Chapter 21
As soon as Brandon unlocked the front door, everyone literally fell into Walsh´s livingroom. Kelly, David and the kids. What a weekend. The kids quickly went to their rooms and Brandon, David and Kelly looked at each other. Valerie preferred to drive back to the hotel alone.
„Are you all right?" Kelly looked to her brother.
„So far yes." David breathed out. „I just want to get my stuff out of the house and then leave it all behind."
„Have you already thought about how things will continue with you and Valerie? I mean, she lives in New York."
„I know Kel and Yes, I´ve thought about it. I´m taking Ruby to Valerie´s in New York. Apparently Beverly Hills didn´t bring me any luck. And I´m going to marry Valerie."
Kelly nodded. Somehow she already knew it. „I will miss you David."
„Me too Kelly."
„Shall we get some things from your house then?" Kelly asked cautiously.
„Yeah, let´s get this over with."
Apparently Donna had been very quick. Maybe her assistant too. Donna had already taken everything that was hers. David was packing a few things when the doorbell rang.
A few seconds later he felt Jackie´s arms around his neck.
„David, are you alright?" Jackie looked with concern at her stepson.
„Yeah Jackie. Better than ever. I feel relieved."
Than he looked at his father.
„I had a phone call with Felice." Mel told. „She yelled at me how I could raise my son to commit adultery. But that would probably be in his genes."
„Felice should have taught her daughter how to show love and feelings. Because she totally failed." Jackie stood by David.
Mel grabbed David´s arms. „David, if you can tell me to my face now that you´re happy with Valerie, I won´t stand in the way of your happiness. I only want what is best for you."
David looked at his father. He had tears in his eyes from emotion.
„Dad, I´m happy with Valerie. She gives me everything I need."
Proud and relieved, Mel took David in his arms."
„That means you´ll be moving to New York then." Jackie looked sadly at David.
„Yes. So I would be very grateful to you if you could hel me move. I´ll wait two more months until summer vacation so Ruby can finish school."
Kelly looked at her brother too. And without a word they hugged each other. They began to cry.
„Hey come." David try to laugh under his tears. „You get free vacations on the east coast. 5th Avenue."
But Kelly cried again.
„Did Donna leave a note or something? A letter?" Jackie looked around.
David looked around too. But he didn´t discovered anything. „Nothing. I´m sure I´ll be hearing from her attorney what she´s asking for soon." He shrugged. „I shouldn´t care. I just want out of this marriage."
Brenda cleaned the kitchenboard and sang. She still thought on Erica and Erin and their coming-out. So far, Erica hadn´t contacted them. Sooner or later, Erica would want to talk to her brother about it.
The doorbell rang.
„That was quick." Brenda laughed and opened the door.
But instead of Erica, Val was on her doorstep.
„Val. What a surprise!" She hugged Val.
„Did you think I´d go back without saying goodbye to you?"
„Come in."
Valerie sat a mimosa on the kitchen counter.
„OK, alcohol before 10 a.m….what´s going on?"
Valerie smiled about to tell her about her morning. „Wait…where´s Dylan?" She looked around.
Brenda sipped her coffee and shrugged. „He´s lying under his porsche."
„He should better be lying under you now." Valerie laughed out loud.
Brenda blushed bright red making Valerie eyebrows raise.
„Oh my god. You guys had already morning sex."
Brenda pursed her lips together looking towards the front door before meeting Valerie´s eyes.
„And?"
„It was very nice." Brenda only grinned and her face grew a shade pinker.
„Shut up!" Valeries hand came down on the counter with a slap as Brenda giggled. „Tell me everything. Where, how, how long?" Valerie grabbed her mimosa and took a sip waiting for details.
„Oh no…you got nothing." Brenda took a sip of coffee and made a face and her eyes met Valerie´s mimosa. „Fuck it." She went over, opening the cupboard, grabbing another flute and poured herself a glass. „And now it´s your turn."
„Well, David and I had a big talk. He and Ruby will come with me to New York."
„Are you sure? With Ruby?"
„Yes Brenda. I love David and I love Ruby. She´s such a cute little girl. I´ll be the mother for her she never had. Which I never had."
„I´m happy for you Val."
„Thanks Bren." She smiled to Brenda and lifted her glass. „To us and great sex this morning." Valerie smiled wide.
Brenda smiled and clinked her glass to hers.
At his moment Dylan appeared in the kitchen. Val turned around and raised her eyebrows. Dylan was halfnaked, on his body was oil and he cleaned his hands on a towel on his jeans.
