A/N the first few years there will be a lt of timeskips because if I don't do it I will end up writing way more than needed, eventually I may go back and add more so that the story flows better and the characters explain how they developed differently than in normal Danmachi such as Bell being much more mature and less childish. Bell will be a little older because I want him to be, deal with it.
In the middle of the forest, there was a girl with crimson hair lying on the ground, her body was covered by a white dress that was completely tattered and ripped all over. Walking towards this girl was a 9, almost 10 year old boy with silver-white hair and deep red crimson eyes, standing beside him was an older man, looking around 60 years old with gray hair and a beard of the same color.
"Grandpa! This girl looks injured, we should bring her back to the house to help her get better." The frantic exclamation came as the red eyed boy landed his eyes on the girl.
"Okay Bell, I'll help you with bringing her back, get a blanket for her inside the house so she can use that instead of what she has now." Saying that the boy ran away to grab what he said was needed for the girl.
"The fire spirit Hiiro, how did she get here this injured? Though she looks like she lost most of her power, I need to have Hermes get me information on if anything has happened recently." The one Bell called grandpa spoke about this in a low voice as he picked up the spirit, bringing her back to the house.
Hours passed, Bell had covered up Hiiro who now looked to be sleeping on the couch, her eyes fluttering open. She wanted to panic but didn't have enough energy to do so.
"Oh, you woke up! How are you feeling, Miss?" Jumping around due to excitement Bell yelled, seeing this Hiiro took inside of her surroundings, looking around the interior of the cabin.
"Where… am I?" Hiiro asked, taking this as his initiative Zeus responded.
"Bell, can you go get some food from the farm for dinner, we need more for an extra person." Bell, hearing this, sped out the door, going to find more food so that Hiiro could eat with them.
"Hiiro, what is the last thing that you remember before you woke up?" Surprising the spirit, Zeus knew her name, she couldn't tell that Zeus was a god because he was able to perfectly hide his aura from others.
"I… I'm not sure, I was just walking around and then." She cut herself off, while she was speaking she felt like she could open up to him for some reason, like he was familiar but she couldn't tell. This phenomenon happened because the one in front of her was Zeus however he was perfectly hiding his aura.
"Then what, can you not remember what had happened to you?" Zeus questioned her, he was curious what had happened to her, she was one of the more powerful spirits that resided in Gekiei
"No, why do you ask?"
"Just curious about what happened to you, when my grandson found you and I saw you, your state was very bad." After saying this Zeus stopped his questioning for the time being. He would save it for a later time and decided not to ask now, he knew she likely wouldn't tell him much right now. Understanding that Bell would be back with more food soon he went to prepare the kitchen for dinner to be had.
Seeing him leave the room, Hiiro slumped back into the couch, making herself comfortable where she was. Around 2 and a half minutes passed until Bell made it back, coming back he entered through the door with a basket in hand, the basket had a very sweet aroma to it or so Hiiro thought. Hiiro didn't need food to survive but it was nice to have, for her it was a nice treat so she looked forward to eating what was going to be cooked.
"Grandpa, I got more food so we have enough for the pretty lady, can we have dinner soon?" Hearing this, Hiiro was startled, she did not expect to be called a pretty lady instead of her name but she was by no means mad about it.
"That's my boy Bell, I'll start cooking dinner soon so just wait a little while I prepare it." Zeus quickly replied to Bell's excitement in tune, Hiiro having gotten back to her senses hearing Zeus speak made a comment on what was said.
Hearing this Bell turned to look over at the couch seeing her all healed up, or so it seemed to his untrained eyes he questioned her.
"Hello miss?" Wanting to know her name Bell started with that, he assumed that she could tell what his name was so he had no need to introduce himself with it.
"Call me Hiiro, that's my name." Bell's eyes lit up at this comment, her name reminded him of the stories his grandfather told her.
"Wow! That's such a cool name, I have never heard of someone having that name before."
"Thank you, I like my name very much."
