought, his mind fuming with anger at her 'independence'.

"You know, I had an idea that would really interest everybody and make this something they'd never forget." Weiss said while the CEO looked completely lost. "And I will reveal all in a bit. Right after I socialize with the menagerie of Atlas' finest. Later, father dear."

And like that, Weiss walked away, swinging her cane in the process as she either winked at some nearby guests or showed respect to some of the more notable families, making the SDC CEO rather...miffed.

'That girl has gone too far. As soon as this gala is done, I'm going to make her wish she had listened to me when she was a toddler!'

(A bit later)

The party was in full swing as the music began to dim a little, allowing Weiss Schnee to walk on stage and take the mic from its stand, silencing everyone in the process.

"Is this thing on? Testing." she said while poking the mic a little. "Ahem, good evening everyone. I hope the gala was of utmost splendor to you all. It was a no expense affair, given that the SDC provides for most of your needs, both Dust and product based. But getting to the point, I have a few annoincments to make involving a few...Atlasian plans, give or take a few Kingdoms."

The crowd muttered to themselves as Weiss smiled a little.

"On the first part of these lists of announcements, starting tomorrow the SDC will be freed of the embargo that General Ironwood had imposed upon the family since Vale's collapse." she said while seeing her father sigh in relief. "But as part of a non disclosed deal with the Atlasian Military, all future funds made for the Dust trade will be poured into the reconstruction and re-establishment of the City of Vale and its surrounding towns as a show of good faith we, as Atlasian citizens, have sorely missed during the Vytal Festival."

That got them muttering with a few nodding their heads as Jacques himself looked surprised.

"The second part of the announcements is simple really. Starting next month, the number of Atlasian Knights and their robotic kin will be decreased significantly and the occupation of Huntsmen, both officially sanctioned and students of the famed Atlas Academy, within the military organization will be increased by ten percent. Machines can be our friends but after the Fall of Vale, I don't think we should allow robotic lifeforms into our businesses yet." She said while the crowd nodded in agreement. "As a side bar, all Atlasian Huntsmen, both students and sanctioned members, will be allowed to form teams and wear their own clothing choices because, to be completely frank my fellow Atlasians, we are really tired of wearing white all the time."

"So true!" called out one of the elites in agreement.

"At least we can all agree to that." Weiss said with a chuckle. "The third announcement of the night is simple. Beginning next week, the fruits of our labors will be used for the betterment of Mantle, our sister city. All lien made by the SDC and its branch businesses will be poured into remaking Mantle's infrastructure, living conditions and businesses made apparent over the years. Because while we can claim to be the shining star of Remnant, Mantle was the one that jump started our rise to power. It would be better to have some form of trust between the cities. And to better help our two cities blossom into something greater together, Councilmember Sleet will be resigning within the week."

'Ah finally-' Jacques thought before hearing something shocking.

"And Robyn Hill, leader of the Happy Huntresses will be taking on the duties of a member of the Atlasian Council. With her cooperation between Atlas and Mantle, I hope that our united needs will bring a brilliant rise in both trust." she said before smirking at the elites, seemily wanting to make them happy. "And the fattening of our pockets from the ensuing job boom."

The elites muttered to themselves while feeling like this was both a good proposition and...an affront to their livelihoods.

"For the fourth announcement. Starting in the coming months, several new bills involving the equal rights of faunus and underprivileged citizens of both cities will be taken into effect. It is time to stop the dehumanization of our sister species and become united under a civilized banner of peace. And on that note." She looked at the Marigold family and smirked. "The bills will also intail the unapeeded hate of the bi, gay and lesbian side of Atlas. It's time to change people, we aren't savages."

That got them into an uproar as Weiss smirked.

"And for the last two pieces of information. Ahem, in light of our stance in the Faunus Revolution of years past, Atlasian Huntsmen including our great general, will be meeting with one Sienna Khan in talks of peace. All grudges will be passed aside for the future of Remnant, and all White Fang members that joined the slaughter of Vale will be tried under a unified court. We will not allow the crimes of a few faunus and a few humans that joined them to muddle our desire for peace." She said before twirling her cane in the air and pointed it at her father. "And effectively immediately, one Gele member will be arrested and tried for domestic abuse, corruption, bribing, the unsanctioned experiments on living Grimm and its human test subjects, the brutal anti faunus tactics of the SDC and the manipulation of the SDC for personal power. Guards, arrest him."

"WHAT?!" Jacques cried out, all of them going quiet while two guards moved over and grabbed his arms. "Get your hands off me! Do you know who I am!?"

"Please don't resist, Mr. Gele."

"It's Schnee!"

"Not anymore." Weiss said while chuckling a little. "Mother dear divorced you several weeks ago, but the papers weren't finalized until tonight so...you're not a Schnee, but a Gele right now. Heh heh."

"This is an outrage Weiss! I'm Jacques Schnee! I own the SDC! I have complete control!" he yelled before getting dragged away. "Let me go! I'll have your heads for this! Winter! Whitley!"

Weiss chuckled before walking towards the guards. "Hold on a minute, I have a few parting words to tell Mr. Geles."

The guards raised an eyebrow before stopping in their tracks.

The girl stared at the enraged man before leaning against the cane. "Oh how the mighty have fallen. But this was all you're doing."

