Knightmare Lord: I hope more chapters come in. This is getting so good!

ThermalsniperN7: Just gonna address both of these... Here's the new chapter.

Dragon Emperor0: Thanks, my guy.

-Beacon Academy, Vale-

In the dormitories of Beacon Academy, the students were all fast asleep as the morning rose once again through the windows of the student lodgings.

This continued until the sleep of one Weiss Schee was interrupted by the blowing of a whistle in her ear by her younger leader, Ruby Rose.

"AAAHHHH!" She screamed, flailing about before she fell on the floor in a heap.

"Rise and shine, Weiss!" The reaper chirped.

"What're you doing?!" Weiss questioned as she slowly got up.

"We still have some unpacking to do." Ruby replied as Blake held up a suitcase, which fell open and spilled its contents onto the floor. "Now let's get to work!" She exclaimed with a fist in the air, Blake and Yang doing the same.

It was pretty obvious that the ravenette looked awkward about it while the blonde looked like she had a hangover. That last part was actually true, since Yang went out drinking with some friends the night before to celebrate getting into Beacon.

Meanwhile Weiss was thoroughly uninterested in the idea as it was something she was used to letting her servants do.

However, luckily Ruby was able to get them all to do the work since it needed to be done anyway. This led to many different hijinks regarding said unpacking: Such hijinks included but were not limited to Ruby accidentally slicing the curtain in half with Crescent Rose, Blake trying to keep her 'romance' novels hidden and so on.

Upon finishing everything they took a moment to admire their work before Weiss brought something up.

"Uh, what time is it?" The heiress asked, realizing that they all forgot to keep track of time.

"One second…" Ruby trailed off as she looked at her scroll. "8:55." She replied.

"What?! Class starts in five minutes!" Weiss panicked before she bolted out the door, the rest of the girls following quickly.

(Elsewhere)

Meanwhile, the adjacent team CESN had awoken quite a bit easier. With Fenris spending his night sleeping on top of Sun's bed–which was in front of a window–waking him up early enough to get his team up much quicker than RWBY.

The monkey faunus didn't seem to mind sharing the foot of his bed with his teammate, he even gave him a pillow and blanket to use.

Luca was also a light sleeper himself, and didn't have any problems with being woken up early. He even made a remark about living like that before coming to Beacon.

So, after getting Neptune to wake up, the four got their stuff unpacked and left for breakfast.

Unlike Team RWBY, the newly formed Team CESN were able to rearrange their room with far less shenanigans than the former of the two.

This was partly because the four had already planned out the way their room would be laid out: That being in a three way pattern with each taking a third of the room, Sun's quadrant being shared between him and Fenris. And because the four boys didn't really have much to unpack to begin with, so it took far less time.

They finished so quickly that they were able to eat their breakfast rather leisurely and head off to their classes soon after, being about five minutes early.

It was then that Sun decided to bring something up. "Hey Fenris, Luca. You guys never said where your families were." He noted. This made the two flinch at the same time.

"I… Haven't seen my family in over a decade after a massive fuck up on my part." The wolf faunus admitted.

"And I only have an adopted sister. We… parted ways after an incident between us." Luca commented carefully. "I'm not ready to talk about it yet." He added with a sigh.

"Oh." Sun said, visibly deflating. "Well, if it makes you feel any better, my family isn't a picnic either." He stated.

"How so?" Luca asked.

"You guys ever heard of Shan Wukong?" Neptune chimed in over his simian friend's shoulder.

"I've heard the name here and there. He's the strongest Faunus Alive. Why?" The snake faunus asked before he noticed something. "Wait… Sun, is he really your old man?!" He gasped in surprise.

"Yep. And trust me, it's not a picnic being related to him." The blonde nodded.

"How?" Fenris questioned.

"Well for one, I'm not his only kid." Sun explained. "My dad typically goes around the world fighting strong opponents, and when he finds one that happens to be the opposite gender they tend to uh… hit it off in several ways, if you catch my meaning." He elaborated. "So that means I have an unknown number of half siblings running around that I've never even met." He added.