"That's great, I like my name a lot as well." Bell puffed out his chest while saying that, seemingly having much pride in his name.
"Thank you for saving me Bell
"You're welcome, I was doing what the people in the hero stories always do and what grandpa always told me to do."
"I see, so you like hero stories?"
"Yes, they are great, I'll get one for us to read, I'm sure that you will like it."
Running off to his room, Bell grabbed a book, the cover was hand drawn, neatly yet imperfectly. The book was a picture book that Zeus had drawn of the tale of the hero, Argonaut.
"This one." He said coming out of his room going towards the couch that Hiiro sat on.
Zeus finishing preparing dinner gave him no time to read the book, however, coming out to the table near the living room, Bell saw him placing the plates to eat on the table and so did Hiiro, seeing that, they went over to sit at the table.
Eating dinner Bell and his grandfather talked like normal while Hiiro sat on the side seeing what was going on trying to understand who the old man was.
The laughter protruded throughout the air with the happy atmosphere that was always there. During these times Zeus could let his mind run free and just enjoy the time with his grandson, something he never knew he would ever enjoy. Seeing this he came to a realization that had taken since he came into existence to realize, he had never thought about it and normally accepted it when it was said.
'I, and the other gods, we all really can change. It might be harder than mortals such as Bell, but in the end we all can. I enjoy this, if this was thousands of years ago I don't think that I would have, maybe no one noticed this because the change happens too slowly and no one noticed but I have changed, and I enjoy it.'
This realization made happier than he already was and the edges of his mouth curved up slightly more than they already were.
Dinner passed in a flash for Bell and Zeus, enjoying each other's company throughout it, eventually doing the same that they did during dinner until it was time for Bell to go to bed. After finally putting Bell to bed it was time for him to talk to Hiiro.
Coming into the main room he found Hiiro on the couch sitting politely on the left side of the couch. The couch she was sitting on was a seemingly homemade couch out of farm materials, though it was lower quality it was equally as comfortable as a couch that one would get from a normal store.
"I think that you are curious about who I am if my assumption is correct?"
To this question coming from Zeus, Hiiro nodded in response, curious about who he was and how he knew who she was without her telling him anything about who she was.
"Well how I know about who you are is because I am a god, to be specific I am the god of the skies Zeus. That is how I know about who you are although I'm curious about how you came to be injured out in the forest."
"Z-Zeus-sama, I guess that explains how you knew me but if it really is you why do you have a grandson and are just a normal villager right now?"
When Zeus was introducing himself he stopped holding back all of his divine presence and let out a little of it directed at Hiiro to show he was being truthful about who he really was, doing that Hiiro noticed that he wasn't lying about who he was.
"Well that's a bit complicated, he is one of the last remaining people of my familia technically, to be specific his mother is from Hera's familia while his father was from mine though they are both dead now unfortunately."
"I see, do you know where any of my siblings are right now?"
When she says siblings she talks of the other 5 great spirits other than her.
"No, unfortunately I only know where Aria is and saying I know where she is, well that's a little of a stretch. She was kidnaped by the One Eyed Black Dragon after it killed Albert so wherever it is is where she is."
"I see… That is indeed disappointing but at least that means she is still alive, I would like to say that I will go find them but I have no idea where to start to look for them."
"I have a suggestion, why not stay here with me and my grandson, eventually he will likely go to Orario where the dungeon is, I know that there are a few corrupted spirits inside of it so maybe that will help you once he becomes an adventurer."
"I don't know, it doesn't sound bad but I'm unsure about it."
"You don't have to, but for now why not stay, you can leave if you ever want to."
"Thank you for the offer Zeus-sama, I will stay here with you and your grandson then."
"You should eventually tell Bell that you are a spirit, I'm sure he would have a lot to talk to you about."
"I won't tell him now, maybe one day I will tell him."
