On the Thousand Sunny, a skeleton with an afro is fiddling on his violin while the cat dances to the music. She stood on her hind legs and spins along with Brook. Soon the song ends letting the music fade before Clarity cheers.

"Bravo Brook bravo." Brook bows.

"Thank you, fair maiden and might I say your dances are beautiful." Clarity blushes, grinning bashfully.

"Aw thank you." She chuckles "I just love dancing to music is all."

"Well it makes me happy to see you dance." He hums when he sees a smirk appears on her face "Clarity?"

"Are you flattering me so you can see my panties?" Her smirk grew when Brook sweat drop as he looks away "Brook?"

"Maybe." He groans when Clarity laughs. He blushes sheepishly as she laughs harder "listen can you blame me?"

"No but I can laugh." Once she calms down, she sighs then smiled "anyway thank you for the lovely music. It was simply magnificent." He chuckles "but I want to give you something and no it's not my panties, you pervy skeleton." She said, smirking knowingly. Brook tilts his head, curiosity written on his face.

"What is it?"

"A gift for my favorite musician." She giggles as Brook rubs his head, a blush on his face.

"I'm your favorite? I'm honored."

'Adorable.' She thought, smiling at him "yes you are. Now do you want to see your gift?" When he nods, she grins before changing into an eagle. Before taking off, she told him to wait then left as she went to the garden. Making sure to be careful around the tangerines, she pushed back the leaves before grinning. Meanwhile Brook had just put away his instrument when he heard a sound of wings flapping. Looking up, he saw Clarity flying towards him before landing on the railing. As he looks at her, he noticed something hanging from her beak, making him curious. He reaches out his hand towards the bird and watched her drop the object before closing his hand. Pulling it back, he opens them to see a golden star charm.

"Whoa." He whispers, tracing it with his finger.

"I see you like it." He looks up at Clarity who is grinning "cause my favorite musician deserve a star on his special day." He blinks then chuckled.

"Clarity, I'm surprised. I didn't expect getting a gift yet." She rolls her eyes.

"Are you kidding me? Brook if I like the person very much then they gets one of my wonderful gifts." She smiles "so since I like you, you get one, silly skeleton." He laughs. He then motions his shoulder which she flew over and land on.

"Well thank you, Clarity. I'll cherish your gift."

"You're welcome." She blinks when he starts to smirk "Brook?"

"Is panties still open as gifts?" She frowns.

"No."

"Aww."

In the backroom, Brook is writing a new song. His finger tapping on the desk as melodies play in his head. He nods his head to the beat as he continued writing but as he does, his mind start to wander off. He begins to remember how he got here and before he became a rock star. How he was separated from his friends, landed on some island, got taken away then became star.

The quill stops moving as Brook hums. That was one year since he last saw them, since he saw the hidden message from his captain. He hopes Luffy doing okay and that Clarity is taking care of him. He also hopes that she's doing okay as well, knowing it was hard for her too. He sighs a bit, worrying about his friends until he senses something. Slowly raising his head, he looked around the room, seeing nothing is out of place till he turns his head to see a fennec fox sitting next to him.

A look of recognition appeared on his face as he put down his pen. He reaches out and pets the fox, smiling as she lean in "hello Clarity." Said fox smiles "I see you're doing well. How's Luffy." She huffs "I'm glad." He scratches behind her ears then lower it to scratch her back. She sighs in satisfaction before laying down. The skeleton chuckles "I'm happy you're here. I was worried that darkness had consumed you two." Her left ear flicked as she tilts her head "but seeing you looking healthy let me know that you're okay."

'Oh Brook.' She smiles softly. She yips making him chuckled. Then without speaking, she stood up and went to the mirror before picking something up. Walking back to Brook, she sat down and drops the object, a big smile on her face.

"For me?" Brook asks. She nodded then pushes it towards him. He picked up the object and smile when he saw an eighth music note pin brooch covered in rhinestones. Grasping the brooch, he pets Clarity affectionately "thank you, Clarity. I'll see you soon." She winks.

"You're welcome and happy birthday." Soon she disappears leaving a happy skeleton as he put his gift in his pocket for safe keeping.

"Clarity, you look very beautiful today."

"Flattery won't get you to see my panties."

"Aww." The coral haired woman laughs.

"Don't worry I accept your compliment." He smiles.

"Well then since you accept, hope you're up for some music." Clarity put her hands behind her back and smirks as he strums on his guitar.

"Before you do, I have a gift for my favorite musician." She giggles when he chuckles sheepishly.

"Aw I'm still your favorite?"

"Always." He blushes "anyway want to see your gift. I have a feeling this make you happy." Once he nodded, she smiles before pulling out her hands "surprise! Happy birthday, Brook." She watched him look down and stare before a look of shock appears. It was quiet for a moment until tears appear in his eyes. When he reached out, she gently place it in his hands before he pull back. In his hand is a miniature statue of Laboon, smiling with a straw hat logo on his face "I thought to make you this so you can show it to him, and to keep you company." He sniffled "hope you like it."

"I love it." He wipes his eyes before gently placing the statue on the barrel "thank you, Clarity. You're very sweet."

"You're welcome."

Brook smiles as he picked up his guitar "now ready to dance?"

"Always."

AC: Best work yet.

Dusk: Yep.
