In the year 96AG, a freshly banished 13-year-old Prince Zuko discovers a strange boy frozen in an iceberg. When Zhao interferes with Zuko's plans to deliver the Avatar to Ozai, Aang helps Zuko and Iroh escape. Azula has battled with expectations since she was born, not knowing anything but the need to surpass them. Regretfully dragged along with the group as they cross the world to finish Aang's training and find a way to defeat the Zire Nation, Zuko begins to question what he was taught about other nations. Can he learn to trust Katara? Or will he help his father burn the world?

So this is just for fun. AU, non-canon, whatever you want to call it. Not to be taken seriously in any way, shape, or form. Katara buys a cursed trinket at the market. Not that she believes in curses, mind you, but it does all seem to go downhill from there.

Mai and Zuko deal with the changes in the Fire Nation, trying to bring hope to the nation and the world, but with the mounting stress in their lives and the turbulence of a mending nation, it is hard to find time to enjoy each other's company. A small trip to Zuko's mother's home in Hira'a goes array and Mai and Zuko find themselves in an unknown destination. Sequel to Sparky.

Personally, I have always been of the opinion that being a benevolent peacetime king is nothing short of torture. Or, my own take on continuing after the end of "The Last Airbender" TV show, centered around Azula's redemption and Zuko dealing with life in general. Zucest story, so here's your warning.