"Oh jeez…" Luca groaned in exasperation.

"Took the words right outta my mouth." Fenris muttered in agreement. "Well, for what it's worth, my dad–Locke Crimson–actually had me, my brother Jordan and sister Helena with a woman he met while working with Ozpin." He began. "Then he had my half-brother Colt with a racer he dated for a bit. And lastly he had my half-brothers Nigel and Valentine with my step-mother Autumn." He added.

"At least we can take solace in the fact that the two of us have some crazy families." Sun mused as he draped an arm around the wolf boy's shoulders. "Say, what kind of faunus is your dad and siblings?" He asked.

"Well, my dad's faunus parentage goes back a few generations, but due to it being mixed with humans, it's been mixed up to the point that his faunus trait never really surfaced until later." The boy explained. "That being a mixture of wolf and bear faunus, but none ever claimed dominance so it just left him looking like a normal human except for unnatural strength and agility." He added.

"Huh. Ya know, I've heard of that happening with families whose faunus traits were different in every generation." Neptune nodded.

"What about your siblings?" Luca asked.

"Let's see… My older brother Jordan is a snake faunus, his trait is having snake skin that can help him shed away sickness and Venomous fangs–our genetic anomaly is having two traits–Helena is an eagle faunus with four wings, a genetic defect." The wolf boy began. "Colt is a horse faunus, his trait is his hair which grows into a mane of hair that never manages to tangle. And Nigel and Valentine are both Wolf and Bear faunus since their mom is human." He added.

"I don't know if I'd call having four wings a genetic defect." Luca mused. "It sounds more like a blessing to me." He added.

"Yeah, Helena thought so, too." Fenris chuckled right as team RWBY ran into the classroom. "Hey girls." He said as they sat down, out of breath.

"Hey…" They sighed, winded.

"So, your brother and sister, can they… ya know…" Neptune asked.

"Transform? Jordan can." Fenris nodded. "And his form earned him a nickname: The World Serpent." He added.

"He can't really be that big, can he?" Sun asked, unable to envision a Grimm serpent big enough to live up to its name.

"Oh he is that big." Fenris confirmed.

"What are you guys talking about?" Ruby panted as she tried to catch her breath.

"My siblings." The wolf faunus replied.

"Really? You almost never talk about them." Yang noted.

"Guess you guys rubbed off on me." The blade wielder shrugged as they all faced front right as their Huntsmen Regulation and Law teacher, a man named Sorrell Barn.

Sorrell Barn was an older portly gentleman with swept graying brown hair, golden eyes hidden behind a pair of bifocals, and a pair of bushy eyebrows and an equally bushy mustache. Combine that with his overall tawny and yellow attire, which his owl printed pocket watch, it gave him the look of the usually wise looking bird.

"Welcome, all of you, to your first day of classes." The man started. "My name is Sorrell Barn, and I'll be your Huntsman Laws and Regulations teacher. Now, let's begin." He added before he started the first lesson of the day.

(Later)

Needless to say the entire class was uneventful and frankly boring to the two teams–with Ruby, Yang, Sun and Fenris all falling asleep halfway through the class and only waking up when the bell rang.

The next class had the two separate as Team CESN went to Grimm Studies while RWBY went to sparring.

In the case of the former it was taught by another portly gentleman aptly named Professor Port, who had various articulated skeletons of Grimm he'd killed and some synthetically taxidermied ones all over the room.

The subject of today's class was a subject Fenris in particular was uncomfortably familiar with: Grimm-born Transformation based diseases such as Lycanthropy. Luca noticed his discomfort but was unsure of what to do or say to ease his nerves.

"Understand this, class: Grimm Born diseases like Lycanthropy can be caused by different sources. It can happen from a certain Beowolf bite or–in a truly unfortunate setting– a person falls into a Grimm spawning pit." The man explained. "It is a dark fate with no known cure, if one even exists. Please be mindful of those who are afflicted by it." He continued, trying to implore his students to not choose bigotry.

This caused team CRDL to look at Team CESN, who shot looks back at them, at least until a question from Pyrrha interrupted them.

