A random scene I wrote from an older idea of mine I don't know if I'll make a fic out of it, but it was just the scene I really wanted to write relaated to the Omintrix Brawler Ben 10 X Bakugan idea.

Ben Tennyson was part of the Battle Brawlers for a while now, even if battling the likes of Vilgax and Albedo took most of his time, he still made time to use his bakugan Leonidas in battle.

But even if that was the case…he still cared for them as his friends, family even. And when the bakugan-using villain Masquerade sent Dan to the Doom Dimension and stated to have Alice kept somewhere…

Of course Ben and the others cared enough to get sent to the Doom Dimension themselves. No one hurts the Battle Brawlers without paying for it!

Eventually…they found Dan, got put through trials by the Bakugan Guardians and eventually sent to fight Masquerade.

Ben. He was going to fight Masquerade. He needed to save Alice. Alice had always been there for him ever since he joined the group earlier this year, and he didn't know what he could've done if she didn't speak with him following Max's apparent death.

"Hey, dude. Let me handle this. Heh." Dan Kuso said with usual smirk as he pushed the teen hero slightly behind.

"What?! But, I-" Ben exclaimed, his face slightly turning into a frown. This is my fight, Dan!

"I said let me handle this, didn't I? C'mon, Ben, trust me on this one at least." the pyrus brawler said wit

No matter what Ben wanted through, Masquerade was having no interest in battling him, so he had no option but to put his pride aside and leave Dan handle this.

As long as that masked bastard gives Alice back and stops with this whole stupid reviving Naga stuff.

What followed that battle couldn't prepare any of them.

Ben got enraged at Masquerade after he tried to leave without saying where Alice was, prompting the teen hero to punch him in the face so hard that the mask broke into pieces.

Everyone's eyes widened upon seeing Masquerade's hair, face and body radically change…revealing the villain to have been…Alice all along.

"A…a…alice?!" The other Battle Brawlers exclaimed in shock and horror, feeling betrayed with what just happened.

The sudden exclamation of her name caused Alice to look over at her friends in confusion. Why were they giving her that look…did she do anything wrong?

"Alice…you're Masquerade…? TELL ME YOU AREN'T! " Ben yelled at his shy female friend with slight venom in his voice. He knew he shouldn't be mad…that maybe there would be another explanation for all of this but…he felt betrayed. Everyone present felt that way.

"W…w…what…? W…what are you guys talking about? I'm not…Mas…querade…!" Alice said in a slightly trembling voice before noticing the mask on the ground and the fact that she was wearing leather clothes instead of her usual green dress skirt.

"W…what am I wearing?! T…these aren't my clothes…g…guys…why do you keep looking at me like that…?" The girl asked in confusion as suddenly Runo came forth from her friends and grabbed Alice by the collar.

"BECAUSE YOU ARE MASQUERADE, ALICE!" Runo suddenly shouted, causing the redhead to flinch. "THAT'S WHY YOU HAVE THOSE CLOTHES AND THE MASK…YOU ARE MASQUERADE!"

"B…but…I can't…I don't…I…I'm not…him…wh…why don't you believe me?!"

"B…Ben! Y…you trust me right…! P…please believe me! Tell them I'm not Masquerade…B…Ben…?" Alice exclaimed at the omnitrix wielder but…Ben didn't say anything to take her defense and instead just looked away. He wanted to believe her…but the evidence was too strong for Alice to have been Masquerade all along. He saw it with his very eyes.

"Oh but you are, my dear granddaughter." A voice was heard as a hologram screen showing the face of Alice's corrupted grandfather Hal-G. "You have been Masquerade even since that experiment went wrong…developed a separate personality from yours like my Hal-G. You just didn't remember it…Masquerade didn't want you to remember."

"Hey! Just wait a moment!" Ben and Dan both growled at the green-skinned old man s the hologram vanished as the location where everyone else has fizzled out, revealing them to have

"Well, Alice! What do you have to say for yourself now?!" Runo growled at the redhead, but Alice started bursting into tears.

"I…I'm sorry everyone! I'm so sorry!" Alice exclaimed through sobs before running away from her friends.

"Alice, wait! Don't go! Alice…!" Ben exclaimed as he tried to stop her from leaving but it was too late too soon as the girl was already nowhere to be seen. "Look what you guys did! Are you happy with this? Alice left because you didn't believe her!"

"Us?! Hmph! Well, good that she left! Alice is a liar and a traitor! And don't try to make this look like this is our fault. Besides…you got angry at her too, didn't you?!" Runo yelled in slight heated anger as her green eyes showed nothing but pure anger.

"Maybe I did. But Hal-G said that Alice had no control or memories from her time as Masquerade! You can't really blame her for being possessed by some otherworldly force, can you?!" Ben exclaimed, hoping to get their friends realise that Alice was not hiding that from them but to no avail. Runo and everyone else still stood strong with their opinions and it didn't seem like anything he was going to say would change it.

"Sigh…you know what? Forget it. If you aren't going to help me go after Alice…then I'll do so alone!" Ben said before fiddling through the omnitrix playlist and transforming into the humanoid flying manta ray alien Jetray in a flash of green light.

He left after Alice, leaving the rest of the Battle Brawlers to sort their thoughts out and take care of their wounds.

Ben has been trying to find Alice for the past one week or two and it seemed like he wasn't going to find her too soon until he saw that said redhead recently uploaded a pic with her and two people: her uncle and aunt.
