(AU KH3) Nozomi living in Bamboo town, one day is sent flying from her world when the Heartless destroy it. Caused by a mysterious mechanical winged individual. She gains a Keyblade and somehow encounters Riku along with King Mickey. From this point on, her true fate will gradually unveil itself as the conflict that started the Keyblade Wars begins again...

240. The Fragmented Revelations Part 3

Chapter CCXXXVI: The Fragmented Revelations Part III

"C'mon lads step on it!" Cait sith cried out loudly. Riding upon his princess's shoulder as she and the rest of the keybladers ran on forwards into the depths of Maleficent's domain, he continued on to say, "Nozomi and the rest of 'em them lads are countin' on us!"

"You don't have to remind us again!" Zidane told him as he raced beside the Alexandra princess, as he did so he then went on to say, "We already know what's going on! Why do you think I rushed into this with you guys!?"

Nodding Mickey who was following on closely behind, then said himself, "Yeah and we're grateful that ya care enough about Timbre to join us here, Zidane!" But looking all about the street alleys that were leading them closer and closer towards the tallest summit of 'The World That Never Was,' he had to ask one thing that was a real dilemna for them, "But we gotta think, when we get up to that castle, where do we even begin to find Nozomi and the rest of our pals?"

As this was asked, nobody there could give the king a proper answer...however one amongst them had an answer, though it would be dangerous. "... I think I can find them, with my power."

Surprised to hear this, Donald looking to the one who said this and seeing her overall pretty attire. had to ask her, "Ya've got powers Oralee?"

Making a single nod, she answered, " Yes," however she also had to add, "But, if I use them... then even our enemies will know we're here."

As this was said, Kairi immediately became worried as she then said, "That doesn't sound it's gonna be good for us."

"I've got news for you guys!"

Distracted by Riku's irritated tone of voice, it was then that they all came to a sudden standstill for there before them all blocking their path, it was a whole battalion of Heartless! Shocked seeing the terrible creatures before them all, Kairi and Oralee were silent as they stood closely together on high alert, while their comrades were all immediately prepped to battle the terrible monstrosities, with all their blades drawn!

Riku agitated by the sight of the creatures then finished telling them, "It looks like they already know!"

Sora seeing this himself, despite the situation, he couldn't help but joke with a smile, "Well let's give them an entry to remember!" With that rushing forwards he struck one of the monsters away! Then looking back he cried out, "You better get to work quick using that power of yours Oralee!"
As this was said, with the fighting then quickly commencing the princess of Alexandra was quiet. It was clear she was slightly anxious as she hesitated in that moment to use her hidden ability as she rung her hands tightly in uncertainty...

"Yer highness..."

Hearing this one gentle voice, Oralee saw again that it was Cait sith. He had moved and was now stroking her left cheek as he told her encouragingly, "It's okay, ya can do it... ya need to for us now!"As this was said to her, the princess of Alexandra was still silent. However just at that moment-!

"RRROOOAAARRRGGGHHH!"

It was then immediately that a group of Heartless rushed at her and the group with her! Kairi seeing this immediately rushed forwards herself and-!

FLASH!

CLANG!

She brought out her own keyblade and immediately intercepted the monsters with it! Stopping their onslaught! However, the princess of heart wasn't the strongest keyblader of her friends and she knew that she could only keep them away for a certain time, so looking back she told her fellow princess, "Oralee please hurry!"

With the Zidane also joined in to support her and as he did so, he added quickly, "Yeah, cause we don't have to time to dawdle here! We need to be in and out of here fast!" With that slashed away a couple of the monsters and with Kairi the two of them charged forwards as the back up defence!

Seeing that there was no choice for herself or her friends... Oralee stopped in her hesitation. Then putting her right hand to her chest, she knew it was time to reveal the true essence of her inner most power...

'Ooohhh..."

Walking forwards and up the stairs, clearly bored of the situation. Jona couldn't help but let out a huge sigh as she said with clear annoyance, "It's not fair being left out like this..."

For Maleficent had commanded both her and Pete to leave her be, after they had prepared the 'Surprises' that were in store for their coming guests. They were now heading up to the section of the castle where Wairu was located, while their mistress had Hari stay behind with her. This had left Pete in a rather depressed mood and he was just as unimpressed about the situation as Jona was.