„Oh,we have a guest?" He looked surprised at the ladies.
„Hi Dylan." Valerie smiled big at Dylan. „Do you want to get Brenda for a round two?"
Dylan looked at Brenda who blushed again. He grinned too and took a bottle of water out of the fridge.
„Sure. We only waiting till you are away." Dylan took Brenda´s backhead, turned it to him and pressed his lips on hers.
Immediately Val saw their tongues. Valerie didn´t disturb them, watch them very amused and drank her champagner.
„Sorry." Brenda went away from Dylan and took a sip too for cooling. Dylan plented a kiss on her cheek and grinned.
„You guys are so cute."
The doorbell rang again and a little later David, Brandon and Kelly appeared.
„David!" Valerie yelled, throwing her arms around his neck. „Have you done everything?"
„Yes." David kissed her. „Mel and Jackie will do the rest."
Brandon noticed Dylan´s outfit. „Hey D. Cool dress."
„Yes, I´m done with my porsche. Would you join me for a drive? Then the ladies can chat and have a drink."
Brandon and David spotted the champagner bottle.
„Deal Dylan." David gave Valerie a kiss and the guys disappeared into the garage.
Meanwhile Brenda got another glass for Kelly.
„Well Valerie, now that you and David are getting serious, I´d like to finally make peace with you."
„Kelly, I´ve never had anything against you personally. Only against your past."
Kelly looked down briefly.
„Peace Val."
„Peace Kel."
They clinked their glasses and Brenda opened her mouth to toast her long time friend, then there was pounding on the front door.
„What the hell?" the three looked towards the front door.
Brenda walked over to it and opened it as the knocking became annoying.
Donna pushed her way in.
„Where is that home wrecking slut? I know she´s here. Come out bitch!"
Brenda got in front of Donna. Holding her back gently.
„Come on Donna. You deserved this." Valerie yelled loudly.
„Calm down." Even Kelly tried to held Donna back.
„NO." Donna yelled louder too. „And YOU…don´t even talk to me." Donna pointed at Brenda and pushed past her.
„Donna, what the hell…" Began Kelly but she had no chance.
„I knew I could only find you here. You two brunette man stealers. You stick together."
„Your calling me a home wrecker? Donna please stop the good girl act." Valerie wasn´t afraid as she stood in the doorway from the kitchen, hands on her hips. „You´re mixed me with your best friend Kelly and everyone knows it."
Donna pointed to her. „You slept with my husband. And…" she pointed to Brenda, „She took Dylan away from Dylan."
„Donna, enough!" Kelly yelled at her.
„And you only wanted David because I wanted him. You never cared about him."
Donna was breathing hard. „He´s my husband Valerie!" Donna´s lip quivered. „This isn´t college…this is my life!" Donna screamed.
„Have you ever yelled at Kelly like that when she started flirting with Dylan?" Valerie looked provocated to Donna.
Taking a deep breath, Kelly knowing that wasn´t a good excuse as she took a step back and watched the drama.
„Valerie…you always wanted to stand between David and me…you told him the first time not to marry me, for god´s sake. I don´t even know why I´m so surprised! That´s what you do. You love to hurt people…you always hated me. I was just a fool tot hink the whole thing was behind us. You´ll never change…once a slut always a slut…Valerie…You´re jealous that David loved me, jealous that he and I have a kid together…you are pathetic and alone…and one day when you´re old and grey you´ll die!" Donna yelled proudly to get rid of it all.
Brenda swallowed hard. That was Valerie´s vulnerable spot. Her greatest fear.
Valerie laughed, but that didn´t give her the satisfaction, even though her words hurt deeply.
„I´m pathetic and alone, Donna? What do you have but a kid to take care of David…not you! David couldn´t stay away from me. He´s the one who called me after California University…he´s the one who told me how amazing I was and how good it was." She stepped forward. „I´m sorry you marriage didn´t work out, but David is your husband. Not a worker…I´m sorry you found out that way." She feigned sincerity. „It must have hurt a lot to know that David didn´t let me down. I mean ouch! Ghosted…of your own husband."
Brenda shook her head and pinched the bridge of her nose. Crap. Ok, she got them back.
Donna took two deep breaths and charged at them. She grabbed them as they both fell to the ground.
„Jesus, Donna…" Kelly said loudly as she tried to intercept. „Ok,Ok.." She got no further.
When Valerie withdrew her hand and slapped Donna´s side, she slapped her in her face.
„You´re such a slut!" Donna yelled and grabbed Valeries hair.
