Chapter CLXXXII: The Insect Infested Jungle, The Foggy Promise And Monstrous Abomination
Return To The Radiant Gardens Part XXIV
RUMBLE!
As the clock tower behind them continued to crumble and fall apart, the band of successful heroes who managed to win the fight against the sinister samurai Gandrake. Proceeded to make their swift escape, they were all focused upon returning to Merlin's house that was somewhere within the darkness.
Looking back as they made some considerable distance, Riku then saw finally the terrible building collapse. As the loud clanging and tumbles of metal sounded, with the stones making dust fly out everywhere... he was only too glad to see it disappear! However as he turned his attentions back to look forwards, he couldn't help but confess his worried thoughts, "I hope the others are doing okay!"
To which Leon hearing the white haired keyblader responded, "I don't think you have to worry about that, Riku!" Surprised to hear this from the Gunblade warrior, Riku turned his attentions back to him and as he did so, he heard his comrade go on to say, "If you've succeeded here, the others will undoubtedly win their own fights I'm sure!"
Riku hearing this, was quiet. However he revealed a smile, glad for the reassurance and so replied, "Thanks Leon, I hope so..."
However Alania running beside them couldn't help but admit, "I don't think it'll be that easy."
Surprised to hear her say this, Riku turned his own turquoise eyes to look at her and as he did, he asked, "What do you mean?"
With that Alania explained, "... Because Musashi hasn't been the only one who was brain washed."
Shocked as he heard this running on her other side, the long brown haired samurai asked her, "I wasn't!?"
Shaking her head, Alania explained, "No... they snatched up my sister Shirma... and I think even everyone else too."
Shocked as he heard this, Riku couldn't help but echo out, "No...!"
"Oh darn!" Musashi said dismayed, as he did so he continued on to say, "I didn't even realise it was that bad!" Then he had to add, "I don't even remember that spell being cast on me, or what happened with the others, I mean-!"
"Well it was bad!"
Turning his head as he heard this, Musashi saw that it was none other than Noel. Seeing him on his right side as he continued to run on too, the blue clad warrior continued on to say, "You were a real force to be reckoned with!" With that Noel turned his blue eyes in the white haired keyblader's direction, as he did so he added, "If it wasn't for Riku destroying that stone that was maintaining the spell..." with that he turned his gaze back to the samurai, "At that moment I would've been wiped out by your Great Oar!"
As this was said, Musashi was quiet... then as the realisation settled into him about what they were really up against. He then had to admit, "Wow... it really is that bad dude!"
Riku hearing this was quiet, he couldn't argue with those words. If Irma had gained control of Shirma and the others... who knew who else she'd been able to ensnare in her power. However he wanted to remain positive and so, he said determined, "I still believe in the others!" Hearing him say this, his comrades turned their attentions to the white haired keyblader. As they did, he added, "I know they'll pull through! We already have so far..." with that he added, becoming fierce as he spied Gandrake who they continued to pull with them, "And Irma's nothing compared to the nightmares we've faced before!"
However Gandrake hearing this, didn't reply. His eyes were downcast...seeing this Riku turned his face away and as he did so, he decided to add, "We will win and get the Radiant Gardens back! You can be sure of that!"
To which immediately his comrades nodded to his words, all of them agreeing to his words. For they were all certain despite the darkness and the demons, along with the heartless waiting for them... they would all succeed!
However Gandrake who continued to be dragged on from behind, said under his breath sinisterly, "Don't be so sure..."

Walking on forwards quietly and cautiously, through the dark tunnel they were both within. Mickey looking around himself, had no idea where he or his partner Fran were going... however he knew what would be coming up would be difficult. For Irma was devious and extremely dangerous now with the book of Bebuzzu making his power go rampant throughout the streets of the once fair city, so he knew he had to be prepared and ready, for anything!
However looking to the right of himself, he couldn't help but wonder. How did Fran feel about all of this?
