Chapter CCXCII: The Final Battle Part XVIII

"Curaga!"

SHINE!

"Whoa!" Gasping, as she felt the shining green healing powers of the magical spell throughout her body, Yuffie looked up and said, "Thanks there Nozomi...you've really patched me up here!"

Nodding, the female Keyblader replied, "It's okay!" With that helping Leon up, as he consumed one of the healing potions that Mickey had given her, she then added recovering from her own paralysis, "I'm just glad... that we've been given a brief moment for recovery."

For then looking up, towards Xehanort who continued to hold his hurt limb in his left hand, she then said, "Any chance for some reprieve for us, is something of a miracle right now!"

"You said it!" With that getting up with some still lingering aches, Yuffie said, "I wish we'd have another miracle right about now so we could-!"

CRACK! CRACK!

Hearing these new breaks, the three of them were on high alert! Looking up then too, Leon asked, "What's that?"

Nozomi realised what it was and said, "It's the Fifth Fragment, it's Reeve, he's being-!"

SMASH!

"AAAGGGHHH!"

In seconds, they then saw that the yellow jewel upon Xehanort's right hand smashed into pieces! Leaving no trace that it was ever there! Then as well-!

DIM...!

The yellow shield of light that he'd used to imprison them, was disappearing too making his extra limbs fall beside either side of him! Amazed, Nozomi then excitedly corrected herself and said, "No! He's just been saved!" Then seeing the fading light of their cage, she added, "And now it means that Xehanort doesn't have the Shield anymore! We can lay damage against him now!"

Surprised, Yuffie then asked, "Are you serious!?"

To which, Nozomi nodded quickly and replied, "Yeah! I am," then looking to everyone else who was were all still suffering, trying to move, she said with come concerned worry, "But, everyone still needs patching up! If we were all ready right now, we could-!"

"I'll leave that job up to you!"

"Huh?" Puzzled, Nozomi then saw that Leon was now standing up properly, as he did wiping his mouth, with determination as he was now fully healed. Looking to him, she asked, "Wait, you want me to be the one to-?"

"You're one of the fastest here," Leon told her, with that he got his Gunblade ready. Holding it in both his hands, getting its mechanisms prepared, he added, "So if anyone can get our comrades back up on their feet, it's you right now, Nozomi."

Hearing the first ever compliment that she was sure that Leon had given her, Nozomi wanted to pinch herself to see if she was dreaming. But there wasn't time for that, so instead she replied, "Okay, you got it Leon!" However she then asked, "But wait, what're you two going to do?"

"Give some overdue payback!" Leon replied, with that he went running!

Seeing him do this, Nozomi was shocked and cried out, "Wait, Leon!"

Yuffie though at first startled, quickly smiled and said, "Looks like he agrees with me now!" With that she went to chase after him, then looking back to the Keyblader she told her, "You just hurry, Nozomi!" Then drawing out her Shuriken, she said with a smirk, "We'll take care of things here!" With that she ran to join her partner!

Seeing them go, Nozomi at first couldn't believe it! However, remembering what they'd been through, she didn't have the right to stop them. So she took off to go and help the others, however she added as she ran, "You two just be careful!" With that she began her quest to do some fast healing!

"No...!"

Feeling the loss of more of his acquired powers, as his right hand hurt immensely, Xehanort couldn't believe it! He no longer had the Shield, the first Fragment he'd been able to take. Without that he-!

"Yuffie let's go!"

Hearing this voice, Xehanort looked down and then he saw-!

SLASH!

Quickly a certain long-haired warrior was using his weapon to cut into his chest! He could feel the damage from the attack, as it made a large gashing splintering red line in his enormous body! However, without the shield Fragment, he couldn't simply repel him, he was-!

"HHHAAA!"

Hearing his enraged battle cry as he made his way up to him, made Xehanort become outraged. Gritting his teeth feeling all this pain, he demanded, "What do you think you're-!"

"Oh no ya don't!"

Hearing this shout, Xehanort turned to see where it was coming from, when-!

"Shining Gauntlet!"

SHINE!

Suddenly a blast of light was unleashed on him! It quickly blinded him and he felt a fierce burning strike hit him in the face. Angered, he then remembered that voice, looking down as his sight quickly returned, he spat mad,

"You revolting cur!"

He then saw the young ninja woman, catch her Shuriken again in her hand. As she looked at him with a smug smile, she told him mockingly, "Made ya look!"

Not understanding her words, Xehanort then heard-!

"Lion's Heart!"

Turning to look down again, the monstrous man then saw-!

FLASH!

Another blinding light shine forth! However this one didn't burn instead-!

SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH!

He felt cut after cut, after endless cut slice straight into his face! As he flinched from each blow, his mind was racing within, trying to think of what options he had left to use!

TWIST! TWIST! TWIST! TWIST! TWIST!

"Tch!" As they both continued to descend into the darkness of the Interfusing Realm, turning to look behind them, Riku then said angered, "They just keep growing don't they!?"

"Yeah!" Sora agreed, then he added as he saw more approaching them from on ahead, "And they won't let us off the hook, for stealing its master's treasures!" However thinking of what he said, he smiled and corrected himself, "But our friends were never his to begin with, so he's nothing but a dirty thief anyway!"

Surprised he said this, Riku was quiet for a moment. Then he laughed and said, "Good description!" With that they then both moved together with their joined Alliance Blades and then they declared their attack,

"FURIOUS CRIMSON SUNDERING SAW!"

SLICE! SLICE! SLICE! SLICE! SLICE!

With that they cut straight through the wall of thorns that had come to try and ensnare them again! As they continued to fly down, Riku looked about everywhere to see if he could see any sign of their remaining comrade, "Do you see her anywhere, Sora?"
Looking about himself hurriedly, the Chosen Keyblader replied, "No, not yet!" Then as they pushed on faster through the Darkness, he said, "But Kairi's gotta be here somewhere! I'm sure that she's okay! That she's-!"

SHINE!

