Chapter 19
( Konoha, Night time)
It was now dinner time at the Namikaze estate. As Itachi including Anko cooked dinner as Everyone was seated in their chairs around the table. Lucy sitting besides Naruto with Haku sitting besides him eating her plate. Tsunade and Shizune would be eating together, as were Anko, Yugao and Itachi.
"So how was everyone's day today?" Asked Tsunade eating some rice with chopsticks out of her bowl.
"It was okay, I ran into a friend of mine today. It seems she missed me." Itachi would answer bringing up his friend and crush Izumi with Lucy looking his way as she drank some green tea.
"I see. Who is this friend?" Lucy asked as she is fully aware that the Uchiha clan considers Itachi a threat to them now and a traitor. Although not all the Uchiha clan hate Itachi now. Mikoto loves her son, if things do get out of hand she could offer the Uchiha woman asylum in wave just like she offered Ayame and Teuchi.
"Izumi Uchiha." Itachi answered.
"From what I remember. You have a crush on her do you Itachi?" Yugao asked with the Uchiha male looking away slightly with a blush on his face.
"I was wondering Lucy-sama. That should the Uchiha try to go drastic, is it possible for Izumi to be granted-" Itachi says to his leader who cut him off.
"Of course Itachi. If she wishes to join you and us best tell her to be prepared because we will leave this village once the Chunin exams are over." Lucy says as he nodded.
"Me and Shizune had already cleaned the Senju estate. Taking everything with me. Think it's possible we should take the forbidden scroll too?" Tsunade would ask Lucy as she explained that the forbidden scroll belonged to Tobirama Senju.
"I think you should Tsunade-San since it is yours." Yugao would answer taking a bite out of her bowl
"What about you and Hayate? Have you seen him yet Yugao?" Anko asks eating some Dango as the woman sighed.
"Not yet. I have not been able to see him." Yugao admits drinking some of her green tea.
"A chance that he might participate in the Chunin exams as the proctor, you might be able to meet him." Anko would say with the woman nodding.
"Mother..." Naruto says with Lucy looking down at her son.
"Yes, Naruto." She looks at him.
"You know that girl I saw.. today.. Hinata..." Naruto spoke up.
"Ah. So you met Hiashi's first born daughter. How she's doing?" Tsunade would say.
"I met her today but there was another just like her he was an adult and stood in my sight of her, as if he wasn't letting me see her." Naruto said with a look of anger on his face, Lucy noticed this and calmed her son down.
"Do not worry my son. We will find a way for you to talk to this Hinata. She seems like a nice girl." Lucy stated headpatting Naruto rubbing his red hair and horns.
"How so with that man guarding her?" Naruto questioned as Tsunade narrowed her eyes.
"Something tells me Hiashi doesn't want his daughter around Naruto." She says with a glare looking at Lucy who acknowledged that.
"Yes. I'm quite aware of that." Lucy says eating some rice.
"We will figure something out." Lucy says with everyone nodding as everyone finished eating their dinner and would put their dishes in the sink. Shizune will wash the dishes while everyone gets settled for bed.
( The Next day)
It was the next day here in Konoha, as Lucy along with Naruto, Haku and Yugao are wandering in the village. As Naruto wanted him a pet. Lucy suggested getting a dog here and Yugao told them the perfect place to get a dog. As they were en route to the Inuzuka Clan home or perhaps the vet. To get a puppy to adopt.
As they made it to the Inuzuka clan home.
Tsume Inuzuka and Hana Inuzuka were present, kiba was currently out with his team. The boy got punished when his sensei told his mother about their meeting with The Daimyo of wave including her son in which Kiba insulted naruto and the boy got an earful from his mother scolding him and grounding him for a week.
"Welcome to our Clan home Lucy-sama." Tsume would greet with Hana besides her looking at the daimyo of wave.
"Thanks." Lucy replied
"I deeply apologize for how my son acted the other day. I promise it won't happen again." Tsume would say.
"None taken. Just make sure that your son stays on a tight leash." Lucy replied with Tsume and Hana nodding.