As the two of them walked on together, Pete was silent. However as they walked on together he couldn't help but wonder to himself, "I wonder what Maleficent's got up her sleeve this time?" For as they had both left together, he had heard the mistress of darkness tell him, 'There will soon be a great cause for celebrations...for the unification will soon commence."

Not understanding what she meant by that at all, Pete continued to remain silent as he carried on up the stairs. Doing so, finally he and Jona made it to the top and walking down the long corridor the vibrant Sphynx continued on to say, "...But anyway, we better make sure that my dear Wairu isn't being too rough on Nozomi honey, otherwise he'll be getting worse than just a lecture from me!" With that she clicked her knuckles showing her fierce intent.
As this was said, Pete was quiet. However in another moment he opened his mouth to speak, "Talkin' bout that brat, what's he been doin' since we-!"

Hearing him suddenly come to a halt in his words, Jona becoming turned back in his direction and asked, "Pete?"

However the overweight villain didn't answer her, for his eyes were opened up widely with a blank shocked expression upon his face. It looked like he'd seen a ghost! However approaching him quickly out of curiosity and slight concern, she then saw that he wasn't shocked. He was caught in a magical trance of some kind for looking on a little more closely, Jona peered and saw that along the rims of his pupils there was a vibrant pink glowing light! Astounded at this sight she asked, "This is?"

Oralee concentrating hard was seeing through Pete's eyes and beyond them! Zooming in and out through countless passages and corridors, she went past room after room until... there she sensed and saw the glowing blue light that was her friend! However she saw it was wavering in total terror as overshadowing it was a darker blue light, it was warped and she saw it had been distorted horribly out of shape!

Sensing her fear, the princess of Alexandra shuddered! However she had to concentrate more! Doing so, she pulled herself back and out of the castle walls there in Pete's memories she saw the layout of the entire castle... she quickly knew her friend's location! With that information gained, she pulled herself back and out of Pete's being!

"Agh!"

Suddenly falling forwards and kneeling down hastily onto the ground, Oralee was gasping loudly! Seeing her do this after vanquishing another Heartless, Kairi ran to her side and asked worried, "Oralee! Are you alright?!"

SLASH!

Hearing this cry as he slashed into another of the Heartless, Riku stopped and turned back. Then as he did so, he saw Kairi trying to support the slightly weakened blonde haired girl as she tried hurriedly to get back up.

The princess of Alexandra feeling Kairi's worry as she was lifted up answered, "Ye, yes... I'm alright."

Cait sith still on her shoulder then asked her, "Ya sure yer highness?"

Nodding, Oralee quickly working to recover her composure then said, "Yes...!" Then standing up fully she relayed her information, "I know where Nozomi is and the others too!"

Immediately as this was said, Riku demanded, "You're sure?!" It was then at that moment that Sora came to a halt as he listened on too.

As this was asked of her, Oralee looking in the keybladers direction and responded, "Yes!" With that she pointed to one of the towers of the castle illuminate by the enormous spectacle that was Kingdom hearts and told him, "She's there in that far tower!"

With that looking to where she was pointing to, Riku noticed the one tower that was peaking out far to the right and raised so high it almost reached the middle top tower. Seeing it, he felt somehow inside that Oralee's judgement was right... Nozomi really was there.

"What about Timbre!?"

SLASH!

It was then that Zidane still fighting the horrible Heartless, called back to the princess as he continued to dodge the terrible attacks that were coming his way. As he continued to do this, he then also had to ask, "And that sleeping Kagi guy? Where are the two of them at!?"

Hearing this question, Oralee quickly answered him, "They're both in the central structure of the castle in the main hall! Maleficent and Hari both have them under surveillance and the Heartless are-!"

"Up in the thundered's right?"

Looking, it was Goofy who had spoken and whislt bashing his shield into another tenacious Heartless. Donald quickly spoke up and said in correction, "It's thousands Goofy!"
To which the clumsy dog solider replied, "Hyuck! Yeah that too!"
Donald only sighed in exasperation as he aimed and-!

ZZZAAAPPP!

He wiped out a huge group of the monsters with his thunderous magical powers! Creating a small pathway out for the group.

As this occurred, Mickey then seeing their opportunity alerted the group "We've got no time to waste fella's! Move it!" With that instantly he took off and ran straight through the wall of Heartless down the opened path and in turn his allies followed after him as he next cried out, "Hurry fella's!"

