Hello everyone! MiniTennyson here witha very special announcement...!
I decided that I will make a Ben 10 X Yu-Gi-Oh! crossover and I'll write 4 chapters ahead of time so I can post the fic.
Why did I decided to do this? Due to Ben 10 and Yu-Gi-Oh! some of my favorite childhood shows, me wanting to bring a homage to the late Derek J. Wyatt, Dwayne McDuffie and Kazuki Takahashi, and for me to have a fic I enjoy and look forward to doing when I'm feeling down or depressed(considering I've been kinda depressed and my anxiety was over the roof lately).
Anyways...the main idea is that this is an AU merger where pre-AF Ben moves to Domino City in Japan to live with Yugi and Solomon after his family notices him feeling down.
The fic will adapt the manga, S0, Duel Monsters anime and 4Kids content(a.k.a. manga's core storyline with some characters, lines and original content from the anime and 4Kids dub) alongside storylines from Ben 10 Alien Force and Ultimate Alien.
All I have in mind for Ben's possible love interests in the proper fic are either Serenity Wheeler/Shizuka Kawai or Miho Nosaka, just so I could have Ben have a relationship like he has with Julie in UAF.
For those wondering...no, this upcoming fic will not replace Lost Soul or result in that fic's cancellations, and instead considering how Lost Souls will have slow updates...
This crossover "The Alien Duelist" will just become my main fic with more stable and quick updates.

[00:16-00:33] The omnitrix symbol is seen floating in a black void before it zooms out to reveal the omnitrix resting on Ben's wrist as he slowly walks forwards from some green-colored relics as the logo of the fic appears on an alien language table relic:

Yugi is seen walking forward through the city of Domino, with Anzu, Jonouichi, Honda, Miko and Ben following close behind him, either smiling or chatting.
[00:34-00:49] You're on the path that you seem to know

[00:34-00:42] The scene shows a first person point of view of someone walking a golden egyptian maze, before close ups of Jonouichi's, Honda's, Solomon's, Anzu's, Miko's and Ben's faces with either serious or confused looks on their faces.
[00:42-00:49] A dazed-looking Yugi is seen slumping forwards as the millennium puzzle around his neck starts to glow a bright golden.
A taller and more imposing version of Yugi's shadow extends from under his feet, as golden eyes and the symbol of the millennium puzzle appear onto the shadow.

[00:50-01:07] Just let it out, bloodthirsty shouts

[00:50-01:00] Kaiba is seen laughing maniacally as he puts his Blue Eyes White Dragon card in front of him proudly and summons said monster.
A serious-looking Yami Yugi is seen glaring onwards towards Kaiba before using one of his cards to summon The Dark Magician.
The sequence then shows The Dark Magician attacking the Blue Eyes White Dragon, leaving a hole through the mighty beast.
[01:00-01:04] The scene then suddenly swaps to Albedo smirking as he uses his knockoff Omnitrix to transform into Humungousaur as Ben grits his teeth and uses his own real Omnitrix to transform into Swampfire.
Albedo's Humungousaur roars in brutality as Ben's Swampfire jumped in the air, dodging Humungousaur's attacks and launching a barrage of flames towards the dinosaur alien as the scene gets engulfed into flames.
[01:05-01:07] The scene shows Yugi and Azu sitting atop a house's roof as the camera moves upwards to show the beautiful sunlight bathing the city of Domino in a golden light.
[01:07-01:25] The answer that you wish to see

[01:07-01:10] Shadi is shown sitting in a dark room as his cold, lifeless orange eyes glare towards the camera. The Millennium Scale is shown appearing behind him, as ominous hieroglyphs appear behind him.
[01:10-01:15] The scene then swaps to showing Yami Bakura laughing darkly as his millennium ring glows an ominous pale golden.
Chibi figurine versions of Yugi, Jonouchi, Anzu, Miko, Honda and Ben are seen running away from Yami Bakura and towards the camera before the scene swaps midway through to reveal Yami Yugi, Ben and the others glaring towards Bakura.
[01:15-01:25] A sun and moon hit each other creating an eclipse, as Yagi Yumi appears out of the shadows.
Pre-chorus
[01:35-02:07] Step after step, I try to carry on

[01:35-01:44] The scene swaps again to show Domino City High School from the afar, with Yugi walking towards his class, Jonouichi greets him with showing the weird haired boy a tape containing who knows what dirty movie, leading to Anzu and Ben berate him for even thinking showing that to Yugi while Honda angrily hits a bench, with Miko not even noticing him, much to Honda's dismay.
[01:44-01:51] Yugi, Miko, Honda and Jonouchi are seen entering the Burger Shack while laughing, before suddenly both of them come to a halt with a weirded out face as they realize that the employers greeting them were none other than Ben and Anzu, much to their dismay.
[01:51-01:59] The following scene shows Ben sitting at a table at Mr. Smoothie's and enjoying a drink with his friends. Ben seems to be pretty bored until his face lightens up upon noticing a green car pulling over, revealing Kevin and Gwen who decided to join in with the fun.
[01:59-02:07] A green-haired boy by the name of Shougo Aoyama is seen walking on the street pretty downcast before smiling at the sight of his Red-Eyes Black Dragon card before getting upset by a bunch of bullies.
Ben and Yugi are seen having a small Duel Monsters game duel before the scene finally stops as the song picks up speed.

