Artie was locked up tight in the Hazzard jail, awaiting his transfer to Atlanta. Or was he? Nope. He was waiting for his friend to come bust him out.
Anyhow, Enos was guarding the prisoner. Yeah, no, he wasn't: he was sleeping at the desk.
Artie paced his cell, awaiting his escape. Just then a woman dressed in a black hoodie came into the sheriff's office. Seeing that Enos was sleeping, she quietly grabbed the keys and relased Artie. Then they ran outside and got into her car, hauling ass outta there. Enos heard the car start, and seeing that his prisoner was gone, he ran outside to his car.
"Sheriff! Jailbreak!" Enos shouted into the CB. Then he remembered, he was the sheriff since Rosco was recovering at home.
Thankfully, the Duke boys heard him on their CB: "Artie got away, Enos?" Luke asked.
"Oh, thank goodness you heard me! Yeah, he did! He's tearin' down route 14 right now! I'm hot on his tail!"
"Alright, we'll see if we can't cut him off around the junction with highway 18."
"Thank you Luke! I'll keep pressing up the rear!" Enos floored it.
"I wonder how he got out?" Bo scratched his head. "Wasn't Enos gaur- oh, Enos was guarding him." Bo chuckled.
"It don't matter how he got out, jus' that he gets back in."
"I'll take this shortcut here." Bo decided.
"There ain't no road there." Luke warned.
"I'll make one!" Bo swerved off the road and started 'making a shortcut'.
"Hang on, cousin... YEEEEEHAAAAW!" and the General Lee was airborne.
Meanwhile, the mysterious woman and Artie were still hauling ass away from Enos.
"What took you so long?" Artie asked her.
"I'm sorry, I didn't hear you were in the clink until two days ago."
"That was the easiest jail break I've ever been a part of." Artie laughed.
"Well, that deputy wasn't much a of threat."
"He's still on our tail."
"I know, but I can lose him."
Maybe she can lose the Hazzard law, but can she lose the Dukes of Hazzard?
The General Lee landed right on the back of Artie and the woman's car.
"What the hell?" She shrieked. She pulled a gun from her hoodie and handed it to Artie. Then she pulled another one for herself.
Bo and Luke jumped down from inside the General Lee and Enos swerved up behind. Enos drew his gun, and Bo whisked the woman out of the car. She pushed the gun into his side, but she was a wimp, so he easily took it from her and threw it under the car. Luke walked around the other side to get Artie, but he'd already come out of the car, gun drawn.
"Drop it deputy!" He ordered, and Enos dropped it. "Now all of you get in the cop car!" he ordered. "Gimmie your cuffs, pig." Artie demanded.
Enos handed his cuffs to him. "You got any more?"
"In the console, sir." Enos' hands were trembling.
Artie cuffed Bo to Luke and shoved them both into the backseat. The woman got her gun out from under the car and guarded the boys.
Artie got the other set of cuffs and cuffed Enos to Luke, since he was in the middle seat. "Alright let's go!"
The woman got in the passenger seat, keeping her gun trained on the Enos and the Duke boys.
"You could lose them, huh, Rose?" Artie chuckled.
"Well we've got 'em now." She smiled coldly.
"Miss Gilford?" Luke asked.
"What's it to you?" Artie asked.
"Oh, I met them the other day." Rose explained.
"Casing the locals, huh? Smart."
"Yeah, that's about the size of it." Rose giggled. "C'mon we've gotta get outta here before anyone notices they're missing."
