Chapter CCLXXVII: The Final Battle Part III
"My gracious!" Balthier uttered finishing with a sigh, with a hand to his forehead.
"Look just let it go will ya! I didn't mean it!" Yuffie told him, annoyed with his demeanour.
"Well I should hope you didn't!" With that looking at the rest of the heroes who had gathered around the slowly dissolving door that would lead them all to possibly one of the grandest battles in all existence. He couldn't help but reprimand the Ninja and tell her, "For you forget we have something that I and my crew need to have returned to us, just as much as the rest of you!"
Irritated, Yuffie then said, "Look I don't know you guys too well yet, can you really expect me to remember every face that comes through here!?"
Balthier then retorted, "Well if you're supposed to be part of a Restoration Committee, then yes I do!"
Grumbling, Yuffie again was about to let him have more of a piece of her mind before-!
BOOM!
Balthier then turning around said, "Speaking of which!" For again another orb of light had been ripped from the ground and smashed straight through a nearby building! As it caused more destruction in its wake, the rest continued to do the same as they were being drained away into the dark swirling vortex that hung above them all.
Everyone was uneasy, for all this destruction was terrible to witness! So much to the point that even Ori had to even admit, "Yep, don't wanna get run over by one of those things! I don't think I'll be going through that vortex anytime soon!"
"Good decision," Ody told him. Then with that he tried to calm things down between the Ninja and Pirate, "Look I think this isn't the time to argue Balthier, Yuffie, I mean at least I remembered to get you all! We're all here now so we can all do something, right?"
Hearing this, Balthier stared at the spectacled blonde haired young man quietly before he said, "Very well then, but I should like it that there are no further missed cues, it does no good for the leading man!"
Yuffie then turned her head to the side as she uttered, "Could you be any more full of yourself!"
"Guys!"
It was then that everyone turned around, there they saw emerging from the ruins of the Radiant Gardens it was none other than the newly Knighted Keyblader Masters, Riku, Kairi and Sora who had called out to them all with a wave.
Seeing these three emerge, Balthier was quiet but then he couldn't help but admire their look, saying, "So, the supporting cast has arrived have they?" He also added, "I should get in contact with the wardrobe department and see if they have anything spare?"
Not hearing this joke though, Riku making it over with his close friends asked Mickey, "Your majesty? Has everyone made it here now, are we ready to go?"
Nodding, the mouse King replied, "Yep! I just checked the numbers and all our pals here!" With that looking to the barely held together door, he added, "We can go on through anytime!"
Pleased to hear this, Kairi then said with a smile, "That's good!"
Merlin standing near them keeping his concentration had to ask, "And you lads, are you done with your preparations?"
With a keen nod, Sora then replied, "You bet! I nearly spent all the Munny I had just to make sure we'd have enough for ourselves!" But he had to admit, "Though I just wish the Moogles would lower the prices for Elixirs, or at least make some of the recipe items cheaper for them!"
"That'll never happen no matter what crisis is going on," Riku added. However feeling pressed for time and looking to the pink Sakura Blossom in his hand he asked, "So can we all just go now?"
"Not just yet lad," everyone was surprised at hearing this, they were about to ask why when-!
"Captain Merlin!"
"Ah! Speaking of which!" It was then making it onto the scene, it was none other than the law enforcer of the town upon his trusty pal, Bonkers and Coco!
The Bobcat and Chocobo quickly making it over asked, "What's happenin' we haven't missed the party have we?"
With a smile, Merlin then said, "Oh no lad, we haven't quite started yet, but tell me have you managed to bring them all along?"
With a salute, Bonkers then said, "Yep! We got them ASAP! Though they've grumbled all way here from the jail!"
Puzzled, Sora asked, "Jail?"
"Urgh! I hate this!"
Hearing this angry feminine tone, it was then the Keybladers turned and saw a red pigtailed purple dressed girl and following her was a long white coat hooded young man, both were clearly unhappy as they trudged on with handcuffs on their wrists.
Seeing them, Kairi recognised them partially and asked, "Wait? Weren't they a part of the Carnival?"
