AC: Hello everyone and welcome back for more one piece. This time is Chopper's birthday.
Dusk: Happy Birthday little dude.
Eclipse: Happy Birthday cutie.
AC: Now let's start the story.
"What are you reading?"
"A book."
"About what?"
"About different medicine, Clarity."
Clarity, in her deer form, giggles as she stares at Chopper. The little reindeer is leaning against her, reading a medical book. She found it adorable how he likes to lean on her when he get the chance, said he found her comforting.
"You like reading this stuff, huh sweetheart?" Chopper nods.
"Yes I do. I'm a doctor and it's kind of my job." Clarity smile fondly.
"An adorable and wonderful doctor you are." Soon those words left her mouth, Chopper started doing his little weird dance.
"You're just saying that, you bastard." The coral furred deer roll her eyes fondly, shaking her head. She always found his dance funny but cute. If you give him compliments or gifts then there are a chance he does that dance of his. That's one of the things she likes about him.
Speaking of gifts…
"Hey Chopper?" The reindeer stop his dance and look up at Clarity.
"Yes?"
"I got something for you."
Chopper tilts his head, curiosity in his eyes "what is it?" The shape shifter smirks at the devil fruit user.
"You want to know?" A nod was her answer "well you have to close your eyes. I don't want to spoil the surprise." The little doctor pouts for a bit before closing his eyes. It was quiet around them other than the sound of his crew mates. He paid it no mind but he is curious about Clarity's surprise.
Suddenly, he felt something placed on his book "okay open them." Opening his eyes, he looks down to see a snow globe with a white tree inside surrounded by snow. He gasps in awe, picking up the snow globe before shaking it. He watches the snow flurry around. He was so captivated that he noticed the grin on her face.
"So do you like the gift?" Blinking his eyes, he looked up at Clarity. He stares, processing her words before speaking.
"Yeah I like it." He then frowns "but why?"
"Because I want to sweetie. You deserve it for your special day." Chopper smiled.
"Thank you, Clarity." Clarity smiles before leaning down, nuzzling her nose against his.
"You're welcome and happy birthday."
Chopper is reading a book, sitting inside the library. He has a look of concentration on his face as he studies everything in the book, taking notes as well.
This is his first year away from the others, and there's not one day where they're not in his mind. He's been studying different plants that can help him along with training his devil fruit powers. He want to get stronger before he reunite with them, he want to help his friends and his captain so if they get seriously hurt, he'll be there. He won't be weak not when they need him.
As he taking notes, a butterfly flew in the room before landing on his hat. It stays on the rim, looking down. The butterfly's antenna twitches for a moment before flying off. It then landed on the book; which caught the reindeer's attention. He looked up and turns his head to see a butterfly with coral wings, staring at him.
"Hello there." Putting down his pen, he reaches out and gently lift the bug "how you get in here?" The butterfly flutters its wings. He chuckle "I don't know what that means." The butterfly then crawl up his arm and to his shoulder before staying there "you're very friendly." Suddenly, from the corner of his eye, he sees an object on the book. Turning his head, he raise an eyebrow before picking it up to reveal a crystallize leaf. He stares at it in awe, watching how the light catch made it shimmer until the same butterfly lands on it.
"Did you put this here, little friend?" The butterfly giggles catching Chopper off guard before speaking in a high pitch voice.
"Happy birthday, Chopper."
"Huh?" In a flash of light, the butterfly disappears, leaving no trace that it was there. Chopper blinks his eyes in confusion. Many questions ran through his head. Did the butterfly just talked? How it knows his name? And why does the color look familiar? Only who have that color is…
His eyes widen in shock before slowly smiling. He looks down at his gift. A single tear escape his eye as he laugh "thank you, Clarity."
"Hello cutie pie."
Chopper looks up to see Clarity, staring at him with a smile on her face. Her hair flying with the wind; which make her even pretty. He smiles, blushing a bit "I'm not cute damnit." Next to him, Usopp and Luffy chuckled, finding it amusing.
Clarity roll her eyes behind the mask "uh huh." Fixing her hair, she bends down a bit "can you come with me for a sec? I need your help with something." Chopper tilts his head.
"With what?"
"I was looking for my journal and I can't find it." She smiles sheepishly "can you help find it, sweetie?"
"Okay I'll help you." He said, hopping off the railing and putting down the fishing rod "let's go find it."
"Thank you so much." Clarity stood up and follow the little reindeer but not without winking at the two, causing them to grin.
"You sure it was here?" Chopper asks. The duo is in the library, searching for the missing journal.
"Yes I'm sure it's here." Clarity looks under the desk before standing up.
Chopper sighs "well it's not here… maybe you left it in the aquarium bar." Clarity hums. It was quiet as Chopper look around until he was picked up by the women who grin.
"I just remember it is in the aquarium. Come on let's go." Holding him tight, she closes her eyes before disappearing and reappearing the aquarium. She opens her eyes and giggles as Chopper look out of it "still not used to it huh?"
"Never again." A giggle is his response as he was put down on the couch. Shaking his head, he turns around "now let's see if we can…"
He stop mid-sentence when he see Clarity holding her journal, a huge grin on her face "what the-"
"Found it." The reindeer frowns.
"Clarity."
"Chopper."
"Was it here the whole time?" Her grin grew bigger.
"Nope." She said popping the p "I had it with me the whole time." She snickered at doctor's expression.
"Are you kidding me?" She laughs "why you lead us on the goose chase then?" The coral haired women grin even before pointing at the glass behind him. Feeling curious, he turns around and gasps.
Inside the aquarium, a water dragon is staring at the little doctor. It blinks its blue eyes before smiling. Suddenly, as if it was transparent, the dragon came out changing from water to something pink. Once it was fully out, the dragon flew around the room as Chopper watches it in awe. Clarity watches him before snapping her fingers. Right after she did that, the dragon roars then burst into petals. The petals scattered across the room as Chopper watch before catching one.
Clarity's eyes follow the petals until she heard a sniffle. She turns her head to see Chopper silently crying. A soft smile graces her face as she walked over to him. Putting down her journal, she picks him up and hugs him a bit then kisses his cheek "you like it, sweetheart?" He nods.
"It reminds me of the doctors." He looks up and smiles "thank you so much, Clarity."
Said women gave him another kiss "you're welcome Chopper, and happy birthday."
AC: I did good on this one.
Eclipse: Plus the ending is nice.