Suddenly down below a yellow light was shining amongst the dark abyss! Seeing this, Sora asked surprised, "That yellow glow, could it be-?"

"Yeah it must be!" Riku replied, then looking behind and seeing the barrage of thorns that were still coming after them. He said, "We better make tracks and get down to her fast!"

Sora hearing his best friend say these words, nodded with determination. Then with smiles, upon both their faces they continued their fast descent as the terrible thorns continued to multiply and chase after them!

TWIST! TWIST! TWIST! TWIST! TWIST!

Annoyed as she continued to run forwards, seeing the thorns coming to grab her from all sides. Kairi looking at them all, cried out, "Quit chasing me!" With that she moved her right hand and-!

SHINE!

Quickly the bright yellow glow of the Fifth Fragment came, and quickly the terrible plant shoots collided straight into it! Stopping them in their tracks.

Seeing the result of his power, Kairi smiled and said as they continued to run together, "You're power's so useful here Reeve!"

"I'm glad to be of service!"

Pleased to hear this, Kairi was about to say more when-!

FLASH! FLASH! FLASH! FLASH! FLASH!

Feeling this new radiance of light, she quickly looked up into the darkness. There she saw intense flashes of red and orange power, as she did, she asked, "What is that?"

"Shall I help you get a better look?"

Surprised, Kairi asked, "Oralee, you can do that?"

"Of course, let me show you!"

GLOW!

Quickly Kairi's body glowed with pink light, and then suddenly her eyes could see better in the dark! As they did, she could see clearly that approaching them from the darkness from above, it was none other than, "Sora, Riku!" Crying this out with a happy smile, she then said, "They're coming this way!"

"That's great!"

"Yeah!" But before Kairi could say anything more to her fellow princess-!

TWIST! TWIST! TWIST! TWIST! TWIST!

She saw to her horror, that the two of them were being chased by more of the atrocious thorns! Seeing them she couldn't believe it, "They're even growing up there!?"

"Its because we're surrounded by all sides, by Xehanort's power, as long as we remain in this treacherous space, he can summon them from anywhere endlessly."

Hearing Reeve's explanation, Kairi then knew what their next course of action was, "So the faster we get out of here, the quicker we get away from these things!"

"Correct!"

Glad for the confirmation, Kairi then said, "We need to race up to meet them!"

"How do we do that though?"

"I don't know, Oralee," Kairi replied. Then as she tried to think, she couldn't help but admit, "It'd be great if I had abilities similar to Nozomi right now, if I could hop from orb to orb, we could...!"

"Kairi? Are you alright?"

Hearing her friend's concerned voice, Kairi then replied as the idea struck her, "I just got it, I know how we can all get up there!"

"You do?"

As Oralee's surprised tone came, Kairi replied, "Yeah!" Then with her hand on her heart, she said, "Reeve, I'll need your help again for this!"

"Very well, do what you need to!"

Smiling from his confirmation, Kairi then moved her right hand out and-!

TWIST! TWIST! TWIST! TWIST! TWIST!

Seeing the thorns multiplying more behind them, Sora and Riku went to quickly move! As they did, the chosen Keyblader cried out, "Don't get in our way!" With that the two of them called out their combined technique,

"SOARING BREAK!"

SHINE!

Quickly the powers of the Third and Eighth Fragment were combined together and the thorns that were coming for them from behind, were immediately frozen and cast back into the upper levels!

Pleased at this result, Sora cried out, "We did it!"

Riku nodded and was about to reply, when-!

"HHHHIIIISSSS!"

Hearing this monstrous cry, the two of them looked above to see a new monstrosity appearing from the darkness!

"What the heck is that!?"

"I don't know, Timbre!" Sora told his friend, he couldn't see what it was clearly until-!

SLITHER! SLITHER! SLITHER! SLITHER! SLITHER!

The thorns revealed the new monstrosity Xehanort had called forth! There before them, sliding down from the dark abyss. Was a massive insectile like creature with six long creepy thin legs, and on either side of its main sharp fanged body, came out two longer appendages that had sharper pincers!

Seeing this thing, filled them both with alarm! Seeing it, Sora shuddered, and he heard-!

"A Whip Spider!?"

Hearing Jona cry this out, Sora asked her, "A what!?"

"It's a type of arachnid, like a spider and they're-!"

There was no time though for Jona though to finish her explanations, as-!

SNAP! SNAP!

"HEY!"

"AH!"

Suddenly the two of them were grabbed by the massive insect monstrosity, as it shot out it's whip like pincer ends!

Feeling the terrible pinch of the monsters, Riku cried out, "Hey! Let go!" With that he tried to move with Sora, to use their combined Alliance Blade against it when-!

TWIST! TWIST! TWIST! TWIST! TWIST!

"Urgh!" Quickly more thorns grew out from behind the monster and stopped their movements, as they grabbed onto the weapon and their bodies! Seeing this, Riku was horrified and then-!

FLASH!

In seconds the two of them were pulled apart, and in seconds their combined weapon was divided becoming their single forms again. They didn't have the way to fight out of this!

They were both shocked and then-!

"HHHHIIIISSSS!"

The two of them were being drawn closer to the monstrosity, as it was pulling its appendages back towards itself, and there coming fast to meet them, were its horrific gnashing fangs!

They had to fight their way out! But with the thorns holding them tightly along with the monster's pincers, they couldn't move their weapons, or hands to cast any spells! At this rate they would be-!

"Leave them alone!"

Shocked, the two Keybladers turned back, and there they saw coming up into the darkness, it was none other than, "Kairi!?"
For there indeed, was the pink clad female knight! Rising high into the air, then as she reached their level-!

"Flame Salvo!"

BLAZE! BLAZE! BLAZE! BLAZE! BLAZE!

Quickly, in seconds she fired out the powerful blazing spell and in seconds-!

KABOOM!

"HHHHIIIISSSS!"

The monster roared out in agony, and quickly it released it's tight hold and then-!

SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH!

Kairi flew in fast, and immediately cut away the thorns that had wrapped themselves around her comrades!