"What brings you here to our clan home? Hi Naruto." Tsume would say as she watched the boy wave his hand at her. She could see Kushina in the boy.
"We are here to get my son a dog and Yugao tells me this place has dogs here." Lucy replied back
"Come. We will show you our new puppy's in our kennels." Tsume would say leading the three into the kennel area. Where there would be multiple cages of dogs. Tsume's own dog perked it's head up as he noticed the wave Daimyo his master told him about.
"We have a nice selection of hound dogs for you Naruto-kun. Take your pick." Tsume would say to the boy as he would go browse for any puppy or dog to have as his pet.
The Uzumaki boy is currently browsing looking from one puppy from the next, including the adult dogs. Seeing lots of puppies hover over their moms and such. He did spot one puppy that seems isolated. The puppy was White and gray colored, tail was dark colored. Red eyes as it's gaze turned towards Naruto.
Naruto eyed the puppy as their eyes met each other.
"Hello." The puppy spoke in a feminine voice. It sounded like a girl. Which surprised Naruto that the puppy can talk.
"You can talk?" Naruto asks.
"Well my mouth is moving is it? Yeah, I am talking. You don't smell human. What are you?" The Puppy asked raising its brow.
"What am I? A Diclonius. Like my adoptive mother." Naruto answered with the puppy tilting its head.
"Never heard of your kind before. What's your name?" She asks facing him.
"Naruto, Naruto Namikaze Uzumaki. Yours?" Naruto asks the puppy.
"Loona. Loona is my name." Loona introduced
"Can all the other dogs talk?" Naruto asks as she shook her head.
"You see that dog that's standing with the head of the Inuzuka Clan, his name is Kuromaru. He is the only dog here that can speak human language. All the other dogs here in the Inuzuka clan can't speak but me and him." Loona says with Naruto raising a brow at this.
"How come no one has adopted you?" Naruto asks her as she sighed.
"I'm different than the other Inuzuka hounds. I distance myself from other hounds and pups, I'm the only one out of the litter that can talk. Guess you can say I'm like the runt of the litter." Loona answered since she is the second dog in the Inuzuka clan that can talk. Aside from Kuromaru.
"May I adopt you Loona?" Naruto asks with her looking up at him wagging her tail lightly.
"You would adopt me?" She asks seeing him nod.
"Of course. I feel like we both are somewhat different from everyone else." Naruto answered as he raised his hands out to her as she got in his arms and licked his face.
"Well take me home." Loona says up to her potential master
Naruto would return with loona in his arms as Lucy, Tsume along with Hana were surprised that Naruto picked Loona. Even Kuromaru was surprised.
"Found you a puppy son? She's adorable." Lucy says smiling at Loona.
"Her name is loona. I'm taking her." Naruto says
"A pleasure meeting you Mother of Naruto." Loona spoke facing the Diclonius Queen
"I assume that Loona will need Shots and obedience training?" Lucy asks with Tsume and Hana nodding while Loona widened her eyes at the mention of shots. Which is something she hates...
"Yes. I am a licensed vet. I can keep track of Loona's progress as she grows." Hana answered handing Lucy some paperwork to sign. As Lucy signed it.
"Good. We will be going now. Thanks come Naruto. Glad we had some time to talk Tsume-San think about it." Lucy would say as she. Naruto along with Loona and Yugao leaving the clan compound leaving only Tsume, Hana and Kuromaru.
"You sure you want to do this Mistress? Take up her offer to leave this village and join wave country?" Kuromaru spoke up to Tsume who sighed.
"I can't trust the Hokage anymore Kuromaru. I most likely can't forgive him for what he's done to Kushina's son. I'm doing this in debt to her. Later on we are going to form a meeting with our clan and tell them that the Inuzuka Clan will have to part ways from Konoha once the Chunin exams are over." Tsume says with a sigh.
"How will Kiba react to this?" Hana asks.
"He will have to accept this. I'm sure the other clan heads are possibly thinking of leaving Konoha as well, seeing the corruption and what Hiruzen wants to do on Naruto." Tsume replied back firmly.