„Oh come on Donna…I should have kicked your ass a long time ago." Valerie eyed on her. „You know what? I should have fucked David a long time ago too."
Kelly and Brenda tried to pull back both ladies by their arms. They were too wild…too strong…too pissed off.
„My god." And suddenly both girls screamed when she felt in this fight too, finding themself on the floor, trying to break the women out of breath.
„I will kick both of your brunette sluts in your ass." Donna was too angy.
Brenda tried to stand against Donna but Donna was too strong.
And even Kelly tried to pull Donna away but she had no chance.
„Kelly, let it. That bitch fucked my husband. And Brenda took your true love from you."
„Donna, you talk bullshit." Kelly let a thrust to Donna to got her back from herself.
„Oh, suddenly you´re against me too?" That made Donna even more angrier.
Brenda thought she heard wrong. She slapped on Donna and now it was a four-way-fight.
Dylan laughed loud when the men came back after their tour.
„Guys, let me changed the outfit and we´ll meet Steve at the court. It will take two minutes. Tell him we´re on the way."
He opened the door, then his face felt. There in the livingroom Brenda, Kelly, Donna and Valerie were in a full catfight.
„What the hell is going on?" Brandon yelled loudly.
All three guys moved quickly. Both of Dylan´s arms wrapped around Brenda, picking her up. Brandon wrapped his arms around Kelly. David picked up Valerie kicking and screaming. All the guys held her wifes around their waist as their legs flailed around. Only Donna sat alone on the ground and breathed heavily.
„Calm down Val." David spoke quietly, soothing.
Valerie stopped flailing as he sat her down and backed her towards the kitchen.
Brandon´s face went into Kelly´s neck as he held her against him. „Stop…deep breath." He tried to calm her.
Dylan eyed Brenda. She had already what looked like a black eye appearing under her eye.
Silence filled the house as the girls tried to catch their breaths. Dylan moved away from Brenda and walked in the middle of he room.
„So Ladies. What the hell is going on?" He yelled.
No woman said anything.
David eyed Donna. He knew exactly she had the most to told. And he got right. She opened her mouth and then came tears to her eyes too.
„That is all your fault!"
„Are you serious? Why is that here my fault?"
„You fucked with that slut." She pointed to Valerie. Suddenly she stood up aganin and came to Valerie. But Brandon used his body and pulled her strong back.
„Sit down ladies. No one will move." Dylan pointed of the big sofa.
Brenda swallowed hard. She hadn´t seen Dylan this way before.
Brenda sat left of the sofa, next to her Valerie, Kelly and then Donna on the right side. They looked to each other. Brenda had a black eye, Kelly a fat lip and her sweater was ripped, Valeries lip even bleeding a little and her knees hurts and Donnas body had scars.
„You are so crazy." Brandon shook with his head. „You are grown women. You have kids. What do you thought?"
„I wanted only protected me." Kelly tried to protected herself.
„And you Brenda?" Dylans look was sharp to Brenda.
„The same. I tried to separate Val and Donna."
„How did this even start?" David asked as he shook his head.
„We only wanted drinking. Suddenly it knocked on the door and Donna hurried in the room. She was screaming. She called me a slut."
David looked to his wife. „Donna, that isn´t you. Why did you do this?"
Donna looked angry at him and at Valerie. „Nobody took anything away from me without consequenses."
„Donna, I´m not your property."
„David, did you serious thought I´ll let you go without anything? I´ll make you break down. I´ll take your money, all your property, everything. You´ll have nothing. You´re nothing."
„It´s funny. You never showed interest in what I did. And suddenly you´ll take it away from me." He laughed. „I thought you were glad you are away from me."
„I only want to hurt you." Donna looked at him with a weird smiling.
„Unfortunately I have to disappoint you, Donna. You can´t hurt me more. Donna, I feel only sorry for you."
„You became such a monster David Silver."
„Well Donna. You made me to this." David shrugged only.
„I think it´s better for you to go, Donna." Dylan looked seriously at her. „Nobody want you to be here."
Donna nodded and stood up.
„Then get happy with your slut." Donna wanted to go.
„Wait!" Brenda yelled at her.
„What?" Donna turned around.
And suddenly Brenda hit her in the face with all her might.
„This is for you called me a slut too."
Suddenly Dylans face was angry. „Donna called you a slut?"
„Yes." She looked angry too. „She was the opinion I took you away from Kelly."
„That´s right Dylan." Donna looked at Dylan like she was insane.
„GET OUT OF MY HOUSE!" Dylan screamed so loud he could.
And with a still insane smile Donna left the house and slammed the door behind her.
