Chapter 7

Ino

UA High Wednesday

12PM

Izuku arranged the stack of books on his desk before placing them in his bag. The atmosphere in class 1A was filled with indistinct chatter. A lot had happened the day before. The senpai who seemed to have taken a liking to class 1A, or perhaps a particular set of students in class 1A, made an appearance once again.

Uzumaki Naruto proved to be quite the character through and through. The most of the class were still undecided on whether or not the blonde's affinity for them was a good or bad thing. It was clear their favorite senpai was a troublemaker. He was a regular customer of the school's disciplinary board and had served the most time in detention in the school's history. However, he still maintained a a firm reputation as one of the most promising students of the UA.

Izuku personally knew that Naruto was much more than that. In fact, it was likely that a majority of the teachers in UA would not be a match for the whiskered teen. Naruto's status to those who knew of his secret identity had gone past 'promising student'. If the blonde was still considered a talent then the rest of the school ought to call themselves trash and dropout. The disparity was too much.

Uzumaki Naruto had been a name on the minds not just the entirety of class 1A but the whole UA and after the news from yesterday's evening, the whole of Japan. To the students of UA, at first, Uzumaki Naruto was merely a troublemaker who had pulled off a prank that forced the school to suspend all activities until he was retrieved. To the more rebellious students Uzumaki Naruto was like an urban legend. Crippling the UA in one prank was no easy feat. The blonde had also succeeded in shifting blame to another student and gave himself the opportunity to make a clean escape. An enviable feat to those who prized tricky and cunning over all other aspects of being a hero.

With time the 'glowing' figure of Uzumaki Naruto had become even more awe-inspiring. According to the blonde, it was mere coincidence, but to some of his newest ultra fans it was depicted as a part of Naruto's grand plan. After framing the student dubbed as Yaoyorozu Momo, Uzumaki Naruto had a fortunate run-in with the girl on his way back home during a gruesome shooting. The incident had become the talk of the country and a reason for the denizens of Tokyo to collectively mourn. Five over people had lost their lives to the shooters, 37 due to the stampede and about a dozen in a clash between a gang and the police that sprung up there after. All in all over fifty people in total had lost their lives that day. It was a dark day in the history of Tokyo and the whole country at large.

Luckily, every dark situation had a silver lining and Uzumaki Naruto was the silver lining in this case. According to the blonde's statement and the reports from the police, Naruto ran into the shooters responsible for the tragic incident and engaged them in fierce combat. To the rest of the public, even the students from the most prestigious school in all of Japan shouldn't be able to put up much of a fight against professional villains of that caliber. However, Uzumaki Naruto rose beyond all expectations. Not only did he taken on both of the villains, his actions led to the demise of one and he outright killed the other.

The video of Uzumaki Naruto's statement was now the most popular in the country. The streams on YouTube had already surpassed twenty million in a single night. The sight of a distraught looking Naruto clutching the passed out Yaoyorozu Momo tightly as he 'relayed' the events leading to the demise of the villains touched the heart of the citizens of Japan. He was already being labeled as brave, fearless and a natural born hero. Nobody cared that his brave actions had resulted in the death of two men. Hardly anybody would grieve the deaths of men that played a decisive role in the deaths of over fifty innocent people. Also, according to Naruto's statement, their deaths were a complete accident. The first one lost his life to his own accomplice after a struggle with Naruto. As for the second, he died directly to Naruto, who in a desperate attempt to save his schoolmate couldn't properly regulate his quirk.

After further investigation, Naruto was declared innocent of any possible charges. The blonde possessed a provisional license, thus he was within his rights to take action when he saw people in danger. He had not really infringed any of the JHA's rules, it wasn't as though he was the first rookie to mistakenly kill a perp. Considering that the villains were responsible for a grand total of fifty over deaths, this offense was dismissable. The only real action that could be taken against Naruto was the suspension of his provisional license, and even that had put the citizens of Japan in an uproar.

To them Naruto was a hero. If he hadn't shown up when he did that innocent little girl and possibly others would have lost their lives. To the public the blonde did not deserve any punishment whatsoever, rather he deserved accolades. There were multitudes of people advocating for the early graduation of Uzumaki Naruto as well as an apprenticeship contract under one of the top ten pro heroes. They felt Naruto's potential was being wasted in the UA. The boy was obviously well beyond his peers, and instead of grooming him in kind UA were holding him back.

Many people online had already begun petitions to pair Naruto with the hero Endeavour as his mentor. 'A person who understands the cold reality of this world is best to groom this rising star', this was a popular quote now on the different social media platforms. Where it originally came from was anybody's guess, but the words had seen a great deal of traction over the ours. Hash tags of #FreeNaruto, #EndeavourToPromoteNaruto and #ProHeroForNaru appeared in the millions across the country.

There were a minimum of people against Naruto's rise, hardliners you would say. These people stood against Naruto's actions due to the results it had brought. To them it didn't matter how you put it, Naruto Uzumaki killed two persons and didn't look particularly remorseful of his actions when he spoke about it on camera. They felt Naruto had the mindset of a villain, and was very much like the hero that a majority of Japan wanted to see Naruto work with.

They condemned all attempts to pair the two together and dubbed them a toxic combination. They stood firmly by the JHA's decision to temporarily revoke the blonde's license. In their opinions, the Uzumaki shouldn't receive his license or return to the UA until his psychological state was confirmed to be without issues. They backed up their arguments with the newly publicly made information that Naruto was an orphan.

According to them the blonde teen didn't have the proper guidance of a parent, and thus was a 'misled youth' and wasn't taught about the importance of responsibility. He was a loose cannon that could easily turn and fire at the populace of Japan if proper care was not taken.

To the pro Naruto side of the country, the news that he was an orphan made him even the more lovable. They sympathized with the blonde and felt it was admirable that he had come from so little and rose to the top. They laughed off the arguments that Naruto did not understand responsibility. What was more responsible than rushing into danger to save an innocent person?.

They reminded those who were against Naruto that the blonde was also in a great deal of danger in that situation and could just as easily lost his life. Him being an orphan humanized him further and quickly turned him into the teenage sweetheart of the country.

Kids his age were obsessed with him. His social media accounts were flooded by his admirers and Uzumaki Naruto became even more popular with every repost. It turned out he wasn't the edgy and cool headed teen the people of Japan assumed he was, far from it. Uzumaki Naruto was actually very goofy. He had multitude of funny tiktok videos that he sung, danced or did something hilarious in. His instagram was stacked with memes, anime and manga related posts and he appeared to have an obsession for pro heroines like a normal teenager.

Naruto wasn't the emotionless killer his 'haters' tried to portray him as. He was actually a regular kid. He was filled with imperfections, but being emotionally impaired was not one of them. The confirmed imperfections of the teenage sweetheart of Japan made him even more acceptable to the public.

The male populace loved his manly nature, his open pervertednesss, they found his workout videos inspiring, the geeks were psyched that a person as cool as him was an otaku and all round they loved his straightforwardness.

The female portion found him extremely cute, for the older women, and attractive for those in his age group. There was already a pool of girls who had come together as the Naruto girls fan group, and his popularity was fast eclipsing that of other male Japanese idols. The blonde was already being used as a benchmark to judge the attractiveness of guys. They were obsessed with his tiktok videos, particularly the one's he was shirtless in. Though it was a heartbreaking to find out their idol was perverted, it wasn't enough to quell their interests in the blonde.

To the teenage girls of Japan, Uzumaki Naruto had become a synonym for hot.

Overnight, Naruto had turned into a modern day male version of Marilyn Monroe. It was estimated that the blonde could become a millionaire just off the endorsement deals he would get. The only downside was that the UA had the right to impede any such advances, he was barely an adult but he was still a student and not an idol.

As for Izuku Midoriya, he was unsure how to react to this new development. From what he could tell, while Naruto wasn't an outright psycho killer, he didn't have the bearings of a guy who would be so bothered by his presumed first kill. Izuku was not sure what exactly the blonde senior student was, in fact he knew next to nothing about him. All he could by were hunches, and he had one that Naruto normally wouldn't be affected by the deaths of people who were trying to hurt a friend.

The blonde was pretending. Izuku was positive he was. As to why the blonde would pretend he had his suspicions but decided not to draw any conclusions yet. Izuku preferred to be sure about something before making a decision in his mind what to believe, and he wasn't at all sure about this. All he could do for now was speculate, at least until he met Naruto again.

"Naruto-senpai has really gotten really popular overnight. I'm a little jealous." A person spoke up from Izuku's side. It was Uraraka.

Izuku regarded the girl with a light smile.

Come to think about it the girl had been acting weird around him for the past two days now. Izuku didn't have the opportunity to delve into it, seeing how crazy the past few days had been, and even now that he was opportune to, he was at a loss how to go about it. Should he just directly ask he what was up?. Izuku crushed the thought a beat after he had it. They'd only recently become friends, if they could even be considered friends. They hadn't gotten up to the point where he could ask questions like that. She wasn't entitled to give him an answer anyway. If the girl was feeling less interested in being his friend after the weekend then there was little he could do. He couldn't make her like him.

So instead of bringing up the uncomfortable topic of their communication problem, Izuku opted to stay in the grey area. "I'm really jealous too. It's like the whole country has fallen in love with him." Izuku scratched his cheek as he spoke. Truth be told he was truly jealous. He had seen hundreds of posts about Naruto on instagram and facebook just this morning. No matter how humble a person was, Naruto's sudden burst into fame was enviable.

Uraraka laughed at Izuku's expression. He tried to hide it but he genuinely looked jealous. It was only natural. Naruto wasn't that much older than them but he appeared to have already gone so far ahead. Becoming a top hero seemed like a cinch now. His popularity was already rivalling the top ten pro heroes, and his strength was formidable as well. As things stood if Naruto wanted it he could easily go pro even without the permission of the UA. There were rumours that Endeavor was willing to take the blonde under his wing if he dropped out of the UA. These rumours were of course unconfirmed.

"It must be an even more surreal experience from Momo." Uraraka said.

Izuku perked up at the mention of the girl. Despite being in the middle of the whole incident the girl got a minimum of the people's attention. Naruto's glowing figure had pulled in all the eyes the citizens of Japan, leaving Momo in the dark. Only a handful of people cared to find out more about the girl their blonde hero saved. Aside from the fan pairings of the two and the various made up love stories, Yaoyorozu Momo stayed under the media's radar.

Thinking about it, it was fortunate. Izuku had seen the negative effect getting famous for being saved could have on an upcoming hero in his friend Bakugo. For those aspiring to be pro heroes they all had varying dreams of how they would make their names, with varying degrees of reasonableness and epicness. But it often went along the lines of saving a person or more. Nobody wanted to announce their entry into the hero world by being saved. Yaoyorozu Momo wouldn't be an exception.

"It must have not been easy..." Izuku said with a sigh.

Uraraka nodded solemnly. Ashido was walking past them at that point and commented with a bright grin. "It's great that it was the guy that she liked that ended up saving her. How romantic!." She clasped her hands together by the side of her face and squealed.

