The Bubbler
It was another beautiful day in the city of Paris. We go to the Boulangerie Patisserie bakery. Inside Marlin's room, he was busy making something from his computer. He was downloading some songs on a CD. Arachnus was watching on the desk.
"Remind me again why you're doing this?" asked Arachnus
"Well Arachnus. It's Adrien's birthday. And I'm making him a gift" responded Marlin
"And the songs you downloaded is your gift to him?" asked Arachnus
"Uh huh. I just hope he likes it." said Marlin nervously
"Kid. A gift doesn't have to be perfect. It's the thought that counts. Right?" asked Arachnus
"I guess you're right, Arachnus" said Marlin as he ejected the CD from his computer when the download was complete
A knock was heard on his door. Arachnus quickly hid in Marlin's pocket. Marinette opens the door
"Come on, bro. Let's get going" she said
"Okay, sis" replied Marlin
After getting dressed, Marlin joined his sister as they went downstairs. As they got downstairs, their mom spots them.
"Marinette. Marlin. Don't forget to clean your rooms today" Sabine reminded
"Yes. Mom" Marlin said
"Mom! It's Friday, and I'm already doing something with Alya!" Marinette said
"Fine. I'll go ahead and clean it, but don't blame me if I come across any of your private stuff. Like your emails or your diary..." Sabine began
"Alright. I'll do it! I'll do it!" Marinette said as she gives her mom a kiss goodbye with Marlin doing the same
"Have a nice day you two" Sabine said
"We'll see you back home, mom!" Marlin said
"Happy Birthday-I mean, have a nice day!" Marinette corrected herself as she closes the door.
Sabine was confused by this, but gives a smile
The Dupain-Cheng twins were on their way to school
"Are you excited about Adrien's birthday, sis?" Marlin asked
"I sure am, bro. And I just hope that he likes what I got him" Marinette said as she looked at the present in her hand
"I'm sure he will. I'm more worried about what you would say when you go up to him" Marlin teased
"What's that suppose to mean?" Marinette asked with her eyes narrowed
"You know what I mean. Every time you go up to Adrien, you would stammer and spaz out. You always do this whenever you're around him" Marlin said
"Oh shut up" Marinette said as she playfully shoves him
"Hey it's true." Marlin said
Marinette giggles at what he said
"So, did you got anything for Adrien on his birthday?" she asked
"Yep. I downloaded this song in this CD here" Jake said as he hold up the CD wrapped in some ribbons.
"Ooh. Nice" Marinette said
"Thanks." Marlin replied
At the high school, the twins have just met up with Alya. They were hiding behind a corner as they watched Adrien talking with Nino.
"Dude, seriously? Has your dad always been such a downer? You'd think he'd at least remember what it was like to be young and wanna party a little." Nino said he was blowing bubbles
"No, I'm pretty sure he was a downer back then too. Well, at least I tried." Adrien answered sadly
"It's your b-day, dude! Insist!" Nino said
Hearing this, caused Marlin to frown a bit. He had no idea that Adrien never had a party in his entire life. He, Alya, and Marinette then duck down
"You can do it. You can do it!" Alya encouraged
"Yeah, sis. You're gonna do great" Marlin added
"I can do it. I can do it" Marinette repeated
"You know what, I'm gonna have a little convo with your pops" Nino said
"Don't waste your time. He's not gonna change his mind" Adrien replied
As he said this, Marinette stood up but then lost her nerve
"I can't do it! I can't do it!" she cried which causes her brother and Alya to face palm
"Uh, no you don't, girl. You've been stalling all morning. Now's the time." Alya said
"Alya is right, sis. Come on!" Marlin said as he grabs Marinette by her backpack and begins to drag her out causing her to yell in surprise.
"Hey! What are you doing, Marlin!? Let go!" Marinette yelled
"Sorry, Marinette. But you're going to talk to Adrien whether you want to or not" Marlin said as he continues to pull his sister until they are in front of Adrien
"Hey, guys" the Dupain-Cheng boy greeted
"What's up dude and dudette?" Nino greeted
"Hey, Marlin. Hey, Marinette" Adrien greeted
Marinette becomes nervous and begins to wave at him
"Hey" she greeted nervously
"So anyway, Adrien. Happy Birthday. Here. It's for you." Marlin said as he gives him his present
"Wow. Thanks, Marlin" Adrien said as he takes the gift. "I'll open it later"
Marlin nods his head
"Oh, by the way. Marinette has a gift for you too" he said as he nudges Marinette in the side causing her to yelp. She glared at him and then looks at Adrien. Marlin then takes some steps back to give them space.