"I think you're right?" Then as he stared at them both, Sora finally remembered, "Oh yeah! The red girl was that angry waitress and the white coated guy was with Juan, an assistant or something?"
Hearing this, Irma looking to the Keyblader demanded mad, "Who are you calling a waitress, you dumb porcupine!"
Baffled at this insult, Sora repeated confused, "Porcupine?"
Kairi just laughed and Riku struggled to contain himself. For no-one had ever called Sora that before!
Merlin, coughing though said, "Now now lass, this is not the time to be flinging insults, you have a sentence still to carry out!"
It was then a particular voice cried out, "That's not true!" Everyone saw one of Irma's Chocobo's speak up, it was the peppermint green Greeble who said, "According to my calculations, we've already served our sentence! It's past the seventy two hours you all decided on and the Carnival's already finished!"
"Yeah what he said!" The pink chubby Chocobo Peekaboo spoke up and added, feeling famished, "And I haven't had a good thing to chomp on in forever, I miss my snack pack!"
Then the dark one amongst them, Volg already realised what was going on as he said, "No they have a small loophole on their hands that they're using against us."
Surprised by this, Greeble asked, "What loophole?"
"Easy!" It was then Snow walked over and gave it to them straight, "We weren't able to fully host the Carnival for a full day and night! That's why you guys are still in the jail!"
Gandrake finally spoke up as he asked annoyed, "That's your dumb reason?"
"It ain't dumb dude!" Musashi walked up with his bike in hand and added, "The town's still being wrecked to heck and back! So until we all get it all fixed again and the Carnival can go off without a hitch, I say you dudes aren't gonna get out anytime soon!"
With surprise seeing it was the chilled samurai giving them the details of their situation, they were all quiet for a moment. However Grandrake then said mad turning his face away from him, "It's still dumb hearing it come out of your mouth!"
"What'd you say!" Musashi was about to let Gandrake have more of a piece of his mind when-!
"Children! Children! This is not the time for this!"
Quickly stilling the hostile air before it could get any worse, Merlin had spoken up. Then looking at the group of criminals with critical eyes as he continued his concentration, he told them, "Now time is of the essence, our right to freewill is at stake, also we must recover those who have been lost to the oblivion of forgetfulness! The worlds are in the deepest of perils you can't possibly imagine!"
Irma not understanding him repeated, "Forgetfulness?"
"Well we're not here to keep going on about that," With that Snow walked over to the wizard and as he did, he was passed something. Then making it back over to the criminals, he quickly undid both Gandrake and Irma's handcuffs. As this happened and they looked to the leader of the ARCS confused, he told them, "What we need from you guys now is firepower, to take down the new big bad guy!" With a smirk he also added, "You don't want someone else stealing your jobs do you?"
Staring at him, Irma though turned her face away and said, "I'm not thanking you for this!"
"Never expected you to!" Snow smiled. With that, he looked over and said, "Leon, Musashi, I trust you guys can keep an eye on these two?"
"Oh I'll keep an eye out alright!" With that as Irma went ahead of him, Musashi added, "I'll keep a real close one!"
Leon walking over told Gandrake, "C'mon let's go!" The samurai then followed after the Gunblader grudgingly.
Having watching this all play out, Riku said, "Okay I guess this is it then, let's get going!"
"Right!" Sora agreed and Kairi quietly nodded as they followed their friend towards the door.
However Greeble worried cried out seeing he and his fellow Chocobos were being left out, "Hey! Why aren't you taking us with you!? Where are you all going!?"
"To face Xehanort, it'll most likely be our final fight with him!" With that Riku said no more and immediately put his hands to the door and opened it, so all the heroes could proceed through!

SWISH! SWISH! SWISH! SWISH! SWISH!
All around him, as the Door of Light continued to grow in size. The number of Heartless that surrounded Xehanort were increasing dramatically too, all of them growing from the huge numbers of Hearts that had trailed behind him that he had taken from the World that Never was! All of them ready and hungry to devour the source of miracles and people's will to live, Kingdom Hearts!
It was three quarters of the way complete and as he grinned at it's increasing size and majesty, he said with anticipation, "Just a little more...!"
SHINE!
