The group headed back to the Toad Towers and started to figure out their puzzle. It didn't take long for all four Toad eyes to line up at the small altar. It had made a spell circle appear.

Mario raised a brow, "Looks like it's the ground spell circle."

The professor stated, "The writing says: When darkness looms, the sand entombs the Temple of Shrooms."

Luigi asked, "Does that mean we have to wait for nightfall?"

Violet answered, "I guess but the sun isn't coming out right now, it's been dark since we've got here."

Olivia frowned, "Good point. Or maybe we should go ahead and activate the spell circle?"

Mario admitted, "That's a good idea, Olivia. You're up, Weegie."

Luigi stated, "Right, Malleo."

With that, he folded into the Earth Vellumental. He roared as the ground raised up, revealing the Temple of Shrooms.

The professor gushed, "It worked! Great job, son!"

Luigi folded back to his usual form and blushed modestly.

Violet asked, "How did it end up in the sand?"

Olivia answered, "Not sure but we can go in now and destroy the yellow streamer!"

With that, they entered the temple and started to look around.

The professor stated, "This place may be the final resting place of the ancient King Shroomses!"

Mario blinked, "King Shroomses?"

Olivia giggled, "This is exciting!"

Luigi stated, "Sure is, let's look around."

Violet teased, "Aye, aye Captain Weegie."

To that, Luigi blushed again. They had learned from the professor that when the temple was built, it was built with a few security measures.

Mario breathed, "So that's why it was in the sand!"

Luigi admitted, "Makes sense."

The professor stated, "We better keep our eyes open. There is definitely traps in here."

Violet replied, "Don't have to worry about that."

Olivia responded, "Agreed."

After they figured out the puzzles in the temple, they went in further. They saw a scary shadow up ahead and the lights were dim.

The professor was frightened, "Okay, now tell me you saw that."

Mario activated his Firebrand, "Whatever it is, we can't let them know they we are scared."

Luigi corrected, "N - not scared, terrified!"

Violet added, "Yeah, there's a big difference!"

Olivia shivered, "I don't like this!"

Mario decided to go up in front. Everyone stayed behind him and they were all scared. They got to a room with two big mushroom heads. The doors closed and out of the two big mushroom heads came two huge origami goombas, wrapped in paper.

The professor shouted, "AH!"

Mario started to fight them, "These guys aren't my mummy!"

Luigi activated his Thunderhand, "N - not funny!"

Violet activated her Aurora Nine, "I guess they will be all tied up in a minute!"

Olivia groaned, "That was bad, Violet!"

Violet smiled as they took out them and the doors opened back open again.

The professor breathed a sigh of relief, "Oh thank goodness."

Mario asked, "Is everyone okay?"

Luigi admitted, "C - covered with confetti but I'm good."

Violet replied, "Same here."

Olivia responded, "Oh man that was spooky! But let's get moving!"

They kept going forward, Mario still in the lead. They had found a Toad in distress by a lot of spiders. The Toad was upside down, face first into the ground. Mario made quick work on the spiders. Mario pulled out the Toad from the ground, making everyone scream in horror.

Mario didn't notice at first, "What is it, Weegie?" That's when he saw that the Toad's face was completely gone! He screamed, "AH!" He was scared too but quickly noticed that everyone was looking at him, "Uh, I mean... Look the Toad's face is gone!"

Luigi went over to his brother and placed his hand on his shoulder, "It's okay to admit you're scared too, Malleo."

Mario looked at Luigi, "I am scared. I was scared. Not just here...but when you were facing King Boo because of me."

Luigi started to say, "Mario..."

Mario stated, "I know I told you that they were torturing me but...I was also torturing myself. I felt so responsible because of my recklessness, you and Violet had to come to my rescue. I felt like an awful brother. Not just because I ran ahead but because of what happened with the Isle Defino fiasco. If I hadn't been so selfish..."

That's when Mario looked down, his hat covering his eyes. Luigi held him close, allowing his brother to cry on him. Mario sobbed.

Luigi replied, "Oh Mario... But you don't realize that it hadn't been for you, I would've never met Violet. I wouldn't been able to save her. And because of her, I was able to stand up to my worse fear. Because of her, we are closer than ever before. If we weren't, I'd probably be looking for the key to Princess Peach's castle."

To that, the red clad plumber laughed. It was a good thing that he carried a key to the castle with him.

Mario replied, "Thanks fratello."

Luigi modestly responded, "It's Violet whom you should be thanking."

Mario turned to his best friend, "Grazti."

Violet responded, "Anytime." She turned back to the professor and Olivia, "But what are we going to do about this faceless Toad?"

Olivia shivered, "N - not sure..."

The professor stammered, "T - there must be something here that caused that to happen. B - but what?"

They went in further, finding more faceless Toads in a giant spider web.

Mario commented, "That isn't good."

Violet shivered, "I'm feeling chilled and not from my powers."

Luigi stammered, "H - how is this happening?"

The professor admitted, "N - not sure, son."

Olivia stated, "Yeah but how are we help them?"

Everyone shrugged, they weren't sure either. Suddenly, they had found a disco room.

The professor was shocked, "A disco room?!"

Mario pointed to the streamer, "And the streamer!"

Olivia breathed, "We found it!"

Luigi asked, "But how do we get in there?"

Violet admitted, "not sure but let's look around."

That's what the group, as the song that Mario and L sang earlier rang in the man in red ears. He thought, 'It just isn't fair. But there's isn't anything I can do about it... How in the world did we even do that...? Does Luigi have a special power so we can get into the dream world...?'