"I, uh, I wanted to, umm, gift you a make-– I mean, gift you a give I made- I mean..." stuttered Marinette
Marlin can only face palm at this. Just as his sister was stuttering, Chloé walks up next to her. As Marinette continue to get the words out, Chloé begins to yawn out of boredom
"Out of the way!" she said as she shoves Marinette away. Marlin gives her a small glare before walking over to his sister
"Happy birthday, Adrien!" Chloé said in a cheerful tone as she proceeds to wrap her arms around him and kisses his cheek
"Yeah, thanks Chlo." Adrien said in surprise
Marlin kneels down at Marinette
"Are you alright, sis? Anything broken?" he asked
"Just my pride. Dummy" Marinette answered glumly. Alya face palm at this
"Did you get the gift I sent you?" Chloé asked
"Uh, no" Adrien answered
"What? Oh, those delivery guys. I bet it was too heavy so they had to go back and get another guy to help. Those slackers." Chloé said as she feigned anger before wrapping her arms around Adrien again. "I'll make sure they get it to you by tonight."
She kisses Adrien in the cheek again and walks off while humming a tune to herself. Marlin then brought Marinette back to where Alya is hiding.
"Get back there! Don't be a pushover, literally!" Alya encouraged
"Yeah sis. You can't chicken out now" Marlin added
"Mmm" Marinette said sounding defeated
"So what if Chloé ruined your chance to give Adrien his gift. It's not too late to try again" Marlin once again encouraged
"You can do it" Alya said
Marinette then gets a sense of determination and stood up. But before she can go over to Adrien and Nino, a car horn was heard, and a white limousine appear in front of the school.
"Gotta go. Photoshoot." Adrien said to Nino sadly. He got into the limousine and it drives away. Marlin, Marinette, and Alya watches it go
"Why can't I just mean what I say?" Marinette asked
"Uh, say what you mean?" Alya corrected
"Exactly" Marinette said
"Oh, sis" Marlin said
"Looks like I've got some business to take care of with Adrien's old man." Nino said as he walks off
Marlin then begins to think and then comes up with an idea
"I have an idea" he said
"Really?" Marinette asked
"What is it Marlin?" Alya asked
"If we can't give Adrien his present at school, then maybe we can give it to him at his place. That limousine is taking him back home after all" Marlin said
"That just might work" Alya said
"Yeah. Good thinking, bro" Marinette said as she gives Marlin a side hug
"Thanks" Marlin said "So, shall we get going?"
The Dupain-Cheng twins and Alya were now outside the gates of the Agreste Mansion. Marinette was trying to open the mailbox
"This mailbox won't budge!" she said
"Have you tried ringing the doorbell?" Marlin asked as he points to the doorbell
"Are you kidding? What if Adrien answers the-" before Marinette can finish what she is saying, Alya rung the door bell. This causes her to panic. Just then, a hidden compartment in the wall opens up and a camera comes out.
"Yes?" asked a woman's voice
"Um, hi. I'm in Adrien's class and I, uh-" Marinette stammered with a nervous grin. "Heh, did I already say that? Umm..."
'How awkward can this get?' thought Marlin embarrassed
"Put it in the box" the voice said as the mail box opens
Marinette puts her gift inside the mail box which immediately closes.
"Thank you" she said as the camera goes back into the apartment
"Good job, sis" Marlin said
"Thanks, bro. Oh! I hope he likes it!" Marinette said
"You signed the note, right?" Alya asked
This caused Marinette to widen her eyes in surprise
"You didn't sign the note, did you?" asked Marlin as he narrows her eyes
Marinette can only groan at her blunder
"Ah, girl, girl, girl." Alya said as she shook her head
Marlin can only face palm at this
Meanwhile inside the Agreste Mansion, an older woman had brought Marinette's gift inside and placed it on her desk before sitting down. Her name is Nathalie Sancoeur.
"Who was that, Nathalie?" asked a man's voice over an intercom. Nathalie pressed a button and a screen shows a male adult on it. This is Gabriel Agreste, Adrien's father.