"Professor. How are these Transformations triggered? As far as I'm aware, those with Grimm afflictions never transform normally as things that are of the Grimm are incompatible with one's aura." She asked.

"Ah yes, very perceptive, Miss Nikos. Very perceptive indeed." Port nodded. "It is true, the transformation typically can only be triggered as long as the afflicted's Aura is either severely depleted or completely broken." He explained. "And said triggers can vary from person to person. I've seen those who turn due to volatile and strong emotions. Immense pain and agony. Or even of their own volition after great effort and training." He explained.

'Hm… Maybe I should figure out a good regiment to help with that.' Fenris mused.

It was then that Luca raised his hand. "Question, Professor." He chimed in.

"Yes, young man?" The Professor nodded at him.

"Would you happen to know anything about the Watchers specifically?" He asked, causing the rest of the class to perk up since they wanted to know about them, too. Team CESN, especially so, for obvious reasons.

Port seemed surprised by this question before clearing his throat. "Ahem, yes. Well, unfortunately Mr. Emerald not much is known about the Watchers beyond that they are by far the oldest and most powerful Grimm on this planet–their only equal being Atheon and Panoptese of the Viral species–and that they are extraordinarily intelligent." He explained. "Called so because it is rumored that they are capable of coherent speech as well as being capable of complex thoughts and planning." He added.

Team CESN exchanged glances with each other and nodded, knowing that the last part was actually true, based on their initiation.

"Who all are they, then? How many are there?" Ren questioned, breaking his own silence.

"As far as we know, there are only four. They all have names given to them by ancient peoples, those being: Aramos, Azazel, Arakiel and Baraqiel." The teacher responded. "According to the legends surrounding them they correspond to Conquest, War, Famine and Death respectively. And are led by Aramos." He added.

"The aspects of the Four Horsemen." Luca chimed in, causing everyone to look at him. "It's a fairy tale, companion piece of the Four Maidens." He elaborated.

"Precisely." The old man nodded. "The Four Horsemen are a tale as old as the tale of the Four Maidens, and have been passed down for generations. It's rare for someone not to know either." He added with a chuckle.

"Or at least not a heavily sanitized version." Fenris noted, laying his head down.

Meanwhile with Team RWBY, they were in sparring class and the team leader was a bit too busy goofing off and causing both Yang and Blake to laugh for any of the lessons to stick. Much to Weiss's chagrin.

(Later)

The next class for both teams were in their next classes, those being team building for team RWBY–which Weiss was unwilling to cooperate in–and Sparring for Team CESN.

Interestingly enough, Fenris and Luca were the first ones up.

The wolf faunus quickly drew his swords while the snake faunus cracked his whip, his jet wings being stowed for the time being.

"Begin!" Glynda called, prompting the two to start attacking each other.

Fenris was quick to swing his swords at his Lancer, who channeled some Wind Dust through Kukulkan to throw them off their trajectory when it cracked. Then he sent a wave of fire at him, forcing him to leap back to avoid getting burned.

Fenris retaliated by whipping his swords around in a circle–knocking Luca off balance with a ring of fire–before hooking him in the stomach with the blade, whipping him up into the air with the chain, and then slamming him down onto the ground in the same motion.

Luca let out a pained gasp as the wind was knocked out of him before he was yanked by both chains towards his team leader–who shoulder bashed him into the wall.

Hissing slightly, Luca kicked Fenris back before he deployed his wing pack and created a dense fog, covering the arena and masking both of them from everyone's view.

The wolf boy growled before a fireball was suddenly sent his way from his right, forcing him to dodge once he heard it coming.

This ended up leaving him open to a strike from behind, the snake faunus having blitzed behind him quickly for the attack. Fenris grunted when he felt the attack hit his back.

Luca then leapt onto him and started kicking him several times, before the wolf teen hurled the opposing boy off of him–his anger growing.

Though as everyone watched, they noticed that every time Luca depleted Fenris' Aura, it quickly recovered itself in a matter of seconds! This surprised team JNPR in particular.

"What in the world…?" Jaune whispered with wide eyes.