For the stoic rabbit earred woman, since the departure from all their friends. Hadn't said a word to him, about anything that was going on. Or even any questions... though when he looked up to her, she did seem to be thinking deeply.
Seeing this, Mickey looking at her as they continued to walk on together. Then decided that maybe it was time for a conversation, "Um, Fran?"
Hearing her name being uttered, the rabbit earred woman turned her eyes down to look at the mouse king. As she did so, she said nothing as she gazed down at him.
As she did this, Mickey was unsure of how to continue the beginning of this talk... but he decided to say the first thing that was on his mind, "... How do ya feel about all this?"
To which as this question was asked, the rabbit earred woman repeated in a curious tone, "Feel about all this?"
Seeing that she hadn't got the gist of what he was trying to say, Mickey explained his question a little more, "Um? I mean about this fight with Irma... are you nervous at all about facin' her or her cronies?"
As this was explained to her... Fran turned her eyes away from Mickey and back ahead onto the darkened path, doing so she replied, "...Not in the slightest."
Surprised as she said this, Mickey had to ask her, "Really? Yer not?"
To which, Fran replied simply, "No," then saying that she decided to add, "For like any pest..." with that she drew her bow out and doing so, an arrow appeared almost in seconds! Shocked by this, Mickey stood back immediately and heard the rabbit earred woman go on to say, "It needs to be eliminated!" With that she released the arrow and-!
SCREECH!
In merely seconds beyond a bestial cry bellowed out! As ti did so, Mickey was spooked! Looking down the corridor he couldn't help but cry out, "What the heck was-!?"
"We shall see," Fran replied, then in seconds she took off running!
As she did so, Mickey seeing her go leaving him behind cried out, "Hey! Fran wait up there!" With that he ran straight after her, to see what it was she had struck down!

It was only maybe a minute or so later, but finally both the rabbit warrior and mouse king came to the end of the tunnel and made it into the light of the new arena that had been prepared for them both.
Looking around them, as they entered into this new sea of...unexpected shining light, both Fran and Mickey came seemingly into a huge overgrown, "Jungle?" The king asked.
For there all round them, were huge tall climbing plants with giant leaves surrounding them both. As they did so, looking around and feeling some of the greenery that came under his stroking fingertips, Mickey then asked walking along the brown earth, "Gosh... what a wonder here!"
"Not one without it's dangers," Fran responded.
Hearing her say these words, Mickey looked to her. As he did so, he then saw that the rabbit earred woman had found what it was she had shot down. Looking on, Mickey then saw in shock the monstrous prize.
It was an enormous insect! It had two huge orange pincers over it's mouth and it looked like it even had sharp teeth within it's jaws. It had four pairs of long hairy legs, peaking out from the edge of it's green shell and it's exposed up turned chest was strong toned, making it look muscular. It was a haunting sight and Mickey was just glad that he and Fran had not had to face it when it was still running around.
He was quiet and unsure of what to say... Fran seeing this herself, then had to ask as she looked to the mouse king, "... Are you becoming fretful of the foe we are to face?"
Surprised as this was put to him, Mickey quickly turning to her uttered, "Huh? What?" Then as he saw Fran staring at him. It finally registered in the mouse king's ears of what she had just said, as it did so he felt a little awkward replying, with a slight chuckle, "Oh! Ha ha! Oh no, there Fran it's just, uh?"
"It's just what?" Fran asked, putting her question to him. Not understanding what he was trying to say.
As she asked him to be more precise in his answer... Mickey then stopped his awkward actions and so looking to the insect. He was honest as he replied, "I guess... I wasn't prepared for big bugs like this."
Quiet as this was said to her, Fran then had to ask him, "Are you fearful of insects then?"
Becoming quickly surprised as this was asked of him, Mickey then after a paused moment revealed to her becoming slightly bashful, "... Well I don't like them." But he did decide to say, for he didn't want his comrade to get the wrong idea, "But that doesn't mean I won't face them! I mean I've faced way worse than critters like this before! Cause I mean, I've faced-!"