"A friend of Adrien's. She was delivering a gift for his birthday." replied Nathalie
"Did you remember to buy him a present from me?" Gabriel asked her which surprises Nathalie
"Uh-uh, but you didn't ask me to." Nathalie responded with hesitance in her voice
"Of course I did!" Gabriel yelled angrily
"Yes, Mr. Agreste. I-I'll take care of it." Nathalie said
"Good" Gabriel said as the screen turns off.
Nathalie sighs in despair as she doesn't know what to give Adrien for his birthday. But after looking at Marinette's gift, she gets an idea to pass it off as her own to give to her boss' son. Just then, the doorbell rang. Fixing herself up, Nathalie presses the button and the screen shows Nino outside the gates.
"Yes?" she asked
"Uh hi" greeted Nino
A few minutes later, Nathalie lets Nino inside
"He'll be here in a minute" Nathalie said
Nino was playing with his bubble wand as he was waiting
"Adrien's not home yet." Gabriel said as he came in and stands on top of the stairs
"Uh, I was coming to see you, du-sir." Nino replied
"Me?" Gabriel asked
"Yeah, that right. Look, I know you don't want Adrien to have a party, but it's his birthday, dude-I mean, sir. It's all he wants." Nino stated
"No. That's final" Gabriel replied
"That's messed up." Nino said. "He never screws up in class, he always does whatever you tell him: photoshoots, fencing, Chinese, piano-"
As Nino was saying this, Adrien comes inside the mansion. Surprised to see his friend here, Adrien walks up and puts his hand on Nino's shoulder
"Nino? You're here." he said
"Anything for my best bud." Nino said as he continues to try to convince Gabriel. "Show some awesomeness, du-I mean, sir, please."
Gabriel was narrowing his eyes at Nino
"Forget it, Nino. Really, it's fine." Adrien said
"Listen, young man. I decide what's best for my son. In fact, I've just decided that you're a bad influence and you're not welcome in my house ever again. Leave now!" Gabriel yelled as he demanded that Nino leave
"Father, he was just trying to do something cool for me." Adrien said
But Gabriel didn't respond and walks upstairs. Nathalie walks in front of them
"Goodbye" she said plainly
Nino walks out of the mansion while grumbling to himself. Adrien follows after him
"Nino, wait! I'm sorry. My father-he's pretty stubborn. It's just best to stay out of his way." Adrien said as he tries to comfort him. But this only made Nino even angrier.
"It's not fair, Adrien. Harsh, uncool." Nino said as he storms down the stairs
"Thanks anyway, Nino." Adrien said sadly
Nino has made his way to Place des Vosges. He angrily sat on a bench and begins to blow some bubbles. He then notices a father dragging his son away
"But, Daddy, please!" the boy protested
"No, it's not playtime. You've got your chores to do." The father said sternly
Seeing this made Nino groan in disgust
"Ugh. Adults ruin everything all the time." he complained
Meanwhile, in the lair of Hawk Moth...
"Desperate to help his friend, but feeling powerless. How frustrating! It won't be long before frustration turns to anger!" Hawk Moth said as he converts one of the butterflies into an akuma. "Fly away, my little akuma, and evilize him."
The akuma then flew out of the window
Nino was still sitting on the bench blowing more bubbles. Just as he stopped, the akuma flew into the bubble, evilizing Nino.
"Hawk Moth is my name and Bubbler is now yours. I will help you with these horrid adults and all you have to do in return is help me get something from Ladybug, Cat Noir, and Spider-Man. Hawk Moth said telepathically as he shows him the miraculous of the three heroes.
"Yes Hawk Moth" Nino said as he gets covered in darkness.
Then a blue and red blur jumped onto the rooftops of Paris and reveals a supervillain. He has a blue mask with black splotches on his forehead and cheek. He was has a blue, red, and yellow patterns on his body and a yellow container on his back.
"No more adults means total freedom! This is SOOO sweet! Off the hook!" Bubbler said as he takes a bubble wand from his container and flies through the air. As he was doing that, Bubbler left a stream of bubbles in the air. The bubbles then begin to trap all the adults inside, leaving the kids behind. The bubbles with the trapped adults then flew up into the sky.
Hawk Moth watched this from his lair
"Perfect" he said with a grin
We now see our hero Spider-Man swinging through Paris. As it turns out, Marlin has just finished his dinner and decides to go outside for a patrol.
"Ah. Nothing like a good day for a patrol" he said as he lands on a streetlight to see if there is any sign of trouble. Spidey then looks down to see two kids on the sidewalk crying. Knowing that something was wrong, he leaps off and lands in front of the kids.