"It would seem that you're not the only one with absurd aura reserves." Pyrrha whispered to him.

"No." Ren retorted. "It looks more like Fenris has an abnormal Aura Recovery rate than Aura amount." He added.

Back with the two fighters, Luca continued to bash Fenris with spinning wing attacks and Dust feather projectiles, while also dodging any counterattack with his feather speed semblance.

However, when he slammed his team leader to the ground and dragged him along the floor by the face, Fenris was getting angrier and angrier.

Until, finally, the dam broke.

Fenris let out an angry roar before he violently kicked Luca off of him, his semblance caused him to grow much taller and glow a furious red, with a flaming red aura.

"Oh damn it…" Luca groaned, realizing that this was likely his leader's semblance: Rage.

The wolf boy then proceeded to throw several wild and powerful punches that rapidly took down his aura in just five hits, the last punch sending him flying into the wall–his aura shattering on impact.

The room fell into silence as Luca laid on the ground, beaten while Fenris slowly regained control of his rage and returned to normal, prompting Glynda to step forward.

"Everyone, as you've seen, there is going to be a myriad of opponents in the world with varying advantages. Mister Crimson's was his aura recovery and durability. Mister Emerald's was his Dust attacks and speed." She told the audience that was her class.

"Remind me never to get him angry." Jaune whispered as Pyrrha nodded.

(Later)

Finally the last class of the day was Dust Lab and it was the only class that teams RWBY, CESN and JNPR had together.

Ruby had started doodling a bit, but then she saw something that caught her eye. Namely the fact that Luca had decided to take advantage of the class a bit to make some extra Dust feathers since he was in need of some new ones after sparring class.

"Hey Weiss, check that out." She said, getting her teammate's attention.

"What are–" She started to ask before noticing what Luca was doing. "... Wow." She uttered in intrigue.

The process was actually quite interesting: He would take some particle Dust of any type (Fire Dust, in this case) and shape it into a feather. Then he would take a Dust crystal, and he would whittle it down into the shape of a feather. At the end of both, he would bend it (a flexibility check) to test how durable it was. If it didn't snap in half, it passed his test.

"Where'd he learn to do that?" Weiss wondered.

"I'll set up a reminder to ask him later." Ruby nodded, setting a reminder on her scroll.

However, as the class dragged on, the girls–save Weiss–and boys–save Luca–were either goofing off or asleep.

Ruby in particular was attempting to perform a sort of visual gag, specifically using Chrystals to imitate Port.

Weiss looked at it and couldn't stop herself from chuckling a bit at Ruby's gag… Though this ended up causing her to knock over a vial of potent Dust and…

BOOM!

… Made that concussive explosion happen. There was a brief silence before…

"RUBY!" Weiss yelled in anger.

"Uh… Oops?" She got out sheepishly.

"MY DUST FEATHERS!" Luca cried in comical despair, his freshly made Dust feathers having been destroyed in the blast.

(Later)

After the absolute fiasco that was their Dust Lab class, Team RWBY found themselves in Ozpin's office with Glynda in tow. Yeah, not a good start to the first day of school–it must be said.

After a lengthy reprimand from the headmistress of the school, Ozpin decided to speak up.

The man, being wise and manipulative, treated the situation thusly. "As you ladies are undoubtedly aware, the purpose of fast and randomized team selecting processes was meant to force burgeoning Huntsmen and Huntresses to work with and against their own faults." He began. "Not only as Protectors but also as people." He continued.

"What does that have to do with this?" Yang wondered.

"Learning to work together is our best asset in the face of the Grimm and while it isn't uncommon for Huntsmen to work alone, it's equally as common for them to work in teams, be it other Hunters, civilians or military to better oversee the front–sometimes as the same teams they graduated in." The Headmaster elaborated.

"Like mom, dad, Uncle Qrow and Raven." Ruby noted.

"Precisely." The man nodded in reply. "So, that being said, you four will be spending some time with a senior team, and will also have two weeks of community service to make up for the damage to the Dust lab." He continued. "... And Mr. Emerald's Dust feathers." He added absently, sounding a little interested in how those were made.