With those words given everyone raced off quickly towards the illuminated castle. As they did so, Riku was pacing himself. He had to save them, he had to get to Nozomi quickly! However as that thought came to him-!

"RRROOOAAARRRGGGHHH!"

Immediately more Heartless emerged to bar their path! Annoyed with this unyielding barrage Donald had, had enough! Crying out mad he told them all, "Ya confounded heartless! Ya can all just get blasted!" With that he raised his wand high into the air and released his spell, "DUCK FLARE!"

BOOM! BANG! BOOM!

In seconds, a huge barrage of colourful firework rockets streamed forth and as they did so, all of them struck into the heartless that were incoming! As they did so, making them scatter into nothing but dark embers, Zidane was amazed at the white duck's powers! As he became so, he couldn't help but say, "Just remind me to never ruffle your feathers or-!"

KABOOM!

With that there was one last giant explosion! As it came more of the monsters were blasted away by the fierce magical barrage! As they were, Zidane almost speechless managed to finish his sentence, "Never mind..."

Smiling, Sora couldn't help but exclaim crying out, "Nice one Donald!"

Riku though pleased knew this wasn't the time to be distracted! Focusing back onto the matter that was at hand, along with his comrades the keybladers continued their journey towards the ominous luminous castle to save those who were held a prisoners in it's darkest chambers...

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Nozomi looking on at the person who was still holding her face in his hands, she had heard the lilac haired young man tell her what was the cause of the keyhole appearing upon the surface of her body. As this information registered in her mind, she had to repeat confused, "Vessels...of Fragments?"
"Correct," he answered her with that as he continued to hold her soft skin, he stroked his thumbs over her cheeks gently.

Feeling him do this, becoming uncomfortable Nozomi turned her face to dislodge his touch from her skin. She hated what was happening to her...then feeling Wairu slowly move his hands away from her, looking up at him with one of her lilac coloured eyes open she asked him, "What do you mean by that?"

It was then Wairu's turn to be curious and still gazing down at her he repeated, "Mean by?"

"Vessels of Fragments," Nozomi said again. Then as she did so, she explained a little more of her question, "What does that mean? What Fragments?"
Hearing this being put to him, Wairu was quiet further for a moment. However after the realization dawned on him, he then told her with a menacing grin gracing his features, "I see...they never told you, did they?"

"They?" Nozomi uttered puzzled feeling further uncomfortable by Wairu's mocking menace as he continued to peer down at her.

"Your so-called companions you have followed willingly all of this time, they never told you the truth about your power...no, about your true existence in this world," Wairu informed her as he found it quite humorous how Nozomi had been so oblivious all this time.

"My true existence?" Nozomi had to ask, now becoming more fearful at the terrible information that was being revealed to her.

"That's right," he told her. Then with those words, he drew back but staying firmly seated upon her middle he held his hands forwards and whispering a small incantation, two simple purple flames danced upon the palms of his hands.

Watching this Nozomi was silent, however as she was despite the ice that had ensnared her right hand. She could faintly feel her fingertips which were wrapped around Maia's summon gem, realising this she knew when she had the right opportunity, if she could somehow dislodge her hand then she could-!

FLASH!

Distracted from her brief thoughts of potential escape, Nozomi saw the the two flames in Wairu's hands had taken on new forms. She saw on her left in Wairu's right hand was the purple glowing silhouette of a warrior, he was powerful Nozomi could feel that and in it's armoured clenched hands was a keyblade. Quiet as she saw this, she then finally saw to her right and within Wairu's left palm there was a silhouette of a door with a bright white light in it's centre.

Seeing Nozomi's eyes were upon his illusionary creations, he then began to weave his tale of the past, "Long ago there was chaos throughout the worlds and one warrior, known as The Warrior Of Light, had crafted the ultimate keyblades of all keyblades..."

"Keyblade?" Nozomi asked puzzled.

Wairu didn't answer her query, instead the illusions in his hands continued to play out the past as he continued on with his tale, "With this blade, he sealed the door that all keybladers seek... The Door Of Light!" With that, the illusionary warrior with his keyblade held aloft directed it at the door and in moments, the opened door was sealed shut and silently vanished from sight, taking the light with it.