Zeus and Hiiro talked until they decided to sleep at night. Hiiro helped them out by extending the house to add a room for her and making their own personal farm, the next time that Hermes was coming would be in 1 year, another guest would be coming in a few months. Alfia and Zald were coming before they decided to start their plan officially.
The months before they came passed quickly, Bell had his birthday turning 10. In these months Hiiro had started to enjoy Bell's company more and more, becoming very close to him, she started to teach him about magic to help his curiosity, Hiiro at one point as well told him about her being a spirit. During the time they were together she noticed that he possessed extraordinary talent that allowed him to acquire a magic very similar to Alfias, even when he had not seen it. The magic was called "Nensho." It was a no-chant magic that manipulated the particles causing head towards the target, causing a block of the molecules in the air to send at the target by chanting "Kukio" or it was able to disrupt the flow of mind weakening all magic that wasn't a no chant type by saying the magics' name, Nensho.
"Bell, here are some of the potatoes, can you put them inside the basket?"
Hiiro and Bell were currently collecting some of the potatoes that they would need for dinner, these were the last of the many things that they had collected for the dinner so that the guests Zeus said were coming would have enough to eat.
"Okay, do you know who Grandpa was saying is coming over?"
"No, I'm not sure, but we should go back to the house now."
"Yeah, let's go home and see if the guests Grandpa talked about were here yet."
Saying that, both walked side by side up from the farm with an assortment of fruits and vegetables inside of their basket. Coming close to the house they heard some light chatter, this notified them that the guests were already there. Opening the door, Bell and Hiiro made it to the living room.
Making their way into the living room there were 2 people that neither of them had seen before, one was a beautiful silver haired girl in a very revealing gothic dress. The dress was a very dark gray with silver and black outlines, at the bottom of the dress it was green. Her face was that of someone in her early twenties, some might even say younger. The womens eyes were peculiar, one of them was an illustrious silver, the same as her hair while the other was a beautiful shade of green.
The next one was a man in full plate armor with a red cape going down his back with hair of the same color. He stood only an inch short of 7 feet tall with his face having 5 scars on it, 2 were on his right eye and 2 on his left as well but above his left eye there was another scar. The eyes that had these scars were silver, the one in the armor was standing while the other was sitting elegantly on the couch both looking at who just came in.
"Grandpa we're back, we got the rest of the food you asked us to get." The eyes in the room looked at Bell momentarily but noticing Hiiro they looked at her noticing she fit the description and drawings of Zeus perfectly, as well as the aura around her suspicions rose about who she really was.
"Bell, Hiiro, our guests got here a little earlier than expected." Zald unknowingly sat normally, he was highly skilled and an amazing warrior but his knowledge on magic was not that high. Alfia however instantly knew that the energy that Hiiro emitted was not normal, seeing this she assumed she was some kind of spirit or a demi-spirit.
"Who are these people, grandpa?" Looking in awe at the size of the large man Bell asks, he had never seen anyone so huge and intimidating before.
"The one in the armor is called Zald, and the one on the couch is your Au-" Trying to say aunt he got cut off by Alfia, she gave him a glare that could only be called death, making Zeus sweat before speaking.
"Alfia, my name is Alfia."
When Bell had come into the room Alfia was enamored by his sound, to Alfia sound encapsulated all, to Alfia, Bells sound was calm and pure, it was not annoying to her ears in any way, in fact she liked his sound, similar to what a normal person would think of a beautiful calm song was played on a piano.
Giving Zeus a glare was the first time she had taken her eyes off Bell, the moment that he came into the room she first looked at him in disgust due to the red eyes that he had, once she had done that though she quickly looked at the rest of him and became happy. Bell looked very similar to her sister, and Bell's mother when she was a child. Noticing this and the sound he emitted she couldn't help but get the desire to stay with him. Staying with him would ruin the plans with Erebus, herself and Zald fell apart due to her desire to stay with the child that took over, both Zald and Zeus noticed this, Zald sighed slightly, knowing that he would need to go through with the preparation and completion of the plans completely on his own.