"RRROOOAAARRRGGGHHH!"
Spooked immediately to hear this frightful bellow, Mickey turned just as Fran did! As the mouse king did so, he cried out, "Hey!? Was that-!?"
"A stampede!" Fran informed the shocked keyblader.
Looking to her, Mickey then repeated, "A stampede!?"
With a single nod, Fran informed him, "Correct," then looking ahead, she added, "And I suggest we don't stay to meet with it's numbers!" With that she started running and as she did so, she looked to the kind and told him, "Come now!"
Seeing her run, Mickey at that moment was not going to argue with her and so hurriedly replied, "Right! Okay I'm coming!" With that the mouse king was running on his way to catch up to the fleeing rabbit earred woman!

Leaping from leaf to leaf through the air, with a pistol in hand the dark clad mariachi man known by the name of Juan was busy making some distance! As he raced panicked amongst the vibrant greenery he uttered hurriedly to himself, "Date prisa! Date prisa! Date prisa!" For he desperately had to get away from-!
RRROOOAAARRRGGGHHH!
Feeling a terrible chill go down his back, he recognised where that terrifying roar was coming from! He had to move faster! So pushing himself forwards as much as he could, he then uttered, "I'm not gonna be no buggy chow!" Then looking behind himself he added leaping quickly, "C'mon Poncho!"
To which his faithful pal and pink coloured Axolotl partner, flying behind him followed on hurriedly too! Then quickly both gunner and pink creature made it to the inside of a white flower head! Quiet catching his breath as he tried to recover himself from the adrenalin rush he raced himself into, Poncho stared on at him quietly not uttering a word. Juan couldn't help but wipe a bead of sweat from his forehead, "Wow...! That was some trip there amigo!" For then taking a moment to peak his brown eyes from within the flowerhead, he looked down to see what monstrosities were flying through the air, he couldn't help but continue on to say, "...This rescue mission is turning out to be one heck of doozy!" Then as he said those words-!
RRROOOAAARRRGGGHHH!
Immediately in seconds he saw below, a swarm of ferocious and horrific looking insects fly down all of them holding sharp teeth and many pairs of sharp hairy legs. All of them looked thirsty for blood! As he saw them, he was silent however as he remained that way he couldn't help but remember what had led him being in that world and situation...

"HA! HA! HA! HA! HA!"
Angered and running forwards, Alania looking furiously in the direction she could hear this manic laughter, she cried out mad, "Irma!"
However she didn't answer her calls and continued to cackle away. As she did so, Alania pushed herself to move forwards and as she did so, she cried out, "Give us back our friends!"
Hearing her cry this out, Juan himself was running on behind her along with their fellow 'ARC' Hana. Seeing her cry this out, it was clear she was pained and this made Hana terribly worried for her as she uttered, "Alania..."
Juan looking to his fellow 'ARC' too was just as worried. For since all three had got lost in the fog of darkness along with their other friends, trying to retrieve Oralee at Snow's insistence. They'd lost track of nearly all of their friends now and-!
"Ha! Still chasing your tails are ya!?"
Immediately hearing these words, Juan recognised this voice as, "Greeble?" Then as he asked that-!
"What!?"
Hearing her cry this out, Juan looked before him and-!
"AGH!"
"Whoa!?"
CRASH!
Suddenly he had smacked right into Alania's back as she had suddenly ground to a halt! Then as this occurred the two of them collided straight into the ground, making an unsightly heap on the floor.
Seeing this happen, as she caught up to them both Hana looking down to her friends asked terribly worried, "Guys! Are you both alright?!"
"Yeah are you!?" Came the call from her faithful robin friend, Ruby.
To which hearing her concerned voice, Juan answered aching and seeing stars, "Urgh... I think I'm in a jacuzzi estrellado..." to which, Poncho hearing him floated around and around his head in an aimless circle...