As this imagery played out, Nozomi continued to remain silent. As she did so, Wairu continued on, "With this act done, the darkness could not touch it... the worlds were all at peace at last, free from the chaos that the malevolent force brought with it." With that the Warrior of Light held his weapon triumphantly above himself. As he did this, Wairu's tone became darker subtly in tone as he then said, "However, the weapon that he had used to bring peace... he knew ultimately it would bring chaos again with it, for he feared it's fearsome powers."
Nozomi this then asked, "He feared the powers of his own keyblade?"

As this was asked of him, Wairu then answered her simply, "That's right, for it had the power to eventually find the door again and open it again..." with that the illusion of the warrior vanished. As it did so, the image of the keyblade was enlarged and rested in-between both of Wairu's hands.

Nozomi watching this occur listened on as Wairu continued on to say, "And because he feared it so for that reason, he knew he had to destroy it!" With that the keyblade was shattered apart and immediately eight glowing lights floated about each now glowing with eight different colours, orange, dark blue, purple, red, yellow, pink, light blue and finally a green one.

Seeing them all float about, Nozomi felt a resonance with these lights. But how? Why would she? However she didn't have time to dwell on these thoughts, for Wairu began to speak again as the eight colourful lights came to rest still in his hands, "Then as he did this act, the most powerful keyblade which had saved all of existence was turned into eight living fragments, eight shining shattered pieces of a once mighty whole..."

"Eight Fragments?" Nozomi repeated.

Wairu again didn't answer her, instead he continued with his story, "However these fragments could not survive as a whole on their own and when they were scattered, they attached themselves."

Nozomi hearing this asked, "Attached themselves?" Then feeling slightly nervousness, Nozomi dreaded the next question she was going to ask, "To what?"

To which Wairu answered her, "Hearts," with that said eight red glowing hearts were revealed. Seeing this Nozomi kept silent. As she saw the hearts, the female keyblader didn't know what to think but before she could say another word, Wairu continued to speak on, "But not normal Hearts," with that suddenly the normal Hearts that were beating and full of like cracked like glass and as this occurred, Nozomi felt herself shudder inside as they began to drift apart into shattered pieces as Wairu then finally revealed them to be, "Broken Hearts."

With those words spoken, quickly the eight coloured lights entered the shattered hearts and began to beat within them, filling them with their each own individual coloured light. Making them complete and not allowing them to break apart.

Not understanding this, Nozomi then asked, "Broken Hearts? What do you mean by that?" Then thinking to herself quietly she came up with a couple of simple conclusions, "Do you mean hearts that are emotionally hurt? Weakened ones or-?"

"They are dead hearts," Wairu answered coldly.

Shocked hearing this, Nozomi couldn't quite take in what Wairu had said and repeated the one terrible word he had uttered, "Dead?"
"That's right, they are hearts that are born into people who are deceased before they even live... ones that were never able to acquire an existence of their own, they are beings that were never supposed to have survived." Wairu told her finally the horrible truth of what a Fragment bearer meant.

Nozomi was clearly horrified to hear this, her own heart which had been fluttering with fear was now turning icy cold with horrible dread. Inside she couldn't believe that, she didn't want to! For how could something so horrible be allowed to exist! How-!

"Because of this unforseen characteristic, when the Vessels began to exhibit their powers... people learned of their true existence and began to fight over their powers."

Nozomi hearing this asked, "Fight over the people with fragments? Why? Why do that?"

Wairu then answered her query, "It's simple, it was to gain the ultimate weapon that would in turn grant them ultimate power... the light hidden behind the elusive legendary door."

Horrified to hear this, Nozomi said nothing and seeing her react this way, Wairu simply continued with his explanations, "This in turn caused wars to break out again amongst the worlds... until a certain king gathered the Fragments in one place, stopping the conflict and ending the greed in people's hearts...but that small time of peace did not last long."

As this was said, Nozomi then had to ask, "Why didn't it last?"
"Because a certain individual you know by name only, set off events where the conflicts arose again and the chaos, by sending the Fragments flying throughout the worlds..." with that gazing down at Nozomi he informed her, "His name was Xehanort."

Gasping, Nozomi couldn't believe it! That dreaded man of darkness that Riku and the others had talked about... he was involved in this? But how could that-!

