Chapter 17 Goodbye For Now

Ox-King tried to kick Gohan as hard as he could , then Gohan dodged the kick. Then he jumps in the air and flips over the Ox-King, hitting him in the back of the neck. Ox-King kneels down but then he rises up.
Ox-King rubs the back of his neck but then he laughs, then turns around and smiles ready to continue. Gohan smiles at Ox-King, impressing his strength, then he starts to take it a bit more seriously. He took a deep breath in and out, then he rushed the Ox-King.
Ox-King waits until the last second and he punches Gohan back. Gohan blocked the punch but he was pushed back.
It still hurts a bit even blocking it. Ox-King let out a loud cheer about hitting the legendary Gohan and even though he blocked Ox-King's punch, he was proud he got hit on he stomped his foot as hard as he could, making the ground shake. He was getting riled up now. Gohan sighs and frowns.
He was hoping Ox-King wouldn't get cocky and try to stay calm, but he also knew this was an 11-year-old boy with incredible strength beyond normal men's 11-year-but he was still just a kid and got a lot of growing up to do. He then ran over to Ox-King.
Ox-King smirks and he goes to strike Gohan at the last minute, but when punched, it was the image of Gohan. Some kind of afterimage and Gohan put a bit more ki in his finger and poked Ox-King pressure point to take out his legs. Ox-King then fell over and he tried to get up but his leg was numb.
I surrender, said the defeated Ox-King. I am still not at your level, Gohan. It is not that you are not far from my level, it is that you are overconfident and lack self-control and focus. I was able to predict your moves and see your flaws like a book that was one of the lessons I was taught by master roshi when I was your age.
Move well, Study well, Eat well, and Rest well- That's Turtle Master Way!