"What is a spirit doing here, they should all be dead according to what you said old man."
Saying this shocked Zald, he didn't show it but he was surprised that she was a spirit, he nor Alfia had never seen one before so this was a first for him. Zald, thinking about her being a spirit, focused on the aura she emits finally noting that it was not an aura a normal person would give off.
"We can talk about that later Alfia, I assume by the look that you gave earlier that you want to stay with the boy?"
"Maybe, now stop being noisy and start preparing dinner with Zald."
Hearing Alfias statement they started to prepare the food not wanting to face her wrath they did it while not making any noise at all. In the living room Alfia was still on the couch not moving, across from her Bell sat in Hiiro's lap while she read a story to him, the story that she was reading was his favorite, Argonaut. Alfia sat and listened to it, happy that Hiiro was reading quietly, she noticed that even Zeus whom she respected due to him being a god was currently cowering in fear of her wrath so she decided not to find out why for herself.
Bell was 10 and becoming mature very fast but he was very naive, sitting on Hiiros lap was not something a 6 year old would normally do, Bell however didn't know this, he had gotten used to it over the years with his grandfather so why should it be different with her he thought so Hiiro had gotten used to it, Alfia was curious though how long they had known each other as they seemed to be extremely close, peaking her curiosity.
Finishing making dinner they all sat down, silently eating dinner, the reason it was silent was because when Zeus had gotten too loud at one point bringing in the dinner, Alfia had said Gospel, throwing him through the wall.
As Bell finished he was asked to leave the room so that the adults could chat alone, or so he was told.
"So old man, why a spirit here, shouldn't most of them be dead or missing somewhere?"
"Yes, they should be, however it seems she is one that isn't."
"Alfia, I assume that you changed your mind about what we talked about earlier with Erebus." Knowing the answer even if he didn't like it, Zald asked.
"Yes, but first I want to get a cure to my disease, if I don't I will die before he turns 18. If I were to get my status updated I assume that I would level up but I refuse to let the pervert do it. Doing it would end giving me some more time but not much more so I should find a cure first and getting your falna is a last resort."
"I will send someone to search for a cure for you, if you're going to stay here we will need to make another room for you, though I'm curious, did Hera unlock your falna so that you can transfer if you ever wanted to."
Hiiro throughout the conversation had been silent, not wanting to interrupt and also because she had nothing to add to it either, she had an idea of how to fix Alfias disease but wasn't sure. Thinking that it was an opportunity to speak she interjected before Alfia had replied.
"If I may, there may be a way to heal it, using my magic, if enough mind is available we could reconstruct your body from the inside out by destroying and reconstructing every cell in your body. If I make a spirit contract with Bell and he becomes proficient enough at using my powers he may be able to heal you though there is great risk involved but I believe he can do it. He is very talented, more than anyone I have ever seen before, he was able to learn a magic spell that I have never heard of before in only a few months so there is a chance for him to be able to do it however it will take time for him to learn and I don't want to force him into it."
The ones in the room were shocked at this statement, entering Bell into the contract could have some negative effects if he couldn't control the power that she had given him.
"If you are going to have him heal Alfia that would be great and he would gain knowledge that way, it will take time for him to learn so I will use my contacts to help you try and get a temporary cure for you."
"I will talk to Erebus and see if he can try to find something for you as well, even if you don't participate in what we were planning I think if I ask he can try and find something as well."
"Alfia, you should teach the boy magic, he is similar to you in learning everything he sees at once and he has basically the same magic as your Gospel, teaching him magic will help him learn how to better control Hiiros power and be able to heal you."
Zald started sweating at this comment, so did Zeus. In fact while he was saying it, Alfia was known to be a hellish teacher who would always be disappointed in her students progress but she was the only one who could help with his teaching.
"A-Are you sure that you should ask her that?" Asking that was an obvious mistake on Zalds part, as soon as he said that the glare Alfia gave him would have killed him had it been any more intense it seemed.