Suddenly distracting her again from her horrified confused thoughts, Nozomi felt Wairu's hand upon her left cheek again. Looking to him startled, she saw him looking down at her with affectionate yet ominous eyes. As he did this she then heard him go on to say, "And because of that man, releasing the Fragments into the world... I was able to be born and you as well Nozomi, we were able to meet and be together."

Nozomi didn't know what to say to this, all this information... it was just too unbelievable! How could she believe this!? Why-!

"It was destiny..." Wairu then told her, with those words he began to lower his face down to again kiss her.

Seeing what he was doing, immediately Nozomi turned her face away from him cringing uncomfortably. With this done, Wairu's lips came upon her left cheek. Feeling her soft skin and not her lips... the dark mage was clearly unimpressed and pulling himself back, he then had to ask her, "Are you still thinking about that white haired keyblader right now?"

Nozomi hearing this and still feeling her trepidation about the situation she was trapped in. Turned to look back up to Wairu, she looked on at him clearly upset and she was even slightly angered. Seeing her look up to him this way, the dark mage then proceeded on to tell her almost smugly in tone, "Well you'd be better off forgetting him... and the rest of your so called friends." With that he then told her as her expression became even further soured, "Because eventually they'll forget all about you."

As this was said, again Nozomi felt a horrible chill inside of herself. As she did, she then had to ask, "What's that supposed to mean?"

With that asked, Wairu then told her with a serious dark light in his eyes as the sinister smile still continued to grace his face. He then informed her, "I told you, you and I are Vessels for these Fragments of power... and because of this, on our own without those treasures keeping us alive we have nothing but Broken Hearts, which means we don't have an existence of our own."

"Don't have an existence...?" Then as this puzzled Nozomi, she had to ask, "You mean that we're just like living ghosts or something?"

Wairu hearing this couldn't help but chuckle menacingly, Nozomi froze in seconds unsure of what it was he might do. Finishing with his moment of amusement, Wairu concentrating on his captive again then told her with new illusionary images dancing upon his single free hand, "You and I have never lived, it's only because of the Fragments inside of our Hearts that we are able to experience life." With that a purple smoky silhouette of a human stood upon his palm. As it remained stationary and unmoving, a Heart was revealed to be beating in it's chest with a shimmer of light blue glowing from within it.

Nozomi knew without having to ask that this silhouette wasn't there just to represent all Vessels... it was meant to symbolize her personally. But she said nothing as Wairu continued on to speak explaining more of the awful truth, "However if those Fragments are removed from us..." with that the glowing blue light that was inside the silhouette person's Heart came out from it's body through a keyhole that quickly appeared on it's chest... in seconds the figure collapsed and quickly in moments, it faded entirely into nothingness. Leaving nothing behind of itself but the glowing blue light.

Her eyes widening in shock as she saw this, Nozomi then heard Wairu continue on to say, "We cease to exist entirely, there is nothing left of us... not a mark in history that we ever lived and those who we have deemed to be precious and experienced life with... even they have no tangible remaining memory of us."

Her heart sinking hearing this, Nozomi asked, "No memory?"

"Nothing," Wairu answered her. Then doing this, stroking Nozomi's cheek still... he went on to say, "Those so called comrades that you have been with all this time, they've only been using you, waiting... waiting for the right moment to take your power and have it for their own."
As this was said, Nozomi was silent. It was clear this information disturbed her, looking down to the side she didn't want to look at Wairu as he continued on to say, "You mean nothing to them Nozomi, I know this and you will soon realise that truth too," with that stroking her cheek he told her, "I am the only one who can care for you, I will be the one to cherish and remember you... I love you." Nozomi didn't say anything to this, she couldn't and only clenched her fists tightly against the pain of the ice. For all of this, it had to be a lie! It couldn't be the truth! There was just no way-!

"And I know they only see as you as an object," Wairu spoke as he continued with his words," A weapon to be used and abused until finally you're disgarded... they're just like all the rest of the petty selfish inignificant beings in the rest of the worlds." With that said he looked to the window that was illuminated by the blue light of Kingdom Hearts, seeing it he then added, "But with the power of the darkness at my side, along with my own fragment commanding the forces of the mightiest forces of magic, I'll destroy all the worlds, anything and everyone that would hurt us!"
Gasping as she heard this, Nozomi looked to him terrified and as she did so, Wairu looked back to her and as he did so, he finally told her sinisterly with love, "And finally you and I will be allowed to be together in a peaceful paradise just for the two of us..."