"Hey, kids. What's wrong?" Spider-Man asked
"A giant bubble took my dad away" answered a boy
"They took my parents too" added a girl in tears
"Hold up. You're saying that some bubbles took your parents?" Spider-Man asked confused
"Yeah. The bubbles came in and trapped my dad in it. Even the other adults were trapped. Now they're floating up in the air and I'm never gonna see them again" the boy said as he begins to cry again
Spider-Man looks up to see some bubbles carrying some adults floating up in the sky
"I see what you mean. Don't worry kids. I'll find some way to get your parents back" Spider-Man said
"You would?" ask the girl
"Of course. Just hang tight. Your parents will be back with you in no time" the spider hero said as he swung away. "This is obviously Hawk Moth's doing. He must've akumatized another victim."
As he landed on one of the roofs of the buildings. A stream of bubbles appear with Bubbler's face on each of them
"Today is your lucky day, little dudes. The adults have taken the day off, so make the most of it. No chores, no homework, no more nagging, just fun, fun, fun, fun. This is The Bubbler's gift to you." Bubbler said
"The Bubbler, huh? But wait that voice. That has to be Nino." Spider-Man said as he begins to leap over other buildings. "I just hope I'm not too late"
He then shot a web line and swung off
Spider-Man continues to swing through Paris. He lands on a rooftop and notices some fireworks coming from the Agreste Mansion.
"Bingo" he said as he race over and starts to web swing towards the place.
Spidey then lands on a nearby balcony where he saw everyone slow dancing at the Agreste Mansion. He also spots The Bubbler at a DJ booth.
'There's the Bubbler. Judging by the setup around here, he must be planning a birthday party for Adrien and invited all of our classmates here' he thought
"Quite the party, huh?"
Spider-Man looked to his right and saw Ladybug next to him
"Ladybug!" he yelled in surprise
"That's me" giggled Ladybug "So, you're here because you saw the fireworks?"
"Uh huh" replied Spider-Man "I'm guessing you caught wind of it too, huh?"
"Yep. I saw those bubbles taking the adults way up in the sky. I tracked the Bubbler here when I saw the fireworks go off" Ladybug replied
"Me too" Spidey said
They both watched everyone slow dancing together. Ladybug then notices Chloé attempting to kiss Adrien
"There is no way this is happening!" she yelled "Lucky Charm!"
Ladybug throws up her yo-yo. As magical ladybugs appear, a record comes out and lands in Ladybug's hands
"A record?" Ladybug asked
"Isn't it a bit early to summon your Lucky Charm so soon?" Spider-Man asked confused
"Sorry Spidey, but this is an emergency" Ladybug answered.
She then begins observed her surroundings. In her Lucky vision, she sees the empty record spot in the DJ mixer, the volume modifier and a ledge on the building across the street. With a chuckle, Ladybug hurls the record at the ledge which bounces off of it and onto the the volume modifier. The record then lands right into the empty record spot which causes the teens to break their pairs and begin dancing to another beat. This also allowed Adrien to break away from Chloé. The Bubbler then realizes what has happened.
"Dude! Who just hijacked my mix?" he demanded
"Yours truly" Ladybug claimed
"And me" added Spider-Man
Ladybug's earrings then starts to beep
"Uh oh. Ladybug. Your earrings are beeping" Spider-Man said
Ladybug gasped at this
"Better bug out quick before I change back to normal. I'll meet up with you later, Spidey. I have to go recharge my kwami" she said as she leaps off the balcony
"Okay. See you in a bit" Spider-Man said before getting out himself
Landing outside the Agreste Mansion, Spider-Man then hid behind the side of the stairs to the entrance.
"Arachnus, Webs Down!" he said as he detransforms. Arachnus came out
"A little irresponsible of Ladybug to do that wouldn't you say?" the kwami asked
"You could say that" Marlin replied "If I didn't know any better I would say she is jealous of Adrien and Chloé. Why does that feel so familiar?"
"Beats me" Arachnus replied as he and Marlin got out from the side of the stairs. "So how come you came out here?"
"I can't just jump in there and take on the Bubbler myself. It would be too soon. I'll need to wait until Ladybug is ready and for Cat Noir to show up." Marlin explained "For now, I'll just go to Adrien's party until then. I'll transform back when it's time"
"Marlin?"
Marlin heard his sister's voice
"Hide, Arachnus" he whispered. Arachnus did so and hid in the pocket in his hoodie.
