"AAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Jim yelled, as he fell face first onto the ground. The spy helped him up and they looked around for any sign of the wave.

"Up there!"

He looked at where they were pointing and his jaw dropped. It was a crack, similar to one you can see on a glass window when a rock flies through it, floating just a bit above the ground. It was like someone threw a giant rock into reality itself and made a hole. Little rock golems were jumping out of the hole and all rolling in the same direction, with a giant boulder following them from behind.

Jim's eyes widened as he realized where the monsters were rolling.

"They're going to that village! Mad Dash!" he yelled, dashing towards the village in hopes of cutting off the monsters. He swapped back to his strongest hammer and as soon as he was close to the stampede, he jumped into the air and used his strongest skill.

"Mjollnir!" Jim yelled, bashing the biggest golem on the head. The monster didn't even seem to notice the attack, as Jim bounced off, leaving nothing more than a small crack.

Damn it! I'm only level 11, I'm no match for the boss yet. Guess I should power up by killing a few minions.

Jim jumped back and hit one of the smaller guys, knocking them down. The little golem unrolled itself and looked around for its attacker.

"Over here!" Jim yelled, hitting the guy again. A tiny chunk of stone fell off of its face as it glared at Jim. A few sparks flew from his hammer, but they all bounced off of the golems' cold stone skin.

Looks like Paralyzing thunder doesn't work on golems. Or maybe they are too high of a level like Carliten.

Just as the enraged golem raised its arm to attack, several daggers flew into its eye and arm joints, cracking the golem's body. It roared in pain and began to swing around its stone clubs, trying to kill whoever attacked it.

"Fast Power, Mad Dash, Mjollnir!" Jim buffed himself and threw his best skills at the golem, destroying a large chunk of its head. It swung its fist around and tried to crush Jim, but he got out of the way at the last second.

The shadow jumped onto the golem's head and began to tear its head to shreds. Jim bashed its knee, forcing it to kneel down, and the shadow finished it off with a dagger through the head.

[Leveled up]

Jim smiled as he received several level up messages.

Hell yeah! The wave minions give so much more exp than some mushrooms! Just that golem alone got me to level 16!

"Stop standing still and let's go!" the shadow yelled, jabbing him in the ribs. Then they buffed them both with Advanced Power and ran towards the golems.

Ok, I'm still underleveled. That jab actually hurt.

Jim absorbed the golem body and ran after the shadow, who was already chopping up another one.

"Tanks! Move to the front! Archers, mages, and support stay in the back! Earth mages, make us a barricade!"

Jim heard the soldier at the village barking orders to everyone around him, as he shattered the golems that got in his way with ease.

If I could get him in the same party, I could level up a ton.

Jim shattered the golem he was fighting with a Mjollnir and used his rope hammer to swing over to the knight.

"Hey! Party up with me!" Jim yelled, landing on top of one of the golems.

"Huh? Who are you?" he looked at Jim with a puzzled look, destroying another golem with his sword. Jim grabbed one of the golems and repeatedly bashed it with his hammer until it died. The more golems he killed, the easier it was to deal with each one.

A new weapon unlock popped up as he reached level 20.

Stone Golem Hammer N

Abilities Unmastered: "Erst Bash"

Special Effect: +3 Defense

[O]

"Nice," he muttered, equipping the new hammer. The hammer of the wave minions was only a bit weaker than his upgraded wave boss hammer, but it provided him with a new skill as well as a bit more protection.

Come to think of it, I still have my home clothes on me since I put them on before I left for the hourglass. I really need to think about getting some armor.

"Th-the Crafter Hero?!" the knight yelled.

"The Crafter Hero?"

"Did I hear that right?"

"The Crafter Hero has arrived to save us!"

The villagers began to cheer and push forward, and Jim felt several boosts get applied to his other stats. He also got a party request from the knight before him.

"I'm sorry I didn't recognize you, Crafter Hero. Let me assist you in fighting this wave," he said. Jim nodded and turned towards the monsters.

He transformed the golem parts in his hammer into energy and upgraded the quality as much as his luck would allow

[Quality increase to Great successful]

"Good enough," he muttered and slammed his hammer into the nearest golem. "Mjollnir!"

The stat difference was extremely noticeable as Jim was doing quite a bit more damage now, allowing him to kill the golems faster.

He saw level up notifications pour in as him and the knight continued to slay the monsters. The shadow spy was also destroying any golems that approached the barricade too quickly. Just as Jim felt like things were going great, the ground began to rumble.

Jim looked up only to be faced with a huge towering mountain.

[Interdimensional Mutant Golem]

Huh. He looks a lot bigger here than in Leodine Onl-

Jim's train of thought was interrupted by the golems heavy hand swatting him away.

"Crafter hero! Everyone, focus your attacks on the boss monster! And those with healing, focus on the hero!" the knight yelled, pushing forward with his shield it seemed like the smaller golem attacks didn't have any effect on him. However, the large golem swatted him away in a similar fashion to Jim.

Speaking of Jim, he got up from the ground and shook off the dirt on his clothes. While the attack definitely hurt, he didn't seem to break anything. In a moment he felt the pain disappear completely as the people sent heals his way.

"Alright rockhead, round 2. Mad Dash!" Jim dashed towards the golem and bashed him with his hammer, knocking him back. The golem looked shocked as his body cracked. He swung at Jim again, but the man jumped out of the way and countered with a Mjollnir, sending more cracks down the golems body.

The golem jumped back and curled up into a ball. A light purple glow surrounded its body. Jim was about to jump out of the way again, when his eyes widened in realization.

Shoot! The village is behind me! If I dodge, he'll flatten the villagers! And both skills are on cooldown!

The golem began to roll forward as Jim raised his hammer to counter.

Alright new skill, don't let me down.

"Erst Bash!" Jim yelled, swinging his hammer at the boss with all of his might. The hammer began to glow a bright red as it slammed into the heavy stone body of the golem.

However, it wasn't enough to stop the golem in his tracks. The boss monster crashed into Jim, sending him flying into the distance. It continued to roll until it crashed into the barricade, shattering a part of the wall blocking the golems from the village.

"Set up another barricade!"

"We're trying, but we're out of mana!"

"Shoot! That *cough* one actually hurt," Jim muttered, rubbing his side.

The boss didn't escape the collision unscathed either. Jim saw the guy with most of his body covered in cracks. But Jim's smile faded when the golem boss grabbed one of the smaller golems and ate him.

Golem cannibalism?! Did I miss an update or something? When was this added?

The cracks on the golem began to disappear, and a purple glow surrounded it. The monster got up and turned to Jim, ignoring the villagers. Little golems began to pile through the hole in the earth walls of the village and attack the people.

Jim cast healing magic on himself and began to slowly approach the boss whilst raising his hammer. The boss curled into a ball again and began to quickly roll towards him.

"Mjol-!"

"Lunar Strike!" a voice called out from somewhere above Jim. Without warning a huge pale blue crescent dropped on top of the boss, demolishing it. A large chunk landed next to Jim and his hammer gobbled it up, unlocking a new hammer.

"Wha…?" was all Jim could say, still in shock from how strong the attack was. A man landed on top of the boss' remains and looked at Jim. He had a large hoe in his hand with a gem, similar to his own, embedded in the handle.

The man picked up a fragment of the boss and absorbed it into his hoe's gem. He then turned back to Jim and raised his hoe onto his shoulder.

"Where is he?" he asked, a menacing aura enveloping everything around him.
