In the Contessa's re-education tower, a human adult woman was strapped to a gurney like device. The human woman was Caucasian. She was in her mid 30s. She had short blonde hair. She had hazel colored eyes. She was currently wearing a periwinkle colored T-shirt over brown trousers. Her name was Martha Kore. She was Julius and Tommy's mother. Martha's eyes, which would normally be hazel, were now a multitude of different colors. That was because she was currently being hypnotized using a device called the Irontech 2.0 which was a hypnotic device that was powered by the Clockwerk eyes. Martha Kore didn't know where she was or how she got to be in the Contessa's castle. The last thing that Martha Kore remembered before passing out was her working a late night shift at Burger King in Newark, New Jersey in the human world in 2019.
It was August 31, 2019. Julius Kore and his brother Tommy were missing for more than a month. Martha Kore didn't know where Julius of his brother were at. She had no idea that both her sons were inside of a PlayStation 2 game that featured anthropomorphic animals in it from the mid 2000s. Julius hadn't called her in a long time. She was starting to get concerned that she may never be able to see Julius or Tommy ever again. Martha still continued her daily life as a newspaper reporter at The Star Ledger, a newspaper company by day and at nights she worked a shift at the local Burger King. She was the one who made out all of the orders for the customers. Martha Kore liked her job at the Burger King more than her other job at the Star Ledger as a newspaper reporter. She worked long hours at both jobs.
It was 11:25 PM. The Burger King that Martha Kore worked at was starting to close down for the night. She was cleaning up the kitchen area. Relaxing pop music played through the loudspeaker. The restaurant was nearly empty. Martha was hummming the song: Pumped Up Kicks by Foster The People to herself. Meanwhile, outside a car suddenly pulled up to the parking lot of the Burger King. The car door opened. A Caucasian woman in her mid fifties stepped out of the car. She was pale. She had long blue hair that reached behind her shoulders with eyes that had red irises. She wore a red dress with a web like pattern on it.
She looked almost identical to the Contessa from the Sly Cooper games except instead of her being a female anthropomorphic spider, she was a human being. Her name was Gloria Contessen. She came from the Czech Republic. She had travelled from her world into the human world to kidnap Julius Kore's mother Martha Kore in an attempt to hypnotize her by forcing her to consume illegal spice while being under the hypnotic spell of the Clockwerk eyes. She originally wanted to capture Inspector Carmelita Fox of Interpol and had originally planned on hypnotizing her. Unfortunately, the Contessa wasn't able to locate Carmelita's whereabouts following her disappearance in the Jailbreak in Prague that happened shortly after Tommy Kore, Sly Cooper and Murray were freed from the Contessa's prison in Prague. She then found out about Julius Kore's mother and decided that it would be a good idea to kidnap and hypnotize Martha Kore as revenge against Julius and Tommy.
Gloria Contessen walked toward the front entrance of the Burger King. She opened the door. She walked toward the front counter. The human version of the Contessa wanted to speak to Martha Kore. Martha saw a woman standing behind the counter. She wondered why this woman would be in the restaurant this late in the night.
"Ma'am, what are you doing here behind the counter? We're just about ready to close down." Martha said to the woman behind the counter.
"Nice place you have here." Gloria Contessen said to Martha, complimenting on how nice the Burger King looked in terms of cleanliness and appearance.
"Thanks." Martha said. She appreciated the woman's compliment. Gloria Contessen took a moment to look at the menu overhead. Some of the Burger King meals intrigued her. The spicy meals were especially intriguing to Gloria. She wanted to execute her plan of drugging Martha Kore with illegal spice. She wanted to propose to Martha to try and taste the illegal spice as a new flavor additive to put into the spicier foods of Burger King.
"Say, I've got a new spice here for you and your employees to try and test out on your more spicier foods." Gloria suggested to Martha.
"Really?" Martha asked. "What spice did you have in mind?" Gloria took out a vial of illegal spice. The powdered spice was a reddish color. It reminded Martha of cumin and paprika. The illegal spice smelled sweet. Martha wasn't sure if this spice was some type of drugs or not.
"This is my special spice recipe I made myself." Gloria said to Martha.
"Is this spice some type of drug? If it is, I'm going to have to ask you to leave the premises." Martha threatened the human version of the Contessa. She would be damned if she was to be forced to consume an illegal substance against her will.
"Who's to say it is a drug? What if it isn't a drug?" Gloria Contessen offered Martha.
"Even if the spice wasn't some type of drugs, I'm still not taking any chances on consuming it." the human woman said.
"Come on, it doesn't hurt to try a new spice. After all, it's like what they say: You can't judge a book by it's cover." Gloria reminded Martha. Martha Kore wasn't sure if she wanted to try to taste the spice. What if it was some type of drug? Martha guessed it wouldn't hurt if she were to taste the spice herself out of curiosity. She poured a small sample of the red spice into the palm of her right hand. She then put the handful of spice into her mouth. The taste of the spice was somewhat sweet. Not as sweet as sugar or cocaine, it was sweet nevertheless. The spice tasted a mixture between cinnamon, garlic powder and paprika. She swallowed the spice. She coughed a bit after swallowing the spice.
"So, how does my spice taste for you?" the human version of the Contessa asked Martha Kore.
"It tasted decent." Martha said. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to clean up this restaurant. It's going to be closing down soon. I suggest that you either order something off the menu or leave."
"I'd rather stay here and watch you clean up the establishment, if you don't mind." Gloria said to Martha.
"Ok." Martha said. She then resumed her task of cleaning up the kitchen area of the Burger King while Gloria Contessen sat at a nearby table. A few moments later, Martha started to feel extremely light headed and drowsy. Everything was starting to get dizzy for her. She started feeling extremely week. She eventually fell unconsious on the kitchen floor. This was the opportunity that the Contessa a.k.a. Gloria Contessen needed to experiment and torture Martha Kore in her castle estate in Prague.
The Contessa waltzed right into the kitchen and dragged the unconsious human woman's body back to her blimp, which was waiting outside in the parking lot of the Burger King. The human version of Constable Neyla from the Sly Cooper games was waiting inside the blimp for The Contessa to show up. Neyla saw the human version of The Contessa drag the unconsious human body of Martha Kore outside from the Burger King to her blimp. The Contessa put Martha Kore in the blimp.
"Did you get Julius and Tommy Kore's mother?" Neyla asked the Contessa.
"Yes. This woman here is the mother of Julius and Thomas Kore." The Contessa told Neyla. "I had her try a batch of illegal spice. She felt unconsious almost immediately. I want to dig deep into her mind."
"Let's get out of here before we attract any unwanted attention." Neyla told the Contessa. The Contessa started the blimp up. The Contessa's blimp was big, almost the same size as the Hindenburg and Cyrille LeParadox's blimp. The blimp flew into the night air. That's how the mother of Julius and Tommy's mother was drugged and brought to the Contessa's castle estate in Prague to be hypnotized.
