oops almost a year since this was updated last I do apologise and hope this chapter makes up for it
Chapter 4
When Beryl awoke. She had wondered why she had succumbed to sleep although the flutter of wings. Gave her a small glimmer of hope. The small glimmer she would hold onto until the day she died.
On the moon- the queens meeting quarters
"Are you absolutely sure Hestia?" The queen asked to make sure she was not going insane, all the girl's parents looked to their leader and the woman she was talking to.
Hestia nodded "all of them exquisite from Hotaru she is much too young plus herself and Tsukiyomi have only just got clearance to court they are only fourteen years old. I am the goddess of birth as well as fire your highness no disrespect of course" Hestia replied
Serenity nodded "Haruka, Setsuna, Michiru the three keepers to Hotarus powers the girls must have unlocked the magic for them both to conceive at the same time." everyone nodded their agreements
"Will we have to find rebirth parents for their children?" Persephone asked.
Queen Serenity shook her head "there is a spell I had hoped I would never have to use but it looks as if I may have to. it's the sleep spell. The day the sun does not rise on the earth I will put the youngsters to sleep in their mothers wombs and when they soul bond the seal will break." the queen said.
"Do we tell the girls," Amphitrite asked.
The queen shook her head "we will tell them when they are reborn if the prophecy is fulfilled too early it will all go wrong."
"It's going to go wrong anyway so why not tell them" Zeus asked. The queen held her nose as if to take a headache off and was glad the man was back in Haruka's life but he hadn't been here long enough to understand what had already taken place, what steps they had already taken while he was away.
"We have taken many steps Zeus, the prophecy must be fulfilled as it is or the universe dies and we will be extinguished from all realms no one will remember us."
Zeus gasped, maybe he had been away far too long.
Haruka POV
being the senshi of the wind had it's advantages, when she had seen her father as well as all of the older senshi and their husbands going down the hall with their little ones to the meeting room she had hidden in hers and Michirus quarters and then had extended her hearing range and what she had heard had made her want to weep, herself and Michiru were expecting children as well as her sisters Rei and Makoto, but Ami and her leader counterpart Minako and the princess and they were going to die before they had met their children but then the queen had said something that had gave her hope there was a spell she could use.
"Haruka, we can go to the girls now" Michirus soft voice made her jump oh yeah they weren't allowed in their room that the eight went to on a daily basis to relax and just be normal girls she had wondered why.
When she turned to Michiru for some reason she felt worried " Zerua, Ryujin, shadow" the Uranian said the guardian dragons knew they would go in front of the couple while they walked the short distance to the joint quarters.
"Something has changed" Zerua whispered to her counterpart as they flew forward the male nodded
"I agree, my heart but we must let the prophecy be fulfilled," Ryujin replied.
"Will we have to leave them?" Zerua asked
We all will, we must face the demon before the girls do apart from Luna and Artemis they must stay here on the moon for when that day comes." he said to his wife, Zerua nodded but had tears in her eyes she could not tell him now although he may know. With how protective he was being.
At the girls quarters
Michiru POV
When they had arrived Michiru immediately left her lover's hand and went to her younger cousin "Ami, what happened?" she asked taking her into her arms
"Zoisite" was all she managed to get out before she burst into tears in Michirus arms
"They were like ragdolls, heads in the hands of the enemy, they are not here anymore." Minako spoke almost woodenly, it was so unlike the girl she knew who was almost too open and had been chastised a few times by Haruka in fun of course.
"The foul demon has used a human wall if we were to rescue them, many innocents would be hurt" it was Makoto who spoke next
"But there is nothing, no one left to rescue, we will die soon. Serenity almost died today, a poison arrow in the side. Thankfully our healers were able to remove it and she will recover." Rei let the sentence hang in the air
"Before we die" Setsuna said.
"But I don't want to die, me and Tsukiyomi are only fourteen" Hotaru said tears threatening to spill
"And we are not much older 'Taru-chan" Haruka said taking the younger teen into her arms "but we have to, we will be reborn and we will find our way back to each other"
"My powers, you will forget I am the senshi of death and rebirth, you will see me as the harbinger of death and try to kill me before my thirteenth birthday" Hotaru replied.
"It won't happen Hotaru, I will make sure." Serenity said still in Endymions arms, she sounded tired but absolutely certain.
"Okay, I'm glad you're okay Serenity." Hotaru said
"Me too, but now we must prepare for battle, Mother is going to speak to master Kenji to increase our lesson time." the other girls nodded that they would need all the training they could get before the time came.