"Hm?" Feeling this radiance, he turned around and there he saw in the faraway distance almost in the same place where he had emerged from. A light was shining, looking on he was quiet... but quickly he realised what was going on.
Looking to the Keyblade in his hand, he asked the Vessels, "So this your last desperate ploy is it?" However there came no response to his question. This he preferred immensely.
However remembering the past encounters he'd had with the Keybladers. He didn't fancy then engaging with them, however at the same time he knew he couldn't just let them wander up to him... so after a little deliberation, he decided, "Well, how about I send a warm reception their way!"
With that he started to initiate his orders to his Heartless, as well as giving them suitable upgrades...!

Making it to through the Door at last, everyone came upon the dark desolate world that the Door of Light was supposed to be. Staring at it all as he walked in with his friends and comrades following behind him, Sora couldn't help but ask, "This is where the Door is supposed to be found?"
For whenever he had pictured where it would be, he'd always imagined something akin to a paradise, full of light warmth and life. This place was the total opposite to that!
Kairi couldn't help but agree as she saw the ruins all around them, "It's so chilling here!"
Riku himself looking at the ruins of the buildings that were around him, couldn't help but ask, "What was this place supposed to be originally?"
Mickey walking behind them then said, "I think this place might be the ruins of the Kingdom of Light!"
"Kingdom of Light?" Sora asked him puzzled.
With a nod, Mickey then explained, "Yeah this place was probably where the Warrior of Light came from, that was mentioned in Yen Sid's story... though of course when everything fell into chaos cause of Garland, the whole place must have been abandoned."
"Makes sense," As Riku said those words and walked forwards, it was then-!
SHINE!
He looked up and there in the faraway distance over what look like mountains of some kind, at the top most peak of that dead world. Was a tall shining white shape, with something glowing over it! Seeing it, he called out, "Look there!"
Immediately it was then all of the heroes who were present saw it with him! Looking on, curious Lighting with Hope beside her, heard her Apprentice ask, "Is that supposed to be the Door of Light?"
"Couldn't be anything else in this dead space could it?" She answered.
There was no dispute there! Though looking at the faraway distance it was, at that top most peak of this dark world, there was now one major problem. "How're we supposed to cover this vast distance! We'll never make it if we gotta go fast!" Ori cried out.
"Ha! Ha!"
Surprised, it was then they saw that it was Snow who laughed out loud. As he did, he said, "Well that's why we all made it here isn't it! Some of us here can make fast tracks in this world!"
Juan hearing this was quiet, however after a moment he asked, "You've got powers like Nightcrawler amigo?"
Blinking at him, Snow asked, "Who's that?"
However stopping the discussion before it occurred, Sazh walked over and said, "I think the better way to explain is to give everyone a demonstration!" With that the afro haired gunman walked forwards. Then focusing with all his magical potential, he began to glow vibrantly all over with red power, before he cried out, "I summon Brynhildir Gestalt Mode!" With that he threw a red summon Gem stone in the air and-!
BLAST! BLAST! BLAST! BLAST!
He fired into it and quickly in seconds, it seemed to explode into a fire of red creating a giant ball of fire! Everyone watched in amazement, as then a red metallic shape emerged from within the inferno!
It was a huge red vehicle, red in colour with golden lines decorated all over it, making it the most incredible race car anyone had ever seen! It was a luxurious and powerful sight to behold, no-one could believe it!
"Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! Amigo you never told me you could call a coche de carreras senorita!" Juan cried out.
Laughing, Sazh then told his fellow gunner, "Well I just never had the space or right time to show ya!" Then as the door of luxurious ride opened, he asked, "Plus with some help from Merlin all our summons are gonna last a real long time here! Now what do ya say, you want a catch a ride?"
Instantly there was no debate as Juan replied, "Does Bowzer breath fire! Absolutamente!" With that he ran straight over to get in the back passanger seat!
Scratching his head not knowing what his friend was talking about, Sazh though simply smiled at his usual antics. However he then heard, "Daddy?"
Turning he saw there in the opened doorway still within the light of the Radiant Gardens was his son. The young boy looked to his father worried and asked him, "You will be coming back won't you, it won't be for long will it?"
