Summary:

Nishikino Maki closes out the saga of the reset diaries and

leaves them and her notes in the hands of Yazawa Cocoro.

I, Nishikino Maki, of course, have a damned good idea how my beloved found her way into that pile of bodies. She must not have been breathing very strongly. They thought they'd killed her, and look, a pile of bodies. Why are you moving that one? One of us thought she was a relative! And all wearing face masks, I'd bet. So they looked like a life-saver, not a killer.

But I cannot deal with this any more.

Nico and I have worked out a new relationship. She's working out a new life, and I need to reintegrate into my own. I am going to push Nico to graduate with me. She still looks very young.

Meanwhile, Nico's sister Cocoro is on fire with anger and indignation. She's also an excellent writer, or so Nico says. She agreed with me we'd donate both versions of our diary to her, along with all the notes I made, and she can carry on my crusade for the truth.

I may be a wealthy family kid, but I don't have all that much disposable income, and now that I've gotten an idea of what happened, I need to use my reserves to help Nico. I would feel bad asking for help nailing the Talent Star Ball bastard to the wall.

A huge train disaster like that one - to have someone take such advantage of it ... he'll be the most wanted criminal in Japan if he's not gone, or if he is gone, if he tries to return. Cocoro can probably make his name synonymous with evil. The real benefit will be to the future Nicos, that they can speak up for themselves and not be destroyed.

In my months taking care of Nico, I've gotten a much stronger idea of what it is to really love someone, to be their partner, in sickness and in health.