"Are you saying I'm not a good enough teacher?" The tone was menacing, so infused with the aura of death already around her it even made Hiiro and Zeus afraid when they weren't the targets.
"No! That's not what-!" He was panicking at the prospect of what to come so started talking louder and quicker, doing so it got too loud for Alfia, only 1 word was heard once he was cut off.
"Gospel."
As soon as that was said he was in the wall, his weight and level 7 strength were nothing in front of Alfias magic that quickly put him into the wall hurting him far more than it should have.
"So noisy, don't yell like that, I will teach the boy myself, I can't have the old man fill his mind with perverted fantasies, he has already filled him with the desire to be a hero." Alfia scoffed when she made her last remark
"Do you not want him to be a hero and help others to fulfill his dream?" Hiiro asked this trying to understand why she didn't want him to be a hero, while she had only been here with Bell for a half a day Hiiro could tell she cared for the boy. Seeing her not want Bell to fulfill his dream perplexed her.
"I don't want him to have to be a hero, it would be better if the world didn't need a hero at all but the world is cruel and from what you have said he is far more skilled than any of those that are left in Orario, on top of that you are saying that you will enter in a contract with him, doing that will increase his level from what it already is. Although I'm curious, what is the growth rate of someone with a spirits blessing, I understand Albert was strong without a falna but a spirits blessing instead so what is the difference?"
"In the end Alfia, what happens if he doesn't become the hero that we are expecting, then what happens to the world?"
Concerned with her choice even though he has accepted it Zald asks to make sure that in the end she wont regret her choice.
"I am fine with that. If the world collapses because of my choice then I will admit my naivety but even then I won't regret it."
"You're so stubborn Alfia, why can't you just be a little lenient for once."
"Gospel."
After saying that one word, the wall of the house was blown through, it was a miracle that Bell had not woken up from his deep sleep.
"Cough, Cough."
Through the rubble of the wall that was once there a cough was heard coming from Zald.
"Say that again and it will be much worse."
To say that Hiiro was shocked yet again at how violent Alfia could be was an understatement, she understood how powerful the magic that Alfia had just used was. To the spirit the power of this magic was outrageous, she knew of some no chant magic as a spirit but none of the ones she had seen came close to this power as well as being invisible to the naked eye.
"I will stay here, end of story, don't question me anymore."
Saying that the discussion ended, no one wanted to get hurt anymore by Alfias magic.
Many months had passed since that day had happened, Alfia began living with them making the house have 4 people now. Zald continued his plan with Erebus, a year until Zald started to do what he was needing to do.
During the time with them being there Bell had overheard many things that he most likely shouldn't have, one of those things being that because Alfia stayed here there might not be heroes of the next generation to protect the world from the great evil that lurked in the shadows, seeing that this was because of him he vowed to himself to be this last hero that he had heard his grandfather talk about.
Bell had heard another thing, he had heard about the incurable disease that Alfia had, hearing about this and that she didn't have long to live he started out by running off to the farm in tears. Bell cried for 3 hours straight learning that Alfia might die and that he couldn't do anything about it at all, finding this unacceptable he goes to talk with Hiiro about it knowing that she know about it.
Sitting on a hill under a tree, Hiiro and Bell sat side by side next to each other. Under Bell's eyes there were slight bags that he got from staying up all night contemplating about who he would talk with this about and about how he would find out the truth eventually settling on Hiiro as the best option.
"Hiiro, is it true that Alfia has an incurable disease and she might die soon?"
Asking this Hiiro was surprised, they had not yet told Bell about the fact that she could die, nor had they told him there was a possible way to cure her.
"Where did you hear this Bell?"
Hiiro asks curious however she would not expect the answer that she would get from him.
"Don't avoid it! Is it true or not?! If so, why are you all hiding it from me, I should be allowed to know if someone I care about is going to die."
Barely holding back tears Bell questioned Hiiro, once he finished his statement though they became like a slowly dripping tap, failing to hold them back letting one out every so once in a while.
