Darkness. That was what he could perceive. Sightless, weightless, lightless, colorless... he felt so weak, his body was drained, it didn't help that the air was very dense, a very dangerous sensation creeping through his whole body.

He couldn't remember the last time he was this drained, or in this type of situation.

No, that was wrong. he... couldn't remember... anything. Who was he? Where'd he come from...?

As he tried to remember, before he felt pain sear his mind, causing him to stop that train of thought.

After stopping, he realized what he could remember (even if minorly), a woman with auburn brown hair and eyes, he could feel a tenderness, like she was something very important... then the few that were clear enough weren't human, he could see it, a ninja frog and a little mouse with a hat too big for it. He felt a calling, like they were very serious partners. Everything else was enraptured in darkness.

After settling for floating in the Darkness in listless, something washed over, a intense feeling, it felt like he was being judged intensely, like he did something wrong. But there was something about it that was... almost soothing. The feeling was seemingly patient, kind, gentle even.

As his eyes cracked open, he only saw a soft yet noticeable light, the figure was too blur to still, but it was definitely a Pokémon, quadruped, he could place what it was because of his eyesight and the light was just bright enough that visibility wasn't clear enough.

"Chosen One... One of several that reside within thou era... thy beseech thee for assistance." A female voice echoed through his mind.

That's when he noticed, a Rotom Phone, except it lack a Rotom. As the shining Pokémon acknowledged it, the phone was enveloped in a similar light, before transforming. With what strength he could muster, he reached out to grasp it, as the glow died down. Pulling his hand revealed a device that was very unlike what it was before, instead of a Rotom Phone, it was a strange phone, white in color, resembling the shape of the creature before him. The final part of it that was notable, was the golden 'x' at each corner, each point connected to an arc, making for a circle with a bottom or top visible.

The blinding entity voiced once more, "Thy Arc Phone shalt guide thee... if thee wisheth to meet once more, uncover all Pokémon. Until then... fare thee well..."

As its figure faded, the light with it, leaving him in darkness once more.

As the darkness consumed him once more, the "Arc Phone" begun to beep, as a glow emanated from it, similar to the semi-circular arcs of the phone, glancing at the screen. The fatigued teen head a robotic voice, "Thy partners are scatter, a small in number from thou era... seek them out..."

As the phone flashed, he felt it, like a force was dragging him, as he fell, bracing for the unseen impact, he closed his eyes. That's he noticed it, light, unlike the previous light, this was flashing dangerously, almost scarily unstable.

As he felt a chill rake through his body, he shuddered, before the light consumed his sight, before blacking out.

Many people often slept at this in the newly established, village, bar a few night owl hard at work with constructing the slightly new Jubilife Village, mainly people and the few Pokémon present that work with people.

One of them being a man dressed in a black kimono with a brown coat resting on his shoulders, a coat made of a rather soft material that came from a Pokémon. He had brown hair that seem well-kept, along with a mustache that seemed rather bushy at the ends.

Commander Kamado Rowan of the Galaxy Expedition Team as he was referred to, was staring at a crack in the sky that spawned recently, it was near the training fields. His expression was largely unreadable, his eyes seemed to analyze this new one. The stern, naturally intimidating look he had on only grew tense as he saw something falling from it, before the cracks faded.

He glanced back, one of his Pokémon, an eagle-like Pokémon with what resembled eyes above real ones, flaming violently with pink energy. He ordered, "Braviary! Check Prelude Beach, find out what fell from the rift! Go!"

The Bird crawled mightily, before taking off into the night air.

Professor Laventon was regarded as an expert in the field, and even known to be making a regional Pokédex for the Hisui region. But... the professor was sadly known for being more than a little clumsy.

... and showing difficulty with his Pokémon. They had disappeared on him when he fell asleep when working on a new entry for the Pokédex. He hoped they were fine, no matter how long it takes to find them.

He was floating again, sort of, the weightless feeling was gone now, and he wanted rest. But a tap on his face, caused him to stir slightly, but he resettled. What a mistake because he was getting tapped more repetitively. Even fatigue, his eyes fluttered open, exhaustion evident, turning his head to glance around, taking in the sight of an otter with a shell and a blue and yellow mouse with squinted eyes.

As he rose, he grimaced, despite the stiffness in his joints, and his muscles aching from exhaustion, he felt relief, the tension receding slightly. Letting out a breath, he was now sat up, glancing around in confusion.

His attention was grabbed by something landing on his head, glancing up, he found an owlet, resting on his head in contentment.

The another breath, he lumbered to his feet, feeling pops and cracks, as he felt parts of his body stretch, before relaxing as he stretched for a few moments. Finally getting the creaks out of his neck, he glanced around, curious.

"Where-!?" He tried to talk, between getting into a coughing fit, his throat dry and strained.

As the mouse and otter looked at him in concern. A squawk came from the air, as Kamado's Braviary flew over head, before taking off towards the village.

"There you three are!" The starters jumped, nearly taking off, before stopping. Professor Laventon stopped a few feet away from the teen, panting.

Laventon greeted, "I've been looking all three of those Pokémon for a good while now, but I'm more surprised how they're acting with you... how'd you get here?"

The teen gave a saddened look, he could remember how he ended up in this place. Seeing his look, Laventon asked, his excited and curious expression falling, "Do you know where you are? Or any relatives here?" His expression fell even more with the teen shaking his head. "Do you know your name...? Or even where you originated from?"

The teen paused, trying to remember, before flinching at the sudden jolt of pain that hit. Catching himself, he croaked, "no..." his voice low, and cracking, before suppress painful coughs.

Laventon gave a sad look at him, "Well, I guess your in a bad spot right now. It seems that you're a good Pokémon Wielder... you do know what a Pokémon is, right?"

Now that question was something he knew, as he nodded positively. Professor Laventon smiled brightly, as he voiced, "That's splendiferous, alright then, I want you to come with me then... huh?" Noticing the Starter Pokémon were gone, he cried, "Not again!" As he nearly took off, asking the boy, "Do you mind helping me catch them?"

Despite the problems, he nodded, eager to assist. Laventon finally called, "Alright! I'm coming my darlings!" As he took off in a blitz.

The teen took off at a slower pace, before he noticed a shining object. Kneeling down to it, he brushed off the sand, before pulling the phone he saw previously out, glancing at it. He paused, as text typed itself out, "Find them all, and then seek me out, Chosen One." Before it displayed a map, showing the Teen where to go.

Notes:

Just saying it here and now, this is Ash, after whatever happens in Journeys. So keep that in mind.

Second, keep in mind, I am writing Ash at the start of his journey essentially, amnesia withstanding. He won't be remembering anything, just echoes of the experiences or feelings.

Now the Pokémon, keep in mind that Ash's prior journeys are being used, no released partners, except one (depends on if he really rejoins Ash's team by the air of one of the newer episodes, you should know who I'm referring to).

Now, there will be only one (two, sort of) character who'll appear that was in previous journeys, and he is already in the game.

I will be altering the story slightly, especially with the few Pokémon on Ash's team that will be present, so stay tune.

Tell me how I did, Ciao.
