Chapter 7
Later, the two of them were sitting on top of the Batmobile.
"Batgirl?" Batwing asked.
"Yes?" she asked.
"Do you think I could keep being your sidekick?" Batwing asked.
Batgirl looked surprised.
"I'd love for you to keep being my sidekick. You're brave. You help people in need. You even saved my life despite me wanting you to sit out. That's everything a sidekick should be." Batgirl said with a smile.
"So is that a yes?" Batwing asked.
"Well, I don't know. Your mom and dad probably wouldn't be too keen on it. Sure you've gone through this night without getting hurt. But that could just be beginner's luck." Batgirl said.
Batwing looked thoughtful, "True, but still." he said.
Suddenly, they heard screaming. Batgirl hopped off the Batmobile and Batwing did as well, only to feel pain upon landing.
"It's getting worse!" he said, urging Batgirl to help him into the Batmobile before they sped off to the crime.