Amazed, feeling himself being released, Sora smiled brightly and cried out, "Kairi!"

Turning back to look at him, she smiled too and simply uttered, "Hi!" Then with that she was quickly caught by Sora's right hand! As she was, she told him, "Thanks for the hand up!"

Riku then making his way over to her, was glad to see her, but curious he asked, "Kairi, how did you make it up to us? How did you-!"

"HHHHIIIISSSS!"

Quickly he was interrupted, as the monstrous Whip Spider recovered, and quickly it moved to strike them all, along with-!

TWIST! TWIST! TWIST! TWIST! TWIST!

The thorns that grew out again and went to ensnare them all!

But seeing this, Kairi acted, and using her free hand cried out, "No you don't!"

SHINE!

Suddenly surrounding them, was the bright warm yellow glow of the Fifth Fragment, that encased them within a protective sphere, which wouldn't allow the monster or any sharp plant shoots to touch them!

Amazed seeing the warm light protecting them all, neither Sora nor Riku could believe it!

Kairi keeping her concentration up, then said turning to Riku, "Well, you can see what let me up here now! I used Reeve's power, to make multiple platforms to help me get up here!"

Sora quiet hearing this, told her, "Well that's good thinking!" Then he added, smiling to her warmly, "Thanks for the save Kairi! You really claim in clutch for us here!"

Hearing this, the Princess of Heart smiled and replied, "Well someone had to! For you guys can't do anything without me!"

Riku laughed at this, for despite the terrible monster and thorns that surrounded the outside of their protective sphere, it was wonderful that at last the three of them were reunited, and they could feel the strong warmth of their friendship in that abyss.

"Curaga!"

Casting her healing spell over him, Nozomi asked, "Are you alright your majesty, can you stand?"

Hearing her question, Mickey with some slight aches still replied, "I think so...!" With that he stood up on his legs again, with some aid from the female Keyblader.

As he surveyed the battlefield, he saw what was happening with her. For still, Leon and Yuffie were battling Xehanort, with some added help from Noel and Raiyana, along with Vincent and Alania who was riding upon the back of another of her precious summons!

Seeing them battle the giant monstrous man, Mickey asked Nozomi, "How's ya progress goin' in healin' everyone?"

"Well I patched up, Aerith and Shirma along with Donald, so that we could have more restoring hands here!" For looking to her two white mage comrades who'd revived some of the warriors on the field, she though became concerned as she revealed, "But they've said they're running on low! If everybody doesn't have enough potions on them, and ethers then-!"

"We're in trouble?" Mickey finished for her.

Nozomi quiet briefly, then nodded sadly.

"We're already...knee deep in it!" Pete said, as he stood up himself. Restored by Donald's magic and as the white duck stood aside, he couldn't help but say, "And we gotta knock that overgrown creep out, before he does anythin' that cleans our clocks again!"

"You said it!" Donald cried out in agreement.

Goofy then who'd been quiet up to that point, had to ask the crucial question, "Yeah, but how do we do that fella's?"

Everyone became quiet, it was clear despite their determination that they didn't know the answer to that question.

Feeling the unease of uncertainty come over, Mickey didn't want everyone to be down in the dumps. So began to clear the air, by some spoken analysis, "Well Goof, in order to overcome Xehanort, we need the numbers on our side, so we can take him out all at once."

"Say somethin' we don't know!"

"Pete!" Annoyed Nozomi, stopped his words in seconds as he looked at her grumpily.

The mouse King smiled at the support, then continued, "But with not so many healers here, and with the lack of healing items that we've gradually ran out of... it's gonna be tough to overcome this problem."

"Gwarsh, things are rough for us here!" The dopey knight replied, scratching his head in worry.

"Yeah it is," Nozomi replied. Then as she thought to herself, she stated some ideas that came to her mind, "If we just had a way, to cast one huge spell on everybody all at once, that would be amazing."

Nodding, Mickey replied, "Yeah that would be a good," However he had to inform her, "But we wouldn't want Xehanort to get any of the benefits, otherwise we'd be back to square one."

"Right..." Nozomi uttered sadly, for this really wasn't an easy problem to solve.

"Urgh! Oh, just c'mon!" Pete told them all mad.

"Huh?" Perplexed by his reaction, Nozomi stared at the overweight former villain.

"You dumb mutts always think of somethin' at the crucial last second, just do it again now!" Then he added, stomping his foot, "This is no time to be dancin' thoughts with the fairies here!"

Everyone stared at Pete with annoyance as he said this, Donald voiced their unspoken thoughts, "Oh quiet down, ya big palooka!"

"What'd you say!?" Pete demanded mad.

With that an argument broke out between them again, Nozomi staring then uttered, "Yep, this is real helpful isn't it?"

"Ha, ha, yeah..." Mickey replied feeling awkward. However as he stopped and remembered what Pete had said, he stopped and quickly realised, "No wait, that is helpful!"

Surprised, Nozomi looked to Mickey and asked him, "Wait, what do you mean by that your majesty?"

Quickly though the mouse king told her, "C'mon! We need to go and help Hanahime! She's the one person who can help us right now!"

Puzzled, hearing this one particular ARC member being suggested, Nozomi asked, "Hana? How can she-?"

But Mickey had already taken off and was heading in the direction where he thought the white clad girl was! Seeing him go, Nozomi cried out, "Hey! Your majesty, wait up!"

Goofy hearing Nozomi's cry, saw where she was going and cried out, "Fella's!" With that he chased after them too! This quickly made Pete and Donald stop in their arguing, as they did, they quickly followed suit. For just maybe, they might have a chance again!

TWIST! TWIST! TWIST! TWIST! TWIST!

As the thorns wrapped around their protective sphere, Kairi kept up her concentration to make sure they couldn't break on through as she held her right hand out maintaining the spell!

Seeing her do this, Sora asked her concerned, "Are you okay, Kairi?"

"I gotta really focus to keep this protection up," she explained, then as the monstrous plants continued to wrap around them tightly, she then felt-!

