Angela who had come out of her shell around Lena a little more since meeting her at the start of their History class smiled at the girl, "I'll let you borrow my notes, so you can catch up in History and English."
Lena smiled at her "thanks Angela, I appreciate that a lot." Lauren smiled slightly happy to see the shy brunette come out of her shell a little bit with a new face.
French went by rather quickly. It wasn't hard for Lena to catch up with the rest of the class, being a Legacy of Aphrodite, made speaking French since it was the language of love easier for her. Mrs. Adamson was surprised at how easily Lena caught up, to be starting halfway through the semester.
Nothing interesting or difficult happened in English either so that class went by quickly as well, and after that Angela and Lena met back up with Lauren and the trio were on their way to the cafeteria. Lena also agreed to let Angela run the cover story for the paper about her once she learned that Angela was on the school paper. Angela was grateful to have something new to run the feature on.
After school was over Angela was going to take the photos and give Lena her History and English notes to help her get caught up.
Lauren smirked at Lena "oh Jess is going to love you, from what I've learned about you so far, you'll get along great with her, and the four of us need to go shopping together like your sense of style is just impeccable and I've only seen you in the one outfit."
Lena grinned, "well I can't wait to meet her and yes, I am so down for a shopping trip." They walked into the cafeteria making everyone look at them. Lena had her head held high as she spoke with Lauren and Angela.
Bella had an envious glare on her face at all the attention Lena was getting when they all should be looking at her instead.
The trio went through the line and got their food and Lauren led Lena to their regular table. Letting her sit beside Jessica even though that was normally her seat, Lauren sat on the other side of Lena.
She gave a distasteful look at the brunette sitting across from Jessica, "Jess who is this?" Angela sat down beside Bella across from Lena.
Jessica looked at Lauren, "Isabella Swan, chief Swan's daughter," then she looked at Lena and "who might you be?"
Lena smiled at the perky brunette, "Yelena Dwyer, you can call me Lena though, I just know that we're going to be great friends."
Lauren smirked, "yep Lena is going to fit right in with us Jess."
Isabella looked at the blonde, "it's just Bella." She had a smug look on her face noticing the way the three boys were paying attention to her and not her stupid stepsister.
That was when Lauren noticed that Mike, Eric, and Tyler were all staring at the dull brunette like she was something special... She rolled her eyes. Lena, she could understand if their attention was on her because she was gorgeous but the brunette was plain and dull. "Well just Bella, I'd wipe that smug look off your face, because I run the social scene here in this school and honey you just aren't it."
Bella scoffed, looking offended of course she thought, she was important, that she deserved everyone's attention on her. Lena let out a bark of laughter before she fist-bumped Lauren "that was a good one."
Isabella glared at Lena, "no one asked you."
Lena rolled her eyes, "it's a free country sweetheart, I can say whatever the hell I want, whenever the hell I want... and your stick thin little ass can't do shit about it."
Jessica smirked at the blonde beside her, she liked her already. She had also noticed the way Mike was looking at Isabella and since she had a crush on Mike, she wasn't liking the brunette all that much... Isabella was only sitting with them because Mike had invited her.
After that, all the attention was drawn to the doors where the Cullens entered, in pairs, "who are they?" Isabella asked, her eyes were drawn to the inhumanly beautiful people and she immediately wanted to know everything about them.
Angela being the nice person that she is answered her question, "The Cullens."
Jessica rolled her eyes she may not like the girl all that much she was the school gossip for a reason, she leaned her elbows on the table, "Doctor and Mrs. Cullen's foster
kids. They all moved down here from Alaska two years ago."
Lena just listened to what the girls were saying about the family, wanting to find out what she could about them but not to the obsessive degree that Isabella did, she just wanted to know exactly what she was dealing with, " They kinda keep to themselves."
"Because they're all together. Like, together together. The blonde girl, Rosalie, and the big dark-haired guy, Emmett..." she nodded towards them, "... they're a thing. I'm not even sure that's legal."
Lena took in the information as Lauren gave the perky brunette gossip a look "Jess, really?"
She shrugged as Angela have her friend a look "Jess, they're not actually related."
Jessica gave them both a look "But they live together. And the little dark-haired girl, Alice, she's really weird..." then she once again motioned to them with her, head " she's with Jasper, the blond who looks like he's in pain. I mean, Dr. Cullen's like this foster dad slash matchmaker."
"Maybe he'll adopt me." Angela joked.
Bella unnoticeably rolled her eyes, she really didn't care about all of that, she was more concerned about figuring out how she was going to get the Cullen's to adore her like everyone should in her eyes. And then she saw the last one walk in alone and smirked to herself, that was her way in, "Who's he?"