"Ah Ashido, didn't see you there." Izuku muttered. He exchanged greetings with the pink skinned girl and engaged in a bit of small talk. As he chatted with the girl he didn't notice Uraraka staring at him intensely.

"I heard both Naruto-senpai and Momo had to skip school today to recuperate." Ashido said. Her eyes light up with mischief and she leaned forward and whispered conspiratorially to Izuku and Uraraka. "Do you think they're together right now?." She wiggled her eyebrows as she asked.

Uraraka reaction was a mild smile and a shrug. Izuku's was far more extreme than they expected. The green haired boy blushed the color of a tomato and sputtered. "H-huh t-t-together?!."

Uraraka raised an eyebrow at Izuku while Ashido laughed heartily. "Midoriya who would've known you had such a dirty mind!."

Izuku gasped and looked away from the girl in embarrassment. 'Damn you Naruto-senpai...' Izuku cursed. It was largely because he had spent some time with the blonde that he assumed 'that' when Ashido said they could be together. Knowing Naruto, he would it wasn't beyond him to try to take advantage of his 'heroics' and get into their vice class president's pants. Izuku had gotten a glimpse of how far the shamelessness of Uzumaki Naruto spanned and knew it wasn't a stretch to say if Momo let her guard down he would take advantage of her gratitude and do something unspeakable.

If only Izuku knew Naruto left the girl's house regretting that he hadn't done that exactly.

"I-it's not that Ashido, it's just... err Naruto-senpai is..." The green haired boy started but trailed off.

Now he was in a dilemma. He didn't want his classmate to perceive him as a dirty minded fiend but he couldn't defend himself with Naruto's scoundrel tendencies. As far as anyone else knew he and Uzumaki Naruto barely knew each other. He couldn't speak familiarly of a person he wasn't supposed to be familiar with.

"It's alright Midoriya, I guarantee you're not alone in that regard!." A person sprung up into the conversation. It was the last person Izuku wanted to come to his defense. Minoru Mineta.

Izuku felt like crying. Why him?. Just... why?.

Mineta jumped on top the desk and gave Izuku a reassuring pat on the shoulder. The green haired boy had the urge to strike him but suppressed it. Mineta puffed his chest as he regarded the grinning Ashido. "So what if he had a dirty thought?. I bet you did too!." Mineta accused. "You girls all act like you're better than us, but today my eyes have been opened!." Mineta said passionately and pulled out his phone.

There was a picture on it; a screenshot of what appeared to be somebody's comment on a post. When Ashido saw it the smile fell from her face, her eyes went wide in shock and her face turned pale. She tried to snatch the phone from Mineta but he was quicker. He ducked under girls swoop and sprung backwards to the edge of Izuku's sit. He then pointed at the phone with a cold smirk. "Want me to keep this to myself?." Mineta asked teasingly.

Ashido's response to the question was a glare. Damn it, she should've known this guy would be stalking every girl in class on social media. The comment in the screenshot was naturally hers, and though the account was an alternate one it could still be tracked back to her. If the username 'PinkyHornzzz' wasn't a good enough giveaway, then the fact that there was a literal picture of her was. Ashido shivered at how meticulous this perverted boy was. To think he stalked them right down to their backup accounts. He was definitely the worst.

"Well I can, but it's gonna cost y–"

"Go ahead an show the whole school if you want!." Ashido interrupted Mineta's words angrily. She wasn't an idiot. Making a deal with Mineta was tantamount to making a deal with the devil. She was certain that whatever he asked for her in return would by far outweigh this 'favour' he offered to do for her. She wasn't stupid enough to sell herself to this god of depravity.

Mineta scowled. So close. He was already regretting his loudmouthedness. Perhaps he should have kept this screenshot to himself and approached Ashido when she was alone. Then he could probably work her until she agreed to his many... many... many demands. Now he'd come on too forceful and ended up angering her. His leverage was basically useless if she was too angry to care about anything else. Mineta felt the urge to strike Izuku and barely suppressed it. If he didn't come to this geek's defense then he would've possibly succeeded.

Both Izuku and Mineta were filled with an intense urge to smack each other but had to fight it down.

Mineta was fortunate enough to have another outlet. His eyes turned red in regret and despise as he channeled his unreasonable anger at Ashido. "You think I don't dare?!." Mineta spat out in hate. Why?!. Why was she so defensive against him?. Why couldn't she just let her guard down so he could blackmail her?. She ought to consider how much effort he put into stalking her on social media.

Ashido huffed stubbornly. "Go ahead. I don't give a fuck!."

The loudness of the curse drew the attention of the rest of the class.

Ashido couldn't be considered a conservative girl or stiff by any stretch of the word, but it was out of character for her to curse. At least a majority of the class were of that opinion.

This was largely because Ashido didn't seem like the type who would get mad enough to spew profanities. The girl was perhaps the most merry of them all, and made friends the easiest. She was the kind of person to go with the flow and rather than get upset at people she would just slide around their faults and/or anything offensive with humour. She was the least judgmental of the bunch and the easiest to get along with. Even shy Izuku didn't have any issues talking with Ashido. Her personality was quite similar to her quirk.

Sliding past things that were offensive, it made it difficult to actually offend her.

It was quite poetic that a person with a quirk associated with sticking would be the very first to get on Ashido's nerves.

Mineta didn't shirk back from the challenge and instead made good of his threat. Maybe before he could still back down and try to use his leverage later, but with so many people looking at him expectantly, he'd be left looking like a jackass if he didn't say anything. All the cards were on the table now. Though Mineta was regretful he wouldn't get anything out of this in the end, putting down one of these smug girls wouldn't be too bad of a consolation prize.

"You asked for it!. Everyone, I'm sending a screenshot to the group chat I added you to. Check it out and see just how filthy the minds of these high and mighty girls are!." Mineta hollered. He laughed coldly in his heart when he saw Ashido's face pale and turn reluctant. In the end she really wasn't as uncaring as she made herself out to be. But it was too late to regret now. Mineta had already forwarded the picture and soon the whole class would see it.

"What dumbass group chat?." Bakugo was the first to speak out.

"Was it the one with bare tits as the group pic?." Denki asked.

"Definitely was." Ojiro said with a sigh and a shake of his head.

"Mineta! you mustn't switch your phone on during school hours!." Ida chided.

"I left the group because you kept sending inappropriate videos." Asui said.

"I don't have a phone." Shoji confessed.

"A group chat?... I don't think you ever added me to a group chat Mineta." Izuku said and suddenly felt depressed.

"Good for you Midoriya. That group was filled with nasty stuff." Hagakure said.

"So it was you, you bastard!. Do you know how much trouble you put me in when my mom went through my phone?." Sero yelled in rage.

Mineta gritted his teeth in anger. A vein bulged out on the middle of his forehead. 'These fuckers...' Here he was trying to spoil them with some juicy information and instead of their appreciation he was getting criticism and curses. They were all unappreciative pieces of garbage in his book.

Mineta scowled when he found Ashido smirking smugly. If this went on then these idiots would get so doubtful of him that they wouldn't even bother checking out the picture. If that happened then Mineta would completely lose. He would lose his leverage and that without any hope of recompense, he would lose the opportunity to get back at Ashido and he would lose what was left of his reputation. No matter what, Mineta could not have that.

In a fit of rage Mineta mass added all his classmates to the group chat. Now even if they didn't want to know the truth they would be forced to. A string of notification alerts rung across the class. Mineta's goal was successfully accomplished. The students around Ida had to endure an earful from the glasses wearing class president about 'school ethics and rules that ought to be followed'.

Denki was the first to give in to his curiosity and took his phone out. In truth he was actually not amongst the phone owners who saw their phones go off unanimously. Denki always took his phone to school so he made a habit of keeping it on silent before leaving the house. It was quite fortunate that he did, given that he hadn't left Mineta's group in the first place. It would've been quite the forgettable experience had only his phone gone off when Mineta sent the message instead.

The blonde haired lightning quirk user raised the phone to his face with an expectant expression. An expression mirrored by a majority of the class, and for an interval all eyes were on Kaminari Denki. On cue Denki's expression changed to one of confusion. He had to do a double take on what he just read. From the looks of it the comment was quite clearly Ashido's, however the content was far too out of place for the girl. Denki couldn't believe he read that right so returned back to the beginning.

Despite his skepticism, the blonde found he had read those lines correctly the first time. His face turned to one of extreme shock. He read it again, and again it was the same as the first times.

Denki looked up at Mineta with questioning eyes, to which the purple haired boy responded to with a firm nod. Denki then turned to Ashido hoping to get a confirmation, and judging by her red faced reaction, that was exactly what he got. It was quite something to see a naturally pink girl turning even pinker at real time.

It was confirmed. The world had totally gone crazy.

Seeing Denki's animated reaction the rest of class couldn't hold back themselves back anymore and rushed to their schoolbags to get their phones. Unsurprisingly near the entirety of the class brought their phones along with them to school, however only half that number found it useful now. Half of the phone carriers had Mineta blocked on all social media platforms. Naturally all of them were girls.

The girls were now forced to hunch over the shoulders of those who could access this mystery picture. They whispered impatiently at the boys to hurry it up. By now nobody even noticed Ashido's look of plea, they were too engrossed in finding out what the girl in question had said.

Izuku and Uraraka shared a look and then a nod before snatching Mineta's phone from his hand. The short boy gave a loud 'hey' but made no move to retrieve his device. Izuku swiftly clicked on the picture and zoomed in on the comment so Uraraka could see it clearly.

There was a short period of silence as the entire class read Ashido's comment. After that the class went into an uproar.

The male portion of the class's reactions were similar to Denki's. The only different ones being Izuku and Sero who blushed to the color of chili peppers. Bakugo burst into laughter. He laughed so hard he 'accidentally' blew up the phone he snatched from Denki. The lightning quirk user wailed is distraught but could do little to save or avenge his device.

Ida blushed lightly but still gave a glance of disapproval at the soul-drained looking Ashido. He clicked his tongue and murmured something under his breath.

The female portion of the class joined Ashido in the attempt to make a human bonfire within the walls of the UA.

Hagakure got so red her face had become part visible to the onlookers, her red eyes stared at Ashido in disbelief. Even now she couldn't believe what she just read.

Asui had the most restrained reaction out of the girls; a casual glance at Ashido before looking away, though she lightly blushed in the end. No matter how reserved or levelheaded one was they couldn't read words like that and not have something of a reaction.

After reading the comment Jiro had an explosive blushing reaction and passed out, woke up again and then passed out once more. Hagakure quickly ran to check up on Jiro and managed to wake the girl up.

As for Uraraka, she slapped the phone out of Izuku's hand and covered her reddened faced with her hands.

Ashido's secret was officially out.

"Damn Ashido... reel it in a little will ya..." Ojiro was the first to speak out. Naturally more followed suit after he did.

"That was a little too graphic for me sheesh..." Tokoyami said honestly. He wiped his beak clean of sweat. He didn't know he could sweat there until today.

"Girls are scary..." Sato breathed out heavily. He could understand where the girl was coming from but that was way too extreme. To think a girl could say a thing like that.