Hearing him ask this question, the gunner walked over and bending down he patted his head and told him, "Course it won't be Dajh, I'll be back real soon don't worry, afterall." With that he grinned and added, "We got another carnival to look forward to together don't we?"
The young boy was quiet but thinking of the future happy times they'd share, he smiled brightly and nodded, "Yeah!"
Glad he was able to cheer his son up, Dajh smiled warmly. Then getting up, he asked a couple of good guardians, "Bonkers, Coco, you both look out for Dajh here for me okay?"
The bobcat saluted immediately and told him, "Aye! Aye! Sazh, we won't let ya down!"
"Kweh!" Came Coco's bright reply!
Pleased, Sazh then headed up to his ride Brynhildir and got ready to take off!
Snow pleased with this demonstration, then said, "Okay! Now everyone who's got a ride that they can make, you better hop to it!" For it was quickly his turn!
SHINE!
"Shiva Gesalt Mode!"
In seconds, in a flurry of snow and ice, his wondrous blue, white and gold motorcycle transport arrived and as it did, all of the heroes in turn got their own rides ready before they all organised who would go with who!

Looking at all his Heartless, who had now been 'Upgraded' as they clicked and clacked with thier improvements upon their shadowed bodies, he told them all, "Now go, greet all our guests! Give them an event they will never forget!"
In seconds the Heartless in vast swarms started to descend down the rocky mountainous chasms, to devour their new prey! As they all left, Xehanort couldn't help but admire the glow of their haunting yellow eyes in the darkness, as he looked ahead to the light of the pitiful door they had come through, he couldn't help but ask, "I just wonder how long you'll be able to survive against my leigions?" Then-!
"RRROOOAAARRRR!"
"Hm?" Curious he looked above and there he saw much to his delight, more haunting eyes that shone from high on above. As they all looked down to him, he couldn't help but smile a little more as he said, "So even you're all ready now are you?"
SHAKE! SHAKE! SHAKE! SHAKE! SHAKE!
Feeling their heavy steps shake the ground around him, he said, "I suppose that was rather foolish to ask?" Then looking to where his countless leigions were going he told them, "Well, you better go and join them." With those words the new terrible monstrosities went to do so, impacting the area around them with heavy damage as they left.
Xehnort was quiet as he then felt-!
SWOOSH! SWOOSH! SWOOSH!
More of his larger Heartless fly on ahead, leaving powerful blasts of wind in their wake. As they left too, he couldn't help but say, "They should watch out down there." With that turning back towards his growing Door of Light, he finished saying, "For the larger something is, the more ravenous it is in nature...!"

"Bahamut! Come forth!"

There emerging from her dazzling shining Summon Gem, it was none other than Alania's powerful dragon. He was as majestic with his dark coloured scales and his wide, orange and pink wings spreading out widely ready to take flight!
As he landed upon his golden claws bowing down to his Summoner, Alania smiled and told him, "I've been looking forward to riding you again!" With that she hopped on up, doing this she turned and said, "Okay you guys, you get on and up here too!"
Ori and Saria couldn't believe their eyes! However the pink haired Archer Nobody was never going to say no to this! "This is gonna be so awesome riding a dragon!"
All that Saria could do was laugh though as it was clear she was nervous. But before she climbed up, she heard-!
"Guys!"
It was then the Nobodies all turned and there they saw within the opened doorway it was those who'd become good friends to them. Pence, Olette and Heyner.
As the group of three looked to their Nobody friends, it was then that Pence said, "Good luck out there!"
Nodding, Olette added, "Yeah please be careful!"
Then finally Heyner said, "Come back in one piece! We've still got a house to makeover together don't we?"
Saria hearing this was quiet for a moment. However smiling glad for the conncetions she and the others had made, she told them for everyone, "Don't worry we will! You all just stay safe there too!"
The group of three all each confirmed they would, with Pence smiling, Olette pulling her hands up in prayer, while Heyner finished giving her a thumbs up.
With that Saria climbed up onto Bahamut with a helpful hand given by Ori. With that finally all the heroes were ready!