"I-."
Not able to make a reply in the moment Hiiro stops herself, seeing Bell state she moves slightly closer to him pulling him into her arms as to hug him. Now in Hiiros arms Bell turns to her facing her chest which he then plants his face into so that he could cry into her.
"Sigh. Yes, it is true that she has a disease that is supposedly incurable, however there is a possible way that we can cure it although it is not guaranteed."
Reluctantly she answers his question knowing that it would most likely be worse had she not told the small child that what he thought was indeed true but also slightly wrong and that there is a possibility to cure her however they didn't want to force the responsibility onto Bell.
They planned to have Bell cure her because if Hiiro made a contract with Alfia there was a chance that the illness would affect Hiiro making her unable to cure Alfia and make them both sick and more weakened in the end. It was a good plan, however it put all the responsibility on someone that they all cared for and did not want to put him under the stress of needing to be able to complete the task. This viewpoint seemingly backfired, seen by the current state of the boy that Hiiro was hugging.
"I-Is there really no way? Can we r-really not cure her? She shouldn't have to die, I should be able to save her. Why can't we just save her?"
Questioning these things, Hiiro knew that if she were to tell him it might make Alfia mad and doing so would not be a favorable outcome for Hiiro or Bell in any way but she felt as if she owed it to him to tell him that there was a possible way to help her.
'I hope she doesn't do much to me for telling him.'
Thinking that Hiiro decides that she will tell Luffy about the possible way to help cure Alfia.
"Yes… There is a possible way to do it however it will be extremely hard."
Getting cut off before she could finish what she was going to say, Bell grips Hiiros clothes looking up at her. While Bell didn't cut off Hiiro she was surprised at the action he made, stopping herself to see if he would say anything to what she was saying. The silence that it caused lasted a few seconds, looking into Bell's eyes, Hiiro saw the hope that her statement brought, seeing this she realized that if he were to fail to save Alfia it would most likely break him, recognizing this it saddened Hiiro.
Hiiro decided to make a statement to herself, she decided to promise to herself that she would train Bell hard enough to make sure that he could save Alfia knowing that once he realized that he could save her he would stop at nothing trying to do so.
"Sigh, I told you how I was a spirit, meaning that I can make contracts with people to give them different abilities than normal people."
"Mhm."
No words came out of his mouth, only acknowledging it with a humm and a nod.
"Unfortunately I cannot make a contract with her because it's possible that her illness will affect me as well, however, if I were to make a spirit contract with you, it is possible that once you can control my powers enough you can cure her."
"I can!?"
A reply filled with joy came from Bell, he was panincing originally that he wouldn't be able to save one of the people that he loved dearly in his life, finding out that he could made him ecstatic, deciding to put all of his effort into being able to save her.
"Yes, but it will be hard, I'm sure you understand that but I think that you can do it but it will take some time."
"I want to start now, I want to cure her as soon as possible."
In a stern voice that even surprised Hiiro and with the seriousness that was displayed throughout his eyes, seeing this Hiiro used her fingers to wipe off the lingering tears that were let out of Bell's crimson eyes and rolled down his cheek. Picking Bell up with her carrying him into her arms she started to walk down to the house from the tree.
Walking to the house Bell jumped out of Hiiros arms landing on the ground in an almost falling manner. Before he fully falls onto the ground, Hiiro catches him to make sure that he doesn't get injured.
Entering into the house Alfia is seen elegantly sitting on the couch with her hair up, seemingly having recently gotten out of the bath. Seeing Alfia, Zeus is also seen in the kitchen working delicately on what seems to be some kind of homemade chips, the eye catching thing to most people was the fact that he seemed to be beaten up and injured which was shown with the bruises that covered over him, making his left eye unable to open. Seeing the ones who entered Zeus walked towards the room where Alfia was, limping ever so slightly on the way there.
"Bell, why don't you go to your room first? I will bring a book there for you to read."