Marlin turns to see Marinette walking up
"Oh hey, sis. What are you doing here?" he asked
"I'm here to attend Adrien's birthday party. Are you also coming too, bro?" Marinette asked her brother
"Uh. Yep. You guessed it. I heard the Bubbler inviting everybody to Adrien's party and I thought I could come celebrate with him" Marlin claimed
Marinette smiled
"Let's go then" she said
The Dupain-Cheng siblings then enter the party. Marinette and Marlin watched as their classmates were dancing. Marlin looked around and notices some snacks on a nearby table.
"I'm going to go get some snacks" Marlin said
"What a coincidence, bro. I was going to get some snacks too" Marinette replied
They walked over to the snack table. Marinette notices some cookies. She grabs some and puts them in her purse. Marlin notices some chocolates and picks some up. He then puts it in his pocket. Inside his pocket, Arachnus ate some.
"Where have you guys been?" asked Alya as she approached them. "I was worried that something bad would happen to you both"
She then gave the siblings a group hug
"Me too" Marinette said
"Me three" Marlin added. "But we're fine, Alya. And I guess you are too"
"Thanks, Marlin" Alya said. "And don't worry. I'm sure Ladybug, Cat Noir, and Spider-Man will show up in a minute to save us all. They never failed us"
"No doubt about it" Marlin replied earning him a chuckle from Alya
"Oh, Marlin. Meanwhile, come with me Marinette. I've got something for you" Alya said as she begins to walk off
"Uh. There's something I have to do first" Marinette claimed
"It's about Adrien" Alya replied with a smirk
"Okay" Marinette sighed before looking at Marlin. "I'll be right back, Marlin. Enjoy the party"
"See ya, sis" Marlin said as Marinette follows after Alya
Marlin then looks to see his classmates dancing. He then begins to walk on the dance floor. Arachnus peeks out from his pocket
"So what's the plan?" he asked
"We'll have to wait until Ladybug recharges her kwami and for Cat Noir to come in" Marlin replied "For now, I'll just play along and have fun until then"
Just as he said that, he bumps into someone. He looks up to see Juleka. Arachnus quickly went back in Marlin's pocket
"Marlin" Juleka muttered with a blush
"Juleka. F-Fancy seeing you here" Marlin said as he blushes also
"Yeah. Me too" Juleka said
"So. I'm guessing Bubbler forced you to come here?" Marlin asked
"Mmmhmm" Juleka replied as she nods her head
Marlin smiles and sees this as a good opportunity to dance with his crush
"Would you care to dance?" Marlin asked
"Um. Okay" Juleka replied shyly
"Yes!" yelled Marlin until he realize what he's doing. "I mean. That's great"
Juleka giggles at this as she and Marlin begins to dance. Rose saw them dancing nearby. She couldn't help but smile as she knows that Juleka has a crush on Marlin
'Wow. This is so cool. I'm actually dancing with Juleka.' thought Marlin
"Hey you! Why aren't you having fun?!"
Marlin turns to see Bubbler confronting Ivan, who was leaning against a wall
"None of your business" Ivan replied
"Then I'm gonna make it my business" Bubbler said with a smirk as he took out his bubble wand. Bubbler then traps Ivan in a bubble which then floats up
Marlin gasped at this
'Oh no! Ladybug. Cat Noir. Please hurry!' he thought
During the party, Adrien was on the DJ booth and was speaking through a microphone
"Hey Paris. How ya doin?" Adrien asked
But everyone didn't cheer. But Bubbler gives them a threatening glare which forces them to cheer.
"This is so wrong" muttered Marlin
"Whatcha say?" asked Bubbler who had somehow heard him
"Nothing" Marlin said quickly
Just then, Ladybug shows up. Adrien looks up and sees her
"Ladybug?" he asked
Marlin smiled as he saw her. Ladybug then threw her yo-yo at the power switch, disconnecting the equipment. She then retracts it
"Sorry Bubbler, but the party is over" Ladybug said
Taking advantage of everyone's distraction, Marlin quietly runs off. He then hid behind the snack table
"Looks like the party is canceled" Arachnus said as he came out of Marlin's pocket
"Yeah. Time for Spider-Man to crash" Marlin replied as he held out his bracelet. "Arachnus, Webs Up!"