Araxne stood upon her massive Dusk creation Spridron, with Leon and Yuffie either side of her. While behind with a sword by his side under the watchful eye of the other Nobody who was riding with them Meixeng, it was none other than Gandrake, who uttered, "Of all things to ride a giant spider!"
The Master of the enormous white arachnid then said, "One more word of complaint out of you, I will bandage your mouth shut!"
"Oh, I'm so scared!" Gandrake taunted and then-!
FWIP! FWIP! FWIP!
Suddenly Gandrake's mouth was sealed shut by long white bandages that escaped the ends of Araxne's long sleeves!
Meixeng seeing this, then told him with a laugh, "Well it's not like you weren't warned!"
Leon beside Yuffie who was smiling, then looked over to where he had sent the other half of the criminal duo and said, "I just hope she doesn't cause trouble for her group."
The people that Irma who had been assigned to was none other than Musashi who was now on his motorcycle. He had Noel behind him, along with Saruliana who held onto her friends middle and finally at the back was the red haired sorceress.
Annoyed she complained, "Why do I have to stay in the back!?"
"Because you're covering us for long distance attacks, you are a magic user right?" Saruliana asked her, not pleased with her attitude.
"Hmph!" Turning her head away from the long blue haired beauty, Irma uttered, "A woman of my caliber should always be at the front!"
Saruliana though only rolled her eyes, as she did she heard-!
"Noel! Saruliana!"
It was then both Guardian and her turned, there they saw with her deer teddy in her hands was the youngest of their trio, Yeul. As she looked to them with her green eyes, she told them, "Please come back safely! I don't want to lose either of you!"
To which in seconds, Noel told her, "Don't you worry Yeul, just stay with the others in the Gardens, they'll keep you safe!"
Saruliana then smiled to her too and said, "Yeah and we'll be back faster than you think! We still have lots of catching up to do right?"
Hearing this, Yeul smiled despite her worries and said, "Yeah we do!"
It was clear this was more than enough, as the warmth of the three radiated against the dismal darkness of the space they were in.
Musashi grinned and then said, "You got that right dudes! we'll be back faster than ya think! My bike's the fastest one around here!" However as he looked to his leader, he couldn't help but say, "Though I can't wait to race against Commander Snow and see who can burn rubber faster!"
"You would!" Irma uttered annoyed, but before she could do anything else-!
"Lady Irma!"
It was then she saw her own Chocobos look at her from the door. As they did, she heard Greeble and Peekaboo tell her, "Make it back faster than the speed of light, kay?" "Yeah! We'll get ya munchies ready for ya to chow on!"
Then finally Volg with a calm expression on his face told her, "I'll be waiting for you Lady Irma, teach those who face you who's truly queen of the worlds!"
Silent hearing this, Irma though couldn't help but reveal a smile as she said, "But of course, I would never show no less!"
Mushashi then uttered to Noel and Saruliana quietly, "Glad her ego's been pumped up, huh?" To which the two couldn't help but laugh at, as Irma looked back to them with irritation.
Seeing this discussion occur, Balthier sitting upon his chosen ride couldn't help but say, "I must say, though you're rough in image, this vechile of yours I find quite impressive Snow!"
To which the leader of the Arcs looking to his passanger behind him, replied, "Thanks for the compliment!" However he couldn't belp but ask his second passanger, "Are you sure you're gonna be alright there, Miss...?"
"Fran," came her response. Then as she made herself more comfortable behind Balthier, she stated, "And I am perfectly suited here, it's a better position for aiming." To which she put her hand behind her back, ready to draw her bow whenever it was needed.
"Fair enough!" Snow replied, though he had to tell her, "Can't guarantee it will be an easy ride, but it'll be something alright!"
"As long as we get to shine in the limelight, I don't see any issue!" Balthier joked.
Snow smiling then heard, "You know I wish I could go with you," Turning he quickly saw his fiancee was there with them.
"Serah! You shouldn't be here it's gonna be too dangerous for you soon!" He told her worried.
"Yeah I know," She said sadly. Though she couldn't help but joke coming closer to him, "I should have taken up archery or something shouldn't I?"