SNAP! SNAP!

The pincers of the Whip Spider monster strike into her shield! As it did, the blows were so powerful that Kairi felt the impact of each blow, making her, "Urgh!"

"Kairi!" Worried for her, Sora saw her take a shuddering step back. He asked her, "What's wrong?"

The Princess of Heart then admitted, "My magical power's being drained badly, with them continuing to harm my shield like this!" Then doing her best to not flinch, she explained further, "So if we don't get out of here soon, then-!"
"We'll be overrun and ensnared again!" Riku finished for her.

Kairi simply nodded. As she did, Sora held her shoulders protectively, trying to give her some silent support.

Looking around themselves, at the terrible mess they were all entrapped in, Riku asked, "Just how can we get out of this space, and away from these things?"

"You will need to create a way that is fast and swift."

Hearing Hari's voice, Riku asked her, "Fast and swift?" Then thinking to himself, he realised, "Wait, a Door of Time!" Then putting his hand to his chest, the white haired Keyblader asked, "Kagi do you think that-?"

"No, I don't think my power would be useful for right now!"

"What do you mean?" Riku asked him concerned.

"This bubble we're in, won't be big enough to hold a door, and if any of you are too slow in getting out, you'll be trapped in here forever."

Feeling a chill as he heard these words, Riku then said, "That's not good..." with a sigh, he then said, "We'll have to think of something else."

"It wasn't Kagi I was making reference to there."

Hearing her again, Riku asked, "You weren't, Hari?"

"No, all of you here will be able to create the way...for afterall, you now all possess Alliance Blades, you should be able yet to create another miracle."

"Create a miracle?" Riku asked her, then remembering this fact and looking to Kairi, he saw too that she had an Alliance Blade too! Seeing it, he was quiet and then realised her words were true, "You're right, we'll be able to do something, together!"

Feeling his determination burn, he looked to the others and said, "Sora, Kairi!"

Hearing him, they looked in his direction and as they did, he asked, "What powers do you two possess with your Fragments?"

Surprised, Sora asked him, "Powers?"

With a nod, he then explained, "Yeah, if we know what we're each capable of here, we'll be to combine our powers together!" Then looking at the thorns and monster that were threatening to rip them apart, he added, "We'll create our miraculous way out, one that Xehanort could never see coming!"
Hearing the courageous spirit in his voice, Sora was quiet but then he brightened and smiled and said, "Okay, let's do it! Let's think of something together!" Then looking to Kairi, he asked, "Think you can give us some inspiration?"

Surprised by these words, Kairi was quiet. But then she brightened immediately, despite the struggle and said, "Of course! That's the name of my own Allaince Blade after all!"

Sora grinned and with that all of them began making their plans to escape the treacherous clutches of the thorns and ferocious monster!

"Agh...!" Hurting all over, Hana couldn't think of anything. What was happening, what was-!

"Hang on, I'll fix ya!"

SHINE!

"Huh?" Puzzled, the girl felt her pain quickly leave her, and as it did, aching she got up and asked, "Wait what was I-!"
"Hana!" Surprised hearing this voice, the blonde haired girl saw that it was none other than Nozomi who'd called her name. As she looked at her with a relieved smile, she heard her then say, "You're back with us now!"

Blinking she then asked, "Back with you?" Then as her memories returned, she remembered, "Wait! Ruby, and everyone, they're-!"

"Urgh...!"

Then turning in another direction, she saw that there in pain lying on his side still made giant, by the Fairy Godmother's spell, it was none other than, "Ruby!" With that getting up fast, she ran over and quickly put her hands on his chest.

Looking at him, she saw that he was hurt all over as he breathed in and out slowly with difficulty. Seeing this, she uttered sadly, "Ruby, I'm so sorry, I let get you hurt and...!"

She started to weep and as she did, it was then she heard sadly, "It wasn't just you..."

Turning, the blonde haired girl saw Nozomi again, looking down sadly. As she did this, she heard the Keyblader continue to say, "We all did, we weren't able to protect anyone from Xehanort's wrath before, I'm sorry."
Surprised at the apology, Hana didn't know what to say.

But it was then she heard Mickey say, "But we can make it all right again, with help from you."

"Huh?" Hana didn't expect this and asked, "I can help?"

With a nod, Mickey then said, "Yeah, cause after all, you're a part of the natural races who are the healers of others, aren't you?"
Her eyes widening, hearing this, Hana then asked, "You know what I really am then?"

Nodding, Mickey then replied, "Yeah, well what you were part of originally," then reaching his hand down to her, he told her, "Ya're the one we need the most right now, do you think you can help us all, Hana?"

Quiet, she didn't know at first what to say. But then looking to Ruby, and seeing his pain, along with the others who were still struggling, she then told Mickey, "If I can, then yes absolutely!"

Mickey smiled at her response and with that, they made their discussions of what they could do to aid their suffering comrades!

"GET AWAY FROM ME!"

SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH!

Dodging in and out fast, with his newly restored allies. Vincent was doing his best to evade the dangerous extra limbs of Xehanort who sent them racing everywhere! As one went to grab him, he brought out his revolver and quickly-!

BLAST! BLAST! BLAST! BLAST! BLAST!

This immediately caused the giant hand to be thrown out of his direction. However as he spun in the air, he discovered-!

CLICK!

He'd run out of ammo, he needed to reload! Quickly he went to do that, but in his distraction-!

"Vincent on your right!"

Hearing Yuffie's cry, the red clad man turned to look and there he saw-!

"RRROOOAAARRR!"

More of Xehanort's four armed Heartless coming straight for him! Their golden blades drawn, they were all ready to strike him down! There was no time to move out of the way, he'd be-!

"Energy Ray!"

SHINE!

Hearing this command, a laser of white light blasted forth and quickly destroyed a good number of the monsters that had come for him. Amazed seeing this, it was then he heard, "You alright there, Vincent?"

Turning it was then he saw that the one who'd saved him, was none other than Alania who was riding upon her majestic Summon, Valefor.