Saying that it confirmed the suspicion of both Alfia and Zeus through what Hiiro said, likely wanting him to leave the room so the adults could talk in private. While their suspicions had been confirmed, noting this Zeus sat down on a wooden chair that he had brought from a nearby table, its sliding sound which overlapped over the quick footsteps that came from the small boy that was Bell heading to his room.
The sound of a door shutting was overheard throughout the smaller house, followed by a sigh coming from Hiiro getting ready to talk about the topic that was needed to be talked about at the moment, following up the sigh she started with what she needed to talk about.
"It seems that Bell overheard us when we were talking about your illness last night, Alfia."
This surprised Alfia, she had put Bell to bed last night and she thought that he was asleep, speculating Alfia seems to think that after Bell went to sleep he was woken up shortly after by the door shutting.
"Sigh. Well, it was going to happen eventually, I assume by what you said means that he is going to try and cure me."
Alfias statement came laced with a little regret inside of her voice, she knew that it was her fault for Bell crying over her being sick due to her never telling him about it.
"Yes, he was very determined to cure you once he heard me say that it was possible for him to cure you."
"I wish he didn't find out this way, maybe I should have just told him about my condition in the first place, it might have hurt him less in the end. I can't change the past though so I really shouldn't dwell on it."
"Alfia, are you going to train Bell with Hiiro as well, it might be helpful for you to train him in combat, Hiiro you should start training him with the needed knowledge that he needs and Alfia you should teach him in combat, I can get a sword for him to use but strengthening his body will be very important if he wants to enter a contract with Hiiro. In the meantime I will have hermes get me a root of the holy tree, it should slow down the illness."
"Good old man, you better keep what you said. Sigh. I was supposed to die with Zald anyway, but I guess I'll live for Bell, tch, who would have thought I would want to stay alive due to that stupid perverts son instead of joining my sister up there but here I am living so that Bell won't have to be sad."
Even with her deep hatred of Bell's mother, and her desire to join her sister in death, meeting up with her again Alfia decided to live. To Hiiro she was surprised that Alfia had wanted to die and join her sister but to Zeus he understood this, showing a slight smile to the fact that the queenly and arrogant Alfia was admitting to wanting to live for the purpose of someone else.
"Hahaha, if I were to tell anyone 7 years ago that you said that you would live your life for someone else so they don't have to be sad, no one would believe me, they would think I was dreaming and crazy."
"Say that again old man and you will have to repair the wall that you will go through again."
Hearing the threat that Alfia had just made Zeus froze up, not wanting to get sent through the wall again, nor did he want to have to repair it again due to how much effort it took for him to do that.
"Well, you should start training Bell, the quicker that he is able to cure you the happier he will most likely be, if you need something then I will have Hermes bring it here, The times he has been here Bell has liked him anyways so it wouldn't be that bad for him to come here, I can get him to bring you some books as well to read,"
"Tch, as long as he doesn't do anything stupid it's fine, in the last 2 times he came here you have managed to get Bell to call him uncle so as long as he doesn't make Bell do anything stupid and brings me new interesting books then fine."
Arrogance was laced into these words as she flips her hair back behind her head, Seeing this Zeus holds back a chuckle, making sure that he doesn't laugh out loud as not to get thrown into the wall again, barely succeeds in holding back his laughter.
"Sigh, well, I'm going to get in contact with Hermes, you should start training Bell if you are going to go through this in the end."
"Tsk."
Annoyed at Zeus just walking away, seemingly wanting to get out of his responsibility she tsk's in annoyance.
Debating if she should send him into the wall out of spite, Alfia ponders if she should send Zeus back to heaven.
'Tsk, if I send that senile old man to heaven I won't be able to get my books and Bell will likely hate me, I should just read for now, that old brat.'
Thinking this, Alfia sinks further into the couch as Hiiro walks off into Bell's room to help teach him more about what is needed, waiting to see what will happen in the months to come.