"What? Why that? I can just pay for the damages." Weiss stated. "Besides, why should we–or ,I care about a faunus' dismay? Frankly, I'm surprised they're even allowed in here." She continued. "Additionally, what could another team possibly teach us, like anyone else could understand the issues this team is–." She added before Glynda interrupted her.

"That is quite enough, Miss Schnee." The Deputy Headmistress snapped at the heiress.

"The issue here is not a problem of money, but of attitude." Ozpin replied, setting a pointed gaze on Weiss. "Yours in particular, Miss Schnee, as your remarks just now have proved that you need to be taught a few lessons in compassion and humility." He added.

The heiress looked very indignant at this, but before she could say anything, Glynda dismissed them as a way of telling her off.

However, as the rest of RWBY–the team not the person–left, Ruby–the person, not the team–stayed behind to talk to Ozpin while Glynda left to attend to matters elsewhere.

"Professor, do you… do you think it was a mistake making me a team leader?" She asked nervously. "Weiss seems to think so." She added with a deflating tone.

"Miss Rose." The Headmaster said as he sipped his usual coffee before looking at her with an honest, good natured expression on his face that caused her to be at ease. "I've made many mistakes. More than any man, woman and child on this planet. But I am quite certain that making you team leader was not one of them." He continued. "After all, I see a good many traits in you that you inherited from your mother. And I don't think for a second that making her Team STRQ's leader was a mistake, either." He added.

This caused the red reaper's nerves to calm down as she smiled at his words. She wanted to make a similar legacy like the one her mother had when she led Team STRQ, and live up to her mother in her own way.

"Thank you, professor." The silver eyed girl smiled happily.

"Of course, Miss Rose." Ozpin nodded, happy to uplift his students.

-Valhalla Drinking Hall and Spirits Store, Vale-

Meanwhile with Team CESN, the group was currently busy helping Lucas cheer up by letting him drown his sorrows in a local bar and Mead Hall that Fenris was known for frequenting due to its similarities to the ones back in his hometown of New Jotunheim.

The place was a mead hall that had the typical appearance of a Nordic restaurant or great hall. Predominantly made of wood and metal, statues of great figures, head mounts and taxidermied animals and Grimm making up the decor with horn torches and antler chandeliers making up the lighting.

Behind the bar were a few bartenders with a wide assortment of liquor, wine, mead and other spirits at their disposal as well as a line of various ales on tap or in bottles.

The place also had various foods, but that was neither here nor there.

However, the snake faunus only had one drink, and not a single one more. The rest of his team, though… Yeah, they were too fucking plastered to notice.

"Ah now this is what I needed after today." Fenris sighed as he leaned back, chugging on a flagon of mead, his face still having soot on it from the explosion

Specifically a Mistralian brand called River Ván. It was a Mead fermented from wild honey and wild yeast, with both juniper berries, hibiscus, rose, and hops added into it. The last ingredient was used as a battering agent.

"Yeah…" Luca nodded idly, not feeling all that enthused about being in a bar after what happened with him and Cinder. Yeah, he was pretty beat up about his Dust feathers being destroyed earlier today, but that wasn't enough cause for him to drink.

Meanwhile, Sun and Neptune were having a flagon of mead and ale each. The Mead being from the same meadry as Fenris' (specifically the Briarwood Meadry) only a different series.

This one was called Asgard's Pantry, which was a refined orchid honey fermented with quince, apples, dates, lingon berries, juniper, rose and hibiscus which was fermented with handpicked yeasts and a wormwood and hops battering blend.

The ale, meanwhile, was an Argus ale called the Billow Maidens' Ale. This particular ale was an ale that used barely as a wheat, with honey as food for the yeast along with fresh pressed apples, with hemlock and hops as bitters. It was a particularly well regarded beer.

"Oh *hic* man, this *hic* stuff is awesome!" Sun cheered drunkenly.

"You *hic* said it!" Neptune exclaimed just as drunkenly.