"We shouldn't judge Ashido-san!." Ida was the first to come to the pink girl's defense. It wasn't as though he was in support of what she had done, it was just that it was not in his place to judge her off-school activities. It wasn't in any of their places to, thus it was his responsibility to make sure this did not escalate.

"And she's been a firm supporter of Momo's relationship with Naruto-senpai too. Like for Pete's sake Ashido..." Denki said with a shake of the head. Secretly he felt really jealous in his heart but nobody needed to know that. Somewhere in his heart he was sure he looked down on this act. He had to. It was a little too sleazy, even for a guy like him.

Bakugo's roar of laughter got even louder at Denki's statement. Bakugo truly found this incredibly hilarious. It was just perfect, this kind of situation was one of a kind. He wasn't like the rest of his classmates, though he had the most standout reaction he offered the least judgement for Ashido in his heart. If the girl wanted to say stuff like that then it was her business in his opinion. If she had said those words on a different occasions then he wouldn't have given a damn about it. However, this was different.

Like Denki had pointed out, Momo was involved and that made it a whole lot different. Tears gathered at the corner of Bakugo's eyes, he was damn near losing his breath from laughing. He still went on regardless. This whole situation was like a soap opera. The kind he wouldn't explode on site, the kind that would actually be a little interesting to him. It didn't matter that he didn't see wrong in Ashido's actions or care for the implications, not one bit. All that Bakugo cared about was the entertainment he would get out of this 'soap opera' once it started.

So despite his true feelings, Bakugo was the first to mock Ashido. "Thirsty ass bitch, guess all that liquid on you ain't enough for ya." Bakugo said with a bark of laughter. This was too good. Why oh why wasn't that Yaoyorozu bitch in school today?, Bakugo wondered. Now he had to wait until they met. The suspense could kill him or any unlucky person around him during the wait if he wasn't careful.

Mineta watched the class descend into chaos with a satisfied smirk. It wasn't as good as blackmailing a hot exotic classmate but it was a close second. He had taken the girls in the class down a notch with that revelation and it would do a number for his reputation and credibility. With hope he would go down in the history of the UA as the charming guy who put the girl's in his class in their rightful place. With a little fantasy this could help the girls loosen up enough for his future schemes to bare fruit.

Mineta turned to the pink girl and saw that she was near tears. It was impressive that she hadn't already ran out of the class. Ashido crying wouldn't come as a shock to him. Mineta felt a little bad in his heart but the feeling was quickly drowned out by the whelming up feeling of pride in his chest.

He defeated one of the most popular people in class without having to throw a single blow.

Mineta placed a hand on the corner of his forehead. He looked completely impressed with himself, like his feat had surpassed common sense. 'Just how awesome have I become now?. Ashido's been taken down, the girls have been humbled and the guys now respect and revere me. All that accomplished in an instant.' Mineta shook his head in faux disbelief. 'Yare yare... Sometimes my genius, it scares me.' Mineta thought smugly. He broke into a sudden loud/evil laughter. The whole class was probably staring at him but he didn't care. They ought to be. He won. This was the face of a winner. This was the face of the guy who defeated the girls in one m–

Whack!

Mineta's self appreciating thoughts were cut off by a slender hand smacking him upside the head. Despite the frame of the arm it proved to pack quite a bit of power and easily sent Mineta hurtling across the room and into a desk.

"I have no idea what's going on but I've learnt it's best to smack the heck outta you when you laugh like that." A voice resounded behind the beaten up Mineta. It was a voice he recognized and hoped he wouldn't hear throughout his time in the UA.

The class turned to the speaker and were stunned to find the alluring figure of possibly the most beautiful person they had seen in their lives. The person in question was a girl who appeared to been in her late teens, she was dressed in a school uniform signifying that she was a student just like them. On glance the class could tell that this girl was a senior. She appeared far more matured and was near a head taller than the girls in the classroom.

She stood at five feet and ten inches with a jaw dropping physique. Her figure couldn't be considered anything but hourglassed, her bust was even larger than Momo's and she had hips wide enough to make any man go gaga. Her rear was apple shaped and firm, barely covered by the short uniform skirt she wore. The girl had longed blonde hair that she wore in a ponytail, her facial features didn't lose out to her provocative figure in the slightest. She had long eyelashes, pretty cyan colored eyes, a flawless nose and full pink lips. Her skin looked tender enough to break from the slightest of rough handling, it was smooth and without any trace of blemishes. Every corner of the girl's body looked fragile and were without any visible flaws. She had the appearance of a goddess that had descended from a higher plane. The girl's in class 1A suddenly felt their self-esteem drop several levels. Compared to this divine looking being their beauty seemed quite ordinary. They were nothing but ordinary mortals to her.

It was worthy to note that though the blonde beauty had the appearance of a goddess, she didn't dress anything near saintly. Her uniform hugged her figure, leaving little of her 'size' to imagination. Her skirt was more than a few centimeters too short, making it unideal for anything that would make her knees bend.

She was dressed in the full school uniform, yet the clothes on how appeared scanty. She wore her tie loosely and left a few buttons undone, leaving more than an eyeful of cleavage for all to see. She wore a black and gold choker with a very inappropriate word as its pendant. There were a handful of bracelets around her wrists and a band with a mini queen crown attached at the top around her hair. Her socks were pulled up to the end of her thighs and she wore an expensive looking designers high heels.

The girl's faced lightly scrunched up in disgust, but even at that she still looked so beautiful the male portion of the class nearly passed out from seeing her. She was stunning. Really too attractive. The class completely forgot about Ashido's issue at that moment. The main focus was this bombshell that had appeared in their class. They all wanted to know who she was.

Mineta groggily picked himself from under the desk he was smacked into. He stared up at the figure responsible for the surprise hit. From this angle if he tilted his head just a little then he would be able to see some of the 'good stuff'. Only Mineta wouldn't dare. He knew better than 'peeking' on this girl. She dressed like a damn hooker but had no patience for anybody who 'profaned her with their eyes'. She was a walking contradiction. A darn trap set up for people like him. She was the source of more than one of his his nightmares.

"Ino-senpai why are you here?." Mineta squeaked out. His classmates stared at him in shock but he paid them no mind. They were probably wondering when he became so reserved talking to anything in a skirt. They wouldn't get it. They were ignorant of the terror of this blonde beauty. He knew very well and knew not to get on her bad side.

"I go to school here squirt." The girl snorted. She then narrowed her eyes at the purple haired boy. "What about you, what were you laughing about just now?." Ino asked.

Mineta paled in fright. "Nothing!. Absolutely nothing!." he quickly denied. The smack he got could be considered a love tap compared to what Ino would do to him if she found out what he was scheming.

"Oh so you just had a schizophrenic episode is all?." Ino said with a dry sarcastic expression.

"YES. THAT'S IT. I'M INSANE HAHAHAHAHAHA!." Mineta declared and burst into a wild laughter. Those around him inched away from him in fear.

Ino stared at the ridiculous act coldly. What a silly mind this pervert had. "Shut up before I smack you again." Ino said. Mineta immediately went silent. The girl brushed her hair aside before leveling an intense gaze on Mineta. "Now will you spill or do I have to find out myself?." She asked in a dangerously low tone.

Bullets of sweat rolled down Mineta's face. 'Fuck me. What sort of unholy luck do I possess?. Not even good minutes into my victory and I get fucked by karma on the frigging hour. This... Heaven is against me!.' Mineta wailed.

He literally crying now. He didn't care about the onlookers, he hated his life right now. He knew that he didn't have a choice. The only option was to snitch on himself. Any other course of action would be foolhardy and only aid to land him in further trouble. This situation was beyond lamentable. Mineta felt so wronged he wished he went to law school instead so he could sue. Even then he wouldn't know who to sue.

Mineta was forced to explain the situation to Ino. He didn't dare leave out the slightest bit of information. He knew Ino well enough to know she was an amazing lie detector and an even more amazing torturer. If he lied to her, twisted words or left anything out she would know and would make sure to make him regret. Mineta could only give the truth and nothing but the truth.

The class was left in a daze. They wondered what had gone wrong with the world or if they were all seeing things. Minoru Mineta, the biggest pervert that they had seen in their lives met with possibly the most attractive female in school and spoke respectfully and with care. He was submissive to the girl and it did not seen like this was a play to get her to drop her guard. Mineta appeared to be genuinely terrified of this blonde beauty and so wary of her that he didn't dare ogle her in the slightest.

A person with little to no morals showed a high level of self control that many of them were unsure they possessed. They were not sure if the person they were seeing right now was Mineta or if that smack had somehow altered his personality. They couldn't make any sense of it. They could only watch the interaction between the two and hope an explanation as to why Mineta had suddenly turned to a different person would be given.

As Ino listened to the short boy's explanation her frown got deeper and deeper. When Mineta was done she glared at him in disgust and annoyance. 'He really hasn't changed one bit. He's still as hateful and scheming as ever.' Ino thought. They said old habits die hard, but why did he have to have so many terrible bad habits?. Ino shook her head with a sigh. Trying to understand people like this was impossible even for her. "I'll deal with you later." Ino pointed at the purple haired boy.

The boy's face turned extremely frightened, he tried to argue but a glare from Ino was enough to shut him up. Ino wiped the frown from her face and schooled her expression. She wore an enchanting smile as she turned to the rest class 1A. Expectedly more than one persons almost passed out from overheating due to excessive blushing. Ino giggled to herself. She absolutely adored the reaction she got out of cute little juniors like these.

"Ah, I suppose I should introduce myself." Ino said with an embarrassed laugh.

Somehow the laugh came out sounding seductive to the ears of the male portion of the class. Their faces turned angry red and smoke billowed out of their nostrils. It was taking all their willpower not to go full-on Mineta on this senior. Ino paid no heed to the boys struggling to maintain their sanity and proceeded with her introduction. "My name is Yamanaka Ino. I'm a senior from class 3A, happy to make your acquaintance." Ino said with a friendly smile.

A good majority of the class perked up at the mention of the surname. "Yamanaka?." they said in unison.

In modern day Japan they still existed various sites, objects and organizations from the older days, and the Yamanaka clan was one such. The Yamanaka clan was among the six oldest clans in all of Japan. The six clans had endured the the test of time and survived through multitude of tragedies, waves and wars. The oldest came into being as early as the 18th century, and still went on strongly til date. Due to their ancient ancestry and influence on the formation of the present Japan, the members of the six families were held in a high regard by the government.

The children of the main families were the closest things to princes and princesses one could find in modern Japan. The whole family was held in a higher pedestal, and even the common workers had a substantial degree of status comparable high level government officials.

Being a part of such a clan basically set one out from the rest. It was perceived that near all the children born within the six clans ended up as spoilt brats with no sense of responsibility and lack of self control. They were dubbed 'little ancestors' by the younger generation, a reference to how an older person would still have to act respectfully towards a younger clan member and how they often abused this privilege.

