Original Title: Never Underestimate The Force
(The countdown to the first multi part set of chapters begins now!)
6th Week of Training
5 days till the weekend..
"It's a good thing I'm waterproof, sir."
It may have been raining hard, but that wasn't really stopping Cameron and Abyss at the moment, as the two were jogging through the woods back to camp, after Cameron had managed to ditch Elizabeth, Arnett, and Dolly - who for some reason had all decided to be sleeping next or on top of him. And managing to sneak out of the tent, much to their annoyance when they found out, with three lovely women sleeping next to and on you, even with the force, is no mean feat. Because somehow, he did it and now with Abyss after a couple hours of jogging, was heading back to camp and wondering how in the hell he was going to explain himself to three women who probably didn't take kindly to him running off like that.
But all of that was flung out the window two seconds later as they got within sight of camp on that forested road above. Even though Abyss was a droid, both of them sensed something was wrong in the immediate vicinity and both of them looked up. And even as a loud rumbling sound began which would wake everybody up, both droid and human knew what they were seeing. The beginning of a landslide.
Instinctively, both of them stopped in their tracks, and leaped back, avoiding the landslide as it carved a path down the mountainside, obliterating the section of pathway the two had once been on, but now they were standing closer to the new ledge than they should have, something neither of them noticed.
"God that was close. Sure hope Arnett, Elizabeth, Dolly and the others are okay" Cameron said, looking down. Abyss looked up again, and what he said made the Commando Droid, for once in his programmed existence, panic.
"Sir, we have bigger issues over our heads right now!" he screamed, causing Cameron to look up and see a massive wave of water coming down towards them. Cameron instantly knew what was at stake now. Not only the lives of both of them, but the lives of everyone in camp down below and in the nearby residential area. Anyone else would have panicked in this type of desperate situation, where a few seconds could mean life or death. But in the case of Cameron and Abyss, they weren't the type to do that. These two had been trained for anything or everything, and both of them had no intention of letting more death and destruction, not on their watch. But their situation got a little more complicated when the ledge, due to the continued heavy rain, gave way beneath both of them.
He could hear Arnett, Elizabeth, and Dolly screaming his name - clearly, they had now noticed him falling down the mountainside, the massive wall of water getting closer to him and Abyss - but Cameron refused to panic. If anything, he felt himself being taken over by something he had never felt before, a more in-tuned and in-depth sense that he hadn't felt before, and he can feel his stigmata corroding on his back for some reason, even though the boy was feeling perfectly fine and in full control of himself. But something else seemed to take control of him, as he knew - in mere instances falling down that mountain - of what he had to do.
He reached out with one hand at Abyss, using the force to push him clear out of the way while he aimed another force push at the carved out cut created at the landslide, which bounced off the cut and back at him, giving him enough of a shove to be able to flip a couple of times back onto his own two feet, landing upright on top of the log held by Instructor Merith.
"Put the log down!" he shouted.
"Are you fucking crazy?!" Merith shouted back at him.
"Just do it! I'll use the force on the water! You have to trust me!" he replied.
Merith was shocked, but did as she was asked to do. Cameron held out his hand and tapped into the force, holding the water back - and not just from coming down any further, from even moving at all. That's when every Pandora trainee there, including the instructors, saw the back of his shirt rip open, exposing the corroding stigmata on his back and several nova spikes poking through and out of his skin, and the blue rings and lines coming out and running down his body like those of a limiter. Then, he held up his other hand, and pushed..
And literally caused all that water being held in the air to turn into ice right in front of everyone.
"W-Wha..? W-What the h-hell j-just happened?"
"Did his stigmata both temporarily go into Nova Form and then he put down a Freezing that froze all that water? There's no way!"
"Unbelievable!"
Cameron didn't pay them any attention as he lowered the massively long and tall sheet of ice down gently with the force, before he did the limiter rings and made the massive sheet of ice disappear, again in front of everyone, before the spikes receded, his stigmata stopped corroding, and Cameron just turned around, got off the log, and sat down against it as the rain storm stopped and the sun began to shine, the boy completely exhausted.
Elizabeth, Arnett, and Dolly felt more of a mixture of emotions right now over Cameron. They were glad that he was okay, yet what he had done had left the three of them - and everyone else who saw it, including Abyss, wondering just how powerful Cameron really was. After all, he had Nova spikes - signifying he was going into Nova form - on his fucking back, yet he still saved all of them and the spikes receded afterwards, something that - even for something as rare as him - had never been seen before. Either way, the three of them felt more connected to the boy more than before. Which is why the three of them then start arguing over which of them would help the boy back into their tent.
Abyss just walked over to Park, who looked upon the scene a little bit amused. "Are they fighting due to what I think they're fighting because of..?" the instructor asked the Commando Droid. Abyss couldn't really tell, he simply just shrugged. "Maybe, though for someone who never really knew how to handle girls his age, I'd say if it is, it is an impressive achievement for the Commander" the Commando Droid responded as all three girls ended up helping Cameron together back to their tent, where they all fell asleep once again next to or on him, something that deep down inside, a few other trainees started to feel jealous about, and they didn't know why.
Either way, one thing was for sure - Cameron Spears was powerful for someone was both a Pandora and a Limiter at the same time. And pretty soon, even more confirmation of this - and additional powers - would come out.