"Yes! Another!" Fenris called to the bartender and ordered a refill of his mead and a mug of ale. "Let it be known that the students of Beacon Academy are good for two things: Slaying Grimm…. And pissing mead!" He yelled raising a glass as a chorus of cheers erupted. "Anyone who disagrees, will greet my fists with their face." He added as he continued drinking.

As this was going on, music was playing in the background, specifically music from the Mistralian bands Men of War, Siblings of Metal and the Atlas singer Beyton Parrish.

The second of those was an all faunus band that was insanely popular with faunus and particularly popular with the White Fang, and just so happened to be a band consisting of Fenris' brothers and sister.

"I think that's enough for one night." Luca said as he tried to stop Fenris from downing another mug.

"Oh shut up…" The wolf boy slurred, yanking his mug away from him. "Another!" He, Sun and Neptune called as they ordered yet another round.

"Oh damn it…" The multi-colored boy groaned before he spotted Team RWBY enter the bar and take some seats, though Weiss looked like she really didn't want to be present. "Why are you four here?" He asked as he approached them, getting their attention.

"I was going to try and get Weiss here to loosen up after the incident with Ozpin." Ruby shrugged.

"And maybe get that stick up her ass removed." Yang added.

"Shut up!" The whitette huffed.

"Well at least drink responsibly. They certainly aren't." Luca remarked, jutting his thumb at his team, who were getting more and more plastered with each mug they downed. Ruby took one look at Fenris as he drank and facepalmed.

"Oh damn it…" She groaned in exasperation and frustration.

"That's exactly what I said a moment ago, myself." The snake boy nodded with a sigh.

The silver eyed girl then sat next to the wolf boy and slowly got his inebriated attention.

"What're you doing here…? You shouldn't be here." He groaned, knowing she wasn't the right age yet.

"What're you doing?" Ruby questioned seriously.

"Relaxing." Fenris replied evenly, taking a sip of ale.

"Could've fooled me." The girl retorted before she grabbed his arm. "And I think you've had enough." She added.

"No I haven't!" The wolf boy shot back, yanking his arm away from her.

"I think Ruby may have a point here, so why don't you–." Blake started as she got her own club soda with gin and lemon.

"Quiet." The boy barked at the girl.

"Fenris, come on. Don't–" Yang started to say before she was cut off.

"I said QUIET!" He shouted at her drunkenly. This caused everyone to freeze as the rest of team CESN and RWBY looked at him and Yang as they were brought out of their stupors briefly, at least until Yang's eyes turned red.

Bad sign.

"That's it! Gimme the damn mug!" She growled, trying to take Fenris' mug from him, but he shoved her back and tried to throw it at her, only for him to miss and the mug to hit someone else instead.

The man it hit turned to Yang with a glare. And to make matters worse–he was wearing a White Fang rally jacket.

"Oh you gotta be fucking kidding me–." She groaned as the man slugged her in the face. Right as "the Mead Song" by Siblings of Metal started playing.

"Oh jeez, here we go…" Ruby groaned as things escalated with Yang punching back while everyone started punching each other. Luca, Blake and Weiss collectively looked at each other before sighing.

"Not the best end to a first day, in my opinion." Blake remarked.

"Agreed." The snake faunus nodded before grunting as a patron shoulder charged him into a wall. He quickly escaped this by using his semblance to displace himself as feathers and plop back to his seat while whipping the man around the neck and hurling him in the ceiling. "Not cool." He grumbled, continuing to enjoy the drink he'd been nursing since he got there.

Ruby, meanwhile, found herself having to kick aside drunk patrons against her own wishes with a light boost from her semblance to enhance her kicks.

Yang was also fighting two other patrons at once, and only had the upper hand due to being sober.

Weiss was, for all intents and purposes, panicking since she wasn't someone to be caught in bar fights. All she could do was try and avoid any attacks sent her way, even stray ones.

Blake… was just sitting next to Luca with her own drink, trying to stay out of the madness around the two of them.

"Why does it feel like we're the only sane ones on our teams?" She mused, taking a light sip.

"Oh tell me about it…" Luca sighed. This was one of the reasons he didn't enjoy bars that well.