Remembering her question, he simply nodded and replied, "Yes, thanks to you!" With that, quickly looking back to Cerberus. He was fully reloaded and replied, "Sorry for the brief lapse!"

The blue haired Summoner told him, "Not a worry!" Then-!"

SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH!

The monstrous limbs were all coming straight for them again! As they did, Summoner and Gunslinger got ready to engage when-!

Suddenly more aiding firepower came and looking on, Vincent saw two new beasts emerge! An Illuyankas and a Dusk, a Chimera. He recognised them, they were-!

"Need a hand here?"

It was then he saw who'd come to aid him, it was none other than Raiyana and Noel! Seeing the pirate and Nobody who'd flown up to meet him, the revolver wielding man replied, "Certainly doesn't hurt."

"Glad to be of help then!" The long blue haired Nobody smiled, then-!

"RRROOOAAARRR!"

With that drawing out all their weapons, the group of heroes did their best together to survive against Xehanort's forces and the monster himself, as they desperately tried to incur whatever damage they could against him!

Finishing their discussions amongst themselves, quickly the three Keybladers had formulated their plan! As they did, Riku began to enact it, as he did he put a hand to his chest. Doing this, he asked, "Hari, are you ready to help us out of here?"

"Of course, don't worry."

The white haired Keyblader smiled and made a small nod to her. Then doing this, he looked behind and asked, "Kairi, are you sure, you're gonna be able to handle this?"

To which, she then told him, "I didn't practise magic all that time, you guys were away from me, for nothing y'know!"

SNAP! SNAP!

"Urgh!" Then flinching from the pain of maintaining her focus, she felt Sora's worried hands on her again. Seeing him look at her with concern, she was quiet. But then revealing what she hoped was a comforting smile, she finished her sentence and said, "I'll handle this, don't worry!"

Hearing the determination in her voice, Riku simply nodded and with that-!

GLOW!

He began to glow all over with red light, activating the power of the Fourth Fragment. Doing this he touched the edge of the glowing yellow shield they were in. However before fully committing to this, he turned and said, "Sora c'mon!"

"Okay!" Then before walking to his friend's side, he told her, "I can't wait to see what you make for us, Kairi!"

Nodding she smiled and told him, "Me too, thanks Sora!"

The chosen Keyblader brightened and quickly he joined Riku. Then together, they began to enact the first stage of the plan!

Tiredly, Shirma had stopped in her healing. She had collapsed onto her knees, sitting before Snow and Musashi, she'd realised much to her dread, "I, I can't heal anymore... I don't have any magic left!"

"You too?"

Shocked hearing this, Shirma looked up. There she saw looking over her with worry, was Aerith. Seeing the long pony-tailed brunette healer looking over her, the White Mage realised what she said, becoming disheartened she uttered sadly, "Oh no..."

Then hearing the groans of pain from Snow and Musashi, along with the rest of their allies. Who were all still caught in the awful grips of the storming paralysis, Xehanort had unleashed. Shirma gripped her staff and asked, "What can we do?"

Aerith then said with uncertainty, "We could try and use the potions that the others have, if they've got any left but..." Looking around at the wide snowy platform they were on, she added sadly, "But that could take too much time, and I'm not sure if we have much left, especially when-!"

"RRROOOAAARRR!"

It was then quickly the Heartless from above, saw their vulnerable position and a huge swarm all came flying straight towards them! As they did, the two tried to move to protect themselves, when-!

"Shining Swift Star Rays!"

Immediately the attack, knocked the Heartless out of the way as they came for the healers. As it did, it was then-!

STRIKE! STRIKE! STRIKE! STRIKE! STRIKE!

Arriving on the scene before them both, it was none other than, "Nozomi!?"

Quickly the Keyblader running over to them, asked, "Are you both okay?"

Smiling with relief, Shirma told her, "Mostly," though she had to reveal sadly, "But me and Aerith are both out of white magic and potions now, we can't heal anyone else."

"Really?" Their rescuer asked surprised.

Aerith, then nodded and replied, "Yeah, afraid so... I'm sorry, even after you went through the trouble of reviving us, we-!"
"There's no need to worry!"

Surprised, both the healers looked to Nozomi. Then they saw her, reaching her right hand out to them, as they did they saw there glowing brightly within her palm were small precious glowing white things.

Looking at them, both of them were puzzled, Aerith voiced their curiosity, "Are those-?"

"Our little bit of hope!" Nozomi smiled, then looking behind, she saw-!

STRIKE! STRIKE! STRIKE! STRIKE! STRIKE!

Both Mickey and Goofy in the air, striking the Heartless back, to keep them away! Then as they battled on and more of the horrible creatures emerged-!

"TAKE THIS!"

ZZZAAAPPP! ZZZAAAPPP! ZZZAAAPPP! ZZZAAAPPP!

Donald unleashed his thunder magic, making more of them disintegrate in the air!

Seeing this, as they flew on high, Mickey cried out, "Thanks Donald!"

To which the duck mage signalled back with a thumbs up, as he gave his assistance to his King with his powerful magic!

Mickey was pleased and then seeing Nozomi was looking at him, he nodded to her as he quickly went back to assist his pals again!

Nozomi seeing the King's silent encouragement, she nodded too. Then looking to Aerith and Shirma, she asked them, "Do you think you can help me sow these, we need to spread them to all the edges of this platform, so everyone can be helped!"

Quiet hearing this request, though they were curious how this would help. There was no time to doubt, so both the white mages quickly nodded and each told her, "Of course!" "More than happy to!"

Nozomi smiled, and with that, she handed to them what Hana had given her, along with Pete. Then she gave them both a quick explanation, as to what she held and how they would help their fallen comrades...

"HHHHIIIISSSS!"

Above the monstrous Whip Spider, was waiting hungrily above the glowing yellow sphere, as it's many thorns spread out and held the strange object in its clutches. It was waiting for the moment to strike, and to finally feast upon the prey that were hiding beyond it's reach. Then as it gnashed its wet fangs-!