Arachnus gets sucked into the bracelet and Marlin transforms into Spider-Man. He then steps out from behind the table and sees Ladybug battling against Bubbler and all the students has gotten to safety. Seeing Bubbler about to shoot a bubble at Ladybug, Spider-Man runs in and shoots a web line at Bubbler's foot. He pulls the line making Bubbler trip and causing him to shoot his bubble upwards. Ladybug turns to see him.
"Spider-Man" she said
"Hey there. I see that your kwami is all charged up." Spider-Man replied
"Uh huh. And now we can take on Bubbler" Ladybug said with a smirk
Bubbler got up and gave the webslinger a glare
"You'll pay for that, spider dude!" he yelled.
He then fires a red bubble at Spider-Man, but he dodges it. Ladybug then threw her yo-yo at Bubbler while he fires another bubble at it. The yo-yo bounces off the bubble an goes back to Ladybug. Before Spider-Man can use his webs to stop the yo-yo, Cat Noir comes in and uses his staff to knock the yo-yo into the air.
"Looks like I made it just in time" Cat Noir said
"We had it under control" Ladybug said as her yo-yo hits Cat Noir in the head and back in her hand
"But we're glad you came, CN" Spider-Man added
"Why do you call me, CN?" asked Cat Noir
"It's short for Cat Noir" Spider-Man answered
"Oh" Cat Noir said while Ladybug giggles at this
The pink mask appeared over Bubbler
"Get their miraculouses! I want those powers, NOW!" Hawk Moth yelled telepathically
The Bubbler then swings his bubble wand and unleashes a barrage of red bubbles at the three heroes. They did their best to dodge and pop the bubbles coming at them. The red bubbles then flew up into the air
"Is that all you got, bubble brain?" Spider-Man quipped
"Not quite, webhead" Bubbler said as he snapped his finger
Just then, Spider-Man's spider sense goes off
"Oh no" he said
Suddenly, the bubbles turn green and begins to surround the heroes. Some of them stuck onto them. As they try to get them off, the bubbles form in and imprison them in a giant bubble. Bubbler laughs evilly at this. Ladybug attempts to pop the bubble they were in, but to no avail
"I always wondered what it was like to be inside a bubble, and now I know" Spider-Man said
"Me too" Cat Noir added
"Give me your miraculouses before you run out of air!" Bubbler demanded
"Dream on, Bubbler!" Ladybug replied
"Cause that isn't gonna happen!" Spider-Man added
"Total party poopers. Just like adults" Bubbler said
"Whoa dude! You got it all wrong" Spider-Man said
"Kids need adults!" Ladybug yelled
"Yeah, and without adults, who will feed them, help them grow, or keep them safe? Not to mention the the love and care they have given to children over the years" Spider-Man said
"Exactly!" Ladybug added
"False! Kids need freedom, fun, let loose and live it up. Adults are controlling and bossy." Bubbler replied
"But adults keep children safe and protected. They care for their kids, they love them!" Ladybug argued
"She's right, Bubbler. I know that some adults can act a little mean and bossy like you said, but they do it because they care" Spider-Man added
"Must adults do anyhow" Cat Noir muttered to himself
"You don't have to do this, man. Hawk Moth is controlling you. Fight it" Spider-Man said
"Yeah and just bring the adults back!" Cat Noir yelled
"Nope, never. Know what, since you care so much about these adults, why don't you go float with them for a while?" Bubbler said before running towards them and kicks the bubble way up into the air. The heroes scream as they were launched up much to the teenagers' horror.
Back in his lair, Hawk Moth was not very happy about Bubbler's action
"What do you think you're doing Bubbler?! You're supposed to seize their Miraculouses!" he yelled
As the bubble was going high up into the air, the heroes try to free themselves
"This getting a little crowded" Spidey said
"I agree. Cat Noir, use your Cataclysm!" Ladybug said to the cat hero
"Couldn't you have said that five hundred feet ago?" Cat Noir asked
"We can't stay stuck in this bubble together forever." Ladybug answered
Cat Noir smirks at Ladybug which makes her facepalm
"Focus, Cat. We have to get back down there!" Spider-Man reminded
"Right!" Cat Noir said "Cataclysm!"
He uses his ability to pop the bubble, but this also cause them to fall from the sky
"Should we see if you land on your feet this time?" Ladybug asked
"No, thanks!" Cat Noir replied
Spider-Man looks up and gets an idea. He begins to shoot his webs in the air and forms a web parachute and begin to float down. Ladybug saw this with a grin and then looks at Cat Noir
"Cat Noir, your stick, there!" Ladybug said as she points at the Eiffel Tower
"Got it" Cat Noir said before getting his staff and throwing it in the landmark
"Hang on!" Ladybug said as she grabs Cat Noir by the hand. She then wraps her yo-yo around the staff and they swing and then landed on the ground.