"What are you-"

"You caused all of this. The corruption, the abuse. All of it is on your hands." she said while frowning. "You turned my mother, your former wife and the daughter of your boss, into an alcoholic all because you wanted to, pardon the expression, sleep with the family's cash cow. You broke this family with your own greed, your need to be on top. And let's see what DID you do for the company?"

The man narrowed his eyes as Weiss spun around.

"You made the name Schnee a target for terrorists, you made my grandfather's legacy of kindness and understanding into a legacy of pain and suffering for every SDC employee, you nearly destroyed Atlas itself and for what?" she said while extending her arms out. "A few extra lien? That, Mr. Geles, is the most materialistic, asinine thing the world has ever seen. Even the Grimm aren't that bad compared to you, they follow instinct, you follow greed and spite. And even now, you think you're on top, pathetic."

"Why you-"

POW!

And cue him getting wracked in the face by Weiss' cane, causing a deep gash across his left eye for form as Weiss' eyes changed from green to blue and back again.

"I can do the same thing you did to me. Hit me when I did 'something wrong', hurt you like you hurt your own kin, use you like a slave like you did to every single faunus under your thumb. You know the White Fang of Vale? Adam Taurus was a member of the mines, until he got branded in the eye." she growled while the man's eyes, for the first time in a while, were filled with fear. "You think you contributed to peace? HA! You were the CAUSE of Vale's fall, you caused the near desication of the Schnee name, and you would've continued to do so until this very city buckles under hate and rebellion against your idiotic actions. You think that I'm wrong, no, it's the other way around. You, Mr. Geles, are the child and I'm the adult here and if you learned anything from this day, it's to get off your high horse and act like a human, not a miserable tapeworm."

"I...I...you can't-"

"I can and just did. Take him away." Weiss frowned as the guards dragged the man out of the manor, the guests stunned at her ruthlessness. "Ahem, sorry about that folks. Please enjoy the gala. Music."

And like that, the music returned as Weiss walked away and back up the stairs, leaving everyone stunned and aggasted at this sudden development.

(Later)

-Weiss' Room-

"Oh. My. Gods!" Weiss groaned, her eyes their normal color, as she plopped onto the bed face first. "That was so nerve wracking!"

'True, but you did a good job tonight.' Ozpin said in the back of Weiss' mind. 'Although using Long Memory as a blunt object was kinda pushing it a little.'

"I had a good reason. Using my hands would have been pointless if I already had a weapon." Weiss groaned. "Still...he's finally out of my life."

'Well until he's released in twenty to fifty years. But given his age...it might not be that long.'

"Anything is better than seeing him every day." She sighed while putting a pillow over her head. "I need a nap."

'You do that...wait. Did you mention the last announcement?'

"Yes, the one involving that idiot's arrest."

'No not that one, the one where you announce the next CEO of the Schnee Dust Company.'

"...shit! I forgot!"

'I see, and did you pick someone?'

"..."

'You forgot, didn't you.'

"There was a lot of stuff being said!" She groaned while standing up. "And it took me several weeks to actually memorize all of them with a straight face."

'Well, that makes sense. But you will have to figure this out eventually.'

"I know." Weiss sighed while her Scroll pinged and she opened it up, revealing a picture of Ruby waving at the screen with a confused Jaune, a grinning Nora and a shirtless Ren. "Mmm, looks like Ruby is lost in Anima...again."

'It surprises me how lost those four can get, I mean Qrow is with them.'

Weiss shook her head. "Hopefully Yang and Blake are ok."

'Mmmm.' Ozpin hummed while contemplating something. 'Ms. Schnee, why not invite them to Atlas? Show them the work both of us made to fix Atlas' internal politics?'

"Because they might not be able to make it."

'Well you do have control over the SDC trade routes at the moment, and all of their airships." Ozpin said while the girl's eyes widened. 'It wouldn't be too hard to just 'taxi' them over to Atlas.'

"...fair point." She muttered before turning on her Scroll's 'Call' function.

Ring...ring...ring...

Click.

"Hello?" Blake said while sounding tired.

"Hey, it's me Weiss. Um...I need you to call Yang and Ruby."

"Why?"

"Because I have some...things to talk to you guys about in Atlas. And just to let you know, my father was just arrested and Atlas is going to have some talks with the White Fang, peaceful talks."

"..."

"Still there?"

"I'll get them." Blake said while breathing heavily, seemingly very annoyed and tired. "Just try not to call me at two in the morning, again."

"My bad, see you later." Weiss said before Ozpin got an idea and possessed her briefly. "Love you Blake, kisses~ Chu~"

"...eh!?"

Click.

"Heh, never gets old." Ozpin muttered before switching back control. 'Especially with-'

"What was that?!"

'Oh that, I was just fanning the flames of passion.' Ozpin said calmly as Weiss' face turned bright red. 'I mean a relationship with Ms. Belladonna might be interesting and, you know me, I'm a fan of ships.'

"That d-don't mean you can do that!"

'Well it was either her or Mr. Arc.' Ozpin said while Weiss narrowed her eyes. 'But to be fair, it would be adorable to see you two in a relationship, given your personal quirks and history together.'

"Don't play matchmaker with your own students!"

'Mmmmm.'

"Ozpin!"

'Mmmmmmmmm.'

"Ozpin!" Weiss yelled while the screen started to fade to green. "OZPIN!"

'Mmmmmm...better plan out the wedding between them.'

"OZPIN!"