GLOW!

An intense red and orange light, covered the entirety of the sphere! The creature was puzzled, when-!

"Empowered Shredding Succession!"

SLICE! SLICE! SLICE! SLICE! SLICE!

Immediately red and orange lines of glowing power branched out from the sphere and spread throughout the entire network of thorns! As they did, the sharp plant shoots were all cut to ribbons, and their remains began to rain down into the darkness below!

The monster seeing this tensed with rage, then quickly as the attack spread about everywhere, quickly-!

Dim...

The power of the sphere faded, and from within it, the monster then quickly saw that its prey were all exposed. Seeing this, it then rushed in to finally devour them all! It quickly sent its long whip like claws forwards to grab them!

SNAP! SNAP!

"Do you think that was all of them?" Sora asked as he looked around themselves.

"I hope so!" Riku replied, then-!

SNAP! SNAP!

Immediately the two of them looked above, and there they saw quickly approaching were the two long whip pincers of the monster who'd kept them captive!

Gritting his teeth, Sora then declared, "I've had enough of this bug!" With that he moved fast glowing all over with orange power and-!

CLASH! CLASH!

He sent the deadly appendages hurtling back, then as he drew his blade back-!

"HHHHIIIISSSS!"

The monster was incensed, and quickly, it dove down to devour them all, Gnashing it's hungry fangs with it's long legs crawling everywhere like a living nightmare!

"Here it comes!" Riku cried, drawing his own blade out.

"Yeah!" Then saying that, Sora looked to their living inspiration and asked her, "Kairi, are you ready to go?"

Hearing his question, she took out her own Alliance Blade and with a nod told them both, "You bet!" With that she moved it forwards, quickly Sora and Riku did the same and the tips of their three weapons touched-!

SHINE!

A new power and creation was born, that began to illuminate the darkness with strengthened warmth!

Sending another Heartless out of the way, Pete got to where he needed to! As he did, he got on the snowy floor, and digging into it, he sowed the little glowing treasure he'd gained from Hana!

Then quickly getting up, he said dusting off his hands, "There! That should be the last of 'em!" Then stroking a bead of sweat away from his brow, he said, "Those other mutts better have finished too, otherwise we-!"

"ENOUGH!"

Hearing this angry cry, Pete looked up at their enormous foe and-!

BLAST! BLAST! BLAST! BLAST! BLAST!

He saw him release a barrage of purple laser fire, that quickly-!

"AAAGGGHHH!"

Sent all the heroes that had been battling him flying backwards! As they did, he then saw the giant monstrous man, move and quickly-!

SHINE!

Everyone saw much to their distress, that Xehanort had called back his giant Keyblade 'Annihilation!' Seeing this with a chill, it was then he saw-!

BLAZE!

The dangerous weapon, burn with dark power! He was going to unleash a nasty dark attack at them all!

"Now you shall all suffer my wrath!"

Annoyed, Pete then cried out, "Great! He just had to go and recover his swingin' hand now of all times!" For he didn't know if the others were ready! For if they weren't, then-!

SHINE!

Surprised he looked in the distance, and as he did, it was then he saw the girl that Mickey said could help them. He had no idea why she was shining, but as she opened up her arms with her golden hair shining with that incredible light, he didn't need to wait long, to see the amazing miracle that she was going to perform!

Feeling their power grow, Kairi focused. Then quickly an image appeared in her mind, of what she wished for, that would help them get out of the darkness! Opening her eyes, she moved her right hand out and cried out, "Focus Vision!"

Immediately the three Alliance Blades moved at her call, feeling the weapons leave their grasps, Sora looked on with wide eyes and he saw the weapons combine and extend out, as they became a new device altogether!

"Whoa!" Amazed, Sora saw a shape that resembled something like a futuristic bike, it reminded him of the device that he and Riku had used when trying to defeat Xemnas. However as it unfolded and moulded itself together, it became bigger than that, with three seats and hand grips!

It quickly grew out pink and purple mechanical wings, with golden thrusters behind it! As he held onto the grips, quickly-!

BLAST!

Immediately the device they were all on, took off and quickly they were speeding away into the darkness! Leaving a trailing blaze of yellow light in their wake!
"This is amazing!" Sora cried out in excitement!

"You got that right!" Riku replied, clearly enjoying the ride as much as him.

"Proves what you can do with a bit of imagination, huh?" Kairi laughed as she controlled the main mechanism.

Sora nodded and as they all rode together, he was about to say something else when-!

"HHHHIIIISSSS!"

They heard the chilling roar of the Whip Spider, and looking behind, they saw somehow the monster was still after them! As it flew after them, with some disgusting thorn formed insectile wings!

Revolted seeing the monster, Riku then said, "I just wish Xehanort didn't have such a nightmare variety!"

"You said it!" Kairi replied, then as she thought to herself of what they could do. She looked into the memories of the comrades who rested within her heart... she then saw something that Aqua had done long ago. Inspired, she had an idea, "Okay, let's do it!"

"What?" Sora asked.

"We're gonna take out that thing, with our Glider and get out at the same time!" She declared with exhilaration.

"That's what this thing is?" Sora asked as he looked at their ride. However he didn't get a reply as-!

FWHOOSH!

"Whoa!" Quickly the three of them rushed through the darkness and as the monstrous insect chased after them, Kairi readied the Glider's systems as she prepared to make their escape!

SHINE!

Xehanort feeling this warm radiance turned, and there he saw below on the snowy floor was the long blonde-haired girl in her white dress, who was glowing all over with golden light. As he did, he then asked,

"Now just what do you think you're doing?"

However he received no reply, instead the girl opened her golden eyes and released her spell,

"All of you who have faith and trust, let my Pixie Dust, create a power to make you all robust!"

GLOW!

It was then in seconds, that glittering golden dust spread out from Hana's body, and quickly it all reached the outer rim of the snowy platform! As this happened-!

"This is-!"