The perception was more often than not confirmed by the standout individuals from the six clans. Though they possessed many outstanding qualities, their talents were still marred by their personalities. They looked down on the masses from their lofty social position and gave little to no regard for the opinion of commoners. Some were cold to the world and ignored everything 'beneath them', others sought to destroy the things they didn't like and there were some who got a kick out of jerking around people below their status.

One way or the other clan kids always proved to be detestable.

This was why it was such a huge shock for class 1A when the senior introduced herself as a Yamanaka.

Clan kids varied in their core personalities, as did the teachings of the clan. However, the fundamentals of nobility, etiquette, grammar and proper bearing were common ground for all six. They hammered these four values into the heads of their children and made sure they stuck to it always. That was what made it so easy to spot a clan kid. They always stood out. Their orderliness, manner of speech, bearing and even their outwardly appearance was always a giveaway.

It was completely different for Yamanaka Ino though. The Yamanaka clan were the youngest of the six clans, thus possessed the mildest of core training and were the most flexible of all. However, when it came down to it a noble was still a noble. Ino, however, seemed nothing like a noble. In truth she seemed more like a gyaru than anything else. Her personality, from what they'd seen, was unlike your typical noble. She didn't talk like them, she talked normally. She didn't have that hateful 'I'm better than you' bearing either, she appeared to be quite friendly on the contrary. She most definitely did not dress like a noble either. If Ino hadn't introduced herself as a Yamanaka then the whole of class 1A wouldn't have the slightest of suspicion that she was one.

Ino smiled but didn't react to the silent question in all their eyes. They were still so green. Thinking all nobles were the same like the rest of the public. In any case she wasn't here to talk about herself. The blonde opened her mouth to speak.

"I thought you nobles preferred to go to private schools." Bakugo said.

Ino sighed. It appeared this topic couldn't be avoided. Though the spiky haired teen was a little too blunt for her liking Ino could see from the eyes of her classmates that they shared the curiosity of Bakugo. She had choice to give these little kids a quick reality check.

Ino crossed her arms under her bust and presumed a cold expression. In an instant Ino had gone from a person who looked nothing like a noble to a typical one. Her bearing took the attention from her unsuitable dress. "What is it to you?. You have a problem with nobles?." Ino asked. Her manner of speech had changed as well.

The class turned their eyes on Bakugo in anticipation of his response. The wild and ill-mannered kid in the class facing off against a proper noble senior. This had the makings of an memorable encounter.

Bakugo frowned in annoyance. Partly because he knew his classmates wanted use him probe this senior and because he wasn't sure who exactly he should be glaring at right now. He basically walked right into this. Now the responsibility was on him. From the onset it was Bakugo's intention to stand up to this senior, however, now he knew the others stayed silent to con him into doing so he was reluctant to continue. The only thing that kept him from aborting his attempts at probing the noble was the noble herself. If he backed down now he would be making a fool out of himself, and probably never be able to live it down.

He had no choice but to grit his teeth and let these bastards use him. Revenge could come later. "So what if I do?." Bakugo said directly.

He'd never been one to cushion his words to avoid offending people. On the contrary he would make it his mission to say all the things he knew people would find offensive if he knew them. If this girl was looking to use something like discrimination to get him to back off then she was in for a huge disappointment.

Ino was taken aback by the boy's brazen report. This kid was really a bold one. It was a well known fact that most people disliked nobles, however that did not mean they would go around saying it. Saying it amongst their pairs was doable, but even that could earn you the tag of a 'discriminator'.

Nobody was born evil, so hating people simply for being born in a noble family was discrimination and unwarranted prejudice no matter how you put it. People weren't crazy enough to say it directly to a noble, most especially noble kids, unless they had some sort of reliance. With great power, they said came with great responsibility. On the contrary many noble children had next to no sense of responsibilities and tended to be extremely petty and unreasonable. Thus it would be nothing but foolishness to offend one of these 'little ancestors' knowing how vengeful and irresponsible they could be.

From the looks of it, Bakugo Katsuki was a kid with a normal background. He likely had next to no reliance, yet he boldly told off a noble. That in itself was, albeit a bit admirable, foolish. He could easily implicate his parents with his words. Ino saw in the boy's eyes that he wasn't a stupid person, however he possessed anger issues that clouded his sense of judgement more often than not. Ino gave the boy a thin smile. He must have thought himself really impressive, but in truth he had done the most stupid thing possible. Ino wondered how to approach the situation. Should she pretend to be offended or just directly reveal how idiotic he had been?.

"Kaachan didn't mean it!."

A voice interrupted Ino's thoughts. The blonde turned to the direction of the speaker and found it was a peculiar green haired boy. The one called Midoriya Izuku.

Izuku rushed to the front of Bakugo and the rest of the class and offered a deep bow. His words were smooth and without hitches but in his heart he was anything but calm.

During his training to improve his vessel with Allmight the hero had taken advantage of the time to give him some education. He taught him about different things and nobles and their personalities were one of the things he highlighted as important.

Izuku like the rest of the public only knew about them on the surface. As rich and influential people of the society who gazed down on the rest of the nation. Izuku had learnt that they weren't so simple. According to Allmight it was better if he tried to stay out of noble business the best he could. The number one hero didn't offer much of an explanation, but he did weigh in on how unreasonable people with power who weren't thought to control it could be.

Nobles were such kind of people. They were brought into this world and granted status and power over the masses, yet they were left uneducated on how to properly channel this power.

Left at their own devices, there was really nothing they wouldn't do if you incensed them enough.

That wasn't Izuku's only reason for standing up though. From the moment Ino introduced herself as a Yamanaka, he felt like something had clicked in his head. He suddenly recalled Naruto's words from the day before.

"Within the JHA exists a group of influential men and women, who call themselves 'the board'. They are a joint association of standout men and women from top influential corporations, families, organizations and parties. These old bastards are responsible for all the things you stated. Hero registration, licensing, deployment and they do fund a lot of hero related establishments. They do more than that though, for example they are also in control of the police force and have their hands in the politics of the country. You could say that this board controls the entirety of Japan..."

When Naruto had said it the first time Izuku was still skeptical about his credibility and whether any of what he said was not a lie. After that Naruto revealed far more shocking information and Izuku didn't think to return back to those words. Ino's statement was like a snap of a reminder in his mind and Izuku's mind drifted back to those words from Naruto.

''They are a joint association of standout men and women from top influential corporations, families...''

Families.

Naruto had highlighted that the JHA or the board were a significantly old formation, and thought he didn't go into name calling he revealed that they were a collection of influential people cherry picked from old bodies such as generational business corporations, political parties and clans.

The Yamanaka was the youngest of the six noble clans, however compared to other clans of lower status it was quite old still. There was a chance that the girl standing in front of his class was a part of a clan connected to the secret board of the JHA. Though at this point all Izuku had were suspicions and nothing concrete. For all he knew the Yamanaka had nothing to do with the JHA, and even if they did, that didn't automatically mean Ino was a part of it. Suspicions were still suspicions, so even though he was unsure, Izuku thought to tread with caution. If anything the girl was still a noble.

Izuku was still in the process of deciding on the course of action to take while the rest of the class mentally cheered Bakugo on. The green haired boy only woke up from his thoughts when Bakugo fearlessly rebuked Ino. He wasted no time and quickly rushed to the front of his childhood friend.

Bakugo was a brilliant person, but even intelligence couldn't make up for a lack of knowledge. Whatever he was thinking when he said those words he wasn't fortunate enough to know that he was possibly regarding a girl whose clan had a firm grasp on the reins of the entire nation.

The child of a clan that could be literally funding his education. That wasn't somebody even Bakugo would want to piss off. Izuku despite the lack of confirmation reacted to the situation how he would have were he sure that Ino was a part of the JHA's internal organization. With extreme caution.

Ino raised an eyebrow at Izuku. It had been a while since someone bowed at her. She suddenly felt a spike of annoyance in her heart and frowned at the green haired boy. "Stop bowing." Ino said in a commanding tone.

Izuku gulped. She sounded pissed. He was at a loss at whether to do as she said or keep on bowing. Right now he was unsure which would annoy her the least. Luckily for him, Mineta came to the unwanted rescue once more.

"If the lady says do something I advise you just do it." Mineta spoke up from his 'safe spot' atop a desk. He maintained a good distance away from Ino, though he knew it would do him no good either way. It was a mental barrier if anything. How badly he wished he had an actual mental barrier.

Barely after the words came out of Mineta's mouth, Bakugo's furious voice erupted from behind Izuku. "Deku what the fuck are you doing?!." The blonde snapped in rage.

Here he was still trying to decide whether he was right or wrong to stand up to a noble knowing he was being used and this geek pulled this off?. Bakugo's head almost exploded from vexation. Izuku always seemed to be meddling in his affairs. When they were youngster he did so from behind him, but now they were in the UA together he actually had the gall to think himself his equal.

Bakugo suddenly recalled the battle examination that he joined up with Ida against Izuku and Uraraka in. It happened last week, yet it felt like it was just yesterday. He couldn't get the scene of Izuku slamming on his back out of his mind. Neither the words that he screamed to him as they fought. He had lost. He lost to a quirkless good-for-nothing. He struggled to come to terms with it then and even now he wasn't close to getting over it, but it appeared Izuku was already getting smug over it.

Bakugo gritted his teeth in an attempt to reel in his fury. 'How dare you put yourself ahead of me!.' he stared at Izuku's back and that annoying nervous expression in hatred.

This scene was something he couldn't condone. He couldn't stand it. It reminded him of another time. And then it was just as if not more embarrassing than this time. When Izuku rushed in to 'rescue' him from that slime villain. He could clearly see the terror in his eyes, he was powerless and knew he couldn't change anything and yet...

...He rushed in still. To save him.

It was damn too similar. What Izuku was doing now was so similar Bakugo wanted to puke. 'Deku... why are you always doing this?.'

Izuku looked up unbeknownst of the rage stewing in Bakugo's heart nor the torrent of thoughts rushing through his mind. "Ah kacchan sorry for interrupting." Izuku waved his hands in a desperate apology. His eyes then turned solemn when he turned to the now calm faced Ino. "It's just... we shouldn't be rude to our seniors." Izuku said.

A majority of the class stared at Izuku in wonder. The way he rushed out made was quite urgent, however his words didn't match his energy earlier. It was as though he was just using that as an excuse to interrupt the altercation between Bakugo and Ino.

Yet again Izuku was acting strangely towards a senior. Some of his classmates begun to wonder if the boy had a vendetta against senior students.

Ino stared at the green haired boy who was staring at her with the same eyes as Mineta. As though she was some sort of poisonous dragon. In Izuku's case lied a difference that Ino was perceptive to. While Mineta was terrified of her for the right reasons, Izuku's terror was a blind one. Ino didn't have to think much to associate his fear to her status. It made sense if he was wary of nobles, but to be so terrified of them?. It didn't make sense.

This wasn't a fear for 'little ancestors', this was purely a fear for the Yamanaka. This begged the question, why was Midoriya Izuku so terrified of the Yamanaka clan. Ino hazard a guess in her mind and had to stop a scowl from reaching her face.