Not in the mood for this nonsense from him or his pet, Alania shoving his useless form off of herself, told him mad, "Juan get off of me!" With that quickly escaping his weight, she turned over and looked again to see, that there standing just some feet away. There her adoptive sister was, "Shirma!"
Shocked to hear this, Hana asked seeing the pink haired girl asked, "Shirma?" Ruby too was just as amazed as he stared on in surprise.
For there the white mage of the group was, her head bowed and with her hands at her sides. Standing absolutely still, almost like a statue...
Juan hearing these cries broke out of his concussive state and as he did so, he saw the girl himself. However looking to his fellow 'ARC' he raised his eyebrows curious. However after a few moments, his eyes narrowed as a suspicious look entered his eyes.
But Alania overcome with emotion wasn't thinking of these things, instead rushing towards her dear adoptive sibling she cried out, "Shirma! Thank goodness you're safe! I thought you were-!"
FLASH!
"Agh!"
Suddenly in seconds she was thrown back by a powerful transparent domed shield spell that barred her from Shirma, making her body sent flying through the air!
Shocked to see this, Hana cried out, "Alania!?"
"Oh no!?" Cried out Ruby! His wings over his beak!
"Alania señorita!?" In seconds getting up and running forwards, Juan raced forwards and immediately-!
"Oomph!"
He caught the young girl in his arms! As he did so, Alania feeling him catch her, opened her clenched shut eyes. As she did so... her eyes widened, looking back to her adoptive sister she uttered out, "Shirma...? Why would you-?"
"Upset are you?"
In seconds Greeble's voice spoke out again. As it did so, immediately the three 'ARCS' were all on guard! As they became so, they were quiet as the voice spoke on again.
"Well you'll have to forgive our slaves for being so rough!"
Shocked immediately hearing this one noun, Hana couldn't help but repeat, "Slaves...?"
"That's right pretty lady!"
As this voice spoke up, immediately Juan knew who it was and uttered mad, "Peekaboo!"
"They're are ours now! Ready and waitin' to do anythin' that we wish!"
Horrified as she heard this, Alania then cried out in dismay, "No! That can't be true! There's no way you could-!"
"Oh but we can!"
With that as Greeble's voice spoke out again!
CRUNCH!
In seconds, arriving on the scene having seemingly flown out of nowhere came in none other than, "Musashi!?" Hana cried out!
For there before them all was the long ponytailed samurai, however his eyes were dark and lifeless. Then as all the 'ARCS' saw their comrade look at them in this way, in seconds shocking them all he withdrew his katana, aiming it in their direction showing that he was ready to engage in battle with them!
Seeing this, Juan a little taken aback then tried to be reasonable as he told his pal, "Hey! Musashi amigo! Don't be drawing that... you don't wanna be splitin' our hairs do ya?"
"HA! HA! HA! HA! HA!"
As this laughter rang out, it was clear that this voice was Peekaboo's! Hearing him, all of the heroes then heard him continue on to say,
"Oh I'm afraid he does ya dummies!"
Then in seconds, Musashi ran forwards and went to strike down one of his former comrades! Seeing this, all at once all three 'ARCS' went to to jump out of the way!
SLASH!
"He's gonna slice and dice you all up like lamb chops!"
"Mmm... lamb chops!"
In seconds as he missed them, Alania still being carried in Juan's cried out again desperate, "Musashi! Stop this!" Then as she said this, she looked to Shirma and in seconds, the white mage took out her own staff. She was ready to battle them too, as she looked on with the same lifeless dark eyes as the samurai.
Seeing this, she then cried out quickly to her, "Shirma c'mon! Snap out of it! You mustn't-!"
SLASH!
However again, Musashi came slicing at her and Juan as he carried her.
The mariachi black attired man seeing this, then could see how desperate thing's were becoming! As he did so, he then uttered, "Tch! There's no choice is there!?" With that he spun around and placed Alania back on the floor, as they evaded again.
Feeling him do this, Alania perplexed demanded, "What're you-!"
"This is is no time for pointless charla!"