[02:07-02:22] Just let it out, bloodthirsty shouts
And let it pierce right through this small broken heart of mine

[02:07-02:11] Vilgax is seen roaring as he charges towards Chromastone with his sword ready before smirking as the sword basically breaks Chromastone into billions of pieces, much to the shock of Gwen, Kevin, Grandpa Max and everyone else present.
Vilgax prepares to walk away before suddenly Chromastone reforms into Diamondhead, charging towards Vilgax and launching
[02:11-02:16] A chained Jason Vorheees-looking masked figure is seen chasing after Jonouichi before he miraculously manages to escape just as the door to the room closes.
[02:16-02-22] A group of yoyo-wielding teens are seen cornering Yami Yugi on a roof, before they laugh and launch their yoyos at the teen, with Yami easily dodging the oncoming attack and reflecting it back at the group, causing them to his the roof beneath them and fall right through it.
[02:22-02:43] Inside your heart, you'll find the truth

Can we win life's harsh cruel game!
[02:22-02:28] Kevin is seen charging forward, his body clad into stone, his target seemingly being the energy vampire known as Michael Morningstar, who merely dodges the attack before grabbing the Osmosian by the face and launching him backwards through the ground.
[02:28-02:43] A zoom-in of Maximillian Pegasus's face and millennium eye are shown before he is seen towering over Ben, Yugi and friends with a smirk, with the group glaring at him in rage.
Bakura is seen smiling towards the camera before his eyes close in pain and Yami Bakura's silhouette appears from behind him.

[03:07-03:23] Just let it out, bloodthirsty shouts

[03:07-03:12] The chorus starts once more, with Kaiba screaming as Yugi summons the mighty card known as Exodia, causing the beast to attack Seto's heart, causing it to break into million pieces.
[03:12-03:17] An Highbreed attacked Humungousaur, sending him flying into some circuits. The Highbreed prepares to launch a punch towards the Vaxasaurian, but Humungousaur manages to get up and hit the other alien with his tail, sending him flying backwards.
[03:17-03:23] Hitudani is shown yelling in rage as he charges towards Jonouchi with his yoyo, the blonde teen dodges quickly by jumping from a railway and towards the ground below. Jonouichi grits his teeth as he suddenly gets punched, getting sent down to the ground in seconds, Hitudani towering over him with a smirk.
[03:23-04:17] Inside your heart, you'll find the truth

[03:23-03:30] Yugi is seen grabbing his head in pain as images of Kaiba, Yami Bakura, Albedo, Maximillian Pegasus, Vilgax, a shadowy figure and Darkstar flash before his eyes.
[03:30-03:36] Yugi then sees him and his friends in pain: Yugi being beaten down by bullies, Ben losing Grandpa Max, Jonouichi crying as he hears about Shizuka's blindness, Anzu being held at gunpoint, Miko laughing through tears as blood forms beneath her, Honda roaring in tears upon seeing Jonouichi trample over a pink bandanna that represented their friendship and Solomon collapsing on the ground.
[03:36-03:42] Upon seeing such pain and suffering, Yugi has enough as Yami Yugi finally awakens within him as Ben, Miko, Honda, Anzu and Jonouichi push him from behind.
Yami Yugi looks serious and cornered for a moment before smirking as he pulls out one of his strongest cards that attack Maximillian Pegasus's Toon World deck, causing a powerful green blinding light to produce.
[03:42-04:17] Ben looks towards the camera as pure energy enters the Omnitrix, before the music stops as…
Yugi, Yami Yugi and Ben appear in the center of a dark void, as Anzu, Jonouchi, Miko, Honda and Shizuka appear behind them with serious expressions, before Vilgax, Albedo, Zs'Skayr, Darkstar, Kaiba, Yami Bakura, Maximilian Pegasus and a figure with glowing golden eyes emerge from the shadows as the logo for the fic appears once more on the screen:

I don't have anything else to say on the idea now other than...if you somehow haven't read/watch the original Yu-Gi-Oh! series, I highly suggest you do so before the fic releases or the fic is written. If you don't want to then that's fine, you can read it regardless as I will adapt Yu-Gi-Oh! fully in this fic and try to explain things from the series.
While Ben 10 is admitedly a series closer to my heart than Yu-Gi-Oh!, considering I watched Ben 10 since I was 5 or 6 so I basically was born a Ben 10 fan while I didn't watch/read Yu-Gi-Oh! until I was like 12-14. But despite that...I consider both of them childhood series(I consider a series a childhood one only if I watched it until I became a teen, that being until I was 15) and I think a crossover between this two franchises would be awesome.
And lastly, I decided to keep Miho Nosaka from Toei's Yu-Gi-Oh! Season 0 as a main cast member in this fic. Even through she's an anime-only character that only appears in a major role in one obscure adaptation...I think she's a pretty good character that could get some fleshing out.

I didn't mean to say the word bestiality when Humungousaur roared, I thought it was just a synonym to ferality or brutality and just now I realised that it has another connotation. I intended it to be brutality and nothing else of that kind of nature. I'm sorry again for the incovenience. Hope no one was offended by it or that no one reported this to the FF mods due to one error.