Her anger aside, she couldn't help but appreciate the reaction of the green haired boy. Though he was wary of him, he didn't let his fear cloud his senses and made sure to put up a proper excuse for interrupting her 'talk' with his classmate. Though it was careless of him to bow at her, that could be excused as politeness. He cleverly put himself between her and his friend to protect him. Just from that Ino could tell he was a good person. She smiled.

"All's well." Ino said with a wave of her hand. "It's normal for you kids to be curious why a noble is attending a public school."

"Eh?." Mineta facefaulted. He thought Ino would chide Izuku for his interruption at least. He never expected her to not only not offended but forgive Bakugo's rudeness to boot. Mineta only made a move to stop Izuku and intentionally stayed silent when it was Bakugo that was leading the offensive against Ino.

Truth be told he never really liked the guy much. His first impression of him was a showoff and a bully and that impression only got worse with every experience. Bakugo was a bad egg. Mineta wouldn't mind watching him foolishly court his own humiliation. A part of him craved to see it happen.

For an absurd reason it didn't happened and Bakugo had even been forgiven. On the other hand he was still in trouble. Mineta felt frustrated to the extreme. Why was his life so unfair?.

Izuku and Bakugo were just as confused as Mineta. Bakugo had no clue why a person who he was sure he had annoyed would suddenly forgive him. He thought to blame it on Izuku, however he could tell from the girl's first reaction that she wasn't exactly thrilled by the boy's interruption. It was the same for Izuku.

"Still it is very rude to talk to a senior like that spiky." Ino pointed at Bakugo and chided. Though he voice sounded stern her expression was anything but. Her eyes returned to Izuku. "Interrupting isn't any better either." She said a little more seriously.

"G-gomen." Izuku hesitated but still apologized.

"Also I don't get why you kids are so surprised. Like, who told you a noble can't go to a public school?." Ino asked the class with a raised eyebrow. "Are you forgetting UA's reputation?. This isn't your run-of-the-mill school." she said matter-of-factly. "The girl who got rescued by that blockhead yesterday's family is damn near richer than mine, so what's wrong with me being in the UA?."

The students of class 1A immediately felt very stupid. They had totally forgotten about the rich kid in their own class. Though the Yaoyorozu family's status couldn't match up to the Yamanaka's, they were equals in terms of wealth. Momo was their classmates and they all knew about her family yet they didn't find it strange that she was in the UA.

Momo's family was just as wealthy as Ino's, so was there really any private school Ino could go to that Momo couldn't?. Yet they were both her. That was a testament of the UA's impressiveness, it was given the title of 'greatest hero academy in Japan' so what was out of the ordinary about a clan elite attending it?. They had thought too much of Ino's status and too little of the UA's reputation.

"As expected of UA, even the cream of the crop of society flock to get a chance to enter." Ida said in awe. He knew a thing or two about nobles and understood how impressive something had to be to garner their attention. On hindsight it was thoughtless of them to think this legendary school wasn't good enough for a noble. 'Goes to show how inexperienced and ignorant we are' Ida thought. The boy decided that when he got home he would reread the school's introductory books again to get a better understanding of how 'elite' the UA was.

"Yeah UA's awesome!." Sero cheered.

"Apologies for our presumptuousness Yamanaka-senpai." Asui said. "Can we call you that?." The frog girl added as an afterthought. Ino gave a light smile and a nod.

"Yeah we were really too much, sorry bout that." Kirishima said.

"We're sorry Yamanaka-senpai!." The class chorused.

"It's okay... jeez. You guys need to learn how to relax." Ino said. Though the class apologized, four other students didn't look particularly remorseful. As expected Bakugo and Mineta were amongst the four. Todoroki was one out of the other two, which was understandable considering his personality. As for the final student, Ino was a little surprised to see 'that' sort of look on one of class 1A student's face.

This class was really filled with interesting people. 'Just like he said.' Ino thought.

"Anyways, I came for different reasons, but before I get to that... Pinky!." Ino turned to Ashido. The girl stood at the corner of the class, away from the rest of her classmates with a sullen and embarrassed expression. The girl looked up at Ino with scared eyes. "Chill, I'm not gonna get on your case for that comment. It's your personal life and really has nothing to do with me." Ino assured. Ashido sighed in relief. "However..." The blonde beauty started with a raised finger. "I got a piece of advice for you." Ino said.

Ashido silently waited for the older girl to continue. When the pause went on for too long she realized Ino expected her to ask her a question back. "Uh... what's that Yamanaka-senpai?."

Ino nodded in approval. "That oaf Naruto got pretty famous overnight and may seem like a really great person right about now, but don't be deceived. He's the same kind of person as that thing over there." Ino turned her finger to Mineta. The boy gritted his teeth, unable to express his annoyance and contain it as well. How hateful.

Ashido's face turned confused. "I get they're both perverts, but Naruto-senpai seems to be more than that. And I don't think he's as low as Mineta."

"Hey!." Mineta yelled. He couldn't raise his voice at that terrible nightmare of a woman but Ashido was a different case.

"Hush squirt. Actual human people are talking." Ino shushed the purple haired boy. She leveled an amused gaze at Ashido. "You're really awed by him aren't you?."

Ashido blushed lightly and looked away. "Err... He saved Yaoyorozu's life and stopped those villains. Who wouldn't be?." Ashido said with a shrug, trying and failing at masking her real feelings.

Ino didn't mind though. It was an adorable attempt. "Admittedly what that oaf did is impressive. He's always been a combat animal." Ino conceded with a nod. "Still. That doesn't make him a proper human being. Even dogs can save lives and they're not humans. Yeah, I guess I can say that's what that oaf is; a dog. The worst kind of dog." Ino said with broad smile. Anyone could tell she took a great deal of job talking down on the Uzumaki. "A dog that doesn't know its place. I'll warn you Ashido, those kind of dogs are persistent once they know you like 'em. They'll latch on to you like a lost puppy and never let go until you give 'em what they want." Ino said.

Her eyes lowered to Ashido's groin area at the last statement. The girl and almost the entirety of her class blushed. "He's probably doing the same thing for your friend. Be smart kid and don't be a victim of dogs like that." Ino pointed at Mineta again.

The short boy was at a loss of words at how everything bad always seemed to find their way to him. Now he was taking blame for Naruto's bad reputation. He hadn't even gotten anybody he could latch on yet and he was already one of the 'worst dogs'. Kami all he wanted was just some fairness in his life. It was like the whole world was picking on him.

Ino could tell from Ashido's expression that she didn't take her words to heart. The girl smiled nonetheless. Some people just had to learn the hard way. "Midoriya. You're Midoriya right?." Ino turned to Izuku with a questioning look.

The boy was trying to get out of Bakugo's 'kill range' when Ino spoke to him. Izuku regarded the blonde with a curious look and nodded. "Y-yeah."

"Super." Ino said then reached into her cleavage for something. The sight of her fingers sinking into those smooth mounds of softness was enough to make Izuku's brain short-circuit. The more 'active' males of the class were sent rocketing back with huge nosebleeds. The even more mature/experienced male students couldn't stop the blush from reaching their faces, the same for the girls. Ino giggled at the their reaction. Inexperienced juniors were really the best to tease.

Ino pulled out a thin U-shaped badge looking object out from her cleavage and pointed it at Izuku. "Here. You dropped this."

Izuku's mind was still in the rebooting process when he caught sight of the object in Ino's hands. He was instantly knocked back into his senses. That object was an exact copy of the thing Naruto had given him for emergencies. After a moment Ino's words registered in his mind and his eyes went wide. He swiftly searched his pockets and the ran to his bag and begun emptying it.

"Don't bother. The one you're looking for is what I'm holding." Ino said to the green haired boy.

"It can't be I..." Izuku went on searching. Alas he found nothing. It was as Ino had said. The thing he was looking for was in her hand. Izuku turned to the blonde girl looking flabbergasted. He was sure he hadn't dropped it. From the night Naruto had given this to him he understood it was very important and could be instrumental in his life at some point.

He stepped into a world where eight out of the top ten heroes he looked up to could be defeated by a highschooler. In such a crazy world there was no telling what could go wrong. He would need all the help he could get when the waves sent out when he barged in inevitably returned to him. So Izuku made sure to always keep that device around him. He wasn't sure what it would do, but Naruto said it was for a life and death situation so it meant it could save him.

A lifesaving object wasn't something a person as meticulous as Izuku would leave lying around. Yet somehow and at some point he seemed to have lost it.

It wasn't as though Izuku thought himself incapable of losing an item, but this situation was a bit too strange. He had no clue he had lost this mysterious object and even before he could a senior who he didn't know and shouldn't know shows up to return it to him. This wasn't something he wore around his neck that everybody knew about. Izuku made sure to keep information of its existence a secret. He had told nobody. Somehow this senior knew it belonged to him.

Izuku's suspicions about and caution towards Yamanaka Ino were at an alarming high right now. The only way he could explain her knowing was if she was a part of the JHA and knew about his meeting with Naruto. If that were the case, then why was she openly approaching him like this?. Surely she knew such actions was as good as giving her identity away. Why was she doing this then?. Izuku had a sea of questions and no means to get the answers.

"You gonna take this or...?." Ino asked the freckled teen with raised eyebrows. Izuku stared at her warily but still took the object in the end. Ino had the urge to roll her eyes but suppressed it. "You should try to learn more about your seniors. We as your seniors really have no obligation at this point to, but it's different for you juniors." Ino said sternly. "You're in our care. The least you can do is have our basic information. If you did you wouldn't be staring at me like I'm your stalker or something." Ino snorted.

Izuku's face turned confused. This time Ino did roll her eyes. She turned to address the entire class. "I mean that for all of you. For a hero information is everything. Not being in the know is as good as being useless or dead. If a hero doesn't know that a person is in danger then how can they save 'em?." Ino asked rhetorically.

The juniors shared a look with each other. It was true. Without information heroes couldn't do anything. That was why the police force was still such an important piece in crime fighting. The burden of moving around information and alerting the heroes were on them. Without the hard work of the Japanese police no hero in Japan could function.

Ino narrowed her eyes at the students. "You think getting into UA is where it ends?. It's just the beginning. Or do you think you were selected because your just so amazing?." Ino turned to Bakugo. The boy snorted and looked away. "Or because you tried real hard like a real man?." She turned to Kirishima. The redhead looked down in shame. "Or because your quirk is great?." She turned to Todoroki.

To the boy's credit he didn't seem to be paying attention, however when she turned to him he leveled a cold glare back at her. He only looked away when he realized others would start watching if he kept it up. Ino smirked but said nothing. What a brat. "Or because you deserve it?." Ino turned back to Izuku. "Let me tell you... You don't. None of you deserve to be in UA."

A pin dropping silence followed. Naturally the silence was followed by indistinct murmuring. The expressions of class 1A members varied but most of appeared pissed. No matter what people didn't like to be told they were undeserving or that their efforts meant nothing. Even in cases that it was true people wouldn't want to hear it still. Words like those were too much on the pride of humans.

Nobody liked being belittled.

So when Ino belittled their capabilities, efforts, quirks and merits they were understandably angry. If she wasn't a senior then a number of students would have already stood up to her by now.