With that as Juan cried this out, he pulled out a certain something from his pockets. Seeing him do this, Hana then had to ask him, "Juan what're you-!?"
"We're gonna play our own game!" With that taking up his own pistol, he informed them all, "Of hide and seek!"
Confused as he said this, Alania then saw that Juan had revealed a golden bullet, with a smoky grey cap on top of it. As he did so, she demanded, "Just what the heck are you-!"
However ignoring her protests, Juan inserted the bullet into his pistol and in seconds as he did so he fired it and-!
POOM!
In seconds the space they were all within, was filled up with pale grey smoke making everything practically hidden away in a heavy grey smog!
"Oi! You cheating chumps!"
"That's not fair! Ya can't make thick pea soup fog like this! It ain't tasty at all!"
Coughing loudly as this fog suddenly came around them all, Hana cried out, "Hey! What's going on!?" Then looking around herself she couldn't see any traces of any of her comrades!
"I don't know, Hanahime!? I'll look!" Then quickly flying around not getting too far away from his highness, he looked around desperately! However quickly flying back he had to tell her, "I can't find them anywhere!"
Hearing and seeing this she was horribly worried as she uttered, "No..." however again she cried out, "Juan! Alania! Where are you!? What's-!"
"Don't ya worry! Hana señorita!"
Immediately hearing the gunner's voice, Hana cried out again, "Juan what's happening! Why've you-!?"
"I needed to make it tough for 'em to find us! We need to split up now!"
Shocked hearing this, Hana cried out, "What!?" For she couldn't understand this course of action!
Ruby didn't either as he also cried out, "But why though!? Why-!?"
"Because some of us can't deal with one of our pals in this kinda state!"
Shocked to hear this, Hana became quiet as did Ruby. However she and him quickly understood what Juan meant... he was saying that because of Alania. For she couldn't fight against someone so dear to her, like her only sister.
As he said this, the girl in question looking to him couldn't believe he was saying this! But Juan himself keeping his face turned away from Alania, continued on to say in an apologetic tone,"I'm sorry ta send ya on yer own like this... but it's better now for us to do it this way." Then saying this he had to ask his friend, "Do you think ya can cope?"
Hearing him ask this of her, Hana quiet for a moment then informed him, "Yeah I'll be fine! You guys just take care!" With those words, in seconds she took off! But before leaving entirely she went on to say with strong belief, "I know we will all meet again!"
"Yeah!" Ruby added, then as he did so, he decided to add, "Just don't be stupid out there Juan!"
"You're darn tootin' I won't! Plus we'll meet up faster than a set of Dragon Balls!"
Not understanding the slightest what he meant at that last sentence, Hana though revealed a small smile. Then as she did so, she rushed off into the clouds of white smog. Doing so, she told her dear companion, "C'mon Ruby let's go!" With that he nodded and the two of them were off!
Hearing her friend's footsteps vanish, Alania looking to Juan was quiet. For what was he doing? What was-?
"Alania señorita" Hearing him state her name in an unusual serious tone for himself, Juan then informed her, "I'll save your sis, Shirma."
"You'll what?" She asked him baffled.
"I'll get her back for you," then looking back in the direction where he thought of the white mage to be, he added revealing a smile trying to make the situation not so heavy and serious, "And I promise she'll be back in mint condition! No scratches on her!"
Surprised as she heard this from him, Alania quiet for a second then had to ask of him, "But why you?! I'm her sister! I should be the one to-!"
"Because I know you wouldn't wanna fight her, not like this..." With that drawing his pistols out he added, "But I can! I'll get her back for you from those creeps!" Then with a grin he added looking to her with his keen grin, "And I know for sure, you can smack some sense into Musashi's head again right?"
Quiet as she heard this... Alania looking into the smog, she felt she could see something that resembled the brainwashed samurai. As she did so, she became determined herself! As she became like this, she drew out her own red long wand and told him, "You can bet I will!" However looking back to Juan she added, "And you better keep your word! Not a scratch right!"