Xehanort then saw with shock that along the snow and ice that surrounded him, that all kinds of tall vines and flowers started to grow out! Then as they all bloomed, they released golden glittering pollens that immediately-!

SPARKLE!

Rained down upon all the heroes that had fallen to him! As they did, it was then he heard the sounds of waking, as he saw all of them had been healed from the wrathful blasts he'd unleashed before! Realising what she was, he then said,

"So, that's your ploy!"

With that he moved his Keyblade, and seeing the blonde girl look up to him, now with exhaustion as she fell onto her knees, he then declared,

"Well, I shall rob you al now of your fragile light of hope!"

Then he moved his Keyblade to strike her down into oblivion!

"HHHHIIIISSSS!"

TWIST! TWIST! TWIST! TWIST! TWIST!

Weaving in and out of the monster's grasping thorns, the Keybladers were doing their best to not be ensnared again! As they moved rapidly with the power of their Alliance Blade Glider, Sora looking behind, then said agitated, "This thing is really bugging me!"
Riku rolled his eyes and then asked, "Did you really have to use that pun?"

Sora looking to him was about to answer when-!

SNAP! SNAP!

The grotesque insect unleashed it's long whip appendages that quickly locked onto their ride!

Shocked seeing this, Sora then demanded, "Hey! Get off us!"

"HHHHIIIISSSS!"

The monster clearly had no intention of letting them go, as it began to pull them back to devour them!

Looking back with irritation, Kairi quickly keyed onto the console before her! Then doing this, she got the system ready, and told her friends, "Guys hang on tight!"
"Huh?" Sora though was given no time to ask more as-!

SPIN! SPIN! SPIN!

Quickly the Glider moved fast and quickly spun in the air, which forced the appendages to release them! The giant monster retracting its long limbs, moved swiftly overhead and as they all flew back upwards, they then turned in the air and saw-!

"HHHHIIIISSSS!"

It was now before them, and as it looked down at them all menacingly-!

TWIST! TWIST! TWIST! TWIST! TWIST!

More of the thorns grew out from its grotesque body and went to again ensnare them!

Both the male Keybladers were on edge, however Kairi herself smiled and said, "Now we've got you!" With that she began issuing her commands through the keys again, so that she could reveal the true power of the Glider!

SLASH!

"Ah!" Cowering at the sight of the deadly blow coming for her, there was no time for Hana to move! She was going to be-!

"Hanahime!"

Shocked hearing this voice, the girl looked up and then-!

WHOOSH!

She was grabbed and pulled out of the way of the attack that-!

SMASH!

Sliced straight into the snowy platform! Amazed feeling this, it was then she heard, "Hana! Are you okay!?"

Looking up, it was then she saw, "Nozomi! You came to get me!"

Nodding, the female Keyblader smiled happily and as she did-!

"Don't forget about me too princess!"

It was then the girl saw to her delight, her now restored treasured friend, who they were both now riding together, "Ruby, you're okay!"

"Yeah thanks to you, my princess!" The giant red robin told her happily!

Hana laughed full of relief, but before she could bask more in this happy moment-!

SLASH!

"Whoa!" Quickly the red robin went to dive out of the way, for again Xehanort sent his extra limbs after them, to try and grab them, as he lifted his giant Keyblade from the snow, leaving a huge cratering line in the platform!

As they turned in the air, he uttered annoyed, "This giant bully doesn't know when to let up!"

"You said it!" Nozomi said in agreement, then-!

SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH!

The limbs were now coming after them and fast! They wouldn't be able to avoid all of these!

Terrified Hana cried out, "Oh no! What do we do! How can we-!"

"I'll hold them back!"

Shocked, Hana too slow to move as-!

LEAP!

Nozomi had launched herself forwards and off Ruby's back! As she did, the terrible long limbs now came chasing after her instead, as they did, Hana cried out worried for her, "Nozomi no!" But there was no stopping the Keyblader, as she desperately did her best to avoid the blows from the monstrous man, so both princess and robin could get away safely, so they may aid more of their allies!

Puzzled as Kairi said these words, Sora turned around and was about to ask what she was talking about, when-!

SHINE!

The Glider they were upon, lit up with intense light! As it did, it was then the head of it opened up, becoming something like a cannon! It powered up, and as the thorns came for them, Kairi using the powers of the treasured Sixth Fragment, took aim and then announced the attack as it all came into focus,

"Supreme Sniper!"

BLAST!

In seconds the light escaped from the Glider, and as it came into contact with the thorns-!

FLARE! FLARE! FLARE! FLARE! FLARE!

They were all disintegrated in seconds, and immediately the powerful blinding beam swiftly made it to the Whip Spider and-!

SLICE!

SSSHHHRRRIIIEEEKKK!

It cut straight through the monster, slicing it cleanly in half!

"Whoa!" Sora couldn't believe his eyes! Even Riku was awestruck into silence, as they all saw the monster fade away into dark embers, leaving no trace it had ever been there!

Then looking back to her, Sora laughed and told her, "Kairi that was amazing!"

"Thanks!" She laughed, however this was no time to relax, so quickly re-calculating using the console before her, she told them all, "Okay, now its time to get out of here!" With that she pressed the keys she needed, and quickly-!

FWHOOSH!

They all took off again, as they did they sped on straight ahead! As they were propelled forwards, Kairi then informed them, "Okay guys, the two of you are gonna be needed for this next part!"

Surprised, Sora asked her, "We are?"

Kairi nodded and then explained, "Yeah, use your combined power of the Fourth and First Fragments together, I'll focus it into another beam, this one will let us blast our way out of Xehanort!"

"Blast our way through!?" Sora cried out shocked.

To which, the Princess simply nodded.

However Riku had to ask, "But how can you be sure that will work, how can-!"

Kairi then explained with a smile, "Because the Fourth is the Scythe right? The ability to cut through anything, so that means..."

Surprised, that he hadn't realised, Riku put a hand to his heart and asked, "Hari can you really do that?"

"I can indeed cut through anything, in fact in the past it was me, who was responsible for sending both Jona and Timbre's party into the flows of time with the cuts I made into the fabrics of space, due to my connection to Kagi."