Snow though tried to comfort her, "You're my greatest strength, I mean that always whether you have a weapon or not!" He told her, stroking her hair. Then as he did this, he added, "I'll fix the hole that's hurting your heart, the one that's hurting everyone here, I'll help in returning what was lost you wait and see!"
With a nod, she told him, "I know you will!" Then moving to his cheek, she laid a gentle kiss there. Before she smiled and left through the door telling him, "Just don't leave me waiting at the altar!"
"Never dream of it!" He laughed back to her!
"Hey!"
Looking up, it was then everyone saw flying down upon her horse formed Summon Odin. It was Lighting who now was a little annoyed at the intimate moment asked, "Are you all ready yet?"
"Yeah we've got to get going you know!" It was then Hope spoke up, sitting behind his instructor.
"Seems like it to me!" Snow said still smiling, however as he did-!
"Hey boss!"
Turning around, it was then Balthier recognising that voice saw that his crewmate had run over with a few girls behind him, who he knew to be Shirma, Aerith and Hanahime.
"Ah, Zidane! What's troubling you?" He asked.
Zidane making it over, then explained, "We haven't got anything to ride! Everyone's fully loaded, there's no room for us!"
"Oh?" Then looking over him to the white mages, who looked anxious he commented, "That is most troubling, for I know there aren't too many here who are profficent in the healing arts."
Nodding Shirma said, "Yeah, I know you guys are going to need all the help you can get, but we can't be just extra baggage dragging everyone down!"
Sighing hearing this, Aerith then stated, "Makes me wish I had a drivers liscence, or at least Cid had fixed up his old truck before all this!"
"And we can't rely on old red here to fly us up can we?" To which Zidane turned his eyes to look at Vincent.
"My powers don't extend that far," The demonic gunner told the monkey tailed pirate.
"If I was bigger I could fly us...!" Ruby said sadly, as he sat on his majesty's shoulder.
"That would be something," Hana told him, stroking his head gently with a sad smile.
Hearing this discussion, Riku, Sora and Kairi were already prepared. But they were troubled by this too and looking to the Mouse king, the white haired Keyblader asked him, "Is there nothing we can do for them?"
Shaking his head, Mickey replied, "I don't think so...unless we had better magic in our hands." Then it occurred to him, "Donald, could you do something?"
As this question was put to him, the white duck tapped his foot in thought. Then he sighed after a moment and admitted, "Sorry Mickey, my specilty is transforming but I can't make it anything bigger, the only one I could think of who could do that would be-!"
"I might be of help dears!"
"Huh?" It was then surprising everyone, they all turned around and suddenly-!
SHINE!
There appearing out of nowhere, was someone Sora hadn't seen in sometime as she appeared in a flash of sparkling blue magic! Looking at her, he couldn't believe it, then with a smile he cried, "Fairy Godmother!"
In her long blue dress and hood with the pink bow tied neatly around her neck, she made a small bow and said, "It's been a while Sora!"
Looking at her he asked, "What're you doing here?"
"I'm here to assist, at the behest of Merlin and Yen Sid of course!" Then looking over in a certain direction, she asked, "Now who was it that said they wished to be bigger?"
Hearing this, the red robin couldn't believe it and immediately flying over he said, "Oh me! It was me, I did!"
"Wait Ruby!" Hana cried out. With that running over, she said quickly, "You can't just rush into this!"
However looking to his princess he told her, "But you need to all go and I'm the only one here who can help, there aren't too many of us who can fly are there?"
Hearing him say this, she couldn't argue this point but she had to tell him, "You know if you become bigger than you are, I won't be able to protect you as well! I wouldn't be able to-!"
"I know what danger is!" Ruby told her, "I've been through enough with Irma, I'm sure I can cope with this too, as long as you're with me..."
As he said these words, Hana was still worried but she knew he was telling the truth. Feeling warmed by this, she said, "Oh Ruby...!" Then cuddling him gently in her hands against her cheek, she looked to the Fairy Godmother and as she did, she asked, "It won't hurt him will it?"
The calm blue dressed fairy reassured her and said, "Of course not dear, he'll be fine."
"Okay then," With that Hana released Ruby from her hands and he fluttered before the Blue fairy. As she stood back some distance with the others to see the magic come into play!
