It was the middle of the night. Faline and Bambi were both fast asleep, right next to each other in the den. Little did the both of them know, Athena and Robbie were sneaking past them. They went through the hall outside of the den. Before they headed out the door, Robbie stopped suddenly and nudged Athena.
"Are you sure you want to do this?",asked Robbie.
"Robbie, we don't have a choice. We know Dad doesn't want us too.",said Athena.
Robbie was silent for a minute as he looked over at Bambi and Faline. They were still asleep. Robbie looked over at Athena. who was looking directly at him in silence.That is when Robbie nodded his head over towards his sister agreeing to what she said. It wasn't until Athena turned away from him and led him out of the den that Robbie knew for sure it was happening. Bambi's children left the den completely without waking up either one of their parents.