"Wait. Where's Spidey?" Cat Noir asked
"Look out below!" called Spider-Man
They looked up and see the web-slinger floating down towards them on the web parachute. Once he is close enough, he lets go and lands on the ground in front of them
"Nice of you to drop in, Spidey" Ladybug said with a smirk
"Thanks. I really stuck the landing" Spider-Man said
Cat Noir cleared his throat to get their attention
"Good thing cats aren't afraid of heights." Cat Noir replied
"We've got to get to his bubble sword, that's got to be where the akuma is" Ladybug said
Cat Noir's ring then begins to beep. He looks at his ring
"Better hurry." he said
"Quick. To the mansion" Spider-Man said as he and his teammates run back
Back at the Agreste Mansion, Bubbler is trying to keep the party going
"Where is everybody? Get out here and party!" he demanded
"Sorry to burst your bubble." Ladybug said
Bubbler turns to see Ladybug, Cat Noir, and Spider-Man standing on the gate
"Ladybug!" Alya said
All the teens begin to chant her name much to Bubbler's anger
"No one wants to party with you anymore, Bubbler." Ladybug said
"Yeah. Ever heard the saying: 'All good things must come to an end?'" taunted Spider-Man
"What's wrong with all you guys!? Why you gotta be such haters!?" Bubbler yelled
He then lets out a roar of anger. Bubbler then took out his bubble sword and imprisoned all the teens in bubbles
"NOOO!" the team yelled as all the bubbles begin to float upward
"Outer space is the next stop for your precious peeps, and they're never coming back!" Bubbler said
Spider-Man then begins to take action as leaps off the gate and begins to web swings over to the building.
"Oh no you don't!" Bubbler said as he begins to fire red bubbles from his sword
Spider-Man used his reflexes to dodge them. He then sticks to the building and begins to run up. Once he is close enough, Spidey begins to shoot some web lines at the bubbles. Once they were caught, Spidey then pulls them in and begins to tie them to the antennae
"There. Hang tight everyone. We'll get you guys out of here after we take down Bubbler" Spider-Man told them
"Oh yeah!? Try this!" Bubbler said as he fired a green bubble at Spider-Man
"Look out!" Ladybug and Cat Noir yelled
Spider-Man just smirked
"Arachno-Sting!"
Spider-Man's hand glowed purple and when the bubble gets close, he touches the bubble making it freeze in place. Bubbler gasped shocked while Ladybug and Cat Noir were surprised
"Whoa! Did you see that?" Cat Noir asked
"Yeah. This is unbelievable" Ladybug replied
"Interesting. My Arachno-Sting ability also works on attacks and projectiles." Spider-Man said with a smirk
Bubbler growled in anger and leaps away with Ladybug, Cat Noir, and Spider-Man in pursuit. Bubbler who flew to the Eiffel Tower and then begins to shoot explosive bubbles at the three heroes who were climbing the tower while dodging them. Once they reached the top, the leap away when Bubbler fired an explosive bubble at them. Cat Noir looks to see his ring beeping again.
"I'm gonna switch back soon, hurry." he warned
"Me too. Go on Ladybug, use your Lucky Charm" Spider-Man said while looking at his bracelet which is also beeping
"Lucky Charm!" Ladybug said as she throws up her yo-yo. A big wrench came out of the magical ladybugs and lands in her hands
"A wrench?" Spider-Man said confused
"Your... plumbing skill is gonna help us out?" Cat Noir said confused also
Bubbler then fires an explosive bubble at Cat Noir, who dodges it and leaps onto the beam.
"Could use a little work! Is that all you got?" he asked
Ladybug looks around. Her Lucky visions highlights a vent, a vent pipe, the screw connected to it, and her wrench
"Got it" she said before turning to Spider-Man. "Spidey, you think you can back Cat Noir up?"
"Sure thing, boss. Help's on the way" the webslinger said as he shoots a web line and swings up. Ladybug couldn't help but giggle a bit as she runs to the vent
Meanwhile, Spider-Man swings upwards to see Bubbler attacking Cat Noir
"Hey, bubblehead!" he called "Why don't you try to hit me for a change?"