With a single nod, Juan responded, "Right!"
"Okay! See ya later you hobo!" With that Alania took off running into the smog!
Smiling as he heard this, Juan turned his head to look in the direction he was supposed to head to. However as he did so, he realised what Alania had said and in seconds he shouted out in the direction he thought she'd run to, "HEY! I'M NOT A HOBO!"

Thinking of that memory with some grimace as the bugs all finally passed by... Juan sighed. As he did so, he looked to his pal Axolotl and had to ask him honestly, "Poncho amigo... why do people always think of me as a maldito hobo?"
Poncho though didn't answer this question, as he stared on into space quietly...
Seeing that he wasn't going to get any answers, Juan shrugged his shoulders. Doing so, he then thought about the matter that was at hand. Peaking out of the white flower again, he then uttered, "...Okay, well we better get our precious Shirma señorita back! So we should-!"
However stopping in his tracks, he looked below and becoming wide eyed he saw that something big was beginning to happen down below!

Running fast some distance, both Fran and Mickey were at a dead end before a giant tree trunk! Seeing this and looking back behind themselves, both warriors saw the bugs coming towards them and fast! Their horrible red glowing eyes fixed upon both of them!
Seeing the monstrosities, Fran was absolutely displeased as she uttered, "These pests are a nuisance!"
"I can't disagree with ya there Fran!" however looking around himself hurriedly he knew they both had to move, "But we can't stand here chattering about it! We gotta make tracks or-!"
Then saying those words, he finally noticed looking to his right that there was some crawling vines, seeing them he knew it was there elevator up! So looking quickly back to the rabbit earred woman he informed her, "Fran quick climb up!" With that the mouse king began hurriedly to just that!
Turning and seeing Mickey make his exit, Fran quiet though knew they couldn't dawdle! So instantly she jumped up and started climbing herself! Then as they both began making some distance into the air-!
"RRROOOAAARRRGGGHHH!"
SNAP! SNAP! SNAP!
The insects below them both, were all jumping up trying to get at them with their terrible sharp pincers and teeth!
However climbing fast both of them reached higher and higher into the lines of leaves and vines. As they did so, finally they came up to a good enough resting spot!
Looking down at the furious horde of bugs, Mickey wiping a bead of sweat off of his forehead then said, "Wowsers! That could have been close!"
Fran hearing him say this, said nothing in reply. However turning her head up, she saw something that made her eyes narrow with anger as she then informed him, "But thing's are about to become more troublesome!"
"Huh?" However as Mickey uttered this, he didn't have time to make a proper question for then-!
"So you losers finally decided to join us, huh?"
Turning his eyes, Mickey then saw what Fran had spied. There flying down to them upon the back of an enormous blue dragonfly, it was none other than, "Greeble! Peekaboo!"
Seeing that they'd got their foes attention, the peppermint green bird then informed the shocked mouse, "In the flesh, rodent!"
"Yeah!" Peekaboo concurred, then doing so he added, "With snack's included!" With that he took out a bag of potato chips and started munching away!

Seeing who was there below him, Juan amazed cried out, "Mickey!?" Then looking on. He saw the strange female bow wielding warrior who was with him, curious he had to ask, "Who's that conejo señorita?" For he had never seen someone like that before?
However quickly seeing who'd come onto the scene, he couldn't help but utter out with fierce dislike, "Greeble and Peekaboo!" With that staring down at them hatefully, he couldn't help but ask, "What are those pájaros diabólicos up to!?" With those words uttered he then watched on closely!
Doing so, he couldn't help but add, "Poncho we gotta keep a keen eye on here...! Thing's could be getting' real tricky real soon!" However the axolotl uttered nothing as he stared on aimlessly down with his buddy Juan...

Looking at the two sinister birds with angered eyes, Mickey not in the mood for these shenanigans then demanded out of the two of them, "Just what're you guys think you're doing?!"