"That's Edward Cullen," Lauren said in a bored tone, she didn't really care about him, something about him gave her the creeps so she steered clear of him unless she couldn't.
Lena rolled her eyes seeing the look in Isabella's eyes, she had seen it before and that did not end well for the brunette, three families in their old neighborhood had a restraining order against the brunette now.
Edward looked toward them, his eyes locking with Bella's, and his eyes widened and he had a slightly confused look on his face, but Bella was enamored with him already but she quickly looked away from him and back at Jessica as she spoke again, "He's totally gorgeous, obviously. But apparently, no one here is good enough for him. Like I care. Anyway, don't waste your time. "
Bella shook her head, "I wasn't planning on it." even though she totally was planning to get him to worship the ground she walked on. The dull brunette snuck another look at Edward only to find him outright staring at her, making her smirk to herself this was going to be so much easier than she thought.
Lena just rolled her eyes and muttered "that's not going to end well," to Lauren, Jessica who also heard her and gave her a curious look.
Lauren looked at her "what do you mean Lena?"
"I know that look in her eye, I've seen it before, and it ended with three different guys in our old neighborhood with restraining orders against her."
Lauren snorted "really?"
Lena nodded "yeah... she's crazy, under all that shy girl, act she does."
Jessica looked at her "wait that's an act?"
"Yeah, the awkward and clumsy thing is real but she revels in any kind of attention she gets from anyone." Lena rolled her eyes "I don't see the appeal personally but obviously there are people that do." she was speaking quietly to the two girls, ignoring Isabella while they finished their lunch.
The bell rang dismissing them and Lena walked out of the cafeteria with, Jessica, Lauren, and Angela. Jessica stopped at her locker and grabbed her stuff for her class which was different than the other three, they said goodbye to Jess and headed to their own lockers to get their things for Biology and then Angela and Lauren led Lena to class.
The two took their seats while Lena spoke to Mr. Molina, who took her slip and gave her the books she would need for class, "Ms. Dwyer you can have a seat next to Ms. Cullen." then he looked at the pixie-like vampire, "Ms. Cullen please raise your hand." Alice did as asked and Lena made her way to her seat.
She gave the vampire a tight smile, she really did not want to get wrapped up in vampire drama, that was the last thing she needed right now. "Hi, I'm Alice, and we are going to be great friends, I just know it."
"Hi, Yelena, and I guess we'll see about that won't we." and then Bella walked in behind Mike, and spoke to Mr. Molina, but she stopped right in front of the fan which blew her scent directly at Edward and Lena noticed the way he tensed up staring at Isabella and she wanted to scream, because she knew that Bella was going to unintentionally drag her into this mess, because from what she remembered from her grandfather's lessons on Cold Ones that reaction meant that Bella was a blood-singer and Edward's by the looks of it.
The blonde refrained from screaming and disrupting class since she couldn't explain why she did it to anyone.
Alice made small talk with Lena during class, from her visions she already liked the blonde and knew that Lena and Rosalie would be best friends which meant she was going to be around them.
Lena glanced over at her new friends who both just shrugged at her, Alice was the most approachable of the Cullens but she still rarely spoke to anyone that wasn't in her family. The blonde witch sighed lowly, this was going to be an interesting year that was sure.
Once class was over Edward shot out of there like a bat out of hell, leaving Bella frowning and confused she thought this was going to be easy but from that reaction she feared she might be wrong.
Lena walked out of class with her two new friends, Alice just smiled as she walked out of the classroom. The first vision she had of Yelena was her meeting Rosalie in PE and that was about to happen.
Lena dropped her stuff off in her locker, and looked at Lauren, "I'll see you after PE, and then thank god there is only one more class left after that."
Lauren laughed "yeah you'll like Mrs. Holland she's really chill... but good luck in PE."
Lena laughed as they went their separate ways, she had been shown where the gym was earlier so she pretty much knew where to go. She walked into the gym and spoke to Coach Clapp who said she could sit out the first class since they didn't have a uniform for her yet.
Lena didn't mind all that much any way she dropped down on the bleachers beside Rosalie Hale, who gave her a look of disdain but from what she had heard about the new blonde was that she was the more tolerable one of the new girls.
Lena took notice of the girl beside her and sighed to herself, of course, it was one of the vampires, "Hi, I'm Yelena, though you probably already know that."
"Rosalie Hale," then the blonde vampire gave the girl's outfit a once over and noticed that it was actually decent, "I like your outfit."