"Very well then" Bubbler said with a smirk
He then begins to fire explosive bubbles at Spider-Man who dodges them all. Spidey then begins to shoot some web balls at Bubbler who uses his bubble sword to swat them away. As they were fighting, Ladybug used her wrench to loosen the screw on the vent, making the pipe come loose. The pipe then flew up towards Cat Noir.
"Cat Noir, cover me!" Ladybug said
Cat Noir leaps down and grabs the pipe. He then lands on the ground
"Go on!" he yelled
Bubbler fires several explosive bubbles at him, but Cat Noir uses the steam from the pipe to deflect them. Bubbler then held up his bubble sword and is about to attack again, but Spider-Man took the chance to fire a web line at bubble sword and pulls it away from the akumatized villain
"I'll take that" he said as the sword gets into his hand
"Hey!" Bubbler yelled as he tries to get his sword back, but Spider-Man leaps away and shot another web line. He then begins to swing down
"Ladybug, think fast!" Spider-Man said as he hurls the bubble sword towards the heroine
"On it!" she said as she hurls her yo-yo to grab the sword and pulls it towards her. Ladybug then breaks it over her knee. "Get out of there, you nasty bug."
Just as the akuma came out of the sword, Ladybug opens her yo-yo
"No more evil-doing for you, little akuma. Time to de-evilize!"
Ladybug throws her yo-yo and captures the akuma
"Gotcha!" she said before releasing the purified akuma "Bye-bye, little butterfly. Miraculous Ladybug!"
Ladybug then throws the wrench up in the air which bursts into magic ladybugs. They then spread all over Paris, releasing all the adults imprisoned in Bubbler's bubbles especially all the teenagers that attended Adrien's party. Bubbler then falls to his knees and changes back into Nino.
"Who? Dude" he said
"Pound it!" The three heroes said as they gave a fist bump to each other.
"You can't run forever Ladybug and when I catch you, I will crush you! I will DESTROY ALL OF YOU!" Hawk Moth vowed as the window in his lair closes
The next day, the Dupain-Cheng siblings and Alya were walking to school when they see Chloé yelling at Sabrina
"What do you mean not for a week?!" she demanded
"There were no adults yesterday to deliver it." Sabrina answered timidly
"So what? Ridiculous, utterly ridiculous!" Chloé yelled as she storms into the school with Sabrina following after
"Ha ha! Serves Chloé right." Alya laughed
"I guess you can consider that karma for what happened yesterday." Marlin said with a smirk
"Oh Marlin" Marinette chuckled
"Hey girls! Hi Marlin!"
They turn to see Adrien coming out of his limo while wearing a blue scarf
"Yo, Adrien" greeted Marlin
"Hey, that's my scarf! He's wearing my scarf." Marinette said
Adrien then walked up to Nino
"Hey dude" Adrien greeted as he and Nino fist bump each other
"Yo, nice scarf, Adrien. Off the chain." Alya said to him
"Yeah, can you believe my dad got this for me?" Adrien asked much to the Dupain-Cheng siblings surprise "He's so awesome. He's been giving me the same lame pen for three years in a row."
"Wow, I guess anyone can change. Adults can be cool when you least expect it." Nino said
"Speaking of adults, I know my father said you were a bad influence, but-" Adrien said until Nino cuts him off
"We're good, Adrien, don't sweat it. We're buds. Always and forever." he assured
Marlin walked up
"Hey Adrien. Did you open my gift?" he asked
"Oh that. As a matter of fact, I did. I may be a fan of Jagged Stone, but I couldn't help but dance to some of the songs from the CD. I will admit, that song: What's Up Danger? has to be my favorite one of all. Thanks for making this for me Marlin" Adrien said
"Yeah dude. What he said. I have got to listen to this as well" Nino said
Marlin smiled at what they have said
"Well, we better get going. See you in class" Adrien said
"Laters" Nino said and they both walked into the school
Marlin then walks back to the girls
"You gotta tell him you were the one who knitted the scarf." Alya said to Marinette
"But he seems so happy about his dad. I don't want to spoil it for him." Marinette replied
"That's really sweet of you, sis" Marlin said earning him a giggle from her
"Aw, Marinette." Alya said as she and Marlin hugged her. "You're amazing, girl. You know that, right? And someday Adrien will figure it out too. Promise."
"What she said" Marlin added
Just then the bell rang
"Oh that's the bell." Marlin said "Come on. Let's get to class"
They all walked into the school to start class for today.
