With the artifacts obtained it was now time to get the trophies needed to start the boss fight. They found the obelisk but like Kakuzu said they would have to wait until it was night so they wouldn't fry to a crisp. There were also taming dinos to navigate through the radiation zone as well as light pets.
Everyone but Freya had a light pet being either a shinehorn, bulldog, or glowtail. She heard Kakuzu say something about a bird glow pet so she decided that was the one she wanted. Freya Itachi and Kisame were out searching for this potential tame. She remembered Hidan and Kakuzu both say they were more likely to be found in the radiation zone but there was a chance to find one close to the base.
"Ok everyone keep your eyes open we should be close." Freya said as they neared the location. Spinos and Karkinos were everywhere along with packs of ravagers running by. This was a death trap for this glow pet. "Look over there, is that it?" Kisame asked.
Freya looked at the direction he was pointing in and saw it. It was flying down to land near a carno. Freya knew it would be killed so she charged in with Davina killing the carno before the featherlight landed. With Kisame and Itachi around her Freya jumped off her mount and ran to the bird feeding it a z seed.
Freya watched it eat the z seed quickly before taking flight again. Luckily it stayed in the same area and was protected. Freya waited patiently as it landed once more feeding the last z seed. The featherlight flew up before flying to Freya and perching itself on her shoulder. Freya was beaming with joy that she got her one of these birds. "Ok let's go back to the base and gather everyone so we can make a taming pen down in the bioluminescent forest." Itachi said.
Freya and Kisame both nodded in agreement as they headed back to the base. They learned that the megalosaurus were immune to the radiation sickness so that was a tame they definitely needed. Freya remembered reading about it on the island that they wake up at night and are pretty strong due to the night buff it had. Not to mention if they got male and female the mate boost on top of the night buff made them almost comparable to that of a rex.
The only issue they had to deal with now was the basilisks that hid in the ground the reapers and the rock drakes. Freya and Itachi waited outside the base while Kisame went inside to get the others. "When we get back to our world, where would we go?" Freya asked.
Itachi looked at her and shrugged "I'm not really sure to be honest. We will worry about that when we get out of here." He told her. Freya just nodded knowing it was best to focus on getting out here.
"Alright let's get this over with I want to get out of here everyone got their glow pets?" Kakuzu asked. Everyone nodded "Alright let's go." He said as he and Hidan began walking on foot.
Both him and Hidan were the only ones without a mount, seeing as they couldn't die it didn't matter. Standing at the beginning of the bioluminescent biome they had their glow pets make light allowing safe passage into dangers below.
"So we can tame the megalosaurs to ride on and use tek rexes to deal damage." Freya said. "We can do that we will need to make good saddles for them and breed as many as possible to make sure we get out of this alive." Kisame added.
They stopped at a good location to build the dino trap. The only thing they really had to worry about were basilisks and the rock drakes that were using invisible cloaking. Those were the bigger dangers they did have the titanoboas to worry about as well. They were far away from the karkinos that were in the water.
Once the trap was done it was time to start taming some dinos. One person would lure the megalosaurus in. One would shut the door behind it. And then the tranquilizers would be used. This went on until everyone had one each.
"Alright now we just have to breed and raise some rexes. And then go and do this boss fight" Freya said relief washed over her knowing this nightmare was almost over. Then let's get to it then." Kakuzu said to her.
Freya smiled and nodded as they made their way back to base. It was getting close to dinner time and there was a lot to do. Freya made dinner while Kisame and Sasori began breeding rexes, Itachi, Deidara,Kakuzu and Hidan were out getting resources to make the saddles.
Freya began smiling. It wouldn't be long before She and Itachi would get married and run off somewhere so her parents wouldn't interfere. No more having to worry about getting sent away. Maybe she could put a stop to the brothels back home as well. But first things first get the hell out of here!
"What are you smiling about?" She heard Itachi ask. Freya jumped slightly at his words as she was caught off guard. "Nothing really, just looking forward to spending the rest of my life with you." She said, earning a chuckle from him.
She watched as Itachi made his way to her before picking her up and setting her on the table. Freya could feel his breath by her ear "the moment we get out of here be prepared to not leave our room." He said in a husky tone. Freya knew what he meant by that. She was also mentally cursing him for making her so flustered.
When Itachi pulled away to look at her he could see the blush she had on her face. Her breathing was labored and lust was in her eyes. "If it wasn't for the fact anyone could walk in on us any minute I'd have you take me right now." She told him.
This shocked Itachi but he didn't show it. Both of them are playing a dangerous game of who can make the other cave. Itachi chuckled before giving her a quick kiss and allowing her to go back to making dinner.
"Hey, we need some help." Deidara said, appearing in the doorway before running off quickly. Both Freya and Itachi left the greenhouse to see what was going on. They both could see Hidan on one knee grasping his chest. "What's going on?" Freya asked.
She could see blood dripping down his mouth. "While we was getting resources I went down into the radiation zone to explore a little more and I got attacked and almost eaten by a basilisk. And then I fucking got ambushed by a reaper queen. I killed her but she picked me up and stabbed me with its tail before she died." He said before he roared in pain.
To Freya this was something that came out of a horror film. They watched as they noticed something moving in his chest cavity and then it happened. They watched as this creature burst out of his chest and began attacking Hidan right after.
Hidan picked it up and just like that it turned into a small reaper. "Well, it looks like you got your own reaper now." Sasori said. Hidan scoffed before taking the baby with him, uttering some curse words under his breath.
Freya laughed lightly before getting a whiff of something burning and then she realized she was cooking.