"Doing?" Greeble asked, then as he did this. He smiled a little more and added sinisterly, "Putting you and your..." with that looking to Fran who looked back with a glare, then finished saying, "Bunny girl in your place that's what!"
Peekaboo nodding as he chomped on his potato chips then added, "Yeah!" Then reaching into his rucksack, he pulled out a particular green item, "Using this!"
Quiet as he saw the object, Mickey was quiet. However quickly he was shocked as he realised what it was! "Hey that's a-!?"
FLASH!
Suddenly in seconds, a holographic image shone out from the item! As it did so, suddenly there looking bewildered beyond all reason was-!
"Yuffie!?" Mickey cried out! For there before himself and Fran, was the dark haired legendary female ninja!
The girl herself looking on to see him, looked panicked and tried to cry something out! However no sound came from her lips, as she looked on with terrible desperation!

"Yuffie señorita!?" Seeing his Committee pal in this horrible dilemma being a victim of a Magi Metamorphosis gem. He knew he had to act!
Turning to his side, he said hugely determined, "Poncho amigo!" With that quickly climbing out of his flowerhead, he went on to say, "We gotta go and salva el día!"
Hearing this, Poncho continued to say nothing. However he followed after Juan to assist him in whatever fast paced plan he'd thought of!

Seeing Yuffie like this, Mickey instantly tried to reach his hand out to her! However in seconds, Yuffie's image was retracted and dismissed way as she re-entered the green stone!
As this happened, Greeble taking the stone from Peekaboo's pink feathered fingers, then used his other wing to wag mockingly saying, "Uh! Uh! This little beauty isn't for you dolts to have!" Then placing it before himself, he began to activate it's power as he went on to say, "She's ours!"
Mickey hearing this, was then about to shout out when-!
"No she's not!"
Shocked, in seconds the two heroes and sinister chocobo's looked up! Then there swooping in towards them was none other than, "Juan!?" Mickey cried out!
For there swinging towards them, was the Mariachi gunner hanging onto a loose vine! As he came riding down he cried out, "I'll get you both! You pollos fritos!" With that he pulled out his guns and began firing, holding the vine with his legs!
BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!
"AAAGGGHHH!"
Trying to avoid these dangerous shots as they came raining down, Peekaboo cried out, "Hey! Whoa! Who called in this party pooper!?"
Annoyed as he hopped up and around upon their dragonfly, Greeble replied, "I don't know!" But becoming bitter he added, "But I'll put him in his place!" With that he lifted up his finger feathers and-!
SNAP!
In seconds as he did this, Juan swinging around wasn't impressed by this act as he told the peppermint green bird, "You're not gonna win here!" With that taking aim for the final shots he was going on to say, "You're-!"
RRROOOAAARRRGGGHHH!
Shocked as this bellow came out, Juan cried out, "Hey what's-!?" Suddenly in moment's he was lifted up high into the air! "Whoa!"
Seeing this happen, Mickey was completely baffled at what was going on!? Then suddenly he saw, "Oh no! Juan!?"
Suddenly the impulsive gunner saw to his horror, that the vine he thought he'd been holding onto, was actually the long tail of a green creepy caterpillar! It stared down at him with angered narrowed red eyes!
Scared out of his mind, Juan went to let go but-!?
"AGH!"
Suddenly he was wrapped up tightly around his middle by the tail, making it coil into something like a spring! As he was, becoming squeezed tightly by this terrible binding living length he had no idea what to do!? But then-!
"WWWAAAGGGHHH!"
Immediately he was unfurled and thrown away by the monster! Seeing him fly, waving about helplessly in the air, Peekaboo clapped his pink wing's together! Then becoming hugely pleased he cried out, "Ha! Now that's what I call 'wrapped up!'" However seeing Juan sail through the air he decided, "Now it's my turn!"
SNAP!
Then as this happened-!?
"BBBZZZ!"
"AAAGGGHHH!"
GULP!