"What... are you mad?." Ino asked mockingly. "Okay, do you think you're as deserving as Allmight was to be here?." The room went quiet. "No?. I thought you were pretty amazing, so why not?." Ino asked. She brushed her hair aside and her eyes dulled into seriousness. "It's cause you're not. All you are right now are snot nosed brats. Rookies, basically useless to the world. You don't deserve to be here. At least for now." Ino added.

She walked about the class and peered at the faces of each of the students, gauging their reactions. "They selected you outta of the pile of schmucks as a gamble. You guys have the better odds of turning out to be something worthwhile, but you're still schmucks until proven otherwise. So, you can get mad all you want but you really don't deserve to be here." Ino said firmly. The self-assurance in her words was to a level that no one could convince her otherwise. The students stared at her with mixed emotions. "I believe this more so after seeing you. What a lassiez faire approach. You just sit on your asses and wait for your teachers to tell you what to do, when to do it. As things are you all are on the path of becoming shitty heroes that wait for the police to call before they swoop into action. Unreliable heroes. Is that what you want to be?." Ino asked.

Every words she said was pounded into the minds of the students of class 1A. They truly had taken a passive approach and did heavily depend on their teachers for everything. They didn't make any efforts to go out and find out things. It was as though they were shackled to this classroom, when in actuality they weren't. There was a whole other junior class they knew nothing about. Two classes above them that they just as well knew nothing about, and they had been content. Living in ignorance. It was pathetic. They realized it now, they should've done more.

The first seniors they met literally had to show up in their class and introduce themselves. They already seemed to know a fair bit about their juniors, while they, the ones who should be looking up to them knew nothing about them. Could class 1A really say they'd put in as much effort as they could?. Not anymore. This was far beneath plus ultra, far beneath the school standards. Far beneath what was expected of them. Surely, the teachers didn't share their apathetic nature and would take record of it.

Class 1A had to step up.

"If you want to, then go ahead. The world needs more cannon fodder anyways. If not, then you have to do better. Way better than this." Ino pointed at Izuku, or specifically the object in his hand. "Better than wondering how a person with a Yamanaka and a bearer of a psych quirk knows whether or not something belongs to you. Or why the student's council historian with a whole office in L (Lost Found) section is handing a lost item back to the owner."

The students of class 1A's eyes widened in shock and realization.

Psych quirks. These are quirks relating to the mind or nature of living beings. Though they weren't often physically useful quirks like these were very popular among the public. There were different types of psych quirks around the globe, ranging from super intelligence, mind reading, hypnosis, illusions, brainwashing, mind warping or control and many more.

People with psych quirks were sought out by various agencies, from hero agencies to civilian organizations. The usefulness of psych quirks in modern times was immeasurable. Their versatility was unmatched and could prove to he indispensable in nearly any line of business. Law and order, retail, entertainment, research, science and education, you name it. The mind was required for everything organized, thus those born with a superior one were like a blessing to any organization they joined.

There was a popular saying. 'Psych quirks don't find work, work finds psych quirks.'

The Yamanaka were a clan known for producing the most psych quirk users in the world. 99% of the quirk users in the Yamanaka clan had psych quirks. Just the Yamanaka clan was responsible for about 4% of the world's psych quirk users population. Outside Japan psych quirk users were mostly scarce, so that number may not be as outrageous as one would think but it was still quite a number.

Yamanaka's were natural born psych quirk users, and seemed to be more capable than most the squeeze out the potential of psych quirks. They had an affinity for it and had so many varieties of them popping out in their bloodline that it eventually begun to mutate to form mixed or augmented versions of the originally established psych quirks.

Currently Yamanakas could harness a hybrid of up to seven psych quirks as one effortlessly. This, however was the absolute maximum, and there were near no Yamanakas who had a hybrid quirk on such a level. Regular hybrids (with a mixture of two quirks) and tribids (possessing three parts) were nothing out of the ordinary.

Since they were so versed in psych quirks, the Yamanaka clan put their talents towards all things mind and information related. They sent out members to work as journalists, detectives, psychologists, psychiatrists, advisers and sociologists. The Yamanaka made their wealth off mental health care, innovative science and literature. They were a clan of geniuses, creators, artists and healers. In Japan know clan boasted of a higher percentage of graduates, IQ average and school record than the Yamanaka clan.

With quirks that often enhanced the brain capacity, it wasn't a surprise that the average Yamanaka was a lot sharper and smarter than most people.

If it was a Yamanaka then depending on they're quirk, finding out who owned a missing item was a cinch. Though it was unconfirmed what type of psych quirk Ino had, it was likely it was a hybrid. In which case very probable that mind sweep was one of them. A more common quirk amongst the Yamanaka. With a quirk like that all Ino had to do was walk into the class thinking something, and those who had thoughts/memories matching hers would be highlighted in her mind and ranked by relevance. It was a perfect quirk for picking out traitors. An asset of the Yamanaka.

Ino's last statement made the class realize they didn't put in enough effort. They didn't know about the school's student council until a council member showed up to tell them about it. They were too focused on themselves and lost track of their surroundings. They ought to know things like these. Like who the council president and vice president were, who was the head of the disciplinary committee and where the various departments were. They only just found out there was a L section in UA. There should be a disciplinary hall as well.

UA was an old school with a wealth of history and culture. Of course it wasn't as simple as a teacher and student meet and interaction. There had to be other sides to it, and there was. There was a council, and Ino revealed herself to be the historian as well as the student rep of the L section. That was just a part and was still a lot to learn about the school.

Ino kept her hands akimbo and gave a dazingly smile to the class. "Like I said earlier, my name is Yamanaka Ino and I am the council's historian and L section rep. It's nice to meet you class 1A."

Staff Council Room

Same Time

The staff council room was as the name implied. A meeting place for key staff members of the UA. This was the room where most of the important decisions of the UA were made. It was often used for regular meetings, relating to infrastructure change or salary adjustment for the minor staff and others. Today was different. Today the nature of the meeting was far more urgent. In fact it wasn't a stretch to call this a panic meeting.

Almost all the most influential people of the UA were currently all gathered within this room.

A scarred faced white rodent in a suit sat at the head of the long meeting table. Naturally this was Nezu, the principal and general overseer of UA as well as the host of this staff meeting. The intelligent mouse wore a calm and cheerful expression on a regular basis. Regardless of what troubles came his way, he always remained calm. That was why he was able to tackle whatever problems he faced. He had a great deal of patience and learnt that perseverance was an all-important virtue.

Today Nezu's patience was running thin. He had been in this situation far too many times than he could count. It was almost like he was insane, and trying to accomplish an impossible task. Truth be told, that wasn't far from the truth.

The teachers and other staff members within had the same feeling as principal Nezu.

Aside from the head chair, there were sixteen lined up, with eight each on both sides. Four out of the sixteen chairs were left empty, while the others had staff members seated on them. Midnight, the teacher who was supposed to be on suspension was present as well. She sat on the right side with a small frown on her face.

She was still ripping the unfortunate fruits of her actions yesterday, yet the school couldn't keep her out of this. She was supposed to be suspended, and wouldn't get a month's salary and they still called her in. The woman wondered why she even came.

Other well known teachers within the junior classes like Present Mic, Vlad King and Ectoplasm were here. The department heads such as Cementoss, Power Loader, Thirteen, Recovery Girl, Hound Dog and Snipe were present. The senior class teachers were all seated at the left hand side of the table. There were a total of four of them, with only two being present. The absentees consisted of the said senior class teachers, class 1A's homeroom teacher Aizawa and Allmight.

Currently in the room, thirteen out of the seventeen possible staff members were gathered. They all had serious expressions as they listened to the words of the principal.

"I apologize for calling a meeting out of the blue like this." Nezu said. He turned to Midnight and gave her an apologetic smile. "Particularly you Midnight, I promise to review your suspension after this." Nezu said.

Midnight gave a small smile in response. The white mouse was unsure whether or not that smile mirrored her true feelings. It surely didn't feel good to get suspended and then called back on like that. Possibly the woman would nurse a grudge and give him the cold shoulder for a while, but that was a matter for another time. Right now he needed all his teachers aboard. "Okay. Let's dive right into it." Nezu slapped his palm on the table as he said. "Uzumaki Naruto, or what we call the menace of the UA is at it again."

Some of the teachers chuckled at the principal's words while others face palmed. How many times had they started a meeting with those lines?. That kid was really more trouble than he was worth.

"Naruto is one of the brightest students in our school, but he's proving to be too difficult to control." Snipe said with a shake of his head. He hadn't instructed the boy directly in years but he could vividly remember his freshman years. What a nightmare. That kid was like a spawn of the god of mischief Loki. He was always up to no good.

"His potential is massive but he needs to learn to be more responsible." Cementoss added.

"Naruto is a free spirit, he detest being told what to do. Chances are he will rebel the moment he thinks someone is trying to control him." Recovery Girl was the first to come to the boy's defense. "To a degree he can't help it. Don't forget what it's like to have a quirk like that." She said. The teacher's who reprimanded Naruto or were thinking to faces turned solemn and a little embarrassed.

"Grrr grrr woof!." Hound Dog nodded in agreement with Recovery Girl's words.

Nezu waved his hands to quieten the bickering teachers. "Regardless, the situation calls on us to take actions. I'm sure everyone within this room is aware of the incident that saw student Uzumaki become an overnight star." Nezu said in expectation.

All the teachers nodded. Who could not know about that?. The boy had gone and killed two people, if they didn't know about it they would be being a bit too useless.

"Don't be deceive by the reaction of the public. Most of Japan may think that Naruto is a hero, but those at the top of society are deeply concerned about this. They want an explanation." Nezu said.

The teacher's eyes lit in realization. JHA. It was surely them. Only they would be powerful enough to directly question the UA in such a manner and demand an 'explanation'. Many of the teachers scowled. Those geezers were getting antsy to the point they wanted to intervene?. Didn't they understand the implications of them directly taking action?. If they were truly concerned then it would be smart to let the UA and the police handle this. It was better to keep it in the 'big world'. If they centralized this too much then... Some teachers shivered at the thought.

That was an outcome nobody wanted.

"It appears they are quite frustrated by student Uzumaki's tendencies. I believe they will begin to take action themselves. They claim we haven't done a near decent job of teaching Naruto restraint and believe their officials could do better than us–." Nezu said, even before he could finish Power Loader smashed his heavy metallic fists into the table in anger.

Boom!

A loud crashing noise echoed.

"Those old bastards!. When the kid was in a bad spot they tossed him to us. Now they've seen his potential they want to take him off our hands!." Power Loader growled. It was clear for all to see what the JHA was doing. They kept track of Naruto's progress, and the boy's growth in the UA had been alarming to say the least. Now they felt he was 'ready' they wanted to pull him back in. The incident yesterday was nothing but an excuse to take their student away.

"Calm yourself Power Loader." Cementoss placed a hand on the evacuation hero placatingly. Though his face didn't mirror it he shared Power Loader's anger. He had contributed a lot into grooming young Naruto and had formed a bond with him just like the rest of the students he'd instructed. Now external parties wanted to take advantage of all they had done and take away such an important student in their school. No teacher or school worker would be happy about this.