Watching, everyone saw the Fairy Godmother wave her white wand about making sparkles of magic frolic about everywhere before she unleashed her power!
"Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo!"

Miraculously in seconds, the little red robin who once could have fit in the palm of someone's hand grew to a huge height! He was practically the same height of an elephant! Everyone was amazed to no extent!
"Whoa!" Then looking to the blue fairy, Sora said, "I didn't know you could make things that big!?"

There was no hesitation and quickly Zidane, Shirma, Aerith and Hana with Vincent following behind climbed on him! All of them relieved that they could help too with the upcoming fight!
Though she was glad for them, the Fairy Godmother though coughing into her hand said, "Now you mustn't dawdle any longer!" Then as she uttered this-!

The door was breaking apart again as more orbs were escaping from it's frames! As it was everyone was on edge in seconds!
"Oh no!" Shirma cried out.
However the Fairy Godmother was ready and with a wave of her wand, she released another spell,

In seconds her magic came and covered the door which fortunately stopped any more from escaping! At least for a short while, but knowing it wouldn't last, she told them, "With Merlin with me, I can only keep it this way for so long! You must accomplish your feat as fast as you can!"
"Right we will!" Then Riku looking to Ody asked him, "Are we ready?"
With a firm nod, the spectacled Nobody replied, "Yeah! Of course!" With that he called out, "Scriptium! It's time, let's go!"

With that in moments the giant living quill that was his weapon and friend ignited into flames and immediately her body became long and sleek, as two massive ember shedding wings opened up revealing her dragon form she hadn't taken in sometime!
"Wow!" Kairi couldn't believe it and said, "I can't believe she can turn into a dragon!"
Ody then smiled and said, "Now you know why I'm called the Flaming Scripter!"
"You've certainly earned it!" Sora said with a smile.
With those words, Scriptium landed after a few flaps before lowering herself down and using one of wings as a stairway waited for them to board.
Seeing this, Pete nervous had to ask, "We're not gonna catch on fire on her are we?"
Laughing Ody assured Pete telling them all, "It's okay, Scriptium's flames only burns those that she sees as a threat," with that the giant dragon moved her head to her Master. Stroking her gently as she did this, Ody then said, "She trusts you all because I do, because we're all allies here right?"
"You're right there!" Goofy smiled, then petting Scriptium too he said, "We're all buds here!" The dragon's red eyes smiled at this.
Then the Keybladers, Mickey, Donald, Goofy and finally Pete hopped on board with Ody joining them. As they all made it safely onto her back, quickly they were lifted high into the air by the beats of her powerful wings!
As they ascended they all started to fly forwards into the darkened distance. As they did, the King then announced, "C'mon fella's! Time's a wastin'!"
There was no disagreement and quickly-!

Musashi, Snow and Sazh took off and quickly running behind them at top notch speed was Spidron as Araxne hurried it forwards!
Seeing them go, Lightning asked, "You ready?"
With a firm nod, Hope told her, "I've been ready for forever! I gotta prove to you I got what it takes to be a part of the Guard Patrol!"
"You better not disappoint me then!" Lightning said and with that they road fast and high into the air!
"Here we go Bahamut!" With that her dragon took off too and followed after them!
"Let's go Ruby!" Hana said, patting him gently!
"You got it!" With that the giant red robin running quickly took off and went to catch up to their friends!
As they all raced on high into the air, Riku was glad to see that everyone was there by their sides in the air and the land. For he knew this battle was one that he and friends couldn't fight on their own.

Then looking on, he quickly saw the glow of thousands of yellow haunting eyes in the Darkness. The Heartless were swarming in massive numbers as they descended the mountain and through the air towards them! This was it! Xehanort was going to hit them with everything he had! But they were ready for him!
Gripping his armoured hand against Scriptium's warm flames, he looked to the pink Blossom in his other free one. As he did, he said quietly, "Don't worry we're coming! Just wait for us!" With that the band of heroes proceeded on, towards the Door of Light, to take down the Master of the Heartless who'd stolen those they'd all deemed as precious...!