It was at this point that Neptune was sent screaming across the bar as a large patron with ram horns drug his face across the bar table, knocking glasses around all the while.

And while that was going on, Sun was swinging from a chandelier, chugging mead and whacking the White Fang Ralliers who started to fight upside the heads with his gunchucks.

In the midst of the chaos, Ruby was able to get to Fenris again.

"Fenris, don't you think you've had enough?" She asked before yelping as she had to dodge a patron.

"Thinking too muuuuuuuuch…" He slurred before stumbling off.

"Oh for the love of–!" She groaned before yelping as a White Fang Rallier grabbed her, only for Ruby to flip the script and pin him to a table before she started punching him. Then Fenris came along and catapulted both of them to the second floor.

"Sorry about the mess." Luca sighed as he and the three non-fighting kids were getting ready to pay for the damages before the barkeep, a black man with well kept hair and fairly lax demeanor stopped them.

"That won't be necessary." He told them. "Here bar fights aren't uncommon, in fact they're even encouraged." He continued, much to the surprise of the Atlassian Heiress.

"What? Why?" She asked in confusion.

"Believe it or not, it actually helps with stress relief." The man replied.

"It also serves as a "hands off" training method for the bar-going Huntsman or Huntress who doesn't want to get rusty fighting something that isn't a Grimm." Another bartender, a Goat faunus with a single horn–the other being broken–and a long beard added, cleaning a glass.

"Sounds like the bars in Mistral, or Vacuo." Blake noted, having been to both in her… earlier days.

"I'm not even gonna ask…" Weiss decided.

"Let's just wait for this to die down." Luca sighed, taking another sip from his drink.

As if the universe wanted to make Luca suffer for saying that, Fenris suddenly grabbed a man who bore a suspicious resemblance to one of the guys Roman Torchwick worked with by the face and hurled him into the bar, causing the beer fountains to spray the three with ale.

"... I hate this." Weiss groaned in resignation as her face fell onto the bar counter.

"Same." Luca and Blake deadpanned in agreement.

(Later)

As the patrons all laid unconscious and the three out of four inebriated boys were now finished fighting–Sun and Neptune were unconscious and passed out drunk, while Fenris was downing his last mug of ale–a sausage chain around his neck–before he hit the ground with a thud. He was completely blackout drunk.

"Please tell me that's it…" Ruby groaned tiredly, looking pretty roughed up from the fight. Her hair was a mess and there were a few small rips in her clothes. Nothing big, just knife cut sized tears.

Yang finished her only mug of beer before wiping her mouth and burping. "Looks like it." The blonde shrugged.

"We should probably get these guys out of here." Blake noted.

"Agreed." Luca sighed, running a hand through his ale soaked hair. "I'll grab Neptune while you grab Sun." He added, moving to pick up his blue haired teammate, who was out cold.

"Gotcha." The black haired girl nodded as she picked up the monkey faunus.

"Me and Ruby can handle Fenris." Yang chimed as she and her sister hefted the wolf boy onto their shoulders.

True to form, Weiss made sure to close the tab for them.

The two teams then started making their way out of the bar, opting to take a moment to rest against the wall outside.

It was then that Fenris slowly started coming to his senses after getting piss drunk. "Oh… Alright. That was unpleasant." He groaned as he sat against the wall, head still clouded with alcohol.

"What were you thinking, Fenris?" Ruby sighed, kneeling next to him.

"I just wanted to help Luca get over what happened in the Dust lab today." Fenris replied with a groan.

"I appreciate the thought, really, but it wasn't remotely bad enough for me to want to drink it away." Luca told his leader with a sigh.

"To be fair, we all kinda needed a distraction after the emotional baggage we got through today." Neptune chimed in. "It wasn't just the Dust lab fiasco." He added before passing out again.

"What he said." Sun nodded, passing out as well.

"Well, I guess that's kinda fair." The snake faunus sighed.

"Kinda?" Ruby asked with a raised eyebrow.

"I don't know what else to say." He replied with a shrug.

"Let's just get back to Beacon so we can call it a night." Blake interjected as she hefted Sun over her shoulders.

