A/N: So I know I said no chapter this week, but I needed something to do procrastinate from packing. I was looking for a chance to insert these mini chapters. "No. They left an hour ago."
"They didn't stay very long."
"Two weeks is pretty lengthy for them."

"…Are you still in town?"
"I am."
"…Are you busy?"
"Nothing I can't drop."

"Do you… did you want me to come over?"

"…Mai?"
"…Um, yeah… Come over."
"Okay. I'll be a bit though, I have some things to finish up here."
"If you're busy it's no big deal, you don't have to come over."
"No, no. Not busy, just… I started something that I have to clean up."

"It'll be nice to see you again. You know, at a time when I'm not dying and you're not trying to attack me."
