Chapter 1
Our story begins in Gotham City. At this moment, a young boy was currently at the hospital, getting some rest. Suddenly, his doctor came in.
"Hello, Doctor." the boy said.
"Good evening, Roger. I'm here to let you know that your procedure will take place in two days from now." the doctor said.
"Once it's done, will I be all right?" Roger asked.
"Yes, good as new." the doctor said. He then noticed Roger was shaking.
"Is something wrong?" the doctor asked.
"I'm just nervous." Roger said.
"It'll be fine. You'll be asleep the whole time and when you wake up, it'll be all over." the doctor said.
"By the way, where are Mom and Dad?" Roger asked.
"I think they said they went out to look for someone and then they'd be here." the doctor said.
Elsewhere, Batgirl was currently gliding over the rooftops on patrol. The night had been fairly quiet, save for your usual robber. Batgirl was thinking she might turn in, when suddenly…
"Excuse me, Batgirl!" she heard someone call. She looked and saw a man and woman down on the street, waving her down.
She landed, "Is something wrong?" she asked.
"We have a very important favor to ask of you. You see, our son is in the hospital. He's very sick." the woman said.
"He happens to be a huge fan of yours, so we were hoping you'd go visit him." the man said.
"Of course." Batgirl said.
"Another thing." the woman said before she explained it to Batgirl.