"It's as Power Loader said. The incident yesterday is just an excuse to get custody of Naruto." Nezu said. The teachers frowned at his words. Truly the JHA knew how to operate. What a magnificent bunch, they thought sarcastically. "Be at ease though. It won't be that easy. Not every member of the board is in agreement with this decision." Nezu said.

The staff member's faces brightened significantly. "Ah, so we still have a fighting chance." Thirteen said in relief.

"If I may ask, principal, just who are the members who are against it?." A beautiful red eyed woman seated on one of the chairs designated for senior class teachers asked. All the other teachers perked up at her words. They too wanted to know just who was on their side.

"Naturally, Elder East is against it." Nezu said with a smile. The staff members chuckled in amusement. Good old Elder East always came through for them.

"That old goat loves Naruto-kun like he was his very own grandson. Of course he would be against it." Recovery Girl nodded in approval. It was essential for a person with Naruto's status that he had a few of the board members on his side, if not the who knew what those heartless people would use him to do.

"The Yaoyorozu clan are firmly behind us along with a few others." Nezu said. The staff shared a brief moment of smiles. It felt good to know they weren't alone in their fight. Having the support of an elder and a clan was barely sufficient to fight the whole board, but they greatly appreciated it. "Without a doubt our very own Central Elder would be against it too, unfortunately she's not present." Nezu sighed.

He didn't know how to feel about the woman. The few times she was present she managed always win their awe and respect, but instantly lost it with her numerous escapades. She was supposed to be their shield yet she left for vacations at random and left them unprotected. If not for the stubbornness of Elder East and the support they had they would've been crushed to fine dust by the JHA board by now.

"Ah Yaoyorozu-san, how is his family doing now?." Ectoplasm asked with a look of concern. It was the man's daughter that was almost killed after all. Even though he was still on their side, no doubt he was greatly displeased with their inability to protect his child. It was their careless action to suspend school without prior notice that led to Yaoyorozu Momo's attempted assassination. The girl's father would not be happy with them right now, and though he didn't let that influence his decision it didn't mean they were forgiven.

"His daughter is recovering. The police brought her in safely and she's recuperating. His is understandably very upset with us. We basically offered his daughter on a silver platter to his competitors." Nezu. The room went silent. They understood that they had messed up. It was their unanimous decision to close school early and it blew up in their face. Now one of their biggest supporters was at odds with them and rightly so. It would take a long time to get the trust and respect of the Yaoyorozu family back.

Midnight narrowed her eyes at the principal's words. Something else he said caught her attention. 'We basically offered his daughter on a silver platter to his competitors'.

"Principal Nezu, do you mean it was a member of the JHA that attacked Yaoyorozu's daughter?." The woman asked. Everyone's expression darkened. Without a doubt that was what it sounded like.

"That is correct." Nezu nodded. "The Yaoyorozu family has their suspicions, however nothing is confirmed yet. We can't pull our resources into investigating the board as of now. All we can do right now is locate student Uzumaki. The boy somehow managed to escape police custody after handing Yaoyorozu Momo over and is at large once more." Nezu said in a slightly raspy voice.

He coughed and cleared his throat. This was the reason his patience was running thin. This boy just couldn't stay at a place. He was always out causing trouble any way he knew. Every second Naruto was unaccounted another incident was in danger of happening. The boy attracted trouble and more often than not he managed to escape without a scratch and left the aftermath of his actions for someone else to handle.

"So that's why those four aren't here~." Present Mic said in realization.

"Yeah, if it's them then finding Naruto will only be a matter of time." Vlad King said. The occupants of the room felt reassured knowing those four were out searching for the troublesome blonde.

"Don't underestimate Naruto's cunningness. Those four might be powerful enough to restrain him, but hiding is one of Naruto's strong points." Snipe said.

"That is true." Present Mic conceded. "But don't forget it's Aizawa's point too. Also that brat's homeroom teacher knows him the best, so if anyone can find him it's him."

"Kakashi-san huh. I guess it's only fitting that he is the one to bring Uzumaki in. This whole thing started from with his incompetence after all." Ectoplasm said.

"Ara don't be so harsh on him." Midnight giggled.

"That guy is really something. Still can't believe he gave reading that disgusting book as an excuse for not realizing earlier that Uzumaki was missing." Vlad King facepalmed.

"Come to think of it Midnight, didn't you gift him that book on his birthday?." Thirteen placed a finger on the lower side of her helmet and asked.

(AN: I'm making Thirteen a woman. Never seemed masculine to me, and I'm pretty sure most readers didn't even know Thirteen is a dude.)

"I did not!." Midnight denied.

"Haha I bet Gai would be completely lost!." Power Loader laughed.

"He'll probably follow Kakashi as usual so don't count on it." Cementoss said with a shake of his head.

"Principal." Recovery Girl spoke up. Unlike the rest of the room her voice didn't sound cheerful. It sounded rather gloomy. The scarred mouse turned to face her. "Did the JHA send in people as well?." She asked. When she saw the principal's expression turned dark, she signed. She thought as much. "Who?."

"A couple groups of silver stars." Nezu started.

"Silver stars?." Present Mic snorted. "That won't be nearly enough to hold that kid. Are the JHA trying to get themselves embarrassed or what?."

"They probably think he's still the kid they sent to us." Power Loader said.

"They have no idea how much Naruto has changed. I feel bad for those silvers" Thirteen snickered.

The strength of their prized student had already reached a terrifying high. If the JHA board thought silver star agents were enough to suppress the blonde then they would be in for a huge disappointment. That kid wasn't ordinary, thus extraordinary means were required to hold him.

"Who's leading them?." Snipe asked. He too felt it was foolhardy to send in messily silver agents to capture Naruto. He would make quick work of that agents of that caliber and he wasn't confident he could put up much of q fight against Naruto. The blonde was just like what his classmates described him as. A combat monster. Very difficult to fight and even more difficult to contain. Those silver stars wouldn't know what hit them. Still, Snipe was skeptical that the JHA were that foolish. Surely they kept tabs on the boy, so they would have an idea how powerful he was. Sending in silver stars in light of that sounded a little too careless for them.

"That was what I was going to say before you all interrupted me." Nezu said. Present Mic and Power Loader blushed in embarrassment. "They sent in sixty three silver agents and put Tenzo in charge of them." Nezu revealed with a solemn expression.

"S-sixty three agents?!." Present Mic's eyes almost bulged out of his glasses.

Midnight's face paled somewhat. Her eyes were already filled with worry for their student. "That's nine groups. Isn't that a little too much?." she muttered.

"And fucking Boogeyman Tenzo?. Have the board gone crazy?. They're going so far to catch a single teenager?." Vlad King said in astonishment. Who didn't know who Tenzo was, of his reputation?. The board really went so far to send in such a person to capture Naruto back.

"I get that Naruto isn't a regular teenage boy but for Kami's sake... Tenzo?." The red eyed woman cupped her chin in thought. She couldn't fathom what the board was thinking to send in such a top agent just for one boy.

"Goes to show how badly they want him back." The man sitting by her side said. He rolled the cigarette in his mouth and blew out a cloud of smoke. The red eyed woman covered her nose with a hand and glared angrily at him. The man shrugged.

"I hope Allmight and the rest gets to him first. I believe in the boy, but Tenzo..." Cementoss sighed.

"We should do something!." Power Loader rose to his feet and said in urgency. Hound Dog barked in agreement. "We can't let Uzumaki face sixty three agents and Tenzo alone!. We have to help him!." he declared. Many of the staff nodded in agreement. They had a look on their eyes that said they would rush out to do just that if the principal gave the nod.

"I'm happy you want to help, but I beg you all to stay calm and think about this rationally." Nezu cautioned. Power Loader clenched his fists in frustration but lowered himself back to his seat. "We already sent in our strongest four, as it stands UA's defense is already quite low. This is the first time I've sent out more than two of those four at the same time, and it was mainly because of my concern for student Uzumaki. We can't afford to over commit to protecting one student and leave the others at jeopardy." Nezu said.

The burning desire of the staff soon quelled with his words. Many were still frustrated but had to swallow their emotions and obey. They too understood the danger of leaving the UA unprotected. For the safety of their students they had to remain within this building.

"We have to trust those four can return student Uzumaki to us." Nezu said.

The staff members nodded. They had the utmost confidence in their strongest four. If it was them, then even the JHA would be hard pressed to snatch Naruto. After all... Could anyone one of them stand up to Allmight?.

9pm

Allmight felt defeated. He never thought searching for a single teenager could prove to be so difficult. The buff hero held his chin in thought as he walked through a street. He made sure to stay in his normal form so as to conserve as much energy as he could. Allmight suspected that he would have to fight someone today, so it was best to take precautions.

'I wonder if it'll be an elder...' Allmight wondered. The situation didn't require the presence of an elder, however the mind could still wonder. Could it not?. Allmight clicked his tongue with a shake of his head. If he were in his prime he wouldn't feel much concern for having to fight an elder. That wasn't to say he could easily win, the elders were plenty strong. Even the newest one was a monster in his own right.

Back then Allmight at least had the assurance that he wouldn't gas out mid fight. He didn't have to worry about his stamina or his injury, he could just fight you his heart content. Now, he had to be careful with how he fought. He couldn't wildly throw blows with a respiratory system this bungled up, nor could he his like he used to.

All round Allmight's combat power had gone down, both due to his injury and his advancement on the years. He wasn't as young and vibrant as he once was. The fire in him wasn't burning as strongly as a decade ago. Now that he had now passed on One-For-All, it became literal. Everyday he could feel himself getting weaker. He wasn't close to tapped out yet. Against most villains he hardly needed to use a noticeable fraction of his power. It was different with the elders. If he had to fight an elder then there would undoubtedly be cause for concern.

All of them were significant threats to him. He knew it would come one day, and he tried to prepare himself for the worst but truly, watching himself getting weaker wasn't a nice experience. Back in the day there were only two elders he felt truly pressured by.

The East and Central Elders.

Speaking of which he hadn't done anything about what Elder East had told him about two days ago. The issue of Izuku accessing a [Jump Gate] with their quirk signature was a very serious one. Allmight could think of several regrettable ends it could lead to at the top of his head. For starters if it got to anybody that a person with a different DNA and fingerprint from him accessed a [Jump Gate] with his quirk signature, then it would bring an unwanted level of attention to his quirk.

As far as the public knew Allmight's quirk was a simple enhancer quirk. The nature of the quirk was obvious for all to see, but it's true identity remained a quirk. Whenever Allmight was asked about his quirk during interviews he always found a way to dodge the question or gave a vague answer. The world didn't pressure him too much. They loved a hero with an element of mystery.

It was the same for the people of the 'real world'. Even to the movers and shakers of high class society the history of Allmight's quirk remained a secret. They weren't as agreeable as the public and tried to put pressure on him to spill, but their efforts were in vain in the end.