"Sleep…" The wolf faunus groaned as he crashed to the ground, forcing the two sisters to carry him on their own.

And as they did, a familiar looking bird watched over them and shook his head in dismay, at least until he noticed that another bird like him was also watching them.

The bird flew to the other one and cawed before both transformed. One was Qrow and the other bore a resemblance to Yang but with red eyes and black hair. This was her mother, Raven.

"What're you doing here, Rae? You know you're not supposed to be away from Mistral, the Spring Maiden powers need to be kept there." The man told his sister.

"It's not like I can't pop back, Qrow, give me some credit." The woman scoffed, folding her arms. "... I was visiting Tai today–it was our anniversary. I couldn't just stay away." She added rather deflated with a turse sigh.

"Well I'm not gonna tear into ya for that." The drunkard shrugged. "I was here keeping an eye on Fenris, Ruby and Yang. I didn't expect them to get involved in a bar fight." He added with a facepalm.

"Wait…" The woman started, her eyes narrowing. "Ruby, who isn't legal for drinking yet, went into a bar? She got caught in a bar fight?!" She hissed. Ruby may not be her biological daughter, but that obviously didn't stop her from seeing her as family.

Especially not after Summer made her promise to look after both girls when she died, a promise the woman has tried to uphold.

But being a much more abrasive and overall curt woman and lacking in the motherly qualities of her best friend, she didn't raise them directly after she died.

In fact her bandit lifestyle and poor attitude when Yang was a baby was part of the reason why she and Tai broke up in the first place. She just wasn't ready to be a mother at the time.

Though, Qrow had noticed a change in recent years, and decided to inquire about the source of said change…

"... How's Lily doing?" The bad luck charm questioned as the two sat down, the man drinking from his flask.

"She's doing fine. Definitely shaping up to be a great fighter, that's for sure." The woman replied.

"Still can't believe you and Tai even got back together, especially after how you–." He stated before Raven cut him off.

"Let's not bring up the past." Raven said as she held up her hand. "We decided that we were going to try and make things work, so let's leave it at that. Alright?" She added.

"Even without seeing your daughters and not introducing them to Lily?" Qrow asked.

"That's not fair. You know why I can't do that." His sister hissed.

"Right… Right…" The bad luck charm sighed, taking another swig of his flask. "I better get back to Oz. See you whenever." He said before transforming and flying off.

"Hope you know what you're doing, trusting two Horsemen…" The woman sighed as she entered one of her portals and disappeared again.

Dragon Emperor0: First section of the Fixing RWBY part 2 done. That being episode 7. A bit less than usual but I think we added enough original content to make up for not covering a second episode. Also, yes, we did indeed make Remnant versions of Manowar, Brothers of Metal and Peyton Perrish just for this story. You're welcome.

ThermalsniperN7: And we also came up with the process for how Luca makes his Dust feathers. He actually has ways of making them from particle and crystal forms so he's not restricted… And then that blast ruined them. Hell, even Ozpin seems interested in Dust feathers. Just imagine making a fan out of them and sending a specific element with each wave of it!

Dragon Emperor0: True. Additionally, yes we are trying to make Raven far more sympathetic and less of a bitch here. Honestly, the way the show handled her character was atrocious. And while I enjoy most of the changes made in Fixing RWBY, leaving Raven's attitude largely unchanged was a missed opportunity on that part. Hopefully I can fix that. Also, it seems like our boys can stand a good bit of drinking. Fitting given they're descended from heavy drinkers.

ThermalsniperN7: Yeah, though Luca was the only one who took one drink and made it last. He was also one of three that didn't get involved in that bar fight. We based that off the one Thor started in GoW: Ragnarok, btw. That was awesome.

Dragon Emperor0: Additionally, expect more reference characters in this story as well. Including a reference character to Ratatoskr for example. Ya know Klein? Weiss' butler? Yeah, we're loosely basing our Remnant version of Ratatoskr on him slightly. Can't wait to introduce him, or anyone else for that matter.

ThermalsniperN7: Ah, fun times writing are great. See you next time, guys.