Nozomi hearing this, felt tears sting her eyes. This wasn't her friend... this wasn't the person she'd grown up with! Angered and upset, she then told him, "Don't say thing's like that!"

Wairu was clearly surprised to hear her disapprove of him and as he became silent, Nozomi continued on to say, "You don't know Riku, Mickey, Cait sith and the others! They're not that way I don't believe that they would forget me or anyone else! That's a lie! And how could you say something so horrible like destroying all the worlds?!" With that clenching her frozen hands in her mind, she went on to tell him, "I've been to so many beautiful and incredible places! There are so many wonderful good people in the worlds! They're not all selfish like you said! Everything and everyone deserves to exist... and though I have met some bad people and seen some terrible thing's too, none of that deserves to disappear!"

Wairu listening to Nozomi say this, said nothing in response. He simply stared down at her coldly.

The female keyblader then continued on to say, "I don't want hear any more lies like this... and if you continue acting this way!" Nozomi then told him horribly upset her tears flowing from eyes, "I'll end up hating you, Wairu! Is that you what you want to happen!?"

As these words were cried out, it seemed as though something had snapped within the mage of darkness as he looked on at his hostage shocked at this possibility, then he uttered, "Hate me...?"

Nozomi shivering from the fear and sadness, along with the ice that was holding her down in place. She didn't know how Wairu was going to react, this hurt her having to say such a thing...but it was the truth. Then thinking about her right hand where she could feel a little more of Maia's summon gem, she tried hard to move again but just as she began to do that-!

"HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA!"

Shocked by this sudden burst of maniacal laughter, Nozomi saw in terror Wairu look down at her with that evil smile again. As he did so, he then told her chillingly, "That's fine."
"What?" She questioned him perplexed, feeling her heart speeding up with dreaded unease.

"You can hate me, loathe me, detest me... you can even jdeny the truth I just told you," with that moving his free hand, he hovered it over and down towards Nozomi's chest as he did so told her, "All I have to do to is erase the affections you already hold for those vermin, especially that liar Riku!"

Feeling his hand over the middle of her chest, Nozomi then cried out, "What're you-!"

SHINE!

"Agh!"

Immediately feeling a terrible pain from the centre of her chest, Nozomi looked on and in horror she saw that beginning to bloom out was he horrible flower of darkness she'd been warned about! If that thing activated then she would-!

"Beautiful," Wairu echoed, then looking to Nozomi who looked back at him with terror he then told her, "And with just one final kiss, you'll belong to me... and only me!"

Panicked and simultaneously repulsed, as his hands came to try and make her face look to him, Nozomi cried out madly, "NO! STOP IT!" With that she used what fight she had left to stop this irreversible evil spell from taking over her!

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

"HHHAAA!"

Wiping another Heartless as they entered the interior of the castle, Zidane was racing with the others up a tall flight of stairs. As they did so, the monkey tailed young man then had to call out, "So where do we go now!? What direction are we supposed to head in!?"

Looking around them, Oralee seeing ahead of herself and remembering what she had seen from Pete's memory. She realised what they needed to do! "We need to go down those stairs there! Turn right, go down the corridor that we come to and finally we need to ascend the elevator! That will take us to where Nozomi is!"
"Hyuck!" Goofy laughed out, then as he did so he couldn't help but say, "That's one mighty interestin' power ya got there Oralee!"
Annoyed in seconds, Cait sith then told him mad with an accusing finger, "That's princess Oralee to ya, ya dummy mutt! You ain't in me highness's good graces yet ta be-!"
Annoyed about this, Zidane then spoke again and cried out, "Oh who cares about that!?" With that he then had to ask what was most concerning him, "What about Timbre!? Where's he and Kagi at!?"

As this was asked of her, Oralee looking to the blonde haired thief then told him, "They'll be straight to the left where the main hall will be, there will be a set of doors down a winding corridor with Heartless guarding them and-!"

"Sounds like we'll need to split up for that part then!" Sora cried out as the idea quickly hit him.

Surprised he'd suggested that, Kairi asked him, "Spilt up?"