Lena smiled at her fellow blonde "Thank you," she took note that Rosalie wasn't dressed in gym uniform either, "I like yours too."
The blonde vampire looked at Lena and decided that she wasn't so bad but she would never actually admit that out loud she did have a reputation to uphold after all. Lena was also cautious of the blonde vampire well around all of them to be fair, but wouldn't do anything unless they actually posed a threat to her, since they were golden-eyed ones which meant they did feed from people, and though Lena wouldn't judge for that... it was their source of sustenance who was she to judge them for doing what was needed for their survival?
The two blondes spoke briefly throughout the class period just to have something to do and Rosalie learned that she and Lena had a few common interests which she filed away in her mind for if she need it later.
The bell rang and everyone filed out of the gym and Lena headed to her locker which Lauren was meeting her at since they had Art together as the last class of the day and then Lena was meeting up with Angela so they could shoot the photos for the feature and so the dark hair girl could lend Lena her notes, so she could study them to get caught up with everyone else since it was the middle of the semester.
Lauren was at her locker which coincidentally was beside Lena's which is why she said she would meet her there. Lena put in her combination and opened her locker, the blonde beside her smiled "so how way PE Lena?"
Lena smiled back at her "it was alright, coach Clapp, let me sit out today since I didn't have a uniform yet, and I kind of made a friend like there's potential there but we'll just have to wait and see how it goes."
"Ohhh and who is?"
"Rosalie Hale."
Lauren laughed "wow, two Cullens spoke to you in one day? That has to be some kind of record, they usually don't associate with anyone outside of their little family."
Lena shrugged, she didn't know why they were making an effort to talk to her but if they were kind of friends then she wouldn't really have to worry about them. "Well, I guess that I just have that effect on people."
Lauren smirked "I knew there was a reason that I liked you, you're a lot like me." Lena laughed as they walked to their last class.
Lauren was right about one thing Mrs. Holland by far was one of Lena's favorite teachers with Mrs. Adamson coming in a close second. Lena was asked to introduce herself to the class which she did with a smile, "HI everyone, I'm Yelena but you can call me Lena if you would like and I absolutely adore Art, my favorite style is Greek style art with Greek Mythology ties."
"Very nice, Ms. Dwyer, you can have a seat next to Ms, Mallory, since you seem to be getting along nicely."
Lena took her seat and Lauren looked at her "really that's interesting because Greek style art is in my top five of favorite art styles."
Lena laughed lightly "yeah well I'm a little biased on it though because my mom's side of the family is Greek so I spent a lot of summers in Greece growing up."
"That's so cool." the rest of the class passed rather quickly and before they knew it the bell rang dismissing class, they cleaned up their stations, before they packed their things up and walked out of the classroom.
"So how was your first day at Forks High?" Lauren asked as they walked to their lockers.
"Not bad... went better than I expected honestly." at her locker Lena grabbed her stuff and Lauren walked with Lena to where she was meeting Angela in the classroom where they hold the photography club/school paper meetings.
After they arrived Lauren looked at Angela, "I will leave our new friend in your very capable hands, Ang," then she turned to Lena, "and I will see you tomorrow Lena."
Lena nodded at her "see you tomorrow Lauren." the other blonde left Angela and Lena alone, and the shy brunette smiled.
"All right so I was thinking that we do a couple of headshots and see which one turns out the best and that is the one we'll use."
"Sounds good to me." Angela nodded at her and they got everything into position and Angela took the photos and then two girls looked through them and picked the one they liked the best and that was the one they were going to use for the feature in the school paper the next day, Angela also asked Lena a few questions for the feature.
Lena happily answered the questions and then Angela let her borrow her notes just liek she said she would and the two girls walked out of the school together making small talk and getting to know each other a little better.
Lena walk with Angela to her car and then headed to her own car, as she fished her keys out of her bag, she finally found them and unlocked her car climbing into the driver's seat, she breathed in the scent of a new car and still couldn't believe that her dad had gotten her the car that she wanted.
She started the car and pulled up the message she had from Charlie telling her how to get to the diner they were eating at and then she pulled out of the parking lot of the school.

So what do we think about maybe giving Lauren a Volturi and or a vampire mate as well, I'm thinking Demitri personally XD (if it's a Volturi mate that is) other suggestions are welcome though (: just the fact that it would piss Bella off that much more if I did that, which I am always down to do in this book, really makes me want to do it that much more XD.
Lena and Lauren are one of my fav duos to write in this book already, also Lena and Rosalie will be another one once they become friends that is.