Hearing this, Riku was shocked. But then as he thought to himself about everything, he realised, "Well that's not the craziest thing I've heard recently." However becoming glad for the confirmation, he said with a smile, "But that ability is really going to be useful to us now!"

With that he held onto the grips before him more tightly, as he did, he turned to Sora and asked, "Think you're ready to give us all another power boost again?"

In seconds his best friend grinned and replied, "Absolutely!"

Riku smiled, and as Kairi charged them all forwards, the two male Keybladers readied the next attack that would be their way out!

"HEY! WHOA! WHOA! WHOA!"

SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH!

Doing her best to duck and dodge out of the way of the terrible limbs Xehanort had called, Nozomi was using every fast manoeuvre and chance to evade she could! She had to give everyone the time they needed to heal!

Making it higher into the air, she'd somehow managed to avoid being grabbed. As she did, she released a sigh and said, "I think I'm safe!" But-!

"NOZOMI!"

Shocked hearing the voice of the king, the girl turned to look in his direction when-!

"YOU'RE MINE!"

GRAB!

"AH!"

The distracted female Keyblader was then caught by Xehanort's giant left armoured hand! As she was, she could feel his horrible tight grip all around her body! She tried badly to squirm and escape, but it was no use!

"Let go of me! Let go!" She was desperate, she couldn't be caught like this or-!

"Denied unfortunately!"

It was then looking up, that she saw Xehanort's terrible cold gaze was fixed upon her! As it was, she shivered in terror. Then quickly she heard the monster declare,

"Now to return you, to where you truly belong!"

With that he brought up his giant Keyblade and aimed it down at her, saying,

"Rejoice at your demise!"

GLOW!

Seeing the end of the Keyblade glow with terrifying white light, Nozomi closed her eyes. Bracing herself for the agony that was fast coming, when-!

SHINE!

Feeling the radiance of this new warm glow, Nozomi looked up. There she saw somehow within the centre of Xehanort's chest, that something within him was lighting up somehow!

It was clear the monster was shocked too, as he asked,

"What is this!? My body is-!"

"SEVERING BLAZING LIGHT!"

BLAST!

"AAAAGGGGHHHH!"

Nozomi couldn't see anything as the light blinded her, but quickly she felt Xehanort's grip loosen around her, but before she could move to do anything else-!

"Nozomi!"

"Huh?" Shocked, she thought there was no way she would hear his voice now, there's no way he could-!

GRAB!

But quickly she felt warm arms around her, and as she did, she felt herself entering a protective warm embrace. Feeling it, becoming startled she looked up and saw with an amazed smile, "Riku, it's you!"

The white haired Keyblader still donned in his purple armour nodded, then with a smile he told her, as they flew in the air together, "Yeah, it is, we're all back!"

Her eyes widening as she heard this, she asked, "You mean-!"

"Nozomi!" "Nozomi!"

It was then flying with her too, being carried by the Glider they were still upon, Nozomi then saw to her relief and happiness, "Sora, Kairi! You guys! You all made it!"

"Sure did!" The Princess of Heart cried out, then quickly as she said those words.

GLOW!

Immediately the Glider came apart, and quickly all three Keybladers had back their Alliance Blades! As she held her own again, the Princess finished saying brightly, "We also got new powers and accessories along the way too!"
Hearing this, Nozomi's eyes quickly became misty, for then she saw that they were all floating together. Not because of the Pixie Dust, but because of the purple glow of power that she recognised. Timbre's power! They'd managed to save everyone, "You all did it!" With that quickly, as they came closer to her, she grabbed each of them and hugged them, laughing happily as they each did the same. All of them glad to be reunited again.

"HAA! HAA! HAA! HAA!"

Breathing in and out in clear agony, Xehanort had been gravely wounded. A great hole had been left within the centre of his chest, and he could feel it... he'd lost them! The Fragments, he had none left! There was nothing he could-!

"Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha!"

Hearing these sounds of warm laughter, Xehanort looked at the quartet of Keybladers with shocked eyes. They dared do this? To laugh so carefree and hug each other, in front of him. The one who was the Master of all Darkness!?

Gritting his teeth, he then uttered incensed,

"Unforgivable!"

For it didn't matter to him, even if they had retrieved them all. He would still subjugate them to his wrath! They would soon learn to-!

GLOW!

It was then as he was moving his massive right arm that still held his Keyblade. That he saw it, there upon his right shoulder was one very precious resource he had left. He couldn't believe it, then remembering what number it was, and what it potential it contained... he couldn't help but reveal a sinister grin.

As the Keybladers all celebrated, Nozomi then detached herself from Sora, and as she stood next to Riku again, with his arm around her shoulders. She couldn't help but say, "I still can't believe it! You really managed to get everyone!"

Nodding brightly, Sora then said, "Sure did! We've now rescued all seven of you who have the Fragments!"

Hearing this Nozomi started to nod, but then something he said stopped her. Then losing her smile, she repeated, "Seven?"

Sora not noticing her changed expression, grinned away and said, "Yeah, so now that means Xehanort's got nothing left! So we can-!"
"Sora no, that's wrong!" Nozomi told him urgently.

Hearing the worry in her voice, Sora stopped and became puzzled, he repeated, "Wrong?"

"Yeah, there's not seven of us, there are eight of us!" Nozomi told him, her anxiety quickly growing.

"Eight?" He asked, but then quickly thinking of everything he told her, "But no, I mean, it's always been seven, like with the Princess's of Heart it's always been that number!"

Shaking her head, Nozomi then told him, "Sora this isn't the same thing!" Then terror entering her heart, she further realised, "That mean's Xehanort's still got-!"

GLOW!

It was then everyone saw that there on Xehanort's right shoulder, was the remaining dark blue jewel, that still housed one of the most powerful Fragments, the Second, the Mage which was contained within, "Wairu!"

It was then Xehanort moved, covering the glow of the jewel with his giant left hand, told them,