To which he nodded and replied, "Yeah!"
With that, everyone quickly journeyed down the path Oralee had described, thrashing the Heartless that came to impede their path. As they did so, they finally made it onto the elevator!
Making it onboard, Oralee pressed the right button they needed and as she did so making the doors close, Mickey then spoke his thoughts, "Okay fella's! I say that Timbre, Sora, Goofy and Donald head off to rescue Timbre and Kagi."

Then Riku spoke saying, "Then that leaves me to save Nozomi, with you Oralee and Kairi."

"And me lad!" Cait sith cried out, not wanting to be forgotten in the numbers!

Puzzled why they'd arranged thing's this way, the Princess of Heart couldn't help but ask, "But why with you, your Majesty?"

Oralee though already clearly knew, "It's because there'll be less Heartless for us to engage with, also he'll need me to direct us if we need it."

To which, Mickey nodded glad to see Oralee was paying good attention to the situation.

"Then what're we supposed to do after we rescue those guys, your majesty?" Donald asked curiosly.

Mickey then told him, "Ya run straight out and get away from this castle as fast ya can! We're not here for a final showdown, remember! This is a rescue operation!"Everyone nodded at these words and as they did so-!

DING!

The elevator had arrived at their destination! With that as the doors opened, everyone broke off into their respective groups! Sora running on with Zidane and co, called back to Riku and his group, "Good luck you guys!"

"Give them Hell!" Zidane cried back and with that all of them were on their way!

Mickey nodded determined, while Riku running on forwards thought to himself, 'Nozomi hang on! We'll be with you soon!'

"Urgh...!"

Feeling a horrible headache in his head, Pete couldn't help but wonder who'd hit him with a frying pan? As these thoughts came he swear he could hear a voice.

"Up! Get up!"

Confused as his eyes fluttered open slightly he asked, "Who?"

"Get up you fat lummox!"

It was then that immediately his focus was back to full and sitting up, though a little achingly he turned and saw the one who'd been coaxing him to wake up and also shaking his overly large body, it was none other than Jona.

She looked at him with annoyance as she then asked him, "What the heck happened to you there!?"
Blank as he heard this and obviously perplexed, he questioned her saying, "What? What happened?" For didn't understand what had just occurred.

The exotic Sphynx then told him, "You were staring into outer space! What came over you!?"

"Came over...?" For he still didn't get a single thing she was saying as he shook his head, trying to rid himself of the terrible ache in his head.

"Don't you remember anything from that moment?" Jona asked him, wanting to know what was going on there and then.

"Remember?" Pete questioned again. However as he did so, suddenly in his mind he had a flash inside, he quickly saw an image his mind of one person. Someone who had been in his head! It was none other than, "That prissy princess!"
Confused as he said this, Jona asked sceptically, "Prissy princess?"

Then looking to her, Pete then told her, "It's them varmits! They're here in the castle and-!"

"We're right on top of ya!"

Spooked, Pete looked up and-!

POW!

"OW!"

Suddenly swooping down on him from nowhere, it was none other than, "Mickey!?"

Hearing Jona call his name, the mouse king pointed to her with his keyblade as Pete fell to the floor again, with an even worse headache than before! As he did so, he told her, "Long time no see there, Jona!"

Immediately the exotic Sphynx gripped her right clawed hand tightly. As she did so, she then quickly went to intercept him!

Seeing her suddenly come to charge at him, Mickey jumped back! Then as she moved to strike him with other clawed hand-!

CLANG!

Quickly another keyblade came into contact with her lethal sharp claws! Looking on in surprise, the exotic female Sphynx saw someone unknown to her and asked, "You are-!?'

"A princess! Who wants in on some of the action!" It was none other than Kairi barring Jona with her own keyblade! Seeing that her enemy was surprised by her appearance, the red haired girl looked behind and cried out, "Riku go now!"

Hearing her call, immediately came the call, "Right!" With that the white haired keyblader rushed forwards past Mickey and Kairi! As he did, heading in the direction where Nozomi be he called out to them, "You guys stay safe!" With that he was on his way!
Watching on from the distance within a protective spell bubble that Cait sith had cast around her, Oralee could only pray that the brave keyblader would make it in time to help Nozomi. For all she could do was watch on as Kairi and Mickey did their best to hold Jona and Pete back from the dire rescue mission that was now at hand...