( Later on.)
Naruto would be out on the streets with Loona walking besides him, wearing her collar, Haku would be, besides him during their little stroll watching him. She too liked Loona.
The villages stayed a clear path away from Naruto and Haku. Loona was just walking infront of the two.
Suddenly they heard voices.
"Kankuro will you please put him down already! We don't want to start trouble!" A Blonde haired girl would say
"No! Temari! I'm going to teach this little runt not to insult me and disrespect me for-" Kankuro would say until the boy in his arms spoke.
"For wearing Makeup!" The boy spat.
"It's WARPAINT damnit! I'm going to knock your block off you little brat!" Kankuro would say sending his fist to the little boy only for his fist to stop, and he couldn't get it to move.
"Hey! What gives! Something is stopping me from punching you!" Kankuro shouts In frustration
"That would be my doing." Says Naruto as they turned towards him
"You? Let me go!" Kankuro says.
"if there's one thing I don't like. It's bullies. Pick on someone you're on size. I believe that's the Hokage's Grandson isn't it?" Naruto says with kankuro paling as was Temari. Naruto suddenly released his vector.
"It's you. The horned freak that's with my brother." Says a all too familiar voice as they turned and saw Sasuke Uchiha glaring daggers at Naruto. Loona got infront of Naruto protecting him from this urchin. While Haku had her vectors ready.
"And you must be Sasuke, your brother told me about you before." Naruto replied as he saw Sasuke, Sakura and Sai together as his eyes went towards another figure that was on a tree. And this figure gave off killer intent. This made Kankuro and Temari freeze as they saw a red haired girl with dead blue eyes, she has the kanji for love on her forehead. Along with a goard
"Ga-Gaia!?" Exclaimed Kankuro seeing his little sister.
"Kankuro. You are a embarrassment to our village. Put the kid down. You are outclassed." Gaia says coldly at her brother.
"But-" Kankuro says but she silenced him with a glare.
"Shut up or I'll kill you." Gaia hissed looking at Naruto.
"forgive my brother. He is an idiot. He will know his place if not I will kill him. What is your name." Gaia asks she seems a bit interested in this red head boy before her with horns on his head.
"Naruto Namikaze Uzumaki. You?" Naruto answered.
"Subaku no Gaia of Suna. my sister and brother and I are here for the Chunin exams. Are participating?" She asked him keeping her focus on him.
"Yes. I'm only there as a challenger." Naruto answers as the girl has a blank expression
"I hope I get to fight you Uzumaki. You seem strong in my eyes." Gaia says with a malicious smile
"You'll be disappointed. I'm only fighting two challengers." Naruto answered but Gaia's smile never left her face.
"Better make it three. Because I too want to challenge you. You just may prove my existence. I look forward to giving your blood to mother." Gaia says as she would walk away with a sadistic smile on her face. Suddenly her siblings went tense and followed her.
"jeez. She looks like she hasn't slept in a long time." Loona would say
"She makes my skin crawl." Haku would say
"Hey you horned freak! Where is my brother! So I'll make him pay for what he did to father!" Sasuke demanded
"As if I will tell you where he is." Naruto says with a scoff walking away with loona and Haku following him.
"Look at me when I'm talking to you! Don't you dare turn your back on me!" Sasuke says tossing some shuriken at Naruto only for the Uzumaki boy to repel them with his vectors as Naruto sent one of his vectors to punch the boy in the face
"Ow!" Sasuke grunted in pain as he clutched his face
"Sasuke-kun! Why you!" Sakura says until Haku narrowed her eyes and used her vectors to trip Sakura who fell on the ground. Loona walked over to Sakura and lifted her leg and peed on the girl who screamed in disgust that she's being pissed on.
"How you like that.?" Loona says walking back to her master.
"Let's go guys." Naruto says as he and his group would walk away
Sasuke got back up glaring at their retreating forms.
"You will pay for this you horned freak! You and Itachi both!" Sasuke growled in thought.