In horror, Fran and Mickey saw the Mariachi gunner be swallowed up by a big flying bug! It buzzed madly as it flew up above them in the air! Flapping it's wing's fast!
Seeing this, the mouse king cried out, "Juan!?"
FLASH!
"Help me!"
Immediately from within the insects behind, it became transparent and glowed brightly showing that he was alive but trapped as he banged and leaped around in his transparent glowing cell, demanding to be released! "I don't wanna be buggy chow like this!"
As she saw him in this state, Fran displeased, then lifted up her bow! Doing so, she went to take aim as she added with fierce focus, "Very well then... I will grant your request!" With that she went to release her arrow!
"Oh you don't have time for that!"
SHINE!
Feeling this radiance of green light, Fran turned her head immediately, however Mickey cried out, "No! Greeble don't do that! Don't use the-!?"
"We summon thee!"
"We summon thee!"
Shocked to hear both Greeble and Peekaboo make the incantation Mickey couldn't help but utter, "What the heck are-!?"
"You who are the emperor of the skies!"
"Come and make us your ties!"
Fran looking on was curiosity. Wondered what they were going to do? What were these birds-!?
"Give us blows that singe and burn!"
"And a gaze as cold as ice!"
Then as the two birds continued on their chant, the magic of the green gem surrounded both of their bodies! As it did so, they then uttered the last words of their spell as it reached it's climax!
"Adrammelech! Give us your wings!"
FLASH!
A white light then blasted out everywhere blinding both Mickey and Fran! The rabbit earred woman, not understanding this flow of magic cried out, "What is this!? What is this atrocious-!?"
Stopped dead in her tracks though, she and the mouse king quickly saw what had emerged from the light of magic that had been invoked!
There before both of them, was a huge bird! However, it was two headed with long necks peaking out of it's large body! One side was clearly that of Greeble's but he was painted blue with a terrible ice cold glare and the other head was Peekaboo's who was fierce red and fiery, revealing flaming feathers!
Their form was bound with heavy chains and their torso's feathers were almost metallic like a suit of armour, but their talons were clearly sharp and dangerous! For then taking the blue dragonfly they'd both been sitting upon, no more than a few moments ago. They gripped their talons tightly and-!
SCREECH!
In moments it was turned to dust, making it fade away into nothingness! This chilled both warriors!
However seeing the effect both monstrous chocobo's had now caused, they smiled sinisterly as Greeble commented, "Oh look they're petrified... how delightful!"
"Yeah it is!" Then in seconds, saying those words the gem that had caused their change flew up and attached itself to their middle, upon the centre of black coloured belt! Then as this occurred, a pale glowing light escaped from the green gem and flew up high into the air!
Seeing the light going, Mickey recovering from his shock cried out, "That light! We have to go after it Fran! We have to-!"
However ignoring him, Fran took aim and looking at the monstrous foe they had now, she then said, "Not until I take care of this monstrosity first!" For with disgust in her eyes she added, "I can't allow such a repulsive creation and abusive use of magic like this roam the worlds!" For she detested the sacred arts to be abused in this way!
"Fran..." hearing this Micky was concerned. Though he could understand her feelings, he knew this wasn't the time to-!
"You're not gonna have it that easy!"
Immediately distracted again, Mickey turned his gaze back to the monster. Then as he did so, he saw with shock someone emerge from a portal of darkness, landing upon the metallic feathery back of their enemy! There now riding upon the monstrous bird... it was none other than, "Shirma!?" He cried out!
"That it is!" Greeble commented! Then as he did so he added, "And you better be careful where you aim! For if we go down...!"
"She's goes with us!" Peekaboo commented! Then as they did so, he and Greeble flapped their wings! In seconds powerful gusts of wind began to rise up all around the heroes!
Seeing this, Mickey was horribly worried now! For with them holding Shirma and Juan hostage, what were they supposed to-!?
"Now! Let's have some fun!"
With this united cry, the two headed bird rushed straight at the heroes and with that... the battle commenced!