Within the entire JHA, only one person knew about his quirk and that was Elder East. The man knew of One-For-All years before Allmight even got into the picture as his master's successor. He had a long history and deep friendship with the old man, that stood strong despite the difference in their views and association.

Allmight walked across a line of stores and casually looked around for anyone with standout blonde hair that wasn't him. The caught the sight of a store owner laughing along with a group of costumers. His mind was drawn back to the store massacre in Hachiōji. His successor Izuku was connected to that as well.

Allmight had thought about it since then and it didn't feel like a coincidence to him. Izuku meeting Naruto may have been pure accident, but a killer with a connection with Naruto being on the loose at the same time was a little too suspicious in his opinion.

The more he thought about it, the more suspicious he got. The time Izuku's entry into the virtual world he met Naruto in according to [Logs] was during school hours. He wasn't present as he went to pay a visit to Elder East, so he hadn't noticed until he saw the log sheet for himself. Allmight knew his successor quite well. He spent eight months studying the boy's personality and traits, so he knew Izuku was not the type to skip school. Especially a hero school.

It didn't make sense that a hardworking and serious student like Izuku would be loitering outside during school hours. Unless something made him to. Allmight was convinced somehow Izuku had been lured to that [Jump Gate] he used.

[Notes]. It had to be. It wouldn't be the first time the JHA had used morsels of information to lure promising individuals to their web. Allmight was left to wonder what had brought the attention of JHA to Izuku. Until it hit him. It was peculiar the place [Notes] had led Izuku to. On regular cases the app would lead the user to places they could get in touch with the 'real world'. It would expose the secrets of the world to the curious users and lead them to the answers they wanted. [Jump Gate] would appear to be one of those sort of places, however there lay a different in it that none of those places possessed. To access a virtual world and the secrets within it, the user had to be a registered JHA candidate.

The JHA didn't merely let anyone they found interesting enter their consideration for possible members. There was a process that they followed strictly. Promising people were put on a period of watch, allowing [Notes] to fester whatever emotion in their hearts drove them towards the JHA. After that period of time, the candidates are decided based on their performance. [Notes] keeps a record of all their actions during the probationary period a calculates their merits and demerits. If their merit curve eclipses the demerit curve they are granted a candidate status. [Notes] would direct them to a registration portal. This was normally where the candidates had their interaction with an agent from the JHA.

The candidates would remain on the consideration list for an extended period of time up until it was decided whether or not they would become proper members. This decision was handled by the JHA personnels unlike the first test that was mechanically scored.

Allmight and Elder East had assumed the JHA had been stalking Izuku for quite a while, up until today after he met with Elder East to 'review' the [Logs]. The man pulled a few strings and called in a favor from an old friend and managed to change information in [Logs] to make it clear to others that he was without a doubt the person who had accessed the [Jump Gate].

It was only this morning that Allmight realised that that was partly a wasted effort. Speaking of Izuku using a [Jump Gate] again. If Izuku had accessed it under his serial number, then that meant he didn't possess his own. Even though they shared a quirk signature [Logs] would not highlight it. It only recorded and sorted information, it didn't analyze it at all. If Izuku had been stalked by the JHA long enough to access a [Jump Gate] then that meant he was already a candidate. But according to [Logs] he wasn't. It was a unanimous brain fart on the Allmight's and Elder East's part not to realize something so painfully obvious.

At first Allmight thought Izuku's run-in with Naruto was a mere coincidence. [Notes] could lead candidates to a [Jump Gate] but they designated where they wanted to travel to. That element of freedom of choice was retained by the candidates, as a way of portraying the trust the JHA had in them. They granted candidates a minor responsibility to gauge their value. Allmight had thought Izuku mistakenly jumped himself to the virtual world Naruto was in. However, thinking about it now that didn't make any sense. Izuku required his serial number, meaning he wasn't a candidate.

This meant he hadn't been registered thus wouldn't have been given a introduction to the 'real world' and [Jump Gate], yet Izuku conveniently ran into one, accessed it and jumped to the same location as Naruto.

It was too convenient. Izuku surely had no clue how to operate a [Jump Gate] yet he managed to use one?. Allmight sensed elements of foul play in this 'coincidence'. To the number one hero it was clear that someone had led the unsuspecting Izuku to a [Jump Gate] and tricked him into accessing it, then designated his jump location to the virtual world Naruto was in.

Allmight's face had turned extremely gloomy the moment he arrived at that conclusion this morning. If what he was suspecting was true then it meant two things. The first was that someone, possibly a person connected to whoever was responsible for the Hachiōji store incident, wanted Naruto and Izuku to meet. Allmight couldn't figure out motivation for this person's action, but he felt in his gut that whatever the reason it wasn't a good one.

The second thing Allmight realized was that the person, whoever they were, likely knew about One-For-All. It was possible for a person with a spatial type quirk to change or set the location of a [Jump Gate] once it was activated. However activating it could not be forced.

Only through a serial number could a [Jump Gate] be activated. Yet, this person used [Notes] to lead Izuku to a [Jump Gate] knowing perfectly well that he didn't have a serial number, and still trusting that he would somehow access the [Jump Gate]. It made the conclusion obvious.

The person knew Izuku could, because they knew he had Allmight's quirk signature. Somebody else in the JHA knew the secret behind One-For-All.

Bzzzz

The buzzing sound of a radio interrupted Allmight's thoughts. The lanky man tapped the receiver in his ear. "I'm here."

'Ah, that's an unenthusiastic 'I am here' if I've ever had on. Comrade Allmight you don't sound your usual spunky and bubbly self!.' A voice that could only belong described as 'too enthusiastic' reverberated.

Allmight sighed. Normally he was one of the most acceptable people towards the man eccentric nature, but at the moment he found himself getting a little ticked off by it. He didn't let it govern his actions though and maintained a friendly tone. "I'm fine Gai. I just have a lot on my mind."

'I see!. So even the number one hero can feel under the weather sometimes. This show of humanity has made me an even bigger fan of you comrade Allmight!.'

Allmight sweatdropped. What a character this guy was. He had never seen the man down, ever. Allmight wondered if that was how other people saw him. If it was then that would explain why Aizawa amongst others greatly disliked him, because this was just plain annoying. "Thank you Gai. Did you call for a reason?."

'Ah, almost forgot, my bad.' The man said with a laugh. 'It's hard to keep track of what I'm saying when I'm talking to my idol hahahaha.'

Allmight facepalmed. "Gai. Please. Why did you radio me?."

'That is because my greatest rival has found our missing student of course!.' Gai responded.

Allmight's eyes shone in relief. As expected it was the boy's homeroom teacher that found him first. In the end no other teacher knew Naruto better than him. "Thank goodness." Allmight said.

'Woah now, don't get ahead of yourself now my idol. It's not all good news.'

Allmight's face fell. "What happened to Naruto-shounen?." he asked in a serious voice.

'Calm down, nothing unfortunate has happened to our cherished student. Ah, perhaps that's the wrong phrase. Actually something did happen, but not in the wa–'

"SPEAK!." Allmight snapped in anger. In his burst of rage he hadn't even realized when he channeled One-For-All. His clothes strained to hold in his large bulging muscles. The two large bangs of his hair stood on their ends like antennas. The powered up form of the terror of villains was revealed.

Luckily for Allmight he had made it to a lonely side of the street so nobody could see him transform or his outburst.

'...' The speaker stayed silent a moment. When he spoke again the emotions were drained from his voice and he spoke in a flat calm tone. 'Apologies. We found Uzumaki-san in a virtual world the north side of town. Unfortunately the JHA's people got to him first. It wasn't as we feared, and just like Kakashi had said, our boy was up for the task. No. He was more than up for it.'

Allmight's expression turned solemn. "You mean..."

A tall man dressed in all black walked through a devastated road. The man looked around the place with a gloomy sigh. This was supposed to be a 'punk' themed city, with a lot of graffitied walls, makeshift stages, rock related statues and other along with posters of iconic rockstars.

That was what it was supposed to be. It looked like a war zone instead.

The man looked down on a large shard of glass presumably from a car's windshield. His face was revealed to be masked and his eyes were droopy. Eyes that hardly gave away his true feelings. This time it they did.

Dread.

The man quietly made his way through the road. There were strewn out bodies of men dressed in white suits spread across the road. Blood flooded the roads and stained the walls. Hardly a single spot of this area was left untouched. Buildings had been collapsed and smashed to several pieces, the asphalt was decimated like it was made of glass. The windows of buildings and cars had been smashed to tiny bit and melted. The trees were burned and the grass was scorched.

It was like stepping on a roadway to hell. The atmosphere itself was gloomy. The air was thick and filled with carbon monoxide, smoke billowed out of several parts of the desolated city. The destruction looked fresh, and the charred sides of the unfortunate city were still warm.

He wasn't late by much. But still too late.

Shrrrkkk Shrrkk

The masked man looked up. Sparks of electricity were going across the very sky. The space around that area of the sky distorted for a few moments before settling back down.

The man clicked his tongue. "This place is about collapsing on itself." The man said.

He continued to walk. The further he went the more frequently he ran into the bodies of the men in white suits. Some were whole while others were not. Some had been particularly mangled up, missing a good chunk of their bodies, their hands, their legs or both, head or a part of it. A majority had burn marks all over their bodies, some were burnt to crisp while others incinerated down to their bones.

The smell pungent smell of burnt human flesh was thick in the air. The man was thankful he wore a mask. Around this area the buildings were scarce, mostly because they had been wiped out by the fierce battle that took place in this virtual world. What was left were barely recognizable structures, with a number of them that were on fire or burned down to ruins. The man had to hop over the puddles of blood mixed with varieties of shredded internal organs as he went on. There was a particular figure with a heart laying in the middle of it.

Finally, he arrived at his destination. The very middle of the horrific scene. A teenage blonde haired boy laid unconscious in a wide and deep crater at the center of it all. The destruction in this area was the most severe. There was practically nothing left standing in a 20 meter radius around the blonde. A spiderweb of cracks ran across the ground, and everything within this place had been burnt either to ashes or beyond recognition.

The boy appeared to be sleeping. Within this war zone he was able to lay down comfortably and snoozed without a care in the world. Nothing mattered to him. The destruction he had rendered upon this virtual world, the dead bodies that had been flung around the ruined city, the burnt and devastated land. They meant little to the one sleeping in the core of it all. While the city continued to burn he didn't care. As the space slowly dismantled, threatening to swallow everything in this place he still slept like a baby.

The nine charred bodies around him seemed to surround him protectively as he slept. Slob dribbled down his chin and he snored away.

The masked man glanced at the teenager and shook his head. To actually fall asleep in a collapsing virtual world. To leave himself defenseless to any possible hostiles. To do all that he did here and still fill at ease to take a nap right in the scene. Perhaps in world nobody was more comfortable around violence and destruction than the eighteen year old lying in front of him. In this hell he was like a chick in its mother's nest. He was at home.

"Wake up Naruto." The masked man said in an even voice. The blonde haired teen's eyes fluttered open. Raven eyes stared into golden eyes. The mask man gestured at the destruction behind him. "You've made a mess again."

End.
